Sorry for the delay, I had to redo the entire chapter because I wasn't feeling what I wrote originally. Before that, I lost my laptop at my aunt's house because we had a family reunion. Regardless, here's chapter 4. Hope you enjoy!

Guest: Bardock will, Gine not sure. Super Buu will have different forms. They will be seen in the Super story. There will be few references to GT. Only Future Trunks. Zamasu will appear in the next story. There will be a few DB Online and Xenoverse references. The Red Ribbon Army will be seen in the Super story. While hear about what happened to them. Can't answer your last question ;).

zarkan: Thanks bro I really appreciate it.

guest: I'm still weighing my options of letting Gine and Bardock having another kid.

Jesse Chambers: I will be doing another story following the events of Super with some aspects of GT. That story will also have a few video game characters introduced as well.

RandomDood: The Earthling Z Fighters will something to do, trust me.

Dragonballreader: I have some ideas for Chi Chi, don't worry.

Chapter 4: Father vs Son

Some time had passed since Goku told Bardock and Gine about his life on Earth and ate dinner. Currently Goku and Bardock were outside in what looked like a battlefield.

Bardock: This area is where I personally train myself. This will be where we spar.

Gine walked up beside Bardock.

Gine: By the way, how are your new clothes?

Goku was wearing the clothes of the people of Yardrat. He wore a long-sleeved white shirt with a frillish-collar and gold cuffs at the end of the sleeves. On top was a dark blue armor, with gold accents, golden shoulder straps and a shoulder guard on the left shoulder. He also wore red pants with armor over the waist. Last but not least was his boots that were left undamaged.

He wore those clothes mainly because his Gi was torn from fighting Frieza.

Goku: The clothes are pretty comfortable to wear. How did you get them in my size so quickly?

Gine: They were supposed to be for your father but he turned them down.

Gine said with a cute giggle while pointing to Bardock.

Bardock: No way will I ever be caught wearing those clothes.

Goku: So, are you ready?

Goku got into a fighting stance.

Bardock: Of course, I am.

Gine ran to the sidelines to observe the fight between the two.

Bardock: Understand Kakarot, I have intention of holding back so come at me with everything you've got.

Bardock readied himself as he also got into a fighting stance.

Goku: Got it.

Gine cheered from the side.

Gine: Don't hurt each other too badly and good luck!

The two nodded as they were set.

Goku: Let's go!

Goku charged at Bardock.

Bardock charged at Goku.

The two clashed as their fists collided causing a shockwave to blow away everything around them. Gine managed to maintain her footing to prevent herself from flying away as she continued to watch.

The two broke apart before charging back at each other. Goku and Bardock began throwing punches and kicks at each other as they began to fly into the air.

Goku threw a punch but Bardock caught it and punched Goku in the face and sending him back. Goku smiled before charging back at Bardock and throwing punches at him.

He continued to punch at Bardock while evading attacks from him when he caught the perfect moment. As Bardock tried to punch Goku, Goku ducked and elbowed Bardock in the gut.

Bardock gasped as he was hit hard before collecting himself. Bardock shot a Ki Blast at Goku. Goku was able to knock it away only for Bardock to kick Goku in the face.

Goku was sent flying but began to fly upwards and keep himself from crashing into the ground.

Goku: So, this how my father fights. Honestly, I'm extremely impressed. However, I'm not going down that easily.

Goku began to charge up his Ki and began shooting ten Ki Blasts at Bardock. Bardock deflected the attacks only to be kicked in the back by Goku. Goku rushed over the Bardock before punching him repeatedly in the stomach. As Bardock tried to kick Goku, Goku used his arm to block the attack. Goku was also able to stop his other leg from kicking him only for Bardock to warp away. Goku was suddenly kicked from behind causing him to fall.

Goku was able to rebound and land on the ground as Bardock landed as well.

Goku: I'll be honest, I'm really impressed with how strong you are.

Bardock: I'm supposed to be saying that to you, kid. And just so you know, you're not the only one who has been training hard these last 20 years.

Goku: I can tell. I can sense that you've been training intensely after all this time. If anything, you're about as strong as Piccolo is now.

Bardock had a small smile on his face. To Bardock, this meant his time training wasn't a waste of time.

Bardock: I'll have to spar with your Namekian friend just to see who is stronger. Before that, I intend to win against you.

Goku smiled at his father with confidence.

Goku: We'll see about that. Now then let's see how you handle this.

Goku began to charge his Ki as he began to turn red.

Goku: KAIO-KEN!

Goku's aura erupted in red Ki.

Bardock and Gine were taken aback by this.

Bardock: Kaio-ken?

Goku: I learned this technique from a God. This multiplies my strength. Now, the real fun begins.

Goku blitz over the Bardock and began to throw faster punches. Bardock tried avoiding the attacks but was hit in the chest before getting kicked away.

Bardock rebounded and flew towards Goku to attack him. Goku caught his punch and countered his kick when Bardock tried to kick him.

Goku managed to flip Bardock. As Goku flew towards Bardock, Bardock created an Energy Ball in his hand. As Goku got closer, Bardock smirked as he put two fingers on his forehead and teleported.

