"Almost the whole grade decided to prank our vice, Mr Hatchet today and you should've been there. The look on his face was priceless." Gwen laughed. "Honestly though, it wasn't as good at what you guys did for for the last day of school."

"Yeah? Well it obviously was a wicked idea since it came from me." Duncan claimed.

Gwen shook her head, still having a smile of her face. "Just trying to compliment you, Mohawk. Don't need to be too cocky about it."

Gwen and Duncan had been going strong ever since freshman year, all the way to their current their current state, junior year. The couple had been going to the same school until Gwen got a scholarship for her dream school for a prestigious arts school on the opposite side of the state. So they were able to maintain long distance as they met during breaks and calling regularly to catch up. Fortunately for them, they were able to last and go through this distance with as little arguments as possible. Normally due to the fact that they never argue in general.

"Well I just want to tell you that I'm going to be coming over tomorrow so be ready. Got that?"

"Oh really? Exactly what should I be ready for?" Gwen inquired, grinning.

Duncan grinned back as he started flexing his muscles. They weren't very visible through the screen. "These." He stated, flexing his muscles in front of the camera while Gwen snickered. "I've been working out and you're probably not ready for it."

"Oh please, what muscles?" She asked. "Because all I see is your flabby arms."

"Rude." Duncan scoffed, crossing his arms.

Gwen was about to respond until a yawn escaped her lips. "Well I'm beat. I'm going to head off now. Night Dunc."

"Night. See you tomorrow." Duncan responded as the two ended their call.

Before Gwen went to bed, she checked the time and it was about he'll be coming thought in her head before heading off to sleep.

It was the following morning as Gwen was on call with Lindsay, explaining maths to her. Although school was over, those who haven't completed their assignments are given a week to complete all of them or else it'll lead them to summer school. Lindsay had been on holiday and by the time she arrived back, she was set piles of assignments which were meant to be due. Especially maths. Her worst subject. So the morning was spent having Gwen help Lindsay in her subjects as she ate her cereal.

"So that's how you solve the standard deviation of a certain sample space. Once you figure out your answer, make sure to include it in your presentation with a detailed explanation on how you came to that solution." Gwen explained. "Any questions? Good. Now I'm going to head out now so-"

Why is Lindsay learning stuff she was meant to learn in eight grade? She's in junior year -also known as eleventh grade- and still doesn't understand standard deviation. The reason to that is because Lindsay isn't the brightest in maths. The school brings everyones' special talents in all sorts of art forms and brings them together as one. In Lindsay's case, she was given the chance to join the school due to her designs. As a fashion designer. She was incredibly talented and interprets many concepts and ideas out of the simplest things. Everything was beautifully crafted and very highly honoured. However, her street smarts and maths smarts seem to differ.

"Wait!" Lindsay interrupted. "What does that weird symbol mean again?"

Gwen groaned in annoyance. "Lindsay. We've gone through the same thing so many times now. This one means you have to find the sum of all of the numbers and this one means the average." She explained, resting her head on her hand. "And your knowledge intake is much less than the average." She mumbled in annoyance.

"What was that?" Lindsay perked up.

"Just solve the question." Gwen deadpanned.

The two friends sat in silence as they continued staying on call. Gwen was silently eating her cereal while Lindsay was trying to solve the equation. The two were very good friends. Some may differ from the fact that they were poles apart. Their friendship seemed to have worked out and get along. Even after the whole Heather drama. However that was for a different story. They've been going to the same school since elementary and have been fortunate enough to be in almost every one of their classes ever since. Even when they moved schools.

After a while, Lindsay looked away from the paper. "Gwen?" Lindsay perked. "Hello?" While Lindsay was trying to gain Gwen's attention, her thoughts were lost in other thoughts. She'd just finished junior year and was heading to senior year. One more year until I get to go to college! Gwen silently thought... One more year...? Only? I have to make the most of this year. How is that going to work? I don't want to go to college just yet. She dreamed of attending the same college as one of her favourite artists, though their names won't be mentioned due to the complexities of her own knew, if she went to the same one as the world-renowned artist did, she would probably be just like her. The problem was that she wasn't ready to go so soon. "Gwen!" Lindsay screeched.

"Ah!" Gwen shrieked. "What?" She asked in a bore calm and bored tone. "Finished?"

"Yup." Lindsay nodded, staring at her answer with as much pride as an Olympian had when winning a gold medal. "So the answer I got was 2.3..."

Gwen was listening to what Lindsay was saying until she heard a ring from the front of her apartment. Who could it be? "Hold on Linds. I think someone is at my front door." Gwen stated.

"Alright. I'll just be on my phone." Lindsay responded.

"No. Finish the next one off as well." Gwen deadpanned.

