A/N:

Turbosa22c- I don't know man. This chapter was kind of uncomfortable. Like I get Kali wanting grandkids is played up in the fandom….but this takes it too far. The fact she basically forced her daughter to cheat on her wife…..and was Blake technically raped?

I mean she was super against it and even begged Jaune to stop. Like I am all for smut and what not but this was too far.

Possibly. I think I might have been desensitized by Reddit. I've heard stories from that site that makes what happened to Blake seem like a Hallmark movie. Doesn't help that she instinctively clung to Jaune. She hugged him and even wrapped her legs around him. Her Semblance is all about escaping, so she could have easily gotten away from Jaune and Nimueh if she wanted to.

But in the end, she still cheated on Yang... WILLINGLY, whether she wants to admit it or not.

Let's face it, ever since practically the beginning of the Menagerie Arc, I've had her cheat on Yang on an emotional and physical level. It wasn't supposed to be like that, but it happened.

You know, it's funny. An old reviewer said I obviously hated Weiss, but I feel indifferent to her. If anything, it would look more like I hated Yang.

Seriously, I gave Raven a son she loves far more than Yang, I denied her the chance to be an aunt to her biological nephew, I'm having her raise Jaune's biological daughter, and STILL Jaune ends up raising her because Yang keeps having him babysit her; and now I'm having her wife cheat on her with Jaune. If someone thought I hated Yang, I would have no right to deny them right now.

Did I go too far? Possibly. Do I feel sorry about it? Unfortunately no, because it helped me create Noire. The amount of potential that boy has. I can't squander it! The Specials are all basically non-canon, but they've inspired canon events plenty of times. Noire's birth might become canon because of this Special.

Sorry, dude.

Guest- Romans 1:18-32 NKJV

[18] For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, [19] because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. [20] For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, [21] because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. [22] Professing to be wise, they became fools, [23] and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things. [24] Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, [25] who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. [26] For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. [27] Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. [28] And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; [29] being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, [30] backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, [31] undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; [32] who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.

Romans 2:1-16 NKJV
[1] Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things. [2] But we know that the judgment of God is according to truth against those who practice such things. [3] And do you think this, O man, you who judge those practicing such things, and doing the same, that you will escape the judgment of God? [4] Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance? [5] But in accordance with your hardness and your impenitent heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, [6] who "will render to each one according to his deeds": [7] eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality; [8] but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness—indignation and wrath, [9] tribulation and anguish, on every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek; [10] but glory, honor, and peace to everyone who works what is good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. [11] For there is no partiality with God. [12] For as many as have sinned without law will also perish without law, and as many as have sinned in the law will be judged by the law [13] (for not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God, but the doers of the law will be justified; [14] for when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do the things in the law, these, although not having the law, are a law to themselves, [15] who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them) [16] in the day when God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my gospel.

/bible/114/rom.2.

Romans 2:17-29 NKJV
[17] Indeed you are called a Jew, and rest on the law, and make your boast in God, [18] and know His will, and approve the things that are excellent, being instructed out of the law, [19] and are confident that you yourself are a guide to the blind, a light to those who are in darkness, [20] an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, having the form of knowledge and truth in the law. [21] You, therefore, who teach another, do you not teach yourself? You who preach that a man should not steal, do you steal? [22] You who say, "Do not commit adultery," do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples? [23] You who make your boast in the law, do you dishonor God through breaking the law? [24] For "the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you," as it is written. [25] For circumcision is indeed profitable if you keep the law; but if you are a breaker of the law, your circumcision has become uncircumcision. [26] Therefore, if an uncircumcised man keeps the righteous requirements of the law, will not his uncircumcision be counted as circumcision? [27] And will not the physically uncircumcised, if he fulfills the law, judge you who, even with your written code and circumcision, are a transgressor of the law? [28] For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh; [29] but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter; whose praise is not from men but from God.

