We all might be scattered... but our friends are all doing their parts, in different parts of the world.
We're gonna keep fighting for what's right, and we're not giving up!
Sailor Moon and Sailor Venus faced off with the fake Mimete and the fake Viluy.
"What are you clowns doing here?!" Sailor Moon demanded.
"Sorry, but we can't let you go any further, my frenemies." Mimete said.
"It ends here for you, I'm sorry to say." Viluy added.
"No way! We don't have time to be fighting with these fakers! We have to get out of here and rescue the kidnapped children!" Sailor Moon said.
"I know the plan, okay? But just-"
"Tuxedo LA Smoking Bomber!" Came a male voice, cutting Sailor Venus off, followed by an explosion.
Sailor Moon and Venus looked and saw Tuxedo Mask standing in the room, facing a big hole in the wall that he created with the attack.
"Tuxedo Mask?" Sailor Moon said.
"Nice shot." Venus nods, knowing it was Tuxedo Mask who made the hole in the wall. She then glared at Mimete and Viluy. "You guys go on ahead."
"Huh?" Sailor Moon said as she looked in Venus. "But we-"
"Just leave these two to me." Sailor Venus insisted.
"Venus." Sailor Moon said.
"Are you saying you're going to face us all by yourself?" Mimete asked.
"You might wanna re-think that, blondy." Viluy warned.
"I'm actually only fighting you so Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask can go and find the kids. Are you sure you're not just afraid to face off against me?" Venus said.
"Are we afraid?" Mimete asked.
"Hahahaha!" Viluy laughed. "You sure are a funny girl. Okay. If you insist, we'll fight you. But don't go crying to your Mommy when you end up regretting your decision."
That last sentence was like a knife in Sailor Venus's heart. For she had not seen her parents since the Sixth seal disaster, and she had no way of knowing if either one of them had survived. And if they were dead, she had no way of knowing if they were in Heaven or Hell. She wished she knew if both of her parents were still alive so she could go crying to both of them with joy and embrace them with a hug. But that wasn't going to happen. And she knew it wasn't. It was down to her to take care of herself now like the Sailor Guardian she was. She quickly pushed down her sad emotions. This was not the time or place for that.
"You're the ones who are gonna regret it." She said before looking at Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask. "Hey, don't just stand there. Get going."
"Right." Tuxedo Mask said before looking at Sailor Moon. "Let's go, Sailor Moon."
"Be careful, Venus." Sailor Moon said before she and Tuxedo Mask took off through the hole.
Monday morning in Illinois, by lunchtime Janie was not back yet. Mark and Conrad go look for her. They searched the woods first. When Phoenix lost her trail, they headed toward town on the motorcycle. Conrad knew it was dangerous anytime the kids got near other people. If the authorities knew the kids lived alone in the country, the GC social services would be after them. The fact that most of the kids believed the message of Tsion Ben-Judah and that they housed a wanted Morale Monitor and an escaped prisoner made Conrad feel queasy.
Mark stopped as they neared the town. Something in the road caught Conrad's eye. "That's a person!"
Mark hid the cycle in some brush. "They must have been trying to find firewood or food during the freeze."
Conrad shook his head. The sight and smell of the body in the road was awful. H counted five people and several animals alongside the road as they walked into to Conrad gave Janie's description to a mechanic at a gas station. The man shook his head but said he'd watch for her. Conrad turned a corner onto the main street and saw Janie a block away, talking with a woman. Mark pulled him back quickly. A GC squad car passed on another street.
"We have to get to her before they do," Mark said.
Conrad raced to Janie and pulled her into a nearby alley. Mark kept watch for the GC. The woman with Janie stood near the street, crying. She was holding something under a blanket.
"What's the big idea?" Janie said.
"I can't believe you'd be this stupid!" Mark said.
"I had to get out for a little while," Janie said. "I needed a smoke like you wouldn't believe.'
"You didn't see the GC?" Conrad said.
"They're here?" Janie said.
"A squad car just passed a block away before we got here," Conrad said. "Come back to the school."
"I can't leave her," Janie said, pointing toward the woman. The woman was pale and had long, stringy hair. Her ragged clothes hung on her, and the quilt she carried was filled with holes.
"Lenore," Janie said, "these are two of my friends I was telling you about."
"What?" Mark said. "You told her—"
"She needs a place to stay," Janie said.
"Are you nuts?" Mark said.
"I told her how nice you guys were," Janie said. "Other than the religious stuff, it's okay. Plus there's plenty of food."
"I don't believe this," Mark said.
The woman, sobbing still, put a hand on Mark's arm. "Please, let me come with you. We have nothing. My husband went to find food last week. . . ." Her voice trailed, and she put a hand to her face and wept. "She found his body this morning," Janie whispered.
"What do you mean, we?" Mark said. "Is there somebody else with you?"
Conrad put a hand on Mark's arm and pointed to the edge of the quilt. Sticking out was a tiny, still hand.
"That's her baby," Janie said.
Conrad gasped, his blood felt like ice. "Is it .. . is it dead?"
Lenore pulled the quilt back, showing the baby's face. It was a boy, his tiny hand holding tight to a button on his mother's shirt.
Conrad moved closer and noticed the child's chest rising and falling. He sighed with relief. "I thought he was dead."
"This is Tolan," Lenore said weakly. "He's all I have left."
"I'll help her," Mark said. "There must be some kind of shelter around here. You and Conrad get to the motorcycle."
Janie shook her head. "I'm not leaving her. I'm supposed to do unto others and all that, right? I mean, what if I don't help this lady and her baby dies? You think God would let me into heaven with that on my conscience?"
"It doesn't work that way," Conrad said. "God doesn't let you in because of the good things you do—" "I don't care what you say," Janie said, "I'm not leaving her."
A car approached. Mark pulled the group behind a huge Dumpster. A GC squad car drove by slowly. When it was gone, Lenore turned to them and whispered, "I won't be a bother. I promise to work for any food we eat. The place this girl told me about sounds wonderful. Please."
