Darkness, darkness was all that Ezra could see but he heard a beeping sound of medical equipment. Soon his eye began to open and he was meet with the sight of what looked like a hospital room he lifts himself up from the hospital bed to and uses his right hand to rub his head after waking up with a headache.

But there was something off when he rubbed his head he looked and much to his shock it was robotic arm he moved his arm as he examined it. This arm looked a lot different from what he's seen before ' How did this happen?' He asked himself. His snapped out of his thoughts when he heard the door He looked to see a man in what looked like a Military uniform enter the room.

" Oh your awake" the man said as he walked over towards Ezra " I have to say you woke pretty quick given the fact we had to amputate your arm after surviving that explosion you survived" the man said. " Explosion what are you-" Ezra stopped as he began to remember he was piloting the escape pod that he stole from Thrawn's ship and was flying towards a ship that he has never seen before until there was an explosion knocking him out could and that's all that he could remember.

Ezra turns his head to the man who was in the room with him " How long was I out?" Ezra asked the man " You were out for at least three days kid" the man said. " THREE DAYS!?" Ezra shouted catching the man off guard not expecting the reaction he moved closer to calm Ezra. " Look I get it being out for three days isn't something that you can just take in" The man said placing a hand on Ezra's shoulder. Ezra took a deep breath and did his best to calm himself.

" Okay please just tell me what happened? who are you and where am I?" Ezra asked the man hoping he could get some answers. The man pulls a chair next to the side of the bad and sits down " My name is Nick Reyes I'm a Lieutenant on board UNSA Retribution were deployed a simple training exercise when we picked up a signal from a ship of unknown origin. Captain John Alder commanding officer of the Retribution ordered that we go check it out. " Reyes said to Ezra. " Wait you mean that strange ship that was that I saw when I was in the escape pod that was you?" Ezra asked him.

Reyes nodded and chuckled a little " Yeah that was us kid Me and wing man Salter were holding off SetDef and those strange looking fighters that came from the Busted Triangle ship that you escaped from" Reyes said to him " Triangle? You mean the Star Destroyer?" Ezra asked him.

" Star destroyer is that what you called that thing?" Reyes asked him. " Yeah there the main Warship for the Galactic Empire" Ezra tells him. This catches Reyes Attention. But before he could say anything a man and a women entered the room " Oh Lieutenant Reyes I didn't expect you to be here" the man said to Reyes. " Yeah well what can I say Doc the kid's been out for three days and with the surgery that he needed couldn't help but worry" Reyes tells the Doctor.

The Doctor chuckles a little " I understand but I need to do my job without any interruptions" The doctor said to Reyes " I understand Doc" Reyes said he turns to Ezra.

" See you around kid" Reyes said as he walks out of the room. Reyes is walking down the hallway on his way back to the main lobby of the hospital. " Reyes!" Salter called out seeing him halfway down the hallway. " Nora what are you doing here?" Reyes asked his partner " I could ask you the same thing Captain Alder and Admiral Raines are looking for you" Salter tells him.

" Good because I have some important information to tell them" Reyes said as he walks out of the hospital.

Later in Admiral Raine's office

Admiral Raine's was talking to Captain Alder about the small skirmish that had occurred three days go. " We need to know what that ship was and what exactly did Set Def do with it" Raines said to Captain Alder. " well we would have placed a Tracker on that Damn thing but with the Escape pod and the fact that both ships opened fire on us it wouldn't have been possible " Alder said to Raines.

Then the doors the Admiral Raines Office opens to reveal Reyes and Salter " Lieutenant Reyes how nice of you to join us" Alder said said to Him as he looked back at him " Sorry Sir's but I was at the hospital checking on that kid we rescued three days ago" Reyes said to his commanding officers.

" Well as much As i would like to know how that young man is doing I'm afraid that'll have to wait." Admiral Raines says to him. As he pulls up the images that were taken from Three Days that showed a SDF destroyer and the gray Triangle like ship. " Do you have any Idea why Set Def wanted that ship?" Salter asked her commanding officer " No so our top Priority is gather any information about this ship and why Set Def wanted" captain Alder said to her.

