Hello everyone! Here is the next chapter!
This will be the third date to Marco and Ace!
Hope you enjoy
Read and relax
Marco heard the gate open and knew it was Pops, so he went to the door to meet him, telling him he needed to talk with him. Izou was also with Marco as a witness to assure that this was all very real and not a prank. When the door opened, Thatch was also with Pops, and when Thatch saw Izou, he spoke shocked. "Iz! Did you hear?! Aveil Almeda didn't show up for the Milan fashion show! She apparently left after checking in saying she had something more important to do! Like what can be more important?! She was going to design a dress for a real queen! Which would cost a million dollars! I know you really like her and her work, I am sorry you don't get to see her this designer week in Milan." Izou nodded. "I know, but it is okay. Now, Pops, Marco and I really need to talk with you about something." Pops nodded. "Of course. Should we do it in private?" Marco nodded. "Yes, if possible, yoi." Pops nodded and they went to Pops' office.
When they got there, Pops looked at him and Izou. "Is everything okay?" Marco wasn't sure how to start this. "I don't know, yoi. You know what Thatch said about Aveil Almeda not going to the fashion week in Milan? Where she was supposed to make a dress for Queen Sonja of Norway that would cost one million dollars?" Pops nodded. "Yes. What about it, Marco?" Marco opened his mouth to speak, but closed it again as he still didn't fully believe what had happened and looked at Izou. "I still think I am dreaming or hallucinating, yoi." Pops blinked. "What happened?" Izou spoke. "Well, Aveil Almeda left Settimana Della Moda Di Milano last minute to make a pair of suits that will cost almost 3 million. One will cost 1,7, and one will cost 1,2." Pops blinked. "How do you know this?" Izou hummed. "I might be dreaming myself, but one of those suits, the one which will cost 1,2 million to be specific, is for no other than Marco. The other is for Ace. Ace hired her to make a suit for him and Marco, it will be delivered here on Saturday. Ace hired the world's top designer during the world's biggest and most exclusive designer week in Milan to make a suit for Marco costing about 1,2 million... What is now the appropriate reaction to this?"
Pops blinked. "Are you sure about this?" Izou nodded. "Yes. Not only did she look like her, she spoke the same, showed the same trademarks and behavior. We kind of hope it is a play, but we don't think so. Marco is getting a suit that will cost 1,2 million, and the most Marco has done with Ace is sharing two normal kisses, using his expensive car for a joy ride, same with his plane... Are we going insane? Should we call the hospital and admit ourselves to a psych ward?" Pops blinked. "Are you sure this is real?" Marco shook his head. "No, and I am not sure what to think, yoi. She said she would come on Saturday at 5pm. Ace is picking me up at 7pm a bit away." Pops nodded. "It might not be real and a scam." Marco gave a breath. "I am not sure. She knew my name- which is not hard to find out- but she knew I was dating Ace, yoi. I think this might be real." Pops nodded. "I will send the others out for dinner and I will be here. Tell Ace to come to the house at 6 so you can get ready together. If he gets it, it might get real. And I am here as well."
Marco nodded, that sounded good. "Sounds good, yoi. I will send him a text now." Marco took up his phone and did just that, texting 'the others are out on Saturday, come to the house at 6pm? We can get ready together.' After a few seconds, he got an answer, which made him blink. "I feel this is not a scam, yoi." He said as he showed the answer to Pops and Izou, which read 'Perfect. Got a meeting, I will be there at 5:30, Aveil has my suit as well and we can do the finishing touches together.' Izou nodded. "Yep. You really got yourself a sugar daddy, Marco. I will meet Aveil Almeda again!" Marco nodded and looked at Pops. "Please be here on Saturday and send the others out, yoi. I am not sure what to say or how to react to this." Pops nodded. "I get that. I will be here." Marco appreciated that. He had no idea what to do. Now he just needed to make the days pass until Saturday.

