Hey folks! I'm pretty sure this is what a lot of you have been waiting for. After the IzuBecca Summer Arc, we're finally ready to hit the training camp! I know a lot of you are excited to see what's ahead, so I'll keep this opening brief.
There are going to be big changes in both this arc and others following it. Some characters will be getting more focus than they did in the canon, and there'll be a lot of crazy reveals here and there. So be warned, it's going to be quite a ride. With all that said, let's jump right into it!
THROUGH THE ROUGH
Rebecca flinched from the summer sun as she opened her apartment door, dressed in her U.A. uniform, though without her jacket. Happy was in her arms, meowing contently as his owner giggled, having both her book bag and a duffel in hand. Today was the day that the Hero Course classes would be departing for their training camp.
There was a delay after what had happened at the Kiyashi Ward Shopping Mall, just to make sure that no villains were on the lookout for the students. It didn't bother the Leaper Quirk user all that much, especially as she got to spend time with her new boyfriend in Izuku. She hummed happily as she reached the train, getting aboard and heading off to school.
A yawn left her lips as she got off at the station a little while later. She blinked in surprise and smiled to find the One For All inheritor standing at the platform. He took notice of her, giving off a laugh.
"So you're leaving Happy with Witch for the time being?" he inquired as they were trekking down the street toward the school.
"Yeah," his girlfriend confirmed with a nod, "Aside from the fact that I didn't wanna hand him over to your mom last minute again," she started to explain, "we're gonna be gone for a few weeks," she pointed out, "Pretty sure Happy's gonna need someone to take care of him for a while, and who better?" she questioned.
"True," Izuku responded with another chuckle.
"Oh, Midoriya!" Eijiro's voice called out, getting their attentions as they saw the Hardening Quirk user waving to them from the front gate. After meeting up with their classmates, the couple separated for a bit. Rebecca handed off her cat to Witch, while Shota watched from afar with a somewhat envious expression.
"Midoriya, you gotta tell me your secret!" Minoru begged of the One For All inheritor, going down onto his knees with his hands held together in front of his face, "Please tell me how to get the babes like you!" he pleaded on.
"Mineta…" Izuku sighed out.
"Dude, you gotta let go of that…" Denki insisted, picking the Pop Off Quirk user off the ground.
"For real…" Eijiro agreed, "Anyways, how's the relationship going?" he asked of the One For All inheritor, getting his attention.
"Oh, great!" he replied, "We went out to see a movie the other night," he noted, "It was that superhero one about a… wizard, I think…" he tried to recall, sheepishly scratching at his right cheek.
"Oh, Doctor Strange!" Hanta exclaimed upon remembering, "Yeah, that was pretty cool!" he pointed out, putting his hands onto his hips, "Saw it a few days ago…" he mentioned.
"Isn't that one of the movies part of like a… series of them?" Eijiro inquired, raising an eyebrow.
"Yeah, and I figured that out the hard way…" Izuku admitted sheepishly, "We're actually gonna try and watch those other superhero movies as part of a series," he told the boys.
"Whoa, that's a relationship goal!" Denki remarked.
"Sounds like a real swell time for you two!" Eijiro added.
"Indeed!" Tenya agreed as he suddenly came over and put his hand onto the freckled teen's left shoulder, "That said, I do hope your new relationship isn't going to hinder your progress, Midoriya," he said, causing him to flinch.
"N-No, sir!" he stammered out, stiffening up. The other boys chuckled at how flustered he seemed. In truth, there were a little envious of him, but also happy.
"Ugh…" Mina groaned out.
"Come on, get a grip…" Kyoka insisted of the Acid Quirk user as Rebecca approached.
"Hey!" she greeted, taking notice of how slouched over the pink-skinned girl was, "Uh… is something wrong?" she asked out of concern.
"Oh… well…" Momo started to reply, clearing her throat, "We just found out who else in the faculty is coming on the trip…" she noted, pointing toward one of the buses. The Leaper Quirk user glanced over to see none other than Sister there, talking with Shota and Sekijiro. She took notice of the Class A girls, letting off a smirk towards them.
"Huh…" Rebecca sighed, remembering the rather promiscuous way the Shining Star Hero had defeated Mina during the practical portion of the finals, "Well, at least we've got someone taking care of us," she pointed out, trying to look on the bright side. However, the Acid Quirk user wasn't buying it.
"Just let me stay at school for all I care!" she wailed as she tried to run off, only for Tsuyu's long tongue to wrap around her waist and pull her back, "Anything but dealing with her!" she yelled out.
"Sheesh…" Kyoka grumbled out, "So Bluegarden, how's things with Midoriya?" she asked curiously, getting the attention of the Leaper Quirk user.
"Oh, they're great!" she responded with a smile, "After camp, I think we're gonna try and do some more movie nights together," she confirmed, "Along with some other dating stuff," she added with a giggle.
"Glad to see that the relationship's working to its full potential!" Ochaco remarked.
"I think it's great, ribbit," Tsuyu croaked while pulling the depressed Mina back.
