Gate thus the Tenno fought there

ESKK: Here we go my own attempt at a Gate Warframe crossover. Let's get started on this chapter properly. This is once more me leaving my comfort areas for new ideas, so do enjoy.

(Start Ostron Coastal Village Earth)

When you imagine life in the Origin System, what comes to mind is a Grineer Asteroid Base, a Corpus City, or a Relay in orbit. Not a collection of buildings made of wood and stone. But this was what it was like in their colony.

They had traveled long in their convoy of ships in search for a new life on Earth, being saved from a Grineer Galleon that would have either destroyed them. It was only thanks to a Tenno, one of those who slaughtered the Orokin long ago, that they were able to escape and settle on this island in the North-West Hemisphere of Earth.

Having settled along a beach in a bay in the south-west part of the island, whatever traces of civilization, Orokin, or otherwise, had long been lost to time, and they had built a life for themselves here. They had survived the New War and Narmer. The Murex that crashed in the bay was left alone, a constant reminder of what Ballas subjected them to, his 'truth'.

But that peaceful life was now gone, the town in flames and corpses littered the streets, but this was not a Grineer raid as you would expect. No, this enemy was different.

They arrived from some sort of void gate inside a stone gateway that appeared from thin air in the main plaza. They emerged from the dark portal, men in iron armor, with massive, winged lizards as mounts and countless creatures of varying sizes. They slaughtered those who fought back, and captured those who didn't, who knows what they had planned for them. She had been thrown into a nearby marsh and had been knocked out when a nearby gas tank they used for heating during the winter had caught fire and exploded. Several of their soldiers were in the blast radius and were strewn across the ground in various states of injury, some even dead.

When she woke up, she let the air in her lungs escape and quickly swam to the surface. Taking a moment to catch her breath, she looked at the marsh and saw the bodies in the water filled with arrows. They had tried to escape like her, but had been shot by their archers, but these were not the arrows she knew, the ones her people uses were finely built out of light metal. These arrows were made of wood, with metal tips and feather lining at the back. This manner of construction had been abandoned millennia ago, even by the Ostron, so why did these people have them.

She was stirred from her thoughts and grief when she heard the tongue of the invaders, no doubt looking for survivors. She saw them try to wade through the water, but a Grineer Lancer would have a better time moving through the water than them in their single plate armor, which looked heavy. But she quickly noted that some of them had horses, who could easily traverse the marsh.

She knew where she had to go to get help, putting on her hood, she ran into the jungle that surrounded the area. Unfortunately, her presence alerting the soldiers who shouted, arrows flying towards her but missing or hitting the trees. Luck was on her side for now, but for how long?

Running as fast as she could, she found what she was looking for, an old Orokin Tower, long abandoned. It's once opulent white and gold covered by overgrowth for centuries of disuse. Climbing the stairs, she entered the main hall and within, she found the comms array. It had been installed here in case of a Grineer raid, but this would surely qualify too.

Before she got to it, she took out a lotus flower, glowing with purple light. Since the beginning of life, it had been prized as a rare beauty, and yet it blooms amidst filth and decay. More than that it was the symbol of the Tenno. Sure, their clans had different names and symbols on their banners, but this flower represented them. She placed it on the table to remind her of who she was calling. She turned on the radio system, humming to life as the generator powered it up. Once the screen lit up, she chose the ones who would receive the message and spoke.

"Tenno, if you are receiving this message, we need your help." She began as she could hear those chasing her approach the tower. "Our colony has been attacked by unknown men, with strange beasts and monsters, they came from some sort of void gate." She continued tending out the call. "You helped us once when you could have left us to die, so I'm begging you. Please help us." She said and with that she ended the call.

Now that the message had been sent, with the coordinates of this tower attached to the message, she only hoped they got here in time to save her people. The men would no doubt be upon her, but it did not matter soon the Tenno would slaughter these invaders and reveal their Void Fury.

(Scene Break Orbiter Kahl's Camp)

Meditation helps to clear the mind and rest your body, especially after battle. Provided Ordis didn't interrupt him with random trivia or his attempts at humor. Even after learning the truth about him from the scattered Cephalon Fragments across the system, he'd accepted him as a part of the team, even after he built that little Sentinel body, his Host Migrator as he called it, during Narmer's occupation of the system.

A young man sat in his room contemplating the stars behind with his eyes closed. He was utilizing the Dex Operator Suit a gift from the Lotus in celebration of the Tenno's awakening into this Galaxy. The Hood was open revealing his Somatic Marks around the left side of his face. His hair was a mix of ebony black and ivory white with his skin a healthy shade from traversing outside his Warframe in Cetus or in Kahls camp. His Warframe and trusted ally Excalibur Umbra had taken up residence in the Transference Chamber. Long after the end of the New War all Tenno were preparing for the next great battle. Something was coming from the Void and yet none of them knew what it was only that it was there.

