Chapter Four: "Enough with the Posing"
For a time, Jason went about doing some more PQ and learned new skills from both that and his mentor.
He even learned the Kaio-Ken. Though, he earned only x3 Kaio-Ken and not x4, like Goku had. It also had a draw back on his stamina with increased blood pressure that he couldn't easily overcome, so he won't use it much.
He also ran into more Cultivar types on the Parallel Quests. The blue variant known as Kaiwareman, the yellow variant known as Kyukonman, the black Variant known as Copymen.
After all that, Jason went back to the Time Nest for his next Time Patrol.
Time Nest
"Hey, Jason", Trunks greets.
"Oh, finally learned my name?", Jason jokingly asks him.
"Heh heh", Trunks laughs nervously while rubbing the back of this head, "Yeah, my bad".
He coughs, "Anyway, I found a scroll where history is distorted. The duo must be at it again", he looks to Jason, "Ready for the Time Patrol?".
"Yeah", Jason says.
Trunks nods, "Then let's go to the Time Vault", and the duo head on into the tree topped building.
They look through the scroll to see the changes were on a different world, Namek. Krillin and Gohan were defeated. Recoome, Burter, Guldo, Jeice, and a body-swapped Vegeta posed as the Ginyu Force. Goku was left all alone against this empowered enemy once more. It was long into the 5-on-1 jumping that the Ginyu within Vegeta changed to Goku. And the jumping continued onto the injured Goku-Vegeta, before being killed by a Kamehameha.
"W-What?", Trunks exclaims in shock, "Father?! Father is Ginyu!", he shakes is head, "No. I mean... Ginyu is father?", he scratches his head in frustrated confusion before calming down.
Leaning over the table on his hands, he looks to Jason, "Sorry... but I need you to deal with my father".
"You got it, Trunks", Jason tells him as he leaves via the Scroll of Eternity.
Age 762, somewhere on Namek
The Ginyu Force were all lined up and sang out their names while taking their poses, including a Ginyu in his own body.
"Gya", Krillin groans in discomfort from beside Gohan, who now had a bowl cut. Who does that to a kid?
Vegeta confidently stares down the henchmen of Frieza, bring a fist before him as he is surrounded by the evil aura, "Haha! I can feel the power!"
Ginyu notes Vegeta's power increase before his Scouter goes off as a bright light descends.
"What?", Krillin asks aloud like it's the first time
Jason lands beside Vegeta. He looks to Krillin and Gohan, seeing the surprised gaze, looking like this is the first time seeing him.
'Is that what she meant by clean up? She has the memories altered to match the true timeline while Time Patrol makes sure the events mostly line up?', Jason thought to himself.
"I'll deal with Vegeta", Ginyu tells his men in the Ginyu Force, "You guys decide who gets the rest... Maybe with rock-paper-scissors".
"Oh, come on, Captain Ginyu!", the red skinned, white hair known as Jeice whines, having an Australian accent for some reason.
"That's no fair!", also whined the small fat green man, which looked to have two sets of eyes, two on the face, one on each side of the head, named Guldo
"Be quiet!", Ginyu silences them, "Guldo! Deliver the Dragon Balls to Lord Frieza! You got that?"
Guldo cowers, "O-Okay", he accepts and leaves to do so.
"The captain seems to be in a bad mood today", the big blue snake-like skinned one know as Burter quietly states.
"Ahhhhhh!", Vegeta yells out as he charges Ginyu while Jason stays back and fires off Ki Blasts.
Ginyu was able to fend off Vegeta but was losing ground.
"W-Woah...! That's insane", Krillin utters in awe at Ginyu's strength, "He's pretty dangerous, but Vegeta is really amazing, too.".
Jason gets in close and melee combos on Ginyu.
"B-But something feels odd...", Gohan adds in as he and Krillin back away to avoid the sights of the Ginyu Force who planned to fight the duo.
Trunks talks through the TP comm, {"Of course I'm worried about my Father... but we have to watch out for Ginyu!"}, he stops in realization, {"No... Ginyu shouldn't be fighting here... This... the distortion in history already happened! I sense something fishy... Be careful!"
