Ch 139: Nature Loud

Here is a parody of the episode: Nature Pants

The chapter begins with Dream Lana unclogging the sink. Then she looks out the window as she notices the Loud family pets having fun outside. The plumber decides to join them, opening the window and jumping over to them. Then she turns into a skunk and they all run into the wild forest. She then hears Lynn Sr's voice.

Lynn Sr: Lana? Lana!

Shows the reality of Lana in the kitchen. The sink faucet is on and water is flooding the kitchen.

Lynn Sr: Wake up, honey! You're flooding the kitchen!

Lana wakes up from her dream and screams. Then she turns off the sink. Hops passes by riding in a bowl to get over to his owner. Lana picks him up.

Lana: Sorry guys.

The other Loud siblings hear the commotion and see the flooded kitchen.

Lincoln: Looks like Lana's been distracted again.

Lola: (sighs) Lana, I think it's time we have a talk.

Cut to Lana and the other kids in the living room.

Lola: What's wrong sis?

Lana: Well, I…

Lola: This is the fourth time this week you've messed something up instead of fixing it.

Lana: Well, I've been thinking.

Lisa: We need to get you thinking about your work.

Lana: No offense, guys, but I've been thinking about giving up my cold industrial life in favor of a more natural and free life among the wild animals.

The Loud siblings laugh for a very long time. Cut to an aerial view of the Loud house, then back to inside where the kids are in the hallway.

Lana: What? What's so funny?

Luna: Ah, dude, we know you like animals and nature and all that but even you wouldn't last one day in the wild.

Lola: This is your natural habitat. [shows the twins bedroom] This is your wide open range. [shows the bathroom] These are your amber waves. [turns on the bathtub to show the running water as waves] And this? [picks up a wrench from the bathroom cabinet] Oh, this is your golden scepter, with which you rule! Now that's better than nasty wild animals, right Lana? [Lana is gone] Lana?

Lana: [walks out the house] I can too last more than one day. I'll show them. [throws her hat on the ground]

Lola: Lana, wait! [sees Lola's hat on the ground and gasps, revealing the hat has been dropped. The other kids are surprised when they see this too]

Lincoln: Oh, she'll be back, alright. She'll be back.

Later in the garage, Lana is giving away her stuff to her fellow siblings.

Lana: And Lucy, I want you to have my chewed up gum. [hands her a jar of gum]

Lucy: I prefer if they were organs, but this is fine.

Lana gives her a disturbed look.

Lola: [teary-eyed] Are-are-are-are you sure you want to give me this back scratcher? [shows her Lana's backscratcher]

Lana: It's all yours.

Lola holds up a collection of mud sculptures.

Lola: A-a-and these old mud sculptures?

Lana: All yours, sis. [walks off and comes back with a case] Lola, there is one more thing I want you to have. [Opens up a rectangular box that has the words "Big Bertha" on the front. A glowing plunger is inside. Lola gasps and pants with excitement as she throws the mud collection away and picks up Big Bertha]

Lola: Oh! B-b-b-Big Bertha? [cries as Leni and Luna enter the garage]

Luna: Hey Lans, did you change your mind about living in the wild?

Lana: Nope. I'm giving up my material possessions to live in the wild with the forest animals.

Leni: Lana, of all the crazy schemes. Why would you want to live in the wild? It's cold and harsh, and you'll get bugs in your hair.

Lana pats Leni's head.

Lana: Oh, oh, Leni. That's exactly the response I would expect from someone who lives the sham of a life I once lived. I'm gonna prove I don't need all this stuff to be happy. [walks away] Maybe someday you'll wise up and join me. Goodbye. [walks behind a bush and changes, then comes out to reveal herself in a skunk suit] It's a good thing I still have this skunk costume from last year. Looks like I won't be needing these. [throws her clothes in the trash and runs away on all fours]

Her siblings see her actions: Lola clearly upset, shaking herself, and the others feeling concerned.

Lynn: Well that just happened.

Luna: I'll give her a week. [walks away]

Luan: I'll give her eleven minutes. [walks away, and the other kids, except for Lola, walk away as well.]

Lola: Lola sad!

Soon, the skunk costumed tomboy is in the woods.

Lana: I'm...home. I'm home! I'm home! I'm home, I'm home, I'm home, I'm home, I'm home, I'm home, I'm home, I'm home, I'm home! [animals knock Lana down as they rush by] Brothers and sisters, wait for me! [bees fly into a hive] Buzz buzz. Buzz buzz. Okay, I'm here! [bees fly out of hive] Wait, I just got here. My animal instincts tell me to go... [sticks her finger in his mouth and then in her ear] ...that way. [points to where the animals went]

She runs after animals all over the fields. She sees a group of frogs devouring a bunch of flies. Lana decides to try it, acting like a frog and catching the flies with her tongue and of course, she enjoys it.

Lana: This is the life. [notices other animals are in the middle of the woods and Lana starts walking into the middle of the group] Hey, everybody, nice to meet you. How's it going? Nice day today. Hey, what's the buzz? [wants to shake a skunk's hand] Hello, I'm Skunk Lana, and you are? [the skunk shakes her hand and says gibberish] Uhh... nice to meet you.