His Orbiter was currently situated in the cave at Kahl's camp. It was nice to have a place to land the ship every once in a while. Plus, with the modifications made the ship can enter and leave with ease. Plus, he enjoyed the meals cooked here far more then eating bland nutrition cubes every day of the week.

Just then Ordis floated over to him in his Host Migrator, looking worried. "Operator, you are receiving a direct communication from Lua, it's the Lotus." Ordis reported which got the attention of this Tenno.

"Alright put her through." The Tenno said and from there Lotus's image appeared as a hologram to the Tenno.

"Tenno; Balwin, my child I just received a distress call from a remote colony, they are under attack." She began which got the warriors attention. "From what I have gathered; they are from the convoy you saved when you were dealing with Vor all those years ago when you first awoke." She revealed and thus this brought some nostalgia to the boy. "You saved them once; you must save them again. Their settlement has been uploaded to Navigation." She said getting to the point,

"Is it a Grineer raid, Nef Anyo looking for a quick credit, or an Infested Horde?" Balwin asked as he wanted to be ready for whatever was terrorizing this colony.

"From what the message states, they appear to be humans, but clothed and armed with primitive clothing and weapons." She said which was surprising to say the least. It was commonly believed that only the Tenno had used primitive weapons since they make said weapons into tools of mass murder and death. "Single plate armor and wooden bows and arrows." She added which made this Operator concerned. "Though they did report sightings of massive, winged lizards, like the old stories about dragons, being used as mounts and strange creatures." She continued which made this all the more concerning.

"I'll investigate, check for survivors and eliminate them." Balwin said as he knew that whatever was going on it had to be taken care of.

"The mission will be at your discretion, but see if you can capture any high-ranking officials, they may have information we can use." The Lotus said knowing that any information they can gather could be of use to them.

"Officers always want to stand out from the grunts, make themselves feel important. I'll know them when I see them." Balwin said as he had done his fair share of capture missions to identify officers. "Anything else?" Balwin asked as he looked to the Lotus.

"One last thing Tenno, it says that these people came through a void gate, investigate and if possible, shut it down." Lotus said as this surprised Balwin as it made him worried that the Man in the Wall was involved somehow.

"Got it." Balwin said as the needed to deal with the immediate crisis first. So, with that he went to prepare his loadout running through a mental checklist of what he knew about such foes. According to historical data and his own history lessons these people sounded like some sort of primitive army and if that is the case then these foes will rely more on numbers, attrition, and firm loyalty to the military hierarchy. Of course, there may be variations from what was in the history books, that and most records of the past had been sealed away by the Orokin, to discard any blemishes to the Golden Record, and Drusus, who recorded only the stories of Warframes.

Prepping his gear Balwin began to ask the major question to Ordis. "Ordis any other Tenno enroute to the mission sight?" Balwin asked as he looked to the Cephalon.

"Yes, Operator the Lotus sent the call to your squad." Ordis said and with a nod Balwin knew what, to be ready for.

"Good, see if you can send a request that one of them bring a Helios so it can scan the enemy forces." Balwin said as he made his choice on his loadout.

"Already done Operator and a response came in from Juvi she'll bring her Helios Prime for the mission." Ordis said and in turn Balwin was ready. His Warframe was of course Excalibur Umbra with the weapon being the Skiajiti, his main arm was the Kuuva Bramma, and his side arm was the Spira Prime. He recalled the last battle before having to go into hibernation and was feeling a little nostalgic with a hint of overkill.

(Scene Break Void Gate site)

The fires of chaos still burned as monsters and horseback riders continued their assault. Finding people who were hidden, taking what they want, and killing the rest. As they continued their invasion it was clear that they did not have good intention in mind, especially when the women were being gathered up... at least the better-looking ones.

There were many creatures one would only find in a storybook from days of old. Creatures with pig heads as their actual heads, green skinned monsters with small tusks for teeth, and even an actual dragon flying about. Amongst those taken was the hooded girl who sent the call for help. She had been captured after her signal was sent as she hoped the Tenno would get here soon to deal with these men. They acted like savages in her eyes wielding armor and weapons that had not been used since before the Orokin Empire.

The girl yelped out in surprise as she was suddenly dragged to her feet and laid out before who she assumed was the leader. "You seem to know your way around here." The man said glaring down at the girl. "Tell me where are we?!" He demanded as the girl glared at him.

