So who will Aela be more furious with, Izuku or Balgruff?

Also, i get the feeling that when Delphine tries her BS with Izuku she is going to have an angry werewolf mom kicking down her door.

She'll probably be more angry with Balgruff since he ordered izuku to go. As for Delphine probably if she finds out.

REVIEW: So, the Jarl is going to need a full body cast once Aela sees how bad Izuku was hurt.

REPLY TO AN: To be honest it's not my most creative and horrifying work that was years ago, that was deleted from every site even though the scum deserved it. Course I was never really sure what cause the whistle-blowers to axe it I am pretty sure it was the torture/death of the trafficker crew but maybe at the time the idea of a teenage joker insert doing it and then having a romance scene with a milf version of Harley Quinn during could've also been the trigger.

Also, I am a German/American born and raised in the Midwest so honestly, I am surprised I didn't say or do worse.

To Gate-keeper: umm you're a little late to stop me from multi-universal fun fandoms only know how many variants of me are running around in the chains of verses due to all those CYOA's I have filled out over the years. However, if you're offering universal passes for me directly I wouldn't turn them down I want to join in the cosmic fun my variants are having it's boring in this world.

Chapter 27: Finding One's Real Self In The Midst Of Chaos

Kaina was on guard as well as her Squad from the Guild. Today Himiko will be moving out and into Sekijiro Kan's place. At long last her case was finished and Kan could finally officially adopt her. Because of this everybody in the house was helping her move out and as such there was a lot of movement in front of the apartment. If Izuku was right The Assassin would use this time to strike.

Queen and Bee, were on Lookout with a lot of their bees spread around the area and stationed at many spots where a sniper could take position. La Brava had already identified the Assassin as Grisha Zaytsev, X-Russian Special Forces wanted for several assassinations of several global politicians. His quirk disruption allows him to create a bubble with anything in his line of sight that no sound or communication could Escape. The bubble is invisible and the only indication that it was up was if there was no cell phone signal.

Izuku had his phone rigged so if he loses signal for any reason it will buzz him. But Kaina doubted that it would be any good. According to what La Brava was able to get on the guy, his MO was to put it up after the target was hit to limit the response time of help arriving. Even if he didn't hit anything too vital or did not score a kill shot, bleeding Out is a real possibility with his Quirk involved. It was why he was so successful as an assassin. La Brava was also looking through the security cameras and select areas to see if she could spot the Assassin before he even had a chance to set up. She's also been multitasking and helping Gentle in getting into the Yaoyorozu estate. Breaking into such a wealthy home took a lot of prep work to do, and was extremely difficult, especially on such short notice. It was why he was just infiltrating today, hopefully he would get back with some information before it was too late. Kaina's thoughts were cut off by the com peace in her ear crackling to life.

"This is Queen, I just lost contact with one of my bees. 30th floor room 472 of the Musutafu Heavenly Sweets. We stopped moving so I could focus and see if I could reestablish contact with my drone." Queen said worried.

"I'm moving to intercept, I'm not too far from there." Knuckle Duster said.

"I'm contacting Izuku no-." Kaina Was about to say before her coms went dead and her Instinct screamed for her to move. She barely moved out of the way and into cover As a bullet grazed her shoulder.

Holding her bleeding shoulder she quickly examined it. Luckily for her, it was only a scratch, And unlucky for the Assassin who took a shot at her she was quite an experienced sniper herself. She had to deal with a lot of counter-snipers in the past. One of the tricks she had picked up was to calculate the trajectory of a shot, that was shot at her, and where the shot came from was nowhere near the hotel. But still in a position to take a shot at Izuku's group. It was then that she realized that it was a decoy and the bastard must have been monitoring their communication somehow. She needed to get out of the jamming zone so she could contact her team. But unfortunately, the roof that she was positioned on did not have a lot of cover that would protect her from a sniper from that advantage point.

Luckily for her, she has a couple of Tricks Up her Sleeve, She just hopes that magic can't be blocked. Pulling out a scroll with the sending spell, she quickly thinks over Who should be contacted. If she contacted izuku right off the bat her team would probably be falling into a trap set by the bastard. Her best option was La Brava, she was the one managing Communications and if she got a message to her she could warn everybody who needed to be warned. Making up her decisions she activated the scroll and sent her message. She knew the Spell activated oddly, probably due to the interference but she could tell that some of her words got through before they were forcibly cut off. She hoped that enough of it got through, but for now, she had a sniper to deal with.

