Chapter 4 – "Miss you Mother!"

Ines woke up the next day. She knew Luke would not be happy and the fact that he decided to sleep in the kids room instead and didn't say a word to her the all day, she knew he was really upset.

Sighing, she got out of the bed and left the bedroom to find the farm really silence and empty. Not even R2 was around.

Walking around she noticed his speeder was not in the farm. Did he left? That's when she saw a note in the dining room table.

"Went to Anchorhead and then going to meet some friends in Tosche Station. There is food in the kitchen. I will only return later on before dinner.

Luke."

"Great. What would I do here all day by myself." she said. Maybe she should pack her bags and go to Boba's Palace and ask to stay there. But she also didn't to bother anyone else with her problems.

The day went by slowly. The sky was blue but as the type went by the skies became a little cloudy.

Sitting on the stairs of the dining room, she looked at the bracelet that was similar to her mothers and that Luke gave to her on Life Day. How much she missed her mother and how much she want to talk to her right now. She knew she would always have the right advices. She always has. She remembered the last time they spend an afternoon just the two of them.

2 months BBY

Alli looked at her 18 years old daughter, who was taking a sip of her tea and smiled, which made Ines noticed that.

"What?"

"Oh nothing, I just remember when you were a little girl how hard I had to drag you with me, to come to this place and have tea and food with me!"

Ines giggled. Since she was 6 years old, her mother made sure that they spend at least twice a year, a good time together in this tea store, where mothers, daughter and granddaughters get together to have tea, and eat so pastries and sandwiches. It look okay, the problem was the store was a fancy one, which meant, they had to wear dresses and that was something that Alli knew her daughter always tried to avoid.

"Well you know why!"

"I know, but you always came and now you don't make a tantrum!"

"Mother, you know the food here is delicious. And… well I kind started to enjoy these moments between us. It is cool!" Ines smile, making Alli smiled too.

"That's because you are getting older. And trust me, someday you will do this with your daughter, just like we are doing and how like your grandmother did to me!"

Ines looked at her mother.

"If I ever have a daughter, or kids. Or even a husband," she spoke making Ines hold her daughter's left hand.

"Of course you will."

"How do you know?"

"Because I'm your mother and we know these things," Alli said making Ines glare at her, which made her giggle.

"Really?"

"Okay, you know my honest answer?" Alli asked making Ines nod. "Because you've become this beautiful, intelligent and strong young woman, that only a blind guy can't see. And I'm not saying this because I'm your mother, I'm saying this as a woman too. You will make a great wife and mother. That's I know in my heart!"

Ines smiled at that thought.

"But who will ever look at me and want me as his wife!" Ines said looking at her plate.

"Well I thought you already choose the guy since you were 10. Am I wrong?"

Ines looked back at her mother.

"I thought it was only in my imagination!"

"Well, maybe it is not. Maybe that blond hair and blue eyes boy is out there and you two will be together. One thing I know for sure, I would love to meet him and I would love to see you at your wedding day. You would make a beautiful bride and he will be a very lucky guy. And my grandkids will be so cute."

Ines laughed at that.

"Or I would be the lucky one!"

"Both will be lucky. And then we will be doing this with your kids. Even if you two wont live here. Cause maybe you will have to move to Coruscant. But we can visit you and you can visit us!"

Ines frown at that.

"You are talking like you are sure that will happen!"

"Call mother intuition!" Alli laughed making Ines laughed too.

"Well even if it will happen, I hope I would have a marriage like you and father's. A perfect one!"

Alli looked at her daughter.

"Perfect? Who told you that our marriage is perfect. There is not such think as perfect marriage, not even mine!"

"What are you talking about? Dan, Edmar and I never saw you two angry at each other or yell at each other or anything like that!"

"That doesn't mean we have a perfect marriage. We had our fights, trust me."

"You and father, fighting? But we never noticed that. You two seem always so sweet around each other!"

Alli smiled warmly at Ines.

"My sweet daughter, that's because we talk after that. We have our fights and you will have yours with your husband too. But first that doesn't mean we don't love each other."

"Then how you to handle those situations?" Ines asked her.

"Like I said, we talk after the we calm down. That's what a married couple needs to do: talk. And never feel ashamed to say sorry if you know you were not right."

"Did you or father ever apologize?"

"Of course we did. Many times I knew I was not fair and I was never afraid to admit that. Saying sorry doesn't make you weak, but actually more responsible and mature. Cause he is not only your husband and the father of your children. He is also your lover and your best friend for life. Talk is always the answer."

Ines smiled.

"Well at least I will have you to give me advice!"

"I will always be here to give you that and you can always come to me when you need me!" Alli said smiled and leaning in she kissed her daughter's forehead.

Present Day:

Tears were rolling down Ines's face when she remembered that moment 12 years ago.

"Oh mother, I missed you so much. I wish you were to give me one of your advices and cuddle in your arms." And she started to sobbing, letting her pain she was holding for so long, come out.

Tosche Station

Luke was sitting by a table with some of his friends, when he felt something was not right with Ines. He felt a pain from her that he never felt before.

"Guys I need to now!" he said standing up and looked at R2 who beeped.

"Now?" Fixer asked.

"Yeah, it is getting late and I need to started preparing things for the sandstorm that will hit us tonight. See you guys later!" and he left the place, hope he would reach home quickly. He may be upset with her but one thing he knew, his love for her was still strong and if something happened to her, he would regret to the things he said and did lately.

Poor Ines. That was a sweet moment between mother and daughter. Ines finally let got her emotions and how much she misses her mother.
