Addison Pov:
"School's back in session and it's better than ever! With more monster students attending and everyone doing their part in teaching the new semester on how Seabrook could be a home for everyone, but the only problem is that the student body had gotten bigger than anyone could expected. From the werewolves taking most of their classes outside so they can be closer to nature, aliens modifying the school's structures to add more classes. Lastly the Ceto having their own area which is a massive swimming pool in order keep themselves hydrated for the day. Brit has been helpful enough to make accommodations for the students, but it's given Lee a headache since most of the teachers are having trouble with handling the new students. They don't have the history I had with each group whether it was an incredible moment or frightening since it either led to making peace or something that break Seabrook. There has to be a way I can help everyone out, but how?"
Seabrook-Mothership
It had been a rough couple of days since the school had started and Addison felt like she wanted summer to come back again. It wasn't like her to not back down from a challenge or opportunity to help anyone, but she's felt like her body was ready to give in. While she'd go to her parents for relief and to be amongst others that could suggest help about what she was going through, her half cousin Aerial could best help her with the dilemma she was in. The half cyborg alien was looking at several solutions that Addison could use for helping her friends and faculty at Seabrook High.
"While it's nice of you to suggest several tips on handling school activities and clubs that have recently opened at Seabrook High. I don't think turning myself into a cyborg is the way to do it."
Addison offering her opinion that she'd have several modifications done that would allow her to be faster and stronger than ever. Not extreme modifications but several pieces that would help her handling anything, yet she knew there had to be another way than getting her a upgrade.
"My apologies cousin. From how I've studied humans and that of the town's most athletic players, they always need rest. I've myself have been in the same position before getting my cybernetics, if not then would you suggest assistance from the others?"
Expressing how the body would need to take moments of rest as well unable to do anything for several hours until they had fully recuperated. Yet Addison believed it wasn't enough, more or less that she wanted to make sure everything was settled before relaxing from a job well done. Especially asking the others to help out since they have their own agendas to deal with and own lives, plus they had their hands full of stuff for Seabrook.
"No. Willa has her pack helping out with spirit club, Bree with cheerleading and Zed with football practice. It overwhelms them and possibly cause them to pass out, there has to be a way to figure out this dilemma."
Bringing up her friends activities and not getting overwhelmed by her assignments as she knew there was an answer to this problem. Taking a look at the mothership's collection of items that the aliens had, she noticed something in the inventory that was giving off a strange energy reading on the system. Before Addison could look into it, she was locked out quickly by Mothership as it placed several locks on it and blocking any way into looking at what the item was.
"Sorry Addison. Have to be several light years older if you want to mess with pods that the crew found during their journey to Earth."
The system telling her as Addison merely sighs at the denied permission in letting her see what the mysterious object was. However, she remembered that the system can only lock information digitally and could be accessed by physical touch. Making a run to the inventory room, Aerial rushed after her half cousin confused at what her plan was as she herself didn't know what was onboard since the aliens collected many items during the ride to Earth. Making her way to the inventory hall, Addison placed her hand on the handprint device which allow her to enter the room without any trouble. Looking around for what was special in the inventory hall, catching up to Addison was Aerial as the angelic alien peacekeeper noticed how anxious her cousin was and looking around for the item.
"Please Addison. It is not a good idea to go around items that neither human or aliens should dabble with, A-Spen made sure that whatever they found that was either unpredictable or dangerous would be held here and kept away from anyone who might be interested in them."
Advising her that the room was closed off for important reasons that was both for the safety of the aliens and anyone else who's curiosity would get the better of them. Addison, on the other hand just wanted to see what was wrong with the controls and made it act up.
"I'm telling you. Whatever you are thinking about it won't help with those jobs your doing, sneaking around with alien objects is not something you want to do!"
The mothership warning Addison as the cheerleader only wanted to see if whatever was here might help her, if not then she'd head home and call Brit if there was any of her staff that could help her out. Looking at the several containers that held many objects that the aliens had obtained, checking out what looked like the item that the ship was hiding. It looked like a meteor with an unusual color palette and glowing in emerald as Addison couldn't help but look inside of the rock.