After a vicious kick to Ginyu from Jason, Ginyu backs away and looks to him, "Who the heck are you?", he demands, "You got some nerve my friend... to interfere in my fight with Vegeta...", he gets excited, "Alright. I'll fight you all!"
He and Jason rushed each other as Vegeta fires off ki blasts this time. He and Jason melee clash, ech punch and kick hitting the other's punch and kick.
"You may have seemed weak at first... but it turns out... you're actually not", Ginyu remarks as they fight.
"The Captain is really excited for this!", Recoome says from off to the side. He is the only member of the Ginyu Force that looks human. He was as big as Bane or Blockbuster with red hair done in a stupid style and he spoke like a dumbass.
"Alright! So the winner of rock-paper-scissors gets the rest of them!", Jeice excitedly exclaims.
Krillin and Gohan looked to them, ready for a fight.
"Release your power!", Krillin commands of Gohan.
The duo yell out as they release tons of energy from their bodies
"Ho?", Recoome lets out in surprise, having won the game of rock-paper-scissors.
Jason quickly goes to help them as he wasn't confident they could fight their foe on their own.
"Well, this is mighty unexpected", Jeice comments, "Those little ones got a power level over 10,000".
"Heh heh heh", Recoome laughs in excitement, "Now it's getting interesting!"
The trio charge him, with Krillin and Gohan flying around as they fire Ki blasts, Jason gets in close and beats on the big guy.
"Gohan! Remember the image training we did on the spaceship!", Krillin reminds the kid.
"Yeah!", Gohan nods.
The duo rush in and elbow Recoome on each side of his head, disorienting him. Jason comes in and gut punches the guy, sending him flying back.
{"Everyone is stronger... sure"}. Trunks commentates, {"but it'll be hard to take on Ginyu and Recoome. Please protect everyone and defeat the enemy!"}.
Jason rushes Recoome, not wanting to give him anytime to recover, battering him around as he hits him with a Meteor Blow.
"You're all so quick and annoying...", Ginyu growls as he dodges some of Vegeta's onslaught, "like stinking flies!"
"Whoa... Captain really does seem like he's in a bad mood today", Burter says in shock at Ginyu's anger.
Jeice looks to Burter, "Burter, did you eat the last piece of Captain's cake again?"
"I didn't eat it!", Burter angrily yells at the red man, "How many times do I have to tell you it wasn't me!"
"Stinking liar", Jeice retorts.
"I'm not lying!", Burter snakily states.
"AHHH", Ginyu yells in rage.
"Whoa. He really seems mad", Jeice comments.
"So scary...", Bruter agrees.
Jason was getting annoyed by their constant talking. And he takes out his anger on the red haired buffoon before him. He beats and bashes Recoome, going Kaio-Ken with Meteor Blow and Crash, causing his teeth to fall out, before then hitting him head on with an Evil Explosion.
He deactivates Kaio-Ken and looks on as Recoome lays on the ground in only his tattered dark bodysuit that exposed his legs and arms, a lot of his teeth were gone and his hair looking even worst as he lost most of it from the blast.
Jason si tun to see him smile as he gets flips up, showing his ass through the destroyed bodysuit and momentarily blinding Jason, and looks to hm.
"I'm getting bored...", Recoome tells them, "can I end this already?", acting like he wasn't beaten down.
'Power of the stupid I guess', Jason thinks about Recoome.
Recoome smiles and goes through some poses, "Recoome... Ultra... Fighting...", only to get gut checked, "Aga...!"
Goku stood before him with his elbow in the big guy's gut. He backs up and allows Recoome to fall over, defeated.
"Goku!", "Daddy!", Krillin and Gohan respectively yell out at seeing that Goku has arrived on Namek.
Goku looks to the Ginyu force while Ginyu gazes at him.
"Who is that?", Ginyu asks in curiosity at the new Saiyan.
"W-What?", Burter utters.
"D-Dad, you beat him... already...?", Gohan asks his father, as he and the others were having some trouble.
"N-No way...", Krillin utters in awe of the strength Goku shown, "Even though it was a surprise attack...", he tries to deny.
