When he heard the report that the Gra Valkas Imperial Army encountered difficulty advancing inside the Ardennes Forest, it frustrated General Perth. In addition, he heard the Celestina Empire begin their ambush on the Forest, where the army is currently struggling to escape.

They have to capture Kielseki by the end of June, where if they can reach the plains without hurdles, they should be able to reach it ten days ago.
"We need to rush to the Kielseki plains before we can commence the attack."

Since Mu didn't put some defense artillery emplacements around the Malmund mountains, the Gra Valkas Imperial Army expects heavy resistance at Kielseki Plains.

Celestina sends spies after the Gra Valkas Empire compiled their losses ten days ago. They won't be able to do as they please on Alue ever since Wild Dog wreak havoc on the town couple of weeks ago. They question Celestina's tactics as none of Gra Valkas Officers knew what kind of tactics Celestina used to fight them.
The column of armor and infantries are moving in toward the Malmund Mountain. Sergeant Allieri verifies the information by looking at them through a telescope.
"Seems we're on the right track. They're advancing as planned."
"Sergeant. Inform the Ballistic Ranger Army to prepare for the ambush. I will get the Gunbounder Regiment ready."
"Yes, Ma'am."
Under Feena's instruction, Allieri informs Cecilia about the Gra Valkas Imperial Army movement.
The Celestina Empire, 10th Gunbounder Regiment
"All right, people. Saddle up and give them hell."

The preparation continues as Celestina prepares their defenses at Kielseki plains.

"Our fleet has successfully withered the Holy Milishial Empire's fleet!"
Cheers erupted when Caesar successfully suppressed the Holy Milishial Empire's fleet. Their morale rose slightly after that victory, and it will give the world further fear as the Gra Valkas Empire had already dispatched their fleet to the east, establishing a base and making contact with several lands around Vestal Continent, Third Civilization, and land south of Louria Kingdom.
Caesar's fleet manages to defeat the Holy Milishial Fleet with minimum loss. In addition, he makes an immediate withdrawal once they've managed to destroy one of the Milishial's ace weapons, called Pal Chimera. The Gra Valkas Empire will reconsider the plan after the battle since they have two main targets, the Celestina Empire and the Holy Milishial Empire. Their main target remains the Celestina Empire due to Naguano's information about Celestina's Interstellar technology.
"We're almost out of the cave. Good thing those barbarians didn't attack us."
"Sure is! We will steamroll them in no time!"
"Before we're going out, we will rest for one night."
"Yes, sir!"
General Perth warns them that Celestina could be anywhere, and they have to remain vigilant by any means necessary.

"Ballista Tank standing by."
Celestina deploys the 1st Ballistic Ranger Army on the surrounding of Kielseki Plains. Cecilia Keyron, the Ballistic Ranger Army's Commanding Officer, sets up sniping and defense point, turning the Kielseki plain into a sniping zone. The Special Assault Armor Sniper unit, called Ballista, was placed around ten to thirty kilometers from the edge of the plains. The Ballista Tanks deployment were between twenty to fifty kilometers, and they used a rifled barrel for precision and sniping attack.
"Judgment Archer Division in position."
"Falcon Eyes Division units are in position."
"Ballista Division ready."
They were in their position to commence the attack. As for now, they will wait until the Gra Valkas Empire reaches the kill zone that was already set up last week.
"The 1st Ballistic Ranger Army are in position."
"Reports from the Battle Group Valkyrie at the Ardennes Forest. They secure the central forest."
"It's already Day 10 since they began the attack. How long until the encirclement is complete?"

The Gra Valkas Imperial Army wouldn't be able to redirect their attacks to other objectives since the Army Group North got their hands full. The Central Battle Group began to exercise caution ever since Naguano discovered the technology behind Celestina's arsenals, which is beyond their expectations.

