A Few Days Before Everyone Went to Paldea and Kitakami

BGM: Submerged Castle (Pikmin 2)
"Alright…" Myra rolled her neck as Olimar, Louie and the Water Pikmin landed on the ground. "Grab the treasures, avoid that damn Water Wraith… find the exit. I got this."
She went forward, finding any treasure that she could find while avoiding the Waterwraith the best she could
"Oh no, you don't!" Myra said, getting her Pikmin out of there before the Waterwraith could run them over as it turned the opposite way. "Yeah, keep rolling away…"
She quickly found the treasures and carefully sent them back, making them retreat if the Waterwraith attempted to ambush them.
She then found the exit and commanded the Pikmin to attack the wall.
Myra narrowed her eyes, waiting for the Waterwraith to make its move. She pulled out her phone and looked up the treasures in the level just to see if she had missed anything, while also keeping a close eye on the TV.
"Okay… it seems as if I got them all on this level. That's good to know."
"Wah!"
"Huh? OH SHIT!" Myra yelped as the Waterwrath snuck up on her and was flattening Pikmin as she tried to get the hell out of there with the remaining Pikmin she had. "SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHI-"

Myra dropped her controller in horror, anime tears rolling down her cheeks. "Ex-Extinct-... auuuugh…" She pulled her knees up into a fetal position in a depressive state. "I should've paused… it's what I get for playing Animal Crossing without pausing and thinking everything would be okay in Pikmin…"
She let out a sigh, making sure to save the game and then turned the console off, laying on her back with a depressive aura around her body.
"Forgive me, little Pikmin… your adorable bodies were not meant to be flattened by a steamroller…"
She rolled out of bed with a soft sigh and walked out of her room, wandering around the castle in a depressed state as she wandered into a room where she usually felt at peace.
The aquarium.
Myra let out a soft sigh, sitting down and watching the fish swim by. Cheep Cheeps, Wishiwashi, Goldeen, Lumineon, and Chinchou while Shellder, Staryu and Starmie sitting at the bottom amongst other water Pokemon…
It was always relaxing to her. She felt tranquil, though she always wondered why there was a hole in the wall very high. Regardless, she always felt relaxed in here, often practicing magic that would entrance the aquatic life.
She also liked admiring the pirate ship painting that was also in the room. She would often examine it and admire the brushstrokes that went into the painting. In fact, she always found herself staring at the paintings in the castle, though she did question the Lava Bubble painting in the basement.
"You might want to play around with the paintings. It might surprise you." Xena's words echoed in her head.
"Hmm…" Myra walked closer to the painting. "Play around with the painting…? I don't exactly want to ruin it…"
She gently put her hand forward.
"It's not like it'll-"
Her hand went through the painting, where the picture started to ripple as if it was water.
"Huh?" Myra wondered as she pulled away. She blinked, rubbing her eyes to make sure she wasn't seeing things as she reached her hand forward once more.
Her hand went through, her eyes widening in curiosity.
"What sorcery is this…?" She wondered to herself. "...Says the dark mage." She chuckled to herself as she put her whole arm forward… and then she fell through. "WHOOOOOOOA!"
BGM: Jolly Roger Bay/Dire Dire Docks (Super Mario 64)
"Waaah! OOOMPH!" Myra grunted as she pulled herself up, dusting herself off. "Ugh… what in… wait…"
Myra looked around, seeing that she was in a new area entirely. "What on… grandma, I don't think we're in Peach's Castle anymore."
"Are we even IN the Mushroom Kingdom?"
"That's… a good question!"
Myra looked around the area in complete bewilderment before she pulled out her phone and started to call someone.
"Hello?"
"Heeeey Nyx…"
"Oh! Hey Myra, what's up?"
"Oh, I'm just… hanging around, I suppose. Uh… quick question."
"Yeah?"
"SINCE WHEN DO PAINTINGS TAKE YOU TO A NEW AREA?!"
"...Oh! Where are you at right now?"
"I just fell into a painting when I was checking it out in the aquarium!"
"You're in Jolly Roger Bay. Don't worry, we'll come get you."
"Jolly Roger what? You're being really casual about a person who got kidnapped by a painting! I'm literally a missing person right now!"
"Hahahaha!"
"What's so funny?"
"You're absolutely fine… as long as you don't go deep into the water."
"I mean, I'm not much of a strong swimmer, you know that!" Myra sighed. "Well, I guess I'll stick around…"
She hung up and sighed.
"I get kidnapped by a painting and she's all chill about it… what the hell…" She mumbled, picking up a rock and tossing it into the water.
A few minutes later…
Myra sat by the edge of the beach, her feet in the water with a soft hum when she heard a Warp Pipe rising behind her. "Hmm?"
"Yahoo!" Mario jumped out of the Warp Pipe.
"Ah, my hero." Myra smiled. "Now we-"
The Warp Pipe shrunk back down to the ground.
"-...Can stay in here forever." Myra facepalmed. "Mario, your Warp Pipe is running away…"
"I'm not-a worried." Mario said as JINXY, Rantaro, Futaba, RWBY and JNPR landed next to them and even Rosalina landed near them. They were also accompanied by the Ashen Wolves and Peach.