"You were hiding meteor? As well a cracked meteor? Did anything come out of it?"
Questioning about if there was a reason for the hidden meteor as she placed her hand on it to see if there was any type of mold that represented a person or object. Though she felt a sting from it as she noticed the meteor reacting to Addison's touch, it took seconds only for her to see a figure forming itself within the broken rock. Without a moment's notice she saw a hand reach out in a dramatic way leaving Addison to fall on the ground terrified at what was coming out, emerging from the meteor was another Addison with the same look and hairstyle as herself.
"Take it easy. I'm not here to hurt you, well. I can't because I am you."
The duplicate Addison calming her original self as she offered a hand to help her up as it was confusing in seeing another version of herself helping her up. Taking a moment to examine her, the original Addison couldn't believe it as the duplicate looked exactly like her. Down to her smile and helpful personality.
"Are you, a clone?"
Original Addison questioning her 'self' as the other Addison nodded in delight seeing how the rock was able to generate another version of herself. Aerial made her way where she heard Addison's yell and was confused by the sight of seeing two versions of her half cousin.
"Can humans self reproduce? Must say I didn't see that happening to your species in another thousand years."
Thinking that the humans have mastered the capability to self replicate themselves. Addison shook her head as well her clone would have to explain to her cousin about how she was here and what the meteor had done before she came in to see them.
"It's actually the meteorite. It can make numerous versions of someone with one touch, as well can be helpful. Especially with those agendas that your drowning in at school."
Other Addison telling the original as she had her thoughts as well knew the situation she was in. Before having a chance to respond to her clone, Aerial swooped in fast and placed a shield over her keeping the clone contain and denying her the chance to try anything.
"Wait! She didn't do anything wrong, plus she's basically me. So there's not a bad bone in both of our bodies."
Expressing a desire to help her duplicate since other Addison wasn't doing anything but introducing herself to her original self. Aerial looked over to the clone where she showed a honest smile and how it looked the same as her half cousin, looking over to the original where she was doing the pleading expression in letting her go. The cyborg angel opens the shield allow clone Addison to get free as well smile at how her half cousin trusted her as she rushed over to hug her, Addison did the same since she could possibly have a sister that was like her and offer ideas for the problem she was having at Seabrook High.
"Doesn't anyone care about how it seems to good of a thing of someone that's like our all star cheerleader to have someone that's just like her?"
Mothership questioning the moment since it was impossible to trust someone who seemed too perfect and ready to help out with any problems that were happening. The clone could recognize the tone in its voice of how the ship didn't trust her, so she had to tell them something vital in the hopes that it would show that if it was correct and would have to be handled on a later note.
"Don't worry. If you feel like that and I might not be needed anymore, all you have to do is spray me with a bottle of water and I'll disperse. Nice and neat."
Explaining that she could go away painless as Addison didn't want to think of that since she was too nice to be erased. Aerial on the other hand would have to be alert about the clone's intentions, but only smiled at how she had more family to love than before. Hugging the original Addison and Aerial together, the clone smiled at the embrace along having her eyes change quickly to dark pink and a grin on her face that she had plans for when she'd check out Seabrook as well the 'activities' that her original self had for her.
Later-Seabrook High
Back at the high school where things seemed quiet and not so busy, Revenant and Wynter decided to take a look around since they had been preoccupied with Sentinel business that involved them doing research on the outside world. Looking up either events that involved supernatural cases or people handling them, most of it caught Rev's attention while Wynter was focused on checking out the school to see if Addison needed help with her scheduling problems.
"Babe? We're here."
She told him at how they arrived at the school and how it seemed not so busy since she heard that the place was busy with new students running around the area. The wolf girl felt bothered that she didn't see either her pack running around making their territory across the school grounds or even socializing with the other monster students.
"Rev. I think we might have come in on a day off."
