Chapter 1

The reunion

All the contestants from the first three seasons are back for another season on the same island the first season took place. They didn't see each other in a long time and some of them also are not very excited about it, but of course they came back for the money.

''So not pleased to see you, Heather…'' said Alejandro.

''Oh, leave me alone. I told you a long time we were done...'' said Heather somewhat unsure.

Heather regretted the break up, but it was for the best. Alejandro wasn't so happy either, but all they did was argue. Chris was informed about the break up so he came up to them.

''How do you feel about the break up?'' asked Chris curious.

Heather took the microphone and threw it in the water right away. Gwen stepped out of the boat and a quick laugh escaped her lips.

''Just as temperamental as I remembered.'' she said.

DJ got off and greeted Chris with a smile. He was very chill. Geoff and Bridgette showed off their rings as soon as they arrived. Everyone gasped.

''Congratulations! I can't believe you're married!'' said Gwen.

Gwen was blocking Courtney's way, so she pushed her and hugged Bridgette. When Duncan stepped on the campus, he got some angry looks from Gwen and Courtney, who weren't thrilled to see him after all that had happened.

''Coming here when you knew Gwen and I would be here? Brave.'' said Courtney.

''You know I am brave all the time, princess.'' said Duncan.

He winked at Courtney and went to congratulate Geoff and Bridgette, who were one of the three couples who lasted that long.

Gwen was a little jealous, but she didn't know why. She clearly didn't love Duncan anymore, he was a jerk to her and Courtney, but she missed being loved.

Right when she was thinking about all of this, Trent greeted her and she remained breathless when she saw him after this long.So handsome…she whispered, praying he didn't hear her. After all, she was the one who broke up with him. Cody and Sierra were still a couple. Cody came and greeted everyone, with Sierra following him, of course.

''I knew we would be one of the Total Drama couples!'' said Sierra, excited.

Cody rolled his eyes and smiled. Apparently Cody discovered Sierra had a mental problem, so he took her to a doctor and in a few months she was like a normal girl. She stopped stalking him and Cody finally had a second for himself. Cody fell in love with her because she had always been nice to him and cared about him.

''I am glad you found someone who loves you back.'' said Gwen smiling.

''Yes! I am so happy.''

Justin arrived, but this time no girls were drooling over him. Izzy was as crazy as everyone remembered.

''AAAAA! I came to win!'' said Izzy.

Beth, Lindsay and Tyler were inseparable. Tyler and Lindsay lasted, and Lindsay was not as dumb as before. She had multiple diplomas. She went to a mental hospital and she was actually paired with Sierra there. Gwen couldn't stop staring at Trent, and Lindsay noticed it.

''I see how you are staring at him...'' whispered Lindsay in Gwen's ear.

''No way!''

''I don't want you to end up like Heather. She also loves Alejandro.''

Heather heard that and hit Lindsay signalling her to shut up. Lindsay giggled. Leshawna was as cool as before. She lost weight and became thin. She wasn't fat before either, just a little overweight, but she was into modelling and that was her dream. Everyone almost didn't recognise her.

''Who is this?" asked DJ.

Everyone burst out laughing, including Leshawna.

''It's Leshawna, dummy!"

Dj's jaw dropped. Harold was amazed by her new look. Owen carried Noah out of the boat. Noah was seasick.

''I took this ride for so long to win this for sure!" said Noah annoyed.

''There are going to be lots of things worse than that ride.'' said Chris, pointing at the boat and laughing like a maniac.

The contestants were a bit scared now, but they have already known what Chris was up to when they came here.

''Also, Katie, Sadie and Eva couldn't make it.'' announced Chris.

The teenagers were relieved, because the less people the better. Just as all the contestants were taking their bags and going to the cabin, Eva came to the dock with a jet.

''I thought-''

''Stop talking and be happy I made it!'' said Eva.

All the contestants walked to their cabin. Trend caught up with Gwen and he started talking to her.

