And we're back with more of "Through the Rough"! Last chapter, we saw the students going through the challenge of the provisional hero license exam! And now, we're about to see the results along with a few other fun surprises!
So let's dive right in! Welcome back to "Through the Rough"!
THROUGH THE ROUGH
Rebecca gulped a little as she and her classmates listened to Yokumiru. He was complimenting the 100 examinees for their efforts, while also explaining the grading system for the test itself. Each person would start with 100 points. And depending upon how they performed during the exam, their scores would be reduced accordingly, whether by making situations worse than they needed to be, failing to understand certain instances properly, or by simply standing around and doing nothing. If someone were to score under 50 points, they automatically failed.
"Now…" the Hero Safety Commission member began as he rubbed the back of his head tiredly, "up on the board, you'll see the names of those who passed…" he told the examinees. The display board went ahead and showed the various names. There were around 70% of the 100 examinees in the test. Immediately, Izuku scanned the board for his name. And he found it. His eyes widened as his jaw went slack.
'I did it… I passed, All Might!' he noted excitedly to himself.
"Alright, I'm there!" Rebecca exclaimed happily as she hopped.
"Yeah, me too!" Weisz pointed out.
"Awesome!" Shiki yelled with both of his fists raised. Most of Class 1-A was excited for their successful endeavors. It was a stressful experience, but it was worth it to see that they all passed. Well… almost all of them.
Katsuki shook with anger and frustration upon seeing that his name wasn't on the board. Eijiro grimaced, remembering how during the exam when they were going to help people, he was being rather angry with the civilians. It seemed like he would've preferred to go and fend off villains. In the end, he made his choice and paid the price for it.
The same could be said for Shoto. After discovering her name on the board, Homura looked for her classmate's, only to find that it wasn't there. Inasa's wasn't either.
"Todoroki!" his voice bellowed, making her shiver in surprise as she and the Half-Cold, Half-Hot Quirk user turned to see him coming over to them. He immediately went and bowed his head to them, slamming it against the ground. "I'm sorry!" he apologized, "It was my fault that you failed like I did!" he pointed out, "I deeply regret my actions!" he added on, "And I apologize to you too, Kogetsu!" he added, turning to the Soul Blade Quirk user as she blinked in surprise, "You were left paralyzed while Todoroki and bickered like children…" he noted ashamedly.
"Yoarashi…" she uttered out.
"If anyone's to blame for what happened back there, it's me," Shoto confessed, "I got too caught up in the moment and let my emotions get the better of myself," he noted, putting his left hand over his heart, "So don't feel bad," he insisted. Homura looked over at him worriedly, wondering if he was putting too much of a burden upon himself. A few moments later, the officials handed out the exam sheets to each of hero hopefuls so that they could review their scores.
"Eighty-five, huh?" Rebecca noted, arching an eyebrow, "I guess it's because I was getting a little hesitant out there…" she admitted.
"Hey, scored higher than me," Hanta chimed in, getting her attention. On average, it seemed as if Class A had scored highly in spite of them being first-years, save for Shoto and Katsuki. Momo had the highest of the class with 94 points remaining. Amongst the boys, Shiki had the highest score with 88.
"I'm glad that we're getting crucial feedback in order to improve ourselves," Tenya noted upon examining his sheet, "That said, I can't help but wonder…" he continued on while standing beside Izuku.
"Yeah…" he said, "If fifty points was the cutoff line, why would they let those who failed continue to participate in the exam?" he wondered aloud. That answer came in the form of the next announcement that Yokumiru issued. Those who didn't pass would get to be part of a special course later in the fall, in which they could participate to get their licenses a bit later than their peers. Homura looked over to Shoto and grinned, knowing that he would definitely take that chance.
OPENING
Insert "New Genesis" by Ado
Opens with Rebecca dressed in her hero costume, with her hair now in pigtails as she looks toward the dawning sky. The wind waves through her hair before she looks back and smiles to see the rest of Class 1-A, with her boyfriend standing at the front as he smiles. The title logo comes on screen.
As the music picks up, we get shots of each member of Class 1-A in training, thinking about their battles in the U.S.J., the Sports Festival, the hero killer attack in Hosu, the Müller raid in Shibuya, the final exams of the first semester, the forest training camp attack, and the incident in Camino. Everyone's motivating each other as they prepare to enter the next phase in order to become heroes. They all stand outside an exam center together, having determined looks on their faces.