They agreed to let Lenore and Tolan come with them to the schoolhouse with Janey, the latter who refused to listen to the truth claiming the group to be narrow-minded. Where were Rei, Hotaru and Makoto when they were needed?
By nightfall outside the school house, a motorcycle revved. Vicki dropped the dishcloth and rushed out. She stared as Mark and an unfamiliar lady stepped off. When the motor died, she heard a baby cry. Vicki didn't ask questions. Instead, she told Shelly to fix up a room downstairs. Darrion made dinner for their guest. Vicki told Charlie to come up with a crib.
"It's okay," the woman said, "he can sleep with me."
"I'll try anyway," Charlie said.
"Please," the woman said, "don't go to any trouble. I'm just glad to have a place to stay tonight."
"Do you have family?" Vicki said. The woman began to explain but couldn't continue. She clutched the baby and sobbed. "It's okay," Vicki said. "We'll get you some-thing to eat and you can rest."
Mark explained what had happened in town. "We're ahead of Janie and Conrad by a few minutes."
Vicki nodded. "We have to figure out what to do with Janie."
Vicki had a stern word with Janey about her leaving and becoming a moving target. Not long after, she found out the woman, Lenore Barker had lost her husband to the freezing temperatures lying in the street a few blocks from the Barker house. It was enough to send the mother into despair and nearly commit something drastic to herself and the baby, however Janey talked her out of it.
Vicki offered the mother for her and her child to stay as long as they liked.
Sailor Venus re-focused on Mimete and Viluy.
"I think that's our cue." Mimete said.
"I think you're right." Viluy agreed.
"Disguises off!" Mimete and Viluy said before transforming into two bestial woman-like creatures, revealing their true selves.
The infernal creature that had once been the fake Mimete reminded Venus of Koan quite a bit, minus the different colored features and the cat tail. She had long curly blue hair that went past her shoulders and stopped at her lower back, with the top of her hair in the shape of cat ears, gray skin and purple eyes. She wore blue lipstick, blue round ear-rings, a pale blue long sleeve button-up upward-striped shirt, long sharp glitter blue finger-nails, a short blue spikey tutu, pale blue pinstriped stockings that covered her whole legs, blue high heel shoes, and a blue cat tail with a blue ball at the end that had sharp blue spikes.
The other who had once been fake Viluy was a wolf/woman-like creature. She had the slim figure of a woman, her body was covered with light brown fur, a big bushy light brown tail, she had wheat brown curly shoulder-length hair and brown eyes, with light brown wolf ears on top of her head, and her nosed was black. She wore red lipstick, glitter blue eye-shadow, a purple/pink one-shoulder short sleeve shirt, with the left side revealing her shoulder, with a pink heart design on her chest, long white gloves that stopped at her elbows with pink trims and long white sharp finger-nails, a blue-jean mini-skirt and white calf-length high heel boots with pink trims.
"I was wondering when you'd drop the Witches 5 act. Who are you?" Sailor Venus said.
"I'm Catra." Said the cat/woman-like creature in a Columbian accent, introducing herself.
"And I am Wolfina." Added the wolf/woman-like creature in a deep sultry female's voice.
"And you are Sailor Venus, one of the last beings from the silver millennium." Catra said.
"Now that we all know each other, let's hurry up and get this show on the road. Because we have to finish you off quickly." Wolfina said.
"Then we've gotta catch up with those other two trespassers." Catra added.
"Finish me off quickly? Is that right?" Venus asked.
"Well, yeah. I mean, you're weak...you know?" Wolfina said.
"Rrrrr!" Venus growled, gritting her teeth.
"You see, unlike the fight at Camp One World, we have decided to face off against you in our real forms here." Catra explained.
"So that makes us unpredictable and even stronger than we were when we were impersonate'n two of your past defeated foes. You've never fought against one of us on your own, much less two of us, have you? So there's no way you can beat us." Wolfina added, boasting and taunting.
"Rrrrr!" Venus growled. That was true, she had never face one of the dark forces on her own, much less two of them, but she knew it was bound to happen eventually, and now she had to deal with it. "Let's find out!" She said. "Crescent Beam!" She said, firing her attack.
"Blue Fire!" Catra said, firing blue fire out of both of her hands.
"Psybeam!" Wolfina said, firing the attack.
Two Knowles doors split into two, sliding open, and Mars and Saturn entered inside a futuristic high-tech room, with Cole standing at the doorway, followed by the doors closing, locking Cole out.
"What is this place?" Sailor Saturn asked.
"I don't think it's where they're keeping the other kids." Mars said. "Is it, Cole?" She asked as she looked behind, only to see that Cole was no longer with her and Saturn. "Cole?" She said. "Cole?" She said as she and Saturn turned around.
"He's gone." Saturn said.
"Hahahaha!" Came two laughing female voices.
"Huh?" Mars and Saturn said as they turned and looked forward, followed by the fake Kaolinite and the fake Eugeal appearing in the room.
"It's you!" Mars said.
"Hahahahaha!" Kaolinite laughed. "Looks like today is our lucky day."
"I can't believe you and the other Guardians actually came here of your own free will." Eugeal said.
"The way you fought against us at Camp One World was beautiful." Kaolinite said.
"Oh, dear Mars and Saturn, with you as our opponents, I'm sure we could make fast work of you." Eugeal said.
"Who are you anyway?!" Mars demanded, wanting to know these fakers' real identities. It had been gnawing at her since the ordeal in Canada at Camp One World.
"Oh, how pathetic." Kaolinite said. "If you aren't able to figure out who we really are by now after all that's happened in the world these last two years, young Asian girl...that's just sad."
"Yeah. You're really lacking in the smarts department, as well as the fashion one." Eugeal added.
Sailor Mars gasped. "Like I care what you two think!" She said angrily.
"Calm down." Sailor Saturn said, looking at Mars. "They may look like two of our past defeated foes, but be careful. They're a lot more dangerous than they appear to be."
"So today really is our lucky day after all." Kaolinite said.
"Yes, it is. Now we can make these two our opponents and also enjoy watching the agony of their defeat while we fight them." Eugeal added.
