Chapter 6: Tatsuya Hitoshi Versus Kenshin Kobayashi!
The 1 hour lunch break was over, and all the students headed back to the stadium.
"Get those foam fingers in the air! It's almost time for the last round!" Present Mic announced. "But before that: Good news for everyone who didn't make it into the finals. Since this is a Sports Festival, we've prepared some super-fun side games everyone can participate in!".
"We even brought in cheerleaders from America to get your blood pumping!" Present mic said until everyone saw Class 1-A girls dressed up as Cheerleaders. "Hold up! Looks like Class 1-A in goin' Full on fanservice!".
Once Tatsuya saw Izuki dressed as a Cheerleader, he rushed over to her while being flustered as he said to her; "Izuki, why in the world are you dressed like that?!".
"Well, once I heard we were supposed to wear this for a cheerleading battle…" Izuki started saying. "I sort of put on the cheerleading uniform without a single thought going through my head. I mean, I did want you to come over and see what I was wearing, but once we figured out it was a trick, it was already too late. Ha ha ha…".
"Well? How do I look?" She asked him. "Do I look good?".
"Y-Yeah… You look really cute, babe!" Tatsuya said while blushing.
"Gee, thanks!".
"She's so cute and sexy in that cheerleader uniform!" Tatsuya thought.
"Wait…" Tatsuya began to say. "You said you were tricked, right? By who?".
"Minoru Mineta and Denki Kaminari." She replied.
Tatsuya turned around towards the two and began chasing after them as they began to run away in fear as he shouted out; "Come here, you little perverts! I'm going to kill both of you for making my girl wear that!".
Ryuu instantly appeared and grabbed Tatsuya as he chuckled and said; "Now, Now, Tatsuya. I like your enthusiasm, but please, save it for later, okay?".
"Have fun competing in these little side games, everyone!" Present Mic says as everyone noticed a tournament roster along with the match-ups and fight schedule appeared. "After they're over, the 16 students from the top four teams will be duking it out one-on-one in a tournament-style fighting competition! I promise you're not gonna wanna miss these epic match-ups!".
"All right!" Hanzo shouted out in excitement. "We're finally getting the chance to show what we're made of! I'm so pumped up!".
"Come closer and draw lots to see who you're up against." Midnight said. "Then enjoy the pleasure of the recreational games before we start. The 16 finalists have the option of participating in those activities or sitting out to prepare for battle. I'm sure you all want to conserve your stamina. I'll start with the first place team."
Everyone went up and drew lots in a straight line.
"Take a look at the brackets, my dears. These are your opponents!" Midnight announced as the Tournament match-ups appeared.
"It seems I'm going up against Kenshin Kobayashi in the First Match. It also seems that Hikaru is going to go up against Tsuki for his first match, but I'm worried about my second match with Homura Araya…", Tatsuya thought. "Homura Araya already knows what I can do. Whatever Homura will be planning, I'll have to watch out for that… But thankfully, I'm the third-last to go up for the first match…".
"Okay. Let's press pause for a momentary interlude. Before the battle begins, it's time for some pulse-pounding side games!" Present Mic announces.
As the recreational games commence and many of the finals qualifiers use the opportunity to prepare themselves, Tatsuya was able to watch his girlfriend be a cheerleader for the first time and thought about how insanely cute Izuki is in her cheerleader uniform.
During the side games; even though the students were told to have fun, those of them in the tournament couldn't relax. Some tried to rest their bodies. There were those who prepped for the fight, or tried to hype themselves up. And others still who just focused on trying to calm their nerves. They wanted to be ready for anything. And before they knew it, the Finals began…
Cementoss was finishing up building the fighting arena before the first competitors were coming out.
"That's it. I'm pretty much done here." Cementoss said.
"Thank you, Cementoss!" Present Mic said before announcing out; "Hey, sports fans. Are ya ready? After all the action you've already witnessed, it's time for the real battle to begin! Can ya feel the excitement? Our competitors are on their own Now! Sometimes, heroes have only themselves to rely on. Heart. Skill. Strength. Wisdom. Courage. They'll have to use all of these things to rise to the top!".
