Hello to all, this is Chapter 11 of the first Arc of Volume 6: Battle in Hueco Mundo!
Intro: The Earth... is a great place where humanity and all other creatures live and learn to evolve little by little, but this great world has Darkness in it too. Evil beings who wish to conquer this world and everyone.
Only one being stood against them to show everyone the power of light and hope, but this great mythical dragon wasn't able to stop them. He gave his powers and hope to a human that was known by his name, the Dragon Knight!
Before this hero also met his end, he gave the legendary Dragon Sword and his hopes and dreams to the next knight, his youngest son who is destined to become a legend by the sides of his comrades and his love. This hero... is the Dragon Knight of Light!

Volume 6: Chapter 11: The Eternal Army and the Courageous Heart! Defeat the Dragon Killers, True Burst Limit!
Previously in DKR:
Engaging the past two villains turned Arrancar, Yugi asked Jenny and the others to go ahead while he dealt with them. Anzu, Honda and Jonouchi refused to let Yugi fight alone so Jenny and Masaya went out ahead with Riolu and Skitty.
Yugi prepared to fight both past villains but Jonouchi asked him to fight Yami Marik, having a score to settle and Yugi shouldn't deal with them on his own. Not given a choice, Yugi allowed him as he confronted Maximilian. Jonouchi challenged the evil of Marik to a duel who he happily accepted, wanting to finish what they started.
They commenced the duel as Jonouchi wasn't going to play the same way he did all those years ago; this time he was going to duel to win rather than fearing him. It worked out at first but Yami Marik's new cards prevented Jonouchi from winning and then he proceeded in summoning a new Proxy card of Ra. This one much weaker than the original but having support cards to increase and make it stronger all while Yami Marik's new powers allow him similar abilities and effects to a Game of Darkness, causing real damage to both.
Regardless, Jonouchi won't back down when Yugi wants to get back his cat and he will do all he can to reunite them. Yugi is still squaring off against Maximilian, not holding anything back as he enters his Rising Limit and reveals his new Dragon Slayer with the piercing power to destroy Maximilian's shield. Annoyed by this, Maximilian entered his Resurrección form to settle things.
Will Yugi and Jonouchi overcome their enemies and move forward?

Honda drops his jaw with Anzu freaking out as the numerous soldiers emerge from the ground, surrounding Yugi.
Yugi looks around, actually unease, at the numerous soldiers. They all had Hollow-like skull faces but their outfits resemble that of the Empire Soldiers except black and white colors.
"Afraid?'' Maximilian questions the Dragon Knight as he reveals his ability. ''This is my Ejército Eterno; my Eternal Army in simpler words. They are made out of the souls who were loyal to me in the Empire.''
The Hollow soldiers breathe with loud hisses, almost beastly yet obedient for any orders their master will have for them.
''Though they are now mindless and only follow my will; slay all of my enemies and conquer what I seek.'' Maximilian then says, admiring truly loyal servants with no thoughts or wills to oppose him. Yugi just stares at him calmly, raising his Dragon Slayer forward.
Maximilian gazes at his calmness, finding it admirable but foolish.
''You may be strong for your foolish comrades, but it is a mere peon compare to my army!'' He proclaims confidence in his victory. In fact, he knows he will win as his eyes gazes towards his friends. ''In fact, your very strength will die now.''
Floating up into the sky, Maximilian now orders his soldiers to attack them telepathically. 3 of the undead soldiers suddenly turn around and dash right in front of a shock Anzu and Honda. They panic as the soldiers swing their weapons but are immediately pierced and slash apart by Yugi, appearing right in front of them thanks to Yin-Yang Dash.
"N-nice swing, Yugi.'' Honda expresses nervously, sweating as that was a close call. Yugi doesn't answer him as his Yin-Yang Dragon eyes glow fiercely up at Maximilian, telling him annoyed. ''I'm not surprised you're going after my friends.''
Maximilian scoffs as 6 more of his soldiers charge at him who slashes the first one and intercepts the others from getting near his friends, slashing each one apart. The Arrancar watches coldly as he proclaims, aware this would happen. ''Then you intend to protect them? How predictable.'' Now 24 soldiers come in as Yugi manifests 5 Dragon Clones and they engage them.
Anzu and Honda watch as the soldiers try to reach them but a Dragon Clone destroys the mindless soldier all while Yugi and the rest of his clones are keeping them at bay. The brunette can't help but frown, watching as a Dragon Clone is stabbed multiple times by more enemy reinforcement, destroying it. More and more of Yugi's clones are destroyed, leaving the original left.
Finally arriving, Kojan watches afar and scoffs as Yugi is struggling, not noticing he's yet to use Burst Limit and more looking disappointed by his concerns for protecting his friends.
More soldiers come at Anzu and Honda, trying to get away but the enemy moves too fast but Yugi intercepts and slashes them. They watch as the soldiers fire Ceros but Yugi swings and fires a Dragonaun Tensho, blocking the attacks but they still explode and blasts him into the ground though he somersaults back on his feet.
''Yugi, worry about yourself! We can-'' Anzu tries yelling at him to worry about the enemy but Yugi immediately protests. ''I don't plan to let this discourage me! I can do both!'' He raises his lance sword and comes at the enemy, summoning more Dragon Clones.
Jonouchi actually worries for Yugi as he can't keep up protecting the others like this. Yami Marik sees this and he can't help but glee with joy to see him suffer.
''Hehehe, it's over for him. His weakness for his love ones will always be his downfall.'' He proclaims strongly before he goes into a loud, sinister laughter. ''HAHAHAHA!"
Getting mad at his laughing, Jonouchi turns around to face him and yells out angrily. ''SHUT UP! A monster like you can never comprehend the value and power Yugi has for everyone!''
He clenches his fists tightly, hating people like him that look down at Yugi who underestimate him because he cares for those around him and that's their mistake!
''He will beat you guys and save Momomiya…'' He begins to declare passionately with his eyes gleaming with such determination. ''Because he's the kindness, strongest person!''
Yami Marik snarls at his words but Maximilian overhears it and proclaims unemotional yet cruel. ''Kindness is meaningless to absolute power.'' Suddenly the slashed minions that Yugi and his clones took down are suddenly standing up, their wounds healed up by instant regeneration.
This shocks everyone except Kojan who is unimpressed by this ability; they're still weak.
''And now you will learn firsthand!'' Maximilian proclaims firmly as his army shrieks in response. The Dragon Knight glares firmly, not saying a word as his body radiates in the red fiery aura of Yin-Yang Dragon.
However, before anything happened; the environment suddenly shook, disturbing mainly Yugi and Kojan as they looked up. Their eyes widen to see a Dimension Break portal manifest for a brief moment.
''Huh?'' Yugi's demeanor changes into a surprising expression, Yugi looks up to see a pair falling down from the sky right towards the tricolor head. It happens too fast as the two figures crash on top of him with a pair of screams. ''WAA!'' They slam on top of him, pinning poor Yugi on the ground with dazed eyes.
Anzu, Honda and even Jonouchi watch this in utter confusion while Yami Marik has a face and Maximilian doesn't follow it.
''Ouch…'' Yugi grunts in pain. Kojan is shocked that a Dimension Portal opens up here of all places. Why? The real shocking part is who fell from the sky.
Lying on top of Yugi is surprisingly both Taichi and Agumon, both blinking heavily at where they just crashed in.
''Taichi, I'm so confused!'' The yellow Dinosaur-like Digimon yells out, very confused with his partner agreeing with him. ''You and I both, Agumon. We just reunited with everyone to stop Millenniummon.''
Anzu makes a stun face alongside Honda with larger eyes, humming at first, questions very puzzled. ''… Is that a kid with a yellow dinosaur?'' Jonouchi also hums, also very inquired with large eyes.
Grunting as the two panic to get off Yugi, he stands up to see them and gasps as do the two.
''Taichi-kun, Agumon-kun!'' Yugi begins to express joyfully followed by the human and Digimon, uttering in surprise. ''HEY!'' Taichi starts laughing, not expecting this reunion as he proclaims smiling. ''It's been a long time, Yugi!''
''Long time?'' Yugi begins to question with Taichi nods, recalling the last time they met. ''Like about 4 months.''
''4 months?!'' The Dragon Knight utters in shock, finding that impossible… unless time and space was involved. Okay, that's probably most likely.