"So you wanna fight us, do you?" Saturn asked.
"Oh, yeah. You see, the rest of the Sailor Guardians are just common unrefined types." Kaolinite said.
"Who aren't worth us wasting our powers on. Clowns like Sailor Moon and Venus. Not to mention Mercury the water girl." Eugeal added.
"None of them possess any strong qualities at all. They aren't fit to be opponents for us. However, you, my dear Mars and Saturn, would be the perfect ones for us to go up against." Kaolinite explained.
"That's enough! If you wanna fight us, then we accept!" Sailor Saturn yelled.
"Hm-hm. That's just wonderful. I've been waiting for a fight like this one." Kaolinite said.
Sailor Saturn glared at Kaolinite and thought about how unbearably cruel she was to her when she was a little girl. Now she had the chance to pay her back for all of that abuse. Of course she knew this wasn't the real Kaolinite, but...it was enough. "I've been waiting too! And I'm not afraid of you anymore!"
"Saturn!" Mars gasped.
"Tough talk. We'll see how long that last." Kaolinite said.
"Yes, we shall. Now then...let's get this show on the road, shall we?" Eugeal said.
"Your move." Saturn said.
However, Kaolinite and Eugeal didn't respond.
"Hel-lo?" Saturn said.
No reply.
"Last chance, then we attack." Sailor Saturn warned.
"I'm taking your silence as a forfeit. Not that I blame you. I'd quit too if I was up against myself and Mars. You're using the exact same tactics you and your friends used the first time we fought against you at Camp One World. In fact, you've almost made the same moves. What is your end game, Kaolinite? You're a lot of things, but predictable isn't one of them." Saturn said.
"I just haven't been myself these days. In fact..." Kaolinite paused. "I mean that quite literally." She said in an old female voice.
"Huh? What's going on?" Mars asked.
"Surprise." Eugeal said in a seductive female voice.
The fake Kaolinite and the fake Eugeal transformed into their real forms, which were that of an old witch and a bat/woman-like creature.
The old witch who had once been the fake Kaolinite had green skin, brown eyes, and black hair in a bun. She wore a black witch-hat with a long black veil, a long black long sleeve dress that went down to the floor, black high heel boots, a long black cape that went down to the floor and was red on the inside, she had long sharp green finger-nails, and she held a wand in her right hand.
The bat/woman who had once been Eugeal had white shoulders-length hair with white bat-ears on top of her head, blue eyes, glitter blue eyeshadow, pink lipstick, a purple/pale purple-striped tube-top with pale purple feathered trims around the top and the bottom, long white gloves that stopped at her elbows, with pale purple feathered trims, and long white sharp finger-nails, black bat wings, gray leggings with black leopard spot designs, and black calf-length high heel boots.
"I've waited for this day a long time, Sailor Guardians." The witch said.
"As have I." The bat/woman creature added.
"So you finally decided to drop the charade, huh?" Sailor Mars glowered.
"A fine imitation, wouldn't you say?" The witch said in Kaolinite's voice.
"Could-a fooled me." The bat/woman creature said in Eugeal's voice.
"Identify yourselves." Sailor Saturn ordered.
"The name would be Grimalkin, Saturn girl." said the witch, introducing herself in her old natural voice.
"And I'm Olitiau. Now let's fight." Said the bat/woman creature in her natural voice.
"I thought you'd never say so." Mars said.
"Here we go." Grimalkin said.
"Wait for it." Olitiau said.
"Backwards from 3." Grimalkin said.
"Very well. 3!" Mars began.
"2!" Saturn said.
"1!" Olitiau said.
"Let's fight!" Grimalkin said.
"Fire Soul!" Mars said, firing her attack.
"Saturn Shadow Ball!" Sailor Saturn said, firing her attacks with her staff.
Grimalkin then fired a green laser attack with her wand.
"Super Sonic Scream!" Olitiau said. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAHH!" She screamed, firing her attack from her mouth.
"Okay, you guys, we're ready." said Joey, kneeling on his left knee in front of the other kids, who were all sitting on the grassy ground of the jungle, minus Reese, who was standing a few feet from Joey, as well as Sailor Mercury, Jupiter and the Starlights standing behind the kids. Joey, the other kids, and both Senshi units were all dirty after setting some traps throughout the jungle and were now going over their plan of retaliation against the bad guys. "Does everyone understand their part?"
"Yeah." Everyone said.
"Any questions?" Joey asked.
"No." Everyone answered.
"Okay. Let's do it." Joey said before standing up.
"Hey, Copper..." Reese began as he walked up to Joey, who turned to face him. "maybe i was wrong about you before. Maybe you're not so useless after all. I mean...what I'm trying to say is...it's a good idea."
"Thanks, Reese." Joey said.
Sailor Mercury, Jupiter and the Starlights all smiled at the moment between Reese and Joey.
With all that said, Joey took off running to put his plan into motion, with Mercury and Jupiter following.
"Bye, Joey! Bye, Mercury and Jupiter!" Everyone said, waving goodbye.
Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask ran down a hallway, then the Pretty Moon Guardian stopped in her tracks, having an un-easy feeling come over her.
"Mars? Saturn?" Sailor Moon asked as she looked back.
Tuxedo Mask stopped running and jogged. "What?" He asked as he looked at the Moon Princess. "What is it, Sailor Moon?"
"I got an uneasy feeling...just now...about Mars and Saturn." Sailor Moon said.
"Uh...say what?" Tuxedo Mask asked, and he stopped jogging.
"Nothing. Don't worry about it." Sailor Moon assured. "Let's go, Tuxedo Mask." She said as she ran on ahead.
"Uh..." Tuxedo Mask began. "Ugh!" He said, rubbing the back of his head with his right hand. "What was that about?" He asked as he ran after Sailor Moon.
"Mars...Saturn...be safe. Venus, you got to win. I believe in you." Sailor Moon thought to herself as she and Tuxedo Mask ran down the hall.
All of the kids were lined up in rows in another room, with Leon Fortunato standing before them, and they waited to hear what Carpathia's right hand man had to say.
