Chapter 1
The fallen hero.
ShisuiUU: hey guys ShisuiUU here. I'm here with a new story. This is different from my other story. This is just a story about Naruto going through life. Theres no ssj. There is no Yugito or Sasuke being his best friend. This is just purely a story about Naruto. I got this idea about reading a story about Naruto being abandoned by his family. It will be different I promise. No family bashing either. Just a story about Naruto. With that being said let's begin. Sorry Shisui will be in this story. It's in the name I love the guy sorry.
Also leave a review on what you guys think of the story. I've spent a lot of time on my other one. But that's more of a not so serious story. This one is more of a serious one. One that I believe could grow into something better than my other one.

SPOTLIGHT, MOONLIGHT
Naruto Uzumaki-Namikaze, a bright-eyed six-year-old, was the son of the legendary Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze, and the spirited Kushina Uzumaki. As the middle child, he often felt overshadowed by his older brother, Menma, and younger sister, Naruko.
With his wild blonde hair and piercing blue eyes, Naruto was a miniature version of his father. His round face mirrored his mother's warmth, though the three whisker marks on his cheeks set him apart. Each mark felt like a brand, a constant reminder of the beast sealed within him.
Menma resembled their father closely but bore vibrant red hair that flowed like flames. His blue eyes held a confident spark, and he often carried himself with an air of authority. In contrast, Naruko was a vision of their mother, with long red hair cascading down her back and captivating purple eyes that sparkled with mischief. She had two whisker marks, a gentle nod to her brother's uniqueness.
The day they were born, chaos reigned. The village faced a devastating attack from the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox. The Third Hokage, in a desperate act, sealed half of its chakra into Naruko and the other half into Naruto. While this secret burden bonded them, it also isolated Naruto, who learned to communicate with the demon in whispered conversations since he was five.
Life in the Namikaze Compound was often lonely for Naruto. His father was frequently away, leaving Naruto longing for his attention. When Minato was home, he engaged primarily with Menma and Naruko, checking on Naruto only to assess the seal, a procedure that felt cold and clinical.
Kushina, his mother, was spirited but often preoccupied. Whenever she ventured out, she left Naruto behind, never asking what he needed or whether he was okay. It felt like he was a ghost haunting his own home, his presence unnoticed and unacknowledged.
His favorite perch was on the stairwell, where he could observe his family going about their daily routines, laughter and warmth surrounding them like a cocoon. One day, as he listened from his spot, he overheard Kushina discussing training with Menma and Naruko, completely omitting him from the plans. Anger welled up inside him; he felt the weight of their disdain for housing the Kyuubi.
Determined to change his fate, Naruto resolved to train alone. He didn't know where he was going but followed the familiar path toward the training grounds, thoughts swirling in his mind. As he walked past the entrance to the Uchiha compound, he was so lost in thought that he collided with someone.
"Oof! Sorry about that!" A teenage boy grinned down at him, helping him to his feet. His dark hair and confident posture exuded a sense of strength.
"Hello, I'm Naruto," he stammered, momentarily taken aback.
"I'm Shisui," the boy introduced himself, his warm smile making Naruto feel oddly at ease. "What's a kid like you doing out here alone?"
"My mom is training my siblings without me. I thought I'd train by myself," Naruto replied, frustration creeping into his voice.
Shisui regarded Naruto thoughtfully. "How about I train you instead? If your parents won't help you, I will."
"Really? But aren't you from a clan?" Naruto asked, his excitement mingled with hesitation.
"Indeed, but that doesn't matter to me. I see potential in you, Naruto. With the right guidance, you could become something extraordinary," Shisui said, his eyes gleaming with conviction.
"Alright! I accept, Shisui-nii!" Naruto exclaimed, feeling hope bloom within him.
"Why 'nii'? We're not siblings," Shisui said, raising an eyebrow playfully.
Naruto's smile faltered for a moment. "You're the only person who recognizes me. You feel like an older brother."
"Then let's keep it that way, but during training, you'll call me Sensei," Shisui replied, chuckling at the innocence of the boy.
Over the following year, Naruto trained under Shisui's watchful eye, pouring his heart and soul into every session. He leaped from tree branch to branch in the Uchiha training grounds, honing his skills and discovering his own potential. One day, as he practiced, Shisui called out, "That's enough for today!"
Panting and exhilarated, Naruto asked, "What now?"
"Follow me," Shisui instructed, vanishing in a swirl of leaves. Naruto quickly caught up, arriving at a modest home surrounded by the faint rustle of leaves in the night.
"This is Itachi's house," Shisui explained, gesturing toward the door.
A young girl answered, her face lighting up at the sight of Shisui, though she eyed Naruto curiously. "Good evening! Come in, I'll get my brother!" she said, leading them inside.
A few moments later, Itachi emerged, his demeanor calm and collected. He nodded at Shisui and offered a small smile to Naruto, which made the boy's heart race with hope.
"Satsuki, take Naruto outside while Shisui and I talk," Itachi instructed, his tone serious yet gentle.
Satsuki nodded, and Naruto hesitated for a moment, glancing at Shisui. The older boy smiled, encouraging him to go. Reluctantly, Naruto followed Satsuki to the backyard.
The full moon hung high in the sky, casting a silvery glow over everything. As Satsuki settled on the back porch, Naruto sat beside her, mesmerized by the moonlight that illuminated the darkness.
Satsuki began humming a soft melody, her legs swinging playfully as she swayed. Naruto's gaze drifted back to the moon, which felt like it was calling to something deep within him—a yearning, a potential waiting to be unleashed.
"My name is Satsuki. What's yours?" she asked, her voice breaking his reverie.
"Naruto," he replied, finally tearing his gaze from the moon to look at her. In that moment, under the gentle glow of the moon, Satsuki looked enchanting, her presence warm and inviting.
"The moon is beautiful tonight," she mused, and Naruto nodded, captivated by the serenity of the moment.
After a moment of comfortable silence, Satsuki asked, "How do you know Shisui-nii?"
"Oh, he's my Sensei! I've been training with him for a year," Naruto said, a grin breaking through his initial shyness as he recalled their adventures.
"If he likes you, then I like you too! Do you want to be friends?" Satsuki asked, her smile lighting up the night like the moon above.
Naruto's heart soared. No one had offered him friendship like this before. "Sure, Satsuki-chan! I'd love to be friends!"
Inside, Shisui and Itachi observed the two children outside.
"Looks like they've formed a bond," Shisui said, a satisfied grin spreading across his face.
"Yes," Itachi replied, his gaze fixed on them. "The moonlight seems to favor their connection."
As they watched, the moon cast its gentle glow over Naruto and Satsuki, illuminating their laughter and shared stories. In that moment, it felt as if the night itself embraced them, acknowledging the blossoming friendship that had taken root in the darkness—a light breaking through Naruto's long-standing solitude, whispering of hope and belonging.
END.
