Depths of Fear
In Skeleton King's throne room, A small figures of the Hyper Force stood on the hologram of Shuggazoom city which was projected from his staff.
"Shuggazoom City, the last stronghold of hope in the universe yet defies me. All because of a child, the cyborg, and some filthy monkeys!" He exclaimed. "I reign terror from the sky!" A meteor hurdling to the city. "Launch waves of the vilest creatures!" The horde of Formless is raining from the sky to the city, but the figures of Hyper Force is counterattacking them by shooting lasers from their eyes.
Skeleton King reached his hand on the jar and grabbed the worm from it. He used his power to turn it into the ferocious giant worm and set it loose on the Shuggazoom city. He cackles as the monster worm is rampaging on the city.

"While exploring the outskirts of the city, I discovered an abandoned Super Robot. It was then my life was transformed by the mysterious Power Primate. The sun shines brightly over the Shuggazoom city and the heat is intense as it was summer season comes.
"Sizzle, sizzle, Shuggazoom City. It's hot out there! But don't fret it or sweat it" the radio said as everyone is tired, sweating, and thirsty from the heat of the sun. "To beat the heat, you just hydrate and from refrigerate. Get yourself a frosty holographic ice cream cone." he said as the little girl came out of ice cream shop with her holographic ice cream. "Stay out of the sun or you'll end up well-done." Her ice cream melt and shocked her, leaving her burned when it dies down. "Find some shade or better yet, go on and get wet, wet, wet." BT and Glenny are taking shade, but gets wet in the shade. As they thought they were relief, but the rain turns it was the sweats from the large citizen. "Talking about a fishing hole or swimming pool, fool." He said in the radio as the Super Robot stomps over to the water hole with the signs says fishing hole and swimming pool. "Stroll down to your friendly neighborhood river, lake, or stream and leave the cool dude to me." Super Robot's foot door opened and the three robot monkeys rushed out.
"Tallyhoe!" Gibson shouted while flying.
"Here we come! Yeah!" Nova shouted.
"Yahoo!" Otto hollered. "Watch out! Here I come!"
He and Nova dives to the swimming hole, but ends up hitting a rock bottom as if the swimming hole is dried up.
Antauri floated down as Tyran jumped down to see the watering hole is dried up completely.
"This is an unfortunate turn of events." Antauri said. "Gibson?"
"According to my calculations..." Gibson theorized.
"The rivers dried up. Heh, guess I'm a genius too " Sparx said, obvious.
"No water." Chiro sighed, but realized what he said. "I mean, ah, what a shame." Making Sparx look at him.
Suddenly the ground begins to shake, causing them to fall off, but it passes shortly.
"What was that?" He asked, looking down the hole.
"Minor tectonic activity, nothing to get excited about." Gibson assured.
"Yes, there is." Otto pointed at the crack on the watering hole until it sprouted out the waters and crashed on the robot monkeys and Tyran. "Swimming is a go!" He said, excitedly as Antauri descended down the water.
Nova and Otto swims on the water while Gibson and Tyran stood still in waters until they got splashed in their face.
"Oh, great." Chiro dismayed while sweating from extreme heat weather.
Chiro's face was fanned when Sparx use his tail to fanning away his sweats.
"Hey, kid. Just be cool." Sparx said.
"I am. Cool is a hardly sweating a... cool person" Chiro said.
"Uh-huh. So, are you gonna go in?"
"I would, but the water looks too deep. I mean, cold." He said, nervously.
Gibson is on the ledge with Tyran, measuring the water temperature with his tail.
"According to my readings, the water is warm. Unusually warm." Gibson stated while Otto scrub himself like being in the shower.
Tyran beeped in speaking that 'how can the water be warmed after it sprouted out of ground?'
"Wouldn't me." Otto launches up in air.
"Then, where is all this warm water come from?" Nova asked while she swims backward.
"If you studied your history, you'll know that Shuggazoom was constructed above the subterranean reservoir." Gibson explained when Nova's eyes bulged as she looked up.
"Oh no." Nova gulped.
"Monkey Tsunami!" Otto dived down and created a huge splash that washes them off. "Aha! You should've seen the look on your faces!" He laughed.
