A lustrous forest as a stray Izuchi walking around the forest searching for its pack. A rustle from the bushes alerted the Izuchi as it stands full height staring at the bush before lowering its body preparing to jump at anything from the bush. From a bush, walked out a Mosswine not caring about the high alert Izuchi and kept walking past it. The Izuchi relaxed, only for a sudden gust of wind to go past it and two more gusts of wind. Taking a moment to regain its footing, the Izuchi was about to chase after them until a purple flame envelops the Izuchi killing it instantly.
"NORAAAA! WHEN WE GOT BACK TO VALE VILLAGE YOU WILL BE CLEANING ALL OF OUR WEAPONS, ARMORS, AND THE BUDDIES' EQUIPMENT," It can be seen that Jaune carrying a cackling Nora over his shoulder riding a scared golden Palamutes as fast as possible.
Behind the frantic Jaune appear Ren and Pyrrha catch up riding their respective Palamutes with Pyrrha carrying a pink Palamutes under her arm. As they dodged left and right avoiding the incoming purple flames. Appear from behind them was Magnamalo, with its tail posed to launch its flame ball attack. Ren, who is using a bow, shoots a sleep-coated arrow at the monster in the hope of making it fall asleep. The Magnamalo jumps high in the sky and lands in front of the running group. Immediately Jaune Palamute slid to a stop, and Jaune simultaneously threw Nora at the Magnamalo.
"NORA! BOOP THE HEAD!"
Nora begin to cackle even louder as she began to spin in mid-air before slamming her hammer dead center at the head. The Magnamalo stagger.
"PYRRHA! ELEMENTAL DISCHARGE!" Pyrrha jumps off her Palamute, shifting her weapon to ax mode as the blade began to spin around and slashes Magnamalo. The moment the blade hits Magnamalo, a burst of water erupts from the blade and the force makes Magnamalo fall to its side.
"REN! TOGETHER!" with a shout, both land on each side of Magnamalo as they began to charge their weapon. Ren preparing the dragon piercer and Jaune preparing the wyvern fire. At the same time, both release their attack as a large explosion hits Magnamalo.
"NORA! NOW!" as the Magnamalo regains its bearing, it sees the incoming hammer. With no time to dodge, the hammer hit Magnamalo's head-crushing slam. Its head caved in as it lay dead. Nora landed perfectly on top of the monster corpse sitting on it swinging her legs in giddy joy.
"Is it dead?" Pyrrha asked.
"Well, it's not moving," Ren replied before falling flat on his front due to exhaustion.
"Don't sleep right now, let's carve our hunt and get back to the village" Jaune said as he began to carve for material from the monster with the help of Pyrrha, Ren, and Nora.
It took a whole hour for them to finish carving all the necessary material from the corpse and now the group of four hunters began to track back toward their village on their Palamuted with Nora carrying all of the materials they gathered. After a few minutes of traveling, they came across a tall wooden gate and wall that protect the village with guards on watch on top of the gate. Jaune with a sharp whistle and a wave signals the guards to open the gate. It took a few seconds of delay before the gate began to open and the four walked in nodding at the guards in appreciation.
The village is bustling with activities with people doing their daily lives. They went past Oscar tending and training Palamutes and Palicos. Healer Peach tending the injured. Next, they greet Port and Oobleck, the two monster researchers of the village. Jaune and his group track toward the village's main hub which is located in the middle of the village. In front of the building stand the village leader Ozpin talking to Glynda the head trainer and handler for hunters. Noticing the approaching group, Ozpin smiles at the group.
"Ah... Team JNPR, I see that your assignment is a rousing success then" Ozpin said.
"It's a bit too exciting if you ask me sir" Jaune replied while glaring at the smiling Nora. Pyrrha looks ready to collapse while Ren is already asleep on top of his Palamute. All in all, it's another Wednesday for them. Glynda just rolled her eyes at Ozpin before smiling at the group.
"Yes, well, all of you deserve a good rest after a job well done. Just drop those materials to Tai and have a good rest." Glynda said.
With a nod and thank you, the group began to go to the blacksmith where Tai is shaping the metal on a furnace. Hearing the approaching group, Tai turned around and with a wide smile, he greets them.
"Well, now team JNPR," Tai said, "How's my second favorite hunting team going"
"HI TAI, LOOK WHAT WE BROUGHT" Nora shouted as she jumps dump the sack of material at the table in front of Tai. "CAN YOU MAKE ME THE EXPLOSIVE HAMMER NOW!?"
Tai could only chuckle at the hyperactive girl as Tai began to look into the sack to see if he can find material for the weapon that Nora requested (demanded). Looking through all the material, Tai could only sign before he looks back at the team.
"Well, you got everything needed except for one thing,"
"What is it?" Pyrrha asked
"A small item that is a bane to all hunters, Magnamalo Plate," Tai said
A sound of glass breaking could be heard as Jaune, Pyrrha, and Nora's hearts break hearing the missing item is notoriously the hardest material to find. Jaune and Pyrrha began to pale from fright as Nora have a glint of madness or maybe determination depending on whos looking. Even their Palamutes saw the intent behind Nora's eyes and whimpered in fear. Slowly Jaune, Pyrrha, and all of their Palamutes began to walk backward to get away from Nora only for Nora to grab the wrist of Jaune and Pyrrha.
"N-now Nora, you heard what Glynda said that we should rest for the day," Pyrrha stuttered an excuse.
"Th-that's right, besides we just killed one and we don't know where another Magnamalo would show itself," Jaune tried to reason with Nora
It was at that moment that four footsteps approaches them. It was the famous team RWBY walking toward them. Ruby waving excitedly at them, Yang's arms crossed across her bust, Weiss walking head high and arms at her back, and Blake reading while walking.
"Jaune Hi, Did you hear that apparently, a Magnamalo appeared in the desert where we were hunting," Ruby said
Paling at what they heard, before saying another word Jaune and Pyrrha rag-dolled and dragged by Nora with their Palamutes and the sleeping Ren following behind them. Team RWBY could only watch in astonishment.
"You know that Jaune and Pyrrha going to practice their combos against you right?"
Ruby could only squeak with fear from the thought.