The first fight was the Shinso Twins versus the Midoriya Twins. Hitoshi and Hinako taunts Izuku and Izuki about Mashirao and gets them to talk, activating their Brainwashing Quirk. The crowd watches in horror as Izuku stands immobile in the middle of the ring. The first match of the finals is underway, but Izuku has stopped in his tracks. Hitoshi and Hinako orders Izuku and Izuki to turn around and walk out of bounds. The Midoriya obeys and starts walking towards the edge of the ring, much to the shock of everyone watching. Suddenly, The Midoriya Twins' power activates and they are able to move their fingers just enough to break them and regain control of their own bodies.
Hitoshi and Hinako watches in dismay and tries to get the Midoriya twins to talk to them again. The Midoriya Twins starts pushing them back and refuses to talk. The Shinso Twins punches them in the face and at their broken fingers to break their hold. The Shinso Twins tries to push the Midoriya Twins out of bounds, but the latter counters with a shoulder throw that sends Hitoshi and Hinako out of bounds. The match ends with Izuku and Izuki as the winners.
"The fight was ok. To be honest, I was expecting better. But I was glad to see my girlfriend win her first match." Tatsuya thought.
The next battle between Hanta Sero and Shoto begins immediately. Hanta starts off strong and nearly throws Shoto out of the ring, but the latter takes out his aforementioned anger by freezing Hanta in a giant ice prison. Everyone watches in disbelief of Shoto's power, and then Midnight confirms that Hanta is immobilized, giving Shoto the win. Shoto apologizes to Hanta for going overboard, blaming it on his anger. He uses his left arm to melt away the ice.
Once the massive amount of ice Shoto created is cleared from the stadium, the third match in the first bracket of the finals tournament begins. The bout is between Ibara Shiozaki from Class 1-B and Denki Kaminari. Present Mic introduces Ibara as an "assassin" which she takes exception to, and decides to correct him. She claims that it is her humble quest to spread good across the world, and that she would never kill her opponent. The announcer apologizes while Denki muses over how cute he thinks Ibara is. He regains his focus and asks Ibara out on a date, promising to console her after her defeat. Denki starts the battle with his Indiscriminate Shock technique, but Ibara blocks it with her Vines Quirk and ensnares Denki at the same time. With her opponent immobilized and short circuited, Ibara is declared the winner of the match.
Neito Monoma takes the opportunity to taunt Class 1-A.
"Guess he was right. That match really was over in just two seconds. I wonder if his Quirk is the ability to tell the future." Neito Monoma said. "Hey! Wasn't Class 1-A supposed to be so much better than us?".
Neiko Monoma, Neito's Twin Sister, glances over at Tatsuya and begins flirting with him.
"So handsome, besides being charming, strategic, and strong, why are you with a bunch of losers when you could be with us?~" She said flirtatiously. "Our class is so much better than this one and besides, we could end up together too. Wouldn't that be fun, handsome?~".
Izuki was becoming jealous and was about to say something, but a girl from Class 1-B with long orange hair in a high ponytail on the left side of her hair stopped them.
"Sorry 'bout them." the girl said with a friendly smile.
Itsuka Kendo. Age: 15 years Old. Quirk: Big Fists. Itsuka's Quirk grants her the ability to enlarge both of her hands to a gigantic size. With the increased size comes enhanced striking power and gripping capabilities.
Itsuka glances at Tatsuya and blushes slightly.
"You know… She wasn't about one thing. You are very handsome, not to mention Kind as well…" Itsuka said. "Again, I'm really sorry about them.".
"Don't worry about it and thanks for the compliment." Tatsuya says with a soft, friendly smile as he folded his arms. "What was your name, Miss?".
"Itsuka. Itsuka Kendo." She replied.
"I'll remember that, Itsuka…~" Tatsuya said.
Itsuka's smile widens a little and she blushes before she goes back to her seat.
"Nice girl, but I'm only interested in my Izuki…~" Tatsuya said before he wrapped his arms around Izuki who smiles and blushes from his affection.
