Hi Everyone! Thank you for taking the time to read my story! It is meant for Kisara to be a part of the existing story for Yu-Gi-Oh while showing a side of Seto others haven't seen. I obviously don't own these characters or any songs included in this chapter. This is my first story so if I should update it, just let me know and I would be happy to change it. I've had this story in my head for a while and I just write it down so I always remember. Also I rated this M because there are some saucy scenes including this chapter. It isn't my intention to take credit for anything I didn't create. Thanks and I hope you enjoy!

Part 4: Battle City

The Big Day-

Seto is suddenly in his bed. Sitting up and facing his bed frame, he notices he is breathing heavily. He hears someone else breathing heavily and looks down to see Kisara laying on his mattress. He freezes when he sees her position. She lays on her back and he is kneeling between her legs which are spread. She wears a white tank top and blue underwear. His face turns red when he sees the bottom seam of her tank top in between his fingers. He doesn't remember, but it looks like he was pulling it down before realizing where he is. "Seto?" He looks at Kisara who is addressing him. He is clearly freaked out and his face shows it. She wraps her hand around the back of his neck. "What is the matter?" She comfortably pulls him close for a kiss. He closes his eyes and leans closer too, wanting to kiss her with every fiber of his being. BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP

Seto opens his eyes again and sees he is in bed alone. He brings a hand to his head realizing it was all a dream. He sighs deeply. Ever since Kisara saved him and Mokuba at the duel dome, he hasn't been able to deny his feelings for her. She proved her loyalty was equal to what he feels for her. But did she also feel the same romantically? Was she also dreaming of him at night? He sits up in bed and starts to get dressed. Memories of being alone in the armory with her flood back. He remembers wanting to kiss her then, before she took a hesitant step away from him. He puts on his signature silver coat and walks over to his desk. It has his cards organized into different piles which he collects and puts in his duel belt. {Maybe after some time, when she feels more comfortable, I can tell her. It still feels like she just moved here.} He hears a knock at the door. Without thinking he says, "Come in." His door is kicked open loudly as he hears her excited voice.

"Are you ready?! This is going to be so much fun!" He turns his head away from his desk and sees her jumping ecstatically in the doorway. Since taking over Al's role of head of security she has changed her day to day outfit. She is currently wearing black tight pants, a cropped blue shirt, and a grey cropped jacket with the Kaiba Corp logo on it. The jacket has a high collar similar to his, but is shorter ending right above her waist. He can't help but look at her hips as she beams in his doorway. "What is the matter?" Seto has been staring longer than expected and now sees Kisara standing confused in his doorway. Hearing her ask the same question in his dream is too much and he only grunts as his reply. He walks out of the bedroom and past her toward the hallway. "Is everything okay? I thought you would be excited! The first day of the tournament is today!" He walks to the kitchen and takes out an english muffin from the fridge. He puts it in the toaster and leans against the counter. His eyes spy the open door of the guest room she spent last night in. They stayed up late into the night putting final touches together for the tournament. Not only was Al's injury causing issues, but with Gaming Playground Inc no longer available to sell their duel disks; Kisara and Seto had to buy several locations around the city where they can get it to the contestants of the tournament.

Kisara hands him a cup of hot coffee which pulls him away from his thoughts. He takes it, "Thank you."

While taking a sip, she raises an eyebrow at him, "Are you sure everything is okay?"

He sighs once he is done with his sip. How does he explain this to her? "Yes. I just had a dream. It was still on my mind when I woke up."

"Oh. A nightmare?"

"No." The toaster dings and he turns to grab his breakfast, "It was a good dream."

"Ooh! What was it about?" She asks tauntingly.

"Nothing." She chooses to let it go as Mokuba walks into the kitchen.

"Hiya big bro! Hi Kisara!"

Kisara looks at him beaming, "Hi Mokuba! Good morning!" She pours some of her coffee in a to-go mug that says 'Kaiba Corp'. "Well I guess we already discussed the plan. I'm going to get going! Starting today the security is on new orders! New uniforms too!" She walks toward the living room and grabs two large bags. She pats it proud, "The rare hunters are going to run into some issues if they cause trouble during our tournament." Seto smirks at her confidence. She opens the door and calls to them in the kitchen, "Call me if you need! I'll be around! Seto," She turns to look at him. Seto slowly blows his coffee to cool it off while he watches her, bewitched by her charm. Her smile turns dark for a second before returning to cheerful, "Have fun making duelists cry today!" She walks out and closes the door behind her. Mokuba laughs at her comment. It makes Seto smile because he knows she means it. If others made him feel damaged or rude, she would show him that has changed also. Sometimes she can get as dark as him. He tries to get his dream out of his head. Kisara wouldn't want him distracted for the tournament and understands how competitive he is.

"Are you smiling?" He looks down to see Mokuba is staring at him. He grunts as his reply and takes another sip of his coffee. "It's because of Kisara right?" He gives him a taunting look. He didn't realize how little he smiled around Mokuba for him to notice a difference. Despite being apart for so long, Kisara is still the one who saw it the most.

He finishes his english muffin and says, "Come on Mokuba, let's go."

They walk towards the door but Mokuba says, "Hey big bro! I can help you with Kisara!" He glares at Mokuba as he continues, "I can tell you like her."

He waits for Seto to scowl or ignore him, but he is surprised when he hears him say, "Thank you." Mokuba smiles and doesn't press his brother further knowing it would make him uncomfortable. They walk together outside into Battle City so Seto can begin.

Kisara In Charge-

Kisara walks into the security department of Kaiba Corp while holding two large bags. Every guard was called to the meeting and the large common area is packed. She walks up to Al's office which is up some stairs overlooking the training mats and office cubicles. Some of them chatter to themselves while she puts down the bags and opens one. Most of the guards have either experienced her from the party she threw, Al's good words, or the Gaming Playground incident. She reaches inside the bag and pulls out wrist tech. She holds it high above her head to get their attention. They quiet down and Stanton appears at her left while she begins to speak. "Al is okay. The doctors said he will make a full recovery. Until he is back, Seto put me in charge." She puts on new wrist tech which is different from the holo-pads she designed. They are clear and have two hoops wrapped around her wrist and forearm. She continues talking as she clicks it into place, "As acting head, we have a big event over the next couple days. Each of you will work your designated shifts, but also have the option to do other things. You will either be on the streets, training, monitoring data and cameras, or at home with your families. I will lead training sessions for today and tomorrow, then after that it will be lead by Stanton. Anyone he sees exceeding our expectations will be allowed to teach training moving forward. These," She twists her wrist and they watch her disappear where she stands. They murmur for a moment until her head appears. She removed a hood that once covered her face, "Are now a part of your uniform. I've already informed Domino PD that you will be using these so we can move around undetected if need be." She twists her wrist again to reveal she is actually covered in a cloak. It has while iridescent hexagons covering the material like scales. "These are our new Kaiba Corp issued 'Concealed Cloaks' each of you get one ahead of the tournament and will train with it." They murmur at what she has said so far as Stanton shushes them. "I'll be honest. Seto has attracted dangerous people on this tournament. It is our job to protect the Kaiba brothers and anyone else in the tournament. That is a lot of ground to cover. But together we can get this accomplished. Are you with us?" They cheer loudly feeling secure in their new leader. She grins, "Good. There are new job aids at your desks. If you have any questions not answered in there, feel free to come to me. Besides that, I appreciate you all coming in. Especially those who were not scheduled today." Some people disperse while others stay to talk with her or each other. She smiles feeling ready and looks proud as some of the guards approach her with questions.

The Text-

"Come on bro! Do it! She won't think it's weird!" Seto sighs and continues to stare at his phone. He is looking at an open message to Kisara and has his finger hovering over the send button. The message says:

Lunch?

Mokuba looks over his shoulder, "I understand why you are nervous. This is probably the longest text you have ever sent." Seto gives him a glare while Mokuba grins. Seto has already won 3 locator cards and has time for a break. Mokuba suggested he reach out to Kisara which was way out of his comfort zone. But he couldn't stop thinking of his dream. His messages were filled with one sided conversations. He can't remember the last text he sent to anyone. Kisara had no problem texting even when she knew he wouldn't respond. The last three messages were from her and read:

Kick ass today!

You probably won't read this. DGAF! I'll still cheer you on! You got this!

I saw your win against that punk in the alley! Wait to kick ass! I watched the footage and I think he peed his pants when you used Obelisk lol

Even though his dream wasn't real, he still wanted to spend more time together. So, he listened to Mokuba's advice on asking her to join them. He presses send and locks his phone immediately after. He has a feeling he will regret this later as soon as he sees Mokuba's face. His grin keeps growing wider and wider the longer Seto watches.