"Whoa! Talk about a rescue squad." Myra said as she turned to look at them. "I don't recognize you gu-... hoooooly." She looked up at Rosalina. "That… is a tall woman." She blinked. I did not know women can get that tall.
At that moment, a ring portal opened up as Luigi walked over with Hoopa accompanying him as Daisy walked out as well. "Sorry I'm late, I had to finish making milkshakes.
"I was wondering when you'd come across the paintings, Myra." Peach giggled.
"I didn't even know they were portals to… who knows where." Myra explained. "I remembered Xena mentioning it but… goodness me, what is all this?"
"Fun surprises~!" Xena giggled.
Myra sweatdropped. "Clearly."
"So! You're that mage I've been hearing about." Daisy said. "Myra, right?"
"And… you're the new Sarasa Empress, right?"
"Oh no no, I'm not an Empress." Daisy said. "While it's true I'm running the place, I don't wanna… disrespect the guy who stepped down to scratch that adventuring itch that he had. I'm not an empress yet. Just a princess."
"I see…" Myra nodded. "And your name is… uh…"
"Daisy."
"Princess Daisy. The most athletic Sarasa Princess I've heard so much about."
Daisy grinned, playfully elbowing Peach. "I was hoping you would have told her about me!"
Myra turned toward RWBY and JNPR. "And… I think I know who you are. Nyx was telling me about you guys." She pointed toward Ruby. "Uh… I take it you're… Blake?"
"Nah, I'm Ruby! That's Blake over there."
"Hey."
"Oh!" Myra blushed as she turned to Weiss. "Weiss… and… Y-Yang was it?"
"That's me!" Yang grinned.
Myra turned toward JNPR. "Uh… the guy in green… Jaune?"
"Hi, I'm Jaune." Jaune raised his hand.
"Oh darkness, I'm terrible…" Myra sighed. "Sorry Ren…"
"It's okay."
Myra glanced over at Nora and Pyrrha. "You.. uh… orange hair… N-Nora…?"
"Bingo~!" Nora grinned. "Put her there~!" She put her hand out.
Myra smiled, reaching her hand toward Nora, but she pulled away and hugged her tightly. "Gah! Woo… hell of a hug there…" She chuckled as Nora released her. "And you're… Pyra."
"Pyrrha." Pyrrha corrected. "Though we do have a friend named Pyra."
"Ah, I see!"
Myra then turned toward Rosalina. "You… I'm sensing an otherworldly presence from you. A… magical being. Who are you?"
Rosalina softly smiled. "I'm Rosalina, an intergalactic cosmic woman who has been around… for a very long time."
"Rosalina…" Myra whispered. Why does that name sound familiar? She wondered. "Wait… cosmos? As in… stars, planets, space… that cosmos?"
"Indeed."
"Whoa…"
Ruby smiled. "She's also Yang and I's step-mother."
"Oh, coo- STEP-MOTHER?!" Myra yelled in surprise. "Oh… I… I think I need to sit down…"
Nyx was immediately by her side along with Xena. "Easy…" Nyx said.
"A cosmic space queen is your step-mother…" Myra said, her eyes wide. "Oh… ooooh my…" She took a deep breath and exhaled. "You two… got a hell of a deal of a lifetime. I would not want to mess with her."
Ruby giggled. "She's the best~ She even gives the best hugs!"
"I've had my fair share of hugs, so I think I know what to expect. I don't think anyone can replace Queen Lemon-"
Rosalina hugged her.
"...Ooooooh, is this what touching a cloud feels like~? So cosmically soft~" Myra sighed deeply, returning the hug. Sorry, Lemony… but I think you've been out-hugged…
Rosalina pulled away. "What do you think?" She softly giggled.
"Like I was in eternal bliss… woo, that was wonderful."
"Yeah, if you're ever feeling down and mom is nearby, she can always perk you back up." Yang said as Rosalina instinctively went to Pyrrha and hugged her.
"Mmmm… thank you…" Pyrrha softly said as she pulled away after a few blissful moments.
"Sooo, you're probably wondering what the heck is going on." Futaba said.
"Yeeeah, I still need an explanation on how I was pulled into a painting."
"It's quite simple. These paintings were once ordinary paintings until Bowser decided to mix things up and decided to trap some of us into paintings." Peach explained. "Me, the Mario Bros, RWBY, JNPR and the Blood Gulch Crew were all trapped into paintings. He used the Power Stars to do so."
"The Power Stars did all this?"
"Well, more like having a helping hand, yes." Peach nodded. "Luckily, Yoshi, CFVY, Daisy and a few others came to save the day… in fact, Daisy was the one who defeated Bowser."
"Hehehe…" Daisy folded her arms proudly.
"The big burly Koopa lost… to a skinny athlete?"
"Hey! I may not show it, but these muscles aren't just for show."
"She even slapped Bowser across the Mushroom Kingdom when we invited her to a party one time." Luigi added.
Myra blinked, shifting her eyes toward Daisy warily. What the hell does this woman EAT?
"I remember hearing about that. That was so hilarious." Nyx giggled.
"Sooo… okay… so the Power Stars plus Bowser and his Magikoopa pal managed to make portals in some of these paintings. Did I get that right?" Myra asked.
"Yup." Constance nodded.
"...Soooo, does that mean the Lava Bubble painting in the basement-"
"Eeeyup." Hapi nodded.
"Oh my…"
"And some of them are not even actual paintings!" Baltus added.
"We'll get to that when we get there." Yuri said. "So, Myra… do you want to explore the paintings?"
Myra smiled with a glimmer in her eyes. "Oh you bet I do! Let's do some sight seeing!" She smiled. "...By the way, why shouldn't I delve deep into the lake anyway?"
"A giant Maw-Ray lives deep in the lake." Nyx said.
Myra paled. "Yeah… that'll do it."

