Steve and Danny were in car when Steve's phone rang.

- "McGarrett" he announced

- "Commander, one person was found on the side of the road and is in serious condition. She was taken to the hospital" Duke said.

- "Name?" asked Steve

- "Lieutenant Catherine Rollins," said the police officer

Steve felt like he was getting a slap in the face. Maybe the blood had even left his face.

- "I arrive" he announced

For the next few minutes, you can hear more than just the sound of the engine in the car.

-"Are you okay?" asked Danny.

- "I'd like to go to the hospital; would you rather come or go with the others to try to find something?"

- "I'll be more useful with the ohana, you just have to drop me off at HQ, Lincoln is waiting for me there."

- "Thank you, Danny."

- "And it's going to be okay, Danny reassured him as he got out of the car. We're going to find the ones who did this."

Steve nodded and drove off again, heading for the hospital.

Tripler medical center, Honolulu, Hawaii, 10:45 AM

He arrived there very quickly and went to the central secretariat.

-"Hello, what can I do for you?"

- "Good morning, I have come to see Mrs. Catherine Rollins, she was admitted this morning" answered Steve

The secretary leaned over her computer for a few seconds before looking up at him.

- "Only the police or very close family can access it at the moment, I'm sorry."

- "I'm from the police" he said

"That's not wrong, that," his conscience whispered to him. You haven't been a member of the family for a long time" And the thought alone squeezed Steve's heart.

- "In those cases, it's room 212 of the intensive care unit," the secretary announced

Steve walked away, a little worried to hear that Catherine was in intensive care. In a little less than 5 minutes, he managed to find the room where Catherine was and seeing her in that bed, lifeless, turned her stomach upside down, but the bruises on her face made him very angry. He sat down on one of the chairs next to the bed and waited for her to wake up.

Danny arrived with Lincoln at the place where Catherine had been found a short time before. The other members of the Five-o, who were already present, showed them the photos of Catherine taken by the HPD when they arrived at the scene. And Danny realized it with the pictures, Catherine wasn't in a good state, and he wondered how Steve was feeling, at that very moment. Catherine opened her eyes slowly. She was exhausted and immediately felt a bad headache set in.

- "Cath?" a voice called out to her, and she turned her head to the source of that voice.

A man looked at her, looking worried, and she lost herself in the blue of his eyes.

-"Cath? Do you recognize me?" the man in front of her asked her again.

Catherine looked at him and turned her mind over with her memory, but she couldn't remember who it was.

- "I'm sorry, I don't see. Do we know each other?"