''You know them, Yugi?'' Anzu asks him with the star-headed young man to smile happily. ''Yea! They're super awesome!'' He then pauses as the last time he saw them; they were in his dream- well no, he was in that cyberspace world but just his spiritual- Okay; he asked Shadow Knight that and it seems he was in close by for Prana to send his conscious in that state to that cyberspace for a limited time. Yea, sounds insane but it makes sense.
''How are you two here?'' Shaking his head, Yugi asks Taichi how he and his partner are here. Taichi is also just as confused as he explains it. ''I was with my friends dealing with new enemies. One of them is that creepy Digimon from before.''
Yugi remembers that one, the one called Argomon.
''And there was another creepy one and then we were sucked up by this portal.'' Taichi explains, not remembering the figure but it could have been the enemy they were tasked to stop; Millenniummon. Yugi frowns, also curious why they were taken here of all times and-
''I do not appreciate being ignored.'' Interrupting his thoughts, Yugi turns to Maximilian as his minions all charge at them. Quickly in response to danger, Agumon shouts as he breathes powerful fire shots. ''BABY FLAME!'' The flames hit the targets and burn them all over, causing Honda and Jonouchi to drop their jaws and leaving Kojan shocked by what he just witnessed.
''So, is this Digimon evil?'' Agumon asks the Dragon Knight who smiles, sweat dropping. ''Not exactly a Digimon but evil for sure.''
This further shocks Kojan to hear that name; Digimon. So is that thing a Digimon.
Taichi doesn't care if this guy isn't a Digimon, owing Yugi for saving them before.
''You helped us last time. It's time Agumon and I repay the favor.'' The tamer proclaims, adjusting his goggles as Agumon nods in agreement. Yugi snickers, thanking them. ''Hehe, I appreciate it.''
Maximilian scoffs at this as his soldiers lit on fire remove it with sheer Spiritual Energy.
''Another comrade of yours. How unfortunate he will die.'' The Arrancar proclaims coldly. Agumon growls, declaring mad by that man's attitude. ''I already don't like this guy!''
Taichi agrees as he responds, pulling and gripping on his Digivice. ''Then let's teach him a lesson about lessons, Agumon!''
''Right, Taichi!'' Agumon shouts as he comes charging. Yugi smiles as he joins him, the two coming at the army who come at them by Maximilian's mental orders. Yugi intercepts a few with strong swings with the spiral front of his lance sword as Agumon leaps above him and shouts. ''SPITFIRE!'' He shoots out multiple fireballs, blasting the monsters away.
More soldiers come at them but Agumon extends his claws and shouts. ''CROSS FIGHT!'' He slashes them with a cross-shaped swing slashes, damaging the mindless soldiers. It pushes them back but they regenerate the wounds and then the flames burst away.
''Ah man!'' Agumon complains with Taichi agreeing, noticing this healing factor. ''Attacks don't work on them as they recover the damage faster.''
Nodding as the best case to fight the enemy; Taichi grips on his Digivice and proclaims. ''Then how about this! Agumon, evolve!'' The device begins to glow an orange's light.
''AGUMON, EVOLVE!'' Agumon begins to shout as his eyes change from green to red as his body is consumed in an orange, whitish orange body of energy. He begins to expand and grow instantly; becoming a large dinosaur resembles a tyrannosaur. Its skin has become cranial and turns orange with blue stripes across its body. His eyes are red as he wears a rhinoceros' beetle-like helmet that is part of its head with large horns on its sides and front.
''GREYMON!'' The evolved Agumon roars loudly, posing as flames erupt behind him. Maximilian widens his eyes as the massive dinosaur roars, shaking the ground and alarming everyone but Yugi with a small smirk.
''HOLY!'' Honda yells out in horror with Anzu paralyzed with widened eyes as Jonouchi shouts in astonishment and widens pupils. ''THAT IS COOL!''
Taichi jumps on top of Greymon's tail and it launches him on top of his head. Gripping on his main horn, Taichi commands his partner. ''Give support and ram through, Greymon!''
''You got it!'' Greymon roars again, charging forward and twirls around, swinging his massive tail and smacks multiple soldiers with ease and then thrusts his claws, slashing down multiple enemies too.
Yugi smiles as he rushes in, joining in.
Watching this with a small smirk, Jonouchi looks at them before he glares at Yami Marik and tells him seriously. ''You guys always underestimate the friends Yugi has made and Yugi himself.'' He then points his finger firmly towards him. ''That's why you guys will lose again! Because bastards like you are meant to lose!''
Yami Marik just grins through his eyes veiny with fury. He will make him pay.
Duel Screen: Turn 6_ Jonouchi: 5300LP H: 6 / Yami Marik: 100LP H: 3
Jonouchi has an empty field while Marik has that weaker proxy of Ra, Egyptian God Slime and 3 Set Cards. But right now, he feels lucky.
''My turn!'' Jonouchi declares, drawing his top card and then plays it. "I activate the spell, Pot of Greed! I can draw 2 cards!" He draws his two cards and eyes them before blinking. He had to read one of the 2 cards, twice, to confirm its effect.
''Could I?'' He questions, thinking for a moment. If this works, then Ra is gone. If not, due to one of Marik's cards; he's done for. But if they do something he can turn the tide. Nodding, Jonouchi proceeds to summon it. ''Since I control no monsters, I can Normal Summon this monster without any tributes! I summon Giltia the D. Knight Soul Spear!''
Appearing on the field is Giltia the D. Knight but coated in a radiant glow especially his spear weapon.
Giltia the D. Knight Soul Spear Lvl 5 ATK: 1850 DEF: 1500
''Giltia's effect upon being Normal Summon banishes a monster you control with the highest ATK than himself.'' Jonouchi activates his monster's effect, causing Yami Marik to stagger. ''SAY! GOODBYE! TO RA!''
Giltia takes aim with his spear towards the fake Ra and tosses it right at it. Honda smirks that if this hits, it's over for Marik.
''YOU THINK!'' Yami Marik, grinning, announces as he triggers one of his set cards. ''Reverse Continuous Trap open, Sun God Unification! I release Ra so I gain all of its ATK to my Life Points!''
Jonouchi panics as the trap shines and Ra fades away as Giltia's spear misses. As it does, Marik reforms entirely as his Life Points shoots up to 7100. He still snickers as his trap can also do the opposite and make Ra stronger too. He can't lose as he proclaims overconfidence. ''It's hopeless to beat me. HAHAHA!''
''… Good thing Giltia's effect doesn't target.'' Smirking as one of his conditions were meant, Jonouchi then reveals with a smirk. This actually shocks Yami Marik, uttering. ''Nani!''
Giltia creates a new spear, not aiming at Egyptian God Slime and throws it. This time it connects and banishes the nearly unstoppable slime monster. Yami Marik growls madly but he still has options with his set cards.
''Now I activate the spell, Wishes of the Last Warrior!'' Jonouchi announces, playing a spell. It shows the image of an unknown clothed-cape warrior walking in a desert alone with hundreds of destroyed/broken weapons scattered around with a bright starling sky.
''I send the top 5 cards of my Deck to the Graveyard and then a player can set 1 Trap card from their Deck to their field. And that card can be activated this turn.'' He explains as he sends his top 5 cards away and Sets a Trap face-down on his field.
Smiling as he has all he'll need, Jonouchi then announces proudly. ''Marik, I'm going to pulverize you this turn.'' He grabs a card and plays it too. ''I activate the spell, Question!''
''That annoying card again?!'' Yami Marik proclaims enraged, remembering that stupid card from their last duel all those years ago. Jonouchi snickers with a scheming grin and
''I don't need to remind you but you have to guess the monster in the bottom of my Graveyard and if you call it wrong, I can Special Summon it.''
Yami Marik growls mad, thinking the monster is Rocket Warrior until he remembers that card sent before and then he remembers the ATK stat of a monster he sent.
''Hahaha…'' Escalating his laughter, Yami Marik mocks Jonouchi's little play. ''HAHAHAHA! HOW PREDICTABLE!'' He calms down as he begins to guess. ''Oh let me guess… That card you sent with Foolish Burial, no doubt it's-''
He pauses to see Jonouchi hand flinches for a moment. Did he stagger him that much or-
''Well?! Guess it if you know my strategy so well!'' Jonouchi then tells him off with a firm face. ''It's not like I got anything better. I already Normal Summoned…'' He then smirks, taunting him. ''I might have Normal Summon or Monster Reborn. Like I always got a plan.''