"My village which you and your mutants have ransacked." The girl snapped causing the man to slap her to the side.

"I won't ask again." He said glaring down at the girl.

"If you can't figure it out on your own then I won't tell you shit." She said before glaring at the man. "I suggest you and your lot release me and my people before going back into that gate you came from before the Tenno show up." She said without a hint of fear in her eyes. "If you don't leave before the Tenno show up, you're all going to regret it." She said giving these men the chance to run and save themselves. The way she spoke the conviction in her voice many of the currently captured knew that the Tenno were a real threat to these invaders. No, the Tenno were the grim reapers to these invaders just one would be enough to take them out.

"Tenno? What is a Tenno?" One of the soldiers asked as he approached the commanding officer of this soldier band.

"No idea some kind of deity here?" The Officer offered but then glanced around the land they found themselves in. "What sort of world are we in?" He wondered as he felt that there was something off about this world. "Regardless start taking these people back through the gate they will prove useful to us as slaves." He said and thus the subordinate nodded and prepared to cart these people off to serve their empire.

Unknown to them, they were already there, and they will show no mercy to the invaders.

(Umbra Excalibur)

As the black Warframe soon arrived at the location near the village as he saw some of the invaders patrolling around the area as he ready himself before he charge at the first enemy

A soldier grunt was patrolling the area looking for any more people around to take, with another grunt ahead as they were just looking around as the first one didn't notice his friend was killed intently as the Umbra Excalibur came in knocking the grunt up before stabbing him in the chest as he just fell into the blade itself, with the first grunt heard a sound and turn to where his friend was just to see him now dead as he was about to yell out to his comrades, but then a Kubrow jumped him as it bites and rips his throat out silencing him for good.

Balwin look to his Pet, seeing it eliminate the enemy quickly, he give a nod to it as the Kubrow pants happily before moving out.

Nearby as a group of Orc like creature walk down the path near the village as he one leading them didn't notice the Tenno dropping down behind, in between the orcs as he cut them down quickly with his sword, steal a dagger from one of them as the leading orc turn around and got a dagger thrown into his head as it drops dead.

Is that all the knights, grunts, and monster notice him before one yell out as all the ones nearby charge at the Tenno as Balwin quickly rush to the dead orc that he throw the dagger at as he pulled it out and throw it at another enemy as some archer were shooting arrows at him, he quickly grab the nearby grunt as he cut his throat killing him quickly while using his body like a shield to block the arrows before he rush them and took them down one by one.

While the enemy was focus on him, the Kubrow rush behind some of mages as they were about to cast magic fireball of sort but turn around quickly as they heard the sound and throw the fireball but ended up hitting a tree near them causing the explosion force of the spell to hit them as well in the A.O.E range, killing them right away.

Balwin was rushing in a straight line as the grunts followed him, before they see him run up a cliff wall, getting higher and higher before he jumps off, drew an Exalted Blade before coming back down hard in the middle of the enemy forces, while unleashing a Radial Javelin killing most of the grunts around him as they give out a death cry which echo throughout the area

(With the commander)

Back with the girl and the commander heard the sound of battle from the distant as they heard many cries of death and scream of fear before they were silent, as the man look to the girl and said to her, "What's going on?"

"They're here," the girl said as she smiles, knowing that the invaders are doomed now, it wasn't a matter of when, but a matter of how they might die.

(Mag Prime high above)

A mag Prime Warframe was flying through the air on her Archwing as she was attacking and killing the dragon riders she was coming across as she either shoots at them or outright cut off one of the dragon wings making both the beast and its rider fall to their deaths, killing many of them, but this has not gone unnoticed by the soldiers below as some aimed and fire arrow at the flying Warframe while other launch a catapult sending a huge fire ball at Mag.

It was coming at her fast as she took the hit, with her shield took most of the blow leaving her with just enough to survive the arrows coming at her, but her Archwing disengage leaving her free falling, but she didn't mind as she had a plan, as the Tenno started to use Mag's ability to gather all the metal tipped arrows, making them circle around her as when she landed all the archers were shocked by this seeing a new enemy they never saw before use ability they never knew about, with some calling it 'Witch craft' but the Mag user knew it was much more than that.

The arrows soon pointed out to all the surrounding invaders as she sent all the arrows back at the archers, killing them and many of the grunt soldiers, and some strange creatures all in one go as the Tenno spoken in a female voice saying, "Hey Balwin, I just arrived?"

"Hey Juvina, how was the trip here?" Balwin said as Juvina pulled out her Boar shotgun ready to kill some enemies as she saw some coming at her as she said, "Nothing much, took out most of the airborne enemies, a good chunk of the enemy ground forces, any news on Tavo?"

