Instead of using the few points that I still had, I decided to immediately do a mission that would eventually bring problems, but if it did, fuck it!
Using the Grimoire that I had, I accepted the mission, which made a summoning scroll pop out of the Grimoire. This was a catalyst to summon Tamano-no-Mae, also known as the adorable fox girl from Fate, Caster, and all that.
I took a few deep breaths before I tempted lady luck, and began the summoning ritual. The singular issue with this mission was the concept of having a 'good enough soul', aren't we all contractors? Is it even possible that we have any kind of good will in our bones if we accept this job at all?
That's why I was trying this so early in my venture as a contractor, it simply seemed easier to accept that right now I would be at my 'purest', and that everything from here was more likely than not, downhill.
After all, one doesn't become a Contractor merely because he held love in their heart.
It was by luck that no one had seen the ritual, for even from afar, it was blindingly calling for everything, as magic had not been around for at the very least, a century and a half before Daenerys had hatched her dragons, and with that, bringing back magic to Westeros.
Have you ever seen the Aurora Borealis? I doubt Westeros ever had it, but if they could see the emanating Prana that came from the ritual, and the effects it was causing to the dark sky... It was beautiful.
Almost as beautiful as Tamano-no-Mae, of course.
"Stay back, I don't want to scare her." I told both Mulan and Rapunzel as Mulan took Rapunzel to hide behind the trees as the aurora borealis-like effect came to a standdown, instead, the foxy woman being more than enough to rile me up due to her beauty and her magnificent body. She might be a priest, but her effects on me were certainly considered 'unholy', so to speak.
"I presume that you're Caster?" I hazarded that, since she was a Servant, she might still want to go by her class' name instead of her 'real name'.
"You would be correct… but where are we?" She asked as she looked around.
"We're in Westeros, more accurately speaking, in the Kingdom of the North." I told her as she momentarily shivered, likely due to the cold as I gave her my jacket, the cold not bothering me as much due to my defense.
"Westeros?" She asks herself, looking around confused, did something happen?
"Are we perhaps in some Lostbelt?" She asked herself, trying to whisper, but all for naught for I could still hear her words. "But that doesn't make sense because I can't even feel the Holy Grail active." She continues to speak to herself.
"Oh, noble Caster, would you grant me the honor of being your Master?" I decided to interrupt her as she looked at me, up and down as she seemed to be wondering if I was worthy or not. Could this be…
"Sure!" She said, in a very positive note as she looked around. "This is very different from the last time I was summoned anywhere, there isn't a beach to laze around." She said as I nodded at her words, right, she should still possess the memories of her Summer self, I have to remember this isn't like the actual Gacha where both types are treated like separate beings.
"I must ask you something, of utmost importance." I told her as she looked at me, tilting her head, wondering what would be the request, and I apologize for asking such a thing so soon, but I need to finish my mission.
"What is it?" She asked as I picked a brush that I cleaned before coming here.
"Can I brush your tail?" I asked as she blushed as she couldn't believe what I was saying.
"Isn't this a bit too forward?" She asked as I nodded.
"Perhaps, but I always wanted to touch the tail of a Kitsune, you see." I told her as she looked around.
"Maybe somewhere where it's warmer?" She tried to deflect the request, but I could understand it, it was pretty cold outside, even with my defenses.
"We could go to the Green Eye Orb and buy a place for us." I said as I looked at my Grimoire, surprised by the rather ridiculous amount of points that I had received already. A hundred points? For what?! With my mind racing against itself, I checked the additional objectives only to notice that the hundred points were for… choosing Nasuverse as my starting world? …Is that even applicable since this is a crossover? Hell, I didn't even know if that's legal.
But on the bright side that means we have more than enough credits to splurge in a location.
"Mulan, Rapunzel, we're going shopping." I told them as they finally got out of the woods, introducing themselves to Tamano, and she did the same, before I took the moment to buy the Green Eye Orb, now we "merely" had 101 points to splurge.
The place was… Exorbitant, with people buying, selling, I could tell from a glance which ones were contractors and who were simply clients who bought their own waifus- I think I just saw a female Luffy running around, wow.