"When I was a child, I spoke as a child...I understood as a child...I thought as a child...but when I became a man...I put away childish things"." Leon said, quoting 1st Corinthians 13:11. ""Those words never meant more to me than they do right now...looking...at all of you. Our hope...our future...the best and brightest version of who we are and what we're fighting for." He explained. "Our intelligence...tells us the aliens are attacking the island right now as I speak. Another assault on the new world. Why they are doing this...we do not know. If they are successful with their plans for this planet...there will be no more attacks...no more conflicts. Humanity as we know it will be wiped from the face of the Earth. Now… I shall tell you some things I know. This is our world. It is our home. They will not over-run it! They will not possess it! So with whatever time we have left...you will learn to think, speak, move and fight like the spies you are. Let the weight of our loss fuel you. Let the weight of our dead embold you. Let the weight of our hope drive you to victory! Can you do that?!"
The kids didn't say anything.
"Spy Kids! Can you do that?!" Leon shouted.
"Sir, yes sir!" The kids all shouted.
"CAN YOU DO THAT?!" Leon yelled.
"SIR, YES SIR!" The kids shouted louder.
Leon smiled evilly. "Good."
In the jungle at a camp-site with several tents set up, 10-year old Sarah Twix sat on a long log by the fire-pit with rocks around it. She had light brown hair in a pony-tail with a pink bow in it, her eyes were brown, and she wore a long sleeve white shirt, black calf-length pants-like shorts, and black hiking-boots.
Bobby, carrying a few sticks, walked over to the fire-pit and bent down and began putting the sticks in the pit so he could start to fire. He hand brown hair in a man-bun, a brown beard, and brown eyes.
Hasan, carrying a long stick, walked over to where Sarah was sitting, stopping a few feet from her. He had white hair, brown eyes, a black goatee, he was heavy-set, and he wore a green camo-hat. "Hahahaha!" He laughed. "Some friends you have. The minute they can, they get up and leave you behind without a thought. That's why I work with my brothers. Loyalty."
Hasan and Bobby were brothers. He was the older sibling and Bobby was the younger one.
"My friends are loyal, and they're loyal because they choose to be. You forced Bobby into it with threats. That's not loyalty, that's fear." Sarah said.
"Hahahaha!" Hasan laughed. "Loyalty...fear...what's the difference?"
"There is a difference, Hasan!" Came a male voice, making Hasan, Bobby and Sarah look around for the source. Joey then jump down from the tree behind a trio, who turned to face him. "And I'm here to prove it."
"Joey?" Sarah said, glad to see him.
"Who on Earth are you? What are you doing here?" Hasan asked.
"I'm Joey Copper, and I'm your downfall." Joey said, with his hands on his hips.
"Hahahaha!" Hasan laughed.
"And he's not alone!" came a female voice.
"Huh?" Hasan said as he, Bobby and Sarah looked in another direction to see Sailor Mercury and Jupiter.
"Fieldtrips are supposed to be a time for learning and education for children! How dare you turn that experience into a nightmare by kidnapping them!" Sailor Mercury lectured.
"Abducting a bus load of kids is against the law and is punishable by prison time!" Jupiter said.
"On, behalf of education!" Mercury said.
"And on behalf of love and Heaven!" Jupiter added.
"I am Sailor Mercury!"
"And I am Sailor Jupiter!"
"And by the will of the most high..." Mercury began.
"You will be judged!" Mercury and Jupiter said.
"And two of the alien skirts have to come to his rescue. How pathetic. Is this some kind of joke?" Hasan rolled his eyes.
"Do you see us laughing?" Sailor Jupiter asked, with a serious look on her face.
"We've come for Sarah. Give her up and we promise not to tell the police anything." Joey said.
"If I don't?" Hasan asked.
"Then you'll have to face the consequences." Joey said.
"That's right! And those consequences are us!" Jupiter said.
"Surrender now or else!" Mercury added.
"You and these skirts got a lot of nerve, kid." Hasan said. "Bobby...grab the girl by the neck. If the rest of them kids or alien skirts come...she get's it. And if you mess this one up, little brother...I kill you."
"What?!" Mercury gasped.
"Little brother?!" Jupiter gasped. These two men were brothers? And the older one just threatened to kill younger one if he messed up? What in the world?
Bobby grabbed Sarah as he stood up, wrapping his right arm around her neck.
"Bobby!" Sarah cried.
"I'm sorry, Sarah." Bobby apologized.
"Ready or not, here I come." Hasan said.
Joey then took off running through the jungle and Hasan chased after him.
"Let's help." Mercury said to Jupiter.
"Right." Jupiter said, nodding.
Sailor Mercury and Jupiter disappeared in flashes of blue and green lights. There were advantages to the Eternal upgrades.
"Moon Princess Halation!" Sailor Moon said, firing the scepter's attack at another group of male GC grunts in front of her and Tuxedo Mask, destroying their guns.
"Tuxedo La Smoking Bomber!" Tuxedo Mask said, firing his attack at the rest of the GC grunts, destroying their guns as well.
"AAAHHH!" The GC grunts screamed in terror before running off, passing Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask.
Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask panted, trying to catch their breath.
"Okay. Sailor Moon." Tuxedo Mask said.
"Uh...yeah?" Sailor Moon asked.
The Japanese teen super-hero and the masked guy in the tux then looked forward and saw two double-doors up ahead. "That's gotta be it. That must be where the GC are keeping all the other children." Tuxedo Mask said.
"We finally found it. Hang on, kids!" Sailor Moon said before she and Tuxedo Mask ran off towards the double-doors up ahead.
In the castle's control-room, the surveillance screen displayed a screen of Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask running towards the double-doors.
"Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask have passed through area B-8. They are heading the double-doors that lead to the hallways of the class-rooms." said a female employee.
"What is the status of our operation update?" Mio asked.
"New Island's mobile position is in good condition. It's flying abilities are 100-percent stable." Another female employee answered.
"Perfect. Open a channel to the public now." Mio said.
