Prologue
A woman named Reina Masayoshi was watching the anime series Hell Girl with her sister Suzume. "Whenever I watch this anime I always feel sorry for these characters who have to suffer;" said Reina "I mean they never did anything wrong to the villains and yet they go through terrible hardship. And then they sell their soul to hell to get rid of those who made them suffer". "That's the world of evil for you sis," said Suzume "you get many terrible people who love to hurt people or give them terrible times, and there's nothing you can do about that. There's not enough justice in the world". Suzume is a lawyer so she knows about these things. "If I could I would like to jump into this anime and help them," said Reina "especially the hell girl Ai".
Reina felt sorry for Ai the most; especially when she watched episode 25 about Ai's sad past. And how the endings of season 3 and 4 showed Ai would never be free.
"Come on sis, we better get ready for our jobs" said Suzume. Reina worked in an office. "Okay" said Reina, turning off the telly. The sisters left their apartment, said goodbye to each other and set off for work in different directions. Unfortunately this was to be the last time the sisters would ever spend time with each other.
Reina had come to road crossing with traffic lights. Right now the lights were red and it was safe for everyone to cross the road. But then a car was coming down the road much too fast. The driver was drunk and he was not watching what he was doing. Everyone rushed to try and get out the way, including Reina, but Reina ended up hit by the car.
Poor Reina was terribly hurt. People rushed over to her to try and help, and someone called an ambulance. Someone also called the police to arrest the drunken driver; the driver had stopped the car and he only had a bump on the head. But it was no good, Reina's injuries were so bad she wasn't going to live.
Suddenly a voice was heard by Reina while she was slipping away. "What is it you wish for?" said the voice. Reina didn't know what was going on but she answered anyway. "If I could I would like to help Emma Ai and all the characters who suffered in the anime Hell Girl" she thought.
A few seconds later Reina woke up in a bright white space; she had died from her injuries. "Where am I?" she asked. "You had a dying wish, therefore I am granting your wish" said the voice from before. Reina remembered her wish to help Ai and everyone else in Hell Girl. "I don't know what's going on," she said "but if I am going to enter the anime Hell Girl. I wish to go back to the time when Ai was alive 400 years ago. It's not fair that she was murdered and then became hell girl because of those crazy, nasty villagers. So I wish to be immortal with magic powers to create things and teleport and disguise myself and other things. That way I can help all the people who used the Jigoku Tsūshin".
Soon the bright light disappeared and Reina found herself out in the middle of nowhere, wearing old fashioned japanese clothes. She had a look around and recognized she was near the village where Ai and Sentarou lived. "If that mysterious voice really did send me back 400 years ago then my first job is helping Ai and Sentarou get away from that village" said Reina, confidently. So Reina's wish to help the hell girl characters had come true.
As for Suzume, she was distraught by her sister's death and demanded justice at once when she was told about the careless drunken driver. As for the driver well he was in the worst trouble of his life; he was going to be in jail for several years and forbidden to drive till he could be trusted when he got out.
I always feel sorry for the innocent characters in Hell Girl whenever I watch the anime, which is why I came up with this story to help the characters. Wanyuudou, Ren and Honna Onna will be Reina's helpers. Honna Onna's death will be different compared to what happened to her in the anime. Next chapter is about helping Ai and Sentarou.