After a fun but tiring morning of training, Kisara gets a text from Seto back at Kaiba Corp Headquarters. She is watching six of Kaiba's security staff doing push-ups while smiling when she hears her phone go off. She is surprised, occasionally she will get spam but she doesn't have that many friends in town besides the Kaiba brothers. "That is enough guys. Go rest up. I appreciate your attention today." She takes her phone out of her pocket while suggesting, "I spent the boss man's money on having massage therapists and ice baths to help you recover on the roof." They give her a look of shock. She just commanded them to dodge expertly, run, and fight with their fists. A lot of them failed miserably. But now she suddenly offers them a gift? One of the men gives her a wary look while she nods to confirm, "That's right, the roof. Everyone is taking a mandatory 2 hour break because we are going to be doing a lot for the tournament. I'm spreading shifts to cover our bases," She waves them off, "so you all enjoy." They don't question her any longer and rush towards the elevators. A couple of the men limp. Kisara takes out her phone and drops it when she sees it from Seto. She gives an embarrassed smile to Stanton who stands next to her and picks it up. She unlocks the phone as fast as she can and reads his offer for lunch. She chuckles to herself softly and returns his text. Seto and Mokuba are walking down the street when he hears his phone go off. He grabs it and unlocks it immediately to read:

Where?

He smiles at her reply and types back as Mokuba watches.

Mark's-

Seto and Mokuba arrive at Mark's. They are surprised to see Kisara already waving out front. She gives them a big smile while exclaiming, "Hi!"

Seto smiles back causing her cheeks to flush while Mokuba asks, "How did you get here so fast? I thought you were working at HQ?"

Kisara thinks on her toes, "I'm actually requiring the security team to train or work during their shifts. I was leading a training session nearby, making them practice in the real thing." She chuckles light heartedly.

"I'm glad you could join us." Seto walks toward the door and opens it for her.

"Thank you!" She says happily.

Mokuba reads ahead and walks through first, "Seto was glad you could join us!" he then runs inside before Seto can stop him.

"Mokuba!" He wants to strangle him, but he is stuck in place while waiting for Kisara to still walk inside. She chuckles and walks toward Seto who is seething.

She puts a hand on his shoulder causing his mood to rapidly turn dulcet, "I'm glad you invited me." She says reassuringly. His thoughts run wild with his dream of them last night. He wants to kiss her, right now.

{What is wrong with me?}

Despite what he is thinking, his outside demeanor is serious. Kisara starts to back track,"Eh, sorry that was weird." She keeps her head down and hurries inside. She leaves Seto to his regrets as he continues to hold the door open for no one.

He eventually walks inside and is greeted by Mark, "Hello Mr. Kaiba! It's a pleasure to meet your brother!" He gestures to Mokuba who is grinning. Him and Kisara are each holding drinks and have already given their order. Seto sighs trying to wrangle his anger around Mark. Seto appreciates that he respects his privacy. Not only that, but he can make a mean roast beef sandwich which has been his favorite item to get there. There was a short list of people he was kind to. Kisara was first and Mokuba was second ahead of Mark who was last. "Would you like the usual?" He is pulled out of his thoughts when he hears Mark's kind suggestion.

He nods in appreciation and says, "Yes. Thank you Mark."

Mokuba looks at Seto dumbfounded. "I don't think I've heard you say thank you before besides to Kisara!" Seto puts a hand to his head from the teasing while Kisara puts a hand on Mokuba's shoulder.

"Leave your brother alone. Besides, he kicked butt today! Three locater cards before lunch? I'm already getting excited with the finals." Seto looks through his fingers, grateful she changed the subject and straightens up. "I'm especially excited with what Seto has planned. We can finally let that blimp out of the hangar." She cracks open her drink as Seto takes Mokuba's.

"Hey!" He yelps while trying to jump to Seto's height to take it back. Kisara laughs and Seto joins after a couple more attempted jumps from Mokuba. "Give it back!" He cracks it open, takes a big sip, then gives it back to Mokuba grinning.

A moment later, Mark already has their sandwiches. "Here you go kids!"

Kisara reaches for the wrapped sandwiches across the counter, "Thanks!" She turns to Seto and nods her head outside, "Want to go sit?" Seto is hypnotized by her hair as it swings along with her turn and falls over her shoulder. Her long white hair end in the middle of her thigh. Mokuba look at Seto judging him.

He has been staring at her for a moment too long, "Sounds good! Let's go!" Kisara isn't aware of any awkwardness so she smiles and starts to walk outside. Seto naturally gravitates towards her until Mokuba stops him. He yanks him down to his level which causes Seto to rearrange his footing. "What are you doing?" Seto looks at him confused, "You are acting weird! Just get it together!" He let's go of him and walks outside to join Kisara. Seto straightens and exhales, Mokuba was right. He glances at Mark and is happy to see he wasn't listening. He has his back turned to Seto and is arranging something behind the counter. He joins them outside and notices there are only two seats at the table Kisara and him had ate at before.

"I'll grab another chair." He suggests.

"No! I'm leaving. I have important commissioner things to take care of. You two can have alone time." Mokuba waves and starts to walk away. Seto is about to yell at him but Kisara takes Mokuba's hand and pulls him back. Her eyes look deadly and she pauses so Mokuba has time to see.

It feels like she took Seto's anger from him and is using it to talk to Mokuba, "Be careful. Promise me if you run into trouble, you'll call."

Mokuba stutters for a reply at first, then says, "O-Of course! I promise."

She let's him go then gestures to Seto, "I may be your security, but you have to run it by your brother too. He is your guardian." Mokuba gives him a look next.

Seto sees he is trying to help them get closer together so he nods. "Be careful."

Mokuba smiles, "Bye!" He runs away while waving with sandwich in hand. Kisara flops in her chair while Seto sits opposite her. She unwraps her lunch and starts to take a bite. Seto watches her while unwrapping his own. They sit and eat for a moment while saying nothing. The silence feels comfortable and welcoming.

"Do you have your next opponents in mind?" Kisara asks. Seto smiles at hearing her talk strategy.

"No, but I'm sure the options will present themselves. How is the security team holding up with you in charge?"

She gives him a evil grin, "They'll survive." They both start to laugh and continue to eat. Seto's thoughts consume his mind. He wants to get closer to her, but he doesn't know how to start.

"Kisara? Can I ask you something?"

She glances at him, noticing his change in tone, "Sure! Is everything okay?"

He looks away at nothing in the sky, "Are you- Have you been in a relationship before?"

Kisara can feel the words bunch in her throat, "Uh,"

She starts to choke on nothing as Seto watches, "Are you okay?"

"Yes! Sorry yes! I just didn't expect you to ask me that." She laughs to herself as Seto waits for her to reply. "I've been on a few dates." She scratches the back of her neck awkwardly and leans back in her chair. "Some of them wanted it to be something more but I always turn them down."

Seto reaches for her hand which rests on the table. She tenses at the feeling of his touch, but then relaxes. She looks into his blue eyes, feeling vulnerable as he asks, "Why?" She looks at her hand in his. This has happened a lot since they were reunited, but her heart stills skips a beat when it does. After she builds up the courage, she opens her mouth about to reply. Suddenly a flash goes off beside them on the street. It blinds her for a second, but once her eyes adjust she sees a camera being pointed in her face.

A man peeks behind it and asks Seto, "Mr. Kaiba! Is this your new girlfriend?" Kisara's eyes go wide with shock. She wants to punch this photographer's teeth in, but she hasn't experienced the media often. Knocking them out didn't seem like the right solution in this case. Seto rises from his chair and stands between Kisara and the reporters. She notices that this is not just one photographer, but a whole group of reporters and photographers in front of them. Seto's big hands grab her shoulders and helps her to her feet. He guards her with his large body and guides her back inside Mark's.

She spies Mark blocking the doorway with a broom, "Get out of here you vultures! You ruined a beautiful moment!" He sweeps them away as they cough up dust. Seto leads her to the back door and opens the door for them. She starts to pace once they are outside.

"Oh god. I'm so sorry." He steps in front of her to stop her and takes her hand. Her cheeks flush but then he puts the rest of her sandwich in her hand. It is wrapped up neatly. "How did you get this?"

He chuckles while she continues to panic, "You don't need to apologize."

She glares at him, "I'm your security and I just froze back there."

"The media is different. You can't kick them in the jaw like others you have encountered."