Lindsay looked away from her phone and groaned. "Fine. You're such a bummer sometimes."

Gwen ignored the comment as she made her way over to the door. She wasn't expecting any guests coming over, It could be the owner... But he only communicates to Gwen through email. Maybe I'm getting an invitation to join a reality tv show to compete for a million dollars. That sounds nice... but also very unlikely. I didn't even sign up for it.As Gwen opened the door of her apartment, there stood the one and only person who could pull off a mohawk. (He really couldn't)

"Sup Sweetheart." Duncan cooly greeted.

Gwen put her hand on her waist as she smirked at Duncan. "You didn't tell me you'd be coming over."

"I just told you yesterday." Duncan chuckled, hands still in his pockets as he watched Gwen try to remember when that was. He smirked as he watched Gwen realise he was right as he brought his hands out of his pockets. "Now get over here." Duncan stated, pulling Gwen in for a giant bear hug.

Gwen instantly hugged back as he face hit Duncan's chest. That was weird...did Duncan get taller? He really did, growing from a striking 5'7 to an alarming 5'10. Meanwhile, Gwen stood in her usual height of 5'2. How did he get so tall? Gwen pondered, wondering if Duncan could tell her what he did. She really needed to grow a bit as well. The thoughts faded away as Gwen was happy to be reunited with Duncan once again. That was until...Why is his arms so big? Gwen examined his arms to see they'd grown into muscles. Gwen never really cared much about muscles but after seeing Duncan with it, all she wanted to do was touch it. But that would obviously be weird.

The two finally pulled away from the hug as Gwen looked up at him. "What's your work out?" She blurted out as a blush formed on her face.

"Huh?" Duncan responded, unexpected by the question as he assumed he only half-heard the question or entirely misheard what she said. "What?"

"Nothing. It was just a slip of a tongue." Gwen spoke. Very speedily. She was getting nervous. It was probably because she hadn't seen her boyfriend in a couple months in real life and he shows up like a bodybuilder. That was exaggeration. He in fact did not look like a bodybuilder but from the changes from the last time she saw him to now, the exaggeration was very much needed. "Come in. You need help with those bags? Not that you need them since you're now very very strong and probably don't need help but I can still help!" Gwen swiftly spoke. Duncan heard the for the first couple of words, not understanding the rest of the things she said.

"I think I got it." Duncan said, picking up his bags and making his way inside the apartment.

Gwen walked behind, admiring the muscles. She might've seemed very girly at the moment but it didn't matter. After all, she was just a girl right?

"Gwen!?" Lindsay spoke.

"Who's that?" Duncan questioned.

"It's just Lindsay. You wait outside and we can go for a walk." Gwen nervously stated as she pushed Duncan outside of the house and ran to her room.

Duncan watched as he slightly chuckled and shook his head. "Weirdo."

"Lindsay I need your help!" Gwen shrieked, staring at the camera with urgency in her eyes. "Also, did you even do the next one?"

Lindsay looked away from her phone. "Well, you weren't there and I didn't know what to do. Anyways, did something happen? Or do you want me to give you a make-over?" Lindsay smiled. She'd always wanted to do Gwen's make-up. Gwen seemed too goth and needed to dress more happier in Lindsay's opinion.

"No!" Gwen protested. "Listen, Duncan came back and he's now super tall and changed a lot. He's still the same but like his muscles are huge and like I never expected it from him but I love it because it's such a turn on but how do I stare at it without making it seem as if I'm a creep? Because you should see his. It's like really-"

"I get your point." Lindsay interjected. "Um... How about you wear... sunglasses?" Lindsay suggested.

Gwen thought about it for a moment and it was the perfect idea. She could just wear sunglasses. "Yes! That'll be amazing. Thanks Lindsay. I'll call you later. Bye!" Gwen waved, to the camera as she was about to end the call.

"Wait! What about my assign-" Lindsay shrieked as the camera ended.

After the call, Gwen quickly scavenged for sunglasses as she finally found it. Then, she headed outside.

Duncan was disinterestedly waiting outside as he was on his phone, waiting for Gwen to come. I could probably recite the whole declaration speech by heart by the time she comes. He thought in his head. He had been waiting exactly three minutes outside the apartment for Gwen and already losing patience. He waited another minute until Gwen finally showed up.

"Finally." Duncan scoffed, facing Gwen. "Anyways, I wanted to tell you something-What's with the shades?" Duncan inquired, eyeing the sunglasses.

Gwen, who's attention had been focused on Duncan's arm, wasn't listening. "What? I mean yeah." Gwen agreed, not having a clue about what Duncan had said. But her eyes were glued to his arms and she couldn't restrain herself. After all, he was her boyfriend.

