"Regret really comes after," Shinnosuke sighed as he looked at his brother-in-law's sleeping form. "If only you didn't reject Chase back then."

"Gou was projecting," Kiriko gave her husband a cup of coffee. "He just saw father's actions on the Roidmudes and projected his anger on them."

"And now he's working so hard, often times neglecting his health, just to revive all four of them." Shinnosuke shook his head.

"At the very least, Eiji can pull him out of his work." Kiriko smiled as she looked at the crib where her son was sleeping.

"He does make for a good uncle." Shinnosuke chuckled.

"So, did Gou say yes?" Shinnosuke asked.

"He did," Kiriko nodded. "With the both of us being asked to investigate people out of the city, on different cities, Gou's the only one available to watch Eiji,"

"And Eiji still needs his mother," Shinnosuke hugged his wife from behind. "It's only natural for Eiji to come with his mother."

"Will you be fine?" Kiriko asked her husband.

"I will." Shinnosuke nodded.
