Hey folks! We're closing in on 90 chapters to this story, and there's plenty more content to come! We've finally reached the conclusion of the Hideout Raid Arc, so now we'll be going into a little bit of a mini-arc before getting back into the main story, particularly for some of our heroes.
In the case of Edens Zero, I've always felt that certain characters haven't been explored as much as they could've or should've been. Case in point, the Interstellar Union Agency. There's a lot that we could learn from the characters individually, along with furthering those characters with new developments. There's a few in particular I want to focus on going into the future.
So with all that said, let's dive into what'll be a very interesting start to a new arc! Welcome back to "Through the Rough"!
THROUGH THE ROUGH
"…What did you just say, Cure…?" Holy asked through her phone. All For One had just been secured by the police as was being hauled off to a supermax prison, while All Might had seemingly made his declaration. Now all that was left to deal with was the aftermath of the situation. And things were both better and worse.
"Drakken was already defeated by the time we arrived," her colleague responded over the line, "but there was no time for us to give Jaguar medical attention," he pointed out, "We have Drakken secured and are waiting for the police to arrive," he told her, "What is the situation where you are?" he asked. The Light Quirk user looked around the immediate area, seeing heroes help get civilians out of the rubble amidst the dawning sunlight.
"All Might won the fight," she confirmed as a reply, "We'll be heading back to the agency after this, likely for another Prayer Council," she noted on, "Over and out," she remarked, ending the call.
"Are you alright, Holy?" Edgeshot asked as he approached alongside Kamui Woods, "You were with Jeanist's group when that madman attacked, so…"
"I'm fine," the Light Quirk user interjected reassuringly to his surprise, "More importantly, where is Justice?" she inquired with a cold glare. The Interstellar Hero had just returned to the scene, evidently irritated. Elsie had escaped him yet again.
"Sir!" Creed greeted, saluting him, "Did you…?"
"No, she escaped thanks to her lackeys," Justice interjected, guessing his question, "Seems as if All Might was able to handle that fiend as I thought he would've," he pointed out, not noticing Holy stomping over to him, "If I hadn't dealt with Elsie, then he probably could've—" A resounding smack to his face from the Light Quirk user completely silenced everything. Those in the vicinity looked on in shock. "Holy, what the hell are you—?"
"Jaguar's dead," she said, interrupting the Interstellar Hero, "While we were fighting this battle, he put his life on the line to stop Drakken all by himself," she pointed out as she trembled a little, "Your obsession over Elsie cost us, James," she stated venomously to her colleague, making his eyes widen, "I hope you're happy with what your selfish choices wrought…" she grumbled as she walked past him. Everyone was a bit baffled, looking over to the Interstellar Hero as he had his head lowered. The realization of what the Light Quirk user had told him was finally hitting home. He teared up, clenching his teeth together as he balled his fists.
"Sir…" Creed uttered, while Victory looked on worriedly. From afar atop a building that still stood, Elsie was watching the situation unfold alongside Hyoga, Gowen, and one other man. He was a young man with fair skin and black hair in a bowl cut, covering his eyes. His outfit consisted of a navy suit, with matching pants and boots, that was adorned with silver shoulder pads, gloves, and the lower part of his shirt.
"Based on what's been relayed over comms, Drakken's down, too," he pointed out to the group.
"With one of the Seis in custody, the others are bound to make a response…" Hyoga noted as he grimly narrowed his eyes. The wind raced by the group as Elsie watched on solemnly, seeing All Might being led to the paramedics for treatment. Growing up, he was the person she most admired. So to see him in such a state was too much for her heart to take.
"We should go," she advised of her colleagues, turning around and heading off alongside Hyoga and Jesse. Gowen stayed behind for a moment, looking on at the scene as he clenched his fists.
"Gowen," the Ice Manipulation Quirk user called out, "Come on, we can't stay for much longer," he noted seriously.
"Yeah, I know," his colleague replied, walking after him and the others.
OPENING
Insert "ODD FUTURE" by UVERworld
Opens with Izuku and Rebecca getting into lunging stances before taking off into the distance as a bright blue sky looms overhead. We see a scene of Nana Shimura holding out her gloved hand to a skinny All Might, who accepts it as a light shines between their palms. A bright light flashes across the screen.
We cut to the rest of Class 1-A running together at the campground in their P.E. clothes, with Shiki leading the way as he leaps ahead. Ochaco and Momo are staring at him from behind somewhat longingly. But once they notice each other staring at him, they blush and look away.
