Isekai.
Every delusional idiot's fantasy.
How do I know this? That's because I used to dream about something like this before too, but I soon realized how messed up it actually was.
Go off and slay monsters with newfound friends? That sounds great, but what of the people you leave behind? Those that did care about you?
…It's unfair really. Most don't get a choice, I sure as hell didn't. If it were up to me, I would…
"Hachiman…"
…I would…
"Earth to Hachi-"
"What." I move her hand away from my face, slightly annoyed at having my internal monologue interrupted.
"It's time for club, and you've been sitting here since classes ended." Class ended? …I guess it did. How did I not notice?
Getting up and out of my chair, I follow her to my new clubroom. Or rather, I am pulled along by the over excited airhead, similarly to my first day here.
'...Fortunately, I am one of the lucky few who was transported to a non-fantasy world. My life wasn't any diff-No, I'm far from lucky. This meant that I could never return home…That I would be stuck here in some trashy visu-'
"Hachiman! You're doing it again!"
'Hm? Oh. This is definitely not where I just was. My spatial awareness seems to have completely disappeared, why is that?' I was now standing in the Literature Club, with 4 stares all directed at me. One filled with concern, 2 shocked, and the last one was…joyful?
The silence was so thick you could cut it, and cut it I did. "Yo."
"The same as always, aren't you, Hachiman-kun?" She giggles at my refined introduction. 'That's Hikigaya to you, Monika-san.'
"...He actually came back…" Why, yes Pinky. I did come back.
"I must say, I'm quite surprised you came back." You certainly don't show it, Monika-san. "Were you able to talk it over with your club president, Hachiman-kun?"
"Y-Yeah." I wasn't. "I can join the Literature Club, that is, if you still want m-me here…" I can't help but stutter from saying something so out of character.
"Fufufu…" Oi! Don't laugh at me. This is a big step for a guy like me! "Of course you can, I'm sure everyone is pleased to have you. Right everyone?"
"O-Of course."
"Whatever, it's not like I care what you do."
Looking over at Sayori, she has the biggest smile on her face. 'I don't even need an answer from her.'
"Then, I suppose this means you are now a member of the Literature Club." Turning back to the Club President, she holds her hand out to me. 'A handshake? How very un-Japanese of you.'
"Welcome to the Literature Club, Hachiman-kun." Staring at her hand for a moment, I go along with the odd (At least in Japanese culture) exchange.
"Right. So what is it exactly that we do?" Other than that little celebration on Tuesday, I don't particularly know anything about their daily activities.
"Well, this might come as a shock to you, but we often read books." Very funny. "Fufufu, I'm sorry…but in all seriousness, we do actually just read. Most of the time, at least."
"Alright then." Uncaring as to how rude I may be, I find a seat and pull out a light novel I found in my room.
Drowning out everyone else, I read my book without any interruptions.
3rd Person
"Huh. He certainly didn't waste any time." The club president giggles to herself, before turning to the vice president. "And, you certainly didn't waste any time either, pulling him along like that."
"Shh!!! You promised to keep quiet about that!"
"Hehehe…Right, sorry." Monika laughs to herself a bit more, before pulling out a couple papers from her desk. "Sayori? Could you pull up a seat? I think I'll need your help with this."
"Winter festival, I guess they want to know what we're doing? But, shouldn't we be discussing this with everyone?"
"We will, tomorrow. For now, help me with all the other stuff."
The Walk Back Home
Hands in his pockets, and clearly not in the mood for talking, Hachiman is forced to listen to Sayori ramble on about pointless stuff that happened during her day.
"-ouldn't believe it. I mean, how could I?"
"Mhm."
"So I ended up getting a bean paste bun instead. Actually, what did you eat today?"
"Couldn't tell you." He hadn't eaten.
"Oh, come on Hachiman. Why not? It's no-"
"Say, Sayori? What are you going to eat for dinner?" He asks in hopes of getting the attention off him, just because he doesn't want to listen to her, doesn't mean that he wants to talk instead.