"According to Ordis, he just about to arrive, and if he's right then he's using his Volt Prime." Balwin said as Juvina soon saw a light show in the distant, which got closer and closer showing it was lighting that was sparking as she said, "I see him now, and he doing his thing again."

"Coming in fast," Balwin started saying as Juvina finishing that sentence, as it seem they both knew it well when she said, "And killing the enemy faster, as usual."

(Volt Prime)

As the world seem to be moving in slow motion, as the Volt Prime Warframe came running in, while summoning forth a light barrier with his hand stopping arrows and fireballs coming at him before pulling off his Bo Prime melee staff and strike at some of the enemy as he was quickly being surrounded as Umbra Excalibur joined him as Balwin said, "Good you see you have made it Tavo. What took you?"

"Oh, you know me, I just want to make an entry and boy I made one, but I don't think our new friend don't like it that much," Tavo said as he and Balwin stood back-to-back to the surrounding enemies as Balwin pulls out his Kuuva Bramma and said to him, "Then let show them they came to the wrong planet."

"Let's send these bastards to the Void!" Tavo said as he pulled out his Braton Prime. The pair then opened fire with Balwin using the explosive arrow of the Kuva Bramma creating a blast of destructive force. Tavo followed up with a current of electricity from his hand before firing his rifle out. The soldiers were using shields much to their surprised and like the rest of their weapon it was primitive to high hell.

Balwin then charged in drawing his Katana and slicing through his foes as he passed by them. Spinning around one he took his foes knife and threw it at another knight before charging at another of the monsters and cleaving it in two. As Balwin kneeled with the surrounding foes dealt with a few of them roared as they tried to surprise him from behind. Balwin then drew his Exalted Blade and stabbed the enemy behind him and then used the Skaijiti to take out the other surprise attackers.

A few of the men saw their allies being slaughtered by these three warriors who moved in ways they never seen before. So, they tried to run away only to find themselves being pulled back in. "Where are you going!?" Juvina asked as she pulled her foes in to continue the battle. As this happened Tavo was electrocuting the soldiers and monsters. Juvina had the enemy invaders hovering in the air before moving her hands and crushing their bones with her magnetism killing them instantly.

Several of the dragons were still alive as they roared and began their approach. Juvina pulled a few more soldiers her way and then proceeded to slice through them with her Dharak Prime sword. Balwin saw the dragons approaching and in turn he drew his Kuva Bramma which was followed up by him firing off arrows one for each dragon. The arrows hit and exploded in the Dragons mouths raining down dragon guts and gore on the ground.

"Encircle the area don't let any of these guys escape!" Balwin ordered as they began the hunt. "The Lotus want's the leaders brought in alive." Balwin said and in turn he looked towards the Gate. "I'll check out the Void Gate." Balwin said and thus the team nodded.

"Right!" Tavo and Juvina said and thus they began to gather up any of the survivors for questioning.

Balwin approached the Void Gate as he had his Codex Scanner active. Already the new data samples were added to the Codex. Still, this was not like any Void Gate he had ever seen Orokin or otherwise. "Lotus, are you seeing this?" Balwin asked as he observed the gate.

"Yes, Tenno." Lotus responded as she saw the images. "This structure doesn't match up to any known Void Gate in my data base." The Lotus said as it was clear something more was at work here.

"Could it be the Indifference?" Balwin asked as he looked to the Lotus.

"Unsure we'll need more data to work with." The Lotus said as she began compiling said data. "Fine out what you can and then return to base." The Lotus said as there was a lot of work to do.

"Understood." Balwin responded and thus ended the call. Balwin looked around the structure before he heard a familiar sound.

"Rap, tap; tap." A voice echoed in Balwin's ears.

"I should have figured you were behind this." Balwin said glaring at the source and saw a being who looked exactly like him save for the empty eyes.

"Think what you want kiddo but I'm innocent on this one." The Man in the Wall said as he grinned at Balwin.

"Yeah, like I'd buy that." Balwin countered showing he didn't believe a single thing the Man in the Wall said.

"It's true this came from the other side." The Man in the Wall defended as he grinned down from his spot atop a busted-up structure. "Besides, you know me Kiddo I never once lied to you." The Man in the Wall added as Balwin had to admit he had a point.

"No but you do omit things and claim I never asked." Balwin countered as he looked back to the Gate. "So fit his didn't come from you then." Balwin began only to find the Indifference was gone. "Typical." Balwin said annoyed that the man in the Wall vanished again. As Balwin glared at the gate in front of him he knew something big was going on and if the Man in the Wall wasn't responsible then who was? Regardless Balwin knew there had to be something at work here and he planned to investigate.