Suggesting there was something wrong at the school as Wynter looked at Wynter who was still reading papers about the case files that Sentinel was able to give him to keep him occupied since he'd had graduated. Growling at her boyfriend to get his attention, Revenant was able to focus on his surroundings and noticed how things were quiet.
"Maybe they left to head home early and decided to get Froyo, but we should check up on Zed and Addison. They have to be around since they know the school would need experience in handling a football team and cheerleading."
Thinking about finding the two as the couple made their way into the school to see where they could find the two. Exploring the hallways and checking out the classrooms to try and find any students or teachers, there was no one in sight. Both continued the search until they made their way back outside where they looked confused at what was happening and heard chuckling outside near the water fountain as they walked over to see Zed and Addison hanging out.
"Guys. Why is the school completely empty? Is there something Bucky's doing that requires the entire school to be empty?"
Revenant asking them on how there seemed to be no one in sight to find or anyone they could talk to. Addison could notice the confusion happening as she was happy to explain why the school was quiet and not busy like usually is.
"Should have told you about it first since your involved in this type of thing, but it's all taken care of because of my sisters. Or clones if you want to make it specific."
Answering his question about the building being empty as this still made him and Wynter confused since they didn't see anyone in the building along how the word 'clone' got their attention. Zed knowing the same feeling they were having decided to help explain by pulling out his phone and showing a video of what Addison meant. They watched the recording and saw a group of Addison's moving about doing schoolwork and helping out with numerous tasks that principal Lee had asked of her. It was surreal seeing Addison in multiple places and getting everything time for everyone to head home early, even the teachers were excited for the day to end quickly.
"At first it was kinda scary since there was a whole group that looked like my girlfriend and acted just like her. But all they wanted to do was help out, just like the original."
Zed admitting how he was skeptical about Addison having clones of herself running around doing her assignments but saw that they did what she usually does everyday and helping out. While it seemed too good to be true and being proactive, Revenant knew he had to call this out and say something that he knew was about to go bad very quickly.
"And where exactly are they now? Doing a cheer practice for any upcoming games?"
Wynter beating him to the question as Addison nodded as they wanted to practice for a upcoming game that was coming soon. While it sounded like something she'd do, Rev and Wynter's ears went up as they heard what sounded like faint marching coming from the back of the doors. The four made their way as they saw the Addison clones walking out with what looked like a sci-fi style laser cannon and cheering about how they built it together.
"Addison? What exactly is going on here?"
The original asking her clones as most of them muttered about how it didn't look like a fully functional laser beam that could destroy the town in one shot. Hearing the muttering from the clones and not falling for the ruse, the first clone that Addison came from stepped up with her pupils changing to full dark pink and her smile changing to a sinister look.
"Sorry sis. But it was kinda in our DNA to do this, while it is wrong to exterminate life on Earth. It's just something we need to do, nothing personal."
Informing Addison as well saying it in a preppy way that didn't sound crazy, which didn't matter since it was still crazy as the original didn't hesitate but take out a water bottle and sprayed it on her. It did nothing as it confused the others at what she did and the clones not taking her seriously for spraying it on the clone leader.
"While we are trying to destroy the town, we didn't lie that water couldn't stop us. It just needs chlorine to help liquify our bodies."
One of the Addison's admitting the truth about their weakness as the clones groaned at their DNA being nice enough to admit the truth to the gang. The clones didn't take the chance as they quickly jumped the gang denying them the chance to escape as they were about to prepare the ray gun to open fire. Continuing to struggle to break free and stop the weapon from firing, they saw a surprising sight of the clone leader quickly liquifying into bubbles and disappearing instantly in front of them. The gang and clones were confused at who was the one that sprayed her as it came from Aerial who brought in back up, she had with her Waylon and Apex who came in with what looked like water guns modified with alien tech that made them look intimidating.
"Aerial told me about the clones and brought us over to handle the clones. We brought accessories for the occasion."