The fourth match is supposed to begin next, but Tenya equips support gear and Midnight scolds him for it. He pleads for her to allow it because Mei offered him the equipment in order to keep the match fair. Aroused by Tenya's sportsmanship, Midnight allows him to wear the equipment and the "battle" begins. During the course of the match, Mei uses the opportunity to advertise her support items instead of actually fighting. After ten minutes of cat and mouse, Mei leaves the ring and apologizes for tricking Tenya, who is deeply upset that she turned their match into a commercial for her support items. Mina Ashido and Yuga Aoyama duel in the fifth contest.
Yuga Aoyama. Age: 15 years old. Quirk: Navel Laser. Yuga's Quirk allows him to shoot a powerful sparkling laser cannon from his navel. It is so powerful, it can blast through two meters of solid concrete. If he fires the laser for more than 1 second at a time, he will suffer intestinal distress.
Yuga rapidly fires his beam at Mina, but she slides swiftly across the ring to evade his lasers using her acid Quirk. Yuga gets a stomach ache after shooting off a large beam and Mina uses this opening to melt Yuga's belt and uppercut him. Yuga is knocked unconscious and Mina moves on to the next round. The sixth contest begins at once, with Fumikage facing off against Momo. The latter nervously contemplates her strategy, but the fight suddenly begins and Fumikage uses his Dark Shadow to barrage her with a flurry of strikes. She is able to create a simple shield to block him, but Fumikage focuses his attacks on her shield and pushes her out of bounds, ending the match rather quickly. Momo is disappointed with her loss, believing she never got to show off her skills.
As the seventh match between Eijiro and Tetsutetsu begins, Eijiro's fight drags with the two consistently trading blows using their similar Quirks. After striking one another over and over again, Eijiro and Tetsutetsu knock each other out. Midnight affirms that the match is a draw and the winner will be decided after the next match via an arm wrestling contest. Both contestants are hauled off on stretchers, and the next two participants take the field for the next fight of the bracket: Tatsuya versus Kenshin Kobayashi.
Tatsuya smiled as he thought; "I'm up against Kenshin Kobayashi. He probably awakened his Saiyan Powers during his training and trained to harness it as well, so I have to be careful. Other than that, This could be fun!".
As both Kenshin and Tatsuya stepped onto the Arena, Present Mic says; "The First rounds are half-way over! Next up is Kenshin Kobayashi of the Hero Course, who managed to get in by Recommendation!".
"Due to our info about Kenshin's Quirk, his quirk allows him to use a sword in battle as an extension of his body!" Present Mic said as Kenshin pulled out a Sword which seemed to be used in the Medieval Era.
"And on the Opposite side of Kenshin, we have Tatsuya Hitoshi! Who also got in the Hero Course by recommendation!" Present Mic said as Tatsuya began to stretch out a bit.
"Man! So many kids are getting in by recommendations!" A Pro hero said in the crowd.
"Yeah, but haven't you guys heard about that Tatsuya kid?!" Another pro hero said within the crowd. "I heard that the Tatsuya kid didn't just go toe-to-toe, but also defeated a villain that was on par with the All Might's at the USJ Incident!".
"WHAT!? No way!" Another one said.
"Now… Let us begin!" Present Mic shouted as the match began.
Kenshin quickly dashed towards me and threw his sword at me.
Tatsuya stopped his sword strike with a finger technique Ryuu taught him, the same move Goku used against Future Trunks in Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super. Kenshin began to push Tatsuya back as he began to deflect all of his sword strikes with his finger technique. They continue to do this until Kenshin jumps back, he stabs his sword into the concrete, and fires off an energy wave at me as he shouts out; "Masenko!".
The blast began to push Tatsuya back, but once he noticed he was getting close to the edge of the arena, Tatsuya bursted through the energy wave as he shouted out; "Hah!".
Once Tatsuya bursted through Kenshin's energy wave, Kenshin appeared in front of him, he gut-punched Tatsuya, and then began to push him back with each attack he landed on Tatsuya. He continued to push Tatsuya back until Tatsuya caught one of his punches and sent him flying with a ki blast at close-range at his stomach. Kenshin stops himself by grabbing onto his sword, he breaks a small part of the concrete as he brings it up into the air with his sword, and then he throws the concrete piece at Tatsuya. Tatsuya dodged it by suddenly appearing behind him and landed an elbow-slam on the back of his neck.