"Hmm…I haven't thought about it."
'Of course you haven't, I'm surprised you can even think to begin with.' Shaking his head at such a rude thought, Hachiman takes a turn, away from the direction to their homes. "I'll cook us some curry then. I just need to buy the ingredients."
"Really?! Yay! Hachiman's curry~ Hachiman's curry~..."
"What are you? A child?"
The walk to the nearby supermarket is short, taking less than 5 minutes to arrive there. 'At least this is still the same.' The process of picking up the required ingredients is an almost automatic process for Hachiman, having done so millions of times before for Komachi.
"Hachiman! Hachiman! Let's get some ice cream!"
Turning towards the excitable airhead, Hachiman looks at her as if she had grown a second head. "In this temperature? If you haven't forgotten, we're almost in December."
"So what? You can't say no to ice-cream!" Sighing to himself, he doesn't bother arguing about it. "Get some mint chocolate chip ice-cream, and make it a tub so we can share." Going back to perusing the store, Hachiman and Sayori leave after a couple more minutes.
'Nearly 2500 yen? That's a big hit to my wallet…'
Sobu High, Lunch Break
'Can't say I didn't expect this…' Looking at the events unfolding in front of me, I let out a sigh. Why? Because this is what they call an optional route event.
"H-Hey! Give that back!"
"Or what? You'll tell the teacher? If they find out you have manga, they'll confiscate it." The boy currently messing with Pinky laughs, holding her manga up in the air, completely out of her reach.
'Seriously…What is it with these girls and being bullied by their peers?' Letting out another sigh, I notice how ineffective her attempts at getting her Manga back are. 'Even I can't help but feel bad.'
Walking up from behind him, I snatch it out of his hands. "Parfait Girls, huh. This is a classic." …Komachi, she was the one who introduced me to this series. "Oh, my bad…I just assumed you weren't reading this, since you were waving it around like an idiot."
"What did you call me?!"
"Oi. Hara-san, this a classmate of yours?" She just nods, the confusion clearly evident. "Hm. You kouhai sure have gotten disrespectful lately." I can already think of one very disrespectful kouhai, of the foxy variety.
Realization seems to dawn on him as all color drained from his face. "S-Sorry, Senpai! It won't happen again!" As much as I hate the societal hierarchy in Japanese society, this…I like. Total respect for those above you…until I'm the one who has to suck up to my betters. An eternal loop of love and hate.
"Whatever." Brushing him off, I hand the manga back to its owner. "Here, try not to lose it again."
"D-Did you…Did you mean it?" Throwing a look of confusion of my own, she reiterates. "About Parfait Girls, did you really mean it?"
"Yeah? What about it?"
"...Nevermind." I resist the urge to roll my eyes at the girl. Looking back at her, I notice she's already leaving. 'Seriously..? Wait, why am I complaining?'
Noticing that the other kouhai was still here, I threw him an annoyed look. "Don't you have better things to do?"
"Ah-Right! Good luck, Senpai!"
'Good luck? The hell is he talking about?' Finally alone again, I stare at where I first intended on going. The heavenly spot near the tennis courts, my safe haven.
I promptly turn the other way. Where? Hell if I know.
Club Hall
Standing at the door which pertained to the Service Club, I stared into the unused classroom in silence. The same long table is here, sitting in the center of the room, like always. Yet, the chairs are missing. The club members too, all except for one.
Grabbing a chair from the back, I place it where I always sit. My eyes wander towards the spot where the others usually sit. 'I guess…it isn't so different from when I was back home.'
'...How long do I plan on sitting here?' Sighing, I know the answer to that question already. Indefinitely. Not until someone snaps me out of it. 'So this is how I start my delinquent phase, skipping class by staying in a vacant classroom.'
'It shouldn't be too long before class starts again.' Looking at the clock on the wall, I notice its hands are stuck in place, and probably have been for a long time. '1:08, huh. I'd call it a coincidence, bu-'
"Hachiman-kun?" Snapped out of my thoughts, I look at the door. My new Club president in the flesh. "What are you doing? Class is about to start."