With a chuckle, she then smiled again. "Let's see what these paintings have to offer."
BGM: Throwback Galaxy (Super Mario Galaxy 2)
First stop: Bob-omb Battlefield
"Whoa…" Myra said as she stepped right into a battlefield, though the Bob-omb Buddies were casually playing cards or lounging around.
"Welcome to Bob-omb Battlefield." Nyx said. "Though, it's pretty peaceful nowadays."
"...Any reason why Xena was apprehensive and didn't want to come in?"
"There's a really good reason for it. She hates this place."
"Why, it's not like-... oh my gosh, it is this place, isn't it?"
"Mhm."
"Oh, yeah, I don't blame her." She shook her head as she walked around with Nyx, Iris and JNPR with her.
They would see a giant Chain Chomp sleeping up top as cannonballs rolled down the hills where nearby, some Goombas wandered around near some Bob-ombs that were taking a nap.
"Wow, this place is crazy…" She said.
"It used to be crazier." Iris said.
"I can see why."
They wandered around the mountain with Myra looked around in awe, spotting a floating island nearby with a raised eyebrow while Nora and her Tinkaton hammered away the cannonballs or Pyrrha used her semblance to push them back.
"Oh, is this it?" Myra wondered as they got to the peak of the mountain.
"Pretty much." Nyx nodded. "It's definitely a nice view though."
"I'll say!" Myra nodded as she sat down. "It's so pretty."
She then pulled out a Power Star that Peach had given her. "So, this pretty much takes me back to the castle if I decide to visit one of these areas?"
"Yeah." Nyx nodded.
"Alright… let's try it out then." Myra raised her arm as the Power Star glowed brightly as they were all taken back to the castle.
Next stop: Whomp's Fortress
Myra landed on the ground as she was accompanied by Rosalina, Ruby and Daisy. Myra took a few steps forward where a few small Star Bit comets landed on the ground in front of her feet. "Wah!" She yelped in surprise.
"Oh, don't worry. Getting hit by Star Bits doesn't hurt." Ruby said as she picked one up. "They're also honey candy."
"Honey… candy?" Myra wondered as Ruby popped one into her mouth. She gave one to Myra as she curiously examined in and took a small nibble. "...Oh my. It's so sweet~!"
"Rosie, you look perplexed." Daisy said.
Rosalina looked around. "I do not understand how a painting is a quick portal to this galaxy."
"Yeah, honestly… I don't really think much of it. Saves a headache." Daisy said as she wandered off with Myra and Ruby.
"Yeah… you're probably right." Rosalina nodded, telekinetically picking up Star Bits and popping one in her mouth.
Myra wandered around the water, chuckling to herself before walking up the ramp and seeing Thwomps slamming down onto the steps. She turned around and walked past a sleeping Piranha Plant and walked across the bridge… that crumbled underneath her.
"Whoa…!" Myra yelped as Rosalina caught her and brought her back while Ruby quickly made a plant bridge for them to safely cross. "Phew, thanks."
"You're welcome." Rosalina said as Ruby finished making the plant bridge.
"There we go."
"Soooo, how does it feel making vines come out of your arm?" Myra wondered.
"A little bit of discomfort at first but you get used to it. Thankfully nothing painful." Ruby smiled.
"I see." Myra nodded. "I… do not envy your plant arm."
"I don't wish it on anyone."
Myra gently patted Ruby's back. "You're a good one." She said as she walked across the bridge, causing Ruby to softly smile as they continued to go around until they reached the top of the tower as more Star Bits rained down on them.
"Seen enough?" Daisy asked.
"Yeah." Myra pulled out the Power Star. "Let's head out."