"You are a such a child." Gibson said. He uses his drill hand to shoot Otto in his face as Nova cover her face. She pouted their childish antics for a second and transforms her hand into a giant fist.
"Boom Boom Wake-Up!" Nova created a massive wave and washed them away as Otto brace himself from the impact.
Tyran responded back by shooting the water with his Sonic Eye beam, splashing the robot monkeys away while Antauri meditating at the bottom of the swimming hole.
"Kid, it's okay. I know how you feel." Sparx said.
"What do you mean?" Chiro gulped.
"You know, you'll get all... wet and there's all that... sand, getting in your shorts and you got your fingers turning all wrinkly." He said, making Chiro sweat, nervously.
Chiro took a deep breath. "Totally. I mean, absolutely-"
The ground is starting to shaking again.
The robot monkeys were floating in the air and Tyran jumps out of water.
"Uh-oh. Another quake. This can't be good." Otto said as Antauri floats back to surface with energy field forming around him.
"It's not. Monkeys, Mobilize!" Antauri said.
Chiro transforms his civilian clothes to his Hyper Force uniform. "Hyper Force, Go!"
Chiro and his team headed to the Super Robot and their chutes, sending them to their cockpits.
Tyran arrived to his cockpit and beeped saying 'Cardio Cycle Seven' go.
"Foot Crusher Cruiser Six, Go!" Nova said.
"Foot Crusher Cruiser Five, Go!" Otto said.
"Fist Rocket Four, Go!" Gibson said.
"Fist Rocket Three, Go!" Sparx said.
"Brain Scrambler Pilot Two, Go!" Antauri said.
"Torso Tank Driver One, Go!" Chiro said.
The Super Robot pathway glows in arrow, ready to disengaged. "Prepare to disengaged." Chiro said.
The lock on Super Robot disengaged and the Super Robot splits into the battle vehicles. It launches the Fist Rockets, retracts the limbs. The Brain Scrambler is deployed, Torso Tank is lowered from leg limbs, releasing the Foot Crusher Cruisers. The Cardio Cycle is deployed from the Torso Tank.
"We're got flooding in sectors three, five, and eleven." Antauri said, looking at the radar.
"Eleven? That's the transit tunnel. Make tracks, team!" Chiro said as the water breached through the transit tunnel.
The transit train is stuck when the debris causes the train to be off the rail track and everyone in the train panicked as the tunnel is flooding.
"Don't worry, Mr. Cheepers. I won't let you get wet." The civilian said, hugged his stuffed penguin.
The Hyper Force droves in the tunnel as a few debris falls, but missed them.
"Gibson! Sparx! I need cover! Blast those tiles!" Chiro ordered.
"We're on it, kid!" Sparks responded as he and Gibson launched the missiles at the falling tiles before it falls on anyone.
"Great, water everywhere." He muttered. "Nova! Otto! Tyran! Plug those leaks!"
"Gotcha!" Nova said.
"Aye-aye, chief!" Otto said.
Tyran beeped in respond.
They stopped at the leaks and Nova opened the windshield, extending her arms with mega fists to block the leaks and Otto shoots the quick-drying cement on the leaks. Tyran beeped that there's mores leak to block it and tells them follow him and fast. Antauri and Chiro stops next to the transit train.
Everyone screams and panicked as the water is rising high until the cracks on the windows is about to give out.
"Antauri, we need an escape hatch!" Chiro said.
"My thoughts exactly." Antauri said as he pressed the button, causing the probe to turn into a buzzsaw.
He flew to the tunnel ceiling and cutting through it.
Chiro activates the grappling claws to hold the transit train steady.
"Moving transit car in place." He pulls the lever, making the claws to pull the train in place. Chiro pops up on the tank. He jumps over the transit car and lands on it. "Thunder Punch!" He punches through the train's car roof. Everyone cheered as Antauri activates the tractor beam through the hole in ceiling tunnel, bringing everyone on city surface safely.
The water leak burst out the cement, but Nova managed to block it in time. "Oh no, you don't!"
Gibson and Sparx keeps firing missiles the falling tiles debris until the it falls near the transit cars, making it wobbling as the claw loses its grip. Chiro made a grab on the antenna before it topples over.
