The Savage Lands: Part I
Previously on Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force Go…
"As surly the Shuggazoom City fall, so shall the universe follow."
The army of Formless creatures is marching to the Shuggazoom City while Skeleton King and Mandarin viewed the destruction.
"My fear's been realized." Antauri exclaimed, "Skeleton King's ship has pierced the planet's core. The Dark One egg has been breached!"
The Citadel of Bone landed in the Pit of Doom and flows the dark energy into the Dark One Egg.
"At last, I shall awaken my master from his imprisoning slumber."
the Dark One felt the power pulsating from the Skeleton King's ship and opened its red eyes before erupting as Skeleton King cackled.
The Robot collapsed on its knee after using all its power with Brain Scrambler damaged.
"You were always my inferior!" He sneered, pulling his energy blade away from his head. "More suited for philosophy than battle."
The pit is starting to erupt as the Dark One is starting to emerge from the pit.
"The Dark One…the egg…must be…sealed."
It floated out of the pit and phased through Chiro, who cringed as the Power Primate is in him, and to the Super Robot as the others watched.
Chiro can feel Antauri's spirit within as well as the Power Primate is coursing through him.
The Dark One Worm and Skeleton King is ascending up to outer space.
They gasped at the sudden appearance that Chiro has turned into, a primitive monkey.
He screeched at them and dropped Antauri's helmet before heading up to the surface.
"We're gonna miss you, Antauri." Nova said, sadly.
Otto stood next to Chiro's chute, knowing that he's out there somewhere as Nova puts her on his shoulder for comfort.
"Where's Chiro?"
In the outland of Shuggazoom, Chiro ran and came across the mysterious tunnel as he galloping through the tunnel until he reached the end of it and saw the mysterious land of jungle which he was unfamiliar to him. The monkey Chiro bellowed at the land as if he was looking for something or…someone.

While exploring the outskirts of the city, I discovered an abandoned Super Robot. It was then my life was transformed by the mysterious Power Primate. The Robot Monkeys and a Cyborg were awakened and I, Chiro, became their leader. Our quest: save Shuggazoom City from the evils of the Skeleton King.

In the mysterious jungle, Chiro hurdles over the tree roots until he comes across the ooze spider which it tried to took a bite on him but missed when Chiro evade it and continue its way.
He jumps over the rocks in the swamps, but the rocks moved and turns out it's an ooze swamp serpent and went after Chiro, who grab the vine and swings over the swamp water and managed to lose it. As he gallops through the jungle, the group of ooze pterosaurs is swooping down at Chiro, who managed to jump down to the ravine.
The flying creatures is circling around him as Chiro is sneaking away and screeched at them before climbing up to the other side.
Chiro looked around and decide to drink the water from the pond. As he drinks it, he sees the reflection of the state he's in and was slightly taken back before look harder to see Antauri.
(Flashback)
"How do I pick the right path?"
"The right path is often the one you're already are."
He let the orb flying up as he floated up to it.
(Flashback End)
"Embrace the Power Primate and trust yourself"
The reflection of Antauri vanished as Chiro saddened.
"Don't lose hope, Chiro." His voice echoed his thought, "Stay on the path and you will find me."
Chiro pounded his chest, unknowingly activate his commlink before proceed finding Antauri.
Back on Shuggazoom City, the Super Robot is repaired from last battle as its antennae is boosting its signal. Among the group is Jinmay, who was called in about Chiro's disappearance while Tyran and the monkey team is trying locate Chiro.
"Anything yet?" Tyran asked.
"Hmm…I'm not get anything." Otto replied, "He must be out of ranged."
"I still don't understand why Chiro ran away from you." Jinmay said.
"He's not the Chiro you remember." Nova said, regrettably.
"The Power Primate has changed him in ways we do not yet understand." Gibson said.
"He's more of jabbering chimp than a kid now." Sparx exclaimed. "Otto, try boosting its receiving signal."
Otto turns the knob to boost the signal until he heard a monkey sound and it came from Chiro himself.
"Wait, I think it's him!" He said.
"What's he saying?" She said.
"It's a very basic primate language. Something about going to find…" Gibson deduced before realized. "Antauri!"
"You mean Antauri's alive?!" He beamed. "Maybe?"
"I wish, buddy." Sparx said, sadly.
"We all saw what happen. He gave up his life to seal the Dark One's egg." Tyran mentioned as Nova grabbed the microphone.
"Monkey team to Chiro. It's me, Nova." She called. "Please, come in."
The responses is replied with Chiro's monkey chattering while they're unable to understand what's he saying.
"What is he saying?" Tyran asked.
"Chiro, it's Jinmay. Can you hear me?" Jinmay responded in microphone. "Chiro?"