''I didn't see you in so long.'' said Trent.

''Yeah! I… never mind.''

Gwen wanted to tell him so many things. She wanted to tell him that she was sorry and that she wished to stay friends, even if secretly she wanted more than that.I have to know my boundaries.I was the one to break up with him after all and he probably moved on anyway. Thought Gwen.

Trent didn't mind at all. He passed Gwen and went to his friends.

Heather wasn't still over Alejandro. He was her only boyfriend who treated her at least the bare minimum.He is already over me. I have to stop thinking about it. She thought, hurt.

I have to win the million and make my parents proud, at least this time.She decided to stop thinking about it and only think about the competition, but harder said than done. When she was heading to the girls' cabin, she kept getting flash backs from the moments with Alejandro. Alejandro wasn't much better either.She has gotten so beautiful. I wish we were still a couple. She is already over me.

I have to stop thinking about it. He thought. He didn't know he had the same worries as Heather. Chris let them rest that day. Or so they thought. They put their things in the cabin. Bridgette and Gwen instantly started chatting. They were good friends after all. Courtney joined them. As they were chatting, Gwen asked Courtney:

''Do you sometimes miss love?''

''I do. But I realised I wasn't good with Duncan. That jerk! Worst phase of my life…''

''I am so sorry you still haven't found your soul mates. I am sure you will!'' said Bridgette.

They all smiled. Little did they know Duncan heard that part of the conversation. He was sad, and a tear rolled down his cheek hearing that. He knew he was a jerk to both Courtney and Gwen. He was so young back then, but that wasn't an excuse. He assumed everything. Duncan was still too scared to apologise, but he wanted to apologise soon enough.

Chris had a megaphone and he scared all the contestants when he spoke.

''HEYYYYY! You haven't thought you have a day off, did you? Come to the dock in five minutes.''

Everyone got ready and came.

''Now we will decide the teams and I will tell you the challenge.''

''Gwen, Courtney, Heather, Alejandro, Duncan, Beth, Trent, Geoff, Harold, you are on the same team. The Owls is your name.''

''Lindsay, Tyler, Sierra, Cody, Eva, DJ, Leshawna, Izzy, Noah, Justin, Owen and Bridgette, your name is The Beatles.''

''The first challenge will bring you nostalgia… It's the first ever challenge of Total Drama! But this time the second part will be harder than you expect. I will tell you later… HAHAHA!'' said Chris, laughing thinking of the dangerous challenge.

The contestants gathered to the cliff, already aware of what they have to do.

''So… who jumps first?" asked Heather.

''I'll go, considering I didn't even jump last time!'' said Courtney.

''Great!'' said Gwen.

''I was such a scaredy cat!''

Duncan let out a laugh, but he instantly stopped when Courtney glared at him. She jumped, screaming for her life.

''Jump second, Heather, ladies first!'' suggested Alejandro.

''Ugh, fine!"

When she was about to jump, he said:

''After all you are a-''

But she didn't let him finish.

''goddess.''

Everyone on The Owls' team let out a loud gasp.

''If you tell her about this I will chop off your head.''

Some people got scared, but Duncan didn't. Lindsay had planned to tell her in secret already. Gwen was ready to jump when she lost her balance and fell on her back.

She was flying and screaming for help. Falling on the back is painful.

Trent jumped after her right that second. He hugged her and flipped them on the other side so he would fall on his back instead of her. Gwen was blushing hard. They fell and Trent almost broke his back, but he was okay. They swam to the beach quickly.

''ARE YOU GUYS OKAY?!'' yelled Owen.

''YES!" yelled Trent and Gwen.

Gwen covered her face because she was too embarrassed to even look at Trent. Suddenly she snapped out of it.He only did it to save me from getting injured…she thought, sad. She ran to hug Trent and she couldn't stop thanking him.I think I would have broken my back if he hadn't been there… I love him more and more... and I know it's wrong…