"I just don't want anything that resembles a tower." I turned to look at Rapunzel, grasping her hand as I softly caressed it.
"Don't worry, I wasn't planning in any of that." I told her, and it was true. Besides towers and castles were unbelievably pricy and I don't need something pricy.
"What's that?" Mulan asked as she saw a monitor, showing a pokemon battle… but instead of pokemons, one was using Digimon and the other was using a demon from Shin Megami Tensei.
"Tamer fight." Someone answered for me, as I turned to see the one and only, Aluca- That's a contractor, isn't it?
"You get used to it, so, what can I do to you, looking for something to buy? Please, visit my emporium." He said as he guided us through the population as we found ourselves looking at several miniatures inside his antiquary looking shop.
"How does this work?" Tamano asked as the Alucard looking Contractor smiled.
"I have used magic to create miniatures of these building, and once they're sold, I grow them, not to mention they come with all the amenities necessary such as plumbing and electricity and food if you have the Warehouse district." I don't, but I don't necessarily need it all that much yet, we're still few here, and as my companions decided to look for somewhere to live in, I noticed the… floating cheese.
"What's with the cheese?" I asked him as he slapped the floating cheese.
"This cheese is currently aging at a much faster rate of a 1000 years per hour, I wanted to see how much better this particular brand of cheese will be after a few days." I feel like there's something wrong about this…
"Wouldn't it just grow mold after the first hour?" I asked him as he shook his head.
"I asked some of my reality warp waifus to make the cheese unmoldable." I blinked a few times, couldn't he have just asked them to make the cheese perfect already?
"Gared, we should buy this one." I shook my head as I heard Mulan call me as I saw a very nice building, although I'm not sure if I want it, sounds like asking for bad luck.
"Oh, the Overlook hotel huh, I had to spend a few hours with my clones to make sure the place wasn't haunted anymore, but no promises if ghosts of the present world do manage to stay stuck there." That's a thing? Damn.
"Is that why this place's cheap?" Mulan decided to ask after she stopped looking over the miniature.
"Parcially, mostly because no one wants a hotel in comparison to buying a planet, dimension or a castle." He said as I nodded, it did make some sense now that I thought about it.
"Well, we're buying it then." I told him as he grinned as we shook hands.
"So, which world do you come from?" He asked me as I simply decided to show him my world as he raised an eyebrow.
"Why the hell would you put Game of Thrones between Fire Emblem and Skyrim?" He asked me.
"I thought it would be funny." I told him as he chuckled.
"Okay, so, you take the miniature, throw at wherever you want it to be, and it will stay there until you position your demiplane or whatever into another place since the moment you buy it, the hotel and whatever else you buy will be bound by your demiplane." He explained to me as I nodded, buying the hotel as I took my dear companions back into the world where we tried to discuss where we would put the overlook hotel.
"It makes the most sense to have it next to the road, the only issue would be handling any kind of fights with either bandits or wildlings, but you gals are pretty strong already." I said, more to myself than them, before deciding that yeah, next to the road would be a good idea.
They went to the hotel, and I had to stop myself from simply and blindly following them, I had to figure out if I wanted to keep the façade of being a mere boy, son of a pig farmer, or if I wanted to step up as I was, at the end of the day, the Contractor that I am.
The only issue was that there was not much I could do about it, training my TS wasn't as easy as snapping my fingers, and even trying to train the more normal aspect of myself such as smithing or fighting would simply bring too many questions. What an annoyance this can be.
Maybe I should just use the shroud to capture the more 'notable people' so to speak, but first, I decided to buy Land and Everlasting talent, while sharing Soul Talent, since I'm planing in teaching them magicka later, even if it's simple wards to protect themselves since they should be, Rapunzel aside, strong enough to beat a lot of stuff.
Well, I still had more than enough time before the plot began picking up, from what I understand.
I can just step up when the Dragons resurface to this world, but now, I had to train because well, I don't want to be a weakling, you know? I'm just hoping that they don't invade us during the war of the five kings.
