MUGEN Universe: Tournament of Champions.

The musclebound, titanic man in the skull mask with horns stood atop the defeated goddess.

He raised his powerful arms and shouted from the top of the Norse tower. His voice boomed across the valleys and mountains stretching below.

"This realm's pitiful protector, Belldandy the Norn, has been vanquished! Raiden! Once again the challenge goes to your champions! Shao Kahn summons you, weak sniveling vermin of Earthreal, to MORTAL KOMBAT!"

Everywhere, fighters rose to attention as Shao Kahn's towering astral projection was sent at each continent, speaking in most known languages.

"Defeat Shao Kahn and your countries will be left alone! Failure means your conquest under the hells of Kahn's armies!"

The united champions began racing towards the building...

Shao Kahn.

Origin: Mortal Kombat II.

The emperor of the Outworld, a servant to elder gods opposing the deities supporting Raiden and his Kombatants.

Former husband to Sindel, a heartless tyrant who commands battalions of Tarkatans under the leadership of Baraka.

While brutish and lacking refinement, he is effective and tenacious in his thirst for war, and he used his cunning to raise from the rank of General into the undisputed ruler of his kingdom, the whole of Outworld.

Stage: Belldandy's stage, but arranged again so it reflects Shao Kahn's barbaric nature. Batman, Sonya Blade, Hoshi Ryu, Kano, Kurosaki Ichigo, Jax and Yagami Iori are all seen chained to statues of the Norse gods in the background.

Opening Poses and Lines:

Shao Kahn jumps from his throne and points at the adversary. "Who dares challenging Shao Kahn, sovereign of Outworld!"

Shao Kahn swings his hammer in the direction of the adversary. "You weak, pathetic fool!"

Heavy Moves:

Powerful Slam: Shao Kahn grabs the opponent, shoves them down on the ground, and then stomps their chest with a boot.

Grab and Smack: Shao Kahn lifts his opponent up by the throat with one hand and then smashes his fist into their face, sending them sailing back.

Stomach Kick: Shao Khan spins one of his legs around and slams his foot on the opponent's stomach, sending them flying away.

Stone Knuckle: Shao Kahn surrounds his fist with a dense coverup of stone and hits the opponent with it. A relatively slow attack but very powerful.

Power Swing: Shao Kahn uppercuts the opponent with his hammer, launching them into the air to juggle them up.

Uplifting Knee: Shao Kahn performs a rising knee attack with a streak of afterimage shadows following him. These shadows may be randomly green, white or blue.

Mystic Choke: Shao Kahn engulfs his adversary in a force field, then slams them twice in the chest with his fist.

Super Moves:

Hammer Dance:

Shao Kahn swings his hammer towards his opponent, causing them to fly back should they be hit. This is his best projectile attack. The hammer goes back to his hand after hitting or missing.

Shadow Charge:

Shao Kahn performs a dash ahead, rushing his enemy with a crushing blow of his elbow. He leaves a trail of afterimage shadows after himself.

Sledge Hammer:

Shao Kahn summons his Wrath Hammer, blazing with green fire, and smashes his opponent over the head with it, setting them up for a free hit.

Fireball:

Shao Kahn points one of his stabbing fingers ahead and sends a relatively unimpressive looking ball of fire from it. It only travels horizontally but it moves very quickly and it may be spammed with ease. The fireball explodes upon contact. He also could shoot it from his eyes or his mouth, but these variants are not seen in this videogame.

Ridicule:

Shao Kahn loves pointing at his opponents and taunting them. This has been weaponized through this Special, which causes the opponent to catch fire with green firee for a short time, not chipping at their health but reducing all the damage they might deal by 50% for the duration of it.

Scum Grab:

Shao Kahn quickly grabs the opponent out of the air by the throat, and throws them on the ground in the opposite direction. A good anti aerial tactic. This move has armor breaking properties, ignoring the protection granted by several abilities, Armor Modes, and any but the strongest defenses.

Free-Fall Super Move:

Shao Kahn summons the Wrath Hammer and does a overhead swing, smashing the opponent on his way down.

Victory Poses and Lines:

Shao Kahn laughs thunderously with his fists on his hips. "FLAWLESS VICTORY!"

Shao Kahn swings his hammer over his shoulder and poses while Urd in Slave Leia Organa's bikini crawls to hug his leg.

Shao Kahn turns to the camera, then throws his hammer at it, shattering the screen. "YOU ARE NEXT!"

Ending:

Shao Khan poses for the audience in a series of elaborate martial arts strikes and blows, only stopping eventually.

The forces of NERV, Galactus the Devourer of Worlds, and Akira were no match for the might of Shao Kahn.

With his strength increased tenfold, the forces of Light could not fend off his final invasion.

He merged each realm with the Outworld, and when their inhabitants were genocided, he turned his attention at the stars.

He vanquished Gid of Deviluke, the Freezer Empire, Thanos the Mad Titan and Darkseid of Apokolips, his greatest rivals, and added their domains to his own.

But his ultimate triumph was soon to be his downfall.

With nothing left to conquer, with all of enemies annihilated, Shao Kahn was driven to insanity.

He only lived for conquest, and with all of it achieved, there was nothing else left for him.

Evil destroys itself.

Game Over.

Have a nice day!

Thanks for playing.