"W-What's going on...?", Jeice asks in disbelief, "Recoome... Recoome is...".
"That attack was supposed to be nothing...", Burter denies.
Vegeta looked on in shock at how easily Goku handled it, "I-It can't be.. How did he...?"
{"Recoome's down in one hit... I knew Goku was amazing!"}, Trunks says to Jason.
"Hmm...", Jason agres, though a little upset he didn't handle it with the same ease, 'Guess I'll have to train more after this'.
"Pretty sure I can stop him", Goku comments on the leader of the Ginyu Force before looking to Krillin and Gohan, "Krillin, Gohan. Use the Dragon Radar... Try to find all the Dragon Balls. My guess, is that they're probably at their spaceship... Don't feel any strong power there... nothing in that direction".
The duo fly off to get the Dragon Balls. Burter and Jeice stay behind though as Jason and Goku are strong, flying down beside their captain. The three remaining members of the Ginyu force look to the Saiyan duo that plan to fight them in rage.
"How dare you!", Ginyu yells at his men as they all Ki fire at the two Saiyans, "hen did I ask for your help?!"
"B-But, Captain!", Burter goes.
"Umm, well, There's like, two of the, too...!", Jeice tries to explain, "B-besides...", but Ginyu cuts him off.
"Fine... no matter...", Ginyu agrees with them, "We will finish this quickly!"
""Right!"", Jeice and Burter agree.
Goku went to fighting Ginyu, since he was the leader, While Jason went to fighting the biggest enemy in Burter and defending from Jeice, who was attacking both Saiyans in parts, acting as support.
Jason was dealing with the so called fastest man, Burter, before Jeice rushes in with a melee assault that Jason blocked.
"Heh heh heh...", Ginyu laughs at Goku
"What are you laughing at?" Goku asks him as they float before each other.
"I like your body...", Ginyu replies as he takes off his Scouter, causing Goku to look at him funny, "Fuhahahaha...!", he takes a wide spread pose, "Change now!", and a purple beam fires out to Goku.
Just then, Jeice got a lucky hit in and sent Jason flying into the path of the beam.
"Oh, no!", Ginyu yells as he switches with Jason
"W-What?", Goku asks in confusion only to be hit with a elbow by Ginyu-Jason.
Jason-Ginyu takes listens to Trunks via the first method of communication from before he had a Scouter, {"I didn't think... that history... would have change like this!"}, he comments before instructing, {"Just keep calm! It's okay! There should be a chance to get back to normal...!"}.
"Ginyu is after Goku's body...", Jason-Ginyu realizes as he joins Goku in the fight against his own body.
"Jeice!", Ginyu-Jason yells at his subordinate
"Y-yes!", Jeice cries out, staying off to the side.
"How dare you do that...!", Ginyu-Jason yells again.
"Excuse me!", Jeice bows in apology.
"They may both be Saiyans, but the potential power is completely different!", Ginyu-Jason states.
"Now that is just insulting!", Jason-Ginyu yells out as he uppercuts his body.
"Something weird is going on here", Goku remarks as he thinks about the situation, "Did you...?"
{"I knew he could do it! Goku figured it out!"}, Trunks commentates.
"I don't understand how, but that Saiyan isn't on my side anymore", Goku says, "All right! Come at me", and rushes Ginyu-Jason.
Jason-Ginyu decides to defeat Jeice in the meantime, waiting for the right opportunity.
"Ugh...", Ginyu-Jason cries out as he defends from the assault, "I can;t find an opening... I must make that body mine...!"
As Jason-Ginyu fights Jeice and the recovered Burter, Goku says to him, "Hey, I want to ask you for something... Can you go with Gohan and Krillin... and go look for the Dragon Balls? Looking like that, you can walk right into their spaceship without any trouble. I think I can trust you, so please!".
{"I see...! That's a great Idea!"}, Trunks thinks on it, {"Alright, let's go to the spaceship!" I am worried about your body, sure... But you know... I'm positive you can do it!"}.
Jason-Ginyu sighs, "If this doesn't all work out...", and flies for the Ginyu/Frieza Force spaceship while Goku clashes with his body.