"Yeah, totally!" Toru agreed. Rebecca was happy that the girls were so supportive of the relationship. She didn't notice Shota staring at her with narrowed eyes.
"Something wrong, Eraser?" Sekijiro asked of him.
"Huh…" he sighed, "I just remembered that there might be something that gives me even more of a headache during this training camp…" he grumbled as he walked away. As Class B and the rest of Class A trickled in to board their buses, Izuku took notice of Katsuki glancing back at him. After everything that happened on I-Island up to now, their rivalry hadn't subsided in the least. It was only a matter of time before it would really kick off again.
OPENING
Insert "ODD FUTURE" by UVERworld
Opens with Izuku and Rebecca getting into lunging stances before taking off into the distance as a bright blue sky looms overhead. We see a scene of Nana Shimura holding out her gloved hand to a skinny All Might, who accepts it as a light shines between their palms. A bright light flashes across the screen.
We cut to the rest of Class 1-A running together at the campground in their P.E. clothes, with Shiki leading the way as he leaps ahead. Ochaco and Momo are staring at him from behind somewhat longingly. But once they notice each other staring at him, they blush and look away.
Elsewhere around the camp, we see Homura using her energy blades to slash down mounds of earth formed by Pixie Bob, Shoto practicing with shooting his flames from his left arm, followed by unleashing a wave of ice from his right foot, Weisz remodeling multiple machines to practice more with his Quirk, and Katsuki unleashing large explosions up into the sky. As Izuku takes a moment to catch his breath, he looks over to see Rebecca running alongside Tenya. She spots her boyfriend and shoots him a warm smile, which he returns as he blushes.
However, that happiness is shattered as the forest is engulfed in blue flames that evening, courtesy of Dabi. He's joined by Himiko, Twice, Compress, Mustard, Muscular, Moonfish, Laguna, Fie, Daichi, Maria, and Shura. The latter of the group floats up and has Ether Gear markings expand along his right arm as he aims it down at the ground, which suddenly caves in. He grins wickedly as he dives toward Shiki, who retaliates with a Gravity Fist.
We see Laguna turning to face off with Weisz, who equips into his Arsenal armor before dashing out at him. Meanwhile, Daichi emerges from the ground, joining Maria in confronting Rebecca and Kyoka, who stand back-to-back and grimace. Izuku is in battle against Muscular, lunging forward and rearing his right fist back for a full-powered punch.
The scene changes to Drakken Joe atop a roof as the wind rushes around him. He's approached by Jaguar, who stares at him indignantly. A leaf blows by, revealing a flashback of the two confronting on the same rooftop. Drakken doesn't look like he's aged a day since then.
We cut to Tomura being approached by All For One, who rests his hand onto his head gently. Several Nomu emerge behind him, ready to act on command. We get a shot of Poseidon Nero, who opens his eyes as his dice rattle in his hands. We also see Noah Glenfield, who closes a book as he approaches the desk of Nezu at U.A.
All Might arrives, landing down mightily to confront All For One, roaring as his eyes glare onto his foe. There are several shots of Mirko, Endeavor, Justice, Holy, Eraser, Feather, Cure, Jaguar, Edgeshot, Kamui Woods, Gang Orca, and Eraser Head, with all of them battling against enemy forces.
We end on Izuku and Rebecca standing up alongside All Might, staring out determinedly towards the horizon, ready to go and save the world.
END OPENING
"Come on… come on…" Rebecca grumbled as she fiddled with the controls on her Switch, playing a fighter game against a computer opponent. She was sitting next to Kyoka on the bus, while her boyfriend was with Tenya. The Earphone Jack Quirk user would glance over at her every few seconds out of curiosity.
"Is this co-op?" she asked, getting her classmate's attention.
"Man, I can't wait for camp!" Shiki exclaimed with his fists pumped up, "We're gonna get stronger and stronger until we're unstoppable!" he declared excitedly as he stood up.
"Granbell, please sit down!" Tenya called out.
"Oh, sorry!" the Satan Gravity Quirk user apologized, sitting down and chuckling sheepishly. Watching from afar somewhat longingly at him were both Ochaco and Momo. However, once they both realized they were looking at him, they blushed and turned away.
"I'm kinda annoyed that they haven't told us where we're going…" Weisz admitted while adjusting his watch around his right wrist.
"Well, it's obvious why…" Minoru pointed out, sitting next to him, "Since Midoriya almost got killed by that villain guy at the mall, they needed to make sure all of us were taken somewhere safe," he explained.
"And besides, the less people know, the better," Rebecca added as she and Kyoka were now playing against each other, focused on the Switch screen in front of them as they rapidly moved their joysticks and pressed buttons constantly.
"Hm," Weisz huffed, putting his left hand up onto his chin as he stared outside, "Why do I get the feeling it's not that easy…?" he wondered aloud. The trip continued for a little while longer before the bus finally reached what looked to be a rest stop. Minoru was frantically looking for a place to pee, while everyone got out to stretch their legs.
