Aether Team Flashbacks Part 1
Hello, everybody. RGKecleon here. In this chapter, I will be covering the preview of flashbacks of the Aether Team in their adventures set two years before the events of Tiny Toondom Hearts: Worlds in Danger. Their first adventure will be set shortly before the events of the First Tiny Toondom Hearts. Their first adventure will be called Tiny Toondom Hearts: Another Side. Now here are the flashbacks:
Flashback 1:
In a chamber, there are 9 crystals where 9 children are sleeping, but also 9 cylindrical containers where 9 Digimon are there and 9 Pokeball-like crystal capsules. The 9 crystals started to turn off as they reveal Caleb along with Aria, Luke, Sara, Caeli, Kibou, Rei, Ila, and Abelyn. The 9 of them are wearing tattered brown one piece clothing. In the cylindrical containers are the Digimon who are a Dark Blue Veemon, Lunamon, Dracomon, Pulsemon, Floramon, Luxmon, Herissmon, Hackmon, and Pomumon. From the Crystal Pokeballs came out a Shiny Mew, Rainbow Swirl Alcremie, Shiny Absol, Shiny Celebi, Shiny Popplio, Shiny Pichu, Shiny Sobble, Shiny Fennekin, and Polteageist.
Caleb:(Drowsily)Where are we...?
Sara rubs her eyes before seeing her surroundings.
Sara: Everyone is here.
Caeli: How much time we were asleep?
Caleb: Who knows?
The team then summons their Keyblades minus Caeli and Kibou who weren't able to do it. At least not yet.
Luke: We still have our Keyblades.
Abby: Our Digivices.
Sara: And Pokeballs.
Ila: Maybe we should go outside.
Rei: You're right, sister.
The group went through the corridors with their respective items.
Veemon(Dark Blue): What happened before arriving here?
Lunamon: Tabuu was defeated and then everything went black.
Dracomon: That was an intense battle.
Herissmon: The enemy was stronger than our Mega Forms.
Pulsemon: Even I have not the strength to Digivolve.
Hackmon: All of us don't have the strength.
Floramon: Without forgetting all the destruction.
Luxmon: I hope everything is back to normal after the battle.
Pomumon: Me too.
The group continues walking and passed the stairs too.
Shiny Mew: Mew!
Caleb: Mew is calling us. Let's go!
First, Aria and Caleb steps out.
Aria: Hey, you gotta see this!
The whole group gathered before seeing the extended field, the trees all green, and blue skies. A paradise of beautiful nature.
Luke: Things returned back to normal.
Suddenly, the stomachs of Caeli and Kibou grumbled, causing them to blush in embarrassment.
Kibou: Sis, I'm hungry...
Caeli: Me too...
Caleb: Don't worry. We'll search for food.
The group went to explore the place and surroundings as they've managed to find apples, edible mushrooms, oranges, and peaches as they gathered the food.
Luke: I doubt very much that we'll fill ourselves with pure fruit and mushrooms. We need protein.
Caleb: I'll search in the trees and the river.
Caleb climbs the trees and found eggs. In a pond, he found fish before casting Thundaga to zap the fish before grabbing them.
Caleb: There.
For the eggs, a very flat stone was used as a frying pan to fry the eggs while the fish and mushrooms were roasted over the campfire and lastly, the fruits were washed before eating them. After having their meals, the two siblings were feeling a bit tired that they've decided to take a nap.
Luke: I don't blame them. Caeli and Kibou are 5 years old.
Sara: Normally at that age, they need to sleep a bit more.
Caleb: Maybe we should take a nap too.
The group nods in agreement before taking a nap after their meals. Suddenly, someone touches them and they opened their eyes, seeing an apricot-colored star-like being with black eyes.
Kibou: Is that a Digimon?
Luxmon: I don't think so. I've never seen him before.
Floramon: But it looks friendly.
Caeli: And cute too.
The apricot-colored star being flew around the group looking at it and transforms into a rabbit with apricot-colored ears.
*Gateway Galaxy - Super Mario Galaxy*
Rabbit: Finally, I found you all. Now let's play.
Herissmon: What?
Hackmon: Did it just say it wants to play with us?
Veemon(Dark Blue): Right now, we barely woke up.
But then the rabbit bounces away.
Lunamon: Hey, wait up!
