Wynter's Pov:

"Well this has been a rather tense summer. I almost eaten by a giant snake fish monster, my boyfriend died and back from after falling into the beach from a crumbling tower. A duo of killers come to Seabrook to stop another killer that was going sacrifice a sasquatch so he could be a part of the town and lastly there's a tiki man with a story of sorts of stuff that could cause all sorts of trouble if they don't know what they can do. And I loved it! There were moments where I question if this was my life and that I'd never a normal werewolf life along thinking I was about to die, but all in all it was exciting! Yet there's something wrong about the summer ending, I mean me and Revenant graduated and the others too. I hear that Zed and Addison decided to do part time work at the school since there more non-human students attending there, even Bucky since he has ideas for future prep rallies. Me and Rev? I don't know. Maybe we can think of something after we go to the summer blowout that's being hosted at TZ's place in Zombie town."

Morning-Zombie town

It was the last day of summer and everyone was doing their own things to enjoy it before school would start. Right now the gang wanted to have one last summer blowout, which they happened to decide and host it at Tiki Zombie's place since they wanted him to feel welcome in Seabrook, along that TZ wanted to try out his dance floor he had apparently built in the back of his store. Right at the center was Zed and Addison having a tender moment as the pair were doing a slow dance together.

"Sad to say our time's come to an end. But it's just goodbye until we do it all again."

Singing together and talking about how the summer had ended, especially that this would be their last dance before they got started on helping out the school. The zombie and hybrid alien girl were about to share a kiss, they heard a guitar stringing loudly as it was coming from the band that Brit hired for the occasion.

"One, two, three, four! Five, six, seven, eight!"

Yelling in the crowd having anyone cheer out for everyone to join in the celebration. The two shared a laugh at how the group broke up the personal moment since it always felt special, yet it always made it better when their friends were around to enjoy the occasion. Zed and Addison danced lively as the two were quickly able to adapt with their friends seeing how the band was making things exciting.

"Crazy how we got this chemistry, Crashing like a wave of energy. Have you heard? it's a fact, opposites attract."

Zed asking most of the guests in the room as they were nervous dancing with humans, zombies, werewolves and aliens as they were attending the party. On the other side was Addison who noticed several girls nervous in participating in the dance as they noticed several of the boys waving to them.

"Some cats like that vroom, vroom need for speed. And some dogs like that chill, chill ocean breeze. But in the sun, it's a party, you and me and everybody!"

Encouraging them to participate in the dance as she looked over noticing A-Spen by Willa's side as they were able to make the floor light up in a color manner. Seeing the sight and excited to dance, they rushed in joining up with a partner dancing to the music being played with Zed and Addison joining in on the fun.

"It's been the best summer ever! Wheels and waves, surf and shades. Best summer ever. Rocking every night and day, like shakes and fries, wet and dry. It all adds up to feel like the best summer ever. Best summer ever!"

Singing out together as the room was full of excitement and joy which caught everyone's attention. Willa, who only nodded her head at the rhythm didn't dance that much. The alpha enjoyed seeing the pack having fun but was quickly pulled in by A-Spen as they desired to express their feelings to her. It left her to laugh at the bold move they displayed in front of her

"You're the sun that makes my galaxy shine, and you might be the moon to my howl. Who'd have thought we could ever rev it when we get together?"

The two leaders singing as they took the dance floor showing off their own set of moves. At the side was Tiki Zombie waving at everyone as he wanted to offer them colorful Lei for them to wear. Unfortunately, the flowers were sent and flew in the air trying to blind the gang. Yet it didn't stop them as they thought it was for the party and continued the dance.

"It's been the best summer ever! Wheels and waves, surf and shades. Best summer ever. Rocking every night and day, like shakes and fries, wet and dry. It all adds up to feel like the best summer ever. Best summer ever!"

Praising about how the summer was incredible and ignoring the killer Lei that were coming at them. Yet it was stopped by a butterfly net which Revenant had as well capturing them before they landed on anyone, smirking at getting them all. He didn't see one coming from behind, until Wynter came over to grab the flower and catching the zombie by surprise seeing her saving his backside.

"Thought it's cool to protect Seabrook alone. But it's harder, electric when we're close. Guess it's true life's not a solo ride. Just dive in, the sparks are gonna fly!"

Singing together before hurling the Lei back to Tiki as he accidentally drops it near the band. It caused the four to play uncontrollably as well messing with Brit as they begun to attach themselves to her, the others didn't notice and followed her movement not knowing the sentinel leader was scratching herself from the Lei messing with her.

"We can't stop singing cause the surf's up. It's meant to be, it's meant to be. I'm falling for you cause you're crazy. Just like me, just like me we're cruising, cruising. Cruising for a ride. Bike or board, grab your gear. And meet you right back here next year!"