At the adult Trib-Force's place, Rayford, Chloe and Hattie sat on the sofa, watching Mio on the News as she made her announcement.
"Citizens of the new world, good day to you. After seeing an entire island lift itself into the sky, you know that the New World Religion is the most impressive one the world has ever known." said Mio on-screen.
At the kids Trib-Force's school hideout, Vicki and the others were gathered around the TV, watching Mio on the News, Melinda, Janey and newcomers Lenore with baby Tolan included.
"I am pleased to be receiving a flood of likes and subscribers from those all over the globe who wish to be a part of the New World Religion." Mio said.
At a restaurant in Israel, Lionel, Nada, Sam, and Jamal sat at a table, watching Mio's broadcast on the News with everyone else in the place. Dr. Rosenzweig watched from his living room in both surprise and derision.
"However, the full power of the New World Religion has yet to be revealed to the people of the new Earth." Mio said.
On the plane to Africa, Judd, Mr. Stein and the other passengers were watching Mio's announcement on the flat screen TV.
"In order to encourage even more people to join the New World Religion, I have decided that it would be best to perform one grand demonstration." Mio explained.
"Great. What's she up to this time?" Judd said.
"Nothing good, I'm afraid." Mr. Stein said.
At the command center, everyone was still gathered around the control-panel, now viewing Mio's broadcast to the entire world on the mid-screen as the scene displayed an island.
"In a single instant, this deserted island will disappear off the map of New Zealand. Please trust me, this is going to happen." Mio said.
"She's going to blow up an island?" Ikuko asked.
"Why would she do such a thing?" Mayumi wondered. "Is this another scheme?"
Back in the castle's control-room...
"Spiritual people are spiritual people. We must show them that we truly run a religion worth being a part of." Mio said.
Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask pushed the double-doors open, entering inside the hallway, with doors down the hall on both sides that led to the class-rooms.
"Okay. This is the floor of the class-room. The kids have got to be in here somewhere." Tuxedo Mask said.
"Right." Sailor Moon said before she and Tuxedo Mask ran off in different directions, with her going right and him going left.
Sailor Moon opened one of the doors, turned on the lights, and looked inside one of the class-rooms, only to find that no one was inside. "Nope. Not here."
Tuxedo Mask opened a class-room door, turned the lights on, but found no one in it either. "No."
Sailor Moon opened another class-room door, turned the lights on, but found no one it as well. "Nope."
Tuxedo Mask opened another class-room door, turned the lights on, and got the same result: No one was in it. "They're not in here either."
"Well..." Sailor Moon began as she and Tuxedo Mask ran up to each other. "they're not in any of the class-rooms."
"Well, where could they be?" Tuxedo Mask asked, referring to the other kids.
"Look!" Sailor Moon said, pointing at something.
Tuxedo Mask looked in the directions Sailor Moon was pointing and saw two more double-doors up ahead.
"Let's check it out." Tuxedo Mask said.
"Okay." Sailor Moon said.
Tuxedo Mask and Sailor Moon ran down the rest of the hall, up to the double-doors and pushed them open, rushing inside a dark room on the other side.
"What's with this place? Why's it so dark?" Tuxedo Masked asked.
The lights then came on, revealing all of the kids standing in front of them, holding machine guns and facing Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask. She even saw several Asian teens among them, which meant these had to be the Japanese children the GC snatched from their homes in Tokyo when they took Shingo.
"This is where they're keeping all of the other children?" Tuxedo Mask asked.
"Kids! Hang on, you guys, we'll get you out of here, I promise!" Sailor Moon assured.
The kids then aimed their guns at Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask...ready to fire.
Soon Judd and Me. Stein had reached their destination: Mali, officially the Republic of Mali, is a landlocked country in West Africa. Mali is the eighth-largest country in Africa, with an area of over 1,240,000 square kilometres.
There they met with a pilot named Immen, who would take them aboard a small plane to their intended destination. He too was a believer and had a dream that showed a multitude of native nomads who moved about the country with their flocks and herds. Then he dreamt of Judd and Mr. Stein, a voice telling him to find them.
The pilot followed a river through the parched land. Judd wondered how the freezing temperatures had affected the desert. A few hours later they landed on a private airstrip, where a friend of Immen's waited. The man greeted Judd and Mr. Stein. He spoke in an African language to Immen, then opened the doors to his home. "We'll rest here a few hours until sunset," Immen said. Judd fell into bed and was asleep immediately.
When he awoke, Immen's friend had prepared a meal. When they were finished, the man led them outside to his Land Rover. "Take," the man said. Mr. Stein hugged the man, and they were off.
As they made their way across the rough roads and places where there were no roads, Immen explained. "Many people died from the effects of the cold. My friend told me where he thinks the tribe is staying.
"Do you know their dialect?" Judd said.
"A few words." Immen said. "No one knows their language completely. They have kept to themselves. A few years ago I heard that some of them left the tribe. A few even became Christians. But most remain isolated."
"How did you become a believer?" Judd said. Immen smiled. "By listening to and reading Tsion Ben-Judah."
Immen drove the Land Rover into the night. Sometime after midnight, they bounced along a dry creek bed, then rose straight up over a sand dune. Immen stopped and pointed. "Down there."
Judd gasped. In the moonlight Judd saw hundreds of campfires. Tents filled the valley, and thousands of dark-skinned people lay sleeping. Goats and camels were tied up at the edge of the camp. Someone blew a horn, and people shouted and rushed out of their tents. 'they ran to the center of the village, then headed toward the vehicle. Some carried long, pointed sticks and waved them over their heads. Judd panicked. "Are we in trouble?"
Immen gunned the engine and raced toward the people. "Not if this is where God wants you to be."
Back in the jungle, Joey ran as fast as his legs could carry him as Hasan gave chase from behind.
"AAHH!" Joey screamed as he ran. The 9-year old looked back a split-second a couple of times to see if Hasan was chasing him, and sure enough he was. "AAHH!"
Hasan, being heavy-set, got tired and stopped to catch his breath. "You're dead meat, Copper." He said before he resumed chasing after the 9-year old boy.