Kenshin caught himself as he slammed his left foot on the ground and he stood up straight as he pushed me back as he powers up in front of him, releasing his Saiyan Power and creating a Silky White Aura.
"I knew it! He did have his Saiyan Awakening during his training with his Father!" Tatsuya thought. "I need to be careful since he might be on par with me when I first awakened mine. He's probably going to fight me without holding back at all! Well then… I'll just have to show him what I can do too!".
"What's this?! Kenshin has suddenly powered up!" Present Mic announced. "This was never mentioned in Kenshin's Quirk registry Form! What a surprising turn of events!".
"Man, that guy is annoying." Ryuu said. "Though, it is a surprise how Kenshin can use his Saiyan Powers…"
"Well, he is My Son after all!" A mysterious voice said.
This guy was in his mid-thirties, possibly mid-forties. He had a Knight's armor on with a big sword on his back.
Keisuke Kobayashi, the 5th strongest being alive. Power: Saiyan/Knight's Evolution. His Saiyan power allows him to transform into a Super Saiyan and beyond. His Knight's Evolution power allows him, his armor, and his sword to become stronger in battle, making Keisuke one heck of a tough fighter on the battlefield.
"Keisuke…" Ryuu said. "I'm surprised you're here. I thought you'd be home training and miss out on your son's fight."
"Oh, don't give me that! You know I'm stuck here too unless you open a portal for me!" Keisuke said. "I'm here to cheer on my Son as well as seeing the look on your face once my son defeats your son in a one-on-one match!".
"Hmph. I wouldn't get so cocky if I were you." Ryuu said. "My son is a lot stronger than he looks thanks to me."
"Heh. We'll see about that! And besides," Keisuke said. "My son still has his ace up his sleeve!".
"Right back at you." Ryuu said.
"Hm?".
"Hey, Kenshin! You wanna see something cool?" Tatsuya said with a smirk.
"Huh? Uhhh, Sure?" he replies.
"Kaio-Ken!" Tatsuya says and unleashes his Kaio-Ken.
"Kaio-what–".
Tatsuya dashes towards Kenshin with an incredible burst of speed and lands a powerful punch to his face before the force of the punch pushes Kenshin back several meters. Kenshin stops himself before sliding back by stabbing his sword into the concrete and looks up at Tatsuya in shock.
"Wh-What the hell was that?!" Kenshin questioned.
"A technique I recently learned in my training." Tatsuya said in confidence.
"That's impossible! No one can just double their power like that in an instant!" Kenshin thought as he gritted his teeth furiously and unleashes his full power.
Tatsuya notices Kenshin flying up into the air. Once Tatsuya floated up to his level, he unleashes his Saiyan power in a sudden burst of power, generating a Silky White Aura with a shout; "Haaa!".
Tatsuya forms a Yellow Ki Saber as Kenshin says; "I won't be holding back anymore, Tatsuya!".
"And neither will I!" Tatsuya said as they dashed towards each other and clashed blades.
They began to exchange blows as they fought all around the stage.
They exchanged blows as Tatsuya began to think; "It's a surprise to see how Kenshin awakened his Saiyan powers too and is an equal to me, but thanks to my Dad's training I won't fall so easily! I'm way stronger than before! Once I defeat you, Kenshin, I will defeat Homura and then Tsuki. I will become the Next Chosen One!".
The Two warriors continued to exchange blows with their blades as Present Mic shouts out; "Holy crap! Just what in the world is going on here?! I can hardly see them at all!".
They continued to exchange blows all around the stage until Tatsuya pushed Kenshin back with a kick. Kenshin dashed towards Tatsuya and they went back to exchanging blows. The two exchanged blows until Kenshin jumped back, he dashed towards Tatsuya, and they clashed blades.
