Chapter 99: Emotional Storm
Lucifer and Lilith were giggling.
The small Leader of Hell was sitting in his wife's lap, tickling and kissing each other.

However, Lucifer heard something.
"Luci~" Lilith sensually whispered as her husband stopped. "What is…"

The somber, melancholic expression that he wore whenever he thought of Marchosias.
Ring of Wrath…
Karasuba quirked an eyebrow when she felt a sudden spike in Naruto's magic.
It suddenly surged, pushing the crow Sinner away.
"What is happening!" Striker shouted as Naruto's magic pushed him into a standing position.
Horns grew out of his forehead, curving upward then outward, his tail losing its fur as it grew scales, becoming a living snake, his shirt tearing open as two feathered wings ripped out of his back.
Naruto let out a fierce roar as his magic continued to swell.
Slowly the power surge calmed, Naruto standing in silence.
"Oh, fuck this shit…" Striker stated as he drew his Carmine gun, firing his entire clip at Naruto.
The bullets sped through the air as Naruto looked up.
A barrier was erected, protecting him from the bullets, which thumped into the ground.
"What?" Naruto questioned as he looked around at the barrier in confusion before he looked at his sheath. "Oh, right, the barrier of the sheath…"
Naruto pulled the sheathe from his belt, the barrier dissipating as he did, feeling sheathe pulsate in his hand.
"Tessaiga, come to me!" Naruto stated as he held out the sheath.
Tessaiga being pulled toward it, being grabbed by Naruto's left hand.
"Wait…" Karasuba mumbled, as Naruto then stabbed the sheath into the ground next to Verosika, the barrier covering her. "I… is that… the Madam's sword? How did he get that?"
"Don't worry, Verosika." Naruto whispered as he caressed her cheek with his left hand. "I'll take care of them."
He left the barrier, Tessaiga in his left hand being perched on his shoulder.
The air was tense.
Before the sweat drop could make it to his chin, Striker couldn't see Naruto grab him by the face, Tessaiga in his mouth, and then throw him as hard as he could, crashing through trees and bushes before skidding several dozens of feet into the ground.
Karasuba took a step back.
'What the fuck is this…' She questioned as she held her sword up, looking at Naruto's right hand. 'His right hand should be damaged beyond repair…'
Indeed, his hand was not healed, blood slowly dripping from his wounds.
Taking Tessaiga in his left, Naruto turned to Karasuba, his tail hissing as it swayed, facing the Crow down like a predator as he arched his left hand around himself.
"WIND SCAR!"
Karasuba swung her own sword, using her own projectile attack.
The attacks struck each other before cancelling each other out.
But Karasuba blocked Naruto's downward strike, her feet indenting the ground.
Fear and self-preservation.
These two things filled Karasuba's mind.
"HOW DO YOU HAVE THE MADAM'S SWORD!" Karasuba shouted, pushing back against Naruto has her humanoid form became more crow like.
"So, Kurama is behind this?" Naruto asked calmly, pushing down on the woman, making her take a knee.
'Oh, shit…' Karasuba thought when she realized she gave away her employer.
However, she didn't have time to fee regret when she winced.
Naruto's serpent tail had sunk its fangs into her calf, biting tightly.
Sweeping her foot out from under her, Naruto swung Karasuba up and then down into the ground.
Lifted her back up before creating more craters as he used his tail to Hulk her like she was Loki.
Naruto pivoted, flinging Karasuba into a tree.
Karasuba gasped when Naruto lunged forward, headbutting her chest, several ribs cracking as his horns pulverized the tree with her spine.
'I need to escape…' Karasuba thought in desperation as Naruto pulled back, letting her slump to the ground.
Magic channeled into her hand, Naruto reflexively held his sword defensively as Karasuba slammed her hand into the ground, creating a dust cloud.
Spreading her wings, Karasuba shot off from her spot, speeding away as fast as she could.
Her body was in agony.
It felt broken and on the brink of giving out as she fled.
'Okay, that should be enough…'
Karasuba was stopped she felt a presence above her.
She looked up to see Naruto had jumped above her.
With cold, precise movements, Naruto cleaved Karasuba's wing right off of her back.
Like Icarus before her, Karasuba spiraled to the ground, dropping her sword as she tried to regain a semblance of control.
Naruto, meanwhile, fell shortly after.
"WOAH, WOAH, WOAH!" He shouted as he did not think of how he was going to get down.
His wings opened, re-aligning Naruto.
'Wait… when did I get wings?' Naruto thought in surprise. 'That can be answered later.'
Gliding, not flying, Naruto made his way to the ground where Karasuba's body was embedded in the ground.
Naruto slowly made his way to the Sinner demon.
"No… NO…. NO!" Karasuba grumbled as she pushed herself up, covered in dirt and sweat. "When she said test you… I see why…"
"Why what?" Naruto demanded.
"I see why she wants you!" Karasuba spat, blood running down her lips. "You will be delicious for her…"
Naruto felt a chill down his spine.
"What does…"
Karasuba grabbed her wrist, specifically, her Day Pass.
"Wait, you're a Sinn…"
Naruto couldn't finish his sentence when Karasuba removed it.
As if she was a video game character, Karasuba's body began to glitch violently as she smiled.
"You beat me, but can you beat her?" Karasuba taunted as she victoriously began to laugh before she was torn from Wrath, vanishing.
Naruto released a sigh of relief, his tail returning to normal as his wings receded into his back as his horns shrank back into his forehead.
'So, I guess removing the Day Pass will force you out of the ring and send you back to Pride?' Naruto pondered as he slowly made his way to Verosika.
Sadly, he collapsed as his adrenaline ran dry, his hand reached out for Verosika as Stolas appeared.
"NARUTO, VEROSIKA!" Stolas shouted as he ran to them, grabbing his phone.
