Rumors were spreading that the mayor's house was haunted, and some weren't having it.
'Like seriously?! Just because that mayor hasn't been around in a while doesn't mean that her house is haunted!' Sly exclaimed.
'Well you never know! Mira says there's been weird noises coming from the house, and she doesn't know what they could be!' Derwin replied.
'Oh brother. Okay, let's settle this once and for all! Tomorrow, we go inside that house and prove it's not haunted!'
The next day turned out to be 1 of those all day rainy days, which added to the spooky factor.
'See! Just another empty house.' Sly said after they walked in.
Then they heard a crash, and then smoke came out of the other room, and then a 'ooohhh' sound…
Both guys ran out of the house screaming.
'Ooohh! Man, I really need to learn how to bake cakes already!' The mayor muttered.
