A prelude to my take on Mortal Kombat 5. Since rewriting all the games would take a while, this is instead a summarization of what the characters, old and new, would be doing in my take on each game.

From Liu Kang's victory over Shang Tsung, through the return of Shinnok and Onaga, all the way to Armageddon, witness the re-imagining of the events of Mortal Kombat's original timeline with slight changes, more characters and perhaps going even further than where the story originally ended.

Inspired by the 'Sub-Zero Stays Dizzy' sketch video by Dorkly. After a duel fight with Scorpion, Sub-Zero ends up in an endless state of dizziness and everyone learns that maybe a brutal fatality is better than the alternative. Warning, potential themes of euthanasia

Raiden must desperately gather champions for the tenth tournament. Meanwhile, Shang Tsung does everything he can to ensure outworld finally merges with earth realm. the events of the first game retold with a larger roster. Some oc's included, but not the focus.

All firstborn daughters by tradition are forfeit to the Umgadi. Why should she be any different? A series of events explaining Mileena's honorary status as an Umgadi warrior.

It is done: Titan Shang Tsung and Quan Chi have been defeated. Fire God Liu Kang and his champions have restored peace in their new timeline. For now. Liu Kang retreats to the hourglass with Geras and his champions go back to their lives. After some time, however, they realize that Shang Tsung was not the last threat to the realms and some champions are caught up in their past...

The era of Yun Lian's clan is coming to an end. The only way to save it is to merge with another clan. When Bi-Han, the Grandmaster of the Lin Kuei appears on her doorstep, she soon realizes that the marriage is more than meets the eye. [pre-MK1]

The Mortal Kombat story... but different! A reboot of my original quadrilogy of stories, in this timeline, some familiar faces and characters aren't quite as familiar as you might think.