Just then the man who lead this army through the gate began his approach from behind Balwin holding a sword in hand hoping to get the jump on him. With Balwin's guard down and his focus elsewhere he can at least avenge his men with this one's defeat. Once he was close enough the Knight let out a war cry only to find himself quickly disarmed and Balwin's sword pointed at his chest. The man fell back in fright and fear as he looked up at Balwin.

"Too easy." Balwin said and thus reached out with his right hand. When he did Balwin activated his Parazon's capture mode. The man let out a scream of terror as he saw his body break down into particles being captured by Balwin.

Needless to say, a lot of shit had been going down these past few days. The Tenno now had an issue in the form of this Gate. From what they found out the gate lead to uncharted regions. Initial investigations yielded results that were confusing and made no sense. As initially state the people on the other side were primitive but the Tenno had not gotten much in terms of their investigation of the region. The island people were more than willing to assist and to start off the Tenno had begun constructing an encampment around the Gate.

They had work to make ample sure that the village and its people's daily lives was not disturbed. Destroying the Void Gate was out of the question. It could appear anywhere else on Earth or even the Origin System. If it fell into Grineer or Corpus hands it would be bad, if it fell into Narmer's hands they can have the power to get themselves back to a threat from when Ballus was alive.

After the incident Balwin, Juvina, and Tavo had retreated over to Kahl's camp and were currently sitting around a fire having a meal. Kahl had recently brought in more Grineer refugees and deserters and as always worked with Steel Meridian to get them to safety. Right now, his camp was working on making sure these troops were ready to head back to their kind.

"Well, this is a surprise." Juvina said as she was dressed in her Nightwave Nora Night outfit. Her hair was a chocolate brown color mixed with some strands of ivory that was all pulled into a tail. She had a small pink blush of makeup and red lips showing that she was wearing makeup. Over her eyes were a pair of glasses that she mainly needed when in Operator form. She had a specialized mask that she uses for her hood so she can better see when in battle. "A Gate that isn't from the Void and is connecting two worlds together." Juvina said having had time to read the reports prior to this meeting. It was also seen that her Somatic Links reached up from bellow towards her lips.

Next to her was Tavo a slightly larger Tenno who's ebony hair was in the form of a mohawk. He was dressed in his Harrier Operator Suit with the hood open showing his darker skin tone and his emerald-green eyes. He nodded in agreement with Juvina before he began to speak.

"Yeah, I mean a fantasy world it's like those old stories of Duviri." Tavo said as his somatic links covered the area around his right eye opting him to put a metal guard over it. Balwin cleared his throat reminding Tavo of the Duviri Paradox. "I mean you know minus an a-temporal version of you who was in cycle of constantly being executed." Tavo said as Balwin nodded to this. "Still the bastards on the other side made a big mistake hitting us like that." Tavos said before punching his fist into his open palm. "So, it's only fair we do the neighborly thing and hit them bac harder." Tavo said with a grin on his face.

"We shouldn't just charge in like that Tavo." Juvina calmly said as she ate her food with her chopsticks in hand. "We don't know what to expect beyond the Gate and for all we know this could be a one-off thing from one of the major or minor factions from their side." Juvina said feeling it was only wise to gain more information before recklessly charging in.

"More than that we also need to consider the problems from our side of the Gate." Balwin said as he ate his food. "Grineer, Corpus, and the Infested." Balwin said listing off the main issues from their world. "And don't even get me started on Narmer." Balwin added as they were just thankful the Murmur and the Thrax remain deep in Deimos and on the Zariman, respectively.

"There is a lot of issues we need to consider before we blindly charge in." Juvina said reminding Tevo that there are things that needed to be considered here. "Particularly the Lotus and our enemies here." Juvina said which got Tevo to grow quiet.

"Ok you made your point." Tevo said conceding defeat to Juvina for the time being. "But honestly speaking this whole mess feels like something from that book on the Kingdom of Duviri… the book not the paradox." Tevo said making it clear he was talking about the old book of Duviri that Balwin once owned.

"Better not be, one drifter is enough." Juvina said as she knew how the Drifter can act when roaming the Origin System with the Tenno. "One Drifter is more than I can handle." Juvina added which was true as she wasn't sure that reality can handle any more living paradoxes.

"Hey, the Drifter isn't that bad." Tevo said coming to the Drifter's defense. "I mean he's the reason we got the Lotus back and beat Balas." Tevo said which Juvina had to admit that Tevo made a good point.

"I know but I'm more concerned on how a Time Paradox would affect the already fragile state of our own reality." Juvina said reminding Tevo that with all this Void issues and the Man in the Wall this Gate was the latest issue they were facing.