Pulsemon: We're trying to figure out what are you?
Pomumon: I guess we'll have to play with that non-Digimon.
Dracomon: Then let's go!
Luke: You heard Dracomon. Let's go!
The group nods before following the rabbit with apricot ears until they found other two rabbits with yellow ears.
Caleb: OK. We finally found you. Now we need...
Apricot Rabbit: Let's play hide-and-seek.
Rei: What!?
Ila: Oh, come on!
Abby: Look, right now, we have things to do.
Yellow Rabbit #1: If you catch all three of us, we'll explain to you everything.
Sara: Well, I guess we have to play with them.
Caeli: It will be fun playing hide-and-seek.
Caleb: OK. Just like the old times.
Apricot Rabbit: Ready? Go!
Then the three rabbit creatures scattered before disappearing.
Aria: Well, just like the old times.
Kibou: Right.
The group began searching around the place for the rabbits and later on, Caleb finds a bush moving and goes for the bush and saw that one of the rabbits have hopped out of the bush and Caleb caught it.
Caleb: Gotcha!
Yellow Rabbit #1: You caught me!
Then the rabbit transforms into a yellow star with black eyes.
Pulsemon: Another one?
Sara: Except it's yellow.
Yellow Star #1: I knew I should've hide in the burrow.
Floramon: The burrow?
Caeli: Of course. Rabbits hide into the burrows.
The group explores until they found a burrow.
Ila: Hmm, let's see.
Ila jumps into the burrow and finds the apricot rabbit who hops out of the burrow.
Rei: Oh no you won't!
Rei ran faster and caught the apricot rabbit who transforms into the apricot star.
Apricot Star: If only I'd hide in the ancient pillars.
Hackmon: Thanks for the tip.
The group went to the ancient pillars where they found the second yellow rabbit who was hopping away, but Kibou manages to catch the rabbit.
Kibou: Yes!
Then the yellow rabbit #2 transforms back into the second yellow star.
Yellow Star #2: Wow! You caught all of us! Maybe you can go see Mama.
Aria: Your…Mama…?
Yellow Star #2: Follow me!
The group follows the yellow star and it takes the group to what looks like an ancient altar.
Yellow Star #1: Go up.
The group climbs up the altar and as they reached the top, they see a woman with blue eyes, pale blonde hair with a big bang covering her right eye, wearing a light blue dress with a yellow star in the middle, star earrings on both ears, a silver crown, and is carrying a star wand.
Woman: I finally found you after sleeping for 1,000 years.
Aria: 1,000 years...? What's your name?
Woman: My name is Rosalina. I watch over and protect the cosmos. I also watch over the worlds.
Then she pulls out Star Shards, just like the one used by Buster Bunny to travel across the worlds during the Birth By Sleep events.
Rosalina: If you don't know it, the worlds are in grave danger. These Star Shards will allow you to travel to the Comet Observatory and other worlds too.
Then she gave the Star Shards for the group.
Rosalina: May your heart be your guiding key...
Then Rosalina disappears.
Caleb: Here we go!
Then the Aether Team uses the Star Shards to travel to their next world.
*Stop Music*
Flashback 2:
(Taisho Japan)
Both Aria and Sara who were 14 years old while Kibou who is 5 years old are in company of Lunamon, Pulsemon, and Luxmon. They saw a man with white hair, wearing a red shirt, and white pants, but that man has fangs and injured the neck of a young woman around 19 years old, wearing a black kimono, and a pink haori. She has butterfly hair clips in both sides of her hair and her katana is also broken.
Aria: Hey, you leave her alone!
The man with fangs turned to see the two teenage girls and their Digimon.
Man: Oh my. Fresh meat.
Woman: Get away from that demon...!
Sara:(Startled)Demon...!
Demon: That's right. I'm Doma. Nice to meet you.
Aria: Not for us...!
Even if Aria could see that charming smile on the demon, she didn't look convinced and turns to Sara and hands Kibou to her.
Kibou: Sister...
Aria: Sara, take care of Kibou and heal that woman. Me and Lunamon will fight against Doma.
She summons her Keyblade and pulls out her D-Ark and then Lunamon starts to Digivolve.
Lunamon: Lunamon Matrix Digivolve to...CRESCEMON!
Doma: This could get interesting.
Aria: You mean things will get ugly!