"Are you gonna use that 'Ace up your sleeve' or am I going to have to make you use it?" Tatsuya said. "Because right now, I'll be more than glad to make you use it!".
"S-Shut up!" Kenshin said as he pushed Tatsuya back with a heavy, but quick punch.
The two dashed towards each other and began to exchange blows all around the stadium.
"I-Is it just me or did they become faster?" Hanzo said. "Are they holding back against each other?".
Hikaru continued to watch Tatsuya and Kenshin fight against each other.
"It seems that way, but it also seems that Tatsuya is holding back immensely… When in the world did Tatsuya become so powerful?" Hikaru said.
The two continued to exchange blows until Kenshin suddenly jumped up into the sky and his clothes suddenly became a suit of armor as his sword became bigger and began to give off a bright yellow light.
"You wanted me to use my 'Ace up my sleeve', now you got it!" He said as he lifted his sword into the air as it became bigger and gave off a brighter light. "Kobayashi's Clan Secret Arts: Heavenly Blade!".
"Wow, it's even more impressive than I thought it was going to be!" Tatsuya said, smiling in excitement. "But I, too, still have my 'Ace up my sleeve'! But I won't use it just yet!".
Kenshin's sword becomes Massive in size. Kenshin spun his sword to go downward at Tatsuya as Tatsuya began to power up his Ki as Kenshin dashed towards him. Kenshin puts his sword in front of him like he was prepared to pierce through and stab Tatsuya. Tatsuya then unleashed his full power and stopped the attack with his bare hands. The Two warriors struggled to overcome one another, both determined to overcome one another with their power.
Flashback
Tatsuya was 8 years old and was training outside with his father, Ryuu before they took a break from training. Both of them chugged down a bottle of water before Tatsuya turned to look at his father.
"Daddy?".
"Yes, Tatsuya?".
"Can I ask what happened to you when you were fighting Uncle Tsukiya before awakening as the Chosen One?" Young Tatsuya asked his father.
"I already told you that story, Tatsuya." Ryuu replies.
"Yeah, but I always find it interesting, Daddy! Please!" Young Tatsuya says as he tries to have puppy dog eyes to beg his father to tell him.
Ryuu sighs. "Fine. I was fighting your Uncle Tsukiya when we were both 15 years old. We were on par with one another and in that fight, I was pushed to my limits and dug deeper into my power before drawing it out and awakening myself as the Chosen One. However, I truly became the real deal when becoming enraged and snapping. I unleashed my true strength and awakened myself as the True Chosen One, the real deal and not some self-proclaimed hero."
Young Tatsuya looks at his father in awe and wonder as he was speechless.
"I have no doubt you are the next Chosen One and when you awaken your Chosen One Powers, you have to be pushing yourself beyond your limits, find and control your rage, and then have the determination to keep fighting." Ryuu said as he ruffled Young Tatsuya's hair. "I know you can do it. You are my son after all, Tatsuya. Promise me, you'll protect everyone you care and love with this power and don't stop improving, keep pushing yourself beyond your limits, Son.".
Flashback Over
Tatsuya digs deep inside of himself and sees a blue spark of blue flames before it burns brighter. He screams out a loud battle cry as he powers up and unleashes a Blue pillar of Spiritual energy out of anger, surprising everyone except for Ryuu… The Blue Pillar of Spiritual Power disappeared as it covered Tatsuya's entire body.
"N-No Way! What the Hell is this?!" Kenshin says in surprise and confusion as he continues to thrust down his sword at Tatsuya.
The Spiritual Power begins to fade off of Tatsuya's body and he holds Kenshin's sword by the tip of the sword with his left hand.
"That's it, Son! I knew you could do it!" Ryuu thought with a happy and proud smile. "You finally did it! You finally awakened yourself into the New Chosen One! Now, use your newfound power to win against Kenshin! Do it, Tatsuya!".
Tatsuya gathers energy into his right hand and unleashes his Dad's Powerfulest energy wave as he shouted out; "Dragon… Flash!".