Next stop: Cool Cool Mountain
BGM: Cool Cool Mountain (Super Mario 64)
"Whoa… whoa… WHOOOOOOA!" Myra cried as she had slipped and started sliding down the mountain, all the while Weiss decided to ice skate down the slope.
"Having fun?" Weiss asked.
"Kinda…!"
As they were sliding/skating down the mountain, they both went through the sharp corner as Myra found herself sliding backwards while Weiss jumped, skated around it and proceeded to launch herself off and skated past Myra before stopping by the snowman as Myra came to a gentle stop sliding on her back.
Weiss chuckled, helping Myra up. "The slope is a bit tricky at first."
"I've noticed." Myra laughed as she was pulled up, then they walked across the bridge while getting past some jumping Mr. Blizzards before reaching the bottom of the mountain, where Myra waved at a few penguins.
At that moment, the cabin door opened up as Mario walked out, wiping some snow off of his hat. "Mama mia…"
"What happened to you?" Weiss asked.
"A penguin got a bit too competitive in that race…"
"Aww, cute!" Myra giggled.
"Yeah, they're cute now until they have that competitive look in their eyes." Mario shuddered a bit.
Myra rolled her eyes with a smile. "Riiiight…" She said as she pulled out the Power Star.

BGM: Dark Hallways (Luigi's Mansion)
Next stop: Big Boo's Haunt
Myra landed on the ground, accompanied by Luigi and Jade. "I was not even aware of a cage in the courtyard. What the heck?"
"Yeah, Peach had that hidden pretty well." Luigi said.
"Apparently so!" Myra nodded as they walked into the haunted house with Jade and Luigi pulling out their Poltergusts as they walked in, where they saw it was infested by Boos already as the two of them proceeded to suck them in while Myra nonchalantly walked around the haunted house.
She walked into a room, seeing a recently replaced grand piano in the middle of the room. She walked over toward it and curiously played a few keys… and then the Grand Piano came to life and started chomping at her.
"Whoa!" She exclaimed as the piano chased after her, until it got destroyed when Myra unleashed magic at the piano. "Sheesh, everyone's a critic…" She mumbled as she walked off to explore the rest of the house.
She even decided to check the basement where she opened up a door and saw Jade sucking up a few boos on the merry go round. "Huh… a merry go round in a haunted house. Cute." She said and went off to continue exploring until she explored every nook and cranny of the house right around the same time as Jade and Luigi finished clearing the area.
"Alright, I had my fill here." She said, using the Power Star to take them back.

BGM: Dire Dire Docks/Jolly Roger Bay
Next stop: Dire Dire Docks
"Mmmph?!" Myra grunted, finding herself underwater as she quickly pulled out a Penguin Suit that Nyx had given her as she let out a sigh of relief, then started to swim through the water, looking around to see some Sushi and manta rays swimming around without a care in the world along with some Cheep Cheep.
She spotted a hole in the wall as she curiously went to investigate… only to get pulled away. "Huh?" She turned around and saw the whirlpool was pulling her in. Her eyes widened as she quickly kicked her legs as hard as she could, but the whirlpool kept sucking her in.
"...Oh, screw it!" Myra pulled out the Power Star as she warped herself out of there and was sprawled out in front of everyone.

"You alright?" Nyx asked.
"Ugh… whirlpools…"
"Yeah… that sounds about right…"
BGM: Lethal Lava Land (Super Mario 64)
Next stop: Lethal Lava Land
"Oh good grief…" Myra fanned herself from the intense heat.
"You think this is a scorcher, you oughta try the volcano." Balthus said.
"No thanks, I prefer living…"
"No really, there's a whole different layout in the volcano over there." He pointed to said volcano that was currently erupting.
"...Yeah no, I'm out of here." Myra said, taking the Power Star.
"I don't blame ya." Balthus said as they warped out where Myra immediately knelt down and splashed water on her face.
Pause BGM
"Here, try over there." Yuri suggested as he guided Myra to a wall.
"There's… no painting here."
"Ah, but looks can be deceiving." Yuri said as he walked toward the wall and jumped in.
"...Oh!" Myra followed him in.
Resume BGM
Next stop: Shifting Sand Land
"Ah geez… from one scorcher to the next…" Myra groaned.
"The Pyramid provides some cool shade." He pointed over the dunes toward the pyramid.
"Oh good!" Myra approached but Yuri pulled her down.
"Up up up! Careful, there's quicksand everywhere."
"Ooof course there is."
"Now I could take you around the area toward the pyramid…" Yuri pulled out two Propellor Mushrooms. "But that's the long way around, not to mention the Tox Boxes are a bit tricky to navigate."
"The Tox what now?"
Yuri pointed off into the distance as Myra saw the Tox Boxes rolling around a set path.
"...Oh."
"Now, could you get around them? Yes. But the non-athletes should be cautious because there's quicksand in that path too."
"More deadly quicksand… yaaaay…" Myra unenthusastically said as they both took the Propeller Mushrooms and flew up into the air as they gently descended toward the pyramid and went inside after landing.
"Much cooler on the inside, yes?"
"Oh, absolutely!" Myra smiled as they walked around, with her being intrigued by the mummified Thwomps as they scaled the pyramid while also getting around some dangerous obstacles thanks to their Propeller Mushrooms.
Once they were done exploring, Myra used the Power Star to warp them out of there.