*Night of Fate - Kingdom Hearts*
Doma pulls out two fans before swinging them, but they were blocked by Crescemon's blade who then uses Ice Archery to fire an ice arrow. Then Aria triple slashes Doma with her Keyblade and casts Firaga, but then the demon released an icy breath, but Aria quickly casts Protega and while they are fighting against Doma, Sara and Kibou are seeing the injured young woman.
Sara: Are you okay?
The woman got up weakly and was streaming some tears.
Woman: I think so...But what are you two doing here?
Sara quickly summons her Keyblade.
Sara: Heal!
She quickly casts Curaga and heals the woman from her wounds, but she is still tired.
Woman: What was that? Who are you?
Sara: I'm Sara and that was a healing spell.
Pulsemon: I'm Pulsemon.
Kibou:(Shyly)Kibou...
Luxmon: I'm Luxmon.
Woman: I'm Kanae Kocho...
Sara: Kanae, please take care of Kibou while I'm fighting against that demon!
Kanae nods as Sara and Pulsemon went to face Doma while Kibou stays with Kanae. However, he and Luxmon nods at each other and Luxmon starts to Digivolve.
Luxmon: Luxmon Digivolve to...PIDDOMON!
Sara and Pulsemon watches and then they decided to do the same.
Pulsemon: Pulsemon Warp Digivolve to...BOUTMON!
Then Sara along with Boutmon and Piddomon joins Aria and Crescemon.
Doma: More members, the merrier.
Doma went faster and slashes both Sara and Aria while Kanae quickly covers Kibou's eyes, but Aria quickly casts Curaga to heal herself and Sara too. The demon then sent ice lotuses towards both girls, but Piddomon swings his staff to block the attack. Boutmon uses Buden Blast to fire energy shots from his hands, followed by Sara performing Sonic Blade and casting Thundaga, Crescemon using Lunatic Dance to slash Doma with her Nova Luna Blades, Aria casting Blizzaga and then performing Strike Raid. Then Doma summons several lotus' vines made of ice which lashes the team members.
Sara: That demon is stronger...!
Aria: Just a bit more...!
Doma swings his fangs again, but Piddomon blocks the attack before using Piddo Speed to dash at lightspeed and bashing Doma with his Holy Rod, Crescemon then uses Dark Archery which fires an arrow of darkness, followed by Aria performing Stun Impact and casting Blizzaga, followed by Boutmon using Storm Blows to deliver a Close Combat-like move against Doma. Sara performs Ars Arcanum and Ragnarok and for finishing touch, Aria performs Prism Rain Shotlock, while Sara performs Thunderstorm Shotlock. Before Doma could attack, the sunrise was getting close.
Doma: Uh-oh! My time is up. But it was a pleasure in meeting you all.
*Stop Music*
Doma disappears from their sight. The three Digimon reverts to their regular forms, but then they hear Kanae groaning in pain.
Sara: Kanae!
Then both Sara and Aria went and supports Kanae to get up.
Aria: We'll help you...!
Kanae got up weakly, but smiles with a gratitude.
Kanae: Thank you...
?: Sister!
Then they turned to see another young woman around 16 years old with black hair and tints of purple. She has a butterfly hairclip, wore the same uniform as Kanae, but a white haori. Then Kanae streams some tears, feeling lucky that she was saved in time, or she could not see her little sister.
Kanae: Shinobu...
Aria couldn't help but stream tears of relief, realizing that she saved a sister from a different family and turns to see the girl named Shinobu.
Aria: A demon attacked, but we saved your sister. Now we must hurry up!
Shinobu streams some tears of relief, but then she nods before joining to assist Kanae and heal her wounds.
Flashback 3:
(Delfino Island)
The Guard Armor was ready to fight against the Miura Cousins along with Abelyn and their Digimon at Delfino Island.
Rei: Okay, let's do this!
*Shrouding Dark Cloud - Kingdom Hearts*
Then the three of their Digimon starts to Digivolve.
Herissmon: Herissmon Digivolve to…FILMON!
Hackmon: Hackmon Digivolve to…BAOHACKMON!
Pomumon: Pomumon Digivolve to…PARASAURMON!