"Hey, what kind of rest stop is this?" Hanta asked as he looked around. There wasn't a single thing in sight, other than the lookout toward the sprawling forest below.
"Where's the bathroom?!" the Pop Off Quirk user cried out frantically in question. Sister chuckled, standing alongside Eraser.
"You wanna tell 'em?" she inquired, earning a groan from him.
"We stopped here for a reason," he told his class. Most of the students blinked in confusion. Then, Izuku noticed the car that was also parked by the lookout.
"Heya, Eraser!" a feminine voice greeted, "Great to see ya!" she mentioned. The group turned to find both Pixie Bob and Mandalay there, heroes part of the Wild, Wild Pussycats, a hero team that specialized in mountain rescue operations. At least, that's what the One For All inheritor told everyone excitedly.
"Leave it to Midoriya to be the fanboy of the class…" Kyoka remarked as she put her hands onto her hips, "Hope you don't get sick of that, Bluegarden," she added to the Leaper Quirk user. She didn't respond. "Uh, Bluegarden?" the Earphone Jack Quirk user uttered in concern, looking over at her. To her surprise, Rebecca's eyes were sparkling at the sight of the two heroes.
"OHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHOHMYGOSH!" she exclaimed, instantaneously zipping to the pair of cat-themed heroes, who yelped in surprise, "You're the Wild, Wild Pussycats!" she noted excitedly, "Pixie Bob, the earth-moving beauty that can't be tamed!" she pointed out, "And Mandalay, the super cool telepath with the greatest looks!" she mentioned happily, "Oh man, this is a dream come true!" she exclaimed with delight. Her classmates looked on with bewildered expressions.
"Who would've thought someone would be more of a hero fan than Midoriya…" Eijiro remarked, putting his hands onto his hips.
"No kidding…" Kyoka said.
"I'm quite surprised myself, Midoriya…" Tenya quietly admitted to the freckled teen.
"I'm not," he responded with a shake of his head and a smile, "Rebecca's been a big fan of the Pussycats ever since she was a little kid," he pointed out, "She even got me to dress with her one year for Halloween as Tiger…" he remembered, sheepishly scratching his right cheek.
"Aw, that's adorable!" Toru gushed.
"Can I please get your autographs?!" the Leaper Quirk user begged of the Pussycats, "Oh, I get should get something for you to write with and write on!" she realized, about to hurry off. However, she tripped as Shota's scarf ensnared her left ankle, making her fall flat on her face in a yelp.
"Rebecca!" Ochaco cried out.
"Hey, not cool, Mister Aizawa!" Minoru shouted.
"You're not here to just mingle around, remember?" he retorted to the class, causing them to blink out of confusion.
"Anyways…" Mandalay chimed in, "this whole spread of land out here is owned by our team!" she confirmed to the class, "Where you'll be staying is at the foot of the mountain over there!" she noted, gesturing toward the distance beyond the lookout.
"That's so far!" Mina noted.
"But then… why'd we stop here?" Hanta asked with a tilt of his head. Weisz perked up slightly, along with the likes of Katsuki, Tenya, Izuku, Homura, and Rebecca.
"Let's see…" Mandalay uttered, "It's about nine-thirty now, so…" she continued, "I'm thinking around noon at the earliest…" she decided. Now everyone else was starting to catch on.
"Aw crud…" Eijiro muttered out.
"Quick, back to the bus!" Mina screamed.
"Kitties who don't make it by twelve-thirty won't get any lunch!" Mandalay called out as most of the class scampered away. Unfortunately, they weren't able to reach the bus in time as Pixie-Bob jumped out in front of them. With her gloved hands pressed against the ground, she suddenly made it surge like waves of water, washing over the screaming students and sending them over the edge of the lookout.
"Crap!" Weisz yelped, quickly activating his Quirk as yellow lines of energy spread along his arms. His watch shifted into his Arsenal armor, allowing him to regain his balance in midair. Shoto expelled fire from his left hand to cushion his descent, while Katsuki shot off explosions from his hands. Shiki and Ochaco respectively slowed themselves down with gravity. However, the former of the two took notice of the others still falling, including…
"Momo!" he cried out, quickly flying over to catch her like a princess, landing on the ground with her in his arms, "Are you okay?" he asked immediately in concern. The Creation Quirk user's eyes shook before she started blushing.
"N-No, I'm fine!" she stammered out, covering her reddening face with her hands, "Um… thank you, Shiki…" she added with gratitude. He let off a big grin.
"No prob!" he responded. Meanwhile, Ochaco watched on with a blank, jealous stare before landing. Luckily the fall hadn't been that bad for everyone else, as the ground had been softened beneath them to cushion their fall. Though that didn't make a teary-eyed Rebecca feel any better.
"My autographs…" she whined.
"What the hell was all that about?!" Kyoka yelled angrily in question.
"I'm pretty that was Pixie-Bob's Quirk, Earthflow…" Izuku concluded as he stood up, "Guess this means our training's started…" he realized, looking around to see everyone else picking themselves up from the ground. Minoru was still frantically looking for a place to pee, having held his bladder through all the chaos.