"Depart!"
The first to depart is the 1st Flight from the 4th Luna Squadron. The 1st Flight carried green smoke to carry out the operations as planned. The Gra Valkas Imperial Aircraft began their sortie five minutes after the 1st Flight departed, with four Wings deployed from the airbase. Each Wing consists of five Squadrons, and each Squadron has three Flights, with each Flight houses five aircraft.
"Isn't this overkill? I mean, we've deployed three hundred aircraft just to attack Kielseki."
"Our opponent is not just Mu, but also the Celestina Empire. I'm also initially reluctant to send this much, but since Naguano finds Celestina's technology is beyond our grasp, it's necessary to attack in numbers."
The Gra Valkas Empire, aware of Celestina's presence at Mu, begins their assault on Kielseki.
General Perth returns to his office as other generals discuss their next move.
"As the situation right now, our North Army Group units are struggling to maintain their battle lines. Celestina has already taken control of the forest, and if we want to advance again, we need the Subjugation Army to clear out the monsters that reside inside the forest. We have no idea how Celestina can set up their ambush in the middle of those monsters' den."
"According to Naguano, the Celestina militaries were proficient not only in combat but also handling monsters. This information means we're looking at the army that was proficient in mostly any ground combat that we've experienced so far."
"How about the Air Force? Do we have new information?"
"Currently, none aside of they have aircraft that can fly at sea-skim altitude. Naguano is busy investigating Mu's arsenal on Leifor. He already sends a design to the military office to begin the construction of the anti-tank weapon."
"H-how could make the design so fast? I mean, isn't that supposed to take months to finish it up?"
"The Information Bureau captured and tested the anti-tank weapon. They even brought it back to our homeland to begin mass-producing it."
"So they already have the samples of it?"
"Yes."
If it's true, then the Gra Valkas Empire must possess the anti-tank weapons as soon as possible. The sooner they have an anti-tank weapon, the better their fortifications would be.
"We can't conduct any offensive operation until we have the anti-tank guns."
"Furthermore, we need more aircraft."
"Agreed."
With the meeting adjourned, General Perth and Gaoggel were hoping for good news.

Lieutenant Colonel Myrus is currently briefing with Mu Marin Air Wing stationed at Enubia Airbase. Mu's 106th Air Wing was stationed here, and they fortified their position after Celestina delivered a warning about a massive assault on Mu.
"We will conduct an air raid for the first time. Celestina will deploy the Harbinger Gunship, LSF-3, and INSF-4 to secure air superiority and bombard the Valkyries Base. They will depart in the first group. The second group will be us, consisting of P-51 Mustang and P-47 Thunderbolt lend-lease by Celestina. We will make a straight run to the Valkyries Base to commence an attack run."
"So we will leave the heavy work to Celestina? I was hoping we were dispatched in the first group."
"If you are already proficient enough from the War Games, maybe you can ask the command about it."
For Myrus, he didn't want to let the pilots die in vain, as Mu is sending every fresh recruit to the Celestina Empire to conduct a basic course and War Games to hone their skills. Not to mention every pilot on Mu is conducting reintroduction training to make themselves comfortable on the aircraft lent by Celestina.
"Celestina already displays some key targets for us, as they will soften defenses and allow us to make an attack run easier than before."
A pilot raises his hand.

"Why we haven't seen any Celestina pilot here? Aren't they supposed to attend the meeting like us?"
"They already received a briefing fifteen minutes ago."
"Then, we must get going immediately!"
Mu pilots are rushing to their respective aircraft while Celestina pilots are preparing to line up on the runway. The Harbinger gunships were already departed from the airbase, while next in queue are Ludmila's ISF-8, INSF-4, and LSF-3. Parterim, one of Mu's proficient pilots, saw Celestina's aircraft preparing to take off on the runway.
"No, sorry. Mu will get there first."
"Parterim! Don't cut the line on our runway!"
"No, thank you! Let's show our pride!"
Bringing the P-51 Mustang to the runway, he makes the engine goes full throttle, and he can feel his body pressed to the chair.
"I will protect Mu!"
Gaining enough speed to reach V2, the aircraft takes off the runway. Looking back to the queue line, he chuckled as he saw some of the pilots also begin to take off one after another.

Celestina's aircraft are joining the Harbinger Gunship Squadron, and some are lowering their altitude to prepare for the dogfight against the Gra Valkas Empire.

