Chapter 3: Invitation? Recruitment? Or Threat?

Karima acted quickly and destroyed it with her gun but the shockwave blew Daniel away.
The moment the tank exploded a Dark crescent arc sliced through the explosion, catching Karima off guard, knocking her straight into a destroyed building.
"/Adjusting Sys-/" before she could finish a blue ray hit the her and froze the entire building in one huge icicle.
Daniel was on the ground far from the building, lying on his back, his bones were broken, but the pain didn't bother as he stared into empty space, lost in daze, at least that's what it seems. His eyes were glowing a low deep purple.
"I can see it, the circuits, the lines, the code, but it doesn't make sense" he kept observing.
"Great, mum sent me to save a delusional newbie" a young woman said while approaching him as he was lost in thought followed by several others.
The woman had shoulder-length blonde hair and blue eyes; she wore a stand long white dress with gold lines forming a X on it with black full body suit underneath. her eye was that of no emotions and indifference. She was Celeste Cuckoo, daughter/clone of Emma Frost.
She didn't care about the mutant but her mother sent her on this mission so she'll complete it. 'Sigh'
"Looks like he's lost in a trance" said a man that looked like he was an animated ice sculpture appeared behind her, he was Ice-man.
"It doesn't matter, get him and let's go. The sooner the better" Another woman with long waist length blonde hair, she wore a tight black crop-top and pants that had a weird gap in them with super high boots. She wields a giant magic sword with unique designs. Her name was Magik
"I agree" a man blonde haired man walked to them, he had brown eyes, he olive green suite with red armor plate covering his from his neck, shoulders and cross his chest to his waist with yellow gloves. The noticeable feature was the skull tattoo on his face, he was Pyro. "And after that, how about we go on a little dinner, Miss Celeste"
"Sure, but I hope you're ready to live the rest of your worthless life as a worm its supposed to be" she said with indifference but clearly directing her anger towards him.
"Hahaha, I don't know whether to call you dumb or crazy" Ice Man laughed while patting his back.
"He's lucky she didn't turn him for just talking to her" Magik said without interest to the conversation. "Let's just go, I want my sleep" she yawns.
"Ahem, y-yeah, I'll grab the gu-"

Before Pyro could move, a huge red energy blast completely incinerated him.
"!" everyone quickly moved into a battle stance facing the ice building, that was began to collapse,
Within the smoke a pair of red eyes stared at them, as the smoke cleared, Karima was standing unscratched, her arms were joined together forming some kind of high-tech mini railgun.
"/System rebooted/" the railgun melted and her arms returned to normal. "/Sub-mission received/" then her right arm melted into a red energy sword. "/Eliminate all mutants in the vicinity/". At that moment, a compartment opened on her back and fired multiple mini missiles.

KraKoa - Observation:
In an underground circular room, multiple holographic screens were on display showing codes, statistics and maps.
"How is the progress, Sage" a man asked as he stepped out of a circular portal made of KarKoa's tree branch. He wore a white armor with a white utility belt with the red and black X on it along with a white helmet covering his entire head with only a Y shape space on the helmet allowing his face to be seen. He was Magneto.
"Still nothing, the reading is unknown, even for cypher" She sighed.
"Hmm, we must know something about where this sentinel came from or-"
Before he could finish another person came from the portal, she had a striking figure with blue, scaly skin and her eyes were totally yellow with no visible pupils, she had long bright red hair that flowed to her shoulders. She was wearing a white form-fitting dress that had a cut on each side of her legs exposing them, with skulls around her waist. She was Mystique.
"Magneto, the mission is done" she spoke a rude manner.
Magneto didn't pay much to it, "keep trying Sage" She nodded and he turned to face Mystique. "Yes, but sabretooth was caught due to his rashness" she pulled out a pen drive.
Magneto reached for it but she pulled her hand back.
"First I need you to do something for me" she said
"Isn't helping your people enough" the pen drive was pulled from her hands and flew towards the man who appeared behind Magneto.
"Of course it isn't, Xavier" she said annoyed.
"No, it is, we are currently working for a brighter future and every mutant here must do their part" he caught the pen drive and inserted it into a computer. "Don't worry about Mr. Creed, Mrs. Frost will return him and call Scott for me"
Mystique stormed out angrily.
"Is it want we need" Magneto asked
"Yes, now we can move on to the next step" Xavier replied while reading the data. "Sage, you can forget the sentinel for now, put an automatic signature reading on the Omega Prime, the unknown energy is gone now, we have bigger missions to complete."
"Understood" she quickly began imputing different codes.
"I have an unsettling feeling about this, we must stay on our toes, Magneto, but for now, we destroy the mother mold" he smiled and Magneto nodded.
The Sun - ?:
Two women were walking in a hall way of some kind of space station.
One was in a lab coat, she had a slender build, with a short white/platinum blonde hair with blue eyes. She had a demeanor of a highly intellectual and driven woman.
The other was a bald woman with amber eyes, she has metallic implants showing on her face; around her temples and eyes. She is wearing a dark metallic armor with orange highlights that glow.
As they were walking, the bald one stopped and her highlights began glowing and she looked like she was in a daze but quickly returned to normal.
"What's wrong, you seem like a malfunction happened" The scientist asked.
"It was, strange, like a foreign yet similar codes of instructions tried to overwrite my systems and I'm getting a weak reading of something similar on earth" she said with a serious expression.
"Want me to check your codes" The scientist asked.
"I appreciate the gesture but it has already been handled, Dr. Gregor"
"Shame, I wanted to see more into depth the codes of your programming, Karima" Dr. Alia Gregor, Orchis head of research and development, she reported to the world that mutants would have overtaken humanity if not for the genocide at Genosha, the previous home of mutants.
"I appreciate the curiosity but I refuse, but this signal, its weak yet, connected." Karima said while putting her hand on the huge glass window.
"Possible another Omega Prime Sentinel." Dr asked with a frown.
"Unlikely, I was mostly the only one"
"Then it must be an old system activating"
"Possible" Karima thought of the possibility
"We will check later but for now, let's focus on the important task" Dr. Alia looks outside window as well. "Humanity's Ultimate Hope"
Outside was a giant robotic head with four extensions connected to a ring base that seems to still be under construction. The head was a sentinel. The head was;