Apex explaining how he was informed by her on what was happening and getting ready as the beta wolf was notified as well when the pack came home early to the den. The trio tossed the water guns to the others as they looked over to the clones and started to spray the Addison's with the water as they were able to liquify them one by one. Keeping back to back and avoiding getting separated, it wasn't exactly a challenge since the clones were melting away quickly as they had managed to get rid of the rouge Addison's from using the weapon. Looking around the area and seeing the clones being handled, Addison couldn't help but feel this was her fault at taking the easy route in handling her work.
"I'm sorry guys. I didn't think that this would happen, or that they were smart enough to make a ray gun. You have to give them props for that."
Apologizing for the trouble she caused and almost dooming the city with an army of rogue clones of herself, though frankly it didn't bother them since they each had a time of almost ending Seabrook with one of their own moments. Still it was nice to see that it didn't go too far and almost succeeded, yet the victory was cut short by Bucky as he came out with a excited look in his face as if he won the triathlon.
"You won't believe what I found at your locker Addison, a rock that can make more of me! Now Seabrook can have they're very own Bucky in their homes."
Praising himself that he was being 'generous' in cloning multiple versions of him and sending the clones into Seabrook. Looking at Addison who might have brought the meteorite to school, they saw a multitude of Bucky's running outside in a carefree manner and was about to start trouble. Revenant having seeing a set of Bucky's running and him having a water gun that could turn each of them into a mess made him grow a smile of joy at the opportunity in front of him.
"I can't believe I'm able to say this in my life but, let's eliminate some Buckys!"
Shouting at the gang in excitement as he was the first to rush at them and shoot water at the clones resulting in them melting. From how excited their friend was to take down the cheer captains ego down, they joined in on the excitement leaving Bucky to cry at how they weren't evil but to conquer Seabrook and make it into his image. Addison only patted his shoulder feeling sorry for him, but that it had to be done since there was more than enough Bucky for Seabrook to acknowledge him as an all star athlete.
Later-The Big House
Escorting both the ray gun that the Addison's made and the meteorite that made two clone armies back to Sentinel base for safe keeping. Brit had the laser to vaporize the rock so it didn't get used again by anyone as she, Rev, Nightwing and Aerial were the ones to witness it's destruction and making sure that any trace of it was gone.
"Now the meteorite had to get blasted, but maybe we should keep the ray gun. Never know when some other type of supernatural threat will want to attack Seabrook, right?"
Asking the three and showing a smile that she wanted to keep the weapon since it was perfect for cleaning up things in one shot. Though the others expressed an decline in keeping a weapon like that around them since it was too dangerous to have lying around. Brit rolled her eyes as she would have it broken down and turned into something helpful for Sentinel as well Seabrook then being a weapon. Aerial was still in disbelief of what her half cousin had done and almost causing trouble for her home town.
"Let me guess. Confused why someone who has half of your blood did a ridiculous move even though you warned her it was wrong?"
Nightwing questioning the cyborg alien about why she appeared to look upset as Aerial didn't understand why Addison did it. It might have been new for her since the concept of having extended family wasn't something she believed she was the only one of her species. The zombie smiled at her curiosity and that this was one of the lessons she had learn about when having family that want what she'd expect.
"She may be half alien, but she's a human who was born around others who had to learn the hard way in making mistakes. Though that doesn't mean they learn from it and others to remind them."
Revenant trying to explain that while the lesson might be hard to learn since most aliens had trouble learning about human behavior, Addison would understand the feeling since she and Aerial were family. The moment was cut short as her eyes began to glow brightly as she looked at the remains of the meteorite and projecting a map in front of them showing what look Seabrook along a blinking dark pink dot that was moving.
"Although I'm not fluent in alien technology and their culture, but I know how to read maps. And that signature is coming to us."
Nightwing understand that the same energy residue that the meteorite was made from was apparently on Earth. Whatever the blinking dot was reacting to the destroyed meteorite that had been destroyed, meaning it could be a clone that was connected to the rock and might want revenge. Deciding it best to not tell Addison or the others about this new problem coming to them, Revenant would need to be ready since he would handle this matter by himself and hope that whatever the dot was didn't have the same intentions as the evil clones did and wanting to conquer the world.
