Maxwell and Fran lie snuggled together on the bed in the suite. He pulls Fran even closer to him. He tickles her neck and kisses the one spot behind her ear.
"MHH Maaax!"
Fran purrs, hugging him and playing with his hair. Greedily and passionately, their lips meet. In a flash, they undress each other and lie naked under the sheets.
Maxwell's mouth probs along Fran's body. He runs his tongue and lips along her breasts. He watches as her breathing becomes more and more heavy. Fran is completely in ecstasy. She's addicted to him. He wanders down her belly. Fran can hardly stand the tension. Then she moans even louder. He reached her most intimate place. While Maxwell and Fran show their love to each other, Niles takes action at the Sheffield mansion. Tonight was the best opportunity to put his little spies to work. First, he goes to the office. He sets the machine on record and looks around for a good hiding place. He reaches for a statue on the desk. It was empty inside. Perfect. The small device fits easily into the statue. So his little helper is perfectly covered and can record all conversations well.
Satisfied, Niles goes upstairs. This was only the first prank. He heads to Miss Fine's room. Tonight, it wasn't locked. He looks around the room and rummages at her desk. But he doesn't find anything suspicious. In her calendar, he discovers a lot of M's with hearts curled around them. Miss Fine and this Marc guy really see each other a lot. Curious, he searches if he can find a picture of the stranger, but there is none. Niles now looks for a hiding place. On one of the bedside tables stands a vase without flowers. It's ideal. Niles hurries and puts another recording device into the vase. He sneaks quickly out of the room before one of the children catches him.
Late at night, Niles is sitting in the living room with the newspaper, a glass brandy and a cigar. Fran comes home.
"Oh Oh Niles, you better be careful, our boss doesn't see you like this."
"I think Miss Fine, you should better watch yourself!" He points to her appearance. Fran hurries to the mirror. Oy, only now she notices, her blouse has a button ripped off, her lipstick is smudged (she had redone her makeup in the suite but their goodbye kiss in the limo was pretty intense) and her hair is a mess.
"That Mark fellow sure seems like a tempestuous man!"
"None of your business Niles and not a word to Mr. Sheffield. I'm going to bed now, I'm tired."
Fran literally floats up the stairs. She is still intoxicated from the past few hours. As she lies in bed, she digs out a photo of Maxwell from her hiding place. Tenderly, she strokes the picture and hugs it close to her chest. She falls asleep.
Niles waits until his boss comes home. He arrives half an hour later, grumbling and with an annoyed expression on his face. That's how Niles knows his boss. Without much ado, Maxwell goes upstairs to his bedroom. Only there Maxwell drops his mask and his expression brightens up. Completely content with the world, he falls asleep a little later. Niles goes to sleep, in joyful anticipation of soon uncovering the secrets with the help of his little friends.