When the smoke cleared, an ice dome began to crumble. Ice man managed to act quickly to protect the group.
Above Karima, Magik was dropping in fast, she grabbed her sword and spun around.
"Feel the wrath of-" she then sliced sending a bigger dark red crescent arc. "DARKCHILD!"
Karima effortless deflected the attack and appeared up close to Magik and threw a punch.
Magik was quick enough to use her sword to block the hit but what she didn't expect the power behind it. She was instantly blowen away.
Daniel long woke up from his trance after Pyro was incinerated but due to his broken bones, he couldn't due much and even worse he just awakens his mutant genes, he understood them but can't use them. He was basically useless, so Celeste was carrying him with her telekinesis.
"We must hurry" Celeste said in a sharp tome and glared at Daniel clearly blaming him.
"You take him, I'll ho-"
"WATCH OUT!" Daniel warned Ice Man.
Though distracting, but thanks to it he was able to form a small shield to protect him from the energy beam the was fired. He manages to withstand but he was blasted away too, smashing into a building, causing it to collapse immediately.
Daniel couldn't see Karima's movement but he could hear the codes and weapons she makes. Out of reflex, Daniel pushed Celeste out of the way and got stabbed with a red sword.
"ARRGH" Daniel clenched his teeth as the blade was pulled out. He fell on the floor and began bleeding.
Celeste who was trying to understand what was happen didn't have the luxury as the blade was aiming to decapitate her head. She quickly crystalized her body and crossed her arms as the sword sliced leaving a cut. She didn't have time to adjust as a punch slammed her straight into the ground immediately creating a crater. She coughed blood as her diamond arms had a huge dent in them.
Daniel, who was beginning to lose conscious saw Karima standing above him, reforming her gun and pointing at him. 'I wish I was stronger' were his only thought.
A ball was moving towards Karima ab a fast pace but she caught it effortlessly. The moment she grabbed it, a huge EMP was released, disabling her for a while followed by a bright flash, blinding her since her scanners are offline.
When the light died down, all the mutants were gone.
"/Rebooting system…. System active, Initiating Wide Scan/" she scans 30km but couldn't find anything. "/Mission, failed, returning to base/" she activated her boosters and took off.

As the computer screen went off, a dark figure stood there.
"Guess, I missed my only chance for absolute victory. I won't remember after going back or will I be able to come back. It's such a shame, But a time will surly come" purple eyes shone revealing a half purple face, the figure disappeared.
KraKoa – Marauder:

The Marauder's crew was led by the Red Queen, Kate Pryde, and the ship was ready to tackle any mission, from delivering pharmaceuticals to rescuing mutants. It served as both a home and a symbol of hope and resilience for its crew.
Currently, a young man was waking up in the medical, he sat up and was surprised that it didn't hurt. He ran his hand through his deep ash hair, this was Daniel.
'It doesn't hurt, I'm fully healed. That is impossible and he wound, I should have died' he thought as he searched his whole body.
"You could keep doing that all day or you could get your answers." A woman's voice place him on high alert, after the events of today, he's luck to be alive so he won't take anything lightly. He looked around but no one was around.
"Don't look too much I'm here" suddenly a woman walked through the walls,
She had shoulder-length brown hair and expressive hazel eyes. Her clothing reflects a pirate-inspired theme, featuring a long red and black coat with gold accents, a form-fitting top and trousers, and tall black leather boots. She wears a tricorn hat and accessorizes with a sash and gloves.
She smiled at him, "My names Katherine Pryde".
"Daniel Nhite" he answered not wanting to be rude cause he knows who she was, the infamous Red Queen.
Noticing he's still on guard, she smiled but quickly wore a serious expression, "I'll get to the point, seeing that you know me" she walks at sat on a chair and crossed her legs.
"Join me or Die" she smiled.