It rang once before Blitz answered it.
"Stolas…"
"BLITZ, GET THE CAR, NARUTO AND VEROSIKA ARE INJURED!"
Stolas sent coordinates and checked over the hound and succubus.
'Verosika seems to sustained a head injury… but Naruto…' Stolas thought as he did his best to calmly check and remain calm.
Not even five minutes passed before Blitz in his Hell-mer appeared.
ONLY Blitz and the car.
"Blitz, we got to go to Pride!"
"Why not Sloth! That's were the Hosp…"
"IT WILL TAKE TO LONG! NARUTO'S BLEEDING OUT, GET HIM TO RISER'S PLACE!" Stolas shouted as he used magic to slow the bleeding on Naruto as he grabbed both of them, magic reaching out and grabbing their weapons.
Striker, meanwhile, groaned as his eyes flickered open as the Hell-mer sped off.
Pride Ring…
Riser was sipping a cup of tea as he was at his computer, on DND Beyond planning his next game session with Naruto, Verosika, Loona, and Octavia.
His phone began to ring.
'Lord Stolas?' He thought as he answered it. "Hello?"
"RISER, NARUTO AND VEROSIKA ARE INJURED, WE ARE HEADING TO YOU RIGHT NOW, PLEASE GET READY FOR SURGERY!"
"WHAT!" Riser shouted, standing up, dropping his tea on the ground. "I'll get started now!"
Leaving his game room, Riser walked to the infirmary that his parents had installed when he became a doctor.
It was to earn money for the family at the house.
Getting dressed appropriately, Riser ordered staff to prepare his tools and be ready to receive patients.
Wrath…
"What?" Loona screamed, her voice cracking.
"We are on our way to get them medical care, just…" Stolas said in exaggerated and panicked tone that was masked by calmness. "Just…"
"Just nothing, Stolas, where are you going!" Loona screamed, getting Millie, Moxxie, Joe, Lin, and Andromeda's attention.
"We are going to Riser's clinic."
"We will be right there!" Loona snapped as she ended the call. "We need to go back to Pride, right now!"
"Loona, what is…"
"Naruto and Verosika are injured, LET'S GO!" Loona yelled, her voice cracked as tears began to run down her face.
Hearing 'Injured' set Millie and Moxxie into Parent Mode.
"Alright, Joe!" Moxxie said to his father-in-law. "We need your truck."
"No…"
"I am NOT asking!" Moxxie aggressively replied.
Joe's eyes widened.
The two fathers looked at each other for a few seconds before Joe nodded, handing the keys to his truck over to Moxxie.
Millie smirked.
'Oh, pa.' She thought as she, her husband, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter headed to the parking lot. 'You just accepted Mox.'
Buckling in, Moxxie took off to the Pride Ring.
Pride Ring, Phenex Mansion…
Verosika and Naruto were on tables, masks over their faces.
Nurses looked after Verosika, bandaging her head and applying pain killers as Riser operated on Naruto.
'Okay, I finished suturing the chest wounds…' Riser thought as he looked at Naruto's right hand. 'But this…'
He looked at it with a medical eye.
There was NO way it would be usable.
Riser grit his teeth as he knew what he needed to do.
"Exekial…" Riser called to one of his nurses.
"Yes, Doctor?"
"Prepare the scalpels, the scissors, retractors, clamps, needles, bone instruments, and a LOT of anesthesia." Riser ordered.
Without hesitation, the nurses prepared the items for Riser.
'I am sorry, Naruto…' Riser thought as h adjusted Naruto's arm. "Scalpel."
Two Hours Later…
Loona, Millie, Moxxie, Stolas, Blitz, and Andromeda were in the living room with Riser.
"I did what I needed to do." Riser informed, gripping his legs. "But they should recover in time. For now, let's give them rest."
Riser closed his eyes tightly, expecting someone, anyone, to start yelling at him.
"Riser…" Loona choked out.
Riser looked up and saw tears streaming down Loona's cheeks.
She was shaking as she looked at him.
"Thank you… for saving them." Loona said in a shaken, choked voice.
Riser nodded.
"No… no problem." He replied as Blitz took Loona's hand.
Andromeda didn't understand what was going on.
But she knew her mother was in distress and it made her sad.
Moxxie noticed, tapped Millie on the shoulder, and the duo stood up with the baby.
"We'll be… we'll be returning Joe's truck." Moxxie told Blitz and Loona. "You two should stay here."
Blitz nodded.
"Understood. Take care of Andy, alright!" Blitz said in a warning tone.
"Understood, boss." Millie said before the three of them left.
Riser stood up.
"Let me show you too your rooms…"
"No, I want to be by their sides." Loona interrupted. "I need to be there when they wake up."
Riser nodded.
"Understood, let me get some beds ready then." Riser said as he led the imp and hound to the resting area.
Lust Ring, Fox's Den…
"… Madam Kurama, but he overpowered me…" Karasuba apologized. "I failed."
After being sent back to Pride, Karasuba rushed to the Ring of Lust to inform her boss.
Fear was pouring out of Karasuba like sweat.
"No…" Kurama said as she exhaled smoke. "You succeeded."
Karasuba couldn't believe what Kurama was saying.
She never accepted failure.
"Go get your wounds tended too, Karasuba. I need you in shape to help Melani to train Kiba and Hinata." Kurama ordered, spinning around to look out the window.
"Yes, Madam." Karasuba replied, bowing before she forced her body to move out of Kurama's office.
Once the door shut, Karasuba began to fall, only to be caught by Arnold.
"Here, let me help you out." He said as he gently picked the Crow Sinner up in his arms.
Karasuba felt embarrassed she was being carried, but accepted the help regardless.
As the duo left, Kurama laughed, fingers plunged deeply into her vagina.
'You exceeded my expectations, and beyond." Kurama purred as she caressed her breast. "Awakening your true demon form in desperation…"
Kurama salivated heavily, dripping from her quivering lower lip.
'I can't wait to feel you within me, Naruto…' Kurama thought as she pinched her nipple.
Next Morning…
Verosika groggily sat up, only to be pushed down.
"You need your rest, Vero."
"Loona?" Verosika asked as she tried to open her eyes, only to be blinded by the bright lights.