Elsewhere around the camp, we see Homura using her energy blades to slash down mounds of earth formed by Pixie Bob, Shoto practicing with shooting his flames from his left arm, followed by unleashing a wave of ice from his right foot, Weisz remodeling multiple machines to practice more with his Quirk, and Katsuki unleashing large explosions up into the sky. As Izuku takes a moment to catch his breath, he looks over to see Rebecca running alongside Tenya. She spots her boyfriend and shoots him a warm smile, which he returns as he blushes.
However, that happiness is shattered as the forest is engulfed in blue flames that evening, courtesy of Dabi. He's joined by Himiko, Twice, Compress, Mustard, Muscular, Moonfish, Laguna, Fie, Daichi, Maria, and Shura. The latter of the group floats up and has Ether Gear markings expand along his right arm as he aims it down at the ground, which suddenly caves in. He grins wickedly as he dives toward Shiki, who retaliates with a Gravity Fist.
We see Laguna turning to face off with Weisz, who equips into his Arsenal armor before dashing out at him. Meanwhile, Daichi emerges from the ground, joining Maria in confronting Rebecca and Kyoka, who stand back-to-back and grimace. Izuku is in battle against Muscular, lunging forward and rearing his right fist back for a full-powered punch.
The scene changes to Drakken Joe atop a roof as the wind rushes around him. He's approached by Jaguar, who stares at him indignantly. A leaf blows by, revealing a flashback of the two confronting on the same rooftop. Drakken doesn't look like he's aged a day since then.
We cut to Tomura being approached by All For One, who rests his hand onto his head gently. Several Nomu emerge behind him, ready to act on command. We get a shot of Poseidon Nero, who opens his eyes as his dice rattle in his hands. We also see Noah Glenfield, who closes a book as he approaches the desk of Nezu at U.A.
All Might arrives, landing down mightily to confront All For One, roaring as his eyes glare onto his foe. There are several shots of Mirko, Endeavor, Justice, Holy, Eraser, Feather, Cure, Jaguar, Edgeshot, Kamui Woods, Gang Orca, and Eraser Head, with all of them battling against enemy forces.
We end on Izuku and Rebecca standing up alongside All Might, staring out determinedly towards the horizon, ready to go and save the world.
END OPENING
"Guys!" Rebecca cried out as her group had finally met up with Katsuki and the others.
"Thank goodness you're alright…" Tenya noted in relief.
"Yeah…" she replied, still a bit shaken up over everything. Her boyfriend put a hand onto her shoulder to reassure her, much to her surprise. She knew that he was taking everything that happened really hard, especially when concerning All Might. But even so, he was still there for her.
"So what the hell is she doing here?" Kyoka asked as she stomped over to Kleene, who flinched.
"Wait a second, Kyoka," Rebecca insisted, getting her attention as she blinked in surprise, "If it wasn't for her, I would've gotten taken against my will again… and Kacchan would be dead…" she noted grimly to everyone's shock, "I think the three of us should go meet up with the police," she suggested, "That way, we can all explain everything that happened," she pointed out.
"Tch," Katsuki scoffed, knowing that she was right. Kleene's eyes shimmered before they started watering. She tried to compose herself, but ultimately started bawling. The Leaper Quirk user gave off a soft smile, reaching over to hug her and hold her close.
"Thank you, Kleene," she said with gratitude, "You saved our lives," she mentioned as the Wind Snatch Quirk user continued to cry. A few minutes later, the police arrived, taking Kleene into custody and also having Katsuki and Rebecca join them for questioning. Izuku noticed that his rival was surprisingly quiet the whole time. Maybe he was just as hurt as him about what had happened.
"Oh my gosh…" Momo uttered, having just checked something on her phone.
"What? What is it?" Kyoka asked as she peeked over the class deputy's shoulder. Everyone else gathered around, gasping a little to see the headline: 'Jaguar dies in wake of defeating Oracion Seis' Drakken Joe! What will the other five do?!'.
"Jaguar… died…?" Izuku uttered in disbelief, remembering how the I.U.A. Hero had saved him and his girlfriend just before facing off with Drakken. Things were starting to feel really surreal. And they'd only feel more so as days went on.
"This way please," an officer advised to Katsuki and Rebecca, leading them into the station. The latter of the two Class A students looked over to see Kleene being taken elsewhere, likely for questioning. She frowned worriedly, hoping that whatever the Wind Snatch Quirk user would tell the officers was enough to help ease her charges, if only a little.