"Feel free to use your Quirks down there to get through the Beast's Forest!" Mandalay called out to the students.
"The Beast's Forest?" Rikido repeated.
"Sounds like something you'd find in a dungeon crawler…" Hanta admitted. Then, he and the others heard growling.
"What is that?" Homura asked, drawing forth a pair of energy blades in her hands. In the woods, Minoru was unzipping the fly of his pants, ready to relieve himself. But then, he saw the monstrous-looking beast beside him.
"Ah," he uttered, his fear overtaking him as he essentially dampened his underwear. The beast was about to attack him, only for Izuku to leap in and grab him, jumping away.
"Koda!" he called out to the Anivoice Quirk user, getting his attention.
"Right!" he responded, hurrying forward, "Please calm down, my giant friend!" he yelled to the beast, "You don't wanna hurt us!" he proclaimed. However, the creature didn't seem to be willing to listen. Rebecca noticed a clump of dirt breaking off of it.
"I get it…" she realized, kicking off her shoes. She wasn't the only one to figure it out, as Katsuki, Homura, Shiki, Tenya, Weisz, Shoto and Momo took on ready stances. The Explosion Quirk user was the first to blast forward, thrusting his palms out at the dirt-formed beast.
"DIEEEEEEEEEEE!" he roared, unleashing a massive explosion onto it. Its body crumbled apart instantaneously.
"Nice one, Bakugo!" Eijiro complimented with a pump of his fist.
"Humph," the Explosion Quirk user scoffed, "You idiots better not slow me down," he remarked back to his classmates, "Especially you, Deku…" he growled additionally to Izuku. However, the One For All inheritor wasn't intimidated, activating his Full Cowling as green sparks of bio-electricity crackled around his body.
"Trust me, I won't," he replied, earning an annoyed glare from his rival.
"Cut the chatter, everyone!" Tenya called out, "If we're going to make it through this forest, we'll need to work together!" he declared.
"Yeah!" Shiki agreed, punching his left hand excitedly, "Let's take these dirt beasts down, too!" he added on.
"We'll get to camp and have ourselves a hearty lunch!" Rebecca proclaimed as her wing-like markings appeared upon her legs, "Let's go beyond…" she continued.
"And be Plus Ultra!" she and most of the class yelled out. They charged into the woods, taking on Pixie-Bob's dirt monsters while also hurrying to the campsite. Up on the lookout, a little boy who was with the two Pussycats gave off an annoyed look.
"Stupid…" he grumbled out.

"Take… THAT!" Rebecca yelled, kicking aside a dirt monster before it collapsed apart into pieces, "Huh… huh…" she breathed heavily, wiping some sweat off of her cheek. Getting through the forest hadn't been as easy as she thought it would've been for her and her classmates. Some, like Denki and Rikido, were using up their stamina through their Quirks rather quickly. Others were enduring their limits, but it was still a struggle.
"How much further…?" Momo asked in between breaths.
"It's actually just up ahead!" Kyoka informed the tired group, having her earlobes plugged into the ground.
"I'm getting there first!" Katsuki declared, blasting himself forward and making the Earphone Jack Quirk user flinch.
"Oh no you don't!" Shiki yelled, flying after him. The two met, essentially wrestling with each other out of the woods into the campground. They stood up, with the Explosion Quirk user grabbing the raven-haired teen's dress shirt.
"The hell's your problem, you damn gravity freak?!" he roared in question.
"What about you, spiky head?!" the Satan Gravity Quirk user retorted, exchanging a fearsome glare with him. Their classmates wandered out of the woods, watching the bickering unfold.
"I shall not say that they remind me of a pair of puppies fighting…" Homura admitted quietly with her left arm over her mouth. Shoto was the only one who overheard, stifling a little chuckle.
"Alright, that's enough!" Momo insisted as she got between Katsuki and Shiki, separating them from each other, "Honestly, you're UA students," she pointed out, "You shouldn't be bickering so childishly over things like this…" she added seriously.
"Tch," the Explosion Quirk user scoffed, turning away.
"Sorry, Momo," Shiki apologized, sheepishly rubbing the back of his head, "Guess I can get a little too competitive…" he admitted with a chuckle. The Creation Quirk user blushed.
"Oh, well… competitiveness is fine…" she assured, fidgeting with her fingers. Ochaco watched on with a blank, jealous stare again.
"Ah…" Rebecca groaned as she rubbed her dirty feet, "Going barefoot in the woods wasn't my best idea…" she admitted sheepishly.
"Here you go," her boyfriend said, handing her a pair of shoes, "Shoji held onto these for you," he pointed out, looking back at the Dupli-Arms Quirk user, who nodded and shot him and his girlfriend a thumbs up.
"Thanks, Shoji!" Rebecca called out gratefully, "And thank you for getting us through this…" she mentioned to her boyfriend, granting him a kiss on his right cheek. He blushed a bright red.