Suggesting about how the next summer would be even more exciting than this one, as well not involving an ancient entity trying to destroy the town. Meanwhile, Brit continued to get the Lei off her as well the band members. Luckily, they weren't humans but Insectoids who quickly shook off the flowers and Brit which went up to the fans turning the sentient flowers into confetti which the guests thought was part of the show seeing how color the flowers became when they went to pieces.

"We'll have the best summer ever! Wheels and waves, surf and shades. The best summer ever, rocking every night and day. Like shakes and fries, wet and dry. It all adds up to feel like the best summer ever. Best summer ever!"

Finishing the song as the gang smiled at the dance, they all had as well not thinking about the Lei that almost attach themselves to them. Tiki Zombie got nervous about what happened and told the numerous guests that came here that he had to close up early so he could clean up the place.

"Thank you all for coming. Make sure to tell your friends and families about TZ Nick Knack Lounge, fifty percent off when you buy the first item."

The owner telling the people at how he needed to clean up the Lei on the ground as he noticed several of them trying to go on the people. Brit as well Revenant and Wynter get the shredded up plants and place them in the pot, meanwhile Zed and the others notice the sentient flowers acting up and decided to put them in one of the trash cans so they didn't escape. Brit was busy talking with the Insectoid band since it was the first time a group came to Seabrook and doing a performance.

"So sorry about these flowers messing with the performance. Sugar water and candy is on me, as well that Queen can send more Insectoids over if they wish to be a part of the Seabrook community."

Telling the four insectoids for what happened and that it Queen, who was the group's ant friend now turned into the new Insectoid queen letting several new insects go into Seabrook and do several activities for the people. They nodded for her apologize while hissing towards Tiki since it wasn't a smart move in handing out offerings without knowing what they could do and decided to return back to the colony while saying their goodbyes to the Z-gang.

"You should put a warning label on half of this stuff. What next? Killer dolls."

Willa joking with TZ about the stuff in his place having unknown items with hidden qualities that came from outside of Seabrook. Tiki didn't say anything about the last part as he made a rush in the back to make sure nothing like that was in the store. Meanwhile, Zed was checking out with Rev who was able to gather all of the Lei petals and took a moment to relax from the party they had.

"I heard that with the school starting up, new monster students will be attending. Maybe you could handle the monster society club, they could use someone with experience in knowing what to do if something happens."

Offering a suggestion about something to keep himself busy since it seemed things were going be quiet for a while. Revenant declined the offer due to him being occupied with several things going on that required his attention, in which Wynter took a moment to think about why her boyfriend wouldn't want to spend time at the school as she glared at Rev thinking about his real reason for saying no.

"You wouldn't be saying no to his suggestion because of a certain girl that came into town and caught your attention. Right?"

Suspecting him about wanting to learn about Cassie and anyone that was in her line of work that involved helping people out with occult or supernatural situations. Though she thought it was because Cassie might have caught his attention since she was fierce, sense of personality like his and attractive like herself. The zombie boy noticed how Wynter might have gotten the idea he was interested in her, leaving him to pet her head which made the werewolf girl blush at him showing affection to her.

"There's no one that would make me leave your side Wynter. Besides, I think she was more interested in you since after we helped clean up that cook out she smiled at how you scared Bucky on talking about the next event he'd want to host."

Responding back at how he wanted to be with her and that Cassie was interested in Wynter since she'd meet that many werewolves with a tough personality. This left her speechless at someone else noticing her as she decided herself to focus on the cleaning. Hearing the idea, A-Spen was able to add onto the topic since it seemed important to talk about.

"If you are curious about individuals that deal with these matters. I'd be more than happy enough to assist you in the research, there is an estimate around."

Just as they were going tell Revenant about how many that were involved in the occupation, Willa stopped them since the less they knew about that topic the better. They were already in the presence of Tiki Zombie who was involved in profession, they didn't need to know anyone else that might bring their lifestyle into Seabrook.

"If anything there is something we might need help with at the school. Eliza was helping out making the computers be faster and installing several of them in classes, until she found something interesting that might need your assistance."

Addison expressing the urgency of why he needed to come back to the high school. Feeling the concern tone in her voice, Revenant had no choice but to accept as he decided to follow her and Zed to what was happening at the school. Wynter decided to stay back with Willa so they'd head back to the den together, meanwhile A-Spen was confused by their wolf companion's behavior when she stopped them from aiding Revenant's research in looking up others like himself.

"While learning things is important and helps people get better at understand things. The last thing we need is more slayers bringing unwanted attention to Seabrook."