Filmon uses Crimson Slash which emits red energy to slash the Guard Armor, followed by Baohackmon who uses Fif Cross to slash with his claws, while Parasaurmon uses Wavy Octavist which emits sonic wave-like attack. Rei summons Remote Bombs and hits them with his Keyblade like a baseball, Ila casts Meteor Shower to rain down meteors made of energy, while Abby uses Strike Raid to throw her Keyblade at the Heartless. The Guard Armor fell to the ground.
*Stop Music*
Filmon: Is it over?
But then the Guard Armor got up. It flips upside down, it's arms are now the feet, it's feet are now hands, and it's helmet opens up, revealing it's eyes. Now it became the Opposite Armor.
*Destiny's Force - Kingdom Hearts*
Ila: Uh-oh…
Rei: We have to keep fighting.
However, the Miura Cousins along with Abby and their Digimon are being overpowered by the Opposite Armor who attacks by spinning it's body, stomping it's feet to the ground, and even forming a cannon firing a beam which hits everyone. Before it could launch another attack...
?: Fire!
A fireball hits the Opposite Armor and the gang turns to see a man wearing plumber clothes and red cap, just like the previous description is Mario and has a Kingdom Key, but has a mushroom as Keychain.
Mario: Let's-a go!
The gang nods before turning to see their Digimon partners.
Rei: Come on! Time for the next level!
The children pulls out their Digivices.
Filmon: Filmon Digivolve to...STEFILMON!
Baohackmon: Baohackmon Digivolve to...SAVIORHACKMON!
Parasaurmon: Parasaurmon Digivolve to...TOROPIAMON!
Mario: Whoa...!
Stefilmon: Let's end this together!
The other two Digimon nods, then Saviorhackmon uses Meteor Flame to shoot fireballs like a gatling gun, Toropiamon uses Petal Carnage to fire explosive pollen, and Stefilmon uses Vermillion Vortex to fire a crimson energy tornado with the three attacks defeating the Opposite Armor.
*Stop Music*
The Heartless starts to shake until a glowing heart appears before disappearing along with the Heartless.
Flashback 4:
(Taisho Japan)
Caleb was 14 years old, Caeli was 5 years old, and Luke was 16 years old, their Digimon Veemon(dark blue), Dracomon, and Floramon, and one Shiny Mew, also Aria, Sara, and Kibou with their Digimon are there and were invited to stay with Kie Kamado along with her daughter Nezuko and the siblings Takeo, Shigeru, Hanako, and Rokuta.
Luke: Thank you for your generosity.
Kie: No problem.
Shigeru: I hope our brother arrives here.
Hanako: Me too.
Caleb: I'm trying to wonder why Rokuta was asleep?
Nezuko: He still misses his father who passed away not long ago.
Takeo: Also, the hanafuda earrings were passed to our brother Tanjiro, just like each older sibling from our family each generation.
Caeli: How was your father?
Kie: He was quiet, wise, and loving person. Even when he was ill, he still dances the Hinokami Kagura to celebrate the family's tradition.
Caleb: Hinokami Kagura...?
Caleb was trying to wonder, seemingly hearing those words before, but his thoughts were interrupted as he felt a strong presence of darkness coming close.
*Hesitation - Kingdom Hearts II*
Caleb: Someone is coming. And he doesn't has good intentions. Whatever happens, don't open the door.
Takeo: What?
Caleb felt that dark presence getting closer. He was getting tense as he watches Rokuta and Caeli, clearly both being younger children. He couldn't let anything bad happen to them. Then he summons his Keyblade and uses Flowmotion which came at lightspeed and bursts through the door and slashes the person who was getting closer.
Rokuta: How did he do that?
Luke: We have the ability to feel dark presences.
Caleb saw the man who is dressed like Michael Jackson, his skin is white, he has black hair, and red eyes. Then Caleb notices the sharpened claws and the form of the eyes.
Caleb: You're a demon...!
Demon: King of the Demons, child.
Caleb gasps in shock as he recognizes the demon.
Caleb: Muzan Kibutsuji...! But you died...!
Muzan: Very clever in identifying me, Caleb. But I didn't die. My last cells managed to escape and I regenerated and stayed hidden for many years. However, I have unfinished business with that family.
Caleb defends the Kamado Family.
Caleb: What do you mean? They are just coal sellers!
Muzan: Many years passed and you are blind to see it or remember it. They pretend to be coal sellers when in reality, they are wielders of the Sun Breathing, a last trace of Yoriichi's bloodline which must be erased forever.