Whitebeard sat in the living room, Izou and Marco with him. It was Saturday now and Aveil Almeda would show up very soon if this was real. He had done some research himself, and Aveil was really gone from the fashion show. This was so odd he felt. Had Ace really hired her to make a pair of suits for almost 3 million? Did Ace have that amount of money to just spend? He would find out soon.
It was a bit later that the doorbell rang and Whitebeard walked to open the door and a woman who looked exactly like Aveil Almeda stood there, two suit bags with her which she had over her shoulder. "Marco Fishback, please." Whitebeard nodded and invited her in, bringing her to the living room, where Marco and Izou were. Izou looked excited, which he got. This might be his biggest idol. When they got there, Aveil Almeda hung one of the bags up before she hung the other beside it and opened it and took out a shirt and pants, and gave them to Marco. "Put these on and come back. Quickly please." Marco nodded and went and Aveil Almeda went to the bag which most likely had Marco's suit in it and got stuff out.
As she did, Whitebeard spoke. "We haven't met yet, miss?" Aveil Almeda hummed. "My name is Aveil Almeda, you can call me Aveil. Did Ace say he will be here at 5:30?" Whitebeard nodded. "Yes." Aveil nodded. "Good. He shouldn't need as many alterations as I've made clothes for him before." Whitebeard blinked, that made sense. But still, this was odd.
Marco then came back out and Aveil turned to look at him. "No, no no. You did it all wrong." She said as she went over to him and told him to stand still while she fixed it. Then she started to pull and fix what he had put on, before she took a step back and hummed. "Need to fix that side." She said before she got a needle and thread and started to make alterations. Whitebeard did think it looked good already, but she was the expert.
Just as she seemed finished, the doorbell rang again and just as he was about to go open the door, as it was most likely Ace, the door opened as it wasn't locked, and Ace came into the living room, giving a smile to Aveil. "Aveil! Long time no see. How is it going?" Aveil turned to him and smiled and moved to hug him. "So far, just fine. Sonja called me earlier, she isn't the happiest." Ace let go of her and chuckled. "You could have said no, but I do appreciate it." Aveil looked at Ace sternly. "You deserve the best after you helped me, Ace. Sonja was surprised I wasn't there for her to make the dress." Ace chuckled. "And I appreciate it. Tell Sonja 'Den som intet våger, intet vinner.'" Aveil chuckled. "She did also say she wants you to drop by one day." Ace hummed. "I would love to join the next Gardemarsj, I love that." Aveil chuckled. "Please invite me. Now, put on your clothes, they are in that bag, and I will alter it once I am done with Marco." Ace nodded and went to get the bag and headed to the bathroom.
After a few minutes, Ace came out and Aveil hummed. "You are so stunning, but the clothes help. You know my number if you change teams." Ace chuckled. "You will be my first call, Aveil. But for now, you're not my gender preference." Aveil chuckled and went back to fix Marco's clothes. "But you seem to have picked a very attractive and elegant man." Ace hummed. "And his personality fits perfectly. Do I look okay?" When Aveil looked at Ace again, he did a small spin, and Aveil hummed. "The front is a bit off, I will fix it while Marco puts on his jacket." Ace nodded.
Whitebeard then took in Ace's clothes. It was a deep red tailcoat which had cuffs with silver markings. His lapel also had silver markings. The collar was black and silver, which fit the silver markings on the vest under the jacket, which was also deep red. He had a silver ascot that also had a pin in it. It was a very elegant and amazing suit, and the color and fit was perfect on Ace.
Aveil then finished with the clothes Marco had on, and told Marco to put on the rest. As Marco did this, Aveil went over to Ace and fixed what she felt needed fixing. Whitebeard wasn't sure what, as it looked perfect. But when Aveil moved back a minute later, it looked better, even though Whitebeard still wasn't completely sure exactly what she did, but this was just another sign that she was extremely good at what she did. Marco now had on his jacket and vest, and Aveil went over and started to fix the rest. When she was done an hour later, she finished by tying the ascot.