There are several scenes of Homura drawing her energy blades to block off rubber balls being sent towards her, Denki, and Momo, Minoru unleashing a barrage of his sticky balls to trap opponents, and Fumikage releasing Dark Shadow as it covers him like armor. We see Weisz equip his Arsenal armor as he speeds past everyone alongside Tenya and Izuku. However, they're brought to a halt as the wind picks up around them.
They look to see that it's courtesy of Inasa Yoarashi, whose grin is wide until he spots Shoto through the crowd, making him glare with contempt. Other Shiketsu students are on the scene, including the likes of Milani Lucra, Nasseh Saimin, Lyra Dekki, and Callum Steelford. There's also students from Ketsubutsu Academy, which also includes the likes of Orc, Mora, and Britney.
We watch as Rebecca finds herself forced into battle against Britney, running around from her smoky form while using her new pulse blasters to try and throw her off. Orc confronts Izuku, while Mora locates Katsuki. The three U.A. students fight on with all their effort.
Meanwhile, Shiki has his green markings expand as he flies across a ruined battlefield to confront Gang Orca, who blows him back with a sonic blast. Ochaco catches him in midair, followed by Kyoka plugging her earphone jacks into her amps to unleash a soundwave that tears through the ground. Mashirao and Tsuyu join in the fray, taking care of Orca's minions in the exercise.
During his ordeals, Katsuki starts thinking about what had happened with All Might back in Camino. He looks toward Izuku, who is running beside him, and then at Rebecca. He brushes his thoughts off for the moment, continuing onward.
We get a shot of Nero in his office with Ijuna, the League of Villains hiding out in a warehouse, Overhaul and the Shie Hassaikai looking over a car fire, Kris finding the likes of Rogue Out, and Laguna meeting with the imposing figure of Goodwin. The song winds down as Rebecca brushes her back and smiles toward the horizon with her boyfriend. Their classmates all stand behind them, ready to become heroes.
END OPENING
"Ah~…" Izuku sang upon seeing his new provisional license in his hands. Though while his picture could've been a lot better as he looked a little stiff with a nervous smile, he was still happy. Looking over, Rebecca smiled.
"Hard to believe that it was only so long ago that he kept breaking his bones with each move he made…" Kyoka commented, getting her attention as she was standing alongside her.
"Yeah…" she replied, taking a look at her own license, "It's a great feeling for sure…" she affirmed, grinning widely. As Inasa came by to say his goodbyes and boldly admit he still didn't like Shoto, Izuku took notice of Callum, Lyra, Nasseh and Milani approaching.
"Great job out there, guys!" the Gambler Rush Quirk user complimented as she went over to take Rebecca's hands into her own as she yelped in surprise, "For first-years, you sure packed a punch!" she pointed out, "Even the guys who failed did pretty good!" she mentioned, "I got no doubt they'll pass that special course later in the fall," she added confidently with a giggle.
"Oh, uh, thanks…" the Cat Leaper Quirk user responded with a stutter, while Kyoka gave off a bit of a glare toward Lyra.
"Lyra, we need to get going," Callum called out.
"Yeah, I know," the Gambler Rush Quirk user responded with a sigh, "I'll let Labilia know we met, 'kay?" she promised to Rebecca, giving her a wink before going over to rejoin her classmates.
"Oh, wait just one second!" Izuku insisted as he jogged up to the quartet of Shiketsu students, "It's… Steelford, right?" he inquired of the Carburetor Quirk user, who blinked in surprise, "That technique you used against Gang Orca…" he recalled, "it was a lot like a move that another Hero Course student used against me in the Sports Festival," he pointed out, causing him to blink in surprise.
"You're talking about Jinn, aren't you?" Callum assumed.
"Wait, you know Kleene's brother?" Rebecca inquired as she jogged over, having overheard the conversation. The Carburetor Quirk user nodded.
"He and his sister were visitors to the dojo we attended as kids," he told the couple, "I was a year older than them, yet they were prodigies in their own right," he mentioned, "Jinn's sister usually kept to herself, but her brother was always one to challenge me," he recalled, "He never won, but…" he continued, "he was a good person…" he said.
"At least until he joined the League of Villains…" Milani muttered out.
"Yes…" Callum responded with a nod, "I heard that his sister is still attending UA," he pointed out, looking expectantly to Izuku and Rebecca to confirm that fact.