Narrowing his eyes annoyed by this pathetic excuse of tricking him, Yami Marik then tells him off. ''You think I was born yesterday? I'm no fool. I know you sent that card and I know I am making the right choose!''
Jonouchi just stares at him, waiting for him to make his choice. Smirking, Yami Marik calls out his guess. ''I choose Jinzo!''
There's an awkward silence as Jonouchi's spell then glows to the evil Marik's surprise.
''Bzzzz!'' Uttering a zipping sound from a buzzer, Jonouchi tells him off. ''Incorrect!''
''What?'' Yami Marik utters confused with a look of fury. How?! He saw the ATK stats!
''The correct answer is…'' Jonouchi begins to say as a card pops out from his Graveyard slot and holds it up forward. ''Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon!''
Yami Marik widens his eyes as emerging out in flames is the Red-Eyes retrained, roaring viciously.
Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon Lvl 7 ATK: 2400 DEF: 2000
Honda flexes his arm manly with a smirk, finding that way too awesome. Yami Marik just hisses enraged, not believing this just happened.
''Guess you jumped the gun.'' Jonouchi points out with a smug smirk before he grabs a card in his hand and plays it. ''I activated the Equip Spell, Premature Burial! I pay 800 Life Points to Special Summon a monster from my Graveyard!''
He grunts as his Life Points drop to 4500 as he calls forth. ''Come back, Red-Eyes Archfiend of Lightning!''
Reappearing is the Red-Eyes variant of Summoned Skull, howling loudly.
Red-Eyes Archfiend of Lightning Lvl 6 ATK: 2500 DEF: 1200
Smirking, Jonouchi then shouts, playing another card from his hand. ''I activate the spell, Polymerization! I fuse the Level 7 Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon and the Level 6 Red-Eyes Archfiend of Lightning!''
Both monsters fly and intercept each other, fusing. Yami Marik sees this and smirks as he shouts, triggering his set card. ''Before you do, I chain and activate the Continuous Trap, Coffin Seller! Now you take 300 of damage for each monster sent to your GY!''
Anzu worries as he intends to weaken Jonouchi's body like last time and she can tell Jonouchi isn't doing so well right now.
''… I was hoping you would try something like this.'' Expecting this cruel play, Jonouchi begins to say with a cocky smile as he declares. ''Reverse Trap open, Psychic Shockwave!''
His set Trap flips open and glows as Jonouchi explains by sending a card from his hand to the Graveyard. ''When you activate a Trap, I can discard a Spell or Trap Card to Special Summon Jinzo from my Deck!''
Yami Marik panics, realizing he's fallen for his trap.
''Let's go, Jinzo!'' Jonouchi calls forth as Jinzo appears on the field with his arms crossed.
Jinzo Lvl 6 ATK: 2400 DEF: 1600
''Jinzo's effect activates! Trap Stun!'' Jonouchi commands as Jinzo fires its red eye beams, tearing through Yami Marik's cards and destroying all of the traps. But he's surprised that only 1 card remains Set on Marik's field. Could it be that card from their last duel? He doesn't have much choice if it as he chants while a fusion portal manifests from behind him. ''Black Dragon with eyes of burning red, merge with the demon king of lightning! Become the demon dragon with a blazing soul that consumes all with its hell dark flames!''
The portal enlarges as a wave of intense flames erupts out of it as Jonouchi then shouts. ''Fusion Summon! The king demon black dragon reborn! Archfiend Black Skull Dragon!''
The flames surround each other and soon take on the solid form of the evolved Black Skull Dragon, roaring viciously.
Archfiend Black Skull Dragon Lvl 9 ATK: 3200 DEF: 2500
''This monster will roast you, Marik!'' Jonouchi declares loudly as he commands. ''Battle! Attack directly, Archfiend Black Skull Dragon!'' The demonic dragon roars, engulfed in flames before breathing out a powerful dark fiery meteor mouth blast. ''Demon Meteor Flare!''
The attack flies at Marik who smirks, proclaiming. ''Pathetic! I activate-'' He begins to trigger his set card but nothing happens to his disarm. ''What the hell? Why won't it-''
Snickering, Jonouchi announces confidently. ''Archfiend Black Skull Dragon's effect prevents my opponent to activate cards or effects when it battles!''
This shocks Yami Marik as the attack hits him directly, exploding across his face.
''GGAAA!'' He screams in agony, blasting away but still managing to hold his ground. He gasps heavily, having taken 3200 of damage. Jonouchi isn't done as he then announces. ''By shuffling a Red-Eyes Normal Monster from my Graveyard after resolution, Archfiend Black Skull Dragon's effect inflicts damage equal to that monster's ATK. I target Red-Eyes Archfiend of Lightning!''
His archfiend is shuffled back to his Deck as Jonouchi commands. ''Demon Black Burn!'' Archfiend Black Skull Dragon fires multiple smaller fireballs at Yami Marik further damaging him as he takes 2500 of damage. Yami Marik can't help but express a lot of fury and annoyance that this even damages him.
''Nice one buddy!'' Honda tells him with a smirk. Anzu smiles, thinking that Jonouchi has this.
''Giltia, attack! Soul Spear!'' Jonouchi then commands as Giltia manifests a new spear and charges himself at Marik who immediately counters angrily. ''Reverse card open, Dark Wall of Wind!'' His set card flips over as Jonouchi stares calmly, almost not surprised. ''I take no damage from your direct attacks this turn!''
His spell forms a dark barrier of wind that pushes the holy knight backwards.
''Damn it!'' Honda complains angrily, really thinking that Jonouchi had this one. Anzu is calm as she can tell Jonouchi was aware what that card was beforehand.
''I'm not done yet!'' Jonouchi then declares, entering his Main Phase 2. ''I discard 1 card from my hand to activate Giltia's effect!'' He discards a card as Giltia raises his spear and fires a beam of light that curves and hits Jonouchi's deck. ''I can add a Level 5 WATER Warrior, Level 6 DARK Machine or Level 7 DARK Dragon monster from my Deck to my hand.''
A card pops out as Jonouchi adds it and then announces. ''Plus Black Metal Dragon's effect lets me add a Red-Eyes card from my Deck to my hand!'' He adds another card into his hand.
Now he plays another card from his hand. "I activate the Quick-Play Spell, Mystik Wok! I release Jinzo to gain his ATK as my Life Points!" Jinzo vanishes as his Life Points go up to 6900.
Reaching a card from his hand, Jonouchi declares setting it behind his monster. ''I set 1 card face-down. Turn end.''
Anzu blinks, wondering if that card is that special to release Jinzo for.
Duel Screen: Turn 7_ Jonouchi: 6900LP H: 1 / Yami Marik: 1400LP H: 3
Yami Marik wasn't doing well; he was enraged by the damage this nobody inflicted onto him. He will not accept it. He cannot!
''I WILL NOT ACCEPT THIS!'' He begins to yell out in fury, his Spiritual Energy growing in rage and hate. ''I WILL NOT LOSE TO SOME FOOLISH MORTAL! MY TURN!''
He draws his top card and immediately grins excitedly.
''I discard 2 cards to activate Magical Stone Excavation! I now add a Spell Card from my Graveyard to my hand.'' He declares, sending 2 cards to add a Spell. He then grabs his remaining cards in his hand, setting 1 and activating the other. ''I set a card and once more activate Card of Sanctity!''
Jonouchi startles as both duelists draw 6 cards. Snickering ominously, Yami Marik then proceeds as he discards a second copy of the fake Ra from his hand. ''I discard a card from my hand to activate the set Continuous Spell, Millennium Revelation!'' His set card flips open and glows.
''I now add the card…'' He begins to announce as a card pops out from his Deck and reveals it with a disturbing, grinning face. ''Monster Reborn.''
Jonouchi worries as that means he can revive Ra again.
Yami Marik can see his combo with Juragedo in his hand, another copy of Sun God Unification, Granadora and Blaze Cannon. He has the perfect combo to torment and kill his foes, once and for all.
''I will make you suffer with my perfect combo! You will die here and now!'' Yami Marik proclaims as he snickers, summoning a monster. ''I summon Granadora!'' An ugly reptile-like monster appears on his field.