"Hurry it up, kid! The ceiling ain't looking good!" Sparx urges Chiro to hurry up.
"Going up, Mr. Cheepers." he said as being the last one to be saved.
"That's everybody. We're clear." Chiro said before the claw is losing its grip. "Whoa!" He holds on to it tightly as he almost slips to the water.
The tile debris falls above Otto and Nova's battle cruisers as Nova blocks the crack. "Otto!"
"I see it!" Otto said. The ceiling is bursting the water, causing Nova to let go when the waters flooding the tunnel.
Tyran keeps swerving from the falling tiles debris on his Cardio cycle until the flood splashes him over.
"Monkey doodle!" Sparx said.
"No call for such language!" Gibson said as the debris collapsed on the Fist Rockets. "Double monkey doodle." They were sent crashing down the flood. The last civilian is floating up safely before the hole was closed up.
"Chiro." Antauri said, worriedly.
"Not a problem. I'm taking the Torso Tank out of here." He said. Chiro looked at is tank, but seeing that makes him think he couldn't make it by jumping over it. "I can make it. Few strokes and I'm there. No problem." He muttered as he can see Skeleton King mirage, cacking at him that he will fail. He puts his head down, knowing that he couldn't jump over to his tank. He activates his com-link.
"Monkey team, I have a problem." He gets static as there is no response from other. "Monkey team?" He responds, but no answers.
He looks down when the water level is rising high to his stomach level. He could try to make a swim for the tank, but couldn't do it.
"Monkey team! Come in! Over?! Nova? Otto? Do you read?! Sparx? Gibson? Tyran? Somebody?!" He cried for help, but no answer.
The flood level reaches to his neck level and Chiro is nervous of being drowned in the water.
"Nothing to be afraid of. Antauri said visualize the solution and one will come." He said as the flood levels reach to his mouth level, which he coughs out of water.
He feels the transit car moving and turns out that Nova moves it.
"Somebody calls for a push." Nova said, pushing the transit car up.
"You okay, Chiro?" Otto asked.
Tyran burst out of the water with Cardio cycle's inflated tire wheels. He beeped to Chiro that he needed our help there.
"Me? Why wouldn't I be? Uhh... Anyone seen Sparks and Gibson?" Chiro asked.
The Fist Rockets flew up from the debris with Gibson using his drill hand.
"Nice job, Gibson." Sparx said.
The ceiling was drilled through by Antauri. "Chiro, grab on!" Chiro waved as Antauri swoops downs to Chiro who grabbed it before the flood covers him.
"Let's scram." He ordered as Otto push the Torso tank out of tunnel. The Hyper force left the flooded tunnel.
"Yahoo!" Otto shouted.
"We're outta here!" Sparx said.
The water level is flooding the Shuggazoom city, it reaches holographic ice cream shock the little girl when she holds it. BT and Glenny were using the civilian as a raft.
The Hyper force were on the higher bridge, knowing that the city will be flooded at this rate.
"It's rising too fast!" Chiro exclaimed.
The screen that Gibson scanned shows the cause of water level rising.
"The intensive seismic activity must likely damage the city's subterranean support system" Gibson reported.
"I get it. The city is sinking." He said.
"And the damage must be repaired." Antauri added. "We have one option."
"Um... We go back down." Sparx said.
"Underwater." Chiro said, sweat dropped.
The Hyper force went underwater with the vehicles to look for the city's support system.
"Um... How deep do we have to go?" Chiro asked.
"Conservative estimate; 20,000 mega fathoms." Gibson answered.
"Ooh... Sounds deep." Otto commented. "Just think if we got stuck down here. I wonder the fish would eat us." He imagined, making Chiro a bit nervous.
Tyran beeped to Otto, saying that there are no fishes underneath the city.
"Underground lake, directly ahead." Antauri alerted.
They reached the support system area, but they found out is the pillars is somehow having teeth mark as it was chewed off of it.
"Impressive." He said.
"Wow." Chiro awed.
"Check it out." Nova said.
"That's big." Otto said.
"And to think the city is supported by these pillars." Gibson said.
Tyran beeped in saying that this was causing the city to quake and sinking.