Caleb: They are children! Not one of them could be Sun Breathing Wielders!
Muzan: Children yes. But they will grow up and I won't allow it!
Caleb narrows his eyes
Caleb: Over my dead body!
*Stop Music*
Then he prepares his D-Ark and Veemon starts to Digivolve while Shiny Mew appears.
Veemon: Veemon Matrix Digivolve to...MAGNAMON X!
Then Luke joins Caleb.
Luke: I'll follow you!
Then Dracomon starts to Digivolve too.
Dracomon: Dracomon Warp Digivolve to...WINGDRAMON!
The two Digimon are facing the King of the Demons.
Muzan: Do you think your two pets can stop me? Then try it if you can!
*Nothing to Lose - Castlevania: Harmony of Despair*
In the blink of an eye, Muzan dashes at highspeed, but Caleb did the same with his Flowmotion and clashes his Keyblade against the claws of Muzan, but then he performs Aerial Slam which hits the King of the Demons two times. Before he could attack, he performs Quick Blitz, followed by Shiny Mew using Psychic, Magnamon X using Magna Blast to fire plasma balls, Wingdramon using Blaze Sonic Breath to breathe a stream of fire, and Luke performing Stun Edge, Zantetsuken, and Aerial Sweep. While Caleb and Luke were fighting against Muzan, Sara was watching the Kamado Family.
Sara:(Whispers)Hurry up! We have to escape!
Then they assisted the family to escape from Muzan who uses his claws, but to clash with brace armor of Magnamon X who uses Magna Punch and Magna Kick. Then Caleb performs Slapshot, following with Sliding Dash, and casting Triple Plasma, while Shiny Mew uses Psycho Cut, Luke then uses Blizzard Edge and follows with Fire Raid with both attacks hitting Muzan who then was then hit by Wingdramon using Exploding Sonic Breath to strike the King of the Demons with his back lance. But then Muzan performs a 360 degree kick with bloody energy which hits them all and grabs Caleb by the throat before pinning him into the snow.
Muzan: A feeble effort! A child like you cannot defeat me in battle!
But then he turns to Kamado House which is empty, meaning that the family escaped and he glares at Caleb.
Muzan: Very clever, but they won't escape from me...!
Suddenly, Shiny Mew fires Ice Beam which froze Muzan's left arm and allows Caleb to break it, but then Muzan dashes towards the family as his left arm slowly regenerates. The family was running, but then Rokuta and Caeli trips in the snow.
Sara: Caeli!
Hanako: Rokuta!
Muzan appears and tried to claw directly at Rokuta until Nezuko got in his way and got clawed in the scruff and at the same time, untying her hair.
Rokuta:(Crying)Sister!
Muzan: A small obstacle, but it won't prevent me from reaching my goals...!
Floramon: Look out!
Then Floramon starts to Digivolve.
Floramon: Floramon Digivolve to...KIWIMON!
Kiwimon then uses Pummel Peck to fire egg bombs which hits Muzan who then lunges again, but Magnamon X uses Aura Barrier to summon a barrier of light around the whole family, then Caleb performs Meteor Shower Shotlock, while Luke performs Flame Salvo with both attacks hitting Muzan and before he could attack again, he watches the sunrise coming close.
Muzan:(Growling)The sun...!
Caleb: It's too late!
Then Caleb performs Meteor Crash which hits Muzan who was then forced to flee.
Muzan: Maybe you have won this battle, but there are still more demons outside there, hunting more humans.
*Stop Music*
He then disappears. Then the Digimon reverts to their regular forms while Nezuko is unconscious.
Rokuta:(Crying)Sister...!
Caeli:(Crying)Is she...?
Caleb: She is unconscious.
Suddenly, they hear someone walking in the snow and the group turns to see a teen who has a characteristic haori of black and green squares.
Hanako: It's Tanjiro.
Tanjiro: I could smell blood. What happened? Who are you all?
Caleb: It's a long story.
Flashback 5:
Caleb's group brought Tanjiro's family to the Comet Observatory.
Caleb: There. You will be safe here. There's a bedroom, hot springs, and a kitchen. Everything you need.
Rokuta: When will we return home?
Then Caleb ruffles Rokuta's hair.