Granadora Lvl 4 ATK: 1900 DEF: 700

This shocks the villain as Jonouchi explains, sending his card from his hand to the Graveyard. ''Red-Eyes Soul lets me Special Summon a Red-Eyes monster from my hand or Deck!''
A card pops out as Jonouchi grabs it and summons it forth. ''I'm counting on you, my passionate black dragon!'' A torrent of black flames emerges behind him and flying out of them is Red-Eyes, letting out a strong roar. ''Let's go partner, Red-Eyes Black Dragon!''

''It makes no difference.'' Yami Marik proclaims with a smug smirk, confident that he can't lose with Ra now on his field as he laughs. ''Hahaha. I will remind you of the pain I inflicted you with Ra's fury! HAHAHAHA!''
''… Yea… if you weren't going to lose here and now." Yami Marik's laughter is cut short by Jonouchi's words. The darkened blonde headed smirks, finally waiting for this moment as he shouts as his last set card flips over. ''Reverse Trap open, Red-Eyes Spirit! With it, I can Special Summon a Red-Eyes monster from my Graveyard! Come forth, Red-Eyes Soul!''
Manifesting to the field is Red-Eyes Black Dragon, somewhat in pain by its expression, as its left wing and claw are missing, leaking out pale pink smoke. Yugi manages to catch a glimpse of the new Red-Eyes and startles as it resembles the original Red-Eyes after it was badly damaged during the duel against the brainwashed Jonouchi way back in the first Battle City.

Yami Marik stares unimpressed by this new Red-Eyes monster, finding it massively weak. However, Jonouchi smirks as he proclaims confidently. ''With this, I win.''
''Excuse me?!'' The evil Marik utters puzzled as Jonouchi explains his new monster. ''Red-Eyes Soul targets a Red-Eyes monster in my Monster Zone and inflicts damage to you equal to its ATK!''
Everyone startles with Yami Marik being the most shocked, screaming out loud. ''N-NANI?!''
Red-Eyes Soul breathes heavily, letting out dark red energy and transferring it to the original Red-Eyes.
''…'' Breathing calmly, Jonouchi relaxes before he shouts loudly. ''GO, RED-EYES!'' Red-Eyes Black Dragon roars, opening its fangs and charging a sphere of dark red energy. ''DARK MEGA FLARE!''
The black dragon fires its signature attack right at Marik, bypassing all of his monsters. Yami Marik has a face of horror, not having Spell of Pain to redirect the damage. He can't do anything, uttering out in terror. ''T-THIS ISN'T-''
His words are cut short as the fiery sphere hits him directly and explodes on impact.
''AAAAWWWW!'' Yami Marik screams in agony as he's blasted backwards as his Life Points hit 0.
Duel Screen: Winner... Katsuya Jonouchi: 6900LP vs. Yami Marik: 0LP
Anzu and Honda are silent, not believing this and yet it did happen.
''H-He did it…'' Anzu mutters softly with a small smile with Honda unable to control himself and shouts loudly. ''NICE ONE, JONOUCHI!''
Driving on her car, Mai suddenly stops on its tracks. She looks around, like… like a grief that she's been doing her best to move has just faded away. Like her horror and agonist all those years ago have been lifted. She slowly smiles, muttering out. "Jonouchi, you did it, didn't you?"
The monsters faded away with Jonouchi letting out a deep exhale, calming down. It's like all of his pain and fury towards this monster have finally left his system. Jonouchi pants heavily, thinking this was the hardest fight he's gone through.
''You know…'' He begins to proclaim, looking at the defeated, speechless Yami Marik as he speaks his mind. ''As much as I hate your guts, I learned I can't hate a scumbag like you. I don't have to like you, but I won't beat you with revenge either or be afraid of you.''
The darkened blond headed smiles a bit, recalling the words Mai told him and he thanks her mentally. ''Mai… thanks.''
Yugi watches that and smiles, knowing he would win… until he becomes worried when he sees Yami Marik's expression.
''Damn you…'' Uttering out fully enraged, Yami Marik cannot help but lose all of his impatience. He lost to this worthless nobody. HIM. OF ALL PEOPLE! He couldn't take it as he started going berserk. ''DAMN YOU! DAMN YOU!'' His energy starts building up before he grabs the grip of his sword and shouts, unsheathing it. ''TORMENTO!''
His body erupts in energy, transforming him. His body becomes tanner and his hair longer while wearing a demonic-like pharaoh's outfit with a headdress with sharp horns and the face of a demon. He's shirtless to reveal the Hollow hole on his chest as he wears a longer cape similar to his old one. He also wears a black metal neck choker, arm bands and wrist bands; each having a red gem.
''Caminante Muerto!'' He announces with his tongue sticking out, wielding a pair of twin, demon-like Khopesh blades.
''… The what?'' Jonouchi questions, really worried. Honda isn't sure either but Anzu knew, telling him. ''It's called the Dead Walker!'' Now Jonouchi worries even more than he already was.
Snickering as the power erupts through his body, Yami Marik declares eagerly, licking the flat of his sword. ''Now you will die along with your friends!'' As he gazes at Jonouchi with killer intent.
Yugi panics as he rushes over there but Maximilian's soldiers stand in his way. He grits his teeth, needing to reach over there before it's too late.

Jonouchi: I finally beat Marik… and I'm going to die for it.
Ichigo: I hope I can FINALLY reach Yugi-kun on time Nya!
Jenny and Masaya journey quickly with the two mons while she's clearly concerned how her little brother is doing and the others. Still, they have a mission as she looks at Riolu and Skitty, asking them. ''Are we close, you two?''
Skitty doesn't answer, focusing on picking up Ichigo's scent across this empty desert.
''Riofu!'' Riolu barks, saying that Skitty is tracking Ichigo's smell and he's trying to sense her aura or well trying to. Jenny understands him with a smile, saying. ''Keep it up then, you two.''
Masaya looks at her and asks. ''So you can understand them?''
Jenny looks at him and nods, explaining. ''Seemingly Ichigo and I share that ability. After all, I can become a dog.'' She takes a deep sniff and proclaims with a smile. ''And I can smell her too.''
However, Jenny and even Skitty catch a scent of smell but it's moving away.
''But her scent is coming from…'' She begins to say as they turn behind them. ''Behind us?''
Masaya blinks, not following what she means by that until Skitty starts purring happily. ''Nyan-Nyan!''
Jenny understands her and becomes surprised, uttering out. ''So Ichigo is…'' As she looks at the direction back to where they left Yugi and the others.
Jonouchi gulps as he backs away, trying to protect Anzu and Honda from the transformed Yami Marik.
"I'm not scared of any-'' Jonouchi begins to tell him off, raising his Duel Disk arm forward only for Yami Marik to instantly swing one of his blades. His strike cuts and dismantles his Duel Disk, leaving only the wrist attachment and his Deck untouched. Jonouchi makes a stun, freaked-out expression before he utters out worryingly. ''Okay, I am now.''
Snickering even crueler than usual, Yami Marik grins at the frightened fool who was humiliated but now he will be no more, all of them.
''You will all die painfully now.'' He begins to proclaim as he comes charging at the blond headed first. "Starting with you, JONOUCHI!"
Jonouchi panics while Yugi slashes down multiple soldiers to reach his friends but Maximilian finally appears in his way and thrusts his lance into the ground, releasing an explosive shockwave that blasts Yugi, Greymon and Taichi backwards like a tsunami hit them.
"EVERYONE!" Yugi screams, not able to save them as the sand consumes him. Kojan watches this and ultimately scoffs annoyed.
Yami Marik laughs to hear his scream as he swings his right blade at Jonouchi, standing his ground to protect his friends. It seems over until a spark of lightning flies past the Arrancar and then a voice shouts. ''RAIKIRI BLADE!''

Yami Marik immediately panics as he backs away fast as an electric coated blade swings to intercept his attack, revealing to be Kojan.
Everyone is shocked as the sand tsunami is blasted away by Yugi and Greymon. The tricolor head breathes heavily as he looks at the others and startles to see him there.
''Kojan-kun?!'' Yugi utters in awe yet is relieved that it's him. Jonouchi is also just as confused; not sure if he should be mad that he just showed up to save them.
