This is the continuation of Chapter I. Got too lazy in writing an entire chapter to contain more than 3,000 words. Don't worry. It will be like this until the end of next chapter. This chapter will be short because why not? The first three chapters are the setup to the plot.
JESUS CHRIST! That amount of fans who liked a Bloodborne and Hazbin Hotel Fanfic Crossover
Word of warning: This fanfic will contain graphic violence, strong languages, sexual themes, and things against the Christian Religion… Actually, with every Religion. Viewer discretion is advised because its FREAKING Hazbin Hotel and Bloodborne.
A Hunter's Guide for Running A Hotel
II
Welcome to the Hazbin Hotel, Hunter
'Welcome to the Hazbin Hotel, a misguided path to redemption!' -A quote by The Radio Demon regarding about Hazbin Hotel
At the Hazbin Hotel, Charlie cannot help but to bounce up and down excitedly to where she stood after receiving her text from Vaggie. She is reading it for the twentieth time. "Got the Hunter for you. Currently heading back with him along with Angel."
Reading this only caused the Princess of Hell to get her excitement higher. She was waiting in the lobby area with the others as they awaited Vaggie and Angel to return with the infamous individual. Husk cannot help but make a dry comment after siping his bottle. "So, you are telling me that you are bringing a killer here? One that is known for killing a thousand in three years and is idolised by many. We do not even know if it is not the correct estimate."
The Princess of hell looked at the bartender. "Uh-huh. I know he spilt a lot of blood, but don't you see some good within him?"
"You mean how he saved many lives during the annual Extermination?" Alastor chimed in with his radio voice.
Charlie nodded at her facility manager. "Yes! Though, that may not have been true. He may have an infamous reputation, but it may help us boost the Hotel's reputation."
The bartender did not see it in the same light as her. "More like becoming a sinful organisation due to his presence."
Niffty could not help but feel the opposite of Husk's view. "It does not matter. I heard he ripped organs out of peoples' bodies and presented their mutilated corpses as a warning! I wonder if he can teach me how to do it by using his methods!?"
That caused Charlie, Husk, Razzle, and Dazzle to move slightly away from the tiny demon upon hearing what she had to say. They were reasonably uncomfortable with her fascination with the Hunter's brutal killings. Speaking of the devil herself, Niffty wondered when he would arrive. "So, when do you think they'll be here?"
Charlie was about to open her mouth when she heard the door of the Hotel open. She and everyone else saw Vaggie and Angel standing in the doorway, along with…
A man in a grey coat walked in behind the two. The rest of the staff had already known who they brought in on behalf of Charlie's request. It's what they heard from the numerous rumours: the same dark coat, the tattered tricorne hat, and the red eyes that matched every sinners. Charlie and the others got surprised that he maintained his human appearance despite being in Hell for a long period of time.
The Princess of Hell realised that the room became silent upon the individual of interest's appearance. She immediately walked up to him in an attempt to make conversation. "Um, hi. You must be-"
"The Hunter we have heard so much about?" Alastor interrupted as he was immediately standing in front of said individual, holding his hand in front of him. "The name's Alastor! You might have heard of me before, yes?"
The Hunter looked down at his hand and to Alastor before shaking his hand. "Pleasure to meet you, sir."
Charlie cleared her throat to grab their attention. The two men turned to face her, and the infamous Overlord knew what he had done. "Oh, forgive me for interrupting. But I may have interrupted her introducing herself." Alastor told him.
The man of interest looked at the Hotel Manager. "There is no need for that. I already know you, Miss Charlie Morningstar."
The Princess of Hell can't help but feel nervous about how he spoke. She knew he would be aware of her due to the adverts spread throughout hell and possibly him reading about her. Seeing her getting slightly uncomfortable caused Vaggie to shoot a glare at him. "Mind your manners, Sir! You better not talk to her with that tone!"
"I apologise," The Hunter spoke, "I didn't mean to cause any trouble with that tone of mine."
Angel just laughed at the Hunter's dry remark. "Oh, you didn't. She's just protective of her girlfriend."
That statement slightly caught the man. He didn't know that the Princess of Hell was in a relationship with a girl. He immediately restored his stoicism as he straightened himself and looked at the one-eyed woman. "I see. I am sorry for my attitude towards your girlfriend."
Vaggie wanted to pinch the bridge of her nose. He kept talking in that tone, and she tried to lecture him about his manners. However, it will not be now, considering this infamous individual just arrived. She sighed and uttered. "Charlie, you do what you have to do."
Charlie immediately knew what to do and looked at the Hunter confidently. "Right. Let me introduce you to everyone." She popped up to her staffmate's side as she introduced them to him. "Hunter, you already know Alastor and Angel Dust by now. But…" She had her hand on her lover's shoulders. "This is Vaggie, my girlfriend and the manager of this hotel." She was over to Husk. "This is Husk, our concierge and bartender. And this is…" She noticed that one person was missing from the group. She turned around and scanned the area. "Has anyone seen Niffty?"