The alpha claiming that they saw what Cassie Hack's life was usually like, she didn't want to risk either her friends or the pack getting involved in other slayer's business. While it did sound rude to not meet people who understand what Revenant goes through every day, it would be safer to stay in Seabrook where they had things under control. Brit on the other hand knew that wouldn't last since the slasher that came to Seabrook did it by himself, so if a mad man like that knew this place. It would be better to have extra help if it would come down to it, she could only hope the others could accept it before it was too late.

Later-Seabrook High School

Returning back to their old school where it was still getting ready to open up again for new students in the next couple of days. Addison was leading Revenant and Zed inside where the two saw decorations and other types of banners set up in welcoming the new class, especially now that they were able to take in Alien and Ceto students.

"Some of the teachers wanted to do a lesson on unusual fauna and wanted a unique plant, so they contacted Eliza to help set up the computers to look up plants across the world. Though she found something in the back of the school which made the teachers decide to ditch the computer idea and have the students study it."

Explaining the situation about the school contacting Eliza to help with the project, until they decided to change her idea for unique plant that had grown from right behind them. When Revenant heard the word plant, he stopped in his tracks as he was getting memories of the last time he dealt with a killer tree on Christmas. Shuttering at the thought and trying to keep cool, he followed them to the science lab where they saw Eliza looking at the plant she'd obtain.

"Venus fly trap. Easily best plants that meat and fun to feed."

Zed introducing Rev to the plant which made the glasses wearing zombie groan at this wasn't exactly a plant he'd expect to be around a school. The look on Eliza's face shared the same expression since when she found the plant, it didn't seem to be good idea due to it and zombies having a carnivorous side.

"Glad to see someone with brains here to help convince them that a man-eating plant to be in school. Is a bad idea! Not to mention that I can't even figure out what type of Venus fly trap it is."

Expressing the safety of letting students and teachers near an unknown plant that could possibly eat an entire class in one gulp. Revenant took a second to check out the plant as it didn't react to him since he had a way to get either humans or monsters to attack him. Checking out the yellow vines and its color pattern, it seemed rather unique and not so hostile.

"See Eliza? It's not violent. As well it could be a topic for zombies to learn about in fauna studies, and it's behaving in front of us."

Addison expressing to Eliza that the teachers made the right call in bringing the plant and making it the subject to study about. While they went back and forward with talking about the plant being safe in school, Zed walked over to check out the plant while drinking a lime soda can just in case if they were going be here for a while.

"This could be new type of plant. Maybe the school can get credit, meaning Eliza would get credit as well zombies because we're good at finding unpredictable stuff. Everyone wins right?"

Offering his point of view that could help Eliza's cause in getting zombies noticed more since she still worked on in supporting her people becoming more than any ordinary monster that was living in Seabrook. She took a moment thinking that her friend could be right, yet it was snuffed out quickly by the plant smelling the scent of the beverage and biting Zed's hand. Yelping at the bite and Addison rushing over to help him but the plant scared Addison enough to shock it as the fly trap was covered in lime soda. The others checked out if Zed's hand was alright, not knowing behind them they something growing behind them.

"If what I'm thinking is happening now. You three, owe me for this. And will never question my suggestions again."

Eliza stating to them about what was going on with the plant that had been contaminated with the lime soda and Addison's alien abilities. Turning around slowly the four were shocked to see the Venus fly trap mutating into a larger plant with two heads with the addition of having bigger teeth than before. Breaking free from its pot, the mutated plant leapt off the table and climbed into the vents either to escape back outside or find something to eat.

"The times when being right used to feel good, now it's just us getting kicked in the back side."

Revenant summarizing how whenever someone was right in the group, it would turn back on them and everyone that was close by. It even went further proving Eliza was right as they heard a high pitch yell coming from the auditorium. Heading out to the hallways to see where the mutant plant went to, Addison stopped everyone as she looked at a nearby supply where she came up with an idea.

"Anyone thinking what I'm thinking?"

Asking the zombies as the cheerleader walked over to open the closet seeing janitor supplies but also gardening tools to help handle weeds. Arming themselves with whatever could cut up the two headed plant, the gang rushed towards the auditorium to see what it was doing to whoever it might have found. Kicking the door open and preparing to prune the mutant fly trap, they saw the two headed fauna performing with Bucky. Who apparently was here to check out the prep rally that were planned for the school year.

"Addison! I knew you were behind this incredible performer that came flying out of the air vents. A first, I was going blame you and the others for being total screw ups and getting Seabrook into trouble. But Dolly and Dusty here convinced me otherwise, hit it!"