Goku: Wha-

Goku turned around to see Bardock fire his Riot Javelin?

Goku was barely able to avoid only to find Bardock rush towards him.

Bardock used his Rebellion Spear to hit Goku in the gut and knock him backwards. Goku landed on both feet before blasting several Ki blasts at Bardock. Bardock

Bardock: Come on Kakarot is this all you can do?

Goku: Far from it. Just watch! KAIO-KEN TIMES THREE!

Goku's body began to produce heat and his muscles began to grow in size while his red aura flared up. Bardock was shocked to see this.

Bardock: Incredible.

Goku charged at him before punching Bardock in the face. While Bardock was blown away, Goku raced over to him to kick him in the gut.

Bardock rebounded off of a wall and tried to retaliate with punches. Unfortunately, Goku was too fast for Bardock to hit. To make things worse, Goku began beating down on Bardock with a flurry of punches and kicks.

While he attacked Bardock, Goku could feel that something was off. He could feel his attacks get weaker and himself get more exhausted.

Goku: What's going on with me? I know for a fact that I can sustain a Kaio-ken x3 so why am I getting exhausted so quickly.

Goku threw a punch but Bardock caught it. Bardock smiled before punching Goku in the gut. After that, Bardock used both feet to kick Goku to the ground.

Goku: How did his attacks get stronger all of a sudden? I how to end this quickly.

Goku managed to fly upwards as Bardock tried to chase him.

Goku cupped his hands to the side to charged his attack. Seeing this, Bardock charged energy in his right hand.

Goku: Kaaaa. Meeee. Haaaa. Meeee...

Bardock: RAAAAAAAH!

Bardock fired his Spirit Cannon at Goku.

Goku: HAAAAAAA!

Goku launched his arms out and fired his Kamehameha.

Both attacks collided causing an explosion. Once the explosion dissipated Goku and Bardock looked at each other with a smirk while Gine was extremely impressed.

Bardock: I see. This is the power that defeated Frieza.

Goku: Not exactly.

Goku's Kaio-ken faded away as he returned to his base form.

Goku: Truth is the Kaio-ken can be taxing on the body. I only use it as a last resort.

Bardock: Really now?

Goku: At least I did. However, there is one more power I can show you.

Goku tightened his fist and began to gather Ki in his body and focused on tapping in to the power used on Namek.

Goku remembered Krillin's death at the hands of Frieza and began to use that as fuel to charge his power. The skies began to darken a bit as Goku began to be enveloped in a golden aura.

As he charged his Ki, Goku's hair began to stand on end. While his black hair began to fade to gold, his black eyes turned green. With a mighty roar, Goku transformed.

Goku: HYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

Power erupted from Goku as a shockwave shook everyone present. Goku stood in front of a bewildered Bardock. Gine watched from the side and was also surprised by what her son did.

Gine: It can't be...

Bardock: The legend... really was true...

Goku formed a smile on his face.

Goku: That's right. This is the power that defeated Frieza. This is a Super Saiyan.

Bardock was shocked to see this. Gine was just as surprised as Bardock was and marveled at her youngest son's new form.

Unfortunately for Goku, he couldn't control the power yet and unintentionally exited his new form, falling to the ground.

Bardock & Gine: Kakarot!

Bardock and Gine flew to help him up. Goku smiled as he was helped up.

Goku: Looks like I need to train a bit to control the form better.

Bardock: I agree. Let's put our sparring match on hold for now.

Goku: Sure.

Bardock and Gine helped Goku up and the three flew off to the makeshift house.

Later

Goku laid down on a bed when Bardock opened the door and entered.

Bardock: Hope the beds aren't that bad for you. They were never comfortable unfortunately.

Goku: It's a little hard but I guess it'll do.

Bardock chuckled a bit as he walked over to Goku's side and sat down.

Bardock: Tell me, how did you become a Super Saiyan?

Goku: It was during my fight Frieza. I thought I defeated him with a Spirit Bomb but he survived and he killed my best friend Krillin. All I remember was feeling so much rage and grief. At the same time I felt power coming out of me. I just let my rage explode and then... I transformed.

Bardock listened to what Goku was saying and could relate to his feelings. Bardock remembered his crew and how they were killed by Dodoria and his Elites.

Goku: The power felt amazing but it was also overwhelming.

Bardock: How is it overwhelming?

Goku: The form has this effect where it amplifies rage and primal instincts. Aside from that, I believe that the form made me 50 times stronger than I originally was.

Bardock laid down on the bed next to Goku.

Bardock: I see, its no wonder you defeated Frieza.

Bardock pondered on the thought and wondered if he could achieve that form as well. While Bardock thought to himself, Goku spoke to him.

Goku: Father, I have to ask. Were the Saiyans really as bad as everyone said?

Bardock sat back up and looked at Goku with a look of regret and seriousness.

Bardock: Unfortunately yes. Our bad press was well earned.

Goku: You mind telling what life was like for you?

Bardock: Sure, I don't mind. Just understand you won't like what you hear.

Next time... Bardock and Goku talk.