"Is it?" I mumble, looking back at the clock I notice the hands have moved. "I guess so." Standing up and out of the chair, I walk past Monika.
'I guess my time as a delinquent has ended before it could start.' I smile at the stupid thought.
"Ooh, that's rare. It's not everyday you see the Hikigaya Hachiman smiling." I hear from beside me. "Is it because of me?"
"No." I decided to humor her with a response.
"Then, does it have to do with that room?" In a way.
"No." Arriving in front of my classroom door, I look back at her, which gives me a perfect view of everyone else in the halls. Who all seem to have nothing better to do, but watch us.
Opening the door, I close it right after I enter. Finding my seat, I shut out the whole world, leaving them to their gossip.
Hikki! Hikki!
Lifting my head off my arms, I look to my left, where I look into…Sayori's sky blue eyes.
"Hachiman! Finally…I've been calling you for a while, y'know?"
"Hm…" Stretching my arms, I get out of my seat.
"That was some deep sleep you were in, Hachiman. Have you been pulling all nighters again?" Ignoring her, I start making my way to the clubroom. "Hey! Wait for me!"
…
Placing my hand on the door to the Literature Club, I let out a sigh. "Hachiman, is everything alri-" I don't let her finish, opening the door instead.
All eyes seem to land on us, like always. "Ah. Hachiman-kun and Sayori, there you both are."
Monika clears her throat, gaining the attention of everyone. "Everyone, as I'm sure you're all aware, The Winter Festival is fast approaching, and with it comes our own performance. Now, this'll be our first ever performance of any kind, but I'm sure we can do it."
"A-Ano, Monika? W-What is it exactly we're doing?"
"Ehe~, I'm glad you asked. For this year's Winter Festival…
We will be performing in a Play!"
To Be Continued…
Omake 2
Before I start, Part 1 is at the end of Chapter 2, to those wondering. Thank you and enjoy.
"I'd like to make a request."
I almost scoff at the obvious statement. 'No duh. Why else would you b-!' Feeling my toes start to get crushed by an external pressure, I glare towards the one responsible. "Oi!" I quickly pull my foot back, away from the violent bookworm.
"Fufufu, oops." This woman…
"Ahem!" Yukinoshita clears her throat again, her second display of unladylike behavior. "You were saying?"
"Ah. Yes. I'd like some help with setting up a date with my boyfriend." I raised an eyebrow at her request. 'Did she finally move on?'
"...You have a boyfriend, Moni-chan?! Who is he?" I almost envy your ability to get close to people this fast, Yuigahama. Almost.
Monika just giggles as her face blushes lightly. "Is it that surprising? And, you probably don't actually know him."
"If I may, why is it that you require our assistance for this? I'm sure someone as capable as you could manage just fine without us." It's no surprise Yukinoshita knows her rival in rankings, and classmate.
Monika was by all definitions, a genius, so it's unsurprising that she could compete for #1 in student rankings against the great Ice Queen. She was dubbed the 'Book Queen' after all. Despite the tacky sounding name, it wasn't incorrect, she'd always be found reading a book…Most of the time.
Her nervous giggle snaps me back into focus. "…He's always been kind of romantically uninspired, not that I mind it too much…but I still want to feel some affection sometimes, y'know? That's why I set up a date for tonight, all I'm waiting for is his response."
"I see, I can understand where you're coming from. Hikigaya-kun here is also uninspired, but in all forms, not just romance."
"...Why would I want to be romantically inspired with any of you?" Uh-oh…those are some scary glares all directed at me. "N-Nevermind."
"Ahem." Third time now, that's got to be a record. "But where exactly do we come in? It sounds to me as if you have everything set."
"About that…" She looks away in embarrassment.
'Seriously?' I cross my arms in annoyance. 'I just wanted an uneventful valentines day, not this.'
"So?" I ask impatiently. "What do you need help with?"
"Actually, I was hoping for your help specifically, Hachiman-kun." I don't appreciate your use of my first name, Monika. What would your boyfriend say?
