Chapter 5.6: Secchan's Memories
Mr and Mrs. Goshikida. I remember the day when I first awoken when you programmed me. I wasn't capable of feeling any emotions or even think for myself, but you still treated me with kindness and respect. A simple bot like me who was originally programmed to only give heroes information about what they need to know, but you still treated me as one of your own. When you upgraded my system to become more sentient, I was so grateful. It was my first time ever knowing what "gratefulness" felt! It made me so…happy. I am so honored that the two of you trusted me to inform Kaito and the bots what you've planned for them in the future. The day after we had to hide in the basement, something told me that it was going to be the last time I would see the two of you again. I didn't want to believe it, but when the news broke out confirming your death I felt so alone. So sad, as if a part of me was missing. I wanted the four of us to be together forever, but instead I was trapped inside of a basement waiting for my siblings to become sentient just like me. It's not fair that you two left me alone for all those years, why did you two had to die! Please, come back home Mama and Papa…
Suddenly, Secchan opened his eyes as tears were running down his face before hearing Kaito's voice calling his name.
Secchan: Y-Yes Kaito, I'm here!
Kaito: Secchan, did you know that Mom and Dad were still alive?! Why didn't you tell us?!
From what Kaito said, Secchan's eyes widened before yelling "HUH" as he flapped his wings.
This has to be a dream, right? Am I still dreaming? If anyone is out there, did they just grant my wish? This can't be, I'm so…I'm so…happy.