I Corinthians 7:1-40 NKJV
[1] Now concerning the things of which you wrote to me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman. [2] Nevertheless, because of sexual immorality, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband. [3] Let the husband render to his wife the affection due her, and likewise also the wife to her husband. [4] The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. And likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does. [5] Do not deprive one another except with consent for a time, that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again so that Satan does not tempt you because of your lack of self-control. [6] But I say this as a concession, not as a commandment. [7] For I wish that all men were even as I myself. But each one has his own gift from God, one in this manner and another in that. [8] But I say to the unmarried and to the widows: It is good for them if they remain even as I am; [9] but if they cannot exercise self-control, let them marry. For it is better to marry than to burn with passion. [10] Now to the married I command, yet not I but the Lord: A wife is not to depart from her husband. [11] But even if she does depart, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband. And a husband is not to divorce his wife. [12] But to the rest I, not the Lord, say: If any brother has a wife who does not believe, and she is willing to live with him, let him not divorce her. [13] And a woman who has a husband who does not believe, if he is willing to live with her, let her not divorce him. [14] For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband; otherwise your children would be unclean, but now they are holy. [15] But if the unbeliever departs, let him depart; a brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases. But God has called us to peace. [16] For how do you know, O wife, whether you will save your husband? Or how do you know, O husband, whether you will save your wife? [17] But as God has distributed to each one, as the Lord has called each one, so let him walk. And so I ordain in all the churches. [18] Was anyone called while circumcised? Let him not become uncircumcised. Was anyone called while uncircumcised? Let him not be circumcised. [19] Circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing, but keeping the commandments of God is what matters. [20] Let each one remain in the same calling in which he was called. [21] Were you called while a slave? Do not be concerned about it; but if you can be made free, rather use it. [22] For he who is called in the Lord while a slave is the Lord's freedman. Likewise he who is called while free is Christ's slave. [23] You were bought at a price; do not become slaves of men. [24] Brethren, let each one remain with God in that state in which he was called. [25] Now concerning virgins: I have no commandment from the Lord; yet I give judgment as one whom the Lord in His mercy has made trustworthy. [26] I suppose therefore that this is good because of the present distress—that it is good for a man to remain as he is: [27] Are you bound to a wife? Do not seek to be loosed. Are you loosed from a wife? Do not seek a wife. [28] But even if you do marry, you have not sinned; and if a virgin marries, she has not sinned. Nevertheless such will have trouble in the flesh, but I would spare you. [29] But this I say, brethren, the time is short, so that from now on even those who have wives should be as though they had none, [30] those who weep as though they did not weep, those who rejoice as though they did not rejoice, those who buy as though they did not possess, [31] and those who use this world as not misusing it. For the form of this world is passing away. [32] But I want you to be without care. He who is unmarried cares for the things of the Lord—how he may please the Lord. [33] But he who is married cares about the things of the world—how he may please his wife. [34] There is a difference between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman cares about the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit. But she who is married cares about the things of the world—how she may please her husband. [35] And this I say for your own profit, not that I may put a leash on you, but for what is proper, and that you may serve the Lord without distraction. [36] But if any man thinks he is behaving improperly toward his virgin, if she is past the flower of youth, and thus it must be, let him do what he wishes. He does not sin; let them marry. [37] Nevertheless he who stands steadfast in his heart, having no necessity, but has power over his own will, and has so determined in his heart that he will keep his virgin, does well. [38] So then he who gives her in marriage does well, but he who does not give her in marriage does better. [39] A wife is bound by law as long as her husband lives; but if her husband dies, she is at liberty to be married to whom she wishes, only in the Lord. [40] But she is happier if she remains as she is, according to my judgment—and I think I also have the Spirit of God.

Huh. I get why you used these particular verses, but ironically, they're just as much of a critique of RWBY itself.

I mean, Blake is married to a woman, so she literally has no husband. Though, I'm guessing you mostly meant these as critiques against Jaune. Still, these verses BRUTALIZE RWBY itself. The Romans verses themselves pretty much say the RWBY universe is nothing but sin. Kinda makes it difficult to defend ANYTHING I write for RWBY now.

So, I won't defend it. It's evil, it's sinful, and technically blasphemous.

But it's a story I enjoyed writing, and a story I need to finish.

It was a beautiful day in Menagerie. The sun was shining, the sea was glistening, and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. The only thing to see was a fireball rushing toward the sea.

Wait, what?