Husk took a swig of his beer bottle. "You're about to have your answer."
Charlie raised her eyebrow at the cat-like demon when he mentioned that. "HI!" She turned towards Niffty, who got very close to the Hunter and had a broad smile and a blood-eye shot. "I'm Niffty, the housekeeper here. I deal with pests here by sometimes killing mother bugs in front of their children as a warning to others! But lately, I heard you skin and mutilate those who dare come crossing paths with you as a warning! Can you teach me that!? Please! Please! Please!"
The Hunter didn't know why. But he felt reasonably uncomfortable with this minor demon's request. He lowered at her level to answer her questions. "One day. If I am granted permission."
"Which will be never," Vaggie chimed in.
Now that her introduction was over, the Princess of Hell was next to two floating goat-like demons and placed her hand on each. "These two are Razzle and Dazzle. They have been with me ever since my childhood." With the introduction finally done, she focused her full attention on the Hunter. "Now that's done. Is there anything you want to ask?"
The Hunter looked around the Hotel. It was seemingly elegant and well-kept. But there was a couple he wanted to answer to. He turns to look at The Princess of Hell. "Considering what it looks like, you want to hire me?"
Charlie thought about that briefly before coming up with an answer. "Well, given your...reputation, Hunter, can you work for us?"
Upon hearing this, the Hunter listened to his ears ringing. He needed to find out if he was hearing things correctly. She wants him to work for the Hazbin Hotel. He cleared his throat to snap back to the present. "And why do you think hiring someone like me is a good idea?"
Husk groaned at his statement as he felt he would say that. "See?! What Did I say earlier, Charlie?!"
The Princess of Hell lightly sighed at hearing Husk's retort. She knew he had a point but was firm on her reasoning. She looked back at the Hunter. "You see, you seemed to be lost. You did not have a single goal, and you wandered aimlessly. I also heard about…what you had done during Extermination Day."
"What are you trying to say, Miss?" The Hunter inquired while raising an eyebrow at her.
"I'm saying that you can have a place here," she responded with a smile. "I know working at a hotel isn't your niche, but I am sure you will be able to find your place here once you get to know us very well. I am simply offering you something. What do you say?"
Charlie's words caused the Hunter to look down at his feet and ponder that. He, an ascended Hunter who endured the Horrors of Yharnam and beyond, has been offered a job that requires something that doesn't require violence and bloodshed. For once, he felt like the idea. But, simultaneously, he can't help but feel something off. "That's all good, but what am I meant to do? I am a Hunter who only lives for the Hunt. What is the possible job can Miss Charlie Morningstar offer me? I don't want to upset her, given her status. But what option do I have?" A tiresome sigh escaped through his lips, and he looked back at Charlie. "I'll take it."
Charlie squealed in pure excitement upon hearing this. A large smile was on her face as she immediately rushed towards the Hunter, where she gave him a big, tight hug. "THANK YOU! THANK YOU! I KNEW YOU WOULDN'T DECLINE MY OFFER DESPITE BEING SO TOUGH AND DENSE!" Unknown to her, he didn't like it and curled his hands into fists. He really wanted to push her away but knew that would only invoke her powerful wrath.
Vaggie clearly saw this and couldn't help but warn her girlfriend. "Uh, Charlie…"
Said girl looked at her before shifting back to Hunter, who was very uncomfortable of her being close to him. She immediately let go and took a few steps back. "Oh, I'm sorry about that. I didn't mean to—"
"I know." He interrupted her calmly. He looked at the others. "Since I am a part of this group of characters, what is my role in this Hazbin Hotel?"
"I'm glad you asked!" Alastor spoke with a broad smile as he was beside him instantly. "Since Hazbin Hotel has only recently opened up, we thought you should be our extra security guard. Since I'm already the main Security Guard, you can help by being an extra hand."
"Is that so?" The Hunter tilted his head out of doubt considering of how powerful the Radio Demon is.
It was at this point that Charlie decided to be the one to talk. "Basically since there a lack of security guards, I was thinking that you should be one for our hotel. I know it isn't an exciting job for someone like you, given what you are known for, but at least you have a place here."
"I…see…" The Hunter spoke with uncertainty. "Does that mean I get to start now?"
Charlie immediately shook her head. "No. No. You only just got here, and I don't think it's the healthy option to exactly start right now. How about you take the rest of the day off and we'll help you get started tomorrow."
The Hunter stayed silent. He stood very still while processing what Charlie had spoken. He nodded his head. "Very well then. I'll take your words."
Charlie smiled and clasped her hands together. "Okay then." She looked over at her girlfriend. "Vaggie, would you take the Hunter to one of our guest rooms?"
The one-eyed woman didn't need to be told. "I can do that." She looked at him and let out a sigh. She knew that things won't be the same way as it is. "Este cabron causará cualquier daño que venga?" She uttered quietly. Unknown to her, the Hunter heard that and clearly understood what she had spoken.