Unknown Location

La Brava had just gotten a garbled message through a sending spell. She had experienced the sending spell a couple of times before. But she had never experienced it not coming through fully. She could tell it was the voice of Lady Nagant. But all she got from it was 'Trap... Pin down... Assassin.' It was almost like it was being jammed, and then La Brava's eyes widened in realization. The bastard must be using his quirk on her location. That meant where they lost contact with one of Queen's bees was a decoy and possibly a trap. But before she could warn izuku and the rest of the team, a message from Gentle popped onto her screen, And what she saw made her freeze for a second. Her thoughts raced as she read the message.

'Those bastards... are planning on targeting her? how could they?' She thought to herself before getting her act together. Shaking her head from the shock She opened the comms to Warn everybody. But before she could say a word, a noise from a single gunshot rang through the comms.

Midoriya Apartment

Izuku was helping move the boxes of Himiko's stuff into the back of Sekijiro Kan's (also known as Vlad King) car. All Day Himiko was quite excited to be moving in with the man at long last. The two had bonded over the months due to their shared experience of discrimination due to their quirks. Even though Serana was a mentor for the girl, Kan was able to get a unique connection with her, Something Serana didn't want to break. It was due to her experience with her father and seeing the man around Himiko made her remember the times before her father fell to insanity. That time was nothing but happy memories for her, And some days she would do anything just to get that time back. Izuku knew this quite well, but izuku could not be happy at the moment for the two.

Because ever since this morning there was something in the air that screamed Danger was coming. Izuku knew not to ignore his instincts and it was only worse when Serana, Lydia, and surprisingly Rumi all had the same feeling. It was why the second that he realized the three were having the same feeling he called Kaina and had her team deployed. Now as he was packing away boxes into the back of the car every muscle in his body was tense and ready to go. He, Serana, and Lydia We're all carrying concealed weapons and none of them were afraid to use them.

Then as he was prepping to put a box into one of the vehicles he could feel the air go still for a second. It was eerily similar to the times when the Dark Brotherhood assassins would attempt to take his life. Realization hit him like a train causing him to quickly look around. He even activated a couple of spells that allowed him to see life signatures as well as enhance his vision. It was only because of this he was able to see the sniper. Doing a quick calculation in his head he realized he wasn't aiming at him but at Momo who was helping Himiko bring out her bed. Izuku did not hesitate, channeling all of his experience into the Thu'um he let out a powerful "TIID KLO UL!" As time slowed he made his way to Momo. But even with the time being slow as it was, the bullet was already halfway toward its destination which was the center of Momo's head. It didn't help that the girl was a good couple of meters away from him. So with very little time, Izuku dived in front of Momo and tackled her to the ground as the bullet ripped through his shoulder.

Ignoring the pain in his shoulder as well as taking advantage of The time still being slowed. He grabbed Himiko and Momo and dragged them into cover. When time Returned to normal he shouted out "SNIPER!" which caused everybody to hit the ground and for them to take cover. It was only then that Momo saw Izuku's shoulder which had a Golf ball size hole through it. Izuku seeing Momo's horrified face saw the wound And Grimaced a bit. Casting a quick diagnostic spell he could tell that there were no shards from the bullet embedded in his shoulder. Pulling out a major health potion he quickly jugged it down. Within seconds the wound Hissed as wisps of steam rose from it. 2 seconds later the wound was completely healed And Izuku was ready to go.

But before he could do anything The unmistakable noise of a gunshot rang through the air. Using his still active spells he noticed that the sniper who was perched on the building a couple blocks away was scrambling away from his perch. Realization struck him as a smile graced his face.

"Nice job Nagant." Izuku Said not realizing his comms were open.

"Thanks, kid but you shouldn't be praising me yet. I was only able to destroy the bastard scope." Kaina said over the coms causing Izuku to relax as his smile grew.

"Don't act like that wasn't your intended shot, And before you deny it. Remember what I said, you do not need to bloody your hands anymore if you do not want to. I do not expect you to bloody your hands for my endeavors. All I asked was just to protect the ones who cannot protect themselves, And you did exactly that. I'm just happy that I can actually see the real Nagant in action." Izuku says as he starts comforting Momo. Momo could not take her eyes off of his shoulder which was completely healed except for the obvious signs of a scar. It didn't help that he could tell that she also realized the Assassin was after her, if he was right she probably put two and two together, and had figured out her parents sent the Assassin. He's going to need to Schedule an emergency session with Hound Dog after this. Izuku Was shaken out of his thoughts by the voice of Kaina speaking through the coms

"The... real Nagant?" Kaina asked confused. Izuku could not help but smile at her question.