She sighed, hopelessly as the communication went silent.
"We lost him." Otto said.
Suddenly, the alarm went off as the monitor show the location of Chiro.
"There's still a chance. I've got a faint trace on his signal." Gibson said.
"Monkeys, mobilize!" Sparx and Gibson declared, but realized what he they said.
They frowned each other while Nova deadpanned and Otto and Tyran confused.
"With Chiro and Antauri gone, I should give the order, Sparx." He grimaced.
"Come again, Gibson." Sparx said.
"My logic will lead us to Chiro!"
"Kid is acting on instinct and that's my department! I'll find him!"
They both look at the cyborg.
"Hey, tin man! Who was in third-in-command here?" He said.
"Well…I…remember who it was, but…um…" Tyran stammered, trying to remember.
"Well, who is it?" Gibson demanded.
They waited for Tyran's answer until Nova cuts in.
"Are you three gonna talk all day or do something!?" She frowned, "Now, monkeys, mobilize!"
Nova went to her chute to her cockpit before Otto and Tyran follows as Jinmay took a seat to get ready. Sparx and Gibson didn't take their eyes off from each other.
"I'm driving!" Sparx blurted.
A few minutes later, The monkey team and Tyran flew their Robot across the desert to find Chiro.
"Chiro's signal is coming from the zone of wasted years." Sparx said, looking at the radar.
"Region has been the source of many Skeleton King's attack." Gibson explained.
"But why would Chiro be doing way out there?" Tyran asked.
"Chiro's in trouble, isn't he?" Jinmay said, worried.
"Don't worry, we'll find him." Otto assured.
Meanwhile, Chiro was in the river, riding on the log until the vine tendrils sprouted out to grab him. He only swatted couple away until they grabbed him and dragged in the river. The log was left floating on the river surface until Chiro leapt out of the river with whatever strength he has and landed on the tree branch.
He grabbed by a vine, but bite it to cut loose and falls down to grab another branch by his tail and swings over to another tree branch. As he was exhausted from many dangers he comes across, He saw a strange building-structure on top of the tree.
As he goes there to investigate it, the river ripples and ground shook as if something big is coming. The tree was knocked over when Chiro stopped and saw the dinosaur-like ooze monster. It roared when it spotted him, who screeched at the behemoth. The ooze dinosaur took a bite on him, but missed when he dodged it and hopped from branch to branch away from its jaws. The creature looks around and saw Chiro on its back and shrug him off of him before turning around and catching him with its jaws.
Chiro grunted as he pushed its jaws up from being eaten, but the dinosaur jaws is too strong for him to let up before it clamped down.
"Chiro, embrace the Power Primate!"
His eyes is glowing green and bellowed before the ooze dinosaur exploded in ooze. Chiro yelled and falls down on the ooze puddle as he almost retained his partially humanity.
"Antauri…" He said, getting up and continue heading to the building.
He placed his hand on the door and it opened itself as if it still working after past years. As he goes in, he is unaware that he was being watched by something.
Flying through the outland, the Super Robot flew over the desert and landed. The foot door opens for the Hyper force and Jinmay, who stood at the tunnel.
"Chiro's last transmission emitting from this location." Gibson reported.
"I wonder why Chiro went in there." Tyran wondered.
"Then that's where we're going." Otto said.
"What if he comes out and we missed him? Someone's got to wait here." Nova suggested, making them decided who will wait out here.
"I'll do it." Jinmay decided, "I'll stay."
"You sure you're okay by yourself out here?" Tyran said.
"Don't worry, I can take care of myself." She assured.
Otto walked to Jinamy and gave her the commlink.
"Don't worry, Jinmay. You can use this to call us if you need to." He said.
"Thanks, Otto." She said.
"Stay safe, Jinmay." The cyborg said.
"Yeah, you too, guys."
Tyran and monkey team ventured in the tunnel as Jinmay wait outside the tunnel entrance.
"Hurry back, monkey team." She said before squeaked when the piece of paper brushed pass her.
"I'm not so sure about this, Sparx." Gibson said, unsured. "Perhaps we should disengage the Robot and-"
"We don't need the Robot." Sparx said, "We just need me in the lead."
He leads as Gibson is grumped by his smugness until Nova heard something.
"What's that over there?" Nova pointed at the tunnel to her right.
Nova, Tyran, and Otto looked as Gibson and Sparx peered from the corner. They reached the tunnel and sees the jungle as Gibson's scanner is ringing.
"Somebody tell me I'm dreaming." She said, surprised.
"What is this place?" Tyran asked.
"A hidden necrotic jungle world, Tyran." Gibson answered, "And not a dream, Nova, A Skeleton King created nightmare."