"Looks like the quake hit this one pretty hard." Otto said.
"It appears that we may have bigger problem." Antauri noticed the damaged pillars.
"I would speculate those holes are not from any earthquake." Gibson said.
Chiro looked up at the damaged pillars, sweated nervously.
"They look almost like..." Otto said.
"Teeth! Teeth marks!" Chiro finished his sentence.
Suddenly, one of the pillars began to break.
"Watch out!" Sparx shouted as the pillars began to fall on the pillars like a falling dominoes and the city is sinking.
The monkey team were yelling when the debris is falling.
"The city's coming down! Machinder mode team. Go!" Chiro shouted out to form a Super Robot.
The Torso tank retract the cannons with the Cardio cycle leaps up and land inside the tank. it launches in the air. The Fist Rockets transform into a robot hand while the Foot crusher transform into a robot foots. The Brain Scrambler jet transform into a robot head as it attached to the Torso tank. It extends the arm limbs for the robot hands to attach it. The leg limbs extended when the robots foot launches to the limb mechanism and attached to it. The Super Robot is officially online.

The Super Robot steps in and hold the city steady while the pillars breaks. The city stops sinking as the Super Robot lift it higher when the flood level on the lowers down. The little girl sighed in relief, but her ice cream touched the puddle of water and shocked her once again. BT and Glenny got off the large civilian when the water is gone.
"The city is stabilized; the robot is holding. I stand corrected, it obviously wasn't a earthquake that caused the city to sink." Gibson said, scanning the seismic activity.
"It was some kind of big toothy thing." Otto described.
Tyran beeped in saying that whatever it was, took a bite out of the pillars and it can't get far from here.
"So, let's find it so I can smash it and pound it and slam it and-" Nova rambled,
"Nova." Antauri said, causing her to smile sheepishly. "Team, prep for underwater mode!" He declared, making Sparks and Chiro's eyes widened in surprised.
"Of course. Uh... Somebody has to stay behind to handle...And... Handle the robot. So, I guess that would probably be me." Spark said, nervously.
"Me! I'll do it! I'll stay." Chiro smiled sheepishly.
The monkey team and Tyran dives in and out of the Super Robot's underwater tube.
Back in the Super Robot, Sparx is about to go underwater.
"You cool?" Chiro asked.
"Always" He responded. "Just a little water. Nothing to be afraid of, right?" He assured.
"Right, good luck, Sparks." Chiro thumbs-up to Sparx.
Sparx activate his oxygen mask on and the door closed, ready to deploy the deep-sea dive.
Sparx use his floodlight on his head. "Who am I kidding? I don't want to be out here either." Sparx muttered. "There's a reason monkeys' lives in trees." He swims to catch up with the others.
"I'm picking up anomalous reading." Gibson has a scanner in his hands. "Something's... Somethings moving..."
Chiro is staring at the monitor screen, showing their vital signs and radar. He sees somethings is heading towards them.
"I got it on radar. You're on course to intercept." He responded as he looks at the monkey team's vital signs.
Nova looks back at Sparx. "Hey, Sparx! Pick up the pace!" She said as something is lurking behind him.
"Whoa!" Sparks looked back. "Uh... Is that you, Nova? Heh. Real cute. Heh. Almost had me going." Thinking it was Nova, He heard something and looked back, shine his floodlight, to a tentacle-like creatures with teeth. "Guys, I think I found a big tooth."
"Get away! Oh no!" He yelled from the radio as the tentacle monster is closing in on Sparx. "Nooooo!"
Sparx vital signs are faded.
"Sparx, Come in!" Chiro contact Sparx, but no answer. "Monkey team. I've lost Sparx!"
"I'll get him!" Nova swims back to get Sparx. Otto catches up to Nova and Tyran follows behind him.
"Nova, wait up." Otto said. Nova sees the tentacle monsters and is intimidated by it.
"Otto, Tyran! Watch out!" Nova yelled.
"Nova?" They turned to see more tentacle monster. "Hugh? Uh-oh."
Tyran beeped in saying double 'uh-oh'.
On the monitor screen, the tentacle monster is closing in on Otto and his vital signs are faded.
"I've lost Nova and Tyran. Otto too. Somebody report, what's going on?!" Chiro said.