"Alright… where to next?" Myra asked as they guided her into the next room, where she saw a black puddle in the middle of the room. "Uuuuh… what is this?"
"A portal to the next destination." Hapi said.
"Hapi, that's not a portal. That's a freaking tar pit… a tar pit in the CASTLE, of all places! Princess, WHY do you have a tar pit in the castle?"
Peach snickered. "Again, it's Bowser's doing. It's fine."
"Uh-huh… sure…" Myra deadpanned.
"It's not so bad." Blake said as she hopped in.
Myra sighed. "Okay… I'll take your word for it." She said as she cautiously hovered her foot over it. "...Tally ho." She took a deep breath, closed her eyes and jumped in.
BGM: Cave Dungeon - Hazy Maze (Super Mario 64)
Next stop: Hazy Maze Cave
"You can breathe now. You're fine."
Myra opened one eye, looking around to see that she was in a cave and then saw Blake casually leaning on a wall. She exhaled deeply.
"Okay… I don't understand it but um… cool?" Myra rubbed her head.
Myra hopped down as Blake walked toward the right with Myra following, both of them dodging and knocking out a few Scuttlebugs that were in the area, then Blake hopped over a large gap.
"Mind the fire."
"Fire?" Myra wondered as fire shot out of the abyss. "Whoa!" She said as she looked down as fire shot up again, but she saw nothing in the dark abyss. She got in a stance and jumped across the gap, but was just a bit short.
However, Blake grabbed her wrist and pulled her up.
"Phew, thanks." Myra smiled as they walked through the door as Blake latched onto a pole and slid down as Myra followed suit.
"This way." Blake walked into a corridor where Myra would follow, both of them going through a door as Myra would see a large pit and a corridor that had boulders perpetually rolling down.
"...Oh my." Myra said as they walked through the platforms while some Swoops flew around, then Myra proceeded to magically destroy the boulders coming down. "How many boulders are there?"
"Oh, I'd say… infinite."
"Infinite? Darkness, there can't be that many." Myra shook her head as they went into another door and spotted an elevator.
Blake smiled. "And now the main reason why I brought you over here."
"Okay, you got me curious." Myra said as they hopped onto the elevator and moved down until they reached the bottom of the cave. Blake walked down the slope as Myra followed, then noticed a huge body of water.
"Oh boy… more swimming."
"Not the strongest swimmer?"
"Not really… I know the basics of swimming, but I've never been the strongest swimmer."
"That's fair." Blake nodded as she dove in and swam off as Myra let out a sigh and followed her, where Blake stayed close by.
"So, what did you want to show me?" Myra asked. "Just a big secret lake?"
"There's more to it."
"And that would-..." Myra froze. "Did you just feel something?"
"No?"
"I feel like something brushed against my foot." She said as she felt something hit her leg. "Kyah! Something just touched my leg!"
"Relax, there's nothing dangerous in here."
"Then what exactly just-"
Suddenly, something out of the water as Myra rose up. "Whoa… whooooa!" She yelped as she found herself sitting on the back of a dinosaur. "What in-"
"Hey Dorrie." Blake said.
"Dorrie…?" Myra wondered as she turned her head to see Dorrie turning his head and giving off a playful roar. "...Oh!"
Blake grinned as she climbed Dorrie. "Don't worry. Next to Yoshi, he's the friendliest aquatic dinosaur you'll ever see."
"And this is his home? …All by himself? So lonely…"
"Yup."
Myra closed her eyes. "So this is what I overheard Constance and Peach talking about the other day… they were saying something about "getting him out of the cave so he could make new friends"."
"Oh, they were talking about relocating him?" Blake wondered.
"Yeah."
"Hmm… that's a major project…" Blake folded her arms. "How are we going to get him out?"
Myra had an idea, pulling out the Power Star. "Worth a try?"
"Sure." Blake nodded.

Back outside…
"Oh man, that's rough…" Yang said as they were listening to Nyx telling Myra's story.
"Yeah, she has been feeling a lot better, but it was a bit of a rough transition for her for a while." Nyx said.
"I don't blame her." Jaune said.
"I have a feeling she'd get along with Laxus pretty well." Nora said.
THUD!
They jumped, turning around to see Myra and Blake sitting on Dorrie's back.
"We're back." Blake said.
"And with a plus one!" Myra smiled as Dorrie let out a happy cry.
"Oh my goodness, you got him out? I've been trying to think of ways to get him out of there!" Peach said.
"You got him out without me?" Constance pouted. "No fair…" She mumbled before smiling, rubbing Dorrie's head as he nudged her hand.
"Soooo, how are we gonna get him out of here?" Hapi asked.
"I got it!" Hoopa said, opening up a ring portal that dropped Dorrie right into the moat.
"Ah, right… forgot Green 'Stache's Hoopa can do that."
"So, how was the meeting with him?" Nyx asked.
"She thought something was out to get her in the water when Dorrie brushed against her leg." Blake said.
"Hey, in my defense, I didn't see him…" Myra blushed.
Nyx snickered. "Well, hey, not everything in the water is going to get ya."
"...I know." Myra sighed.
"Although there is one more area where swimming might be really important." Nyx said. "Heck, could be something that might peak your interest."
"Oh?"
"From what I understand, there are these magic crystals that change the water levels. There's also a town that is basically underwater 'til you lower the level, and it's hidden off in a tunnel near a corner."