"That what I was thinking!"

"Good." He watches her eyes dart around mirroring her thoughts. "You don't have to worry about them. I'll take care of them okay?" She gives him a disapproving look, "Unless they try to hurt me, then you can take it from there."

She smiles and exhales, "Okay. That sounds fair." She flicks her wrist to turn on her holo-pad. It shows her the time, "I guess I should head back." Seto watches, about to interrupt. He wants to continue talking, but he hesitates. He would need 6 locator cards total before moving on to the finals. He has half so far, but he would need to continue dueling to ensure his spot. "I'll see you later?" He decides to leave it. They would have plenty of time to talk.

"See you later." He gives her a smile which causes her to copy him. She taps the heels of her shoes. Wheels rise out of the soles making her a couple inches taller. They transform into skates while Seto watches her surprised.

She chuckles nervously when she sees his attention, "I made them! I don't know if you've noticed, but this is how I commute to work everyday."

"I actually didn't. You continue to surprise me."

Kisara's cheeks flush and she pushes off the pavement, "Bye! I like it when you text me, by the way! You can do it whenever you like!" Seto is left smiling in the back alley of Mark's as he watches her skate away.

Trust-

The next day of the tournament. Seto and Mokuba watched Yu-Gi beat a mime controlled by Marik and win Slifer the Sky Dragon. Marik reveals that Yu-Gi and his friends are in danger. Seto and Yu-Gi easily defeat two rare card hunters, Lumis and Umbra, on the way to find Yu-Gi's friends. Later, they are at a phone booth as Yu-Gi attempts to reach Tea's phone. He exits the booth with no leads. He scolds Seto who replies wryly, "Hey Yu-Gi relax, it's obvious they are really after you and your Egyptian God cards. Not your pathetic friends… Besides, we will find them using our satellite. Wheeler's duel disk emits a signal. Between that and our new chief of security, the city is secure." He pushes a button on this jacket collar and speaks to Kisara through it, "Kisara, we need a lead on Wheeler's duel disk."

Kisara back at HQ is already at a monitoring station on one of the top floors of Kaiba Corp HQ. She hears Seto through an ear piece and starts to rapidly type on a console, "On it. Missed you buddy!" Seto's mouth is about to smile, but he stops it with Yu-Gi watching close by. "I see you are with your favorite person."

"You are supposed to be looking for Wheeler, not me." He commands.

She replies, "I can do two things at once!" This time, his smile can't be held back as he Yami watches it in shock. "The rare hunters have a hacker on their side that is blocking some duel disk locations. I'm actually in the process of locking them out now. It looks like Wheeler's duel disk is one of them."

"So you can't find him?"

"I didn't say that. I have back up plans on back up plans, so I put more than one tracker in each disk." He can hear her fingers flying across a keyboard when she exclaims, "Got it! He is at the docks. He is on the one to the far east."

"You're amazing."

Hearing Seto's voice say that on her ear piece makes her heart skip a beat. "Oh stop. Do you want any back up?"

"No, the dweebs aren't too important." There is silence over the phone at his sinister comment.

"Well, I would ignore you and join you guys but there is a lot going on in the city. I'm trying to find the other missing duelists while in the process of locking out this mediocre hacker. Then I want to patrol the streets. It looks like they are preparing for something. Something big. Can you help Yu-Gi until we can get there?"

He grunts, "Fine."

She chuckles over the phone, "I know you don't want to, so I appreciate it. I'll join you as soon as I can."

Yami approaches him, "Who were you talking to?"

Seto gives him a menacing glare, "None of your business. Wheeler is at the docks." They leave and later run into Lumis and Umbra again, this time wearing masks. They kidnapped Mokuba and had him hanging from a helicopter while tied to a rope. Seto was furious and he ended up teaming with Yu-Gi to defeat them in a duel. During the duel his phone continues to go off repeatedly. It has been ringing since they arrived at the rooftop. Seto grunts, "I'm taking this."

"Go ahead!" Lumis taunts while Seto turns away, "No one on the other end of that phone is going to save you now!"

Seto answers angrily, "This better be good."

"You can thank me later." He hears Kisara's voice realizing he didn't look at the ID.

He whispers, "This isn't the best time."

"Before you hang up, I wanted to let you know Mokuba is safe." He freezes shocked for a moment, "I saw on his tracker that his movements were … off. Let's just say his elevation gave it away. So, I checked it out and I caught him hanging by a rope tied to a helicopter?!" Seto tries to find the words, "So, I got him down obviously, those guys had a good beating before being taken to the hospital. Humanely! Don't worry! I figured you wouldn't mind because of what they did." She chuckles, "Right now I am watching him, we went to get ice cream, and he is ordering. I'm monitoring some things from here. I've been in the field stopping rare hunters who keep bullying contestants into giving them their rarest card. I'm just here working while," her voice gets louder in the speaker, "WAITING FOR YOU TO PICK UP!"

"Kisara I-"

"I knew you would be freaking out! That is why I kept calling despite you totally IGNORING ME!"

"Kisara!"

She continues to ignore him, her mind set on a path, "You should have a different ringtone for me, so you know not to ignore it-

"KISARA LISTEN! Is he really safe?"

Her voice sounds offended on the phone, "Of course! Do you doubt me? I'm pretty sure I got him down quickly! I noticed his elevation go up and I got there in seconds! I intercepted him at the corner of 5th and Franklin."

Seto thinks for a second, "We were right there. We saw him on the corner of 4th and Franklin. Ho- how did you get there that fast?"

"Seto," her voice sounds serious, "Doi, I'm awesome, that's how. Of course, I got him as fast as I could." Seto doesn't laugh, his mind is racing a mile a minute. He thinks of how he had to take care of Mokuba all his life. He hasn't had anyone care as much as she did. Al came close, but he pales in comparison to Kisara. Kisara's voice comes back on the phone, it is steady and reassuring. "Hey, snap out of it. I can tell you are spiraling." His mind goes back to when they were kids, and she told him the same thing while under their tree.

He replies baffled, "What?! I'm not spiraling."

"Relax, I'm snapping you out of it. You're welcome." Her quick witty comments always put him on his heels. "You don't have to be the only one to save Mokuba anymore." He smiles, "I promise to keep him safe."

"Thank you. I have to go take care of the men who took him."

"Yeah, I'm watching your duel now. It's Lumis and Umbra, right?"

He is surprised for a second, although he is not sure why, "Yes, I'm double dueling."

"Don't forget that working together can have its advantages. I see you are paired with Yu-Gi so it must be tough, but nothing is too tough for you to handle right?" Seto thinks for a moment feeling touched. Yu-Gi has tried to convince him to work together the entire time, but Kisara has managed to persuade him a couple sentences.

He hears Mokuba over the speaker from a distance, "Is that him?"

Kisara replies, "Yes! He finally picked up! He is dueling Lumis and Umbra now."

"Good luck big bro!" Mokuba happily cheers for him over the phone.

Seto tears up and wipes the tears from his face quickly when he hears Kisara's voice over the speaker again, "Go get them." She hangs up and he returns back to the duel.

Party Crashers-

During Joey and Yu-Gi's duel, Seto insists that Kisara stay downtown to help the other duelists. In the center of Domino City, a group of rare hunters are holding a rally. They all wear cloaks and one stands on a small garden wall to get height. He speaks loud to everyone. "Marik is on his way! Together, we will help him win the Egyptian God cards and rule the world!" He raises a fist high above his head in triumph while those around him cheer. Some of Marik's followers are willing and believe in his mission. Others are mind controlled or forced to serve him due to his influence. Larger members stand on the border of the group to stand watch. Police are on the outside and watching them. One of the larger members suddenly keels over and falls to the ground. Those around him look around in shock. Next, all the large men around the group are knocked out at the same time. Those in the group look around scared. "Don't fear! Marik will protect us!"

"I'm afraid that's not going to happen today." The leader of the rally turns around to see no on there. He swipes his hand and feels another hand holding onto this wrist tight. Kisara appears out of thin air. She is wearing her security cropped jacket with her black pants and blue shirt underneath. All around her in a circle is the Kaiba Corp security team. They appear out of nowhere too and are all wearing white cloaks. They remove their hoods and aim a gun to the rare hunters. Kisara squeezes the leader's hand and he falls to his knees in pain. Her eyes look threatening as he watches in horror. Domino Police converge on the group, ready to arrest them. "Sorry, but we are crashing this party." Kisara taunts.