Kenshin was shocked by the powerful amount of energy and was taking Tatsuya's blast head-on as he was then being pushed back by Tatsuya's blast. Kenshin got out of the way of the blast as he appeared back onto the stage and breathed heavily. Tatsuya instantly appeared in front of him and sent him flying out of the ring with a punch straight to his face.
Kenshin stands back up before fainting and collapsing on the ground as Midnight announced; "Kenshin is out-of-bounds! Tatsuya moves on to the second round!".
Tatsuya headed up to the stands as Kenshin was sent to the Recovery Girl's office for treatment from his injuries.
Keisuke Kobayashi says; "Tch! It looks like Kenshin needs some more training!".
"Ha ha ha! Don't be so hard on your son!" Ryuu said with a smile on his face. "This is just the beginning of your boy training to become one of the strongest heroes in history! And besides, this should be a celebration since my Son awakened himself into the Next Chosen One! Especially when he was fighting against your son!".
"True, but I'm tired of losing to you!".
"Ha ha ha!".
Hanzo and Kazan walked up onto the stage as Present Mic's Twin Sister, Hazashiko Yamada appeared and announced; "It is now the energetic and overconfident boy; Hanzo Fuji, Versus the Calm and impregnable boy; Kazan Yamazaki! Let's get this match started already, shall we? Readyyyyyyyyy! Start!".
Hanzo and Kazan dashed towards each other, they clashed fists, and then began to exchange blows. Hanzo and Kazan exchanged blows as everyone was surprised to see their fighting skills. Hanzo jumped back, released a ton of electricity, and fired off an electrical energy wave. Kazan turned into steel and took it head-on. He reverted back to normal and powers up, unleashing his Saiyan powers. Hanzo unleashes his Saiyan Power before they both dashed towards each other and went back to exchanging blows.
After 10 minutes of them exchanging blows, they both flew back down onto the stage and reverted back to normal. Kazan quickly sent Hanzo flying out of the ring with a punch and was declared the victor.
"Kazan moves up to the next round!" Midnight announced. "Now, it's time for the last match of the first round!".
After being fully healed thanks to Recovery Girl, Kenshin becomes depressed and walks into the hallway to hide as he sits down and cries. Momo ends up following Kenshin and sees him crying. Her heart ached as she walked over and began to try and cheer him up.
"Hey. There you are. What's wrong?" She said as she sat down next to Kenshin.
"Just leave me alone, Yaoyorozu…" Kenshin said as he sniffled.
"Sorry, but I can't and will not do that until you are back to being yourself." She replied. "Now, tell me what's wrong.".
"I… I'm upset because… I lost my fight against Tatsuya…".
"You're upset because you lost the last fight? Why?".
"I wanted to win so badly and I trained so hard to be as strong as Tatsuya and yet… He just goes and gets more powerful like it's nothing… I worked so hard and yet… after the fight… I just feel like I'm not worth being a hero…" Kenshin said.
"You don't think you're worth being a hero?..." Momo questioned before saying, "Don't think like that. You shouldn't.".
"Why?...".
"Why? You're literally one of the strongest guys in our class!" She said as she held his hand, surprising Kenshin as his eyes widened. "Yes, the others are strong but so are you! You are worth every drop of what you get. Coming here to UA… You deserved it. Making wonderful friends, you deserve it. You're deserving of it all."
Kenshin starts to cry again but Momo puts her other hand on his cheek and wipes away his tears with her thumb.
"No, don't cry…" Momo said before she took a deep breath. "Trust me when I say this, you deserve everything that you've been given. You are strong, and you are smart, and you're one of the bravest people I've ever seen…".
"W-Well… I think you are pretty brave too…".
"You think I…" She pauses and smiles softly. "I try my best to be a good and brave person… I try my best to not get scared but at the end of the day… Just because you're scared does not mean that you're not brave… If anything, it makes you more brave.".
"Because bravery is not the absence of fear, bravery is having the most fear and doing what you fear anyways… marching straight ahead… and you do that. You might get scared sometimes, you might get upset, but everyday you wake up, you are here, and you fight. Even if that fight is going to classes or fighting Tatsuya like you did earlier, or even if it's just staying home and reading a book…" Momo continued to say. "Everyday is a fight for a lot of people. And you would do that with grace. So don't listen to that terrible, negative thought in your head… Don't listen to it, okay? You're worth every drop of love you get…".