Myra landed on the platform with Futaba and Nyx. "There's a crystal right over there." Futaba pointed to one of them.
"Oooh." Myra walked over to one of the crystals while Futaba had a smirk and turned the other way toward the platform.
"Huh? Where are you runnin' off to?" Nyx asked.
"Oh, just gonna have a little fun~!" Futaba smiled.
Nyx sweatdropped. Oh boy… She thought to herself before turning toward Myra, who proceeded to touch the crystal as the water rose up to her ankles.
"Whoa!" Myra said, her eyes sparkling in wonder. "I gotta find more crystals! This is awesome!" She immediately ran off, all the while Nyx giggled fondly at Myra's pure curiosity over the crystals.
Futaba, meanwhile, approached a Heave-Ho. It turned around to look at her and moved toward her, but she snapped her fingers as the enemy stopped midway. She hummed as she proceeded to open up the electronics and hummed to herself, quickly making an ice platform underneath it as the water rose up.
"Wooooow! This is so cool~!" Myra exclaimed, her eyes sparkling.
"A little bit of this… let's make you waterproof. Don't automatically throw folks underneath the plate. Mwehehehehe~ The things I can do with this lil' guy. Ooooh, the things Jade can do with it in her lab!" Her eyes sparkled as she kept proceeding to upgrade the robot. "Save changes… put this little guy into the cloud…"
She watched as the Heave Ho was digitized into her screens.
"Kanpeki!" (Perfect!) She said as looked up toward a Chuckya that watched the whole thing, as it started to sweat nervously and took off as she activated her Maiden powers and flew over to it, where she would immediately halt it in place and proceeded to upgrade it to her liking, all the while the place continued to flood, making several Skeeters completely happy while one Skeeter warily looked at Futaba.
Nyx sweatdropped, noticing what Futaba was doing. "Oh… that figures." She shook her head with a chuckle until Myra touched the last crystal.
"Alright… now…" Myra looked around and saw the cage in the corner. "Oh, is that what you meant?"
"Yeah, though the water seems to be a bit low to successfully climb over it." Nyx said, then noticed the water rising as they turned to see Futaba manipulating the water to rise.
"You were saying~?" The Winter Maiden smiled.
"Nice!" Myra smiled as they swam over.
"You know, I could always help you to get you swimming a lot better." Nyx said.
Myra smiled. "I wouldn't mind…"
The three of them went into the cage as Futaba immediately made a current for Myra's sake as they darted through the water until they reached the sunken town, then Futaba swam down toward the crystal and touched it as the water receded.
"Hah… hah…" Myra coughed. "Thanks Futaba."
"No prob." Futaba smiled as Myra turned her head.
"An underwater town…" Myra quietly said as she wandered around to investigate the area as Nyx and Futaba followed her around. The dark mage curiously opened doors and looked through windows, seeing flooded remains of a lost civilization.
She walked out feeling a bit disheartened. "I was hoping I'd find answers as to what happened here but… all the texts I found were all destroyed in the waves. The ink just washed away."
"Definitely a mystery." Futaba said.
Nyx put her hands on her shoulders. "Hey, it's gonna be fine. Whatever happened here, I'm sure they all got out of there before things were too late."
"Look around you. There was no way out." Myra said, pointing to the four walls. "Unless there's a secret Warp Pipe that I haven't bumped into, I'm pretty sure they all perished."
"If they did, then wouldn't we be seeing their bones in the buildings?" Futaba asked. "Yeah, bones decompose in water, but it takes a long time to do so."
"You're right… maybe they did leave, but I wonder how they did so."
"Definitely a mystery." Nyx said. "You done here?"
Myra pulled out the Power Star. "Yeah."