The skunk runs away. Lana smells some aroma and goes to check and see that some of her siblings are having a picnic with Burpin Burger.

Lincoln: Here, Lola, have a Burpin' Burger! [whispers into Lola's ear] There she is, Lola. Say your line.

Lola: [reading off her script] "Why, thank you, Lincoln, I would love one. (take burger)." [takes the burger] "Too bad Lana isn't here. These are her favorites. I sure wish she'd come home. (take bite)." [sniffles. tries to take a bite, but throws the burger and the script away and turns to her twin sister] I can't do it! Lana! Come back!

Lana: Lola, I'm not coming home.

Lana: I miss you! [cut to Lincoln and the others waving hello, but in a guilty manner because of set-up] We all miss you! Even Mr. Grouse misses you!

Cut to Mr. Grouse just sunbathing on his lawn at his home while drinking lemonade. Cut back to the woods.

Lana: I'm happy here. This is my home now. [Leni drags Lola away as the siblings decide to go back home]

Lola: No! Lana!

Later, Lana sees a group of snakes wiggling their bodies. She comes in and follows their patterns.

Lana: Hey, everybody! I'm back! I think I'm getting the hang of this.

Suddenly, the snakes zoom away as a net is swung at Lana, which knocks her over. Out of nowhere, Lola, breathing heavily in anger, is ready to capture Lola with a net.

Lana: Lola! What are you doing?

Lola: [eyes tearing] If I can't have you as a sister, I'm gonna make you a trophy! [Violently swings her net once, as if to catch a small animal. She then shows a cage with a label on the front that reads "Lana Loud- Sister"] I even picked out this nice cage for you!

Lana: [terrified] Lola! Go home! I'm a wild animal now!

The pageant girl swings the net at her twin sister but Lana runs away. Lola does a war cry. After hearing Lola's war cry, Lana runs away and hides behind a rock while breathing heavily but the rock is actually a giant turtle's shell. The turtle wakes up and walks away. Lana flees from the roaring Lola. Lola continues making a war cry and then begins to chase her costumed sister. Lana then hides behind a rock.

Lola: I can see you there! [Lana hides behind a bush] I still see you! [Lana hides behind another rock] You're gonna look good on my mantel! [Lana continues fleeing from Lola] Sisters forever, Lana!

Lana runs underneath an arch rock and gasps for oxygen. He spots Lola underneath the rock on the top.

Lola: [savaged look] I got you now, Lana! [falls on the ground and misses Lana]

Lana: Lola! No!

Lola runs after Lana again as Lana hides in a cave. Lola looks around as she can't find Lana.

Lola: Okay! So this is the way it's gonna be. I hope you're happy! [snaps the net in half over her knee and walks away, sobbing]

Lana: Well, glad that's over. Back to animal matters. [she looks in the cave and sees three seemingly cute bear cubs] Oh, hi little ones. Don't be afraid. I'm a wild animal just like you.

Then the mama bear returns to the cave and sees Lana with her cubs. The mama bear then growls, getting Lana's attention.

Lana: Hey there. You must be the mama.

The mother roars at Lana and tries to chomp her and Lana screams. The tomboy immediately runs out of the cave as the primal bear family chases after.

Later at night, poor Lana is forced to sleep out in the open. She sits on the grass, shivering, all blue from coldness, and accompanied only by some weeds.

Lana: [feeling burnt out emotionally] Being a wild animal sure is fun. [rips off a bushel of grass] [pushes a rock over as she uses it for her pillow, then pushes the rock aside and gets cold. She then feels itchy] Hey! Eww, I'm itchy! Itchy, why am I so itchy?! [looks in her costume and sees some bugs crawling on her skin] [screams] Get off! Get off! Get off!

Lana screams and scratches the insects off of her and runs her over to scratch them off against a big rock.

Lana: Ow, ow, oh, itches. Ow, ow, itches. [Continues speaking in pain, and crawls on the ground to stop the itching.]

Later, Lana is walking home, back to Royal Woods, at night. She looks sad and miserable and then she walks up to her father's restaurant where there's a closed sign at the front door.

Lana: Dad's restaurant.

She walks past a friend's house and sees her friends having a sleepover.

Lana: [sniffles] My friends.

The tomboy finally goes home and up to the Loud house.

Lana: What have I done? I had a great life and friends, and I gave all of that up.

Lana opens the door. The light turns on. Her siblings, parents, and pets are there to welcome her home.

Loud family: Welcome home, Lana! [Luan blows a party blower]

Lana: You guys are the best! I made a huge mistake. Please forgive me!

Lynn: Ah, quit your blubbering and have a Burpin' Burger. [hands her a burger]

Lana: Don't mind if I do. [eats it]

Rita: And hopefully you'll stay focused on your plumbing now.

Lana: Oh trust me, I will.

Lola: Lana, don't ever leave me again! [hugs her twin sister]

Lana: I won't. [hugs her sister back and everyone else joins in for a group hug, including Hops.]

Hops: Ribbit.

Then everyone stops hugging.

Leni: Leni itchy!

Everyone but Lana starts to scratch themselves and crawl on the floor.

Lana: It is great to be home!