"Yeah, and who knows what's crawling around down there? Great!" Sparx remarked.
"So why do you think Chiro came down here?" Otto asked.
"We're gonna find out." He said, "Follow me!"
"Ahem! Sparx, I have the tracker." Gibson said, making Sparx grumped.
He took first in the air, then Nova, Otto, and Tyran, finally Sparx comes last.
Back with Chiro, he stumbles upon the room that looks strangely familiar and covered in cobwebs and dust as if no one lives here for very long time. He unknowingly pressed the button next to him, causing the door to open in front of him and the image of Alchemist appeared. Chiro was taken back a bit by an appearance.
"My time grows increasingly short!"
Heknows him a little from his nightmare.
"So, I fear this will be my last recording." He said, desperately, "I'm making it hopes when I am gone, my life's work will not be forgotten. It was here in my laboratory that I merged primates and human, whom I've found in his terrible accident, with science and magic to create seven cyborg warriors."
Chiro approached the machine next to him.
"This is where my monkey team and cyborg came to be."
He wiped the dust off, revealing a capsule. Chiro remembered the baby monkeys in each one in capsule and a body on the table, covered in sheet and hooked with a machine, in his nightmare. The Alchemist pushed the lever, giving life to the monkeys. Chiro uncovered the dust, shocked that this is where Antauri was in.
"They're my final hope. My last effort to protect the universe from an evil beyond imagination." The Alchemist continued, "Even now, the dark force approaches and I'm helpless to defy the power for I have drawn too close. Soon, the good side of me will be consumed-"
The video is fizzling Alchemist to Skeleton King.
"By the bad!"
The video fizzled back to his human side.
"I beg of you! Remember me, not the creature I've become as a person I was. The person I am!"
The last recording video of him ended as the light shows the spire with archway. Chiro went up the stairs to investigate what it is and when he reach up there, Chiro sees another capsule tube and surrounding it is a machine to operate it. When he uncovers the dust, he sees a metallic skeletal monkey inside it before the video of Alchemist appeared.
"The Sliver Monkey, the pinnacle robot warrior evolution, the perfect fighting machine, but ultimately a failure!" He breathed, heavily as the bookcase opened, revealing the parts for the silver monkey. "For the battle against the evil that requires more than metal parts and computer circuits. It demands living energy, the unleashed Power of the Primate!"
"Antauri…" Chiro grabbed the monkey helmet.
Meanwhile, Tyran and the monkey landed where Chiro and the ooze dinosaur fought.
"Hmm, curious." Gibson hummed, looking at his scanner, "Chiro's path is guided by higher intelligence."
"What higher intelligence, Gibson?" Tyran inquired.
"Well, I do not know who or what, Tyran."
"Looks like he was guided into big trouble." Nova noted, pointing at the ooze dinosaur's remains.
"You know, we did beat Skeleton King." Sparx said, looking on brighter side. "There should be nothing to fear here."
"Yeah, this place ain't so bad." Otto sniffed the flower. "Look at the pretty flower."
While he sniffed the flower, the carnivorous flower opened its maws at him.
"Watch out!" Nova shoved him away, only for her to get caught by a monster flower in its mouth.
Otto was knocked into Tyran.
"Don't move, Nova." Gibson aimed his drill at them.
"You'll hit her! Let me do it!" Sparx cuts in and zapped his Magnet power at the flower monster, but it had no effect.
"Your magnet have no effect on that botanical beast! We need a tactical takedown!"
They soon snatched by another carnivorous flower. Otto and Tyran recovered to see them snared by two flower monsters.
"Swirling Destructo Saw!" Otto threw his chained saw-blades at the flower monsters, cutting them all down and freeing the others.
"Thanks." Nova said.
"I owed you one."
"Okay, new rule: Nobody touches nothing!" Sparx exclaimed. "Now where's your scanner, Gibson?"
"You're standing on it." He frowned, pointing at his scanner on his foot which was smashed.
"So how are we supposed to find Chiro now, brainiac?!"
"Perhaps your sharp instinct could put to use, Sparky!"
"I told you not to call me that!"
Sparx and Gibson glared each other.
"Uh, guys." Otto calls them as he and Tyran found the tracks, "How about we just follow Chiro's footprints?"
"And we know where Chiro is." Tyran added, pointing at the building on top of the tree.
Nova frowned at them before looking at Tyran and Otto.
"You're the best, Otto." She smiled. "You too, Tyran."
"Nah, you're the best." He said.
"Just trying to help." The cyborg added.
Nova took the lead as Gibson and Sparx gave them an annoyed look.
"What?" Otto asked.
"You owe us an answer when we get back." Sparx said to Tyran.
They follow the footprints which it leads to Chiro is. Otto looked backed for a second, having a strange feeling.
