Chapter 71 Old Love

The twins and their group were at the Twins' place discussing about the case they're place.
"I can't believe we still haven't gotten any leads yet." Kanji said
"Something is bound to happen." Yuto said.
He saw the date and frowns.
"What is it Yuto?" Chie asks.
"Nothing."
"Don't give me that." Chie said. "I'm your girlfriend and we're your friends."
Yugo sighs. "It's because this is when he broke up with his ex."
"Ex?" Chie questions in surprise.
"Yes, he once dated a girl."
Yuto glares at his brother.
"It didn't end well?" Naoto asks.
"Well she became more selfish after we lived together." Yuto said.
"You lived together?" Chie questions a bit jealous.
"Many couples do that after some time."
"How long were you with her?" Yuriko asks.
"Couple of months."
"That long?" Chie blinks.
"Yeah, but I broke off a month before coming here." He said.
"How bad was she?" Yu asks.
"Like she kept demanding things, like I might have spoiled her a bit, but I reached by limit."
"What did she demand?" Rise asks.
"Yugo you tell them."
Yugo sighs but nods.
"Okay listen."
Yugo then starts to talk about how she forced all the chores onto Yuto and him, how she would just laze around the house and go out, etc.
"Wow." Yosuke was stunned.
"What the heck is wrong with her?!" Chie shouts angrily.
"I don't know. I'm more mad I left a few things at her place." Yuto said.
"What did you leave?" Yu asks.
"A few family things."
"Heirlooms." Yukiko grimaces as her parents gave her many lectures about taking care of family heirlooms.
"The only person that could assist us his her sister." Yugo said.
"Her sister?" Kanji asks.
"Yes, she's got her own sister, i'm surprised you never dated her Yugo." Yuto said.
"I just never got confesed." He said.
"Wait you were waiting for her to confess to you?" Naoto questions.
"I didn't want to give a bad impression, imagine she didn't really like me and just wanted to tease me." Yugo said.
"True." Yosuke said.
"Well how about you guys give a call?" Ashley said.
The brothers look at each other.
They are not sure if that's a good a idea to call her.
"What are the chances the heirlooms are still there?" Kanji questions.
"I hid them in case of burglars." Yuto said.
"Then hopefully they are still there." Chie said.
"Go talk to her." Yuto told his brother.
"Fine. Hopefully she picks up and not near her sister." Yugo said as he starts to dial her number. "Or if her number changed and she forgot to tell me."
Yugo dials and waits for the call.
"Hello?" He heard a girl.
"Hey it's me." Yugo said.
"Yugo?!" She exclaims in surprise.
"Hey she's calling." Yosuke said.
"What's her name?" Yukiko whispers to Yuto as she frowns.
"Yeah, it's me Alisa." Yugo said. "I was wondering if your sister is near?"
"No she is depressed and cooped up in her room." Alisa said.
"What?" Yugo got surprised along with Yuto.
"After Yuto left she couldn't do anything and started missing him more and more. It gotten to the point she had to move back in with our parents." Alisa said. "I won't say she doesn't deserve this for mistreating you and Yuto but I can't help but worry about her."
"Oh crap, my stuff is in that house." Yuto said.
"Don't worry. Its still there. Our parents decided to keep it safe until you come back before deciding to do anything about it." Alisa said.
"Okay, we'll be coming to get it." Yugo said.
"Got it. Don't worry I won't tell my sister." Alisa said.
"Okay, me and Yugo will be going to get my stuff and we'll be back." Yuto said.
"Need help?" Yu asks.
"It's better we handle it." Yuto said.
"Alright." Yu said.
The two got ready before going to a train.
"If we do this quick we can get in and out." Yugo said.
"Yeah." He then remembers the Times.
Flashback
Yuto sees a girl called Serina at school and goes up to her.
"What do you want?" She questions seeing him.
"please go out with me!" He bows.
She scoffs.
"No way." She said turning him down but Yuto doesn't gives up.
"Please go out with me!" He tries it many times.
Eventually.
"Fine." She said.
"Yeah!" He cheers.
She looks at his smile.
She lightly blushes
After they dated they lived together. But that was the worst decision Yuto made as she was selfish and lazy.
Yuto was cooking as she was sitting on the couch watching tv. His brother was nearby since they had a shared room.
"Bring me a juice." She demands.
"Okay fine." He frowns and gets her a glass.
Yugo sees this and frowns.
"Brother you shouldn't let her treat you like this." Yugo said.
"I know, i'm trying for her to change."
"But giving in to her demands all the time isn't helping. If this keeps up you're going to burn out." Yugo said.
He rubs his head.
"What got a problem?" She looks at them.
"Serina, could you be less demanding?" Yuto said.
"Why should I? I have no problems leaving you." She smirks.
He frowns. "Fine!"
This surprises her.
"We are over." He told her.
"What?!" She exclaims in surprise and shock.
He goes to pack up his stuff with Yugo and they left.
"Y-Yuto." She said stunned.
"If your going to threaten me, then we're done." He shuts the door behind him.
"H-he'll be back." Serina said confident he will.
But Yuto never came as he and his brother moved out of town. This causes her to start getting depressed.
She tried to cook and do other chores but she wasn't able to do it. In fact her house got dirtier.
"Why is this so hard?!" She questions.
She looks down as she relied on Yuto for everything.
"I-I was such a fool." She cries.
Flashback ends
"I wonder what happened after we left?" Yuto said.
Yugo shrugs.
They arrived at the appartment and Yuto stares.
It seems to be ok on the outside as they went to the apartment room they lived in.
Yuto opens the door with the Key and they went inside, they saw it's a mess inside.
"Jesus." He mutters.
Yugo grimaces.
"You look for the heirlooms while I clean this up a bit." Yugo said.
Yuto kept going and he noticed the bedroom was opened a bit, he peeks inside and saw someone on the bed facing the wall crying.
His eyes widen as it was Serina.
"Serina?"
This causes her to turn and look at him.
"Y-Yuto?!" She exclaims before rushing at him and hugging him tightly. "Yuto I am so sorry! It was my fault! please forgive me!"
"You've been lonely all this time." He said.
"You have no idea." They saw Alisa come in.
"Arisa!" They said.
"She's been devestated ever since you left. Because despite other guys confessing to her she chose you Yuto." Alisa goes to her sister's side making her nervous.
This surprises him.
"Alisa!" Serina said.
"Also, did you have a crush on Yugi?" Yuto asked Alisa.
She blushes at this.
"Yeah I do." Alisa admits.
Yugo goes inside surprised. "Why didn't you tell me?!"
"Because I was nervous." She blushes redder.
"Well we'll have to think." Yugo said.
"Me and Yuto live in Inaba now." Yuto said. "So it would be hard, I do care for you Serina but you might not want to move."
The two got surprised.
"Then i'll move in with you!" Serina declared.
"Huh?!" The two said.
"I can't live without you!" She declared.
"Well, it would be nice to see Inaba." Alisa said.
They smiled, Yuto goes to a box and opens it revealing a box that has two rings.
"Mom, dad, I found your rings." He said.
They packed before heading back to Inaba as the girls start they're new lives.
Note: The girls are from Manga Character Sprinklers and the younger sister I had to change her age to fit.