Meeting the Gang-

After the group downtown is gathered, the Kaiba Corp remote controlled helicopter arrives at the scene. A rare hunter holds a remote, when pushed would drop a cargo container on Tea's head. She sits in a restrained chair helpless. Seto sees the chopper and throws his Blue Eyes White Dragon card at the hunter to distract him. He still reaches the remote and pushes it. The container falls quickly as Tea closes her eyes. After a couple seconds without impact, she opens them to see a shield around her. It is yellow and shimmers in the sunlight. Kisara becomes visible inside the shield alongside Tea. Tea watches her in admiration while the shipping container hits the shield and slides off into the water. Kisara releases the shield with her hand and turns to Tea. "Are you okay?" Tea just watches admiring her without saying a word. He looks at Kisara's Kaiba Corp issued jacket and gawks. Kisara spies the rare hunter who pushed the button and throws something at him. It binds his wrists and feet and he is left to struggle. Kisara addresses Tea seriously, "Do you need medical assistance?"

She has finished releasing her restraints as Tea fumbles with her words, "No! I'm okay! You just surprised me is all. Who are you?"

Kisara beams and holds out her hand to shake, "I'm Kisara!" The others join them as she introduces herself, "You may recognize me from Duelist Kingdom."

Tea's face shows realization, "Oh yeah!"

Kisara's eyes dart to Seto. "I'd love to catch up more. But I have to check on your friends." She turns away from her and toward Seto, "What is the situation?"

Seto replies all business, "Wheeler was mind controlled. They are chained to anchors that will sink in the water and whoever wins, get's their key to unlock themselves."

Kisara glares at the rare hunter, "That is cruel." He tries to put on a brave face as she steps closer, "Is your master going to join us later?" He struggles for answer as Yu-Gi sacrifices himself to save Joey. Everyone watches in shock as Yu-Gi dives into the water. Joey dives in after him to unlock his key. He lifts Yu-Gi to the surface before he can drown. Joey starts to twist in the water due to the lack of oxygen as Serenity dives in after him with the key. She takes a long time to come up for air. Kisara wastes no time and dives after her. Her and Joey are about to pass out underwater when she reaches them. She puts an arm around them both and straightens while the water around her rapidly swirls. She pushes off the movement, shoots out of the water and lands on the pier. She is holding both but transfers Joey to Tristan. Kisara starts to lower Serenity and administer CPR. She coughs up water and looks at Kisara trying to get her bearings. Kisara runs triage and starts to ask her basic questions to ensure she was healthy.

Serenity looks at her touched, "Thank you. I think I'm alright."

Kisara gives her a big smile, "Great! You just let me know if you need help, okay?" Seto and Mokuba run to Kisara. She is helping Serenity to her feet. They are both dripping and shivering.

Seto reaches Kisara's arm, "Are you okay?"

She replies shivering but light heartedly, "I'm good!" She takes off her jacket and twists it to ring out the water. She turns to everyone else, "Is everyone else good?"

They all agree as Seto takes off his jacket and waves it in her face to get her attention. The gang watches dumbfounded. Many have not seen him without it. Finally noticing his gesture, she takes it blushing. She puts it on and pulls it closer around her to stay warm. She asks commandingly, "Does anyone have serious injuries?" They shake their heads while Seto glances at the gang.

He says loudly in front of them, "Good, let's get out of here now that the geeks are reunited."

She gives him a stern look while everyone else looks offended, "That's mean!" The gang watches astounded how she can silence Seto so quickly.

Yu-Gi suddenly recognizes her, "Hey! You are that girl from Duelist kingdom!" She turns, first eyeing the Millennium Puzzle, then looks him in the eye innocently, "The girl that Seto saved!"

She smiles warmly, "Yes! I heard you were there; I obviously don't remember." She chuckles.

Seto taps her shoulder repeatedly, "We need to go."

She gives him a strong headed look and starts to ring out her hair, "I just got the rest of the city under control! We can stay for a bit; it is rude to suddenly leave! I just met them properly." Seto folds his arms and obediently takes a step behind her. Everyone watches in shock while he remains quiet. "I'm Kisara! Nice to meet you Yu-Gi! What are all your names?" She gestures to everyone else.

They introduce themselves and then Tea talks to Kisara, "No offense but, how are you really nice?"

Kisara smiles confused, "Uh, what do you mean? Why would I be offended by that?"

Joey chimes in eyeing her Kaiba Corp gear, "It's just that since you work with Kaiba here, I planned for the worst and hoped for the best."

She looks at Seto mockingly while his cold expression remains the same, "Kaiba huh?" She wasn't used to calling him by his last name, "Is he really that much of a grump?"

Tristan replies as Yu-Gi and Joey approach each other, "Grump is the nicest way to put it."

She crosses her arms and smiles satisfied, "Well I hate to break it to you, but I don't just work for him. I'm also his best friend." The others look at her stupefied. Surprised by their gaze, she glances at Seto who nods, silently agreeing. She looks back confident and grins. "Yup! Best friend! Right here! I can see by your faces that it's shocking, which is fair." Seto glares at her while she eyes him grinning.

Mokuba jumps forward exclaiming, "Sorry we were late! The rare hunters were wreaking havoc on the city, so Kisara and I took care of it."

Kisara ruffles his hair, "That is right! We appreciate your patience! It took us a while to get here. Marik has a lot of men but, now most are in jail!" The reunions continue as Yu-Gi and Joey talk about their friendship. They talk about possibly losing each other's friendship. Seto rolls his eyes and hates that Kisara made them stay. Kisara whispers to Seto, "Are they serious?" Seto nods. She starts to back up, "Just back up slowly and quietly." They follow her lead and make it out of ear shot. Seto looks at her confused. She was always very nice and understanding. He wasn't sure why she pulled them away until she says, "That was so cheesy."

Seto gives her a judging look, "I tried to tell you."

"You did." She agrees. "Those guys are really annoying, huh?"

He chuckles surprised by her forwardness, "I'm relieved you feel the same."

They both laugh while Mokuba glares, "Hey! They are nice!"

Kisara replies apologetically, "Sorry Mokuba. I guess your brother and I aren't used to, uh," She looks at Seto for help, "How would you put it?"

"We aren't pathetic." Kisara cracks up while Mokuba gives them an angry look.

Kisara continues to chuckle while attempting to clarify, "Okay no, he means we aren't as gushy as they are. I personally prefer to express myself with my fists and your brother, well you already know about him. I don't have to tell you." She looks at Seto, "I have to say, I was surprised at first. I've seen you with your employees and you are always very… forward."

"You could say that." He agrees. He knows others call it being cruel and unrelenting. The only thing he knows, is it gets results.

"But I didn't realize you were like that with everyone!" For a moment he is regretful.

{Does she not like it? No, I don't have to explain myself. Even to her.} He fires back, his words laced with venom, "Well, why are you so nice to people all the time?"

His poisonous tone goes above her head, and she replies honestly, "Probably for the same reason you are mean to people."

They turn a corner and walk down a main street, "And why is that?" He asks genuinely. He thought she was upset by his words like everyone else, but now he was confused.

Mokuba skips ahead of them while she answers, "It's because they usually do what I ask!" she replies folding her arms in satisfaction.

"Really?"

"Did you know Haru brings me a muffin every day? I don't tell him to do it! He just does it because he is so grateful he doesn't have to report to you anymore!" She laughs while he frowns, "I guess, that means you should get the credit huh?" He grunts, "Maybe it is best we work together. That way we can keep people on their toes while still getting what we want." She talks ahead and looks over her shoulder. Seto gazes at her smile and his heart swells with affection, "Give them a combo!"

Despite how he feels on the inside, he only gives a small smirk and says, "I like that."

Let the Finals Begin-

Kisara joined Seto and Mokuba for the rest of the day. The rare hunters had stopped posing as a threat and she honestly wanted to spend more time with them. She watched Seto's next duels in awe. She had dueled him before for fun, but he was different in a competition. He would rip on his opponents and make them feel small. Many thought Seto was a jerk and had issues, but Kisara was also damaged. She liked seeing him at his worst because she knew she could match him. Truthfully, she was more evil that how people saw Seto. It's funny because if you are on his good side like Kisara, he was kind hearted. By the end of the night, Seto has earned all 6 locator cards. They arrive at the under construction duel dome. Roland, Al, and a small team of security wait for them there. They collect Seto's cards and he waits outside to see the competition. Soon, Yu-Gi, Mai, and Joey walk into the stadium with the whole gang. The guards take their locator cards to register them for the finals. Kisara waves as Seto watches. "You don't have to wave to those dorks."