The fireball turned out to be Inai divebombing toward the sea, holding Jaune tightly. He wasn't struggling, but not due to a lack of trying. The pressure of the freefall weighed him down. He couldn't even move because of how fast they were falling. The fact that they were literally on fire was just the icing on the cake.

"EAGLE GOD STYLE, SECRET TECHNIQUE: PHOENIX DOWN," Inai roared before releasing Jaune right past the last moment, the hero literally exploding into the water.

The intense heat made steam burst from the ocean. A fog surrounded the area for a bit before clearing up, the area where Jaune landed still boiling and bubbling. Inai even winced when she saw some fish rise to the surface. "It's usually empty around here," she said to herself.

Moments later, Jaune burst out of the sea, spinning into the air before extending his wings and gasping for air. "H-Holy cr-crap! Damn. Phoenix Down is brutal."

Inai giggled. "The Eagle God's most powerful technique. You and my husband are about the only people who were able to walk away without a scratch."

"No scratch my ass. I don't even need to look at my scroll to know my Aura's in the red. I bet a flick is enough to break it as it is right now." Jaune then used his Semblance to recharge his Aura. "Right as rain. Hm? Wait a minute, you used this on Howl?"

"Mhm. We weren't on very good terms when we met, me being a Menagerian Guard and him being a member of the Taurus Era White Fang. One of the most difficult battles I've ever had. I still hold it over him that I won that fight."

"Howl isn't an easy guy to beat. You can tell by just looking at him."

"He wasn't. But Phoenix Down sure made it easier."

"I'm honestly shocked to know he survived it. You flew me high enough to see the stars, Inai."

"That's the minimum height to effectively use Phoenix Down. The icing is a bit of an annoyance, but powerful techniques usually come with great risks. It was the same with Kai's Drought, correct?"

"Yeah. Leaves a big opening and takes away the water around you, making Shark God Style a bit more difficult to use. I guess Phoenix Down also leaves a bit of an opening if your opponent can stab your arms or something."

"True, but you felt the gravity of the attack, didn't you, Jaune?"

"Oh, did I. I felt like a sculpture."

"You're the most powerful human in the world, Jaune. If you couldn't break out of that, I doubt anyone else could."

"Mm. Inai, if the Faunus have techniques this powerful, how is it that the Faunus aren't more... I don't know... influential, maybe?"

Inai crossed her arms beneath her breasts with a raised eyebrow. "Jaune, even just a few decades ago, if the humans knew we Faunus had techniques as powerful as Phoenix Down alone, what do you think would happen?"

"You... would probably be hunted to extinction."

"Exactly. Humanity has always greatly outnumbered the Faunus, and their technology has always been superior. As powerful as Beast God Martial Arts are, they still have limitations. No master can take on an entire army of armed soldiers on their own, even with a Secret Technique."

"Y-yeah. I guess that was kinda stupid. Uh, well, I'm pretty sure I got the basis of Phoenix Down covered. Just gotta try it out sometime. What can you tell me about the other Secret techniques?"

"Not much," Inai giggled. "All I can give you are the names. You already know about the Shark and Eagle God's secret techniques. The Wolf God Style has Fenrir's Bite. Snake God has Orochi no Yattsu Atari, or Eight Strikes of Orochi."

"Why does it have two names?"

"The Snake God Style originated in a different land that's long been gone. The language only survives through the martial arts itself. The final Secret technique, the Tiger God Style... is known as Byakko's Gale."

"Wait, Byakko shares the same name as his secret technique?"

"Turns out to be the tradition in the Tiger God Style. The Tiger God always takes the name of the Secret technique, symbolizing that he or she is the leader of the style. It's god. As far as I know, none of the other styles have such a tradition. All I can give you is the names of their best techniques. I can't tell you anymore. Not my martial art, after all. I have my own to take care of."

Jaune chuckled. "I suppose you do. Ah, but you can't give me any pointers on how to survive them?"

"I don't even know what most of them look like," Inai laughed. "None of the beast Gods have needed to fight in YEARS. Everything only changed after you showed up. You're a very influential man, Jaune Arc."

"I see. I suppose I should be flattered. Well, as much as I would love to learn the other techniques..." Jaune moved his neck to make a VERY loud and crunchy pop in his neck. "I think I've had enough of my ass getting kicked today."

"Wise choice."