Next stop: Tall Tall Mountain
BGM: Bob-omb Battlefield (Super Mario 64)
"Hope you like hiking." Hapi said as they walked up the mountain.
"Oh, I've explored a few mountains in my day. This is nothing." Myra said as they hiked up with the dark mage looking around to see nothing but mushrooms growing around the mountain with a very long way down to the bottom.
Both of them were able to dodge some Monty Moles throwing rocks at them as Hapi would also throw magic at a Chuckya, stunning it directly as they climbed up a few rocks where a Ukiki playfully approached them.
"Oh, hey little guy!" Myra smiled as she reached over to him.
"Shadow, I wouldn't bother with him."
"Why? It's not like-" The Ukiki grabbed her staff as soon as she picked him up. "-Hey!"
"Ukeekee~! I got it!" Ukiki jumped off and started taunting her with it.
"Aaaand that's why you don't pick up Ukiki. Coco learned that the hard way."
Earlier…
"This isn't fair…!" A sun stricken depressed Constance said as the Ukiki stole her tome and was practically firing dark magic at them as Hapi put up a magical barrier.
"So. Anyone got any bright ideas?" Hapi asked.
"I got it." Balthus cracked his knuckles.
Back in the present…
"B got himself electrocuted but grabbed the furball before he did any more damage… oh, and he's not fond of monkeys anymore either."
"Shame that none of you thought of this." Myra snapped her fingers as the staff returned to her.
"Ukee-...awww…"
"Where were you when we were dealing with that furball?" Hapi snickered.
"Probably still in stasis."
"We could've used you! B could have had his pride still with him."
Myra chuckled. "Oh, if I was in stasis for some other circumstance that wasn't babysitting that scientific neanderthal."
"Calling her a scientist is a bit of a stretch…" Hapi said as they continued to climb up the mountain until they were up the peak.
"Wow… what a view!" Myra said.
"Yeah. Word on the street is that there's a secret area here where you can find your way into a super fun slide, but I could never find it. I don't think any of the wolves did either."
"Well, something to discover when I feel like coming back." Myra said, pulling out the Power Star and warping out with Hapi.
Next stop, Tiny Huge Island
Myra landed on the ground with Xena, where they discovered tiny Goombas running around. "Uh… do I need a Mini Mushroom?"
Xena giggled. "Nah, there's something else." She said as they made their way over to a Warp Pipe and hopped in, where Myra hopped out and were surrounded by giant Piranha Plants.
"WHAT THE HECK?!" Myra yelled in surprise as the Piranha Plants turned to her, but Myra was quickly pulled into the air as Xena was levitating above them all.
"Yeah, this place is pretty cool."
"Yeah, if you like being plant food…" Myra sweatdropped as Xena took her near the edge of a cliff. "Whoa… wait, did we shrink?"
"Yup. The Warp Pipes are unique in this place. We're either tall and everyone is so small, or we're the size of ants and everything else is humongous."
"...Goodness. That's… I've never heard of Warp Pipes changing the landscape just like that… and I've been to Giant Land! …Is that still around?"
"Yeah, everything's still big over there."
"Well… maybe this is part of the area." Myra said. "Or… maybe not?"
"Best not to think about it if you don't want a headache."
"Good point." Myra shook her head.
"Come on, we're going into that mountain." Xena grabbed her hand.
"Did you say "into" the mounta-" Myra was teleported inside with her. "...Whoa."
"Pretty neat, eh? It's home to that lil' guy." Xena said, pointing toward a small Wiggler that was wandering around before spotting the duo. He happily waved and went back to wandering around, munching on a few leaves.
"Cool." Myra said.
"Ready to go?"
Myra pulled the Power Star out. "Yeah!" She nodded as they were warped out of there.

Next stop - Snowman's Land
BGM: Cool Cool Mountain
"Well, at least it's not another mountain where I slip and slide…" Myra said.
"Oh, where's your sense of adventure?" Rantaro teased.
Myra laughed. "Okay, ya got me there." She said as they walked around, though Rantaro looked up at the giant snowman up top. With a grin, he latched onto the body and started climbing as a Mr. Blizzard turned to see him, raising a snowy eyebrow and wondered why a human would climb with no gear at all. He rubbed the back of his snowy head in curiosity.
As for Myra, she spotted a frozen lake underneath a platform as she barely dipped her finger into it. "Ack!" She pulled away, conjuring up some purple flames as she put her finger into it to warm it back up. "I didn't think it'd be that cold…"
She walked away as her finger slowly warmed back up, then saw several piles of snow being launched out and landing in the frozen lake behind her. She spotted a ! Box near her as she hit it with magic as a Koopa Shell came out of it.
"Hmmm…" She rubbed her chin as she had an idea. She hopped onto the shell and kicked her foot back to get some momentum until she shell surfed over the snowy area until she turned around and went toward the frozen lake.
She immediately launched off of a snowy ramp and landed on the platform above. She hopped off the shell as a result. "I didn't think that'd work…" She admitted as she started to climb the Snowman's body.
"Who daaaares to climb my body? I think I'll blow you off!"
"Dude, you got a penguin walking on you!" Myra said, but the snowman didn't care as it started to blow into her, but Myra used magic to reflect it back and safely walked across the platform until she reached the top.
"What took ya so long?" Rantaro asked, casually making a snowman.
"What the…? How did-"
Rantaro smiled. "My semblance."
"Wait, so when you said "any surface"..."
"I meant "any surface"."
"Wow… how come you didn't invite me to climb with you?"
"You didn't ask."
"...Oh." Myra chuckled to herself. "Fair enough."