Kenshin smiles softly, feeling better and reassured as he wipes his tears and holds on tightly to her hand as he says; "Thank you… so much, Yaoyorozu…".
"You're very welcome." She said before saying; "I care about you and I don't want you hurting over your self-doubts or any lies.".
"Well, if I'm being honest, I thought you were awesome in your fight with Tokoyami." Kenshin said.
Momo giggled. "Thanks, I tried my best and wanted my fight to be successful in my favor but it was difficult… Sure, I'm a bit disappointed, but I'm happier since you're feeling better.".
"Thanks again, Yaoyorozu.".
"You don't have to thank me, it's my pleasure to help. Again, I will not have you upset over your self-doubt.".
Kenshin stares deeply into her eyes, lost in them as his heart skips a beat.
"Why… Why are you looking at me like that?" She asked.
"Looking at you like what?".
"You're just, I don't know, staring." She said as she giggled a bit.
"Sorry.".
"It's okay. I… I kinda like it when you stare at me like that." She said, smiling at him.
Kenshin blushes a little.
"Your cheeks are kinda red. Do you feel okay?" Momo asked.
"Yeah, I'm okay…~".
She puts her hands on his cheeks and says; "You have very pretty eyes. And very soft skin apparently.".
They both chuckled.
"Someone as amazing as you doesn't deserve to cry." She said. "You know… I was wondering… Do you perhaps… like to train with me someday?".
"Huh?".
"I've seen you train before and I find your swordsmanship skills very interesting, so I would really like to spar with you." She said.
"Wait, really?" Kenshin questioned.
"Yeah, of course. Only if you want to, I don't want to force you or anything…".
Kenshin's smile widened a little. "I would love to spar with you sometime.".
"You do?" she questioned before smiling and saying; "That sounds great…~".
"You're smiling…".
"Of course I'm smiling, silly.".
"You look beautiful when you smile like that…~".
"You think I'm beautiful when I smile?... Thank you. The same goes for you…~".
She stands up and offers him her hand. "Come on, get up. We're going to show everyone you belong here. Together. I'll be here right by your side, I promise.".
Kenshin smiles more and takes her hand before He gets up and they walk to their seats together.
Meanwhile, Tatsuya was walking back to his seat and noticed Hikaru walking away. Before Hikaru could walk out towards the Arena, Tatsuya quickly put his right hand on Hikaru's right shoulder as he then turned his head to look at Tatsuya.
"What do you want, Tatsuya?" He asked him.
"I wanted to talk with you before you go," Tatsuya said. "Tsukiya Nakagawa is our uncle and the third strongest being alive. Back then when he and our dads were our age, he was stronger than our Dads until My father and Uncle Tsukiya fought during the Government Exams."
"With that said, that also means that Tsuki is holding back on us entirely and you should watch out for what is up his sleeve…" Tatsuya said to Hikaru. "All I'm saying is… Be careful. We don't know what he's truly capable of… Stay on your guard and don't lose focus on him. He could be hiding a lot of techniques we don't know about."
"I see. Thanks for the info." Hikaru said calmly.
"Wait!" Tatsuya quickly said.
"What now, Tatsuya?" He said, turning his head to look at Tatsuya again.
"Good luck!" Tatsuya told him with a smile on his face, giving Hikaru a thumbs up.
He smirked and said; "Thanks."
He then walked out to the arena as Tatsuya heard the crowd of people cheering for the next fight…
"Be careful, Hikaru… Tsuki is just as Dangerous as Uncle Tsukiya when he and Dad were our age…", Tatsuya thought. "Tsuki is a guy of many mysteries, just like Uncle Tsukiya himself. Don't you dare lose to him! Because I would rather fight you instead!"
"Try your best and don't lose focus on your task at hand," Tatsuya continued to think. "Your best option is to at least toss or throw him out of the ring… Watch out for whatever he has up his sleeve… Good Luck, Hikaru…".