"Yeah, she is…" the latter of the two responded, "And… we're hoping to find her brother, too," she mentioned to his surprise, as well as her boyfriend's.
"Uh, excuse me," Nasseh chimed in, "I do hate to interrupt such a fun conversation, but we really must be going now," he insisted firmly.
"Huh…" Lyra sighed out, "Guess we'll see each other down the road…" she assumed with a shrug, "Later, Rebecca!" she called out in farewell with a wave. Callum nodded to Izuku and Rebecca, joining his classmates as they headed off.
"So… Kris is still out there, huh?" the Cat Leaper Quirk user noted, turning to her boyfriend.
"Yeah…" he said, lowering his gaze in thought.
"Hey!" Mina's voice called out, getting their attentions as they saw her standing by the bus as the others were boarding, "Come on, lovebirds!" she yelled. The couple looked to each other and smiled, heading for their transport back to campus.
"Miss Bluegarden," a familiar voice chimed in, causing her to stop as she turned to see Noah there approaching her.
"Mister Glenfield…" she uttered in surprise, while Izuku looked over curiously to see her with the Eye of God Quirk user, "What are you doing here?" she asked, arching an eyebrow.
"As a member of the Safety Commission, I wanted to be sure we were properly testing the next batch of hero hopefuls," he answered with a chuckle, "But aside from that, I have something I'd like to discuss with you," he confirmed to her surprise, "Actually, both you and Shota," he mentioned as the Erasure Quirk user approached, causing him to blink in confusion, "There's something I've discovered about Rebecca's situation back in Camino… along with information regarding the League…" he told the pair, who widened their eyes slightly. Elsewhere in an alleyway, the form of Camie melted away into that of Himiko. Her Quirk allowed her to transform into anyone she desired so long as she ingested their blood. And she had a sample of Izuku's to use as she pleased.
"You's can't just go waltzin' 'bout without tellin' us, ya know!" Fie's voice yelled to her over the phone she was using.
"Oh, lighten up…" she grumbled back, "We don't have Mister Joe anymore to help us out, so this is the best we can do!" she pointed out with a giggle, "Izuku's yummy blood is what'll get us into fighting shape again!" she affirmed giddily. However, her joy instantly vanished the moment she saw Callum standing in front of her.
"Hey, Himiko?" Fie said through the phone as the Transform Quirk user glanced back to find Lyra behind her, "Himiko, ya still there?" her colleague asked, while she noticed Nasseh approach beside the Carburetor Quirk user. Himiko tried to run, only for two pairs of hands to shoot out from the glass window behind her, lifting her off of the ground as her Shiketsu hat fell off. The trio of students surrounded her as within the reflection of the mirror was Milani.
"Heh…" she laughed out, "If you're looking for your friend, she's not dead…" she confirmed to the group with a giggle, "I just had some of her blood to play with you guys in her place!" she confessed. The group narrowed their eyes onto her.
"Honestly, we could care less about Camie," Lyra admitted, removing her cap, as did Nasseh, "But we got curious when we found out the way she performed today was so unlike her…" she pointed out, "Especially given that her Quirk's not the same as we remember…" she added, making Himiko grimace, "Should've thought of that before trying to play the part…" she remarked mockingly. Callum stepped forward, taking the phone out of her hand.
"Himiko, answer me, dammit!" Fie yelled, standing inside of a warehouse with Tomura, Compress, Daichi, Maria, Spinner, and Shura.
"Why would she suddenly go silent?" the lizard-like man of the group inquired with crossed arms.
"Maybe she's trying to get away from a hero who spotted her…" the Slime Quirk user suggested as an answer, "If that happened, we're screwed…" she grumbled out.
"Himiko, I'm gonna hang up if ya don't say anything, got it?!" Fie shouted into his phone.
"…Is this the League of Villains?" Callum's voice questioned after a moment, causing the sniper to widen his eyes.
"Fie?" Daichi uttered upon noticing his reaction.
"What's wrong?" Compress asked in concern.
"This is Callum from the Nero Empire's Oceans," the Carburetor Quirk user confirmed over the phone, making Fie blink in confusion, "I assume Shura is there, is he not?" he inquired. The sniper looked over to the Satan Gravity Quirk user, who had bandages over his torso from the wounds he received back in Camino. He arched an eyebrow.
"Who the hell is it?" he questioned curiously.
