Chapter 1
A short time ago…
Tiamat was worried.
Toji could see the look on her face that she was and yet… "What's wrong now?" he asked of her.
She paused and stared at him as if he had a hole in his head. "It's Megumi!" she protested. "Did you not notice that he has grown so much in a short while?"
Toji hasn't really thought much of it, his mind comes and goes when he was turning into a dragon, when he finally did. It felt awesome! But that's besides the point here, his woman is upset and he has to now calmly try and figure out how and why she is. It's about Megumi, that's a fact, but is it really that serious?
He was about to speak until he paused, something dug their nails into his leg and were climbing him rather effortlessly. He peered down and saw Megumi doing his best to climb up his leg, then he tried to slip under his shirt but it was too tight, so he did what came naturally… Megumi used his claws and tore the top!
"HEY!"
The shirt was ripped and then, his son tried to get into the pouch on his chest. "What the hell!" Toji protested.
"You need to understand little young dragons, Toji. When they want something, nothing is going to stop them from getting it. Baby dragons are greedy." She said in a simple tone. Yet she kept staring. Megumi eventually made his way in the pouch but, soon realized something.
He can't lie in it the way he uses to!
In fact, his head was sticking out as he pouted, he started to jump and try to stretch Toji's pouch, but all it did make him feel as if he were getting his chest waxed! "OW! DAMN IT!" he cursed as Megumi began to get upset.
"So, you see now? He's growing fast, before he could sleep in there, and now…"
"I get it, I get it!" Toji protested. "He's too big for the pouch…"
Megumi on the other hand was not going to take no for an answer! He began to wail and cry aloud as he tried to stretch Toji out, but he refused to! It only made things painful. "KID! STOP!" he ordered.
Megumi finally gave him, his ears drooped as he began to sob a little from it all. "Oh poor Megumi, he is growing up to be a big boy…" Tiamat cooed as she took him from Toji. It was the first time he actually cuddled up to her! Tiamat smiled but she didn't let it go to her head either.
"We truly don't have a lot of time left, however, there isn't much we can do to help Megumi either."
Toji nodded to this, and yet he paused. "Ryoto has been helping him, hasn't he?" Toji asked offhandedly.
She nodded to this. "I don't know how he is, and yet, Megumi has no fear when he approaches Ryoto, at the same time, I find Marcy has been assisting as well…" she said offhandedly, but gave a small chuckle to it all. "It's rather adorable. Marcy is testing Ryoto on his parenting skills. He will make a good father no doubt…"
"Even though he is Sukuna's kid?"
Tiamat gave him such a look. Toji bocked back a little.
"Tell me Toji… how similar are you and your son, Megumi?" she asked bluntly.
"Ouch" he muttered. "I get it, just because his dad is an evil sorcerer doesn't me he will turn out to be one…"
"Ryoto has Tooru blood in him, and he already has surpassed his father" Tiamat stated.
Toji paused. "But he hasn't…"
"He hasn't mastered curse energy yet, no, he has not. But he will soon." She teased.
Before she could continue, a gentle knock came to the door. Tiamat answered and Toji went to see for himself what was going on. Marcy had arrived and asked to borrow Megumi. "I heard that there is a festival, I was wondering if I can take Megumi with us?" she asked.
"After our incident with the alchemists?!" Toji demanded.
"It's fine" Tiamat stated and peered to Megumi. "What do you say? Do you want to go with Marcy and Ryoto to a festival?" she asked gently.
"Umph!" came out of Megumi. It was a happy chirp and he started to reach towards Marcy. She smiled and accepted him instantly.
"You just want to come along since Ryoto made that sling for you to sleep in." she laughed.
"Sling?" asked Toji.
"A baby sling, Ryoto's mother insisted on it since he has been tending to Megumi. So she made one for him out of hides and fur Sukuna had hunted. Megumi loves it since he can crawl in and fall asleep." She explained.
"I might need to get one of those…" Toji muttered.
But for now, he let his son go off with Marceline and Ryoto. When she was gone, Tiamat got a look on her eye. "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" she teased.
Toji smiled back. "Oh hell yeah!" he said with great passion.
Tiamat was already in the bedroom by the time Toji realized what was going on, but now he will join her. It's not every day they get some time alone together…