Reyes cleared his throat getting everyone's Attention. " That ships is a Star Destroyer" Reyes said as he gestured to the images of the Star Destroyer. " A Star Destroyer?" Salter asked him Reyes nodded " The kid the one that we rescued said that's an Imperial Star Destroyer the main warship of the Galactic Empire" Reyes said this caught both of his commanding officer's attention.

" Empire like that one that was mentioned in the signal from deep space we picked up two years ago" Alder said getting up from his seat. Reyes nodded his head " We need to have conformation before we start jumping to conclusions." Raines said to everyone. He then turns to Reyes. " Is they young man awake?" Admiral Raines asked him " Yes sir the doctor was checking up on him when I left" Reyes said to his commanding officer.

Raines nodded his head " I want you and salter to go the hospital and discharged and then bring him here Is that understood?' Raines as the two " Understood sir" Salter said to the Admiral. " Good now get going" Raines ordered them the two SATO Members nodded there head and then exit the room.

At the hospital

Ezra was siting in a chair with his are on a table with cords sticking in it " Okay let me make a few adjustments and then you shouldn't have anymore problems" A doctor said as he he began typing on the keyboard of a computer were the cords were connected to. " So how did this happen?" Ezra ask as he gestured to his arm. " Well you gonna have to as the medical Staff on the Retribution" the doctor said to Ezra.

" Okay try it now" the doctor said to Ezra, Ezra moves his 'arm' around and and fingers " Okay looks like were good" the doctor said with a smile as he gets up from his seat. " Okay so now what?' Ezra asks the doctor. " Well were gonna send you back-" the doctor was cut off when Reyes and a women entered the room. " Uh can I help you?" The doctor asked the two as they entered the room. " Orders from Admiral Raines" the women said as she handed a piece of paper to the doctor.

Once the Doctor had read it he looks at the two and then at Ezra " Well" the doctor said as he looked back at the letter then back at Ezra " Looks like your free to go" The doctor said to Ezra then proceeds to exit the room. Leaving Ezra dumbfounded " Uh" Was all that Ezra could say not sure what to do in this situation " We have some clothes for you" Reyes said as he lifts up a bag with some clothes and a pair of shoes in it. He hand the to Ezra and then turns around to exit the room.

" Get dress well be waiting outside" the women said to Ezra as she turned around and exited the room. He was unsure of what to do but something was telling him to as he was told.

Outside Reyes and Salter where waiting on Ezra to finish getting dress " You think this is wise ?" Salter asks not liking that someone as young as this was getting involve with the military " Honestly no" Reyes said to his partner " But if he is who we think he is then it's very important that we get as much information from him as possible" Reyes said to Salter.

" Easier said then done Reyes are Intel guys lost track of that Star Destroyer and was last seen heading towards Set Def Territory" Salter told him. " which is why it's important we get as much Information as we can and fast other wise it's game over" Reyes said to her.

Then the door opens up to reveal the young man in a SATO Navy uniform " Hmm not bad" Salter said as she and Reyes looks at the kid " Alright kid follow us" Reyes said as they lead The young man out of the hospital " Oh I never got your name earlier" Reyes said to the young man " oh it's Ezra, Ezra Bridger" Ezra said to Reyes.

" Well Ezra I'm Nick Reyes and this Nora Salter" Reyes said as he gestured to his partner " How's it going kid" Salter said to him. " Uh were are we going?" Ezra asked the two. " Are commanding officer wants to talk to you and believe me it's important" Salter says as she and Reyes walk to the car they had arrived in " Come on kid" Reyes said as he opened the door for Ezra.

Ezra steps into the Car and Reyes closes the door and walks to the passenger front of the car opens the door and sits in the passenger seat and the three drive off to meet with Admiral Raines. Unaware that there is a storm Brewing with the the Settlement Defense Front.