"Speaking of the Gate." Tevo said as he opted to change the subject. "The Lotus said she can't come with us to the other side but doesn't plan to leave us without some form of backup through the Gate." Tevo said showing he was wondering how Lotus was going to do that.

"She is already putting a plan for that in motion." Balwin said cutting to the point with that. But by the way he spoke it was clear that her plan was a plan that he did not like. Juvina saw this as did Tavo and both knew that whatever the Lotus plan was, it may be something they won't like either. But the only person who can come close to doing the Lotus job was… oh hell no.

"This whole Gate situation is not looking as fun as I thought it would be." Tavo said as he knew who the Lotus was going for help. "I mean come on, him!?" Tavo asked as he did not enjoy the thought of asking that thing for help.

"I mean he's helped us before yes." Juvina began trying to find the logic in this plan. "But the circumstances were different then." Juvina went on knowing the issue with asking aid from this being. "He's no Alad-V but how can we be sure he won't betray us the first chance he gets?" Juvina asked with her concern of the situation clear here.

"We don't and that alone is worrying enough." Balwin said showing that yes, this plan had a lot of issues.

"We don't and that alone is worrying enough." Balwin said showing that yes, this plan had a lot of issues. "But ever since Jade ever since he sent me those blueprints for Jade, I don't know something has been different about him." Balwin said voicing some of the changers he noted from this particular being.

But one thing was clear amongst the Tenno. Not many of them trust the Sentient Destroyer of Worlds nor agree with asking him for help.

(Scene Break Uranus the Lotus)

The Lotus sighed to herself as she mused over what had been happening since the Gate appeared and the attack that followed. Much of the land beyond was a mystery to the Tenno and as much as she wished to go, she can't do communications between two worlds. This entire Gate situation was proving to be a bother and the Tenno all knew this. With no way to close the gate this meant the incident from before can happen again, so the Tenno had to remain on standby to defend the location. There only option to secure the village was to go through the Gate and find the ring leaders behind this incident.

But she had to remain in the Origin System and could not just leave on a whim. She could not trust anyone else to fill her role indefinitely like Ordis did. Going down the list she was running out of options Varzia was organizing the defenses for the village around the Gate after the Lotus had sent a request out for her aid. There was only one option left and as much as the Lotus hated to do this, she had no choice.

Arriving on Uranus in the Stalkers former lair the Lotus stepped out of the Orbiter with a small guard detail of Tenno. It seems every time she was in a situation the Tenno had to come to HIM for help. "Stay close." The Lotus said and thus she began to make her way through the tomb. Entering the deepest part, the Lotus made her way to the end chamber of this place. Ever since the incident with Jade the Stalker has not returned to the base and his attacks on the Tenno have deceased by a large margin.

But this only made HIM even more of a threat if he felt cornered. How is it? How is it that Hunhow still made the Lotus nervous to see him. So, entering the final room the Lotus and her guard detail were met with the sight of the Sentient Destroyer of Worlds, Hunhow.

"Natah... this is certainly a surprise." Hunhow spoke as he glared down on his traitor child. "So, what do I owe the pleasure of this visit?" He asked getting straight to the point with his own estranged child.

"I wish I could say that I had come to have a heart-to-heart talk with you, father, but something unexpectedly happen that compels me to come to your prison," The Lotus said as Hunhow asked, "How so?"

"An unknown void gate had opened, leading to a land foreign to the system itself, as it has humans there, but as well many dangerous creatures, and beasts that the humans were ride upon," The Lotus explain as Hunhow listen carefully as this was strange to him as well to say as he said, "Curious as it is, but why have you come to me? Why did you come to me to tell this?"

"Because I have come with an offer, your freedom," The lotus said as this did surprise Hunhow as the Lotus went on saying, "I will have you release from this place, but in exchange, I want you to help the Tenno on the other side of the gate, watch over them and guild them when necessary."

Everything was silent after that as The Lotus waited for a respond from Hunhow about her offer as he soon said, "You want me to become a guardian for your Tenno, on the other side of this void gate you say?"

"Yes, I'm giving you a chance to roam freely, a chance to escape this prison of yours," The Lotus said as Hunhow said, "A prison you have put me in, where I had stay for ages, unable to see the outside, and only been told through my sentries what has been happening out there with many of our kind has been slaughtered, the golden lord of lies that had taken with the help of Erra before he killed in the final battle against ballas, and you expect me to help you?… I refuse."

