A/N James found out about Rowena hitting Eleanor was an idea I had and this happened. He's canonically one of the most diesel predjudiced engines.

One day, after recovering from hitting Eleanor as best she could, Rowena was going down the line singing and James, on the standard-gauge track saw her on the narrow-gauge track beside his.

"Rowena, you dirty little diesel!" James said, loudly. "I heard you hit a girl, Eleanor, killing her! You're a killer, just like many other diesels, only worse! They're just steam engine killers, but you hit a person, probably on purpose! Go back to your railway on the Mainland, you dreadful engine! You don't care about anyone or anything else than your dirty little self!"

Rowena yelled back at James, "I hit her because she didn't get out of my way! I didn't mean to and I do care! I care very deeply. The Mainland controllers, because of the situation with the Other Railway, simply pick diesels. Some steamies, like Stepney, are preserved. My home railway's controller told me when I was being tested. You're a horrid engine!" Then, she began to cry, sobbing and sniffling loudly, as James left. Huge tears poured from her eyes.

"Cry-engine!" he said.

"Dr-Dry m-m t-tears, Dr-Driver," Rowena sniffled. Every word was another sob and her face was wet with tears.

Emily came and said, "Rowena, you've got sadness falling down your face. Poor little diesel.". If she was standard-gauge or I was narrow-gauge, I'd give her a buffer press, the bigger female engine thought. She looked at Rowena's driver and said, "Give her a hug for me. I can't give her a buffer press, because she's a smaller gauge, but she really needs a hug."

Rowena's driver said, "After I dry her eyes, I promise to hug her.". Then, he turned to his engine, "There, there, Rowena. James just doesn't know you or like diesels. Cry it out. I want you to feel better, so it's fine to sob. I know how upset you are.", as he pulled out a cloth for his pocket and dried her tears. He gently rubbed her cheeks and softly wiped her tear-wet eyes.

Rowena cried more, letting out another huge sob as fresh tears filled her eyes. "I-I n-need t-to cr-cry a-and s-sob. I-I h-hurt i-in m-my h-heart b-because o-of J-James.". She sniffled again, hard, coughed as she choked on her tears and hiccupped. She gasped and gulped, shaking with sobs as her tears poured, not once stopping.

He said, as he continued to wipe her tears away, "Take all the time you need to sob, Rowena. I wish I could wipe your sadness, so I shall wipe your eyes. You can rely on me to comfort you and give you support in your pain.". He held the cloth to her eyes, letting her sob into it and wiped all her tears away as best he could.

Rowena sobbed and sobbed, weeping non-stop, until she could no longer cry. Her driver dried her last tears away, patting any stray ones for her cheeks and dapping tears from her eyes until they were dry. He went back to the cab with the sodden cloth and refilled her radiator, after giving her a hug.

"Emily told me to give you a hug, because she's too wide to press your buffers," Rowena's driver said to her, hugging her face.

Rowena said, "There's nothing like sobbing with you to dap my tears from my cheeks and eyes when I feel unhappy. I'm not afraid of emotions, so I'm not afraid to cry when my emotions overwhelm me."

Her driver said, "I shall never do to you what the female steam engine's driver did, leave you with a wet, tear-stained face and let you rust. When I'm present and you've got huge water droplets coming out of your eyes, you can rely on me to wipe away all your tears as best I can. Even if it requires constant wiping, because I want you to cry, so you can feel better."

Rowena went on with her day after that, pulling her remaining trains and singing. She found her friend, Eugene with tears in his eyes and gave him a buffer press, trying to lift his spirits. His driver was wiping away his tears. Eugene's prone to tearing up, she thought. He told his friend he was having a dreadful day, so she said, "I had a rough time earlier, because of James.". Eugene cried his heart out.

Rowena took the freight to the station and finished her day. She went to her shed and talked with her friends until it was time to sleep.

A/N Rowena's not weak, just so tender and sensitive, she cries a lot.