"W-Well… it wasn't just me…" he stuttered in claim. As everyone took time to catch their breaths, the Pussycats and Shota approached, having arrived at the campground a while ago. They congratulated the class on getting through the forest in record time, far exceeding what they expected. The Erasure Hero didn't seem all that congratulatory, but Rebecca could tell that he was proud of his class.
"So, now's about time for some grub, right?" Eijiro guessed excitedly as steam puffed out from his nostrils.
"Yeah, we're starving!" Mina pointed out, drooling a little. Pixie-Bob and Mandalay shared a nervous glance.
"Well, the deal was that kittens who didn't make it by twelve-thirty don't get lunch…" the latter of the two pointed out, holding up her phone to the class, "And well…" she continued, showing that it was exactly 1:00 P.M. on her device, "you just barely missed the mark…" she confirmed.
"WE WERE LATE BY JUST HALF AN HOUR?!" most of the class screamed in disbelief.
"Huh…" Shota sighed, "Simmer down," he advised of the class, "Like we said, you far exceeded our expectations out there," he told them.
"Mm-hmm," Pixie-Bob agreed with a nod, "Especially… you six over there," she pointed out, looking slyly towards Izuku, Katsuki, Shiki, Weisz, Shoto, and Tenya, "You really helped pull your class through some tough stuff in those woods…" she mentioned, "I call dibs on these kittens!" she proclaimed as she suddenly lunged out at them, "I'll groom them myself!" she declared.
"Ah, hey…!" the One For All inheritor yelped, bracing himself as the blonde-haired Pussycat started fussing over him and the other boys. Weisz didn't seem to mind as he blushed with a dopey smile on his face, while Shiki was just confused. Ochaco and Momo looked on with blank, jealous stares.
"Pixie-Bob's bias aside due to being at that age…" Mandalay chimed in as she approached, "most of you girls did pretty well yourselves," she noted, "I'd say the ones that impressed were Kogetsu and Asui the most," she admitted, causing both girls in question to perk up in surprise.
"Wow, that's awesome!" Ochaco complimented.
"Well done, you two!" Momo added as she clapped her hands together. Rebecca was happy for her classmates, but was also a bit frustrated. She didn't get the chance to impress her idols from what it seemed.
"Oh, Bluegarden," Mandalay chimed in, getting her attention, "I believe I owe you an autograph," she realized, handing her a signed box of a bobble-head doll that was her likeness. The Leaper Quirk user shook with delight before accepting the gift, tearing up a little.
"This is the greatest day of my life…!" she proclaimed happily, making the Telepath Quirk user laugh. Izuku glanced over at her while still being bombarded by Pixie-Bob, smiling at the sight of his elated girlfriend. But then he noticed the capped boy he remembered seeing back at the lookout with the Pussycats.
"Um… who is that kid?" he asked before the Earthflow Quirk user put her gloved right hand against his face.
"Oh, that's my late cousin's son!" Mandalay replied upon overhearing, causing the rest of the group to look over at the boy, "Kota, go ahead and say hi!" she insisted of him. He didn't budge, turning away.
"Huh?" Rebecca uttered in confusion.
"Hi there," her boyfriend greeted as he approached the boy, "I'm from the UA High School's Hero Course," he introduced as he crouched down to his eye level, "My name's Midoriya," he mentioned, not noticing Kota rearing his right arm back, "It's nice to meet—" He didn't even get a chance to finish his greeting as the boy punched him directly in the crotch. A pained squawk left his lips as he clutched his hurting manhood, paling as he fell to his knees.
"Midoriya, no!" Tenya cried out as he sped over to catch his friend before he could pass out, "You fiend of a child!" he yelled to the capped boy, who was walking away, "A punch to the scrotum is unforgivable!" he shouted. Rebecca was processing what she had just seen. She handed her autographed bobble-head off to Kyoka as she walked over.
"The last thing I want to hang with some wannabe hero…!" Kota growled out.
"Wannabe?!" Tenya repeated in shock, "How old are you, kid?!" he questioned.
"Exactly!" the Leaper Quirk user chimed in, standing in front of the capped boy to get his attention, "You don't get to just go around and punch people like that!" she shouted as she bent over, "Especially since that guy happens to be my—!" Before she could finish her remarks, Kota kicked her right shin. "YEOW!" she yelped, hopping up and down as she grabbed her leg, "You little brat…!" she snarled, about to hop after him, only to end up falling onto her stomach, "Ugh…" she groaned.
"Rebecca!" Toru cried out as she and Ochaco went over to help pick the Leaper Quirk user off of the ground.
"Huh…" Shota sighed again.
"I'm so sorry, Eraser…" Mandalay apologized, "Kota is…" she started to say.
"Don't worry, I get it," the Erasure Hero assured, glancing back at the capped boy, "Not everyone's a fan of heroes…" he noted.

The next few hours until sunset were almost awful for the class. Luckily for them, they were able to set their beds up in their respective lodgings, along with having time to relax before dinner. The growling of some stomachs made things even harder. Fortunately, it wasn't too long before the cafeteria was opened up for the class, allowing them to go ahead and eat as much as they wanted.