When Aveil had, she moved back and looked at Marco, moving her hand a bit. "Spin, a slow spin." Marco did and Aveil nodded. "You look perfect." Aveil then turned to them. "What do you think?" Whitebeard looked at the suit Marco was in and was speechless. The tailcoat was royal blue with golden markings. The lapel was lined with gold, just like the buttons, eyelets, and cuffs. His vest was deep golden, same with the buttons on it which seemed to have a kind of a tiny bit darker shade around the edge. Marco's ascot was also royal blue, but barely a shade darker than the coat. Just as Ace's suit, this suit sat perfectly and the color fit Marco like it was, just as the suit, especially made for him.
Ace walked over to Marco. "This looks nice." Ace then turned and looked at Aveil. "You did as amazing as always, Aveil. It looks amazing on him and our suits match, but aren't identical, and I love it." Aveil walked to Ace and moved a hand to his cheek. "I know what you like. Now, you know the rules," Aveil turned to look at Marco. "But you don't. There are 6 rules. Rule 1: Do not dirty it if you can avoid it when you eat. Don't eat something that is messy and gets eaten with your hands. Rule 2: If someone asks, you say it is a true Aveil Almeda piece. Rule 3: Do not sleep in it. Rule 4: If you want to get down and nasty, take it off fully before you get nasty. Rule 5: Should you ignore one of these rules or something happens and it needs to be cleaned, call me and I will prepare it for being cleaned by a professional. I will pay for it to be picked up, cleaned, and returned. And rule 6, which is common sense. Should you want to alter it, call me. Do not let any other tailor or designer touch it. This is a real Aveil Almeda piece, so only I get to touch it." Marco nodded. "I will, but I don't have your nu-" Aveil moved and took a card out. "Now you do." Marco blinked and took it. "Thank you."
Aveil then hummed and looked at Ace. "Now, I need to leave. Sonja still wants her dress and I promised to make it. I will give her your regards and tell her to send an invitation for the next Gardemasj." Ace smiled and hugged Aveil. "Perfect. By the way, who will fly you back?" Aveil hummed and took out her phone. "Not the one I wanted. It is someone called… Luke Wyatt." Ace shook his head and took up his phone. "Oh no, no no, he is not flying you." Ace then typed something and hit send, and got an answer fast, before he looked at Aveil. "Go to the airport and say I sent you, Mika will be there to fly you." Aveil hummed. "My my, the black haired witch is flying me?" Ace chuckled. "God, she hates it when you call her that." Aveil chuckled. "I know, the reason I do. You're too kind to me. She is more fun than Luke. Last time Mika flew me, we took a detour to look at the opera." Ace chuckled. "I know, she likes to show things and show off. Have a good flight, and tell her hello from me. She could use a friendly face." Then the two hugged, before Aveil showed herself out and left.
Ace then looked at his watch and was on his way to speak, when the door opened and Aveil came back inside. "I forgot something!" She said as she walked in and moved a hand to her purse and took out two small boxes and handed one to Marco, and one to Ace. "I had this made, it will finish your suits perfectly. Now, have a good galla. And you know the deal, Ace, if you see-" Ace finished her sentence. "If I see Danuta, my glass of wine might slip out of my hands." Aveil chuckled. "Perfect. Open it please." Ace nodded and did, before he looked at Aveil. "It is perfect." Ace then looked at Marco. "What did you get?" Marco blinked and opened his box, before he looked shocked, before he took up a broche, and it was shaped like a bird, most likely a phoenix, and was golden, silver, and had diamonds in it. The wings had blue in it, as well as what looked like a sapphire on its back. It had long tail feathers that were golden with diamonds in it, and diamonds on its neck. It was beautiful and he knew Marco loved phoenixes.
Ace smiled and took up what he got, which was also a broche, but this one looked like a dragonfly, which was the same colors as Marco, but also had green in it. The wings were golden, blue, and green, with golden markings. The abdomen was blue with golden markings. It also had a sapphire on its back, and blue diamond eyes, which Marco's also had. The legs were golden. It was two very beautiful pieces and they matched in a way. He guessed Ace liked dragonflies.