She starts to crack up uncontrollably. Seto thinks it's odd, but she has been listening to his banter all night. This is just the cherry on top. Seto cracks a smile while watching her, "Oh god, now you called them dorks. That is too much!" He watches her laugh and break her focus. She lightly slaps his arm repeatedly, "Quit it! I don't want them to see me laugh." He chuckles too while Mokuba joins. Next, Namu walks in, along with Bakura next. The Kaibas (including Kisara) eye each person seriously. They intimidate a couple people, but not Bakura.

{Interesting...} he thinks, {They are reunited, like in the past. I wonder if she knows the fate of her past life.} Odion walks into the stadium next. He introduces himself as Mark.

Kisara thinks, {I recognize him! That isn't Marik. That is the cult boy I saved in Egypt. What was his name again? Odion.} Kisara steps in his path, "Wait a minute." He looks at her terrified, with recognition on his face. Everyone sees including Seto who narrows his eyes, "We need to talk," She gestures to the side, "now." The real Marik looks up at her, not recognizing her like Odion.

He speaks to Odion in his mind, {What are you doing Odion? Maintain your cover.}

Odion straightens, "Here are my locator cards." She gets close with his height towering over her.

Her voice gets dark, "I said we need to talk." She pulls him to the side walking toward the blimp. He follows willingly to everyone's surprise. They expected him to be a cruel man, but Kisara is able to pull him aside on her own.

She leans so her men don't hear, "Is there something you want to tell me? Odion?"

He looks at her shocked. He didn't know she knew his name despite their history, "I-I don't know what you are talking about."

"I think you do." She replies laser focused. "I will have to report this to the boss first." She gestures to Seto as her eyes flash, "But you better watch yourself."

{Odion, who is that woman?} Marik asks in Odion's head.

Odion turns to Kisara, "I didn't realize the great dragon had a master." She reaches out her hand and grips it around his chest. He gasps for air while she twists his skin painfully.

She whispers while lighting tapping a spot on his chest with her other hand, "Right here; Is where your heart is, right behind your rip cage." He grunts in pain quietly, "The fact you aren't screaming means you are doing the same thing as me and want to keep our past under wraps. This includes my identity." She twists harder while Odion tries to grip his chest, "I have no master, but I don't intend to reveal any secrets either. You should know better than to run your mouth. You have seen first hand, what I can do." She twists more as he struggles to hold back his screams. His breathing and grunting is heavy. "I think you will keep my secret, right? Maybe you can reveal to me who the actual Marik is in return." She releases him while others look at them confused. From their view, it looks like she jumped away from him.

"Never." He hisses. He boards the blimp while everyone watches him go. Suddenly a blimp appears everyone's heads. It lands as Seto reveals its the location for the battle city finals. Everyone boards the blimp together. Kisara hangs back with Mokuba and Seto. She turns to them with a grave expression on her face.

"What is it?" Seto can already tell she has something to say.

She walks closer so no one else can hear, "That isn't Marik."

He looks at her in shock, "What?"

"I know him. I saved him one time in Egypt." She huffs angrily, "I guess this is how he repays me."

"Why didn't you call him out?"

She gives him an evil grin, "I wanted to check with you. I didn't know if you wanted to share. We can just keep it between us. Keeping our cards hidden with the option of threatening him if needed. I feel like Mark is among these contestants, but it isn't him."

Seto matches her grin, "I love the way you think."

Kisara tries to maintain her expression after hearing him say the word 'love' in general.

Tilt of the Scales-

The first to duel in the finals is Yu-Gi and Bakura. He reveals himself to be evil Bakura. The others are shocked while Kisara watches him closely. {Is that the Bakura from my past life?} She narrows her eyes, {We can't trust him.} Seto chooses not the watch the duel. He invites Kisara to join him, but she chooses to monitor the duel. Seto frowns, but understands it's her job and leaves her. Bakura traps Yami in the shadow realm. Kisara is trapped with them, but she knows she can escape. She finds the right time, well within the duel to fade into the background and turn invisible. She jumps over the blimp railing and slides toward one of the boundaries of the shadow realm. She lights up her hand and pierces through the boundary. She glances down to ensure the back balcony is ready to catch her when she slides. She squats and places one foot in front of the other, balancing while sliding down the side of the blimp. She lands successfully and walks inside while turning back to normal.

Inside his room, Seto sits on a couch and is looking at his deck spread across the table. He has a sudden feeling. He can't describe it, but he has an itch to check the hallway. He walks to the door and opens it. He catches Kisara frozen in the hallway at the sight of him. In her hand, is the Millennium scale. Seto recognizes the eye symbol from Yu-Gi's puzzle and points at it. "Why do you have that? Weren't you watching the duel?"

She sucks in air through her teeth, "You caught me. I'm going to-" She pauses, "Actually it's none of your business!"

He raises an eyebrow at her amused, "Really? How about the fact that I'm your boss." To everyone else this would seem like a threat. But to Kisara, she just waves it off with the scales violently clanging with each swing.

Her tone is crazed as she nags him, "No! You hired me to handle this for you. I know you won't care about this magic stuff so I'm gatekeeping." She peeks behind him to see the cards on the coffee table of his room, "Besides you need to prepare. Go back to being a badass duelist that doesn't care about the Egyptian magic stuff." She doesn't wait for his reply and stomps down the hallway. He watches her go, touched by her outburst because no one else could speak to him that way. He turns to go back to his preparation and closes the door.

Meanwhile, Kisara walks back to the back balcony. She turns to check for anyone and turns invisible with her clothes on. She flies in the sky right up to the barrier of the shadow realm. Wind blows around her and hits the barrier. She holds up the scales which are not invisible and starts to chant an ancient language. She opens her eyes in shock and sees a white light. She hears the voice of Horus,

My child. You do not need to use the scales.

The light fades and she drops the scales into the balcony below. It clumsily falls hard on the floor as she holds out her hands. A bright white light shows out of her palms and causes the shadow realm to blink in and out of existence.

Evil Bakura looks up at the sky and watches the eyes disappear, "What is happening?" The shadow realm finally disappears and her light fades.

She looks at her hands, {I've never been able to do something like this on my own. Something has definitely changed.} An image of Seto standing in his doorway comes to mind when thinking of a reason. She suddenly looks up surprised to see Joey Wheeler staring at her place in the sky. She is invisible so he can't see, but he looks right at her as she shrinks, hovering by the blimp.

"I could have sworn I saw something. Almost like it was invisible!"

Tea comments, "Hey! Can't Kisara turn invisible with their Kaiba Corp tech?"

Joey looks around, "Yeah! Where did Kisara go anyway?"

{Whoops. I can't give away that I did this, but how do I explain why I left?} She quickly returns besides the gang and makes herself visible, "I'm here!"

Joey jumps back, "Whoa!"

"Sorry! I was trying to see if I could get rid of the evil eyes and stuff."

Tea looks at her hopeful, "So did get rid of the shadow realm just now?"

Kisara shakes her head, "Oh no! I don't know what did that. I'm afraid it wasn't me." she lies. Bakura eyes her suspiciously, but returns to the duel ignoring his initial thoughts. Yu-Gi beats him and moves onto the finals.

A Duel with Destiny-

Seto's first duel in the finals is against the mysterious 8th duelist who has yet to reveal their identity. Kisara and Mokuba are in his room as he gathers his deck. "Are you excited big bro! You are going to kick butt!" Seto just grunts and makes for the door. Kisara and Mokuba both aren't offended by his abrupt tone and walk with him. Kisara feels a shiver down her spine and turns back around to face the room. She finds a card face down on the floor. She picks it up and gasps when she sees which one it is.

"Wait! Seto!" He turns to see her holding out his Blue Eyes White Dragon. "You almost forgot this!"

Seto takes it, "Thanks, but I have Obelisk. I don't even need this." He somehow feels guilt as Kisara watches him disapprovingly.

"Hey! This is the Blue Eyes White Dragon! There are only 3 in existence and they are one of the original duel monsters used in ancient Egypt, so show it some respect!" She shoves the card in his hand and abruptly walks out his room.

Dazed, Seto shortly catches up to her. He gently grabs her arm and pulls her back, "I'm sorry." He lifts his head to give a taunting look, "I didn't know you cared so much about the Blue Eyes White Dragon?

Her thoughts race while trying to come up with a reason, "Let's just say the card and I have history."

"How?"

She walks up to the rooftop elevator while the boys follow, "It reminds me of you!" Kisara and Seto walk into the elevator when it arrives. Mokuba is about to step on, but he is blocked by Seto.