"So where the heck's Class B at?" Hanta wondered while chewing on his food.
"I heard tale that they're still recovering from the Beast's Forest," Fumikage answered, gorging on some rice, "It's why we weren't scheduled to eat until now," he mentioned.
"After this, we're gonna have a great night at the hot springs!" Mina proclaimed with her arms outstretched.
"Oh, someone sounds excited…" a familiar voice chimed in, belonging to none other than Sister as she placed a hand onto the Acid Quirk user's shoulder, making her shiver, "Just remember, you're all gonna get put through the wringer, starting tomorrow…" she told the students at the table, leaning closer to the pink-skinned girl, "Some more than others…" she added as she blew a puff of air against Mina's ear. She snickered, walking off.
"…Is there a way I call out sick before tomorrow?" the Acid Quirk user asked of her classmates blankly.
"I do not believe so," Homura answered before enjoying a piece of pork. The pink-skinned girl whimpered as the others tried to comfort her. Meanwhile, Rebecca was lost in thought, staring at her food. She remembered everything that had happened up to now, wondering if she was actually getting stronger as a hero-in-training, or was just tailing behind people far exceeding her. Melissa's question to her about the kind of hero she wanted to be rang in her head.
"Hey, Rebecca?" Tsuyu's voice chimed in, getting her attention, "We're almost ready to go to the hot spring," she pointed out, "You need more time to finish?" she inquired, noticing how full the Leaper Quirk user's plate still seemed.
"Oh, uh, sorry!" she apologized, quickly going ahead and gorging on the rest of her food pretty quickly, washing it down with a glass of water, "All set!" she exclaimed.
"…Damn, girl," Kyoka uttered, "You and Yaomomo must have crazy good metabolism…" she noted with her hand on her right cheek.
"What was that?" Rebecca inquired, arching an eyebrow.
"Uh, n-nothing…" the Earphone Jack Quirk user stammered. It wasn't long before the girls were all relaxing in the hot spring underneath the clear night sky.
"Huh…" Rebecca sighed contently, "It's so beautiful out…" she noted.
"I know…" Toru agreed, sitting next to her in the water with a towel upon her invisible head, "And we get this view for three whole weeks!" she mentioned excitedly.
"Yes… the view is quite incredible…" Homura agreed with a grimace, causing everyone to look over at her in concern, "It's a good compliment to this training…!" she added, clenching her teeth together.
"Uh… Homura?" Ochaco uttered out.
"Are you alright?" Momo asked in concern.
"Such heat from this water is nothing any ordinary person can handle…" the Soul Blade Quirk user noted as she trembled, "It's perfect for training one's endurance!" she proclaimed. The girls around her all blinked twice.
'So Homura's not good with heat, huh?' Rebecca realized, letting a silent chuckle escape her lips. She glanced back at the wall separating their hot spring from the boys'.
"Wait, are you serious?" Denki inquired of Eijiro, sitting in the water next to him.
"Yeah," he answered with a nod, "Sounds awesome, right?" he assumed, turning to the others in the water.
"Definitely," Mashirao agreed.
"I guess getting to the camp earlier than expected helps take away some of the punishment from failing the practical," Mezo noted. Overhearing that, Mina felt herself slump over in defeat. She was the only girl of the class that failed in the practical portion of the finals of the first semester.
"There, there…" Ochaco uttered, patting her on the back. On the boys' side, Izuku sighed with relief as he relaxed his body in the water. This feeling would be very rewarding day after day.
"Psst… Midoriya!" Minoru whispered, getting his attention as he spotted him standing by the tall wall between them and the girls' side.
"Mineta… what are you doing?" Izuku asked, already sounding annoyed.
"Look, I'll level with you," the Pop Off Quirk user said as he approached, "I'm gonna climb that wall to sneak a peek on the girls," he admitted with a determined look in his eyes.
"Wh—?! Mineta, that's—!"
"But I promise, I'll try not to look at Rebecca, no matter how tempting her beautiful body might be," he vowed, giving the One For All inheritor a thumbs up and a wink.
"That's not the problem!" he shouted back. On the girls' side, Kyoka perked up.
"Oh boy…" she muttered out, getting the attentions of her female classmates, "Sounds like our local pervert's up to something…" she grumbled.
"Again?" Mina inquired, "Didn't he learn his lesson the last time when Midoriya threatened to punch the daylights out of him?" she questioned on.
"Evidently not…" Momo sighed out.
"Can you tell what's happening, Kyoka?" Rebecca asked of the Earphone Jack Quirk user, who extended her cable-like earlobes, plugging them into the wall.
"Sounds like Iida's getting involved…" she answered as she concentrated, "Oh, now Steiner wants to start sneaking peeks on us?!" she questioned, clenching her teeth angrily, "Wait…" she uttered, causing everyone to blink in surprise, "He's coming up!" she warned of the girls.