Thirty Fighters and Interceptors are escorting ten Harbinger Gunships to the destination. Their destination is Valkyries Base.
"Let four Luna Interceptors pass. Ice Zero-One, they're yours to shot down once they pop green flares and away from the Central Army Group Invasion Force."
"Copy that, Ice Maiden."
"Don't let the ground forces notice you."
One of the LSF-3 Fighter is breaking away from the formation, slowing the flight, and waiting for the Luna Interceptor to make a pass while Ludmila and the 2nd Assault Squadron escorting the Harbinger Gunship to the attack destination.
"The Interceptors should be here in five minutes. The Main Force is fifteen minutes behind."
"Magnifier here. Trigger your active camouflage to mask your presence. The same goes for the 2nd Assault Squadron."
"Ten-four."
Vanishing themselves to the thin air, Celestina proceed with their plan.
The Gra Valkas Empire, 4th Luna Squadron, 1st Flight, 0835 Hours
"We're almost reaching the exit of the Malmund Tunnel."
"Prepare the green smoke."
The Luna Interceptors pilot prepares a green smoke, and as soon as they reach the Malmund Tunnel exit, they pop a green smoke to begin the ground offensive operations.
"Alright. Let's give Mu some shit to scare."
The Luna Interceptors were speeding up to 600km/h, going straight for Kielseki to commence the first attack run. The pilots saw Mu aircraft ahead, as they were just scrambled moments ago to intercept them. But what catches their attention is Mu didn't use any Marin aircraft.
"Is that aircraft belongs to Mu?"
"I don't think—"
BOOM!
"W-what!?"
One of the aircraft was frozen and fell to the ground, and he saw another two aircraft were shot down in quick succession by an unknown attack.
"Where is it?"
Looking from behind, he saw an LSF-3 is heading to intercept him.
"Bollocks! I won't let you get me!"
He tries to do some maneuvers, but futile as it can keep up with him.
"Stay away from me!"
But Grim Reaper does not abandon him, as a few laser shot from the LSF-3 kills him along with destroying the aircraft.
Parterim saw Celestina's LSF-3 Fighter is taking care of the Luna Interceptors. Somehow, he can see the Fighter is turning around and activating its afterburner again to rejoin the assault team.
"How fast is that aircraft?"
The Gra Valkas Empire, Assault Wing, Destination: Kielseki, 0840 Hours
"Major General Borg confirms Luna 1st Flight has popped the green flares."
"Excellent. We have to bomb Kielseki before they can have their turn to attack."
"Quite a shame if we turn those towns to rubble in one attack."
The Gra Valkas Empire maintains its formation, with Luna Interceptors at the front, Vega Bomber and Sirius bomber in the middle, and Antares at rear and center. In ten minutes, they would reach the exit of the Malmund Tunnel.
"Fifty minutes to the destination."
As they were on the way to reach the Malmund Mountain exit, two missiles struck a Vega bomber and Sirius bomber. The aircraft becomes frozen and falls to the ground.
"A-ambush!"
"Where's that come from?! Everyone disperses from your formation, now! Protect the bombers!"
Around twenty unknown fighters were approaching from above, shooting down several bombers, interceptors, and fighters as they approached.
"This is bullshit! How did they get above us unnoticed!"
"Sir! We've identified the vessel! It bears a winged shield with a staff!"
"That means Celestina Empire is here already! Protect the bombers! Don't let them destroy it!"
"Additional contact, six minutes out! We've got Mu Aircraft on approach!"
"Fuck! They aim to pincer us!"
The Gra Valkas Imperial Air Force is disoriented following the ambush by the Celestina Empire, and Mu is about to engage them head-on.
The Celestina Empire, 2nd Assault Squadron
"Ice Maiden. Contact in one minute."
A pilot reports to Ludmila for the contact with the Gra Valkas Imperial Air Force that would soon be below their flight altitude in one minute. An LSF-3 was a minute behind them, as it had just finished whooping up the 1st Luna Flight.
"Spear One to Spear Five, continue escorting the gunships to the destination. All aircraft except Spear One to Spear Five, battle mode."
The LSF-3 and INSF-4 entered battle positions from escort positions with spreading their wings for battle, revealing themselves from active camouflage.
"We'll have Mu get around fifty to a hundred to give them experience. Once we get two hundred kills, we will rejoin the Spear Flight."
"Yes, Ma'am."
"Split up. Ice Zero-One to Zero-Five, you're with me. Split up into Flight units to disorient them. We have five minutes before Mu can take care of the rest."

Celestina began their engagement on the Gra Valkas Imperial Air Force. The attack surprises the Gra Valkas Empire, as their formation becomes disoriented when Celestina ambushes them from the sky.