Joey kept running through the rainforest and Hasan kept pursuing him. "AAAAAAHHHH! AAAAAAAAHHHH!" He screamed while running faster. "AAAAAAAHHHHH!"
Hasan stopped again to catch his breath. Joey stopped in his tracks and turned to face Hasan. "What's the matter, Hasan? Can't you keep up?"
"AAAHHHHHH!" Hasan screamed as he resumed pursuit, with Joey resuming his run.
Sailor Mercury then stuck her head out of some jungle brush realized that was her cue. "Shine Aqua Illusion!" She said as she fired the attack, with it hitting the ground under Hasan, freezing it making her way past Hasan, and going to join Joey. Hasan got to his and resumed the chase.
In the castle's control-room, Mio stood up from her rolling-chair behind her desk. "Now then...before the demonstration begins, we must settle things." She said. "New Island, release."
She said as she turned and went over to the knobless door. She placed her right hand on the scanner, it scanned it, and the door slid open sideways and she exited the room. It was time for her to catch up with her old high school friend...Usagi Tsukino.
Sailor Jupiter, hiding behind a tree poked her head out and saw that Hasan was chasing Joey and Mercury. "Jupiter Grass Knot!" She said, firing the new attack, with the grass snaring Hasan and tripping him, making him fall face-first onto the grass-covered ground. "Take that, you kidnapper!" She said before running out from behind the tree to join Joey and Mercury, getting Hasan's attention as she did. Hasan quickly stood up and resumed chase. He soon tripped over a vine and fell forward once again.
"Yes!" crowed the 10-year old boy from the group of kids, hiding in a grassy ditch while holding the end of the vine Hasan has tripped over. The boy then dropped the vine, got out of the ditch, and ran past Hasan.
"Rrrrrrrr!" Hasan growled. "I hate kids. And girls." He said before he got up and resumed his chase.
"AAAAAAHHHH!" Joey screamed as he, Mercury and Jupiter ran through the jungle.
Hasan soon stopped again to catch his breath. "I'm gonna get all you brats and both of you skirts!"
Joey, Mercury and Jupiter stopped in their tracks and looked back at Hasan. "Oh, no you're not." He said before he and the Senshi duo resumed running. Having now caught some of his breath, Hasan started chasing after the trio again.
Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask eyed the kids who were pointing their guns at them.
"Kids! Kids! Kids!" Sailor Moon said. "Hey, come on! Can't you hear me?!"
"What do you want?!" One of them demanded.
"I'm Sailor Moon! The champion of justice! Are you alright?"
"The champion?" A 13-year old America boy asked, confused.
"Of justice?" A 14-year old girl asked, making a bewildered face.
"What's wrong?! Don't you know who I am?!" Sailor Moon asked.
"Yes, we do. You're one of those moon aliens that's been attacking the world these last two years! Starting with the disappearances prior!" A 15-year old boy answered.
"No, that's not true!" Sailor Moon said.
"You are the enemy! And nothing you say will convince us otherwise!" snapped a 16-year old girl.
"No! Kids! You don't understand!" Sailor Moon said.
"They won't listen, no matter what you say." Came a male voice.
Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask looked to the left to see Leon Fortunato.
"Fortunato!" Sailor Moon said. She was alarmed for a moment, then remembered he doesn't know she's the same clumsy girl whose body spray broke apart and sprayed the entire area, when he'd visited her school.
"Why are you doing this?! Why are you, Mio and the Global Community taking these children from their homes, bringing them here and manipulating them into doing your dirty work?! This isn't what the media presented to the public at regarding the New World Religion all! This is nothing but false advertisement!" Tuxedo Mask demanded.
"Through the New World Religion's spiritual educations and the GC's experimentations, these young ones have been reborn as the perfect children." Leon explained as he walked out in front of the kids. "Yes, their spirits and their minds." He said as he turned to face Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask.
"What?!" Sailor Moon gasped. So the people on this island weren't just lying to these kids, they were experimenting on them like lab-rats. They were brainwashing them. "You're...a despicable person! How could you this to these kids?!"
"We don't harm any of them. There are countless parents who would love to have the perfect well behaved child." Leon said.
"Trying to make these kids perfect would surely harm them all." Sailor Moon said.
"There's no such thing as the perfect child, nobody's perfect! Not even you!" Tuxedo Mask remarked.
"Well, that's your opinion. And anyway, we've already fulfilled to all of these youths' parents." Leon said.
"Huh?" Sailor Moon asked.
"All of these children were able to get new healthy spirits and minds by undergoing the educations and arrangements. For them...this was the very best thing. Honestly, it was. Because they were rebellious, orphans, street urchins, runaways or in dysfunctional or violent homes or group homes...they hold a special quality and strength." Leon explained.
"What?! Don't tell me...This was the New World Religion's true intentions for these kids all along!" Sailor Moon understood, horrified. So that was how the GC was able to get all of these kids. They targeted the ones who were rebellious towards their parents or were orphans or street kids or runaways or in unstable homes or group homes. Looking back at Lionel's situation with his fake relative, it all made sense now. The Washington boy fell under the orphan category, since both of his parents were among the millions of people who were raptured.
"So what if it was, Miss Moon? But fear not. None of these children are in any danger. You see, all of the GC camps are the same as any normal summer camp. We have it all. Bunk cabins, cafeteria lodge, hiking, camp-outs, swimming, canoes, camp-fires, weenie/marshmallow roasts scary stories, etc." Leon said.
"That's very thoughtful of you!" Tuxedo Mask said sarcastically.
"And sneaky!" Sailor Moon added.
Of course. They designed the camps as summer camps and ran it as such in order to gain the kids' confidence and trust while all the while manipulating them into believing the world leader's alien invasion delusion regarding her and the Senshi and that the believers were the bad guys.
"Well...even many of the adult GC soldiers were able to become important test subjects that helped to perfect the arrangements. Aren't you glad the adults of the new world system could be that useful to these children?" Leon said.
"No! You used them in order to turn these kids into mindless zombies!" Sailor Moon snapped.