"Want any," Jaune asked as he pointed at the dead, floating, boiled fish. "I'm sure Blake wouldn't mind sharing with one of her island's guardians."

Inai raised an eyebrow at the hero.

"What?"

"You spoil Lady Blake as if she were your wife."

Jaune jolted. "Please... Don't even joke about that." Jaune then flew down to collect the fish.

Inai watched him as he grabbed the fish, nearly getting bitten by a random shark that he just smacked away, the large fish swimming away in surprise and fear. "And when did I say I was joking, my dear student," Inai asked as she crossed her arms again.

Jaune flew back to the Belladonna Estate, landing at the front door before knocking. He opened the door, the fish in hand. "I'm home," Jaune called.

"Arc, that better be fish I'm smelling," Blake called before peering past the corner. She then walked up to him and swiped one of the fish out of his hand. She sniffed it a bit before biting a chunk out of it. "Dammit, do you have any idea how hard it is to hate you when you pull stunts like this?"

"Heh, I'm sure you and Nim could write a book."

"Try an entire damn series," Nimueh called from the kitchen. "Ghira isn't home, by the way. Had some business to take care of."

"Involving the mission," Jaune asked.

"Yes, actually," Blake said as she took the rest of the catch. "Preparations are going accordingly. Moana is also being made on schedule. I also heard that the oasis by the cliff is going to have a village built soon, mostly by Flying Faunus."

"They're not worried the cliff will collapse, are they," Jaune asked.

"It's better safe than sorry," Kali said as she walked up. "Once the area is more secure, I'm sure more people will settle in the area. It's the far-end oasis Ghira is concerned about."

"I can't say I'm surprised. With that monster in the desert, traveling is a bit of a gamble. Menagerie has sand storms. Getting misdirected in those and wandering into the Mo'o's territory is way too easy." Jaune looked at his hand and clenched his fist. "I need to exterminate that thing as soon as possible."

"And there he goes," Blake sighed.

"Hm?"

She then flicked his nose. "I gotta do this. I gotta do that. I need to take care of this. I need to get that. Me, me, me. What you need to do is rely on others more often, Hero. You're ridiculously powerful. No one can deny that. But you can't carry the world on your shoulders. At the very least, let me and other Menageries take care of our own home. We can't rely on you for everything, especially when you're gone."

"Uh, under normal circumstances, I'd agree with you, Blake, but you didn't see that thing. It's not as big as the Elder Ice Dragon that tried to destroy New Mantle, but it's still one big bastard. I'm not sure any team on Menagerie could beat it. I'll be honest, Blake. I'm not even sure if I can beat it as I am. It's not a Grimm, so I can't just try and Conquer it. Without a doubt, hunting that thing will be an S-ranked mission at least."

"Yeah, I get it, it will be one of our hardest missions, but I don't exactly plan on hiding away from my home's problems, you know."

Jaune blinked. "Come again?"

"Hm? Something wrong?"

"Blake... are you volunteering for the mission?!"

"Didn't you just hear what I said? Menagerie's my home. Of course, I'm going to help volunteer in improving it. And I am a Huntsman, too, Arc. International 3rd Class".

"Inter-What!? I thought you were a National 1st Class this entire time!"

"Gee, thanks," Blake said with a raised eyebrow. "I'll have you know it's been years since my promotion. You were just too busy being the hero of the world to notice."

Jaune then grabbed Blake's shoulder. "Mrs. Xiao Long, I'm begging you to reconsider! If anything happens to you, I KNOW Yang will kill me!"

"Jaune, I'm not changing my mind. Don't worry. I helped beat Salem, remember? I'll help with this. Besides, I feel like you're coddling me right now. Exactly why am I not allowed to fight a kingdom-sized monster standing in the way of the betterment of my home country?"

"BECAUSE IT'S A KINGDOM-SIZED MONSTER!"

"Jaune, we'll have you and Howl as leaders. We'll be fine."

"But-"

"Keep arguing with me and I'll convince Nim to have a No Safe Word Night with Mom and me as special guests."

Jaune jolted. "You wouldn't dare."

Blake smirked as she moved closer to Jaune, her golden eyes staring into his blue eyes. "Try me, Puppy."