"A guy from… the Nero Empire's Oceans…" Fie answered, causing everyone to look over to each with confused expressions, save for Shura, who sighed.
"Put him on speaker," he advised. The sniper did as he was told, setting the phone onto a small table. "Callum, right?" the Satan Gravity Quirk user assumed, "Should've known you'd catch onto the crazy bitch…" he muttered out.
"Don't act so surprised, Shura," Callum retorted over the line, "We're just covering all of our bases, especially in the wake of you betraying the empire…" he pointed out. The tattooed man grimaced in frustration. Meanwhile, Tomura huffed.
"Let Toga go," he insisted.
"Not until we've had a chance to talk, Tomura Shigaraki," the Carburetor Quirk user replied firmly, "You've heard the news recently, haven't you?" he inquired of the League of Villains' leader, "With Drakken Joe's arrest, the IUA's gone ahead and declared you the newest member of the Oracion Seis…" he pointed out. In the warehouse, Spinner, Magne, Maria and Compress all lightly gasped, looking over to the Decay Quirk user.
"I don't care if I'm lumped in with some old school freaks…" he grumbled out.
"You should be," Callum warned, "Because now you've become a mere minnow in a den of sharks…" he remarked, "Poseidon Nero is likely one of the strongest of the Seis," he noted seriously, "And his rule is and will always be absolute," he affirmed on, "So consider this a warning…" he continued, "unless you want to find yourselves destroyed, stay out of our way…" he advised. With that, the call ended. Tomura narrowed his eyes underneath the hand upon his face.
Back in the alleyway, Himiko was let go, being brought down to her hands and knees. Milani stepped out from the window, smirking at her. She then joined her colleagues as they headed off, with Callum tossing the phone he had behind himself. The Transform Quirk user scrambled over to catch it, watching as the quartet of villains left. They were serious. And in time, the true intentions of other villain groups would be made clear to the rest of the world…

Holy looked through the glass window into the interrogation room, watching as All Might and All For One spoke in the supermax prison of Tartarus. It was a tense conversation, and there were little results to come of it. All the former hero could do was declare that he and his successor would not die by Tomura's hand in the future. He wouldn't let the future mold him, but instead mold his own future. As he exited, he was surprised to find the I.U.A. Hero standing up against the wall, waiting for him.
"You really didn't need to have that conversation, you know…" she muttered as they walked off alongside each other.
"I had to face him, at least for one last time," Toshinori retorted, "Now I can leave with the peace that he'll never cause harm to anyone ever again…" he affirmed. The Light Quirk user looked at him worriedly. "And what about you?" he inquired of her, "I'm surprised to see that you're here…" he noted curiously.
"I thought I'd check in on Drakken Joe, see if he knows anything about the other Seis that would be useful…" Holy answered, narrowing her eyes slightly, "But… it seems his age is finally catching up to him…" she mentioned as she recalled his elderly appearance from earlier.
"I know that my retirement's creating a huge ripple effect…" All Might pointed out, "And it's only a matter of time before that ripple turns into a tidal wave, threatening to crash down onto all of us…" he added grimly.
"We'll be ready," Seinaru assured, glancing off to the side in thought, "How is Izuku doing?" she asked curiously.
"Better, actually," the former hero responded with a grin, happy to have the subject changed, "He's recovered nicely from his injuries and started resorting to a new fighting style, without needing to copy what I do," he told the Light Quirk user.
"That's good to hear," she said with her own little smile. A few minutes later, the two separated, with All Might being driven away by Naomasa in the latter's car. Holy watched him depart before feeling her phone vibrate in her pocket, causing her to take it out, hitting the answer icon and putting it up to her right ear.
"Holy here," she answered. She listened for a moment before slightly widening her eyes. "Wait, are you sure, Feather?" she inquired. On the other end of the line, her fellow I.U.A. Hero was looking toward a huge trail of destruction through a forest as the wind waved through her white hair.
"I can't imagine it's anyone else," she responded with her phone held in front of herself, "I'll be waiting," she confirmed, ending the call. Back at Tartarus, the Light Quirk user trembled with frustration as she clenched her fists. She took a deep breath to calm herself, walking off. With her target firmly ingrained in her mind, she knew what she would have to do.
"Huh… huh…" Kris breathed out tiredly as he placed his prosthetic hand up against the wall he was beside in a dark alley.