"Oh? Why would you need Hiki-useless-kun's help?" Monika slightly recoils at Yukinoshita's name-calling.
"Ah. Well, Hachiman-kun is a boy, yes?" Yep. I have male parts. "I was hoping for some of his opinions on my date spot, but I also need both of your help with the romance… I'm very new to this…" She whispers the last part, but even I heard it.
"I see…" That's quite the distant look, Yukinoshita. She obviously doesn't have much romantic experience, not that it's any surprise, she is the Ice Queen. "Ah. Apologies Hayashi-san. We accept your request."
'We're actually doing this?' I hold back the urge to slam my head against the desk, and let out a sigh instead.
"Oh? Is that a protest, Hikigaya-kun?"
I stared at Monika, who looked back at me with expectant eyes. I unfortunately break after a few seconds. "...No."
Her eyes fill with elation almost instantly at the confirmation of my involvement. '...'
Despite my efforts, Monika decided to sit next to me on the train. The girls sitting on her other side. '...Think of your image, you idiot.' I'm tempted to just stand, but that option doesn't seem like a healthy one, it may lead me to an early death.
"I didn't know you knew Hikki, Moni-chan! How did you two meet?"
"It's not that interesting, we just happened to have a mutual friend."
"Ooh! Do you mean Sayori-chan? I mean, I don't think Hikki has many other friends…" Oi! I have…Damn, she's right. Eh, Sayori is more like a second sister though.
"You know Sayori too? Well, I suppose it only makes sense, considering she is Hachiman-kun's childhood friend."
I don't bother giving them any more attention, staring out the window is incredibly preferable. The sun was still in the sky, but it wouldn't take too long for it to start setting. 'Boyfriend, huh? I guess she's finally gotten over the end of our first year.' My mind is filled with alternatives and suggestions for the request, but it grows increasingly harder as I feel an unwavering stare coming from beside me.
My moment of silence is quickly taken over by a moment of unwanted noise. "I must say Hachiman-kun, I'm hurt. You reject me, but hang around such cute girls?" She whispers to me, the other two none the wiser as they talk about their day.
"...Why would you care? Don't you have a boyfriend?" I say back, throwing her a glance.
Her eyes shine with something akin to…amusement? "Oh, I don't know…How can I trust him to not cheat?"
"Didn't you say he was romantically uninspired? If he's already like that with just one relationship, I doubt he'd want two." It was amusement, because she suddenly burst into giggles, gaining the stares of the two.
"...Y-You make a good point."
'That's great…Now, you can deal with them.' I tune everything out again as I find myself cloud watching.
Outside the Date Spot
"Hachiman-kun, you'll do it won't you?" This woman is a devil in disguise, I guess this is her way of punishing me for leaving her to deal with the two.
'...I should have just skipped club.' Staring into the demon's eyes for a moment longer, I don't find it in me to resist. "Fine, and the money?"
"I'll pay you back for whatever you buy, so don't worry about the price." Is she serious? The fact she hasn't broken eye contact answers that.
"Whatever, what kind of flowers exactly?"
"I'll leave it to you."
'Great. Just great.'
30 Minutes Later
Entering the restaurant with the flowers in hand, I scan the dining area for Monika. Thankfully, the ribbon on her head sticks out like a sore thumb.
"Here." I try handing her the bouquet of flowers, roses to be specific.
"Oh my. Who could have thought that the Hikigaya Hachiman would hand me a bouquet of roses." She giggles to herself, rather cutely, but I wouldn't ever admit to thinking that. "Please, sit down." She takes the flowers, placing them in a vase on the table.
"Your boyfriend should be arriving soon, so I should get going instead." I try denying, but…
"I insist. He's already arrived, after all." Knew it.
Sitting down across from her, I stop myself from exhaling a rather long sigh. Staring at her face, I notice how content she is. "Enjoying yourself?"
"Hehehe, of course."
"And the others?"