"Don't get your meatball hairbuns in a bunch. In order to help their children be perfect, their parents sent them here. They cooperated fully from the start to the finish. Just look. Exactly as the GC promised, the New World Religion has cured these children of their rebellious bad seediness, as well as helped those who were orphans, street kids, runaways, in unstable homes and group homes. You should really be thanking me, you know." Leon said.
"Huh?!" Sailor Moon said.
"Thank you?! For changing these kids like you did?! Undo this brainwashing trick of yours right now!" Tuxedo Mask yelled.
"I'm afraid you're in no position to make demands, Mr. Tuxedo. Look before you. You and Miss Moon are both out-numbered...as you can see." Leon explained.
Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask just glared at Leon. How were they going to resolve this situation without harming the any of the kids?
Back in Africa, Judd and his travelling companions found themselves surrounded by the natives. They shouted and chanted, some with spears held high. Finally they were brought to the middle of the camp.
Mr. Stein, Immen, and Judd were forced to sit before a small table. The leader stared at them, then whipped a cloth away, revealing several plates of food. Flies were all over the meat. Judd was handed something warm to drink. He took a sip and nearly gagged. Immen sat forward and spoke to the leader. The leader replied and Immen asked a question. The leader answered for almost a minute. "I told him you come in peace and in the name of God," Immen said, "and he said something about a movement of their people. For some reason they've been brought together." The meal lasted until daybreak. Finally Immen turned to Mr. Stein and said, 'They are waiting for some kind of message from the Great Spirit who caused the freeze.' Mr. Stein whispered, Have them come outside and gather round the Land Rover." Mr. Stein led Judd through the sea of people. Some were teenagers. They followed him, touching his clothes and chanting something.
A few minutes later the leader of the people approached the vehicle. He blew into an animal horn. The people crowded dose. Judd figured there must be at least five thou-sand people. The leader raised his voice and shouted something. Mr. Stein looked at Immen.
"He has introduced you as someone who knows God," Immen said. "I will do my best to translate."
Mr. Stein raised his voice. "Hear the word of the Lord, the maker of the universe, the creator of every living thing."
Before Immen could speak, the people fell to the ground. Even the leader of the group was on his knees.
"Why are you speaking in my language?" Immen said, his eyes wide.
'I'm speaking English," Mr. Stein said.
As the people fearfully whimpered on the ground, Judd understood. "We're all hearing in our own language. It's just like the witnesses, Eli and Moishe. Tell them something else."
Mr. Stein seemed overwhelmed at the thought that these people were hearing their language supernaturally. He composed himself and said, "Please, stand."
Immediately the entire group stood as one. Judd shook his head. Mr. Stein had been right again. God had worked a miracle to get them there and another after they had arrived.
"There is one God and Creator," Mr. Stein continued, "and he has sent me to tell you he loves you." As Mr. Stein talked, people looked at each other in amazement. Mr. Stein explained that Jesus, the Son of God, had died as a sacrifice for the bad things people had done. If any-one would come to Jesus and ask forgiveness, God would come into that person's life. Mr. Stein held up his Bible. The people inched forward, trying to get a look at it. Mr. Stein quoted several verses from Romans that showed that everyone had sinned and that the payment for sin was death and separation from God forever. The people gasped.
"But," Mr. Stein said, "the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus. You will live forever with God if you ask him to forgive you and become your leader.' Many of the natives wept when they heard of the dreadful way Jesus had died. The leader of the people stepped forward, tears streaming down his cheeks. Mr. Stein led the people in a prayer.
Judd couldn't understand anything anyone said except Mr. Stein. When Mr. Stein finished, the leader of the group climbed onto the Land Rover and hugged him. The people clucked their tongues and cheered. The leader called for quiet and asked a question. Mr. Stein looked at Immen. 'I think" Immen said after a moment, "he said some-thing about their enemy."
"What enemy?" Mr. Stein said.
"There have been many tribal wars throughout the years," Immen said. "People have been killed over a few missing animals. I believe he wants you to give the message to them." Mr. Stein smiled. "It is proof that they understood my words. We will go wherever God leads us."
Hasan chased after Joey, Mercury and Jupiter as they ran under a vine tide to a tree, the Senshi duo ducking, and he ran into the vine, his legs fell out from under him, and he fell on the ground.
"Have a nice trip!" Joey said as he, Mercury and Jupiter looked back a split-second.
"Hahahaha!" Mercury and Jupiter laughed.
Hasan sat up. "Copper...you're dead." He said before standing back up and resuming chase once again.
"Fireballs!" Grimalkin said, firing multiple fireballs.
"Air Cutter!" Olitiau said, firing the attack.
Both attacks hit Mars and Saturn, who's outfits were now tattered from all the attacks they had taken from the fallen duo during battle, knocking them on the floor.
"Ohhhhh." Mars and Saturn groaned in pain.
"Ahahahaha!" Grimalkin cackled. "Why don't we finish them off right now? What do you say?"
"Let's add the finishing touches." Olitiau said.
"With pleasure." Grimalkin said. "Maleficius!" She said, firing the attack with her twisted wand.
"Venoshock!" Olitiau said, firing her attack.
Sailor Mars and Saturn laid on the floor, unable to move as the attacks came their way. Both attacks hit the Senshi duo, exploding on impact.
"Victory is ours!" Grimalkin said excitedly.
"So fine!" Olitiau added, also excited.
"Beautiful!" Grimalkin said.
"We're done here. This fight is won. The fall of two of the Sailor Guardians of Earth, isn't that sweet? We've finished them." Olitiau said.
"Don't count on it!" snapped the voice of Mars.
"Huh?" The two wicked beings said, confused. The smoke then cleared, revealing Mars and Saturn, glowing red and purple, standing up and glaring at the fallen duo.
"We're not gonna lose here! Not to you!" Mars said.
"Or to the New World Religion!" Saturn added.
"What?!" Grimalkin gasped.
"Are you still resisting?!" Olitiau said in shock.
