Thel Amar: Located in the Ultima Segmentum sector, in a subsector known as Thilia, a small, seldom-traveled region of the Imperium. Often overlooked, it is home to several planets occupied by the Imperium, among them Thel Amar.

The planet is twice the size of ancient Earth, with a sun similar to the Solar System. Its gravity is slightly lower than Earth's. It's a forested planet, with mountains and inactive volcanoes for the most part, featuring a vast ocean and several large lakes covering 39% of the planet. Its humid climates support a diverse range of flora and fauna. It has a moon called Suran, larger than Earth's, with low temperatures giving it a blue hue, creating a breathtaking sight in the sky.

A Brief History and Culture of Thel Amar:

The origin of Thel Amar's name remains unknown. During humanity's Golden Age, the planet was colonized and terraformed, becoming a paradise. Following the Dark Age, the planet was isolated, and survivors abandoned much of their technology, adopting a more ancient way of life. Certain technological advancements were preserved, but were hidden or reserved for nobles.

In the Crusade era, Thel Amar joined the Empire, pledging loyalty to the Emperor. Over time, progress was made, but traditions like clothing styles and combat methods were maintained.

Today, Thel Amar has a sizable population, though not enough to be a hive world. Cities have grown, and mineral extraction has left some areas barren. Green zones remain, inhabited by wildlife, but access is restricted. While civilians can visit some areas, this is not common.

The planet currently exports minerals and soldiers, although not as many soldiers as other worlds. Its soldiers are loyal and efficient, trained in both firearms and hand-to-hand combat.

The planet also has its own method for testing initiates in the Schola Progenium, a trial designed to measure what they are made of.