"After Marik's duel, I want the text on the Winged Dragon of Ra to be translated."

Mokuba huffs and points to Kisara, "Well she studied ancient Egypt! Why can't she do it?"

Seto replies for her, "She has to monitor security for a little. Just start working on the translation."

Mokuba gives him an angry look so Kisara kneels down to his height, "If there are no shadow monsters or creeps with porcupine hair (Marik) I'll come down and switch. I promise! But Seto is right, we should just go up first." Mokuba begrudgingly nods his head and walks away towards a research room. The doors close in front of them and they stand silently in the elevator. Seto purposefully only wanted Kisara with him. He knows she would understand why he is doing everything without having to say. He is correct. Kisara wants to scope the area before Mokuba joins and knows Seto needs silence to prepare. They glance at each other in the elevator for a moment. Seto makes eye contact first. She gives him an approving smile and he returns it. He wasn't used to preparing for duels with other people, but with Kisara it felt right. When they arrive on the top floor, Seto walks up to the platform while Kisara does a quick sweep of the area. Soon she stands on Seto's side on the bottom floor beside the dueling platform and they wait for the others to arrive. She gives him a thumbs up from the sidelines as he gives her a small smile.

Yami Yu-Gi and the gang arrive to the platform next. Kisara stares at Yami, menacingly. He catches her gaze about to greet her, but then catches her expression and shrinks away. Instead, he asks Seto if they can turn around to get Mai a doctor. Mai went up against Namu who turned out to be the real Marik. She lost and lost her mind too which was banished to the shadow realm. Kisara knew she could save her, but she had to do it without raising suspicion. Each time she visited Mai, she had other visitors who couldn't see what she had to do. Seto refuses the gang and Kisara thinks to herself, {I think I can save Mai on my own with the Millennium scales. After I watch a little of Seto's duel, I'll trade with Mokuba and see if it works while down there. I already know what the inscription says anyway. First, I need to stay and see who this mysterious duelist is.} She looks over to Marik, {It wouldn't hurt to keep an eye on crazy hair over there either.}

The mysterious duelist arrives fashionably late. Seto keeps insulting them for being late. Kisara eyes them discerningly, {They look familiar.} The duelist removes their head cover and reveals to be Ishizu. Kisara's eyes turn deadly as Roland asks Ishizu her name. She opens her mouth to reply but Kisara steps forward, "Her name is Ishizu Ishtar." Seto, Yu-Gi, and Tea are shocked at seeing Ishizu, and Ishizu is paralyzed to see Kisara. She boarded the blimp late and skipped when drawing the next duelist match ups so this is the first time she's seen her. She regretted this now.

Tea says, "Hey Yu-Gi, is that the woman we saw at the museum?"

Yami Yu-Gi agrees, "Yes, but how does Kisara know her?" Kisara continues to stare at Ishizu while she explains.

Seto moves on, "This is quite a surprise." He says referring to Ishizu. Kisara glares at his recognition, furious he didn't tell her. Ishizu explains and says she is here for a greater cause, her brother.

Kisara steps forward again pointing at her, "Don't say another word." Ishizu's poker face breaks and she looks frightened of Kisara.

"I-I didn't know you would be here. I don't want to offend you. Please, I don't want to anger you great dragon-"

"I said, don't say another word." Kisara replies. She gives Ishizu a look of pure hatred. She looks like she could kill her. Everyone looks at them stunned, while Seto watches proud and confused. Ishizu looks in horror, "Is your brother Marik?" Seto and Yu-Gi looked at her surprised. "So, you are telling me, you gave Seto Obelisk the Tormentor so you can have a little 'family reunion'? To lure Marik here and his rare card hunters with the prospect of a prize?" Looking angry she takes one jump and hops onto the platform. Seto is surprised she figured out Ishizu's plan so easily. He isn't sure why. She approaches Ishizu and says in a low, dangerous tone, "I believe you promised to stay away from him." Only Seto hears what she says from the opposite site of the dueling platform. He smiles becoming intrigued. Kisara then turns around to everyone, "This duel will go on, but after, you have to pay me a visit." She points at Ishizu and then jumps down from the arena.

Joey looks at her scared, "Wow! I thought she seemed nice, but no one piss her off!" Roland continues to kick off the duel.

Halfway through, Ishizu has proven herself to be a worthy opponent. Seto looks over and Kisara is gone, he just lost life points to Ishizu. Suddenly Mokuba comes out of the elevators. Seto asks if he has the translation yet and Mokuba tells him he couldn't translate the last line. Ishizu tells him to make his move, and he replies coldly he will when he is ready. Meanwhile, down in the blimp, Kisara is sprinting down the hallway. She opens the door to Mai's room and finds Serenity there. "Oh, hello!" She huffs and puffs, "Serenity, right? You caught me off guard there." She walks closer to Mai and

Serenity looks at her warily, "Why are you here?"

Kisara freezes, {Shit I can't really do anything with her here.} "I'm here to help Mai! I wanted to check her out and see if she is doing okay. If it's okay, can you step out?"

Serenity looks at her, "Listen I'm not going anywhere. I-I'm trying to be more assertive, and I like that you are assertive too." She builds up the courage and points at her meekly, "I'M NOT LEAVING!"

Kisara looks at her, {That is so cool I inspired her. I'm almost proud except for the fact I've only met her once before. But we are wasting time. Fuck it! I'll just keep trusting random people, Mai can't stay in the Shadow Realm forever.} "Look Serenity that is awesome and I am all about you sticking up for yourself, so I'll let you stay. But you can't tell anyone what you see here."

Serenity asks, "So if I do tell someone, wh-what are you going to do?" Kisara walks up to Mai's bed and hovers her hand right above her face.

"I guess I'll just trust you. I'm not going to hurt you or anything. I just don't want to Mai to be like this anymore." Serenity watches her has her palms start to glow. They keep getting brighter and brighter until it goes out. Kisara falls over on the bed.

Serenity tries to pull her up, "Kisara! Are you okay?"

{Oop okay. Good to know. Healing physical wounds and burning the shadow realm away don't use up my energy. But bringing someone back from the shadow realm takes up my energy.}

"Serenity? Kisara?" Both girls look at Mai to see she is now awake. "Where am I? Is this real?"

Kisara struggles but gets up, "Yes, don't worry. You are okay now. I got you out of the shadow realm."

Serenity, "How did you do that?"

Kisara sighs, "First, Mai are you okay? I'm going to take your vitals if that is okay." Mai nods.

Upstairs, Seto sees a vision of him in ancient Egypt. A figure that looks like him is dueling an ancient version of Yami. He is adorned in gold and jewels, obviously appearing as a powerful Pharaoh. Present Seto watches in shock while the ancient version of him speaks, "You will pay for what you have done Pharoah."

Yami across from him laughs evilly, "Prepare to face your fate, Seto." Seto is immediately brought back to the present. He glances at Yami who also appears to have been shown the vision too. Seto shakes off his doubts and continues the duel. Instead of playing Obelisk, he draws a card and sees it is the Blue Eyes White Dragon.

He remembers Kisara's words, "Show it some respect!" He chooses to play it instead of Obelisk the Tormentor. This move was something Ishizu could not see even with her Millennium Necklace. She is shocked as she loses the rest of her life points and Seto taunts her.

Downstairs, Kisara is sitting with Mai and Serenity. She is trying to convince the girls to keep her secret. They listen attentively, "So, I was going to ask you if you could keep this to yourself. I don't really want Seto knowing this, or anyone really. I have a history with this magic stuff, but I want to live a different life now. I would do anything to help another person, but I want to keep this under wraps, it might best to keep my talents hidden among this crowd." She thinks of Bakura and Marik.

Mai nods, "If that is the only thing you want in return for saving my life, sounds good!"

Serenity puts a hand on her shoulder, "It's okay! You can count on us! We are glad to have you in our corner."

Kisara smiles, "Thank you. Serenity was giving me a tough time, but I didn't want to waste any more time before saving you. Thank you for keeping this secret."

Mai asks, "You really don't want to tell Seto?"

Kisara shakes her head, "Definitely."

The Winged Dragon of Ra-

After his win, Seto goes back down into the blimp with Mokuba. They walk into one of the computer rooms Mokuba was working out of. He pulls up a photo of the Winged Dragon of Ra along with his translation notes

Seto asks, "Mokuba, were you able to finish the translation for the Winged Dragon of Ra?"