She was sitting in the lobby moments later with Katsuki across from her. Both of them had starkly different expressions. Rebecca seemed frustrated with herself, while the Explosion Quirk user remained calm. Though he did look irritated as he heard the foot-tapping across from him.
"Knock it off," he said, getting the Leaper Quirk user's attention as she flinched, "Danger's over," he pointed out.
"I know that…" she grumbled in response, turning her head away, "It's just…" she tried to say, letting out a sigh, "I'm worried about how everyone's doing after all this…" she confessed solemnly, "All Might ended up… like that and…" she continued, stopping herself as she stared at the floor.
"Nothing we can do about it now," Katsuki pointed out, folding his arms over his chest as he lied back in his seat.
"Right this way," another voice chimed in, getting their attentions as they saw two figures approach. One was a woman with spiky ash-blonde hair similar to the Explosion Quirk user's, having red eyes while wearing a lavender blouse over a white top and a business skirt with high-heeled shoes. The other was a middle-aged man of average height and build who had short brown hair similar in style to his woman beside him, a short mustache and rectangular glasses. He wore a green shirt and khaki pants with loafers.
"Katsuki!" they both exclaimed upon spotting the spiky-haired teen.
"Oh, great…" he grumbled out.
"Mister and Missus Bakugo…" Rebecca uttered. Masaru took notice of the Leaper Quirk user and smiled.
"It's good to see you, Rebecca," he noted, "I can only imagine how frightening things must've been for you the past few nights…" he mentioned, while his wife was embracing an embarrassed Katsuki.
"Yeah…" the ash blonde-haired girl responded.
"Honestly, if you hadn't been so weak, you'd have never gotten yourself captured!" Mitsuki shouted to her son.
"Huh?!" he yelled back as he snarled, "Then what about the cat ditz across from me?!" he shouted, pointing an accusatory finger toward Rebecca, who gawked at it.
"Oh, hello there, Rebecca! It's been such a long time!" Mitsuki noted to the Leaper Quirk user in greeting, "Katsuki, don't you dare call a lady a ditz ever again!" she reprimanded of her son, smacking him upside the head.
'Now I know where he gets it from…' Rebecca mumbled to herself as a drop of sweat rolled down the side of her head.
"Alright, come on you two," Masaru said insistently, "We should get going," he advised on.
"Yeah, you're right," his wife agreed, grabbing her son by his wrist and pulling him out of his seat, "Oh, are you going to need a ride back to your place, Rebecca?" she asked of the Leaper Quirk user, getting her attention.
"No, that's alright…" she replied with a shake of her head, "The police already contacted Witch and said she's on her way to grab me," she pointed out.
"Well, alright then," Mitsuki said as she shrugged, "Take care of yourself, Rebecca," she remarked in farewell, walking off. However, Katsuki stopped for a moment, much to his mother's annoyance as she growled. "Katsuki…!" she snarled out.
"You know…" he began, glancing back over to Rebecca as she perked up, "that was pretty cool…" he admitted to her surprise, "What you did for that wind chick, I mean…" he mentioned, "You're always helping people, even if they don't deserve it…" he recalled, "That's what I like about you," he confessed. The Leaper Quirk user hit a blank for a few seconds. And then it clicked as her face went red.
"Wh-Wh-Wh-Wh-Wh-What?!" she stammered out.
"Katsuki…" Mitsuki uttered in surprise.
"Tch," the Explosion Quirk user scoffed, "Let's just go already…" he grumbled out, trudging away with his parents. Left behind, the flustered Rebecca shook her head to regain her composure. She took deep breaths, calming herself down.
'Can today get any crazier?' she wondered inwardly.
"Miss Bluegarden?" another voice chimed in, getting her attention as she perked up to see Noah there.
"Um… yes?" she responded unsurely, not recognizing who he was.
"Noah Glenfield," he introduced, putting a gloved hand over his chest as he bowed politely, "I'm with the Hero Safety Commission," he noted.
"Oh…" the Leaper Quirk user uttered, "well, uh…" she continued, nervously rubbing the back of her head as she stood up, "is there something you wanted from me?" she inquired.
"Yes, actually," Noah replied, making his eyes suddenly glow gold, much to Rebecca's surprise, "I'd like to learn more about why Drakken Joe targeted you specifically…" he told her, "And how you managed to tip the scales in your favor…" he mentioned, causing the Leaper Quirk user to widen her eyes. Something about this conversation was going to be very telling.

