Theory#1: S-FIT did not explode.

In Fleeting Memories, Part 5, it is stated that there are no survivors. However, on the wiki fandom, it is stated that Asimov was experimented on at S-FIT when he was a boy. Therefore, this means Asimov is a survivor and the building may not have been destroyed. In the Nova's Memories audio drama, it was stated by a scientist that they lost "good scientists and priceless research" that day. But in ASG3, Kirin read an excerpt from the file which stated "In the near future, Adepts will wipe out humanity". So, Sumeragi may not have done as good a job covering everything up as they thought.

Theory#2: Asimov's escape is why Sumeragi took down their website.

It is mentioned that Sumeragi had a website that was taken down due to unknown reasons. It can be theorized that the website was shut down to prevent Asimov's escape from being made public. As Sumeragi has been known to cover up any "accidents".

Theory#3: Asimov made QUILL for revenge.

Asimov was powerless while being experimented on at S-FIT. After fleeing and creating QUILL, he was in charge of the entire company. This gave him a sense of power and control, something he lacked in his life when he was a child. He practically pitted QUILL specifically against Sumeragi. The original Azure Striker may have been hoping to get revenge on his tormentor.

Theory#4: Copen believes his father is dead.

If S-FIT truly did not explode, then Dr. Kamizono would certainly still be alive. With Copen believing his father was dead, Copen swore vengance on every Adept. This is most likely the case since he doesn't know who exactly did it. Even upon meeting the culprit at Firmament, Copen was still clueless. With no evidence as to who did this, all Copen feels he can do is kill them all. So if there's no one alive, the person who did it will no longer be breathing.

Theory#5: Asimov eliminated Gunvolt and Joule wrong.

If Asimov were to have been thinking logically, he would've disposed of Gunvolt and Joule's bodies. In this way, Sumeragi could not study their bodies and attempt to recontinue Project Gunvolt or Project Muse. While the Septimas cannot be reobtained after a short period of time has passed, the bodies can be studied.

Location: Gunvolt & Joule's Elimination: Chapter 5

Theory#6: Demerzel is an AI.

Asimov's escape devastated Sumeragi since he was the only known successful test subject in Project Gunvolt at the time. With Sumeragi's connections, they may have gotten ahold of his body. Using said corpse, they could have taken Asimov's memories, personality and Azure Striker to place them in an AI construct. This is possible when thinking about the Butterfly Effect.

Theory#7: Nova gained extra arms after he fused.

After Nova fused with Joule, his second form gained six arms. This can be taken from the fact he fused with Joule who's alter ego was Lumen which Nova tried to control for her power.

Theory#8: Copen and Mytyl were ditched.

Shortly after Mytyl was born, her Muse Septima was deemed too powerful for her infantile body. Upon noticing this, Dr. Kamizono performed an operation on the girl. However, this caused Mytyl's health to decline. She lost the ability to move anything from the waist down. Talking or making vocalizations of any sort were impossible. Feeling guilty, Dr. Kamizono and his wife may have left the sanatorium. Or Copen's parents may not have wanted to deal with the fact that one of their children was an Adept. If this were to be the case, the day S-FIT supposedly exploded would have been the best day to do this. This information would cause Copen to think his mother left to grieve and his father died.

Location: Copen & Mytyl's Abandonment: Chapter 8

Theory#9: Nova didn't die.

Nova may not have died in the events of ASG1. It's known that Nova's Glaive transformation and "death" scene is showed. When a Glaive shatters and falls to the ground, that enemy is dead. However, this scene is completely missing from the fight. This can be interpreted as Nova surviving the battle against Gunvolt. He may have left Sumeragi as well considering the top brass believe him to be dead in ASG2.

Location: Nova's Glaives: Chapter 9

Theory#10: Apollo may be someone else.

Apollo could possibly be Dr. Kamizono. This can be seen on Apollo's sprite in the image pulse menus. Apollo's sprite has red eyes instead of purple. While both the sprite and illustration have white hair. Apollo's purple eyes may be to represent Asimov's purple eyes, since he was experimented on at S-FIT. Apollo's glasses could represent Asimov's visor as well. The pendant may be a poke fun of the ASG3 joke ending. Where Mytyl can be seen wearing a pendant of Lola. Enchanted bells were handed down in Copen's family for generations, which he gave to Lola. The pendant Apollo wears could be to demonstrate the shaky relationship he had with Mytyl who was the original Muse Adept. Apollo is also said to have had a past as a hitman. This makes sense, considering Dr. Kamizono had the original Border revolver to eliminate Adepts specifically. He may have been forced to return to Sumeragi under the guise of Apollo if Sumeragi found out he was still alive.