"Yes, Kaina the real Nagant. The one that was meant to be a hero and not an assassin. the person that you wanted to be since you were little, that's the real Nagant! so get off coms and Chase down that assassin so we can put a group of criminals Behind Bars." Izuku said with complete confidence in his tone. Kaina could not help but let out a single tear at Izuku's admission. Izuku definitely had a way with words and knew just what to say to make somebody truly feel touched. If this was truly the real Nagant she would do her best to keep this version alive, And not allow anyone to corrupt it this time.

Warehouse District

Zaytsev was running through the district of abandoned warehouses as he attempted to escape. He hated the fact that the purple-haired bitch (Lady Nagant) had stopped him from taking out his Target. Not to mention that the Green haired boy had moved so fast to pull his Target out of the way. He had quirk enhanced armor piercing rounds that could penetrate practically anything and with his thermal scope, He could have easily taken out His Target, even if she was behind cover. But that woman had shattered his scope. What made it worse was that the shards from his scope had Torn up his arm and punctured one of his eyes, blinding him. Once he escaped he would make a plan to take revenge on that woman but that was only going to work if he could lose these fucking bees.

He noticed them when he was scouting out the area And after hacking their coms, it was obvious that they were placed in strategic locations where they thought he would pop up to take his shot. It was why after confirming that one of the bees was in one of the hotel rooms he used his quirk to make it look like he was going to set up there. The next step was for him to take out his countersniper which happened to be the legendary Lady Nagant, which failed. The second that that woman took cover he decided to take his shot knowing that the window of opportunity was not going to open up again. It was probably one of his biggest mistakes because now he was running in the Abandoned Warehouse District chased by a thousand bees with a bloody eye and multiple lacerations to his arm. Yeah without a shadow of a doubt, this wasn't his best mission.

The assassin's thoughts were cut off by a fist Equipped with Bronze knuckles Delivering a devastating haymaker onto his face from his Blinded Side. The bronze knuckles shattered his jawbone as he stumbled back into a trash can. The Assassin quickly got hold of his bearings and Seeing the bees catching up he activated his quirk to create a jamming barrier. He knew that the barrier would keep the bees out since any of them that entered it would lose contact with whoever was controlling them. Standing up quickly he faced the man in the gray leather armor with a black Bandana that covered the top of his face (unknown to him this was Knuckle Duster). Grabbing a trash lid he tossed it at Knuckle Duster, and Knuckle Duster Simply batted it away with one of his hands.

This was a mistake since The Russian Assassin Used the distraction to move in quickly and grab his arm (that he used to bat away the trash can lid) and attempt to flip him. Knuckle Duster who studied the man's profile knew that he was proficient in Systema (a Russian fighting style That focused on grabs and using the opponent's momentum against them.). As such he was ready for the grab and was quickly able to counter with a hit to the man's stomach. The Assassin Used his momentum from the failed grab as well as the punch to his stomach To twist his body and deliver a devastating Backhand to Knuckle Duster's face, causing him to stumble back. Seeing the opening the Russian assassin kicked knuckled Duster in the solar plexus causing him to stumble back into a pile of trash.

The Russian assassin Pulled out a large combat knife and approached the dazed Knuckle Duster. But before he could deliver the final blow the Assassin felt a searing hot pain go through his leg as a gunshot rang through the air. Looking over where the gunshot came from he saw Lady Nagant lining up another shot. With a bummed leg he was unable to dodge it as the bullet (that was made of her hair) punctured his left shoulder. Attempting to fight through the pain he attempted to flee. But his attempt was swiftly cut off by a swift uppercut by Knuckle Duster, finally knocking out the Assassin. Coming down from her perch Kaina approached Knuckle Duster who was tying up the knocked-out assassin.

"I got it from here. Heroes should be on their way so you might as well get out of here, and before I forget it was a pleasure working with you." Kaina said as she held out her hand towards Knuckle Duster. Knuckle Duster Was quick to shake her hand as he spoke up.

"It was a pleasure working with you too and I have to admit. The kid was right seeing the real Lady Nagant was a treat. I hope this is not the last time we work together." Knuckle Duster said before walking off. The other people on her coms gave the same sentiment before they turned off their coms.

'Yeah, I hope it wasn't the last time either.' Kaina thought to herself before calling in her position to the local authorities.