Kisara suddenly appears in the doorway, "Hey! I heard you from down the hall. You should really close the door first." She closes the door and looks at Seto, "I figured it out for you. Mokuba did most of the leg work." Seto suddenly gets terrified. When he looked at the card, he can read the description on his own. Kisara looks at Seto and sees the shock on his face, "What's wrong?"

Mokuba looks in worry, "What's up bro?"

Seto just stares at the card reading every line in shock when Kisara sees what he is looking at. {There is no way! I don't know what to do! How can I read this?}

She steps in front of the image, "So, you can read it huh?" He snaps out of it and gawks at her guess.

"How did you know that?" She glances at Mokuba debating whether he should hear what she has to say.

"Hey! Don't you dare leave me out of this!" Mokuba yells, reading her thoughts.

She sighs speaking to Seto, "Okay so just to confirm, you think all this Egyptian shit is fake right? Even though our holograms somehow had a mind of their own and all these people were 'banished to a shadow realm'? As the general 'we', we are ignoring all the magic stuff?"

Seto thinks for a second, then stubbornly says, "Yes. Why? Do you believe in that mumbo jumbo?"

Kisara replies immediately trying to move on, "It doesn't matter what I believe. This is about you, and as your security, cyber security, and research head I have investigated this 'mumbo jumbo' because it poses a threat to you and Mokuba. The truth is you have a substantial stake in that world. They may think you are at a disadvantage because you don't believe in this shit," she gestures at the picture, "but actually, you are at an advantage. You are focused on what is in front of you, not what the past dictates." She walks towards him and puts both her hands on his shoulders. He starts to register what she is saying, "They will underestimate you while you continue to benefit from your determination, skill, and history. You can read this because of one of those benefits, okay? You have an ancestry that is well versed in the ancient Egyptian scripts. That is why you can read it, it's normal."

"I see what you are saying but it is not normal. I'm not my ancestor." She leans in further, causing his heart to race.

She keeps her hands on his shoulders and says, "Let me rephrase that, it's not normal, but you aren't alone." Seto looks at her shocked. "How do you think I knew why you were freaking out?" She backs up from him quickly to look at the image.

"What?!" he exclaims, "you can read it too?"

"Great beast of the sky, please hear my cry.

Transform thyself from orb of light and bring me victory in this fight.

Envelop the desert with your glow and cast your rage upon my foe.

Unlock your powers deep within so that together we may win.

Appear in this Shadow Game as I call your name,

Winged Dragon of Ra!"

She finishes with a wave of her hand. Seto and Mokuba look at her astonished. "Look, if you don't want to know the 'mumbo jumbo' I will support you. I can keep that from you, so you aren't distracted from your goal. But you should know you are one of the only people in the world who can wield those cards. That is why Ishizu gave you Obelisk, so you can carry out her little family reunion." Her tone lowers, "I wish you would have told be about her when I asked, because I could have helped. I have worked with her before, and she comes from a nutcase family." She sighs, "Sorry I'm getting carried away. Bottom line is you don't have to be afraid. The fact you can read it is a good thing and I can tell you if anything is bad or dangerous in the future regarding ancient Egypt. Most important thing of all, Mokuba & I are here for you."

Mokuba stands up, "Yeah!"

As Seto smiles, Kisara continues to lecture, "Don't get freaked out now that you can read something that is going to help you! We got you; it will be okay." Seto goes back in his mind and thinks of when he said the same thing to her.

"Okay"

Stories of Egypt-

Later that night, Kisara is in her room alone. She stands at a desk with five different screens open in front of her each with different camera feeds. She turns away from them and stares at the couches in her room. She closes her eyes and thinks to herself, {Can we talk? I know you said you would keep your distance, but I'm confused.}

What is it my child?

She opens her eyes shocked. No one is in the room, but she continues to talk back in her head, {My power, it's changed. How is it more powerful?}

I think you already know the answer to that question.

She exhales loudly, {But how can spending time with Seto cause my power to grow?}

It means you have finally found your family. When you are connected to others, your power grows.

{What does that even mean?} She kicks the desk frustrated. {I don't understand.}

This is a two way street. The fact that your power is growing means he has a vast amount of respect for you. He feels the same.

{Wait. How does he feel exactly.}

Horus' deep voice chuckles loudly, I think I'll let you figure that one out.

{Don't you dare! Hello?} Horus no longer responds no matter how much she thinks. Kisara throws her hands in the air, "Ugh, just tell me what is going on!" One of the screens behind her beeps. She checks the camera right outside her door. She sees Seto standing in front of her door, and pausing first before he knocks. He heard her yelling inside which causes her to roll her eyes, "Great job Kisara. Wait to appear normal." After he knocks he hears her call inside, "Come in Seto." He walks in and sees the screens.

"Well, that explains how you knew who was at the door. Is everything okay? I heard you yell something?"

She waves off his worry, "It's nothing. What is up?" She asks cheerfully. He takes a seat across from her on one of the couches.

"I heard you helped that Mai girl."

Kisara smiles, "Ah yes, I was hoping no one knew it was me." She scratches the back of her head nervously, "I'm just glad she is back to normal now."

Seto smiles in his seat, "I'm glad you can shut up Yu-Gi and his pals since they claimed she was in some 'shadow realm'."

Kisara fakes her smile, and lies, "Yes! All bullshit! I was able to help her with some basic lifesaving training."

"I also wanted to ask you; how do you know Ishizu?"

Kisara's eyes go narrow, and her voice gets serious, "I've worked with her in the artifacts game. She owns a lot for her own personal collection which it looks like she decided to open to the public at the Domino Museum."

"So, why did you tell her to stay away from me?" Kisara looks at him shocked that he heard but maintains the cool expression on her face. She doesn't fool Seto, as he leans forward in his seat and smiles teasing her.

"You heard that huh?" Seto nods. She sighs, "She told me long time ago that she knew where you were, but she lied." Kisara is thinking back on how it started.

Tomb Keepers-

Kisara is 16 and living in Egypt. She walks to her spare room after returning from her digging expedition and is removing her work clothes. She puts on a fresh set of clothes and wraps a scarf around her head to cover her face. She reaches into her desk drawer and takes out a folded-up map. She opens it and sees 6 Xs marked. {Okay, after cross referencing the scripts I have found, the clue to what I've been searching for should be in one of these locations.} She puts the map in a cross-body bag along with a small laptop, notepad & pen. She puts sunglasses on her face causing her whole face to be covered. {I'm done with work and done with training, so I finally have some time to check it out!} She opens the door, walks through, locking the door behind her. She walks in the small town she is staying in and wraps around a building nearby. Out of sight she inhales and exhales. She pulls out the map and chooses an X on the map. {Okay, time to try out my training.} She makes sure no one is around, then points her finger at the wall in the building. She walks into the wall then emerges in the middle of the desert. She takes out her laptop and pulls up satellite imagery. She takes out the map and confirms she is at one of the places she marked. {Yes! I rule! I fucking nailed it! Ramses would be proud!} She pumps her fist in the air excited, but suddenly she hears something behind her. Without hesitating she turns around and makes a ready stance. She sees the only person behind her is a girl. She looks to be the same age as Kisara and she winces to Kisara's quick movement. "Oh sorry! I didn't realize who was behind me. My name is Kisara!" She removes her head scarf and holds out her hand to the girl who takes it.

"My name is Ishizu."

Kisara smiles, "Have you seen any ancient ruins around here? I'm looking for relics on a digging expedition."

"All alone?"

Kisara scratches the back of her head, "I guess this is my free time digging." She laughs nervously. She realizes that Ishizu is staring at her shocked. "Is everything okay?"

Ishizu snaps out of it and replies, "Sorry, but I think I know what you are looking for."

After some walking, Ishizu leads Kisara to an opening in the ground. Kisara cautiously follows her while keeping an eye on her surroundings. Ishizu appears to be hiding too. "Why are we sneaking around?"

Ishizu holds a finger up to her mouth, "Shh! This is where I live. My father cannot know you are here. I think you deserve to know."

"Know what?" Ishizu gestures to a room opening. Kisara stares at an ancient tablet on the wall, carved out of stone. She gawks at a carving that clearly resembles herself. {That must be me, I have never met anyone that has my color hair besides the figure in this image.} Holding her in the carving is a man. Despite the 2D drawing, the man looks familiar. Above him, is an obvious carving of the Blue Eyes White Dragon. She points at the man, "Who is that? He looks familiar." Ishizu looks at her not saying a word. Kisara suddenly recognizes the figure, "Is-Is that Seto?" Ishizu looks at her surprised, then turns her head away not saying anything. Kisara's eyes start to glow blue, "You know something." She grabs Ishizu and while she tries to pull away. "Where is he?" Her voice gets darker, and her hair starts to float in the air.