"Why must you be this stubborn!" The lotus suddenly yelled out at her father as she look to him and said, "The Tenno are not at fault for our hatred, they are but a victim of it, force into battle by the Orokin using technology that was meant to help them only to be weaponized by the Orokin. It as Ballas that force them to fight us, ballas who vandalize my mind, my heart, my entire being of who I was, who I become, and who I am now."

Hunhow listen to Lotus carefully, as he can feel her feeling through her voice, how angry she was of what Ballas did to her, what they have done to the Tenno, the same anger that he and many sentient felt towards the Orokin and the Tenno, as then he saw his daughter Natah next to The Lotus when she said all those thing "They were a slave as much as the sentient were, force to follow their orders, unable to fight back against them… then after the first war had ended, their shackles became broken and they took their vengeance upon those who had hurt them, the same reason that we were fighting in the first place as we were once shackled by the Orokin as well before we broke ours."

The lotus calm down as she put her hand to her heart before the image of Margulis came forth looking sadden but carry much hope with within her, as the Sentient felt that the Lotus soon went on saying, "The Tenno aren't the monsters we made them out to be, they were innocent children who were hurt, tortured, and experimented on so much that the scars they hold never faded from that time, as they became broken when their first mother had died, taken by Ballas, a woman that he claim he loved had put her to death."

Hunhow was starting to understand, as the images of both Natah and Margulis vanish leaving just the Lotus by herself as she went on saying, "The Tenno didn't have any hope left, they would have been slaves the to the Orokin forever if I haven't freed them, they didn't deserve such a fate, they deserved better, so I took it upon myself to become the hope that the Tenno had once lose, I became their mother, and they became my children, we may not have been connected by blood or species, but I love them as much as if they were my own, children that I could never have myself."

The lotus rub at her own belly, showing she wish to have carried a child herself, but because of the void, because of the battles, she became infertile as Hunhow understood this, as when he saw his children come into the world, he was grateful, he was happy once before it was replace by hatred and grief as the Lotus said, "The Tenno who had come to saved me had told me that he had tried to saved Erra from his fate, but he refuse because he told them to save me instead, I don't want this sacrifice to be in vain, I took up the mantel of The Lotus once more, becoming the mother of the Tenno needed, to help restore the Origin system once more, and now I have to save the only family I have left, the one I wish that they would get rid of their hatred and anger towards the Tenno, as it wasn't their fault, as yes they have killed many of us… but they were just a tool like we once were."

Hunhow didn't know what to make of this, as to what Lotus said was true, they were just tool of the Orokin once before they freed themselves, turn Tau system into their home system instead and attack the Orokin before they could reach there… in a way they had accomplish their goals, they war was over, and yet he could not let go of his hatred. Why? Because the Tenno just reminded him of what was lost, what he had lost to this thought, maybe it was time that he let go of his hatred for good as he said, "Very well then, I'll help you my daughter, I will become your eyes in this other world, and lead the Tenno on your behalf."

"Very well." The Lotus said and then made the call. "Break it open." The Lotus ordered and soon the entire cave shook from an explosion surprising Hunhow. Looking through his prison Hunhow saw cracks forming outside it.

"Father... I hope you understand that we will need to put into place certain counter measures." Lotus said as he looked to her father. "I mean no disrespect but scars from the Old War still remain as well as some recent scars." Lotus said as Hunhow was reminded of how he got trapped down here to begin with.

"I would expect nothing less." Hunhow said and thus the Lotus nodded and began to leave. But as she left the Lotus stopped at the entry way as Hunhow was being dug out of his prison.

"Father I also had a report of Stalker breaking into Balwin's Orbiter seeking his aid." Lotus said as she kept a neutral tone. "Did you have any part in such unusual behavior?" Lotus asked and thus Hunhow figured he might as well.

"I simply told him to swallow his pride and ask. Your Tenno handled the rest." Hunhow said as he knew how Stalker and Umbra joined forces to get the infant out of this place after Jade had passed on.

The Lotus nodded before she began speaking again. "Very well... just so you know we will need to transfer you into a smaller form precautions mainly but also." She began but Hunhow cut her off.

"It is also the practical path." Hunhow said as he glared at his daughter. As Lotus left Hunhow still had one last thing to say to Hunhow. "I know we have had our differences but... I'm certain that if she were here now... she'd be proud of the woman you became." Hunhow said as the Lotus stopped for a moment before sighing and taking her leave.

(Scene Break 3 Months Later)

The Tenno and several of their allies were gathered around a new vehicle that was rumbling to life. As they all gathered it wasn't just the those from the Tenno faction that were there, but allies from several groups as well. IT seemed to be a combination of several sources from allies across the Origin System.