"Where… where are we… my head…" Verosika groaned.
She touched her head, feeling the bandages.
"Why are there…"
Flashback…
Naruto swung Nuada with equal force, clashing with Karasuba again, Verosika following this with a stab.
Karasuba smirked, sliding her blade up Naruto's, catching it by the gut-hook.
With a twist, the sword was yanked out of Naruto's hands and spun around for the handle to strike Verosika in the head, interrupting her attack.
"VEROSIKA!"
Flashback End…
Verosika jolted forward, eyes wide open as she turned to look around the room in a panic.
"WHERE'S NARUTO!" she yelled, trying to get out of the bed, but the machinery connected to her stopped her momentum enough for Loona to grab Verosika and push her back into the bed.
"He's okay… he's behind the curtain." Loona shakily told Verosika.
"What happened!" Verosika asked, grabbing Loona's wrist.
"We don't know… but Naruto…" Loona whimpered.
Verosika noticed Loona's hesitation.
"Is he okay? Please… Loona, PLEASE tell me Naruto is okay…" Verosika trembled.
She wouldn't be able to take it if Loona said Naruto died protecting her.
'Please…' Verosika mentally begged as she continued to grip Loona's wrist. 'Please… I can't lose him too…'
Loona caressed Verosika's hand gently, carefully moving her fingers as she put her other hand on Verosika's cheek.
"Naruto is okay, he is just resting, like you need to be." Loona shakily replied, trying to keep a brave face, but Verosika saw through it.
It was the same face she herself had made when she lost Eevee.
"Let me see him."
"Verosika you should go back to sleep…"
"I need to see him, Loona…" Verosika demanded, breaking seeing the pain on Loona's face. "Please, I need to make sure he is okay with my own eyes."
Loona hesitated.