"Fuck! I can't shake it off!"
He saw another Antares Fighter shot down by the engine freeze from Celestina's Ice Missile that exploded right below the engine. He's struggling to shake Celestina's Interceptor off as he watches in horror that the bomber column was destroyed one after another by Celestina's attack.
"Leave me alone! I don't sign up for this!"
Fate tells differently as the Antares Fighter pilot loses consciousness when Celestina LSF-3's laser pierces through his head through the canopy from behind.
Chaos erupts when Celestina destroys at least half of Sirius and Vega bombers in under four minutes. The Luna Interceptors and Antares Fighters are unable to get close, let alone their guns didn't work because of Celestina's shielding that can resist their weapon.
"How did our cannons did not work against these aircraft?"
"They have some kind of technology that we've never seen before!"
"We have to retreat! We've taken too many losses here!"
"Celestina's aircraft are withdrawing!"
"They…. They're heading to our base!"
"Stop them!"
Celestina's 2nd Assault Squadron is withdrawing once Celestina scores 178 kills, leaving 80 Bombers, 22 Antares Fighters, and 20 Luna Interceptors in the hands of Mu.
CLANG! CLANG! BOOM!
"What now!?"
"Mu's aircraft has arrived! They're targeting our bombers!"
"Shit! Stop them and get our bombers to turn around!"
Lieutenant Bernst can only watch in terror as Mu begins dogfighting against Gra Valkas Bombers that were abandoned by either Antares or Luna escorts to dogfight against Celestina's 2nd Assault Squadron earlier.
"Headquarters! Headquarters! Celestina Squadrons are heading to the Valkyries base! I repeat! Celestina Squadrons are heading to the Valkyries base!"
"Are you sure about that?"
"Yes, sir! We've confirmed that at least twenty aircraft were heading for Valkyries Base, and we're holding off Mu's attack at the moment!"
The dogfight began between Mu and the Gra Valkas Empire. Bernst realizes that the Gra Valkas Empire is now outnumbered 4 to 1, with 400 Mu aircraft engaging his remaining Assault Wing.
"We can't win like this! We have to retreat!"
But, as the Bombers started to turn around, they were shot down by Mu Fighters, not letting them escape.
"Goddamn it! We have to retreat, now!"
Just then, two of Mu P-51 Lightning were firing on his aircraft, destroying the left part of the wing, and began to spin out of control.
"No!"
The dogfight continued for several minutes until none of the Antares Fighter and Luna Interceptors survived the onslaught. The bombers were destroyed in the middle of retreating, giving Mu a clear path to attack Valkyries Base.
The Gra Valkas Empire, Valkyries Base, 0900 Hours
VWOOOO! VWOOOO!
"All hands! Battle stations! I repeat! All hands! Battle stations!"
When Lieutenant Bernst reported the base would receive an impending attack by the Celestina Empire, the Gra Valkas 77th and 78th Defense Corps were mobilized to anticipate Celestina's arrival. The 12th Defense Corps were currently paving the road around Alue, as they did not have time to scramble and return to the base.
General Gaoggel and General Perth immediately went to the command room to assess the situation.
"What is the situation?"
One of the officers delivers a report, "General Perth! Lieutenant Bernst confirms at least twenty of Celestina Fighters were heading towards our base! We would expect an attack in three hours!"
"No. Not three hours, thirty minutes! Tell all aircraft to sortie at once!"
"Sir?"
"They can travel up to five times faster than us! Get every pilot to their aircraft now!"
"Y-yes, sir!"
The 77th and 78th Defense Corps brought out their anti-air vehicle from the garage, the personnel began mounting the anti-air weapon, and the ground crew prepared the aircraft for interception.
Officers began to deliver the report as soon as the preparations were complete.
"Report! The anti-air batteries were fully operational!"
"Report! We've assigned the Anti-air vehicles to their assigned positions!"
"Report! The aircraft were ready to launch to intercept!"
"Tell them to look up the sky."
"Yes, sir!"
The soldiers assigned with binoculars were looking up at the sky. All in that, the preparation was complete in one hour.
The Celestina Empire, Valkyries Base, 1000 Hours
"We're right on schedule."
"It seems they were alerted of our arrival."
The 2nd Assault Squadron watched the Gra Valkas Imperial Army scrambling their defenses. Celestina flies at thirty thousand feet, which outranges most of the anti-aircraft batteries operated by the Gra Valkas Empire.
"Look at that. They got a bunch of anti-aircraft guns that can reach this altitude."
"Then it's best for us to take them out first."
"Alright. Harbinger 1st Flight, take out the facilities, and the 2nd Flight, take out those guns and don't let any of the aircraft take off."
"Yes, Ma'am."
"Use the MAC Ballista to obliterate them. Let's expose ourselves."
Revealing themselves from the active camouflage, the Harbinger Gunships deployed MAC Ballista. As soon as the Ballista aims to the Valkyries Base, Ludmila gives the order.
"Fire at will."
BAM! BAM! PEW!
At first, the bombardment went according to plan, but suddenly they could feel the aircraft shaking from some of the anti-air battery shot from the Valkyries Base. The flak began to blooms one after another on the surrounding aircraft.
"Damn it. They were prepared even though it's very short notice."
"Shielding wasn't affected much, and I think we should distance ourselves to increase their dispersion of fire."
"Understood. Make distance of five kilometers and remain in bombardment altitude."
"Yes, Ma'am."
The Harbinger 2nd Flight slows down the speed, making a gap of 5km as the bombardment continues. Ludmila looked at the aircraft began lining up.
"Don't let any of them leave the airfield."
"Copy that."
Once the Harbinger 2nd Flight destroys several heavy anti-aircraft guns, the Gunships shift their attack to the aircraft lining up on the taxiway.
The Gra Valkas Empire, Valkyries Base
"Where are you…?"
The lookouts were looking up at the sky, observing every irregularity around the sky. When the first attack arrives, it surprises General Perth and Gaoggel.
"Our base is under attack!"
"Sir! We've lost the Radar Station!"
"What!?"
"Found them! They're up high!"
"Fire!"
The heavy anti-air batteries began to fire in unison, aiming towards the Harbinger Gunships and the 2nd Assault Squadron. But the counterattack was too fierce, as the bombardment makes a quick work of the heavy anti-air batteries.
"We've lost over sixty percent of the heavy anti-air batteries!"
BOOM!
"What now!?"
"Sir! They're aiming at the runway and taxiway! They intend to keep our aircraft grounded!"
"That's impossible! How did they know?"
In New World's common sense, the airfield would be the last thing to attack. But in terms of Celestina, the important facilities become the first target before setting sights on the runway and taxiway. Thinking of how Celestina set their first target on the important facility, General Perth realizes that the Celestina Empire has understood the concept of Modern Warfare. Fighting Celestina now requires a Modern Warfare approach than New World Warfare's approach.
"Additional radio contact! We've lost contact with the entire Wing deployed for Kielseki! Last information indicates that Mu dispatched at least three hundred and fifty aircraft heading to our base!"
"Bollocks! Our defenses wouldn't be ready to face Mu!"
The bombardment continued as the Gra Valkas Imperial Aircraft were grounded, with Antares Fighter, Luna Interceptor, Sirius Bomber, and Vega Bomber could not advance. In addition, once the objectives were complete, Celestina began bombarding their military assets to reduce their fighting strength.
"Report! Most of the medium and heavy anti-air batteries have been destroyed!"
"We've lost forty-five percent of our defenses!"
"Our Air Wing is grounded!"
After one hour, Celestina stops the bombardment. The aircraft withdrew as it served its purposes. The officers began assessing the damage and reported to the higher-ups.
"Overall, we've lost over fifty percent of our defenses…."
General Gaoggel only replies by smashing the table with his fist. "If we keep up this campaign, we won't be able to hold Leifor should they begin their counterattack. We have to prepare for withdrawal to defend Leifor."
"Sir? But the command would not tolerate it."
"Tolerate, my ass! They're as what Naguano has described!"
Another hour passed, the lookout spotted hundreds of black dots, and it slowly got bigger as it approached the Valkyries Base.
"S-sir! Mu's aircraft is here!"
"We're done for…."