"Brace yourselves, everyone!" Momo called out, quickly creating a large blanket from her back to shield herself and the other girls. Minoru was making his way up the wall on the other side, drooling excitedly and thinking he'd be met with a heavenly sight. But instead, he was met with Kota.
"Before you try to become a good hero," he began, "you should learn to be a good human…" he remarked, smacking the Pop Off Quirk user's hand away.
"I'LL GET YOU FOR THIS!" he screamed in dismay. He fell butt first onto Tenya's face before they both fell into the water, splashing their classmates.
"Huh…" Izuku sighed in relief.
"Kyoka, did you hear what happened?" Rebecca asked of the Earphone Jack Quirk user.
"Believe it or not, that brat who kicked you just sent Mineta back down to the spring," she answered to her surprise.
"Wait, seriously?!" Mina exclaimed with a smile, getting out from underneath the blanket, "Thanks so much, Kota babe!" she called out gratefully, causing the capped boy to perk up and look back at her, "We owe ya one!" she added. She hadn't realized that she was exposing herself to Kota, causing him to gasp in shock and topple over.
"Oh crap!" Kyoka yelped upon noticing.
"Mina!" Rebecca shouted.
"Oopsie…!" the Acid Quirk user gasped. Fortunately, Izuku was quick to activate his Full Cowling on the other side of the wall, catching Kota. He ended up passing out from his fall, with just a trickle of blood coming out from his nose.
"I'm gonna get him to Mandalay and Pixie-Bob!" he called out, hurrying off with the boy in his arms. On the other side of the wall, the blanket was removed from the girls as they sighed with relief.
"Thank goodness he's alright…" Momo sighed out.
"Yeah, no kidding…" Mina agreed with a sheepish grin. However, that earned a glare from Rebecca, who stood up and grabbed the Acid Quirk user by her left wrist, dragging her off as she yelped in surprise.
"We're gonna go check and make sure Kota's okay," she told her classmates as Mina tried to free herself from her grasp.
"Okay," Ochaco responded, "See you back at the room?" she guessed, earning a nod in response from the Leaper Quirk user. After getting dressed, she and Mina were wandering down the hall of the main building in search of the office where the capped boy had likely been taken too.
"Ugh…" the pink-skinned girl groaned in dismay, "I don't think even think I got the good soak I was hoping for…" she complained, "Why'd you drag me out with you?" she questioned of Rebecca, who was walking ahead of her.
"Because you need to apologize for almost getting Kota killed back there…" she responded, making the Acid Quirk user flinch.
"Okay, okay…" she grumbled out, lowering her head, "Hey, Rebecca…" she uttered, getting her classmate's attention, "I think it's really great that you and Midoriya are together," she told her, causing her to blink in surprise, "Both of you really seem like you're made for each other," she mentioned in a complimentary tone, "When camp's over, I'll be sure to gush over you two!" she promised. The Leaper Quirk user blushed, but then giggled.
"Thanks, Mina," she said in gratitude. As they approached the office where Kota was resting, Izuku was learning about how both of his parents, who were heroes, were killed by a villain. He had never met someone who despised heroes so much, but he was starting to understand why. The boy had a really bad experience.
"Anyways, you might wanna get yourself changed," Mandalay advised, getting his attention, "I appreciate the quick response, but it's a little awkward with you in just a towel…" she pointed out with a cheeky grin, gesturing to the One For All inheritor. He looked down and gasped in realization, blushing a bright red.
"I-I-I-I'm so sorry!" he stammered out, turning around to head to the door, "I'll get dressed right away!" he vowed. At that moment, the door opened to reveal Rebecca and Mina there, about to walk in. However, they stopped upon seeing the freckled teen.
"Ah…" the Leaper Quirk user uttered, her eyes flicking her boyfriend up and down as her face started burning red, "A-Ah…!" she gasped out. She was panicking and didn't know why. She had seen Izuku shirtless before, but that wasn't what was flustering her. It was the fact that he only had a towel on. "UH, WE JUST CAME TO CHECK AND SEE IF KOTA'S OKAY! LOOKS LIKE HE IS! OKAY, THANK YOU! BYE!" she exclaimed, quickly dashing out from the room. The One For All inheritor blinked twice in shock. Mina was just as surprised.
"Uh… I wanted to say sorry for shocking Kota back at the hot spring…" she apologized, bowing to the Pussycats, "Glad to see he's okay," she added.
"No worries," Mandalay assured, "Though you should probably check on Bluegarden to see if she's okay…" she advised.
"Yeah, right!" Mina replied, jogging off, "See ya!" she called out in farewell. Izuku was frozen in shock for a few moments, unsure of what to do next. The Pussycats in the room looked at him worriedly.
"Is that what being in a relationship is like?" Pixie-Bob wondered aloud.
"Who knows…" her teammate remarked with a shrug.

"MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!" Rebecca screamed frantically into her pillow as she rolled around on her mat in the girls' lodging space. Kyoka glanced over at her worriedly.
"So… what exactly happened?" she asked curiously, looking toward Mina.