"Hey!" a voice yelled to him, getting his attention as he looked ahead to see a pair of figures. One was a tall man with spiky brown hair and pale, greenish skin. He had an ash blonde moustache, protrusions from his ears that looked like fins, and he wore a white-and-black combat suit. Next to him was a medium-sized, heavyset man with two antennas at the top of his head, a large black egg-like object that looked like a hair bun, a triangle-shaped nose, and small facial features. He wore no shirt, but had a set of short sleeves, a thong-like set of pants with leggings, and was barefoot. His largest distinctive feature was a button where his belly button should be, and a message above the button that said 'DON'T PUSH'. "Don't fall behind, Jinn," the former of the two men insisted, "Otherwise, Sister's gonna have your head, too…" he pointed out. The Wind Rage Quirk user grimaced.
"I know…" he responded solemnly, lowering his head, "I'm grateful that she took me back…" he admitted.
"Don't get so sentimental," the greenish-skinned man advised as he held a rifle in his hands, "It's not like before when you and your sister were just kids," he pointed out, "It's only you now," he said, "And you have to pull your weight…" he added firmly.
"I understand, Ganoff," Kris replied.
"Mos! Moscoy!" the heavyset man of the trio exclaimed, getting their attentions.
"Wouldja shut up, Mosco?!" the greenish-skinned man shouted with a scoff, "Ever since All Might retired, a lot of bad guys are starting to make their moves like us…" he noted, "I'm sure Sister's going to be starting get a lot of calls for Rogue Out's services…" he mentioned.
"And as such, we'll be paid mos-handsomely!" the heavyset man pointed out with a thumbs up.
"Exactly," Ganoff responded with a smirk. Meanwhile, Kris lowered his gaze in thought. Kleene had chosen to go over to the side of the heroes, while he remained in the shadows of villains. Though he was no longer with the league, he was still a criminal. And he wondered… if he and his sister would ever cross paths again…

"So what's tonight's Marvel movie to celebrate… well, almost all of us getting our licenses?" Mina asked, correcting herself in the nick of time.
"I think Rebecca said it was gonna be that only Hulk movie they did…" Kyoka answered as she lied back against the couch, "Though it's a weird one since it's not even owned by the same studio," she pointed out.
"Wait, seriously?" Eijiro questioned, sounding surprised. As most of the class gathered in the common area in preparation for the movie to end their night, Rebecca was nervously standing off to the side, having her gaze fixated on the floor. What Noah had to tell both her and Shota before they left the exam site was something that plagued her mind. She trembled a little.
"You alright, Rebecca?" Hanta asked, snapping her away from her thoughts as she saw that the Tape Quirk user was standing right there.
"Oh, uh, yeah!" she stammered out in reply, "Just reflecting on my exam results…" she admitted before heading over to the common area to join the others, "Who's ready for the movie?" she questioned of her classmates.
"I heard that this movie was quite average…" Momo noted as she sat beside Ochaco on the ottoman next to the couch.
"I remember it being pretty good," Denki chimed in, "Though I kinda hated what they did to the Hulk after it…" he admitted, "He just wasn't the same brute I remember…" he pointed out.
"Dude, spoilers!" Minoru shouted, causing the Electrification Quirk user to grimace.
"Sorry…" he apologized. As Rebecca took the remote and started typing the movie title into the search bar, her boyfriend sat down on the floor, checking his phone. All Might had seen the photo of his license that he had sent earlier, having replied with a thumbs up emoji. He chuckled silently to himself, glad that he had taken another step forward. But then, he felt something bump his left shoulder.
"Hey," Katsuki said, getting his attention as he looked up to see his rival there, "After this flick, you're coming with me," he decided, "We need to talk about your Quirk…" he said, much to the One For All inheritor's shock. From the way it sounded, the Explosion Quirk user had discovered something. And he could only guess what that was as he grimaced.
"Okay, here it is!" Rebecca exclaimed, snapping him away from his musings as he saw the title screen for the movie upon the TV, The Incredible Hulk.
"Aw, we have to rent it?" Toru questioned as a complaint.
"All in favor of charging Mineta the yen for it?" Kyoka offered, raising her right hand to vote.
"I!" most of the class responded with raised hands, causing the Pop Off Quirk user to gawk in shock.
"You guys suck…" he grumbled out.
