Chapter 8 – Arriving in Naboo

The ship was going light speed. They were traveling for 2 days and they were expecting to arrive to Naboo the next day.

Ines turned around in bed and reaching the right side of the bed, she noticed it was empty. Opening her eyes, she noticed she was alone in her bed.

"Luke?" she asked wondering where was he. It was 1 am at the time. Getting out of bed, she walked out of the bedroom, putting the robe on, because no matter how many times she would travel, she never got used to the fact that it was cold in space.

Passing by R2, she smiled at it.

"Hey R2. Where is Luke?"

The little droid beeped and she smiled at it.

"Thanks!" she said and kissing the top of R2 head, she head back to the bridge, where she found Luke sitting on one of the chairs of the cockpit, looking at the ship going on light speed.

"Hey," she said making Luke looked up at her, reaching his right arm, he wrapped it around her waist, making sitting on his lap.

"What are you doing out of bed?"

"I woke up and you were not in it. And I can ask the same question. What are you doing out of bed too?" she said playing with his hair.

"Could sleep!"

"Thinking of the lunch we had with Boba and Fennec?"

Luke nod.

"What do you really think?" she asked again, even if she already knew his answer.

"I think something is happening. And we need to be prepare."

"You think it is like Thrawn or you are sensing something bigger?"

"I can't say yet but I don't think is nothing like we face before." he said looking at her. "But now we know something is going on, and we will be careful. But our moments of peace will not last again!"

Sighing, she kissed his forehead and look at him.

"You know something, when we arrived, you need a hair cut. It is way to big already, especially in the front!" she reveal removing his blond hair from his eyes.

"Really!" she pouted making her laugh.

"Now I know where out kids got that hate for hair cuts. From their father!"

"Very funny!" he said.

"It is true. And it doesn't matter how much you pout you will need a hair cut and so does our other Luke. So that would be fun. He will have his first hair cut!"

"I bet it will. If he turn out like his twin sisters, I don't want to be around!"

Ines couldn't help to laugh, remembering the first time the girls had to cut their hair and they cried cause they thought not only it would hurt but the hair would be short forever.

"I can't wait to have them in my arms. I miss them!" he continue to say.

"Be prepare for a lot of hugs and kisses," she replied. "But until then, how about we hug and kiss this one!" she pointed at her.

Giggling, they stood up and head to the bedroom, for a good night sleep before entering in Naboo air space.

Varykino:

In Varykino, the kids were excited to see their parents, especially their father. The girls didn't stay quiet one second.

"Aunt Leia, when Mama and Papa will arrive?" Alli asked for the tenth time.

"Sweetie, I already told, they already land on the planet, and they are heading towards us. They will be here any minute now!"

The girls looked at each other.

"Then we go outside near the water and wait for them," Padmé replied and before any of the adults could stop them or say anything, the girls were already out of the door, running towards the stairs.

"Wait, Girls!" Leia called. "Shit!"

Lukey looked at his aunt and with a smile, he did what everyone feared right after Leia said what she said.

"Shit!" The 2 years old repeat.

"Nice job aunt!" Han said looking at his wife.

Reed and Luma, who used to spend the day with them, even if they had their own place, just turned away trying not to laugh.

"Sweetie, that is a bad word. You don't say that okay. Auntie Leia was wrong."

The toddler smiled at her.

"Shit!" he repeated with a laugh.

"Oh my, Master Luke and Master Ines will not be please!" 3PO said making Leia glare at the droid with that killing look, which made the droid stand quiet for a while before he speak again. "I better watch over little Alli and little Padmé!"

"I go with you 3PO!" Ben said following the droid.

Picking the kid, Luma smiled at the blue eye and blond hair boy.

"Let's wait for mama and papa too," she said looking at Leia, who followed her slowly due to her huge belly.

After a while a small boat started to appear, making the kids jump happy.

"Mama! Papa!" Alli screamed when they got out of the boat followed by R2, and the twins ran towards them, jumping in Luke's arms.

"Hey, I miss my sweet girls!" he said kissing their cheeks over and over again.

After putting the kids down, he pulled Ben into his arms and hugged his first born too.

"Welcome Dad."

"I miss you buddy!" Luke said kissing the 7 years old forehead before putting on the ground and pick up his young kid. "Hey buddy, how are you!"

Lukey looked at his father and gave him a big smile before he opened his mouth and said what everyone was fearing.

"Shit!"

Luke and Ines looked at their son and then back to each other.

"What did he say?" Ines asked but she looked right away to Han, who raised his hands.

"Hey this time was not me!" he replied.

"Leia! You know kids at his age repeat everything we say!"

"Sorry it just came out before I knew it!"

Sighing Ines rolled her eyes.

"So, we see everything is already now!" Luma decided to say. "I guess we, or Leia was right!"

"You're welcome!" she said.

"Don't think that would make us forget what you just did!" Luke said towards his twin sister, and glaring at Lukey who was with his little head resting on his dad left shoulder and sucking his left thumb.

"Whatever!" Leia replied.

"How is Tatooine?" Reed asked.

Luke and Ines looked at each other which made Han frown. He knew them too well to know something happened?

"What it is, kids?" he asked them.

"Where are the other?" Ines asked her brother in law, which made Han look at his wife.

"You mean your family?"

"And Ahsoka and Ezra, too!" Luke said.

"Why?" Leia decided to asked cause she sensed right away something was brother her twin. "What do you know?"

"We don't know yet, but before we leave we got some news from Boba and Fennec." Luke started to speak.

"What news?" Luma asked.

"We better get inside. It is good that you are both senators, but I want to have Ahsoka, Ezra and my mother in the room too."

Looking at each other, they went inside, asking themselves what were the news that clearly made Luke a little worried.

They finally are home and Lukey learn a new world. LOL