However, she relented.
Carefully helping Verosika sit up, Loona walked to Naruto's bed.
"Just… be ready for the worst." Loona warned as she grasped the separation curtain.
Verosika's heart beat in her chest like a drum as Loona pulled the curtain back.

"Come on, sweetie, you need to eat!" Moxxie said as he tried to get Andromeda to drink from her bottle.

Naruto felt weight on his body.
He felt warm, his limbs felt stiff.
His right arm hurt.
'Open… eyes…' He groggily thought as they cracked open, to close from how bright it was.

Naruto's eyes adjusted to the light and he looked side to side.
He was hooked up to many machines.
An Iv.
A heart monitor.
Lucifer forbid, a catheter.
He looked to the other side to see Loona, a look of relief on her face as Verosika, who was beside her, had her hand over her heart.
"Loo… Vero…" Naruto grumbled, wanting to sit up, but slanting as he tried.
Confusion swept over him as he looked at his hand.
His only hand.
His right arm had been cut short of his elbow, wrapped in heavy bandaging.
His wives saw the look of horror on his face.
"Naruto, Naruto…" Loona called out, trying to get his attention.
"Sweetheart look at us…" Verosika said as she put her hands around his left wrist.
"Did… What…" Naruto said as he 'flexed' his hand.
Signals in his brain 'signaling' that his 'hand' was there.
Phantom pains and muscle memory very clearly there.
"Naruto."
"Did… did I win?" was all Naruto asked as he looked up at Verosika.
Seeing the bandages on her head allowed a wave of relief to wash over Naruto.
Seeing him relax was comforting to his wives.
"I'm just glad you're safe, my Star." Naruto said as he caressed her face.
Verosika felt her heart become tight as she leaned into his hand.
"Idiot…" She mumbled as she began to cry.
"My World." Loona mumbled as she held his arm.
"It's just an arm…" Naruto said as he pushed himself to sit up, using what remained of his limb to hug both Loona and Verosika. "I have another one…"
The trio let their emotions run together, taking comforts and joy in each other's company.

OH, for those curious, Karasuba 'Glitched' out of the Wrath Ring, like how the characters in Spider-Verse glitch when they aren't in the correct universe/dimension.
I know, some expected the Sword of Marchosias to Mjolnir itself to Naruto, like Thor. But for now, it didn't. I promise, it will happen.
Now, I wonder what Bee is up to? Especially those results. Hm, well, then I guess you'll have to find out next chapter.