"Man, those War Games are very handy to us."
"It's good to know that we kept our losses at a minimum from a previous engagement."
"Now I know why Lieutenant Colonel Myrus wants to send us in a small batch to Celestina for War Games gradually rather than a big batch."
From 400 Mu Aircraft set out for Valkyries Base, 7 of P-51 and 5 of P-47 were shot down from the recent dogfight against the Gra Valkas Empire, with 388 aircraft remains advancing to the Valkyries Base. The training effort Mu pilot did at the Celestina Empire was paid off by annihilating the rest of the Gra Valkas Imperial Air Force in under fifteen minutes. If they weren't trained and attending War Games, the casualties could be higher.
Wing Commander Nagi is leading Mu's Air Wing, and he's scheduled to receive the promotion as Group Captain should the Valkyries Base be captured in an upcoming operation. But, experiencing War Games from Celestina Empire makes him think that Lieutenant Colonel Myrus' deduction is right on the spot.
"We can't afford to fail our allies here. Now we're preparing ourselves to walk together with the Celestina Empire. Let's make sure we do our job properly!"
"Yes, sir!"
"Commander, look!"
Nagi saw smokes enveloped from the Gra Valkas Valkyries Base, and much to his fortune, over half of the anti-aircraft batteries had been taken out by Celestina's first attack.

Overall, the Gra Valkas Empire lost 30% of the 44th Defense Army, excluding the 12th Defense Corps stationed on Alue and 43rd Reserve Army that were stationed 200km West of Valkyries Base as a reserve unit. The damage on the Valkyries Base, however, was devastating. With ninety percent of the anti-air batteries, the entire artillery batteries and at least sixty percent of defense emplacements were destroyed by a combined attack of Celestina and Mu. A total of eighty percent base defenses were destroyed today.
Mu only suffered fifteen damaged aircraft from the recent attack, while Celestina did not suffer any casualties.