Ishizu looks at her afraid. "I-I don't know. I swear!"

"She is lying great dragon." Kisara keeps hold of Ishizu but jolts her head up to look at the doorway, her hair starts to glow blue. Walking toward them is an old man. One of his eyes are normal but the other is the Millenium Eye. "I don't think you want to hurt my daughter, or else you may never see him again." Kisara drops Ishizu and walks toward the man, matching his pace.

Her voice sounds distorted, and the tips of her fingers start to sharpen and turn blue. "You think you can threaten me, old man?" Her body twitches as if holding back a greater power.

He looks, discerning her, "You are just like your past life. Hopeless with your powers unchecked." Her hair grows longer, and her fingers turn into claws. She tilts her head interested as she continues to listen. "That is right, I know about your past life. If you want to learn more, you will stay here and serve me. Or else all that you desire will be burned to ash." She chuckles at Ishizu's father. She then starts breathing, with each breath she gets smaller and more normal.

"I don't think you know who are dealing with. I'm not some kid that is going to obey your word like your daughter here. I am learning how to control my anger and my gifts, so I suggest you don't taunt me." She leans close to the man, "My anger my win, and if that happens, you won't be standing there for much longer." She then kicks up the sand in the room toward him. He covers his eyes and coughs. He waves to clear his vision and sees that Kisara is no longer there. He turns to Ishizu angry.

"Now look what you have done! You brought the great dragon here. What were you thinking?" Ishizu looks at her father shocked.

Meanwhile, Kisara falls from the ceiling of her spare room and falls on the floor hard. She groans and slowly turns on her back, {I couldn't have landed on the bed?} She sits up with her back against the bed. She walks out of her spare room and around the connected main building to the entrance. She knocks on the door twice and enters. Several men and women are training in circles drawn on the ground 6 feet apart. Some of them twist and strike while sparks appear at the end of their hands. Other wield the sparks and shoot them at nearby targets. Kisara walks to the end of the hall where stairs lead to a tall platform watching over everyone. A man stands on this platform and is turning away from the stairs at Kisara walks up them. He is looking at a wall of stone tablets like the one Kisara found. One shows the Pharoah and the other an evil being. Kisara arrives behind the man, "Hi master!"

He turns and smiles, "Where have you been?"

She walks next to him, "I think I found a lead! I met a girl who took me underground to her nutcase family. They had tablets with images of me and my friend Seto."

He turns around, "You know Seto?"

She nods, "Yes, I guess you knew about our past lives already. Why didn't you tell me? I came here looking for answers when I first saw evidence of his past life in college."

He turns back to the tablets, "I would have told you, but I didn't know you met him already. How long have you known him?"

"We grew up at the orphanage together."

He places a hand under his chin while he ponders, "Interesting, your past lives also met when they were young."

He keeps thinking while Kisara asks, "I want to get those tablets and bring them back here. Maybe keep them." The man nods agreeing, "They belong here instead of with those crazy people."

"They are called Tomb Keepers."

"So, you know them."

"Yes" He doesn't say more.

"Used to be one of them?"

He looks at her and smiles, "Nothing gets past you. I left for obvious reasons."

"Yeah, the dad kindly blackmailed me and tried to get me to stay."

"Like I said, obvious reasons."

"I'm going back."

"This is an instance where you have to kill. They won't let you escape alive."

She thinks, "I-I don't want to kill anyone."

He starts to walk down the stairs while she follows, "I know, but most deserve it. Especially him. I would be just to snuff him out."

"Understood, Ramses."

The man turns around to her, "Train first, then go."

She nods and walks back to an open training circle.

Young Kisara waits two weeks before visiting the Tomb Keepers again. When she arrives, Mr. Ishtar is punishing Odion because Marik and Ishizu snuck out. "You are supposed to protect him Odion!" Kisara kicks down the doors to the room they stand in. She is wearing a cropped brown vest with a white short-sleeved button-down shirt. She has on grey trousers and is carrying two sticks on her hands. On the end of each stick is a straight blade covered with blood. She has fresh blood splatters on her face which she wipes upon looking at everyone in the room. She sees Odion in the middle of the room injured. She walks towards him ignoring everyone else around her. She sheathes one of her blades and offers him that free hand. "This is none of your concern dragon." Mr. Ishtar hisses.

She helps lift him to his feet as he struggles to stand, "I almost felt bad for killing everyone outside. But weirdly, it looks like I'm not the cruelest one here." Mr. Ishtar looks at her in horror.

"You did, what?" He asks.

She gestures to the blood on her face and the weapon. "Obviously! Do you think you could try to trick me into slavery and get away with it? You think you can hold on and threaten me with the knowledge I am entitled to?" She takes a step forward while he winces. "It is obvious now that you are a snake, not fit for your stupid title or the family you were blessed with. I think the universe deserves to be balanced." She lunges at him as he tries to run but gets a blade caught in his back. She turns to the rest of his followers, who watched Odion be punished. "You're next." Kisara exits the room a couple minutes later and leaves several bodies behind her. She walks back to the room with the stone tablets including her and Seto thinking, {Mine.}

Ishizu and Marik return to their home from their outing to find the door has been ripped off. She runs and screams, "Oh no!" Both her and Marik run. They see people slumped in the initial hallway with blood splatter on the walls. More and more bodies lay lifeless as they reach the main room. In the center of the room is an injured Odion.

Marik runs, "Odion!" He lifts his head and starts to get up.

Ishizu asks, "Are you alright?"

Odion replies, "Yes, she didn't get me."

Ishizu asks, "Who?"

Odion struggles to say, "The great dragon."

Great Dragon-

Back to the present in Kisara's room, she is speaking to Seto. "After I got away, I paid them another visit. I got my payback, and I told her to stay away from you for now on." Her eyes start to glow white, and she turns around suddenly back to her screens, "But she broke that promise." Seto startled by her glowing eyes gets up from his seat and tries to turn her around to see. When she turns, her eyes are back to normal. "What is it?" she asks innocently.

"N-Nothing, I thought I saw something. Why did she call you… a dragon?" Kisara's eyes widen, "or was it the 'great dragon'?" He asks smiling.

Kisara rolls her eyes, "Maybe…. It was…. The great dragon."

Seto still smiling, "So, are you going to tell me?"

She sighs, "Let's just say I have a reputation. They fear me, and they should."

Seto chuckles, "I'd say! Ishizu practically jumped out of her skin when she saw you were mad."

Kisara glances at Seto, "I'm glad you think it's funny."

Sensing her embarrassment, he piles it on, "I think that should be your new call sign. I like the name 'Dragon' for you."

She throws her hands up in the air, "In that case, change Mokuba's to White so when we are all together, we can be Blue Eyes, White, Dragon."

"… I like it!" Steam starts to come out of Kisara's ears. "I like it because dragons are hard to tame. I'd imagine at least, and you work for me." He walks up to her while she is caught off guard, "That means, you are my dragon."

She looks at him judging, "So you think I'm just an object, to own?" He gets closer to her.

She tries to take a step back, but she hits the desk behind her, "No, Kisara you are much more than an object. You are fair, kind, and ferocious if someone crosses you." He continues to move closer, pinning her to the desk. She has nowhere to go while he leans down to meet her height, "You also protect others especially me and Mokuba so that makes you, my dragon." He leans even closer being inches away from her face, "Do you agree?"

Kisara blushes, "Um, yes I guess so."

"You guess so?"

Kisara tries to look away from him. She struggles to say the words as he gets closer, "I-I like it."

He pulls her face toward him by cupping her cheek, "Good." His voice gets darker and more intimate, "My Dragon." He continues leaning closer and closer to Kisara.

{Here we go again, I-I just want to give in. Just once.} One of her screens starts to beep. She turns around quickly happy to have a distraction. "Um, looks like someone is wandering around late tonight." Kisara leans over the desk while Seto follows her lead. He rests his head on her shoulder so he can get a better look. Kisara doesn't tell him to move. She blushes and types to enlarge one of the screens. She sees a video of Marik entering Odion's room. {I am not letting this person die after saving him once.} She turns to him, "I'm going."

Seto puts a hand on her shoulder, "Be careful." Kisara leaves and turns invisible in the hall. She walks to Odion's room to find Marik is watching over his sleeping body. He is talking to Yami Bakura/Good Marik. {I guess we have a showdown}

Bakura says, "I don't think you realize who you are dealing with, I am the darkness."