"I sent them off, but who knew they were so inexperienced when it came to love? At the very least, I won't have to worry about my boyfriend cheating on me." You sure are talking a lot, from that glass house of yours.
"Is that right?"
"Well, why don't you tell me? Would you?"
I stay silent for a moment, thinking back on today. "...Sayori kissed me today."
Her jovial mood disappeared, in its place a more complicated expression. "Is that right?"
"It was only on the cheek, but it feels so weird."
"Weird? Weird how?"
"Weird as in, I don't know how to feel about my childhood best friend liking me in that way."
"Don't lie to me, Hachiman." She huffs. "You and I both know she's had feelings for you since the beginning of our first year and our time in the Literature Club, who knows how long before that."
"Yeah? And what am I supposed to do?! Break her heart?! Put her back in the state she was in before?! So that I can be the reason she kil-"
SLAP!
Holding my stinging cheek, I look back at the one responsible. Angry tears started to form in her eyes, which were glaring right at me. "Stop being an idiot! You know you have to turn her down, and break her heart. But it won't end there. You're going to stay by her side, whether she likes it or not. You'll make sure it never comes to that. It's your job as her childhood friend."
"...You're right…" Feeling the shame hit me, I looked away. "Listen, I shouldn't have yelled at you. It wasn't your fault, and I just got blinded by all of it. I'm sorry, Monika."
She crosses her arms, with a small pout on her face. "Hmph. Apology accepted." She sighs soon after. "Now, let's get on with the date, before we get kicked out for making a ruckus and not ordering." She waves down a waiter, who looks awfully nervous.
'I shouldn't have let my emotions get the best of me…' Looking down at the menu, I can't seem to concentrate my eyes on the words written.
"A-And, you? What would you like, sir?"
'Damn.' Turning to Monika, I notice her concerned stare. "I…I'll have what she's having."
"Yes, of course. Your food will be ready in a couple minutes." With the waiter gone, Monika reaches across the table, placing her hand on mine. "You don't have to bear all of those burdens by yourself, Hachiman…You know this."
'...No, I shouldn't. But they're not yours to bear either.' Feeling a small amount of hysteria, I let out a chuckle. "Burdens? What are you talking about?"
"Hachiman. Please. Can't you tell me?"
"I'd rather not, and didn't you say we should focus on our "date"? Speaking of, when did you change out of your uniform?" Gone was her usual Sobu High uniform, and in its place was a black sweater and what I believe is a dark blue pleated skirt.
"...Why? Do you like it?"
"If I say yes, will you still pay for my food?"
"Isn't it the man's job to pay for the date?"
"Maybe, but I don't follow such societal norms. I am a firm believer of true modern day equality, in fact, i'm such an avid supporter that I plan on being a househusb-"
"A househusband. Yes, you've made it very clear. Oh, and you can't forget, 'to work is to lose'." The unimpressed look on her face…it hurts. "Hachiman, I know that asking you to change might be asking for too much, but please, try to actually think about your future."
"...I have. On the high chance that I don't end up marrying some well off woman, I was thinking of being a writer." I reveal, not surprised by her shock.
"R-Really? Is it because of-"
"Yes it's because of that." I confirm it, before she can say something incredibly embarrassing, only known by us.
"Hehehe…Thank you, Hachiman." She smiles, leaving me speechless. "I shouldn't ask you to change, but I know that if you let such bad habits fester for too long…Well, it usually doesn't end well."
"N-No, it's fine…" Fake coughing into my fist, I change the subject before my blush can further redden. "How is the Literature Club?"
"We've been great. We're still missing one member who ran away though." She says, to which I knew who she was referring to.
"I'll be sure to let them know."
"Oh? Is that right?"
"It is. In fact, I think they'll consider it once they're done with what they're committed to. Just before their third year."
"Wonderful, that way you can see Yuri off."
"Me? I'm sure you have me mistaken for someone else." She just rolls her eyes instead.
"Speaking of, all these Valentine chocolates and cookies in your bag. Are they yours? Or is it also someone else's?" She puts a bag, my bag onto the table, revealing its contents as well.