Caleb: Until that monster is defeated and your sister Nezuko is reverted back into a human.
?: Hey, cousin!
The group turns to see Rei, Ila, and Abby with their Digimon and Mario included.
Caleb: Welcome back.
Luke: I'm glad you're back.
Caleb ruffles the hairs of his two cousins while Luke hugs Abby.
Caleb: So, did you have luck finding Mario?
Ila: Yeah. We were in Delfino Island, fighting against Heartless, but also a Guard Armor which transformed into an Opposite Armor.
Rei: Luckily, Mario was holding a Keyblade and helped us defeat that Heartless.
Ila: Then he instructed us to come here for some kinda proper training with our Keyblades.
Caleb: I see. Apart from beating monsters and training, I also need to check a family.
Caleb and his two cousins glanced at the Kamado Family who are the last Sun Breathing Wielders since Kie Kamado was generous with him along with his girlfriend and siblings. Now it is his duty to reciprocate her generosity and help them with chores.
Rei: I'm trying to wonder what are they doing here?
Caleb:(Whispers)As you can see, the King of Demons named Muzan Kibutsuji went to their house with no good intentions. We had to fight against him while the Kamado Family had time to escape, but Muzan clawed Nezuko, turning her into a demon. Despite us saving most of the family, it was not safe for them to live in their home. Therefore, I moved them here while Tanjiro went into a quest to become a Demon Slayer to find a cure to turn Nezuko back into a human.
Both cousins nodded in understanding while Kibou and Aria are seeing the stars. Kibou was crying with a few tears in his eyes.
Kibou: How I wish mom was here with us.
Aria looks up sadly and is holding her little brother closer and comforting him.
Aria: Me too, Kibou.
However, Kie came to comfort the two with a hug. Even if she is not their mother, clearly she could understand their pain.
Luke: It's OK. You will be safe here.
Tanjiro's siblings nodded in understanding, but still shaken from Muzan's last encounter.
Caleb: So, Mario, right? I'm Caleb.
Mario: Nice to meet you.
And after hearing the remaining introductions and after the explanation.
Aria: Well, possibly there could be Heartless there and we must find the Keyhole in the Taisho Period.
Sara:(Shivers)At the same time, we must fight against those demons...
Caleb and Luke could understand Sara's fear to the night monsters like the demons.
Luke: Don't worry, sis. You'll be safe with us.
Caleb: At the same time, we must see how are Tanjiro and Nezuko doing.
Mario: And then we'll go back to Delfino Island in the search of hints about the Heartless. Possibly there could be more of them.
They nodded in agreement.
Kie: Please be careful out there.
The Aether Team couldn't help but smile warmly at the kind words of Kie Kamado.
Caleb: We will.
Flashback 6:
When Mario arrives at the Comet Observatory, he manages to recognize the Lumas, especially the apricot-colored one and also recognizes Rosalina who recognizes Mario too.
Rosalina: I see you're back, Mario. And this time the Keyblade chose you.
Mario: Excuse me, Rosalina. But how do you know about the Keyblade?
Rosalina: The Keyblade is the one who chooses its wielder and the Keyblade you wield has chosen you as it's wielder. When a Keyblade Wielder is chosen, it works to fight against the Heartless with some of them obeying their masters. But your world isn't the only one in danger. There are other worlds too beyond this one.
Mario: Other worlds?
Rosalina: Yes. Apart from the galaxies in the Comet Observatory, there are other different worlds and the Heartless are a threat from those worlds. They search for the heart of the worlds.
Mario: Heart of the worlds?
Rosalina: Every world has life and the heart of the worlds has the form of a Keyhole which is the key to the heart of the world. If the Heartless consume the heart of a world, said world will disappear into the darkness along with the people and other creatures who live there. Therefore it's up to a Keyblade Wielder to seal the Keyhole and save every world.
Mario: Now that I remember, the Koopa Troops have Heartless working with them.
Rosalina: That means that Bowser has the control of the Heartless. But at the same time, the Heartless are using Bowser as a puppet. And at the same time, it's time for you to do the Mark of Mastery to become a a True Keyblade Master. Are you ready for this, Mario?
Mario: Yeah, let's-a go!
That's it for the first part of the flashbacks for Tiny Toondom Hearts: Another Side. Next time we will cover more flashbacks where the Aether Team will travel to more worlds.