Aveil hummed. "They needed to match, but not be twins. And you needed some kind of jewelry. Now, bye bye." Aveil waved, and they waved as well, watching her leave. As she was gone, Ace put on his broche, and Marco did the same, placing it on his left side on the coat, the same place Ace did. When they were done, Ace looked at his watch. "We got about 45 minutes, so that is good. Want to head now and be there a bit early, or wait here until we need to leave? It is a 25 minute drive." Marco blinked, before he nodded as he spoke. "Why don't we wait a bit, yoi? You could get to know Izou and Pops better." Ace nodded and smiled. "I would like that."
They then moved to sit down by the coffee table and couches, Ace sitting beside Marco and Izou and Whitebeard getting comfortable across from them. As they were seated, Whitebeard decided he needed to get this topic first. "That was the real Aveil Almeda, right?" Ace nodded, which had him continue. "And you hired her for almost 3 million?" Ace hummed. "All in all, it came to about 3,5. It would have been around 6, but she is a good friend and I got a discount." Ace looked over at Marco. "And so worth it. I needed a new one and look at Marco. So handsome. But as they say in Norway, 'Alt kler den smukke', which means everything looks good on someone who's already handsome." Marco smiled as Ace was very nice and charming.
But Whitebeard still wondered about a thing. "What kind of gala is this?" Ace hummed. "It is a charity gala. Tomorrow you might see the news about a charity organization which raised money for orphans and Médecins Sans Frontières, which is doctors without borders, and that comes from our gala. It is also a silent auction." Whitebeard blinked. "Silent auction? How does that work?" Ace hummed. "Sounds odd until you've been at one. There are items up for auction, and with the item is a list where you put your name, auction number, and what you bid. The highest and furthest down wins. No yelling, it is very nice. I am not that fond of auctions, but I am of silent ones." That made sense.
They then spoke a bit, before it was time for them to leave, and Marco said goodbye to him, before Ace and Marco left, and Whitebeard hoped they would have a good time. Izou also looked starstruck and jealous of Marco, which he got. Aveil was his idol.

Marco sat with Ace in a car, someone Ace had hired, a black car with tinted windows. They did speak a bit during the car ride and Marco was still amazed on how stunning this suit he had gotten was and Ace's was so stunning as well. Ace was already so beautiful, but even more in that suit. The car ride went by fast, and Marco wasn't sure what to expect.
When the car stopped, they got out, before they walked to a large entrance of an even larger building. Just as they were by the entrance, Ace stopped and looked at him. "Okay. I know you are used to being around large crowds and amazing at handling people, but here are some people here who can be a bit… much. Should they bother you, just walk away. I would like and will try to stay close to you so should anyone bother you, tell me. If you see a familiar face, as in from the media, maybe a celebrity, although this doesn't fit with you, but I need to say, don't go all fan-girling and swoon. There are some familiar faces here, based on what you look at." Marco nodded. "Have you had many dates like this, yoi?" Ace shook his head. "You're the first one. You just feel like you will fit in in a way." Marco smiled, glad Ace felt that. As in a way, Marco felt Ace said Marco will fit in Ace's life. And that made him happy. They met a man with a list, and Ace said his name and they were let inside. This really was an exclusive gathering.
They then walked into a room which had many people inside, and Marco did see some familiar faces from the media. He didn't really care, but he had never believed he would be in a place like this. They then walked on, before they walked into a large room, which was the auction room, as it had many stands around, which had items and a book by it where you could bid on items. It was also silent, but he could hear low chatter. No one was being loud, not like an auction could really be. This felt nice, and no one was screaming or shouting.
They then walked more into the room and Marco was shocked to see how large the room actually was, which it really needed to be too as it had many people and items in it. When they got in, a man asked them to put all their phones on silent and if they needed to take a call, to take it outside or in the other room they came from, but preferably outside. Should they ignore these rules, they would be asked to leave. Marco got that and had no issue with it. They then walked around and Ace did put his bid down on a few things here and there, just to see if he got it. But seemed very interested in a plush set, which Ace said was for Luffy.