"...They must be really popular, the f-filthy riajuu." I say with a small hint of nervousness.
"I don't mind it, as long as it doesn't go any further than this. Well, since it isn't yours we can just throw it away, right?" She grins evilly, pulling it away.
I place my hand on the bag. "It'd be a shame if we were to throw it away. How about I eat it all instead? After all, you're vegan right? So, no animal based products for you."
"Vegetarian." She corrects. "You can be quite stubborn, you know that?" She finally let's go.
Hugging my bag close to me, I almost start crying from joy. 'Free food…Thank you gods above for protecting all my free food.'
"By the way, Yukinoshita-san slipped a bag of her own into it while you were out getting flowers." Did she now…
'Yup. That is an additional baggie of goodies.'
"Aren't you going to give me something?" I ask, not really expecting anything.
"How shameless. I'm already buying you dinner, and you still want more? …Patience, Hachiman. Good things come to those who wait."
"Ahem. Apologies for the wait, here is your food." Two identical plates are set in front of us. 'That is…a salad.'
"Vegetarian, remember? You should have thought about your order a little more."
'Too many vegetables…' Despite our earlier conversation, I ended up paying for our meals. By my own volition, and it wasn't like we ordered a full course meal, so it was relatively cheap.
I hear Monika shakily say something. "T-This is my stop." Now at the train station, I look at her with slight curiosity. The expression on her face isn't something that can be explained with a few words.
Looking over at the train's arrival time, I notice it isn't until a few more minutes. "I'll wait for the train with you."
"You don't ha-"
"My answer hasn't changed..."
"...You can be so cruel, Hachiman-kun." Looking away, I make sure not to say anything else. "I suppose this always meant to happen. Wasn't it?" I give her a nod in confirmation.
She doesn't say anything else, as we both sit in silence. It doesn't take long for the train to arrive. "I guess that's it. Thank you for giving in to my selfish desires, goodbye Hikigaya." I watch as she walks away to the train, probably for the last time.
In a moment of uncharacteristic recklessness, I call out her name. "Monika!" The tear stained face that looks back at me…it makes me freeze up.
"1 minute until departure."
'…It's now or never.' I had already gotten this far, why not go all in?
"Yet! My answer hasn't changed yet!"
I yelled, gathering the attention of others, but I didn't care.
Seeing Monika's green eyes shine like emeralds as she smiled happily removed any and all worries I may have had. "Hehehe…I'll hold you to that. See you soon, Hachi-kun!" As the doors close, I see her wave at me. I wave back as the train leaves.
Feeling my phone vibrate for the first time today, I notice the sender is the same person I just basically confessed to.
Monika
I forgot about a gift, so here's something for your eyes only.
Just beneath the text is an image of Monika, blowing a kiss at the camera.
Monika
I'll be waiting for you.
'…I think I can die happy now.'
Monika
Just don't forget about White Day.
'...Crap.'
The End..?
Decided to combine both Chapter 3 and Omake 2, because why not? Also, Chapter 4 is in progress…even if it is at snail's pace.
Also, when I said chapter 3 had little reception I meant little constructive feedback. I don't want you all to review just so you can suck up to me, and thinking about it now, I realize chapter 3 probably wasn't as bad as I thought…I guess I am my own worst critic.
The author notes after these ones are all from the old chapters, so disregard.
Omake 2 Notes
…I am in no way suggesting a sequel to this sequel…Nope not at all, unless?
I had fun writing this. I hope you had fun reading. Other than that, I noticed chapter 3 had little reception. Oof. Definitely a drop in…quality, I guess? That sucks, but it was definitely a weaker chapter. Ah, but don't worry, Chapter 4 will be a banger…probably.
Now, onto this Omake. If it's as well received as the first part, I might make a white day chapter. Maybe. I'm obviously working on the actual chapters so these will take longer. So don't expect me to be throwing out Omakes every update.
Monika…was refreshing to write. Don't know why though. Loved the ending too.