"We should all get some sleep," Eraser insisted of his fellow I.U.A. Heroes as they were gathered back at their agency in a single room, "Mourning over Taichi and reflecting on our actions can wait until—"
"It can't," Holy interjected firmly, "Now that Drakken Joe is in custody, the rest of the Oracion Seis will catch wind of the power vacuum," she pointed out to her colleagues, "There's no more All For One… and no more All Might…" she mentioned grimly.
"Then we should be monitoring their movements," Feather advised, "That should be a good first step," she noted.
"Agreed," Cure responded, nodding with the others except for Justice, who had his head lowered.
"Huh…" Holy sighed upon noticing, "Okay, I might've spoken too harshly of you back there…" she admitted as she walked over to him, "But we could've helped Jaguar had we not been so focused on fighting people who weren't even fighting back…" she told him, "James, you need to maybe consider that—"
"Start with tracking Elsie Crimson and her cronies," he ordered, interrupting the Light Quirk user as she blinked in shock, "We'll finally be the ones to bring her to justice," he declared.
"James, that's not—!"
"I'm trusting each of you to monitor the rest of the Seis and their next moves," the Interstellar Hero interjected again, walking off, "When you get a lead, let the rest of us know," he advised on, departing from the room.
"…Huh…" Eraser sighed, "He's not well…" he pointed out.
"Not well?" Holy repeated, "He's lost his mind!" she shouted, whipping around to her fellow I.U.A. Heroes, "Why not take this time to reassess our place in Japan and reflect on what happened in Camino?" she inquired of them, "Wouldn't you agree that'd be for the best?" she questioned on, "Ichiro? Tsubaki? Naosu?" she listed off, causing her colleagues to blink in surprise from hearing their real names. Feather stepped forward after a moment.
"In spite of Justice's demeanor, he is right," she noted, "The other Seis will respond to these events and likely take hold of the power vacuum left behind," she told her colleagues.
"Monitoring them each is in our best interest," Cure chimed in, "Though I will respect whoever each of you decide to elect as your chosen target," he affirmed, "I'll be focusing my efforts on Poseidon Nero, the Aoi Industry tycoon," he announced.
"My target will be God Acnoella, the infamous Dragon Queen," Feather decided, "I already have some contacts who'll be willing to help me," she mentioned.
"Then that leaves me with Saintfire Nox," Eraser assumed, "As always, I'm sure Holy would like to focus on—"
"Yes, I've already told you this story…" the Light Quirk user interjected coldly as she looked away. She sounded very frustrated. Her colleagues left the room, save for the Erase Quirk user.
"Seinaru…" he began, "whether or not it's for the best to proceed down this path, we can't take any precautions," he noted seriously. She kept her gaze away from him. "Huh…" he sighed, "Deadend Crow hasn't been seen for years," he pointed out, "so I wish you the best of luck trying to find out where he's hiding…" he said, leaving the room afterwards. A moment passed. Holy took a deep breath and exhaled, taking out her phone and putting it up to her ear after she dialed a number.
"Hi, it's Seinaru," she greeted, "I need to meet with you," she stated, "Actually… I need to meet with All Might… and Izuku Midoriya," she corrected firmly. After everything, she wanted answers. And she'd get them by whatever means necessary.
X
Izuku had been at home, napping in his bed while waiting for a message from his girlfriend or his mentor. Neither had contacted him all day. He would've assumed Rebecca had gotten taken home relatively soon after what happened, but the lack of any word was worrying him. His phone finally did ring as he hit the answer button on instinct.
"H-Hello?!" he stammered out loudly, putting the device up to his ear.
"You really are a damn piece of work, you know that?!" Gran Torino's voice shouted through his device, making him flinch in surprise.
"G-Gran Torino?" he stuttered, "Wait, why are you calling me?" he inquired, arching an eyebrow as he sat up.
"Toshinori's alright," the elderly hero responded, "Obviously beaten and bruised, but not dead," he mentioned on, "Anyways, we need to meet to have a little chat," he told the One For All inheritor, "You know a good place for us, kid?" he inquired on.
"Uh, well…" Izuku started to reply. It wasn't long before he arrived at Dagobah Beach to find All Might there. His right arm was in a sling as both it and his left were covered with bandages, along with a few around his head.