Ginyu-Jason notices this and goes to gie chase, only for Goku to block his way.
"I'm counting on you!", Goku says to Jason-Ginyu as he flies off.
Jason Ginyu soon arrives before the ship and calmly walks on, only to be greeted by Krillin and Gohan fighting off a swarm of grunts.
Krillin sees him, and panics, "Wait, you're...! Why are you here?", he gets angry, "Hold on. What happened with Goku?!".
Gohan notices the change though, "K-Krillin! Wait! He's... He's different!"
"Huh? What are you talking about, Gohan...?", Krillin asks him.
"He's different! he's the guy we were fighting with earlier!", Gohan tells him
"Huh?!", Krillin exclaims in confusion while Jason-Ginyu fought the grunts with them, "W-What's going on?!".
"Ginyu has a body switching technique", Jason-Ginyu informs, "He's in my body and I'm in his", firing off a Milky Cannon super ki blasts right in the face of the grunts, "I'm stuck using only his techniques save the Body Change he has".
"He switched?!", Krillin questions, "Seriously?!", blocking an attack and firing a quick Kamehameha.
"That means Dad... must have asked you to come help us!", Gohan states, realizing why Jason-Ginyu would have left Goku to come here without his own body.
"You're a nice guy...", Krillin smiles at him before getting serious, "We need 3 more Dragon Balls. And, we have the Dragon Radar so it'll be quick!".
For the next few minutes, Jason-Ginyu went about defeating a few of the grunts on the spaceship with relative ease.
He, Krillin, and Gohan were soon running down the halls with four basketball sized Dragon Ball held by the smaller duo, only to run into Guldo with more grunts.
Guldo looks shocked at the sight of Jason-Ginyu, "Y-You! C-Captain?"
"Oh,no!", Krillin cries out.
"C-Captain?! What brings you here?!", Guldo asks in fear, 'this is bad... Oh no, please don't tell me that the Captain found out the Dragon Balls were stolen! Th-The Captain's gonna punish me!'
Jason-Ginyu was thinking on what to do now, try and act his way out, or just beat the crap out of his enemies. He votes for the later.
"O-Ow!", Guldo cries out before getting a Meteor Blow done on him, "Captain! Why are you attacking me?!", he is beaten into the front cabin of the ship, "D-Damn it!", s his grunts come to protect him, "Raspberry, you take care of them!"
"Y-Yes, sir!", one of the grunts states.
Guldo flies away through the hole in the glass.
"He ran away?!", Krillin asks.
"But we have to gather the Dragon Balls first!", Gohan tells him.
"You're right, but lets take care of this first!", Krillin tells him and joins Jason-Ginyu in the fight against the remainder grunts.
By the end of it, Jason-Ginyu was beyond pissed off at how hard that was in Ginyu's body. In his own, that would have been far easier.
Soon, the trio with the 7 Dragon Balls stood just outside of the ship, ready to make a wish.
Just then, Ginyu-Jason appears from the sky.
"So, what're you doing there buddy?", Ginyu-Jason asks in a casual manner.
"Ugh...", Krillin utters in nervousness.
Goku soon lands there as well, "Hey! Our fight isn't over yet", he says to Ginyu-Jason, taking a stance.
Unseen by the others, Vegeta as hiding behind one of the landing legs of the spaceship, waiting for his chance.
Jason-Ginyu steps past the shorter duo and joins Goku in the fight.
"H-He really... He really switched bodies...", Krillin remarks as Jason-Ginyu and Goku face off against Ginyu-Jason.
Goku looks to Jason-Ginyu, "Looks like you gathered the Dragon Balls! Thanks!", he looks to Ginyu-Jason, "Now we have to defeat him, so you can get your body back!".
The duo rush and bombard the body snatcher with attacks, including Milky Cannon to add insult to injury till Ginyu-Jason had enough.
"T-This time...!", he takes the pose, "Change now!", and goes to fire the beam
{"N-Now"}, Trunks yells to Jason-Ginyu, who's already moving and takes the beam for Goku again, leaving Jason and Ginyu in their own bodies once more.