''Tch, was hoping to not reveal myself yet. Can't help it.'' Kojan begins to complain as he twirls his electrical Dragon Sword, gazing at the enemy. Maximilian gazes at that one, remembering him as the same who stood in their way last time. But how did he arrive here?
''Y-You again.'' Yami Marik utters out, shaken in his core as he remembers his electricity shocking his slime form that he thought he was going to die, again. Kojan looks at him and smirks over confidently before he taunts him, still very unimpressed even with his released state. ''I hope you give me a better challenge unlike last time.''
Yami Marik narrows his eyes before he grins and comes charging like a berserker. Kojan scoffs as he utters out. ''That won't work. Rising Limit.'' Burst of electricity blasts outward, causing the Arrancar to once more panic as he flies backwards. He watches as Kojan emerges unchanged except his sword has transformed into a wavy zig-zag edge blade with its guard now as a pair of widened dragon wings with lightning bolt ends and the grip remains the same while the hilt has twin sharp, lightning bolt chains. ''Dragon Rakurai!''
Yami Marik hisses furiously as he comes at him again with an insane fast Sonido swing that Kojan causally dodges by moving his head backwards, evading the swing. The Arrancar staggers as he swings again but Kojan moves to the sides by taking a single step. He continues dodging each of the Arrancar's fierce fast swings without trying much, not even looking at him directly and smirking. Jonouchi and the others are left speechless by how insane he moves. No wonder Yugi couldn't even fight him; Kojan is in a different league.
''How?" Yami Marik questions as he swings faster but then Kojan blocks both his swords with his own, still smirking as the Uchiha taunts him. ''What's wrong? I thought you enjoy making others go through pain?" He starts to push him backwards, sparks of electricity fly out across his swords. "Does it scare you that you're all talk and no bite?"
Those words hit the dark Marik greatly as Kojan stomps his foot across his chest and immediately manifests a Susanoo leg, blasting him backwards. The Arrancar growls, grinding his feet across the sand to not fall backwards but Kojan doesn't care as he raises his evolved sword towards him, beginning to declare. ''SQUALL RELEASE!'' His sword suddenly glows, supercharged by the heated, electrical energy building up as Kojan shouts, moving his sword downward in a slash. ''THUNDERSTRUCK ERUPTION!'' He swings the sword and fires a heatwave-like lightning attack that instantly consumes and vaporizes only half of Yami Marik if he doesn't move out of the way.
Jonouchi and the others are left further speechless by how frightening Kojan is.

''Hahaha!" Kojan laughs, seeing the dread across Yami Marik as he calms down and tells him. ''Big talk from a monster. Even your slime ability can't-'' Kojan's words are cut short when he notices the ominous grin across the Arrancar's face. Soon that half of Yami Marik's body instantly regenerates and reforms his body back like he took no damage.
Now it was Kojan who was in awe as Yami Marik snickers. ''Surprise? Thanks to my Resurrección, my ability of regeneration is amplified to new levels! You can't hurt me now!''
Glaring annoyed, Kojan quickly shouts, swinging his sword. ''DRAGONAUN RAIGEKI!'' He fires a powerful lightning bolt slash at him and hits him directly… but he takes no damage. This shocks Kojan as Yami Marik begins to laugh, revealing eagerly. ''HAHAHA! And my new ability also lets me adapt to your attacks with ease!''
He now raises his sword hands forward, lifting up his fingers towards Kojan and shouts. ''TORMENTO BALAS!'' He fires powerful yet small blue energy shots at the Uchiha.
Kojan quickly manifests the skeleton ribcage of his Susanoo, blocking the unique Balas attacks. The Uchiha smirks only for him to realize the bones and structure of his Susanoo are melting.
''And my attacks are acid, melting your silly defenses and you with it!'' Yami Marik declares excitedly, coming at him while he fires more rapid acid shots. Kojan tries to manifest the stronger form of Susanoo until the form literally melts apart to his shock.
''NOW DIE!'' Yami Marik shouts with a twisted grin, vanishing. Kojan startles, completely off guard as Yami Marik uses Sonido to appear in front of the Uchiha. He then laughs, swinging a slash at him until a spinning Strawberry Bell gets in front of him, forming a pink barrier and blocking the enemy's attack as well as repelling him back.
''NANI?!'' Yami Mari utters in shock. Kojan is silent as the barrier vanishes as the heart-shaped weapon is immediately caught by the arrival of Mew Ichigo in her Evolution form, breathing heavily. The others are shocked while Yugi slowly smiles softly.
''Phew…'' Gasping for breath as she reverts back to her Mew base form, Mew Ichigo turns to eye Kojan, smiles in a taunt. ''Hey there Nya! Guess I return the favor huh?''
Kojan scoffs though he appreciates the save.
''Ichigo!'' Mew Ichigo blinks, turning to see Anzu waving her arm at her, smiling. The cat girl blushes red, waving back… until she freaks out. She sees Anzu, Honda and Jonouchi and the cat girl yelps in horror. ''HUH? WHY ARE YOU GUYS HERE?!'' She turns to Yugi and instead of being happy he's here; she starts yelling at him for his recklessness, pointing her finger at him uncontrollably. ''YUGI-KUN, WHAT THE HELL NYA! THIS PLACE IS FREAKING DANGEROUS AND YOU BRING THEM HERE NYA!''
''…'' The others are pretty taken back that she's complaining for that but it does make sense. Yugi still smiles warmly, missing her yelling.
Maximilian is confused how the woman got here but Yami Marik hisses with a twisted grin, wanting to have his fun with that cat.
Greymon blinks, able to catch her scent and blushes as he tells his partner on top of his head. ''Taichi, she smells nice!''
''Ah thank you-'' Overhearing that compliment, Mew Ichigo begins to thank him until she realizes that she's talking to a DINOSAUR, causing the cat girl to freak out in shock. ''WWAAA! IS THAT A DINOSAUR KAIJU NYA?!''
''LATER MOMOMIYA!'' Jonouchi yells at her, just as confused and dumbfounded as she is. Kojan scoffs as he eyes Yugi and orders him. ''Yugi, use Burst Limit already! I don't have the patience to use up my energy to fight weak opponents like them.''
''…'' Yugi stares at him silently before he looks at his girlfriend. Mew Ichigo smiles, nodding that she should settle this now. Smiling back, Yugi responds determinedly. ''Right!''
Yami Marik hears that and laughs at his naivety, calling him out. ''It doesn't matter what you try, boy!'' Maximilian agrees as he declares calmly. ''You cannot best us in our strongest forms! It's futile-''
''No.'' Maximilian makes a surprise face as Yugi protests, staring at both as he reveals. ''This has been my warm up.''
This shocks the two Arrancars, not possible. He couldn't be holding back. Yugi just smirks as he quickly sheaths his sword and begins to chant with a calm yet powerful tone. ''Dragon of the Heavens, roars across this universe beyond reality and fantasy. With these bonds, with these emotions; forge the blade of hope!"
He immediately unsheathes the sword but nothing happens. Twisting the handle of the sword with its flat side facing forward, Yugi roars loudly with a serious face as his eyes glow red. "BURST LIMIT!"
The Dragon Sword begins to ignite in bright purple flames.
"Swing kindly! Erupt passionately! Roar proudly!" The Dragon Sword begins chanting as the flames spread across Yugi, consuming him before taking on the form of a dragon-like man in armor. "EXPLODE~ DRAGON KNIGHT OF FRIENDSHIP!"
The dragon figure lets out a devastating roar, followed by a pair of dragon wings and a dragon tail wrapping and unfolding them, spreading them wide, as it then swings the blade upward and then swings downward with such force that the flames blow away like a wave.
"BURST~LIMIT!" The powerful chant shouts, trembling and quaking the whole ground of Las Noches, alarming everyone.
''W-what is this?!'' Maximilian utters, never feeling such force before. Soon the flames dissolve and shooting out of the vanishing flames is a figure that twirls and spreads his dragon wings and tail, revealing to be Yugi in his new Dragon Blade form and sword. Twirling the blade before swinging it downward to his front, Yugi proclaims passionately before taking on a powerful pose. ''The Power of my Bonds: The Dragon Blade!''

Everyone is speechless as Yugi's form has completely changed to what his previous Dragon Blade Mode looked like. Even Taichi and Greymon are taken back as this isn't the same form as before. They are also speechless that Yugi is actually flying with those wings on him, flapping and his tail wagging around calmly.