"Let's just get this started, okay?" Rebecca insisted, pressing the play button. The movie began, focusing on a montage in which the main character, Bruce Banner, was a scientist who was caught in an experimental accident and turned into the raging green monster known as the Hulk.
"Is this… supposed to be a recap?" Hanta asked.
"I think so…" Tsuyu responded.
"It's probably because they didn't wanna bore anyone with no action for the whole movie," Eijiro chimed in with a shrug.
"Or at least no tension…" Kyoka added, "At least it's showing us what happened and what the guy's situation is…" she pointed out. As the movie continued, Izuku kept shooting glances towards Katsuki. Did he figure out something about One For All? And if so, what did he want to talk about?
The movie continued with Bruce trying to live a relaxed life, keeping the beast inside of him away. It would only release under great fits of rage or stress. At one point, he accidentally cut himself while working, and his blood wound up getting caught in a glass bottle, shipped somewhere else in the world.
It wasn't long before the military in America caught wind of his location, going out to hunt him down. He tried to escape without releasing the beast within, but it was no use. He became the monster known as the Hulk, fending off his enemies viciously before escaping. One of the military members seemed to be rather enthralled with just how powerful the beast was, wanting that kind of strength and agility.
"So… is he gonna be the bad guy?" Mashirao wondered aloud.
"Seems like it…" Kyoka answered as she shrugged. The movie continued with Bruce trying to start things over after turning back to normal. He managed to find his way to America, secure a job as a pizza delivery boy for the time being, and work on getting in contact with an associate that he had kept in touch with in regards to his blood and how he could be cured.
But before then, he ended up reuniting with his former love, a fellow scientist named Betty. She immediately took him in and vowed to help him no matter what. When the military came after them again, Bruce once again gave way to the Hulk, only this time it was out of anger as he saw the person he loved get tackled to the ground by a soldier. As the green monster burst out of the glass windows of the bridge he was trapped in, everyone could see him in all his muscly and angered glory.
"CG looks… uh… weird…" Hanta admitted with a grimace.
"This movie came out like a decade ago," Mina commented.
"Yeah, what'd you expect?" Toru questioned. The movie continued with the Hulk fighting off the military, including the soldier from earlier who was very intrigued by his power. After mocking the green beast, he was met with a powerful kick that sent him crashing into a tree as his body crumpled.
"Yikes!" Minoru yelped.
"That hurt…" Eijiro remarked. After a few scenes of Hulk taking Betty away with him and transforming back into Bruce, the pair headed off to New York to meet the scientist that had been in contact with the latter. Bruce had been looking to find a cure in order to get rid of the Hulk once and for all, having been testing solutions with his infected blood for the longest time.
With the operation they ran, using an antidote the scientist had created thanks to the blood sample he obtained from Bruce earlier in the film, they seemingly stopped his transformations for good. At that moment, the military arrived to subdue him and Betty, taking them into custody. When it seemed like the threat had passed however, the soldier from earlier used the scientist to make him become a stronger monster like the Hulk. He became what was known as Abomination.
"Ew…" Mina uttered with disgust.
"I do agree that they could've made him look somewhat more appealing…" Momo admitted with her right hand upon her cheek.
"It's a big CGI monster, what'd you expect?" Denki questioned, earning a glare and puffed cheeks from the Acid Quirk user. Abomination was running rampant through the city. And upon learning this, Bruce knew that the only thing who could stop him would be the Hulk. He willingly let himself turn into the green beast, who went ahead to fight his foe in a devastating and gruesome battle.
In the end, Hulk asphyxiated Abomination with large metal chains, letting out a long roar for his victory. He then escaped the city, knowing that he was still a fugitive. The movie seemingly ended with Bruce starting to get control of the beast that lurked within, but then there was another scene featuring a familiar face.
"Hey, it's that Tony guy!" Ochaco exclaimed.
"Now that you mention it, I think I remember seeing his weapons being sold to the military at the start of the film…" Tsuyu noted with her right pointer finger up against her cheek.
"Continuity at its finest!" Eijiro remarked with a chuckle.
"What if I told you we putting a team together?" Tony asked. And with that, the movie credits rolled.
"Well, that was nice," Minoru admitted as he leaned back in his seat on the floor.
"You know, All Might was kinda like the Hulk, know that I think about it," Hanta noted, "I mean, he gets all big and powerful, and he's pretty much unstoppable," he pointed out to his classmates.