As they walked around, he heard someone say Ace's name, and Ace looked to the person who did, who was a man with dark hair and had a scar over his eye. Ace gave a look to him. "Stay here, I will be right back." Marco nodded and Ace left, heading to speak with whoever this was. He did look a bit around, but didn't venture far. This palace was so nice and not too loud. A restaurant had a much higher noise level than this. He had to say he liked this.
A few minutes later, he noticed a woman approaching him. "Are you here with Ace?" Marco looked at her, and she had medium length hair with the colors blond on top and red the further down it got, before it was all red, and kind of looked like fire. She had light makeup on, and a green emerald dress. "I am, yoi. Who are you?" The woman hummed. "You can call me Cioup." She leaned in closer, "Now, are you here as a friend or a special friend?" Marco blinked, not sure what to say, but before he could come up with a response, Ace made his way over, snapping at Cioup with his fingers before he said. "Hey! I told you to stay away!" Cioup pouted "Yeah, I got that memo, but look at him! He is so cute and huggable!" Ace gave a look. "No!" Cioup blinked. "My, you must really like him then. Especially seeing how you brought him here." Reaching into his pocket with one hand, Ace rolled his eyes. "That's none of your business. Look what I got you. A little gift." And with that he pulled out a bracelet and jiggled it in front of her face, so it made some small noise. "You want this?" The woman's eyes lit up "A shiny! Gimme!" and reached up with a little jump, snatching it out of his hands, putting it on immediately. "Thank youuuu! And now, I see a teddy bear there that I need to bid on. Bye for now, Ace, and pretty man." As she left, heading towards a very large teddy bear that had to be at least 6 feet, maybe 7, Ace looked over at him. "I'm sorry, I should have known she wouldn't listen." Marco shook his head and gave a smile. "It is okay, yoi. Do you know many here?" Ace looked at him. "You want the tea? I know a lot of gossip." Marco wasn't surprised by that.
Marco looked around and saw a familiar face from the news, a news anchor. "Him, what is his deal?" Ace hummed. "He is here to make face as he had a face lift last week and needs to show it off to his friends who are here as well. He is also married, but loves, or more like craves, attention from women, which his wife hates. They are on the verge of divorce." Interesting. Marco then asked about some more people he saw that he had seen in the media and such, and Ace knew something about everyone. As Marco looked around, he blinked when he saw a familiar face of someone he and Pops worked with at times, and motioned towards him. "Him, gray hair, green jacket." Ace hummed. "Oh come on, I know you know Benn." Marco gave a breath. "I had to try, yoi." Ace chuckled. "But I will still tell you some things you didn't know about him. Rather useful information actually." Marco blinked and moved to look at Ace, surprised about that.
Ace hummed. "Benn works as a Private Investigator often, and he is amazing at his job. He is a retired informant. He knows a lot about many, like I do, as he helped train me. He also works with some high ups. On both sides." Marco nodded, that was interesting. Ace then waved at Benn, who came over, and Ace motioned to Marco. "You know Marco." Benn nodded. "I do. How are you both?" Both said they were fine, before Benn hummed. "How is the FBI thing going?" Marco gave a breath. "They won't tell us why they are targeting us, yoi." Benn hummed. "I think I can think of a reason." He said as he looked at Ace, who hummed. "I am not that bad." Benn hummed. "Tell that to the FBI. And I am thinking more along the lines of 'The Green Interface'. Also, I saw someone bid on the plush set I am sure you're trying to get for Luffy." Ace gave a small swear. "I need that. Be right back." Then Ace left.
As Ace was gone, Benn looked at him. "Are you ready to be with someone like Ace?" Marco blinked. "What do you mean, yoi? Is there something wrong with it?" Benn hummed. "I don't care that you're both men, but he isn't just a CEO, and I know you know. This with the FBI, it might repeat itself. Next time it won't be a company that's mad at you, but at him, and takes it out on you. And you will get pulled into the spotlight next to him, both good and bad, as he is also hated by many. What I am saying, be careful. And should you need it, call. I will always be one call away." Marco nodded, he didn't expect this. But while he got it, he really liked Ace. "I will keep it in mind, yoi." Benn nodded. "Good. You do fit together, I can't deny that. But he is a special person." That was true.