Once they went to the third floor…
"Ah, the clock. I've always admired this." Myra said.
"There's more to the clock, my dear Myra." Constance smiled as she approached it.
"Let me guess, you can open the glass?"
Constance giggled. "Come now… don't be ridiculous~" She smiled as she climbed up and walked right into the clock face.
"WHAT?!" Myra yelled. "...I was way off."
Next stop: Tick Tock Clock
BGM: DS Tick Tock Clock (Mario Kart 8)
Myra landed on the ground. "Whooooa…" She said as she looked around, seeing the lay out in front of her as Yang landed next to her.
"You like it?"
"If I didn't know any better… I'd say… this is a racetrack."
"That's because it is!" Yang smiled.
"You're kidding me…"
"It used to be a platforming section before they decided to change it up and turned it into a racetrack."
"Soooo uh… is this the only way to get here?"
"Nah, the clock portal is just a shortcut."
"Oh, okay."
"Hey slowpokes! Hurry up!" Constance called out as Yang and Myra walked over.
"Hey, Myra?"
"Yeah?"
"This whole thing with you and Viola… why didn't you see the signs earlier?"
Myra sighed. "Truth be told, I did but… I didn't want to believe it. I thought "maybe I'm just paranoid"... I should've just… I dunno, helped everyone evacuate the Hoarfrostians. Instead, I just listened to Viola when I should've went with my gut and saved them all. She said along the lines "There's no saving them."."
"And you didn't warn them?"
"She thought there was no point and they were all doomed. Ugh…"
"Hmm…" Yang then gave her a grin. "Hey, we all do dumb things. And besides, we'll help you with your Crystal Star and Viola problem."
Myra's eyes sparkled. "Really?"
"Yeah! If you need any help with a Star, just ring us up!" Yang said with a smile. "Ruby's words, not mine."
"Of course…" Myra chuckled as they wandered around the race track.
"Sooo, I've heard you've taken a shine at racing."
"Oh, it's my new favorite thing!" Myra smiled. "That said, I tried to race against Haru at Peach Beach and… I unfortunately ate her dust."
"Yeah, Haru's got a lead foot."
"Ah whatever, I'll figure out how to beat her eventually." Myra smiled.
"Heads up!" Constance called out as Myra turned her head, only to get nearly hit by a swinging pendulum.
"Whoa! Thanks Constance!"
"You're welcome!"
The trio explored the area further as they walked across gears and clock hands, with Myra getting a feel for the layout.
Nothing like doing recon in case you're about to do a race at this place anyway… Myra thought as they soon reached the finish line, though Myra decided to sit on a gear that carried her to said finish line as Constance and Yang did the same.
"Alright…" Myra pulled out the Power Star. "Time to head back."

"Okay! Any place else?" Myra asked.
"There's only one place left." Peach turned around. "And… it's not for the faint of heart."
"Oh come on, Princess. I'm sure it's nothing to be worried about."
Final stop: Hell, er, I mean, Rainbow Cruise
BGM: Rainbow Cruise (Super Smash Bros Melee)
"Here." Peach handed her a Cape Feather as she put one on herself, donning a pink cape.
Myra absorbed it. "Okay… what are we-"
"Going to make your life a whole lot easier." Peach said, taking her hand and flying up into the air where Myra turned her head and her eyes widened in disbelief.
"Why is it so discombobulated?!"
"The flying carpets take forever to get around too. This is the faster way to get around!"
"I'll… take your word for it!" Myra said as they both flew around, with the dark mage completely in disbelief with what she was seeing. She even decided to touch a flying carpet as she saw how slow it flew around, even going through some glass platforms.
"...What?" Myra wondered as she put her hand on the glass, as she couldn't go through it. "WHAT?"
Peach nodded. "Mario's not much of a fan of this place. In fact, no one's a fan of it."
"I don't blame anyone!"
The two of them flew around until they landed on an airship as Myra looked down, seeing it was a long way down as she sweatdropped.
"Okay… I can see why you said it's not for the faint of heart. It's a long way back up."
"Indeed." Peach nodded as she sat down with Myra sitting down next to her. "Now you know why I gave you the cape feather."
"Clearly…" Myra leaned on Peach's shoulder as the princess giggled, rubbing her back as she leaned her head on hers.
"Any favorites?"
"Oh, I'm quite fond of Tick Tock Clock and Wet Dry World."
Peach smiled. "Glad to hear it."
"Alright… I've seen enough." Myra said as she stood up, helping Peach up.
"Ready?"
"Mhm." Myra nodded as she pulled out the Power Star and warped back to the castle.

"So, how was it?" Nyx asked.
"To put it nicely: A complete clusterfuck."
"Yeah, that's about the consensus regarding that hellhole." Nyx snickered.
"I didn't think that place was so bad…" Rosalina said.
"That's because you float around without a care in the world!" Nora said.
Rosalina giggled. "You say that like it's a bad thing~"
"Okay, anyone up for some cake?" Peach asked.
"Ooooh, put some chocolate in that!" Daisy grinned.
"I'll put some Star Bits in it." Rosalina added. "I'll even bake some cookies too."
"Oooh, you're speaking my language, mom~!" Ruby's eyes sparkled.
Myra chuckled as they walked away, leaving the dark mage by herself.
"Well… I guess my friend group just increased." She chuckled.
"More friends to help you out." Vivian said.
"Yeah."
Myra smiled as she turned toward the clock. "I can't wait to actually race on that track."
She turned around and walked downstairs to join everyone.
Ibuki: Wonder if she'll find the secret areas... there's still the aquarium and other spots!
I'm sure she'll run into them eventually.