Greeting his cousin and was in a joyful mood as he was able to make them a pair of hats and managed to tame its aggressive personality. Suddenly the two headed plant began to help Bucky do acrobatics as well play several instruments by the side in a musical tone.

"He's Bucky! He's one of a kind! We're so lucky, cause he's a dancing mastermind! Nobody, nobody, nobody is better than. Bucky!"

The plants singing in unison and on key while helping Bucky perform stunts that he couldn't do alone or with his own cheer squad. It was a surprising sight and rather fantastic display of teamwork, yet Revenant didn't know whether to dunk his head into water to forget what he saw or to call it a day. While Bucky continued to offer the plants several ideas for the performance, Eliza noticed how Addison was looking at her seeing that it didn't turn out bad and no one got hurt in the process.

"Fine. Maybe the plant is alright, besides I think it could be the school's first prep rally mascot."

Responding that as long it had Bucky around to help entertain its behavior than it shouldn't do anything bad. With that out of the way, Revenant looked over to Zed seeing that this happened because of the lime soda he had as well Addison's electricity. This made him suspicious about what happened and would have to study it, meaning he would need a sample from the mutant plant.

Afternoon-Alien Mothership

Risking his neck in getting one petal off the fly trap and avoiding getting eaten, Revenant decided to go to the one place that knew about stardust sparkle and could offer him assistance in understanding the power. He was also being treated of the injuries he got from the plant since it attacked him and attempted to do the same to the others, luckily Bucky was able to calm the plant draw its attention back to practicing dances for the new school year.

"This is quite remarkable. Stardust sparkle has always used to help protecting one another and rejuvenating both our technology and people. It's never been experimented on with any other life forms."

Aerial studying the petal as the zombie could tell it was fascinating for the aliens to invest their attention on the matter. Especially since they've been active on studying Earth culture to help the other aliens on the ship adapt to Seabrook since they were attending the high school.

"Indeed. Yet whenever we used it for other objects, they blow up. But the fizzy substance is able to manipulate the energy and allow it to reform what it lands on. Quite fascinating."

A-Li adding on as she was helping out with the research since the spark only reacting this way because of the soda that mixed together in creating the evolved plant. Even if it was new and importantly should be studied on if it could do the same to anything, Rev had an uncertain look on his face about the whole event as well something else that he wanted to get around without anyone interrupting him.

"Since it's just you all here and enjoy good research. I need your help with something that A-Spen was going tell me but Willa took them away to do other things with her, so I'm here with you to ask a personal question. Where they able to look up others like me? Other slayers?"

Asking the four aliens on board about anyone that was similar to Cassie Hack and Vlad since that was the term that best described them. With the fights, near death experience and questionable moments in his zombie life that had happened. He felt like a slayer even if he didn't acknowledge it, taken a second to understand his behavior and that their leader was doing research about them. The mothership was able to help the zombie boy out with his question as it brought a hologram showing a recording of the two slayers in action.

"When that creepy duo came to Seabrook, A-Spen and the rest of us were fascinated with them and decided to look into their history. Though we couldn't get close to do a brain scan, luckily they have a blog that Cassandra Hack writes."

Explaining that she writes blogs about cases they'd handle in the past. Each one was either about disappearances, unknown mysteries and conspiracies about life. All in the while that they confirm it was something made up, yet Revenant could figure out they handled the cases before anyone got involved and ended up missing. Taking a moment to read each blog carefully, the peacekeeper Apex noticed the look on Revenant's face as it was a mixture of suspicion and fascination.

"What exactly made you interested in this matter? Especially now that they had left. Are you seeking to one day join them?"

Questioning about that after the life-threatening event he'd experience and fighting a slasher, he'd want to forget it. Yet he saw a complexed look like if his world had open to new things he could see, he could meet and importantly. He could be afraid of.

"No. Just mentally readying myself, because if a slasher could come here on its own. Then what else could come to Seabrook? Who else would be interested in town that has so much to give?"

Asking him and the other aliens in the brig about anyone waltzing into town thinking they could do whatever they like. In the past it seemed easy, figure out if they were friends and could help out but if not, he as well the gang would handle it without making a skeptical about it. Though with this arrival messing with his mind and perspective on knowing what to face. Walking over near the window to see the whole town right below them, he looked over the head where he saw the forest and furthermore leading to the outside world.

"There's so much happening out there while we're here, waiting for new things to come to us. I think we might start regretting that idea."

Warning the aliens about that whenever they see or meet someone that was different and new, they'd welcome it with open arms. Though now with the fear of stardust sparkle being able to mutant anything if it came in contact with soda, along the mystery of learning more about others like himself running around in the world. He and his friends as well family would have to be very careful on the upcoming days, especially with fall arriving. Both a season of change and unexpected things to come.