Ace then came back and they chatted a bit, before Benn headed on as he saw someone he needed to speak with. They then walked around as they spoke, Ace telling things about people they passed, just small things, and he found it interesting. At one point, Marco stopped when he saw a lamp. It looked unique. It was in the shape of a jellyfish, a compass jellyfish. It had different blue as well as some light yellow and white colors. It was very pretty and looked so elegant, almost breathtaking, if one ignored the surrounding things because this lamp belonged to a home and not this huge hall. It was 20 inches tall and held a soft sparkle at the breeze of the air-conditioning going through it. So Marco moved to look at the auction sheet and saw it had started at 200 dollars, and was now at 3250 dollars. That was a lot. He did look more at what the lamp was made off, and saw it had a dimmer, it could change colors, and was made by recycled and long lasting materials. It was designed by a local but still world famous artist. It was so amazing, but he didn't have that kind of money to use on it.
As he had looked, Ace also looked, before they spoke again as they walked on as they spoke. They did run into Benn again, who said another bid was on the plush set, so Ace went to bid again. Marco liked this silent auction, it not being loud or as stressful as he had heard many could be. It was very nice. He got why Ace liked this.
They then continued to walk around, Ace leaving a few times to check on his bids, before he came back. They did also have some drinks, as servers were moving around with drinks, which were soft drinks, champagne, wine, and shots. And Ace also said if you got too intoxicated, you would be thrown out, which made sense. It was very nice, and there were also some servers who had simple small foods with them, and it tasted very good. Marco also ate it carefully, not wanting to dirty the suit. Marco did ask who some people he recognized to be, and Ace had no issues telling a bit about them, telling some drama and spilling the tea. It was so interesting. He really had a fun time with Ace. He did see the woman again, Cioup, but one look from Ace had her back off. He did wonder who this was, but when he asked, Ace didn't say much. He had a feeling it might be someone Ace worked with, so telling about her might be dangerous for her if someone overheard, so Marco didn't ask again.
It was a few hours later a chime came, before an announcer said "The auction is now closed and the books will be checked to see who got each item, and you will get a message if you were the one who had the highest bid Please keep phones on silent, as we don't want a lot of noise. Thank you for the support." Then another chime, and Ace looked at him. "I think I won a couple things, it will take about half an hour to an hour, before all items have been checked, as they check one by one, so not everyone moves at once. We can head out when the chime comes, and the announcer says it is over, all items are checked." Marco nodded. "Okay. I really liked this, yoi. It was so… calm." Ace nodded. "Yeah, I really like it here. It is so nice and calm, and you can see special and interesting items." That was true. This was nice.
They then walked and talked, and even ran into Benn again, who had a bag with him as he had won an item, which was a knife set. As they walked around, Ace took out his phone, probably since he got a message as he heard it vibrate, and Ace hummed, before he looked back at him. "Be back in a minute." Marco nodded and Ace left. When he came back barely a minute later, he had a bag with him, which had Marco blink. "You bought something else, yoi?" Marco could still see the plush set by its stand, so it wasn't that. Ace nodded. "I did." Marco hadn't noticed that. "What did you buy?" Ace smiled and handed the bag to him. Marco blinked again as he took it, before he opened and looked inside it, before he felt shocked. It was the jellyfish lamp. Ace then spoke. "It is yours. I saw you looking at it." Marco looked up at Ace, who had a smile, and Marco felt shocked. "Ace, I can't. The suit was way too much already, yoi. I can't take this." Ace hummed. "You can and will. I don't need it, we have way too many lamps already. I bought it for you, so please, take it. If you don't want it, sell it. All purchases are final here." Marco didn't know what to say. Before marco got an idea.