''Is this Yugi's-'' Anzu begins to comment, not ever seeing Yugi in his Burst Limit but Jonouchi protests in awe. ''No, it's different! It's completely different!'' Honda nods in agreement, gulping by the sheer presentation.
Mew Ichigo stares with bright rosy cheeks, not sure why but seeing the dragon features oddly turns her on but also the gaze from his eyes. He's kept her promise to her, causing her to slowly smile warmly.
Kojan, however, has the opposite reaction with widened, shocked eyes. He can feel Yugi's power better than the others.
''How the hell did his Burst Limit change? Why?!'' He begins to question in dismay, never feeling this power before. How did his power; his form changed so quickly?! His previous Burst Limit was never- It's when Kojan realizes it. ''Could it be that Burst Limit from back then was not his true power but this is?!'' Kojan concludes, taken back as the Yugi he fought before wasn't even his full strength.
Maximilian looks worried as he too can feel a building pressure of suppressed power throughout Yugi's body like a bomb about to explode and take anyone it wants to destroy and yet he looks like a gentle pillow.
''Something is wrong with this form. We should-'' Maximilian begins to advise the other Arrancar but Yami Marik shouts with an eager grin. ''LIKE I CARE!'' He hasn't forgotten what Yugi did to him in Battle City V3 and he won't tolerate the boy to reach a form that could BEST HIM?! No, not again! He will not underestimate this pest, this weakling.
"HE'LL DIE NONETHELESS! TORMENTO BALAS!'' He shouts, firing a barrage of miniature slime Balas across his body, all of them coming at Yugi within seconds of touching them. However, the attacks would never touch him as they immediately vaporized before they could even get near him. This shocks Yami Marik, taken back by that. ''N-NANI?!''
He fires more of them but none touch him to his horror. ''M-my attacks just…''
Kojan is also speechless too; his Sharingan eyes are able to see the heat emitting across Yugi's body as aura.
''PERNO DE LIMO!'' He shouts, as a brief moment his face becomes like a Hollow and spits out a barrage of slime-like bolts shot upon the others. Yugi, still floating in the air and not moving away, cuts through the blade, dissolving it with a single swing. He swipes his blade with a swing, showing it is completely undamaged.
''H-he cut through my attacks and no damage happen to him?!'' Yami Marik utters in confusion, not believing this.
Maximilian has seen enough as his Hollow soldiers all charge at each of Yugi's friends. Seeing this, Yugi vanishes as he moves with insane speed to slash down each soldier with a single slash each and each one is instantly consumed in purple flames, screaming in agony before dropping hard. However, Maximilian appears behind Yugi to everyone's dismay. He scoffs, immediately thrusting his lance at his- He soon widens his eyes as Yugi, already facing him almost out of nowhere, smirks as he swings his blade and easily repels his lancing strike and blasts Maximilian away like a tennis ball.
''H-he reacted to my greater speed?!'' Maximilian questions mentally, finding that impossible. He soon gets mad as he shouts.''No matter!'' He raises his lance upward as it releases surges of lightning. It hits all the Hollow Soldiers as the flames dissolve off them and they all fly, surrounding their leader.
''Attack! FORMACIÓN: CARGA DEL EMPERADOR!'' Maximilian commands as his soldiers all fly down at Yugi, surrounded in intense energy. Jonouchi panics as Taichi tries to order Greymon to assist.
However, breathing calmly, Yugi's eyes flash red as he becomes transparent in that single second; moving so fast that it leaves an afterimage all while he slashes down each of Maximilian's charging mindless soldiers once, one-by-one, before returning back to his spot. Only Kojan could see him move like that with his Sharingan eyes, horrified at what he just witnessed.
Twirling his blade once, all of the soldiers explode into pieces to everyone's shock.
''H-He…'' Yami Marik begins to utter in dismay while Jonouchi yells out of astonishment. ''He shredded them into ribbons!'' Mew Ichigo is silent, never seeing Yugi move like that and also seeing him smiling with confidence.
Frowning enraged as this isn't possible, Maximilian frowns in disbelief. He now moves in fast at Yugi, swinging his lance at him with multiple, energy enhanced thrusting strikes. ''HUELGAS DE TIRANO!''
Raising his left arm to guard, Yugi simply utters out. ''DRAGONAUN BARRIER.'' Purple flames erupt and manifest into a dragon-like energy shield that blocks all of Maximilian's strikes. Then Yugi bashes him backwards with ease, even chipping and cracking his lance.
''Yugi manifest his own shield Nya!'' Ichigo gasps in astonishment.
Hissing at this, Yami Marik sticks out his tongue as swirls of red energy form at Yugi and shouts furiously. ''CERO!'' He fires a destructive red beam that consumes and explodes upon the Dragon Knight. The others watch, bracing themselves as the smoke of the attack clears up and watch as Yugi emerges, unscratched as his shield blocks that whole attack to everyone's surprise.
Yami Marik widens his eyes in dread, not believing this. "H-he block it?!'' He's losing his composure, yelling furiously. ''H-HOW IS HE THIS MUCH STRONGER?!''
Before Yugi says anything, Maximilian tries to move with Sonido, thrusting his spear right through Yugi's right side only for his spear to be stopped by the tip of Yugi's Dragon Blade, stabbing through its tip and tossing him away with ease. Maximilian doesn't take it well, floating in the air to stop himself.
''W-what the hell…'' Uttering out, also losing his once confidence, Maximilian demands coldly. ''ARE YOU!''
Yugi, not responding yet, simply swipes his left arm to the side as the shield vanishes.
''Want me to tell you?'' The tricolor head begins to say to the two villains. He then flaps his wings and blasts himself higher above them, floating above the two Arrancars as he smiles.
''Well simple; I'm the Dragon Knight.'' Yugi begins to proclaim with a small smile before he becomes serious. His body then erupts in bright purple aura all while his red eyes glow menacingly and frightening upon the two Arrancars, looking down at them. ''And this fight is over.''
Panicking as they must end this fight, Maximilian manifests all of his soldiers into a powerful formation, surrounding himself and Yami Marik as he orders them all. ''Together!'' As he slashes his free hand with the tip of his partly damaged spear. Yami Marik hisses as he bites his lips, blood spilling before he sticks out his tongue as he charges a bigger energy sphere as does Maximilian. Then each of the mindless soldiers charge up their own Ceros, all of them aimed at Yugi.
Kojan panics as he's about to jump in until he notices Yugi's calmness. No, does he assume he can take their combined attacks.
Watching them, Yugi moves his right arm behind him, aiming his Dragon Blade in a thrusting pose. Once fully charged, both Arrancars then shout. ''GRAN REY CERO!'' Maximilian fires a pale blue energy blast while Yami Marik releases an orange blast while the other soldiers fire the same red beams; all of them combining into a massive destructive blast. Everyone panics as Yugi can't stop all of those attacks coming up at him but Mew Ichigo is still quiet, able to tell that he can.
''Roar…'' Yugi begins to utter out as he flies downward, thrusting his Dragon Blade forward as purple flames wrap around it. ''Dragon that thrusts into the Earth.'' The flames spin rapidly and grow before taking on the form of a large, drill-like fiery energy point of a spiraling lance.
''DRAGONAUN LANCER!'' He roars as he flies faster, clashing upon the two powerful combined enhanced Ceros and starts piercing through them to the Arrancars' horror. They try to pour more power but Yugi just pierces forward.
''RRRRAAARRWWW!'' Yugi roars louder and stronger, the drill part of his energy lance spiraling and absorbing the energy of the colliding attacks, growing in size. He then rams his lance right through all of the mindless soldiers guarding their master and all of them thrusted and vaporize in flames. Maximilian is forced to move to raise the shield part of his lance to guard himself. Yami Marik panics as he screams as the lance pierces through him and he consumes in flames.
Maximilian quickly thrusts his lance as he shouts. ''LANZO DEL EMPERADOR!'' His lance is consumed in energy and spiraling rapidly as he thrusts it at Yugi's attack… only for the clash to last in seconds before his lance cracks and breaks apart. He widens his eyes in dismay as he now shouts, raising and holding his shield forward. ''ESCUDO DEL EMPERADOR!'' His shield is engulfed in energy, intercepting the powerful spiraling lance in its place. He can hold this; he will withstand this and then- Sadly, there won't be an and as the shield starts cracking, this force too much for it to his dismay.