"We're surrounded! They're everywhere!" Antauri responded as more tentacle monster is closing in on him and Gibson.
"Ugh! Where are these things come from?" Gibson said in radio.
"Things? What things?" Chiro ran to wall and open the porthole. At first, he sees nothing, but the tentacle monster pops out and screeched. "Waah! Oh yeah! that's definitely a thing!" He pressed the button. "Defense Grid, activated!" It causes a Super Robot to be covered in energy field. The tentacle monster was repelled from it when they get near it.
Antauri and Gibson is surrounded by more tentacle monsters as Antauri use his Ghost Claw to slash the monster's neck, but more monster comes and wrapped around Antauri in coil, squeezing his jet propellers.
"Chiro!" He yelled.
Antauri's vital signs went flat and vanished from screen.
Gibson used his drill hands to drill through the monster's neck, but more tentacle monster comes and wrapped around Gibson in coil, squeezing his jet propeller.
"Chiro! We need your help!" He shouted.
The tentacle monsters are closing in on Gibson on radar screen.
"Auuugh!" Gibson grunted in radio.
"Okay, Chiro. You'll think of something." Chiro muttered.
"Help! Chiro! Help us!" He cried to Chiro as the monsters is closing in.
"I can't help!" Chiro admitted. "I can't swim."
"AH! Aaaah!" Gibson screamed as his vital sign vanished on screen.
The tentacle monsters popped out of manhole and fire hydrant, even they burst out of the ground, knocking off the hover car. BT, Glenny, and a large ran from the tentacle monster. Once again, the little girl got her ice cream, but was cornered by a tentacle monsters. She screams and runs away as the monster devours her ice cream. The monster crash and devour the debris, it looked at the civilian with plush penguin.
"Mr. Jeepers, I love you, but we've all got to make sacrifices." He holds up his plush penguin. The creature grabs it mouthful and swallows it as the civilian rans away screaming.
The Shuggazoom city is being overrun by these tentacle monsters with everyone screamed and panicked.
Chiro looked at the monitor, showing that the city is under attack.
"Perfect!" Chiro said, sarcastically. "Shuggazoom city's is trouble, The monkeys and cyborg are gone and I can't do anything. I'm too afraid of water." He leans back to seat. "Some hero I turned out to be." He closes his eyes, contemplating.
"Chiro!" He hears an ominous voice, yet familiar.
Chiro opens a hatch, wearing his protective suit.
"Chiro!" He looked left and right, looking for the voice he heard until he sees the Skeleton King illusion as he cackles at him.
"Skeleton King!" Chiro hissed.
"Wherever there is fear, you'll find me, boy." He taunted Chiro as more tentacle monster shown up. "Now you're outnumbered and alone, trapped. You should be afraid."
"I won't let my fear stop me anymore!" He jumps and swim through Skeleton King illusion, making him howling in pain and disappeared. Chiro spins out of control while floating down.
The monkey team and Tyran were being dragged deeper in the underwater cavern.
"Chiro! Do you read?!" Gibson said while struggled.
"We could use some help!" Otto said.
"The kid ain't coming! We all knew Chiro is afraid of water! What'd you expect?!" Sparx stated.
"Have faith in the boy! He'll face his fears. After all, you did." Antauri said to Sparx.
"Sparks!" Nova pointed at something below them.
"Huh? What big teeth. Great." Sparx exaggerated as the giant worm opened its big mouth.
Tyran beeped in saying 'Chiro better hurry up and fast because we're about to be eaten by a giant aquatic worm thing.'
Chiro is swimming in depths of ocean, looking for monkey team.
"The swimming thing isn't so tough." He said, looked backed to see the tentacle monster. He swam faster, dodging its bite until it wrapped him around in coil, crushing his oxygen pack. The pack beeped indicating that the oxygen pack is compromised.
"Monkey Fu!" Chiro unleashed his power of primate and broke free from their restraint. It scared off the tentacle monsters.
Chiro continued to swim towards the crater as the tentacle monster retreated from the hole. He sees the broken rocket pack next to the hole.
"Gibson's rocket pack." He said, knowing where they taking them, he swims to the hole and once he swims to it, he sees a same giant worm that Skeleton king created to terrorize the city.