I don't have much else to say though. So review answering time.
MeetraSurik8 - Thanks. I too believe Harem would be cheap in this story. It could work, but it isn't where I'm taking this story.
Soulbow109 - Yeah…A play seemed like a better option, but that doesn't mean everyone will be participating in the play. More on that in the next chapter. Also, a very embarrassed Yuri performing on a stage sounds cute but will also lead to a horrible outcome.
G0dz1llex - …Oi. Just because it's true doesn't mean you have to say it.
KlabOriz - The thing is…Romance is a key part of this story, yes. But this is also about Hachiman's journey to being genuine with himself and others, not just romantically. Also, in my eyes, Harem just doesn't sound Genuine.
That doesn't include the mental gymnastics I would have to go through to make all the Dokis and Hachiman accept a Harem outcome and make it sound believable.
Now, In the previous version of TGR I promised different routes once I was done with this. Has that changed? No. Will it take years for that to happen? Let's hope not.
That wraps up answering my faithful readers' reviews. Like I said, not much of a response for the last chapter.
Chapter 3 Notes
Last updated April 10th? Wait…what day is it? May…25th?! Oh Shit! Oops…
So…Hey guys. This wasn't the longest I've taken to update, but it sure felt like it. Thank Christ I didn't promise weekly updates.
Most of the days I didn't even work on this, I was actually busy with school and…finals. UGH!
But, I'll TRY not to take too long with chapter 4. Big ol' emphasis on try.
No poems. Yep. It might have worked on the Horror game called Doki Doki Literature Club, but it doesn't translate too well with a written story.
Said festival was already hinted at in chapter one, but I just confirmed it now. Oh, and it's not until 3 or so weeks from now in the story.
So 21-ish individual days to give all the girls some development…Great.
For now though?
Responding to any reviews left behind by the kind reviewers.
One to Seven - I'll probably say this a lot but, thanks. I appreciate that some people don't think that I'm an awful writer.
puzahx2 - A standalone fic for the Omake? Nah, how about a part 2 in the near future instead?
BigSmokeYeet - I'll try to.
Completely Normal - Like I said, part 2 maybe?
MeetraSurik8 - Thanks. Yeah it was not easy. I'm worried about writing characters OOC-like, since I want people to actually enjoy this story. Yeah, maybe he was too quick in accepting it, but I also didn't want to drag out the scene either… Hachiman seeing Sayori as a 2nd Komachi will probably happen again, lol. I know, the pov changes sucked. I toned it down a little this chapter. I would rewrite the 2nd chapter, but I'd rather write something new than rewrite the same thing. Pan-san is an otherworldly being, he is everywhere. Always watching, ALWAYS.
And, the Omake…is probably…maybe… definitely getting a second part. And I too believe that Sayori x Hachiman is adorable.
Not that I'm confirming what will happen later in the story. Nor denying anything either. Well other than Harem, I am denying that. So don't ask me about it! That goes for everyone, I'm not singling you out, it just happened on the original and it'll probably happen again.
Saif Omar - Was it? Thank gosh…
bluecookie420 - Thanks. Sooner? Ah, you mean take my time, right?
Bluecookie420 - Hold on a second, didn't I just…Whatever.
Ego inflated. Written perfectly, of course it was! Joking aside, I appreciate your kind words. Isshiki is not that close to Hachiman actually. This is just because Hachiman was helping her become the StuCo president before all of this happened.
…I'm seriously starting to debate whether I should make another fic called. Books and Loners, starring our favorite Loner and a certain Literature Club.
Soulbow109 - Thanks and Thanks. So this is what it's like to be showered with praise. Nice. Not much else to say.
As for the Omake…Damn it, I might actually drop part 2 soon.
G0dz1llex - This confirms it. I have been bullied into making a part 2 to the Valentine Omake.
That's it for now though…Please let me know if you find any spelling mistakes, grammar mistakes, or missing words and I'll be sure to correct them.
Thank you all, and I'll be seeing you all.
Buh-Bye!