''T-this cannot…'' He tries utterly as the shield quickly gives in and shatters as the lance consumes him too and he too screams in agony, flames covering throughout his body. ''HHHAAAAWWW!''
The energy lance soon glows and explodes, blasting away everyone in its path. It destroys all of Maximilian's soldiers while the bodies of the two Arrancars hit the ground like meteors. The only one still soaring in the air is Yugi, spinning around as he grips on his Dragon Blade.

Ichigo and the others are speechless, astounded that Yugi won. The cat girl smiles again, able to tell that Yugi has grown so much more than before. She eases her worries.
Kojan is more observant as he turns to his side to see Yami Marik's burning, bubbling slime body reduced into a puddle. He tried to become that slime form to withstand the flames but all it did was make him suffer greater damage.
''Of course. Yugi realized since his body is acid, a fire-like attack can damage his slime body to the point of melting him.'' The Uchiha concludes that Yugi's attack was the key to defeating that foe as well as the other's abilities.
''And Maximilian's shield was pierced through along with his army.'' Mew Ichigo utters out in agreement, astonished how hot those flames burned.
Yugi breathes as he descends quickly, landing in front of the fallen, badly burned Maximilian. He grunts in agony, his body not responding and his weapon destroyed in the process. All this power and he was still bested, again.
''H-how can this be…'' The former prince utters in defeat, looking up at the figure standing the victor over him. ''H-How…'' He grits his teeth, his face filled with dread and humiliation. ''How can I… not be able… to kill you?''
Yugi looks down at him, not with a face of disappointment but petty; frowning that he'll never understand the value of true power that comes from others.
''I think we both know that answer.'' He says, hoping he gets the message as he turns his back from him, walking away. ''And why you never will beat me either.''
Maximilian grunts as his vision becomes blurry and drops unconscious.
Bubbling in agony, Yami Marik tries to reform himself but the painful burn across his liquid form is too much.
''D-DAMN-'' He starts to curse out, unable to scream correctly before he's completely garbling, acidic bubbles form where his mouth should be at and stabbed by a katana coursing electricity. His slime eyes widen, rolling his eyes in agony to look up at Kojan, glaring down at him coldly and menacingly.
''You won't get mercy from me this time.'' The Uchiha proclaims, grabbing the grip of his sword. Yami Marik stares in absolute horror, trying to do something but Kojan immediately releases Dragonaun Raikiri from his sword, shocking the pile of slime. It gargles in complete before he's immediately silent. The slime oozes like a puddle of water, still and lifeless.
Kojan pulls up his sword as he turns to Maximilian, approaching him.
''Now you're turn.'' He proclaims, going to put him out of his misery until Yugi gets in his way, telling him kindly yet mad. ''Stop it, Kojan-kun! You already killed the evil Marik-kun and Maximilian-kun can't even fight back. Let him be.'' He tells him with a calm yet firm face.
Kojan just glares enraged at his stupid decision, telling him off furiously. ''Even with your true power, you're still a soft fool playing hero!''
Yugi glares seriously, both gazing at the other and up close. Taichi blinks as he gets off Greymon, glowing as he shrinks down back to Agumon. Looking at those two; he's oddly reminded of Yamato and himself.
Jonouchi and the others watch, concerned that another fight is about to start but Mew Ichigo yells at Kojan. ''Hey, he's a kind hero who saved your butt!''
''…'' Silent before he scoffs, Kojan walks away from Yugi's path. The cat girl sighs as some things haven't changed with him.
Jonouchi walks up to Yugi and tells him with an elbow bump on his arm. ''Go buddy, she clearly wants you.'' He then whispers to his ear. ''Also, those wings are badass!''
Yugi snickers as he jumps and floats towards her, calling her out. ''Ichigo-kun.'' Mew Ichigo looks at him and her eyes stare warmly towards him. The two stare at each other, blushing joyfully to see the other. The last time they were separated in between a barrier but now nothing is blocking each other.
Taichi hums, wondering if- MAYBE? This might be the girl that he wants to save.
Smiling brightly, Mew Ichigo begins to say as she crosses her arms behind her back in a cute manner. ''I knew you would come to save me, Nya. But you took way too long to-''
The tricolor head giggles, admitting he did take long and was going to let her finish… until suddenly Yugi and Kojan's senses went crazy as the Dragon Knight immediately runs forward, grabbing Jonouchi by the arm to his surprise.
Ichigo doesn't follow until her cat senses went crazy as the masked Arrancar instantly appears behind her. She barely turns around just as both Dragon Knights run at her with Yugi shouting. ''ICHIGO!''
It all happens fast as the Arrancar touches her shoulder, grabbing it just as Yugi reaches him, swinging his arm with little time to reach him just as he vanishes along with the cat girl. Both Yugi and Kojan hit the air as the Arrancar escaped with Ichigo.
The others are taken back, even Agumon who panics as he didn't smell that one coming.
''Damn it! That one is still fast.'' Kojan complains, annoyed, still angry about last time. Yugi agrees and yet he smirks, proclaiming. ''But not smart!'' He moves his left hand over his head, touching his forehead with his index and middle finger of that hand. He focuses and proclaims. ''I know where Ichigo-kun is.''
''By her aura or?'' Kojan begins to ask him, not sure how he knows if their senses-
''Where's Jonouchi?'' Honda asks, looking around as he doesn't see him. Anzu agrees until both she and Kojan realize that he was next to Yugi when- OH!
''Buying us some time.'' Yugi answers as he floats towards his friends. He picks up Anzu, carrying her by her back waist with his free arm while his dragon tail wraps around a surprised Honda, freaking out. He turns to Taichi and Agumon, asking them. ''Taichi, Agumon, hop on my back!''
Taichi blinks but smirks, nodding. He and Agumon run up to him as they hop on his back, gripping onto his wings.
Yugi turns to Kojan and tells him. ''Kojan-kun, if you want to settle things with me; best you follow us because I don't have time right now to spare.''
Kojan just looks at him, getting the message.
''Hold on tight!'' Yugi tells his friends as he turns around and presses his right foot on the ground before he jumps up high with such force before blasting off flying all while Honda screams in utter surprise and horror. ''WAAA!''
''…'' Silent as he's all alone, Kojan grunts angrily before he dashes off, chasing after him. He'll have to play along for now. Besides… that Arrancar worries him more than Yugi's growth.
Riolu startles, sensing the change of aura as he barks. ''Riofu!''
Jenny looks at him and becomes alarmed as she shouts. ''Ichigo moved location!''
This alarms Masaya as Jenny focuses. She can feel her and actually close by so Jenny isn't going to waste any time.
''Not playing this game anymore.'' Jenny proclaims, pulling out her Mew Pendant and declares, kissing it. ''Mew Mew Plum! Metamorphosis!'' Her body begins to glow and transform herself, becoming Mew Plum as she picks up Riolu and orders Masaya. ''Let's go!''
Masaya nods as he closes his eyes. Swirls of blue energy wraps around him before he cuts the energy away, transformed into the Blue Knight with his trusty sword.
Mew Plum smirks as she holds tight on both Riolu and Skitty before the two dash off at top speed to where Ichigo is at now.
''WA!'' In that instant she vanished before Yugi, Mew Ichigo gasps in shock as she's in a different location. She looks around in a panic until she freaks out in horror, staring down at Aizen sitting on a throne chair with Tosen and Gin, waving at her, standing on both his sides.
Sipping on his cup of tea, Aizen begins to speak kindly to the young girl. ''Welcome back, Momomiya-kun. I wanted to see you before I left Las Noches and you leave as well.''
Ichigo gulps, looking behind to that Arrancar before she faces him, realizing he knew she escaped.
''So you knew Tier-san wouldn't-'' She begins to conclude only for the masked Arrancar to vanish but not before swinging his arm and tossing a figure gripping on him, yelling out. ''WA!''
The cat girl startles, turning around to see it's Jonouchi, grunting as he hits the ground.
''EH? JONOUCHI?!'' She yells in terror that he's here. In fact, HOW IS HE HERE?! Rubbing his rear end as he stands up, Jonouchi explains himself. ''Yugi sure loves to surprise anyone with what he does, managing to have me grab onto that guy.''