"You know, I can hear every word you two are saying, and I have to say... it won't be hard to convince me, babe," Nimueh called.

"I don't need convincing at all," Kali said with a playful smile.

"You... are far more devious than I give you credit for."

"Hmph," Blake went with a smirk.

"I'm honestly worried for whoever has the guts to date Verde. Who knows what you and Yang taught her."

"NOT INTERESTED IN DATING, UNCLE," Verde called from the sitting room.

"She sounded pissed."

"Ah, she's just struggling with the homework I gave her class today," Blake said.

"SHE'S EVIL, UNCLE! MY MOTHER IS EVIL!"

Jaune stared in the direction of his niece before looking at the beautiful Cat Faunus. "Let me guess: five-page written report on a historical Faunus leader?"

"Close. A major victory of a Faunus group, be it a kingdom or team. Extra credit if you have more than five pages."

"You are a frightening woman to have as a teacher, Blake."

She shrugged. "I'm not as lenient as you or Arie's teachers."

"Obviously," Jaune said. "Where is my kid anyway?"

"Actually, he's with Ghira," Kali said. "The boy was bored and thought spending time with his grandpa might be enjoyable."

"I thought Ghira was planning for the mission," Jaune said.

"Maybe he thought Arie could learn some tactical knowledge from the meeting," Blake shrugged.

Meanwhile.

Argent blinked. "Um, what?"

"You heard me correctly, Young Man," said Byakko as he and Ghira were looking at him, the two Faunus towering over the human boy.

"When your father comes to learn from me, I'd like for you to join him, not to be taught by me, but by my daughter."

"Wait, wait, wait. Are you... are you saying you want me to learn the Tiger God Style?!"

"That is correct, Argent," Ghira said. "Much like your father, you have the potential and skill needed to learn the Tiger God Style."

"It would disgrace my very name if I allowed such talent to go to waste. Argent Arc, I want you to learn the ways of the Tiger God."

"Me? Learn Tiger God? B-But I'm human."

"That didn't stop you from learning Shark God, now did it," Byakko asked.

"Oh. . . Uuuh, grandpa," Argent asked Ghira pleadingly.

Ghira jolted, grabbing his heart. "For as long as I live, I will never stop being tired of being called that by you or Verde."

"Wait, I screwed up! Sorry, Uncle Gh-"

Ghira loomed over Argent. "It's either grandfather or grandpa, preferably grandpa."

"Uh, sure, Grandpa."

Ghira had a cuddly smile on his face. "Yes, my dear grandson?"

Elsewhere, Tai crushed his chalk, causing the blackboard to crack, letting out a murderous aura that made the students shiver. Even the delinquents who wanted to cause trouble straightened up in fear of the teacher.

"Should I really be learning Tiger God? It's the strongest of the Styles, isn't it?"

"It's not the art that makes it powerful." Argent looked at Byakko. "But its user. Lady Mahina is older than even I, yet is still one of the greatest fighters on this island. Had she been in her prime, maybe she would have been known as the strongest, along with the Wolf God Style."

"And if you weren't born, maybe," Ghira offhandedly muttered while looking away.

"Ghira," Byakko said crossly.

"Mrm?! Apologies, old friend. But to be fair, in your younger days you were even stronger."

"Says the man who defeated me."

"Wait, GRANDPA?! YOU BEAT THE STRONGEST FAUNUS?!"

Ghira chuckled. "It was before he was a Beast God. He was a mere apprentice. Had a bit of a temper on him back then as well. I was arguably one of the only physical matches he had. Those days are long gone, though."

"Yes. Instead of learning any martial art, you got into politics. Your tenure as the first White Fang High Leader was wanting, but you made for a fine Chieftain."

"That means a lot coming from you, old friend."

"Now, as for you, boy, I believe you have more than enough talent and potential to learn the Tiger God Style."

"Because of my Semblance?"

"Very astute, child. Yes, your Semblance helps elevate you beyond human limitations, making it possible for you to learn Beast God Martial Arts. The fact that Kai made you an official Shark God is proof of this."

"Wow. Um, so, when should I start?"

"When your father thinks it is time," Byakko said.

"My dad? . . . Oh! You want to train the both of us at the same time."

Byakko chuckled. "You were raised well, child."