"Augh!" Chiro disgusted to see that monster as the monkey team is getting dragged closer to its mouth. Chiro swam there and punched the tentacle monster, freeing Otto.
"Chiro." Antauri said.
"Yahoo!" Otto cheered.
"Guess I underestimated that kid." Sparx said while Chiro broke Sparks free. "Hey, what took you so long?" He asked.
"Couldn't find my flippers." He answered a He and Otto freed the rest of his team. The reunion was cut shortly when the tentacle monster is coming around. They swim away when they hit the underwater bedrock.
"Any ideas how to fight this thing?" Chiro said while tentacle monster screeching at them.
"Not like this!" Nova said.
"Whew. I'm burning up! Why is the water so hot down here?!" Chiro asked.
"It's not me!" Otto said while fending off the tentacle monster.
"Whatever this creature is, it seems to thrive in elevated temperatures." Antauri said while fending them off with his Ghost Claws
Sparx pulled Gibson out before the tentacle monster strikes him.
"Which is why it positioned itself directly above an active lava flow." Gibson explained.
"Terrific. We're standing on the volcano." Sparx said, sarcastically before the tentacle monster wraps him around. "Just keeps getting better."
Tyran cut Sparx free.
"So, let's turn up the heat." Chiro powered his right fist. "Thunder Punch!" He slams it on the volcano bedrock, sending the cracks towards the giant worm monster.
"Chiro! You'll triggering the eruption." Gibson shouted.
"Exactly! Follow my lead, team. Hyper Force, Go!" Chiro declared.
"The boy has lost his fear." Antauri impressed.
"And his mind." Gibson added.
"Magna-Tingler Blast!" Sparx sends the magnet energy to the ground.
"Swirling Destructo Saws!" Otto launched his saw-blades to the ground to make it crack more.
"Boom Boom Wake Up!" Nova slammed her giant fists in the ground to crack it more.
Tyran transforms his robotic right-hand to his axe and slams it on the ground, causing it create more cracks on the underwater bedrock.
Gibson and Antauri shrugged at it and decided to go along with the plan.
"Double monkey attack!" They attack the volcanic bedrock with drill hand and ghost claw.
The volcano bedrock continues to crack until it breaks, causing the giant worm monster to sink into the underwater volcano. The Hyper Force backed away from the lava pit.
"Who's sinking who now, ugly?" Chiro said.
"Time to go, monkey team!" Antauri said.
"Our rocket packs are busted." Sparx reminded them. "We'll never beat this heat."
"Sparks, remember? Be cool." Chiro said to Sparx, giving him idea.
"Cool? Right!" Sparx understood what Chiro meant as he turned his tail into a propeller fan. "Come on! Kid!" He reaches his hand out to Chiro.
Chiro grabbed his hand and Sparks flew out of the underwater volcano area. The other monkey team flew away with their tail propeller while Tyran activates his rocket boots to blast away. The giant worm was solidified into a molten statue when thriving too much heat, with its tentacles that solidify while holding the top support as a new pillar.
"Looks like Shuggazoom City just got a new foundation." Nova said, making Chiro smile.
Everyone in Shuggazoom is safe and the tentacle monster is solidifying to a statue. BT and Glenny slide down the its neck until the large civilian uncorks the fire hydrant, making those two get caught on the spouting water. The little girl can now enjoy her ice cream with the statue next to her.
The civilian managed to pull his stuffed penguin out of the statue. "Oh, forgive me, Mr. Jeepers. Oh, nuck, nuck, nuck, nuck."
Everyone cheered for the Hyper Force as they drove by them in their battle vehicles.
Skeleton king was disappointed and furious of its failure to terrorize the Shuggazoom city.
"The boy has foiled my plan!" He said as he picked a worm from the jar. "Even your kind fails me." He said to it. "Hmm, you are good for nothing!" He throws it in his mouth and swallows it.
He cackles until next time.
The Super Robot was parked on the forest and The Hyper force are back in the swimming hole. Chiro and Sparx are enjoying swimming in the water hole.
The tentacle monster emerges out of water, making them freaking out. They sighed in relief that it was Nova holding its head.