In that single second, Yugi pulled and latched Jonouchi to grab off the masked Arrancar before he vanished along with Ichigo. The blond headed looks around, really unfamiliar where the heck he's at now in this insane place.
''So you're one of Yugi Mutou-kun's friends.'' Aizen, astonished that he did not sense someone so weak, says calmly. Jonouchi turns around to see a guy that looks even more smug than Kaiba of all people… but boy he looks SO handsome and he's a dude who likes girls.
''Who the hell are you! One of that Aizen's men?'' He questions with a small smirk, thinking he can beat him to a pulp only for Mew Ichigo, sweat dropping, reveals to him. ''He is Aizen.''
Jonouchi slowly drops his jaw, his confidence melting as he's really taken back by this guy's appearance.
''BUT HE'S HANDSOME!'' He yells out in protest, not believing someone so evil is handsome.
''And evil Nya!'' Mew Ichigo corrects him hissing. Aizen cracks a small chuckle, replying. ''Evil? After how I've treated you; would such a word describe me?''
That isn't going to fool her, telling him off. ''You kidnapped me and Orihime-chan! You did this just to taunt Yugi-kun and get him to come here!''
Aizen looked at her, impressed that she understood most of his plan… most, of course.
''And yet my plan didn't turn out as I wanted.'' He says with an unfortunate voice yet sounding amused. ''Soul Society didn't bother sending their best here so I will have to deal with them at their best.''
Jonouchi makes a face, not following.
''So wait, you did all this to trick everyone? You didn't even need Orihime-chan for your cube thing Nya?'' Mew Ichigo utters with puzzled yet awed expression. Aizen smirks as he responds calmly. ''You could say that. But I had to confirm one thing from you.''
She frowns worryingly, not sure what he wants to-
''Wait, you said you're leaving?'' Jonouchi suddenly asks, recalling what he said.
''Oh yes.'' Aizen begins to proclaim, standing up from his throne as he smiles calmly. ''I intend to become a God.''
Jonouchi gulps, not liking the sound of that. Mew Ichigo just frowns as she questions him angrily. ''… Then why bring me here Nya?! Other than Yugi-kun caring for me, I have nothing you have that would-''
''Momomiya-kun, are you that blind?'' The cat girl startles as Aizen gazes towards her, feeling like this is the perfect time to tell her what she's been denying. ''My reason I capture you wasn't just to have Mutou-kun and Soul Society to come after me but to hopefully see your hidden power.''
''… W-what do you mean?'' Uttering nervously, Mew Ichigo starts to question him uneased. Aizen just smiles as it amuses him that she refuses to acknowledge that power.
''You really don't think the times you gain a burst of power from your fury were a fluke or a dark miracle of sorts?'' He begins to say, making the cat girl think back on those times she lost control and how she gained power through it.
''No. Your power comes from within you, something you wish to deny unlike like your friend, Erika Aoyama-kun.'' Aizen then says which Jonouchi immediately yells at him with an angry fist. ''Leave Erika-chan out of this bastard!''
Aizen narrows his eyes towards him as Jonouchi suddenly feels paralyzed and panicked, not by his power but his authority gaze. Smirking softly, Aizen looks back at the cat girl and resumes. ''Then let me reveal the truth.''
Ichigo stares at him, listening closely as he begins to speak. ''You, Ichigo Momomiya-san…'' Multiple energy screens show moments of Ichigo succumbing to dark power; from the first time she fought Deep Blue… from the time she fought Kojan as the power fully manifests and transforms her right before her visibly shaken eyes. ''Possess an Inner Demon.'' A large screen shows the transformed, berserk Ichigo and grinning ominously.
The cat girl is silent with a pale expression and slightly half open mouth. Jonouchi is also panicking, not able to accept these.
''T-those images are false!'' He yells, no doubt a way to get into her head. ''Right, Momomiya?''
No reply. Jonouchi looks towards her and sees that Mew Ichigo has an expression of horror with widened eyes all over her face. It's all coming back to her; that day; that moment… that offer of power. That voice… the Inner Demon in her, the Inner Tiger. She remembers it all and it's too much for her, tears dripping from her eyes. She… she almost…
This gets to Jonouchi who yells at Aizen and small grinning face. ''Smug bastard, you're an ass to break down Ichigo's mentality and screw with her!'' Aizen still shows humor, further pissing the blond head who raises his fist furiously. ''So help me, Yugi will beat you and put you in your damn place for everything you did!''
Tosen squeezes his right hand tightly by that insult while Gin grins of amusement by the young human's raw passion.
''I wonder.'' Aizen comments, almost looking forward to that possibility. Sadly, this may not be the day as he turns his back. ''Now if you excuse me, I have my other guest to speak to.''
They prepare to leave until Aizen looks to the side at the masked Arrancar, standing there almost like a ghost having only vengeance.
''Oh yes.'' Aizen begins to utter, cracking a small smile. ''You may have your way with them.''
The cat girl snaps out from the revelation, watching as the masked Arrancar walks up and moves past Aizen. He smirks as he and the others vanish with instant speed.
Now just the 3 of them, the masked Arrancar narrows his sight to the two before him. Jonouchi sweats, worrying, gulping while Mew Ichigo trembles, not sure if they'll survive.
Back on Earth, in Equalord Enterprise, the Dark Lord is sitting on his throne chair and gazing at a screen of Karakura Town- Scratch that, a fake version of that small city and the reading of spiritual energy building up. No doubt Soul Society is preparing for the arrival of Aizen and his Arrancar army.
''So Aizen is making his move huh?'' Akumu mutters, swirling around his cup of wine. He sips on it and soon cracks a small grin. ''Good.'' He sets his cup on the table and stands up, walking away as Evangeline joins beside him on the right, smirking, and Dark General Knight on his left. Soon Arkham, Vlad and Eggman join behind him as Akumu adjusts his tie.
''Then it's time we make our move.'' He proclaims confidently as his eyes turn into demonic, red dragon eyes. ''And time to head out…'' As in the back of his office are a few figures in the shadows; one resembling Metal Sonic, the other as the silhouette of Selvaria and the last resembles a male… with a pair of inverse colored Mangekyou Sharingan eyes. ''My Executioners.''

While Yugi was still training and Ichigo was still captured; Akumu is plotting what his next course of plan should be to save his niece. However, he will have to postpone it when a certain Uchiha visits him again, demanding answers and filled with nothing but hate and revenge now. How strong is this new Sasuke Uchiha to the Dark Lord's forces and how far will he go?
Akumu paces around furiously.
Evangeline: Hmm, guess he's still mad about what happened to his niece.
Dark General Knight: Indeed, ma'am. As for why; maybe it relates to how pure she is or how much she looks like her mother.
Evangeline: … I see. I don't blame him; I have my own feelings towards my former master. He-
Arkham appears: My apologies but we have a guest. *shows that Sasuke and his team have entered the building.
Akumu stops himself: So he's come. Best we say hello to him. Next time in Yu-Gi-Oh! Dragon Knight Reborn: The Will of Hatred and Power! Sasuke VS the Dark Lord Army!

I am happy to give Jonouchi the win he deserved for a very-VERY long time and he did it through the card or I guess the moment that the old Marik thought he had killed Yugi all the way back to the first Battle City; Red-Eyes Soul. I am really happy Konami made that card. Still, would be cool if Jonouchi got that Ra. Oh well... maybe... in another timeline.
So how strong is True Dragon Blade Mode now- Oh, we haven't even started to see how much stronger Yugi can get. Let's say right now he is a rival to Kojan now but still not strong enough… yet. Yugi's next fight will reveal what I mean.
Also the shocking truth. Guess another reason why Ichigo and Erika are close other than being great best friends; they're both Inner Demon users. So are the other Mew Mews- no. I have plans on how one is an Inner Demon user but I won't discuss them right now. Just know not all of them need to have a human partner. But so far, we have the scorpion, the tortoise and the tiger.
Next time we're taking a small detour (small, don't worry) and going back a bit in time… like 2 weeks ago. And yes, it's Sasuke and now Taka making a new play. AND YES, this takes place after Killer Bee because Taka Sasuke is weak compared to the early Five Kage Summit version… well back then. You'll see.
So next week no DKR, taking 2 weeks off. We will resume with the next arc after the 2 weeks on the 13th of June. See you all there!