"We're using all of our powers we put into defeating our previous enemies against you!" Mars said.
"What, huh?!" Grimalkin said, shocked.
"Final showdown, you two!" Sailor Saturn said. "Saturn Planet Attack!" She said, firing the purple glowing light around her.
"AAHH!" Grimalkin and Olitiau screamed as the attack came towards them and impacted them, exploding. When the explosion cleared, the fallen duo were now battered and their clothes were tattered.
"AAHH!" Look what you've done to this new outfit!" Olitiau screamed, looking at her now tattered clothes.
"Hurry, finish it, Sailor Mars!" Saturn said.
"Right." Sailor Mars said. She then began twirling around in slow motion, forming a new fire attack. "Mars...Phoenix...Incineration!" A large fiery Phoenix bird formed in front of the fire Senshi and screeched as it flew toward the fallen duo.
"What are you doing with that?!" Grimalkin gasped.
"AAHH!" Olitiau screamed as she turned to fly off, only for the Phoenix to hit her and Grimalkin, exploding on impact, followed by another explosion soon after.
Sailor Mars and Saturn stopped glowing red and purple. Some of the smoke soon cleared, revealing two puddles of ashes on the floor where Grimalkin and Olitiau once stood.
"Hm. So much for water being a witch's only weakness." Mars said.
The entrance door to the room exploded, getting Mars and Saturn's attention, and Cole, a battered Sailor Uranus, obviously the one responsible for blowing the door open, and Jake rushed inside.
"Hey, you guys!" Cole said as he, Uranus and Jake ran up to the Senshi duo.
"Are you okay?" Sailor Uranus asked.
"We're fine. We're just finishing things up here." Saturn said.
Cole then looked past the Senshi duo and noticed the two puddles of ashes on the floor. "Golly. What happened in here?"
"Nothing we couldn't handle." Mars assured.
"You guys, look!" Jake said, pointing.
Sailor Mars and Saturn turned to see that the rest of the smoke had cleared, revealing a hole made where another big metal knobless door had been earlier.
"A way out!" Saturn said.
"That must've been the other explosion we heard. My new attack must've blown a hole into the exit." Mars theorized.
"New attack? What are you talking about?" Cole asked, confused.
"I'll explain later." Mars said.
"Well, let's keep moving." Uranus said.
"Right." The other said before they all ran towards the big hole, exiting the room.
"Shadow Claw!" Wolfina said, firing her attack.
"Thunder Shock!" Catra said, firing her attack also.
The attacks made their way toward their target: Sailor Venus.
"AAAHHHH!" Sailor Venus screamed as she was sent flying back onto the floor, with her outfit now tattered from all of the attacks she had taken from the fallen duo.
"Hahahaha!" Wolfina and Catra laughed.
"The next one'll finish it." Wolfina said.
"This time we'll send you to Heaven personally." Catra added.
Venus glared at the fallen female creatures before standing up. "You know, I didn't wanna waste this attack on someone like the two of you. But I'm gonna make an exception."
"No matter what you do, it's useless." Wolfina said. "Poison Powder!" She said, firing the attack.
"Aura Beam!" Catra said, firing her attack.
"Huh!" Venus said. "Crescent Beam Shower!" She said, firing the attack at the other two, destroying them.
"I was hopin' that you'd try somethin' new." Wolfina said.
"Don't you remember that that move didn't make a difference last time?" Catra asked.
"I'm not done!" Venus said. "AAAAAAHHHH!" She screamed before she started glowing orange.
"Huh?!" Wolfina and Catra said.
"Venus Planet Attack!" Venus said, firing the orange glowing light at Wolfina and Catra.
"AAAAAAHHHH!" Wolfina and Catra screamed as the attack came their way, exploding on impact. The smoke soon cleared, revealing the fallen duo, with their clothes now tattered from the attack.
"Here we go!" Venus said. "Venus..." She began before winking, and a sword appeared in front of her, followed by grabbing it. "Wink Chain Sword!" She shouted as the sword firing it's attack at the fallen duo, which was that of orange beaded chains.
"Not this time!" Wolfina said. "Let's finish her!" She said, looking at Catra.
"Let's." Catra agreed.
"Acid!" Wolfina said, firing her attack.
"Ice Shard!" Catra said, firing her attack as well.
Both attacks collided with Venus' and the attack of the Senshi over-powered the attacks of the fallen duo.
"Oh, no!" Wolfina and Catra gasped.
The attack made it's way toward the fallen duo, with the orange chains binding them both.
"Oh, no." Wolfina said, stunned.
"How can this be?" Catra asked, also stunned.
"If two of my comrades could win against you, there's no way I'd lose to you." Venus said.
"I don't get it! I don't get it! I just don't get it!" Wolfina said.
"Me either!" Catra added.
The attack Wolfina and Catra were bound up in then exploded, killing both of them.
"Huh!" Venus' sword disappeared. "As long as you choose to remain in the dark...you won't get it."
The big metal door then exploded, getting Venus' attention, and Ruby and Sailor Neptune, with her outfit tattered, rushed inside. Neptune had obviously blown the door open with an attack.
"Ruby! Neptune!" Venus said.
"Venus!" Neptune said as she and Ruby ran up to the Guardian of love and beauty. "Are you alright?" She asked, looking at Venus' tattered outfit.
"Yeah, I'm fine." Venus assured. "You?" She asked, eyeing Neptune's tattered outfit.
"It looks worse than it feels, but. I'll live." Neptune stated.
"Whoa, you're a mess. What happened to you?" Ruby said, looking at Venus' tattered outfit.
"Don't ask." Venus said.
Neptune looked past Venus and noticed the burning remains of the explosion. "What'd we miss?"
"Oh, you know, the usual in this New World. More of the fallen at work. But don't worry, I took care of them." Venus explained.
"I see that." Neptune said.
"Okay. Don't ask...don't tell." Ruby said.
"Come on. Let's go find Sailor Moon." Venus said before she, Ruby and Neptune ran through the hole in the wall created by Tuxedo Mask earlier, off to find him and Sailor Moon.
To be continued…