"Well, we got to the room where Kota was and… Midoriya was there…" she answered.
"So?" the Earphone Jack Quirk user said, arching an eyebrow.
"In just a towel," Mina responded.
"MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!" Rebecca screamed into her pillow again.
"Ah, that makes sense…" Kyoka realized as she let off a smile, "Guess he must've forgot to head back to get dressed after dropping that kid off with the Pussycats," she assumed.
"Maybe he was talking with them about what happened," Mina suggested, "Either way, it was just an accident," she pointed out, going over to pat the Leaper Quirk user on the head, "No need to feel so embarrassed for seeing more of your boyfriend!" she mentioned reassuringly.
"I don't believe that helps…" Momo chimed in.
"Yeah, we'd know…" Ochaco remarked out of agreement, only to blink in realization from what she just said. She and the Creation Quirk user shared a glance before looking away with blushes on their faces. Tsuyu looked on at them, rolling her eyes with a smile.
"Huh…" Rebecca sighed, flipping over onto her back, "Okay, it's whatever…" she grumbled out, "No one got hurt, no one saw anything they shouldn't have…" she listed off, "Let's drop the issue and leave it at that," she insisted, taking a deep breath to calm herself.
"Sounds good, Bluegarden," Kyoka responded, "Up for a round of Smash before bed?" she offered of her.
"Nah, I'd rather get completely rested up for tomorrow…" she replied with a shake of her head, "We had a lot more free time than I think the teachers expected…" she pointed out, letting a yawn escape her lips, "So let's just… call it a night…" she slowly decided, falling fast asleep in an instant.
"I'm with her," Kyoka agreed, lying down in her own bedding, "Night, ladies," she remarked.
"Goodnight, ribbit!" Tsuyu croaked. Everyone fell asleep, preparing for what they'd imagine would be a long day of training. At some point during the evening, Rebecca felt her eyes slowly flutter open. She looked down… and found herself wearing some sort of strange yellow garb, equipped with a skirt and leggings from what she could see.
'Wha…?' she uttered inwardly in confusion, knowing that she didn't go to sleep in… whatever it was that she was wearing at the moment. But that was the least shocking thing about this. She looked up… and saw Izuku looming right over her.
"Rebecca…" he huskily whispered.
'WH-WH-WH-WH-WH-WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING?!' she screamed inwardly with a stutter. She found that she couldn't move her body, rather not of her own free will. She brought her hands up to cup and gently caress her boyfriend's cheeks.
"Izu…" she whispered back.
'Wait, Izu?!' she repeated through her thoughts, wondering why she was playing along with this, 'Why can't I control myself?!' she wondered. She only now just noticed that Izuku was shirtless as he started to lean down in an attempt to kiss her, which she seemed to be ready to reciprocate. And then, Rebecca woke up.
"Huh… huh…" she exhaled heavily as she sat up. She looked around to find that she was still in the camp lodgings, with the rest of her female classmates sleeping nearby. She would've sighed with relief… if not for the realization that just struck her.
The last time she had a dream so vivid, it nearly happened. And in this case, it was dream of her and Izuku not just about to kiss, but from the look of it… Her entire face went red. She brought her pillow up to her face and screamed into it.

Opens with all of Class 1-A standing in front of U.A. together. Izuku and Rebecca stand at the front, with the former balling his left hand into a fist as he looks to the sky. His girlfriend glances over and smiles, happy to see him determined.
We go through a few scenes of Homura shaking as she struggles to withstand the heat of the hot spring, while her fellow female classmates are just fine. Weisz and Minoru attempt to peep on them, only to get struck by wash tops flung at them by Rebecca. They crash down on the other side of the while, with the rest of the boys there shaking their heads.
We see Izuku and Rebecca sleeping against each other on the subway ride back home. Ochaco smiles at them from nearby, but then notices Shiki sleeping on her shoulder and drooling. She screams in surprise, waking him up while also startling everyone in the train car. She blushes in embarrassment, burying her reddening face into her hands.
The scene changes to Homura joining Shoto on an excursion along the beach, where they're joined by their friends. Shoto finds a seashell and offers it to Homura, who accepts with a smile. Mina looks at them excitedly, while Kyoka rolls her eyes and sighs behind her.
We then shift to the class training, with Katsuki racing against Tenya and Weisz with his explosions. Shiki passes them all by to their shock, making him the winner. In the meantime, Rebecca practices kicking with Tsuyu, sharing a smile with her as they work together.
Everyone is doing their best around school, whether in the classroom or in the field. Izuku shares a moment with All Might on the beach before they shake hands firmly. We close out on a scene of some of the class standing on a tower together. Izuku smiles brightly, and Rebecca plants a kiss onto his left cheek under his freckles. She giggles as he blushes, happy to be with him and their friends.

And this is where things really take a turn! Everyone's arrived at summer camp and hormones are running high for some of our heroes! I'm taking a lot of inspiration from certain stories I've read in the past with how this arc played out, and there's gonna be a lot more to a couple things that go on for this one in particular.