"It sure took you long enough!" he called out to his successor as they ran towards each other… followed by the now retired hero striking him in the face with a weak, but still effective Texas Smash. It knocked the freckled teen down onto the sand as he clutched his hurting cheek. While his mentor was alive, the last of One For All's embers had left him. He could no longer be a hero. So now, his goal was to be there to help train Izuku for the rest of the time they had.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" the freckled teen bawled out, knowing that it was the end of an era.
"Kid…" Toshinori uttered as he teared up himself, "you gotta stop with the waterworks…" he insisted, sniffling a little. Neither of them noticed both Sorahiko and Seinaru arriving on the scene.
"Huh…" the former of the two sighed with frustration.
"So Shigaraki is related to the person who taught All Might…" the latter noted, dressed in a business skirt with a striped tank top.
"Is it hard to believe?" the old man beside her asked.
"After everything that happened last night, nothing's hard to believe anymore," she retorted in reply. As the pair ahead of them calmed down, they approached, getting their attentions.
"Gran Torino…" Toshinori uttered.
"And… Miss Holy?" Izuku said, confused by the I.U.A. Hero's presence.
"Got one more little thing we need to sort out here," Sorahiko noted, looking over to the woman beside him.
"What is One For All?" she asked, causing the pair on the sand ahead of them to widen their eyes, "And why was it given from you to Izuku?" she inquired on. A little while passed. The group had gone to a ramen shop, with the freckled teen texting his mother that he wouldn't be back for dinner just yet.
"So that injury you received from All For One back then put you on a timetable…" Holy noted before grabbing her noodles with her chopsticks, "And you ended up choosing dear Izuku here…" she mentioned.
'Dear…?' the freckled teen uttered inwardly out of confusion as he blushed.
"Yes," Toshinori confirmed, "It was mostly by chance, but…" he continued, "I found Young Midoriya worthy to inherit One For All in my absence," he affirmed, looking over to his successor.
"And now, it's his turn," Holy concluded as she put her chopsticks down, "I'm sure that's what you meant this morning," she assumed, earning a simple nod in response from the former number one hero, "Huh…" she sighed deeply, "To think that your ideals are being placed on such a young boy, who isn't even out of his first year of high school…" she pointed out.
"To be fair, Toshinori was still in high school when his predecessor died…" Sorahiko chimed in grimly, "Honestly, I think this is the best case scenario for us," he admitted, "You get to live," he pointed out to the disheveled man, "and you still get to be trained by him," he mentioned to Izuku.
"Yeah…" the latter of the two across the table responded, letting off a little smile. Holy narrowed her eyes.
"Is there another way we could cultivate One For All, or at least some version of it another way?" she inquired curiously, getting the attentions of the men around her.
"What do you mean?" Toshinori inquired.
"Well, maybe there's a possibility that this Quirk could be passed down genetically," the I.U.A. Hero inferred, "Not through the transfer of DNA, but by creating new life from the help of its holder," she explained.
"Creating new life…?" Izuku repeated in confusion. It took a moment for him to realize what she was insinuating. "Y-You mean…?" he stammered out as his cheeks started to go red. Holy giggled.
"I'd be happy to help with that…" she flirted with a wink.
"AH!" Izuku yelped out of embarrassment, almost falling out of his chair as his whole face was red.
"Seinaru…" Sorahiko said in a reprimanding tone.
"Sorry, sorry…" she apologized repeatedly, "Huh…" she sighed out, "I just needed a bit of levity after last night's debacle and this morning's ordeals…" she confessed to the group.
"What's going on?" Toshinori asked curiously.
"Apparently, the IUA is splitting efforts now to focus on the remaining Oracion Seis," Sorahiko replied for the Light Quirk user, "They aren't worrying about the league at all," he mentioned to their surprise.
"The Seis are important, but none of them have made moves in years," Holy pointed out, "That said, with Drakken put away in Tartarus along with All For One, some are bound to make a move with the power vacuum in place," she explained, "So the decision was made for us to monitor each of them," she told those across from her, "I'd like to apologize for this sudden meeting," she added, "Truth be told, while I did want answers, I also needed some peace of mind in the wake of all this…" she confessed.
"That's quite alright," Toshinori assured in response, "Though if you could keep my and Young Midoriya's relationship a secret…"
"You have my word," the Light Quirk user affirmed before the former hero could finish his question.
"Kid, you should probably get home now," Sorahiko insisted of Izuku, making him blink in surprise, "Toshinori'll fill you in on anything important," he assured.
"Thanks, everyone," the One For All inheritor said, standing up from his seat and bowing gratefully to the pros. He then headed off, jogging back to his household in the distance.