Theory#11: Dr. Kamizono may be an Adept.

Dr. Kamizono may have posed as a human to work for Sumeragi rather than suffer the experimentation himself. If the previous theory is true, then Sumeragi would not have treated him well. Him having a Septima may explain why he knows about them so well. It could also explain why Mytyl was born an Adept if one was her parent, increasing the chance for her to be born with a Septima. His hate for Adepts may not be a hatred but sorrow for knowing what they go through and the guilt of making them suffer.

Location: The Researching Adept: Chapter 11

Theory#12: The Mother Computer may be Copen's mother.

There is no official design for Copen's mother, she is only acknowledged in an ASG2 conversation between Copen and Mytyl. The Mother Computer had purple eyes similar to Apollo's design, possibly hinting at a connection between the two. She also was determined to have white hair rather than green in the scrapped design on the ASG fandom. Her hair is similar to Mytyl's in appearance as well. One theory claimed that Shinobu Kamizono was Copen and Mytyl's mother. However, this cannot be true because Dr. Kamizono's eye color is stated to be red in Fleeting Memories and Shinobu's eyes are blue. Mytyl's eyes are orange, so the possibility is nonexistent.

Theory#13: Joule may have been experimented on by Dr. Kamizono.

Joule gained the entirety of the Muse Septima while working for Sumeragi. However, Dr. Kamizono is the only known employee to have access to Mytyl. He may have implanted the Septima into Joule after removing it from Mytyl. In ASG1, Joule asks Gunvolt if he's a scientist during the Anthem mission dialogue. The machine made for Joule as Adept sonar was also made by Dr. Kamizono as well. This was confirmed by Nova during the conversation between him and Gunvolt that takes place before the fight. He may have been assigned to Joule specifically because of his knowledge regarding the Muse Septima.

Location: Joule, The Mytyl Remake: Chapter 13

Theory#14: Gunvolt's escape was known, but Asimov's wasn't.

Sumeragi covered up all known traces of the S-FIT incident, even to its employees. The only people in Sumeragi that know of the event are the delegates and the people at S-FIT during that time. Nobody knew that Asimov was Takefutsu when he broke in to rescue GV.

Location: The Escape Artists: Chapter 14

Theory#15: Dr. Kamizono faked his own death.

Dr. Kamizono may have falsely reported the explosion to fake his death for reasons unknown. To make it seem true, he gave Copen his gun and researach as inheritance. This also ensured that the data didn't seem to survive so nobody would know the truth.

Location: Death Faking: Chapter 15

Theory#16: ATEMS equals control over atoms.

Zed is known as the leader of the antagonist group ATEMS in ASG3. His Septima, Golden Trillions, is known to have some dominion over entire atoms. The name of his team may be a reference to his power over both the Adepts he leads and his capability to weild atoms. While Gunvolt can only manipulate electrons rather than whole atoms.

Location: ATEMS Versus Atoms: Chapter 16

Theory#17: Joule is a clone of Mytyl.

Joule has red eyes similar in color to Copen's. If Mytyl's DNA was used to create Joule, it could explain why her eyes are red. It would also answer why Joule was able to retain the Muse Septima even though she wasn't born yet. In Fleeting Memories, Dr. Kamizono is said to have platinum blond hair, while there is no mention of Copen's mother's hair color. In ASG2, Mytyl and Joule fused. This may be because they shared similar genetic structures.

Location: Mytyl's Clone: Chapter 17

Theory#18: Demerzel hid in Dystnine to get close to Copen and learn more about him.

Demerzel's voice when defeated sounds like Demerzel's voice over the speakers. The supposed "Hard Light Septima" may be Demerzel's Azure Striker. The Azure Striker can create solid chains, so the "clones" of the Falcons may come from Demerzel's Septima. The swords Dystnine uses are similar in appearance to ones made of yellow lightning, possibly implying a hidden Demerzel.

Location: Demerzel's Disguise: Chapter 18

Theory#19: Nova knew about S-FIT.

In the first ASG game, Nova references Dr. Kamizono twice. The first time being when Copen is mentioned and the second after Gunvolt sees the machine at Firmament. In the official wiki fandom, it states that S-FIT was not under Nova's jurisdiction. After Gunvolt defeated the Mantis Legion, Nova made a retort that Gunvolt loved destroying their "new toys". In the official wiki, it was stated that the original Mantis and Mantis Legion were developed at S-FIT. Meaning that during Nova's time with Sumeragi, S-FIT was still operating. This could further the possibility that S-FIT never ceased to exist.