-Scene Change-
Charlie breathed a breath of relief as she felt her task weighing away. She looked at the others, who were still at the longue. "So, what do you think of him?"
Angel already had a response to give. "Still that badass I know from three years ago. Seriously, he's gotten a reputation that is both loved and loathed by everyone in Hell."
Husk, like before, took another swig of his beer before answering. "Quite a character. He isn't really such a sociable guy. I dislike him no matter what he is trying to do."
For once, Niffty agreed with the gruff bartender. "Uh-huh. He's such a bay boy because of that. I really want to learn other things from him side from his methods." She said it with a gleeful tone.
Alastor still had that smile on his face as he sipped his cup of tea. "It's as the rumour says, the Hunter never that type of person that never stays in one place. Though, there is more to that than what he shows." That made the Princess of Hell tilt her head at his statement.
She was about to ask him when Vaggie entered the frame. She had a relaxed look as if she had endured a stressful day. "Hunter is resting in one of our rooms. He told us to not interrupt him until tomorrow."
Charlie smiled at her girlfriend upon hearing that. "Thanks, Vaggie." She immediately noticed that she had a troubled look in her eyes. This caused her to be concerned. "What's wrong?"
This caused her to look back at her girlfriend, now having the look of worry. "You all have seen his eyes, right?"
Every person in the room looks at each other before looking back at the one-eyed woman. Charlie thought to ask what was on everyone's mind. "What are you trying to say?"
"I mean that he's broken beyond repair. We've seen demons like him before, but not to this extent. We're looking at the one who isn't afraid to die and is willing to do anything to achieve his goals, even if that means killing and committing many sins that goes against the hotel's values."
"So, that means he's unhinged and that much of a jerkass?" Angel raised an eyebrow in assumption.
Vaggie nodded slightly at the pornstar's comment. "In a way. He's aware that he's broken, but he doesn't seem to care at all. It makes him rather…apathetic to everything. Even to our hotel's goals. " There was also something that was plaguing her mind. She wanted to keep it for herself for the sake of everyone. "I don't think he's from Heaven by the clothes he's wearing. If Adam had someone like that, he would practically parade it. But it sounds like an old wives' tale from Heaven... about a cursed city whose name was scrubbed from both Heaven and Hell. Could that be where he originated from?" She let out a sigh and gave them a warning. "From tomorrow, we must watch him as we don't know what he may do next. Because who knows what we had just set in motion.
-Scene Change-
Night had almost hit. Nearly everyone was either asleep or doing other things. While it was meant to be a time of peace, it only brought painful memories for the Good Hunter. Memories that would drive one to insanity.
He sat down at a small table. He was updating his journal and recorded everything that had happened recently. He told Vaggie to instruct everyone to not disturb him as he wanted some alone time. Even Alastor, who was already starting to give him signs that he couldn't be trusted. A few seconds later, he finished writing his journal and closed it before pocketing it. A tiresome sigh escaped from his lips. Starting tomorrow, he'll be a security guard for the Hazbin Hotel, where people can go for redemption.
If he had to be honest, the Hunter didn't like Charlie's idea. He knew people's true nature and that some didn't truly deserve redemption. His thoughts ponded of the Great One, Kos, who had cursed those who desecrated her corpse and killed her unborn child back in that Fishing Hamlet, all just to achieve to ascend through the methods of using the 'Old Blood' and having 'more eyes'. Due to this, the city of Yharnam became this accursed place.
Still, the staff were pretty decent. However, the same can only be said for one person. One is Alastor because he gives off that creepy vibe and always has that smile that seemingly never vanishes. The second is Vaggie. He can't precisely place why he distrusted her the most unlike the others, but he'll eventually figure it out one day.
These thoughts made him realise something. If there were one person who would like to hear this, it would be her. One that gave him comfort during the Night of the Hunt. One that wishes to see him.
The Hunter put his feet on the table and lowered his head. Sleep eventually overcame him, and the last thing he had in mind was the Dream...
HO-LY FUCK! A Hunter's Guide for Running a Hotel has only gotten two chapters currently and it became THAT popular! Bravo to me, I guess. Now, insert sarcasm, this deserves to have a fanart. If only you had the right funds. Goddamnit. Though, a TV Trope won't be that bad.
Why do I sound like an egoistic prick when saying that? No, it shouldn't have them. Yet.
Anyway, excitement aside, the Hunter has finally joined with the others of Hazbin Hotel. Though, he doesn't trust some *AHEM* Alastor and Vaggie. But it'll be figured out soon. It looks like he is heading somewhere. In a familiar Dream of some sort. Either way, get ready for the next chapter because a familiar face from Bloodborne will appear. I assume you all know who I am talking about?
Since no one had mentioned anything regarding about what can change with the Good Hunter's involvement in Hazbin Hotel, I decided to do the opposite. I wan all of you to give constructive criticism and feedback to help improve this story.
Sorry if there were any Out Of Character Moments or any lore I fucked up, but I want to satisfy those who wants to read it.
See ya all in the next chapter, motherfuckers!