"Now for the bigger issues we might or will face…" Seinaru said grimly as the two men still with her grimaced a little. Meanwhile, the freckled teen was still running down the streets until he finally made his way up the stairs to the apartment. But once he arrived on the floor, he looked ahead and gasped.
Standing at the open doorway and talking to his mother was Witch, who held Happy in her arms. And beside her was Rebecca. She glanced over, widening her eyes to spot her boyfriend. His own eyes welled up with tears. He clenched his teeth, running up to his girlfriend without even a moment to hesitate.
She turned to him in the nick of time, opening her arms to accept him into a warm and tight embrace. They cried into each other's shoulders as their respective guardians watched on with smiles, relieved that they were alright. And they were happier together.
X
Nero rolled the trio of dice in his right hand as he watched the news over and over. Drakken was out of the picture officially. And he had heard no word of his son since the incident.
"Sir?" a voice chimed in, getting his attention as he turned his head to see a woman of average height with short, maroon hair, and red eyes. She wore a navy blue sleeveless catsuit, with a separate collar, a white trim, an opening that exposed a portion of her breasts and lead partially ripped by her abdomen, and red heels. "He's waiting for you," she confirmed. Nero clutched the dice in his hand, standing up from his seat. He walked out of his office to see a someone seated on the bench nearby.
It was a tall, odd-looking, middle-aged man with a prominently long, pointed nose and obtruding chin, as well as small, dark eyes. He had short, orange-brownish hair, set noticeably far up his forehead, a widow's peak pointing downwards in the center, and he wore it swept back around his head. He didn't have any visible eyebrows, and also possessed two dark moles on the left of his forehead. He was wearing a suit that consisted of a green dress shirt, a green tie, and a black, pinstriped blazer with matching dress pants.
"Ah, Poseidon Nero…" he greeted with a chuckle as he stood up and approached the mutant tycoon, "So this is the result of the famous Nero Empire you've built up, hm?" he assumed as he looked around. They were in a tall skyscraper. "I heard word that your son got loose," he mentioned curiously.
"That decision was made by my dice," the Oracion Seis member retorted, pocketing his trinkets, "I'm not one to go against fate when it's in my favor," he pointed out. The woman behind him appeared to tense up a little.
"Well, from I what I hear, he was a bit of a detriment on your legacy…" the suited man noted with a grin, "That League of Villains he's joined certainly has gotten the spotlight as of late…" he mentioned as he looked out the window.
"Why did you come here, Re-Destro?" Nero asked, narrowing his eyes. The suited man chuckled, placing his thumb against his forehead.
"The Meta Liberation Army has slowly been growing over the past year, and it's only a matter of time before we're able to make our move," he pointed out, "Possibly before the end of the year…" he added with a chuckle, "Still, I don't think I would mind a little extra help from a well-known business partner of mine," he pointed out, "Especially since it would mean bringing two of the infamous Oracion Seis together…" he mentioned, causing the mutant man to widen his eyes.
"Who's joined you…?" he inquired. Somewhere in the forests of Japan, there was a giant musclebound man sauntering about. He had a few lines of muscle going down his metallic face, also having mint green hair and red eyes with green scelera. His neck had three bolts on each side and he wore a fur collar with a gargantuant wheel on his back.
"Almost time…" he uttered out, sounding hopeful. Elsewhere in an abandoned warehouse, there lurked a tall woman with a voluptuous body, long claws and hair, and the top of her face was covered by a triclop eye mask with a pointy dark hood. She wore a flowing long dark dress that has a cleavage window with a large poofy high collar and a symbol of a dragon skull with large horns at the front. At her feet was a newspaper with word of All Might's retirement. She smirked at it.
"So the era of peace is finally nearing its end…" she inferred. Peering over her shoulder was a creature with an overall mechanical appearance, having gears on the underside of it belly, and wings that had a pattern that somewhat resembled solar panels. Its wings also had four appendages, resembled sword hilts, sticking out of near their bodies, each one has four V's pointing toward the rest of the body. Additionally, it had a tail and two legs with three claws on each foot. In the center of their chest, it had heart-shaped indentation with a ball in the center. It cooed as the woman petted it comfortingly.
Inside a damaged church in a forest lurked another woman with long, ash-blonde hair that was braided for a pair of white bows upon her head. She wore a blue-and-white cloaked robe and tall miter, though she set the latter down off of her head for a moment. Closing her eyes, she trembled a little.
"Rebecca…" she uttered out.