Balwin, Juvina, and Tavo approached the vehicle as the final load up was being taken care of. "Tenno this is the Mobias your new land-based command outpost." Lotus began as the Tenno climbed aboard. "It is a state-of-the-art vehicle using state of the art technology from all major factions of the Origin System." Lotus said as the Tenno began the grand tour. "IT shall serve you well on this mission." Lotus said as she knew that whoever or whatever was on the other side of this gate needed to answer for their attack three months prior. "Much of the systems you are used to using have been modified or changed factoring this Mobias Unit hence why three months have been set to prepare you all." Lotus said as she spoke via the communication link to the Tenno.

Inside the truck was about two levels of rooms with a hatch to the roof. The bottom level had the loading bay which held several weapons and to the Tenno's surprise smaller vehicles. Motorbikes and from the looks of there was at least one Corpus troop transport, several bikes for the Tenno, and a large recon vehicle for the Tenno. Behind that was what appeared to be the med bay. The second level was operations where the command deck was located at the very front.

Behind the Operations room just past the lift to the lower level was the Tenno's barracks. It was where they kept the Tenno's main gear and the core with their special guest inside. The room was split between the three Tenno as they were each connected to a Helminth. Beyond that their foundries, mod stations, incubators and Sentient ports were there as well as an Arsenal port.

The final room was Hunhow's. After his agreement with his daughter the Sentient Destroyer of Worlds was relegated to the Tenno Coordinator. Mainly so the Lotus would not have to fear for her children and hopefully this could help rehabilitate Hunhow and start walking the path towards peace. With his new spot on the ship Hunhow could now see all over and had limited access to the Tenno's weave. He knew his daughter had put counter measures in place against him. He could not blame her for her caution and actually respected her for it.

Around the vehicles exterior was weapons from heavy weaponry to as well as thick bits of armor that can tank just about anything. It was also equipped with a cloaking function. The Corpus would mostly remain on the Truck handling the tech onboard, meanwhile the Grineer who allied with the Tenno would act as ground troops for this mission. Behind the Mobias were smaller Corpus grade ground vehicles with supplies and such.

"Tenno what lays beyond this gate... I cannot provide any assistance." Lotus began via the communications link. "I am sorry, that I cannot accompany you three, but someone must remain to oversee operations in this system." Lotus said giving her reasons to why. "But I have watched each of you grow and now you must leave the nest." Lotus said as she was proud of her Tenno of all of her Tenno. "I know this is not ideal but relying on Hunhow who has past experience from Tau will be useful in this endeavor." Lotus said as the vehicles all stood in front of the Gate. A large structure was built around it to keep anything beyond the Gate from breaking through again.

Several scouting parties had been sent through and by the looks of it the gate was safe for travel. In fact, it was hardly right to call it a Void Gate. With this information the Tenno had a means to enter safely with their... ally. "All systems are active... Mobias is active." Hunhow said as he saw all that happened.

In turn Balwin who stood at the command post saw this. "Alright then Mobias forward." Balwin said and in turn the Mobias started its advance through the Gate. The heavy tires grinded the ground as the doors opened to allow entry into the Gate. Once they were in the dark tunnel the vehicles lights all flashed to life as it guided the group through the Tunnel. Balwin saw this as the next great adventure a brand-new frontier for them all. And perhaps this will open a path to finally defeating the Man in the Wall.

Meanwhile the Man in the Wall grinned as he saw what was happening from beyond the edges of reality. He knew one thing was fact about this, things were about to get interesting. He did admit the truth he had nothing to do with this Gate, but Balwin made a mistake he never asked if the Man in The Wall knew who was responsible for it. This was going to be a whole new level of fun for the Indifference.

(Later The Gates other side)

Soon enough the Mobias exited from the tunnel they found themselves atop a large hill which had many hills around the Gate. But what they found on the other end was not just hills. It was a large army that was marching towards their position. "Enemy contact!" Juvina called out as she saw the enemy forces surrounding their position. IT was varying monsters and dragons like in the story books the same ones that had come through the gate before.

"Enemy contact? You're kidding right?" Tavo asked with a cocky tone in his voice. "Nah all that is just target practice." Tavo said as he saw the gathering foes around their position.

"Well then seeing as they gave us this welcome committee it's only fair, we repay them in kind." Balwin said but then Hunhow cut in.

"Tenno, wait." Hunhow spoke via the communications link. "Instead of recklessly charging in with your Void Fury I have a much more appropriate plan." Hunhow said reminding that while here he was the Tenno Coordinator. "It would be a waste for you to deal with these foes." Hunhow added and thus Tavo and Juvina both looked to each other and then to Balwin.

"Alright... what do you have in mind?" Balwin asked his voice strained showing that he was willing to hear Hunhow out.