"Come on, Otto!" She called, hurried him to catch up.
As they headed there, they were unaware that they're being watched by these skeletal ooze dwellers, who hangs on the tree.
In the lab, The sliver skeleton monkey was placed in hover tube as Chiro pushed the lever, activating the machine to create the silver monkey. One by one, the parts are putting it and equipping it with new version of Ghost Claws.
Outside of the entrance, Tyran and the monkey team enter the building and see something familiar.
"I remember this place from our nightmare." Sparx said, having a Déjà vu. "It's the lab where we were created."
"Yeah, by the Alchemist himself before he turns into Skeleton King." Tyran said, "Looks like we found the piece of our answers."
They heard a monkey screech and it belongs to Chiro.
"Chiro?" Otto said.
They went in to follow the sound as the ooze jungle dwellers is behind them, peering from the door. They ran pass by the tubes where they were created and looked up at the spire before going up to see if Chiro is there. When they get up there, they see Chiro in his half humanoid-monkey state.
"Whoa, calm down, kid." Sparx said, "We're here to help."
"What are you doing?" Nova asked.
"And what is that behind you?" Tyran added, noticed the silver monkey behind him.
"An…Tauri…!" Chiro hooted.
"You're rebuilding Antauri?" Otto asked.
"This is very unnatural. Not to mention, impossible." Gibson said, disbelieved. "Antauri is…no more."
"Yeah, he gave up his life to seal the Dark One's egg." Tyran added.
Chiro hissed and grabbed the silver monkey before ducked to the corner.
"I did bring tranquilizer dart so we should subdue him." He whispered, holding his drill.
"Is that even necessary?" the cyborg questioned.
"We had to; in case he gets away again."
"No, we need backup." Otto suggested, opening his contacting, "Monkey team to Jinmay, come in."
Otto knelt down in front of Chiro and opened the holo-projection of Jinmay.
"Chiro, it's me, Jinmay!"
Chiro was perplexed at first and touched the holo-projection.
"Wow, you have changed." She said, taken back by his appearance. "I don't care, I came back to see you."
Unbeknownst to her, something is creeping towards her while she contacts them.
"Tyran and the monkeys can bring you to me, Chiro." She said as Chiro puts down the silver monkey, "How about it?"
There was a distorted roar from her end and was cut off before Chiro tried grabbing and heard something.
"Uh, having some technical difficulties." Otto chuckled, nervously.
Chiro hugged the silver monkey and cowered in the corner.
"We miss Antauri too, Chiro." Nova said.
"Let's get home, kid, where you belong." Sparx said.
Chiro is reluctant that he couldn't leave without bringing Antauri back.
Suddenly, they heard a low growling sound and coming from the ooze jungle dwellers from above them. The creatures jumps down, surprises them.
"Let 'em have it!" Sparx comes at the creature with magnet hands, but was knocked away to the bookcase.
Gibson flies at the ooze creature with drill hands, but it didn't drill deep enough and the creature slammed him down. Otto jumps at the creature with saw blades, only to get knocked down but managed to cut it down. Nova punched two creatures down, thinking that its taken care of, but failed to notice the other ooze creature is above her and it pounced her. Tyran hacks the creatures down with axe blade while shooting his Optic Lasers at them until he was slashed from behind.
As the creature is about to finish him off, Chiro lunged at it and landed on its head. With all his might, he squeezes its head, crushing it until it reduces to a puddle of ooze. Chiro knelt down to Tyran, seeing if he's okay.
"Hey, I'm okay, kid." He smiled to him as Nova and Otto join in.
"What were those things?" Sparx asked.
"I would speculate some sort of guardian Formless, adapted to this jungle setting." Gibson said.
They heard a growling sound and looked to see more guardian Formless as more has climbed up and walked up the stairs.
"There's too many!" Otto said.
"We're outnumbered!" Tyran said.
Tyran and the monkey team readied their weapons.
"Antauri." Chiro dashed away.
"Chiro, wait!" Nova cried.
The boy grab the silver monkey and puts it back on the table. Chiro pull the lever, making it hover over the machine and push the lever, creating a spark of lighting, hoping to bring it to life.
The guardian Formless are closing in on the monkey team. The Gibson and Sparx fend them as they could but they were all beaten down while Nova, Tyran, and Otto defended themselves as the more creatures keeps coming.
"Chiro, we got to make a run for it!" Nova said.
The creatures pounced on them, detaining them. As the light dies down, the silver monkey falls down as if it didn't live.
"Antauri! Antauri!" He shook the silver monkey, but no avail.
Chiro grimaced as the guardian Formless is closing in on him, who screeched in fury while more of them is swarming the Alchemist's lab.