Marco moved a hand to his pocket as he looked at Ace. "All purchases are final?" Ace nodded, "They are." Marco nodded and moved to take his wallet out and took out a poker chip he had, his lucky one. "Then I would like to place a bid on you, yoi." Ace blinked. "You're buying me?" Marco knew this was a risky thing to do and could backfire, but he felt relieved when Ace chuckled. "My, so what now? You own me?" Marco hummed. "No, more like I just bought more dates with you. And all purchases are final, yoi. So… let's say 10 more dates?" Ace hummed. "How about 20? I mean, dates go by fast, and I wouldn't mind more dates." Marco smiled. "I would really enjoy that, yoi." Ace was so perfect. Ace chuckled. "I am glad you're enjoying yourself. And I wouldn't mind more dates with you." Marco chuckled, agreeing with that.
Ace then got another message and smiled. "I also got the plush set. I will just pick it up." Marco nodded and Ace left to do that, before he came back. Then it wasn't long before another chime came and an announcer said every item had been checked and messages sent, so they were free to leave now, and the halls closed in an hour. Marco did ask how it was for the larger items, as he had seen some large ones, to which Ace said the one who got it would arrange for it to be delivered to their home or where they wanted, which the auction paid for as well. This was such a nice place, he had never been to an auction, much less a silent one.
They then walked outside, and Marco looked at Ace. "What now, yoi?" Ace hummed. "I am going to a hotel. I have this deal with Sabo, that if I have had more than 5 drinks, I try to not go home. I am welcomed, but you know, try to, and it is late. And I don't mind it too much. I have booked a room, double bed. You are welcome to join me you know." Marco thought for a bit, before he smiled. "I would love to, yoi. You're sure it is not too soon?" Ace shrugged. "If we both see no harm and feel comfortable, why not? I mean, we don't even know if anything special will happen. And I don't know about you, but I am beat. This week has been… not the best." Marco gave a supportive look. "You want to talk about it?" Ace smiled at him. "If you want to hear, I could rant a bit. We can walk there, will take maybe 20 minutes." Marco smiled and moved to start walking. "Rant and talk then, yoi." Ace chuckled. "You sound like Aveil right now." Marco chuckled. "I know, yoi." Then they started the walk.
As they headed to the hotel, Ace shared some details about his week, telling about some of his meetings, which seemed to be a mix of boring, tough, and very annoying things with annoying people. Marco did his best to put in some comments now and then as support and to show him he really was listening, which Ace seemed to appreciate. They also enjoyed the walk itself and halfway through Ace was done and they just enjoyed talking to each other about non work related topics as they walked on.
When they got to the hotel, Ace walked up to the reception and checked in, getting two keys. Then they headed up to the room, which was a large suite. As they got in, Marco put the bag down, before he looked over at Ace, who was stretching. He then walked over to Ace as he said. "This night was very good. A very nice date, yoi." Ace moved to look at him. "I agree, it was perfect." Marco was now in front of Ace and moved a hand around him and to his back, before he just looked at him, not wanting to make the first move, but he didn't need to wait long before Ace leaned in and kissed him, the kiss lasting for a bit, before they parted.
As they parted, Ace said he should take the suit off and went to do that, going to the bathroom, returning a bit later, having a loose hotel shirt on, and laid down on the bed sending a look his way. "You should also take off the suit. Aveil does get mad when you don't follow the rules. And she somehow always knows if you broke them." Marco nodded and went to the bathroom to take it off. Marco used some time to take his suit off, not wanting to accidentally ruin it. When he had, he placed it nicely on the counter where Ace had put his own, also folding it like Ace had and placed it next to it. When he had, he walked out of the bathroom and into the room again, on his way to speak when he looked at the bed, but stopped and smiled as Ace was already asleep, not even having moved the covers over him. Marco walked up to the bed and carefully moved to lie down as well. Ace didn't wake from it, and the way Ace laid, made Marco able to move his hand to hold onto Ace's carefully. Ace didn't wake, but his hand did move a bit and it was as if he tightened his hand to hold his.
Marco smiled and used his other hand to drag the covers over them, before he laid down and looked at Ace's sleeping face. Marco then closed his eyes as he fell asleep as well, the smile still on his face. Today had been a perfect day.