Ghira chortled as he rubbed Argent's head. "Indeed, he was! I only wish I could take credit for this child. His parents raised him exceptionally well!"

"Shishishi. Oh, yeah. I heard you only choose the best to train, right, Master Byakko?"

"It's a bit more complex, but that is essentially the truth."

"I absolutely get wanting to train my dad, but you seem like you want to train me more than even him. Or am I just imagining it?"

Byakko sighed. "You are dangerously wise for your age."

"Hm?"

"Argent." He looked up at his grandpa. "I'd rather not admit this, but in the end, you're a symbol."

"Symbol?"

"A human child being taught the ways of the Faunus," Byakko began. "Whose teachers are Faunus, who learned a great many things from Menagerie, and was even taught our ways of combat. The most important aspect? That human child is the heir to the human's greatest champion. What do you think would happen for Faunus kind if humanity saw us train their next hero?"

Argent thought of it for a bit. "Oh. . . So, I'm a bit of a political power move?"

"I hate how accurate that statement is," Ghira sighed.

"However, that doesn't change the fact that you have the potential and talent to learn the Tiger God Style. I hope you accept this offer."

Argent looked down, thinking for a bit. Then, he began to blush before rubbing his cheek. "Aunt Velvet is going to leave a really big kiss mark on my cheek for doing this," he said in embarrassment. "Lyra teased me for a whole month last time Aunt Velvet kissed me. And all because I did a report on my favorite school teacher. How is she going to react when she finds out I'm a Beast God of two different styles?"

Byakko chuckled. "I'm sure we will learn when you and your father come to train."

"Shishishi. I guess so."

Ghira laughed. "Splendid! And this is why I consider you family, my boy," Ghira said as he rubbed Argent's head.

"Shishishi. Oh, one more thing."

"Yes," Byakko went.

"No offense, but it almost feels like you're rushing toward something." Byakko's smile sullied a bit, while Ghira's smile also turned a bit sad. "Is there something the matter?"

Byakko sighed. "Truly, this boy even has the instincts for Tiger Style."

"Wait, is something going to happen," Argent asked in worry.

The adults were quiet for a bit. Then, Byakko sighed. "In martial arts, a calm and disciplined mind is needed for optimal and efficient use. The Tiger God Style is no exception. As such, meditation is an integral part of training. Mine is no exception. Except, maybe thanks to my Semblance, my meditation allows me to... SEE."

"Your Semblance?"

"Tiger Instincts. My body is able to react to nearly anything and everything. An attack from behind, an assassination attempt, a random coconut about to fall on my head, and even that minute insignificant weakness my enemy may be trying to hide. Think of it as having perfect reflexes and also being very lucky and being very good at guessing."

"Or having your LCK STATS maxed out in an RPG?"

Byakko chuckled. "If you want to see it as such, yes." His smile then went away. "It also... helps me see farther beyond while meditating."

"Wait... YOU CAN SEE THE FUTURE?!"

"It isn't clear cut. It's like waking up from a dream. Vague but still somewhat memorable. I've never been able to fully understand my dreams, but they have always come true in one way or another. For example, I once dreamed that a group of vicious dragons attacked a small and peaceful island, and the queen was about to be eaten by one of the beasts. However, a knight appeared, protecting the Queen, and slaying all of the dragons."

Argent's eyes widened. "You predicted Dad saving Menagerie."

Byakko nodded. "I also dreamed of two wolves and their cub walking into a jungle, a family of cats welcoming them into their home, the male wolf meeting other animals while the cub was taught the ways of the jungle with other young beasts."

"You knew we were coming to Menagerie!" Byakko nodded again. "What else did you dream of," Argent asked with sparkling eyes.

That's when the air got heavy, and Argent immediately felt it.

"It dreamed... of a storm. A vicious and powerful storm. It seemed unstoppable. Something seemed to be within it. A monster, filled with hatred, rage, and even envy. It tore apart all in its path. But one stood in its path. A hero clad in shadow with five great beasts at his side.

"Dad... and the Beast Gods."

"Their battle against the monster was fierce. . . but my dream ended before I could see the conclusion."

"You were woken up?"

"No. My dream ended... when the White Tiger was slain."