Jason, though now gravily injured, can't help but excitedly jump in his own body.
"Arg! you again...!", Ginyu angrily cries before Guldo lands beside him.
"Captain!", Guldo looks to Goku, "Kyi!", and fires an attack that freezes Goku.
"Good job, Guldo!", Ginyu cheers and takes the pose, "Change now!".
"N-No!", Goku cries just before the beam hits him.
Ginyu-Goku smiles as he equips his Scouter.
{"Yes! Nice one!"}, Trunks cheers, {"Now it's all back to normal!"}.
Guldo was already being detained by Krillin and Gohan while the others fought Ginyu-Goku.
"Oh no! I-I lost!", Goku-Ginyu cries at his body loss while Jason began to fight Ginyu-Goku back once more, "G-Give me my body back!", as he rushes in to join Jason for the battle.
{"Goku and Ginyu switching places..."}, Trunks mutters in disgust, {"That's how it's supposed to be!" Now... All that's left is to beat Ginyu till he goes to switch again and everything will be back to normal!}.
"Guldo! Don't just stand there! fight!", Ginyu-Goku yells to his last subordinate.
"EEK!", Guldo cried out in fright, "Y-Yes, sir!"
Guldo goes flies in to join the fight, only for Vegeta to appear before him
"Now, I'll be your opponent!", Vegeta declares to the green man with a smile, point his left thumb to himself.
"Vegeta...", Guldo growls, "You're just a stupid monkey and you're nothing but our slave. I'm going to show you just how awesome we are compared to you"
"Hmph. don't get carried away you stupid fool", Vegeta taunts him, waving a hand before his nose, "Your breath. I told you to stop breathing when you're around me"
Guldo gets angrier, "Ugh.. I'll show you whether or not I'm useless!", and charges at Vegeta, who counters.
Jason continued to beat down Ginyu-Goku with Goku-Ginyu while Vegeta annihilates the small pudgy man and he dies. After that, Vegeta joined them in fighting Goku's body, to his great joy.
"Raah!", Vegeta yells as he double fist hammers down on the head of Ginyu-Goku, sending him tumbling down to the ground, "Let's finish this!", and charges forward with a Ki melee, "Die!"
Ginyu-Goku smiles, drawing Goku-Ginyu's attention.
"Change now!", Ginyu-Goku yells.
"There it is!", Goku-Ginyu exclaims and flies forward, "Please make it in time!", and gets hit by the beam instead of Vegeta, who stopped in shock by the attack.
Goku opens his eyes, injured but happy to be in his body once ore, "Finally... it's all back to normal"
"D-Damn it...!", Ginyu exclaims at another failure, he looks to Vegeta, "T-This time!", and poses.
Goku sees an alien frog next to him, "P-Perfect", grabs it.
"Change now!", Ginyu yells.
"I won't let you", Goku yells as he throws the frog in the path of the beam.
Soon after, Ginyu's body gets on all fours and hops away like a frog, which the Ginyu-frog can also only do as he didn't have the ability to speak and use the Body Change skill.
Jason was hiding behind a rock face, watching the events play out for now, though he felt that something was in the distance and goes to it.
"Heh-heh-heh-heh-heh", a woman laughs, "You're pretty sharp", she tells him as he looks to her.
She had blue skin and white hair, pointed ears with black orbed earrings. She wore a red bodysuit with high-heels with a gold amulet on her collar bones, with white and black accents on her outfit with white spikes flowing out form her waist like a dress. She carried a long thin staff with a golden point at the end.
"It must have been you snooping around", she says to him, "I hope you aren't thinking of interfering. That'd be a mistake"
A man walks out from behind her. He had short white hair and a shade darker blue skin. He wore an armored outfit with black cloak coming from his waist in the same colors as her outfit.
"A costly mistake", the man tells Jason, "I will eliminate you here and now", and powers up with a red aura
"Bring it!", Jason accepts the challenge, taking a stance

AN: Whoo-hoo! Next chapter is the first fight with Mira and the rest of the Frieza Saga
The Mira fight might be more detailed than the other fights so far, but I don't know yet.