"That's very true…" Homura agreed.
"Either way, it sucks to know that All Might's gone now…" Mina admitted solemnly.
"He's not gone," Rebecca chimed in, "He's still teaching us, even if he isn't the best at it," she pointed out, earning laughs from her classmates.
"Well, a new semester starts tomorrow," Momo noted as she stood up.
"And with it, a new chance to show just how Plus Ultra we all are!" Shiki exclaimed, pumping his fists up.
"Yeah!" Ochaco agreed, mimicking him. The Creation Quirk user looked over to them and smiled a little. A little while passed before everyone dispersed from the common area, returning to their dorm rooms to go to bed. Rebecca turned out to not be one of them, wandering over to the boys' side of the dorms as she made her way to her boyfriend's door.
She seemed nervous, trembling a little. But she steeled herself, knocking at the door. There was no response.
"Hey, uh… Izu?" she said quietly, trying not to wake anyone, "Listen… I wanted to talk to you about something…" she noted in a solemn tone as she lowered her head, "It's… what Mister Glenfield talked to me and Mister Aizawa about…" she mentioned. Surprisingly, the door wasn't opened. Now the Cat Leaper Quirk user was starting to get worried. Her boyfriend wouldn't ignore her unless something was wrong… or he wasn't there.
She ended up heading outside of the Heights Alliance building, looking around as crickets were chirping about. She finally managed to catch sight of Izuku. But before she could call out to him, she saw that he was following Katsuki. A perplexed expression came across her face. What was her boyfriend doing with his rival so late into the evening? Especially with a new semester on the horizon?
Not even hesitating, she followed them. Whether or not that was for the best, she would soon find out. Because she too was a major part of the boys' rivalry…

Opens with Class 1-A's girls hanging out in the common room of their Heights Alliance building. Rebecca finds herself totally bored until she realizes something, running off. She returns a moment later with her Switch in hand, along with four controllers. She, Homura, Tsuyu and Ochaco are the first ones to start playing, though the Soul Blade Quirk user is initially holding her controller upside down.
They play a racing game to start things off, with the scene changing to show chibi forms of the girls driving in their karts. Homura slips on a banana peel and spins out, while Tsuyu gets hit by a green shell. Ochaco and Rebecca are neck-and-neck as they approach the finish line, and the Zero Gravity Quirk user wins by a hair.
After a brief celebration, the girls switch to a dancing game, where Mina, Toru, Kyoka and Momo compete. We again shift to a fantasy where the girls are dressed like dancers on a stage. Everyone's surprised by how good of a dancer the Acid Quirk user is, cheering her on excitedly. As the games continue, the boys enter the common area to find them playing.
Next up is a multiplayer first-person shooter that Rebecca, Weisz, Izuku, and Shoto start playing. We see that in the fantasy sequence, the Cat Leaper Quirk user has the best shot amongst her peers, even beating out Weisz. Afterwards, Hanta brings down four more controllers so that more people can play.
And so, it comes down to a fighter game, in which Izuku, Katsuki, Eijiro, Tenya, Homura, Momo, Shoto and Shiki play. Not knowing the controls, Tenya's character can only move like a robot before getting knocked off by Katsuki. Eijiro withstands Homura's blows until she's tired out, landing a finishing punch. Momo is hesitant to battle against Shiki, so she just falls off the edge of the stage as everyone looks to her in confusion in reality.
Katsuki's character bests Shiki, while Izuku manages to defeat Eijiro. The two face off against each other, exchanging blows before ultimately, Izuku wins. The class cheers excitedly, while Katsuki scoffs, though isn't as annoyed over losing.
The rest of the day continues with Denki and Hanta playing a golfing game, Minoru and Tsuyu facing off in a MOBA to everyone's surprise, Mezo and Koji enjoying a relaxing simulation game, and Yuga trying to sing in a karaoke game, only to make everyone flinch from the sound of his falsetto. As Shota and All Might wander in to check on the class, they smile to see Rebecca and Kyoka playing together as a team in a two-person fighter. They imagine themselves in their hero costumes, fighting against a villain as they charge in…
END ENDING
And that ends this chapter as we're getting led into the big battle between Izuku and Katsuki before the next semester! It's quite an emotional ordeal, especially with Rebecca involved. I'm really excited to get into it soon, and I hope you all are, too!
Thanks for reading, and I'll see you all next time!