Duncan looked down at Gwen with a perplexing expression, not understanding what was going on. He tried to ignore it as he held his hand out for Gwen to hold. "Shall we start?" he asked.

Thoughts ran through Gwen's head. Yes, she's held Duncan's hand many times but this time felt different. It was because of how muscular his arms were and made her seem like a fangirl. Instead of Duncan's hand, she grabbed Duncan's arm and interlocked the two arms together. Gwen did this on purpose to be closer to Duncan's arms. So as she slightly leaned her head on Duncan's upper arm, she was brightly grinning at her success. "Yes we may." Gwen responded.

"So tell me, any good places around here?" Duncan questioned. "Heard the south is very boring around these times."

Gwen elbowed Duncan from hearing those words. "Oh shut up. That's not going to make me move back there. I'm glad I moved, the weather was awful." Gwen sneered, describing the scorching weather the north part of the state had to offer. Perfect for people who enjoy hot and steamy weathers but the opposite for people who just hate the sun in general.

The couple walked around the city, visiting every little food stall they found and making fun of little kids. Occasionally scarring the innocent souls for life with random things they'd make up on the spot. It was the perfect day to take a walk as the rain had cleared as their surroundings left a hint of rain and calmness. Little droplets of rain leaked from rooftops as the smell of hot churros and chips, waiting to be served. Kids riding their bikes or running around with their friends and everyones' enemy... Pigeons out of sight. For once.

Duncan was carrying Gwen's little purse on his other hand as him and Gwen continued walking with their arms linked together. As the two walked around, Duncan felt other peoples' staring at Gwen. Probably because she was wearing sunglasses on a cold, rainy day. So, he decided to nudge Gwen. "Think it's about time you take those off, Pasty." Duncan stated, leaning in a little bit. "Everyone's kinda staring right at you."

"Really?" Gwen looked around to see people staring right at her. Instead of reacting, she turned back and continued staring at Duncan's arm. "Oh well." She shrugged.

"What are you even staring at?" Duncan inquired, knowing exactly what she was staring at.

Gwen then pulled herself closer. "It's nothing."

Duncan just smiled. At least he knew he looked good so that was a big ego boost for him. That was until the two went inside the convenience store. Yes, they'd been going around, buying food from almost every food stall they could see but they were still hungry. So, they decided they could go to the convenience store. Back to the point, Duncan could see eyes everywhere and people whispering to one another. He heard one of them and they were asking their friend if Gwen was blind. "That's enough of this." Duncan stated, snatching the sunglasses off Gwen's face. He normally didn't let it affect him but since they were talking about Gwen and Gwen was too busy admiring his him arm, he decided to step up.

"Hey, I needed those." Gwen protested, trying to seize it off Duncan. "Give it back."

Duncan formed a grin on his face. "Why? So you can continue staring at my arm?" He joked.

"What? N-no. I would never do something like that. Gross." Gwen protested as she made a gagging noise. Duncan raised an eyebrow while Gwen bit her lip. "Can you get me that?" Gwen inquired, pointing up to the top shelf filled with cup noodles.

After feasting on all the food the couple bought, -and the things Duncan stole since some of the food prices were outrageous- they decided to head to the park. The problem was... little kids. Fortunately for them, no measly kid was in the playground due to the weather conditions a couple hours prior. Although everything would have dried up by now.

Gwen and Duncan sat by the swing sets finally able to have a break from their laughters to just sit in silence. Not awkward silence but comfortable. It was their secret way of just appreciating each others' presence since they weren't big on compliments. Well, not used to do something like that regularly. It was still silent until the two kissed. Although they seem as if they'd be into heavy make-outs and other questionable stuff, the couple was more into simpler stuff. So their kiss was simple and sweet. A little longer than usual but still sweet. After the two parted from their kiss, Duncan decided to speak up.

"So, excited for senior year?" Duncan wrong to Gwen but Duncan didn't seemed to have noticed. "One more year and then college. Wow. I'd never have expected that. Especially since I'm still in school." Duncan joked. Gwen looked down, rubbing her arm. This time, Duncan noticed as he moved his swing closer. "What's wrong Gwen?"

Gwen shook her head, thinking of the thoughts. Maybe she should tell Duncan. "Well... you see... I don't think I'm ready for senior year. I mean, I want to make the most of high school but you know how my school is. So, I couldn't but then after this year... I guess it'll go to waste." Gwen stated. "And you don't go to my school either since you have a plans after high school. I don't because I want to go to college but I don't want to leave high school just yet." Gwen explained.

"Yeah, I feel the same." Duncan added.

Gwen looked up confused. Duncan had always told her the same thing he wanted to do after high school. "W-what about that tattoo business you wanted to own after high school? You always wanted to do that." Gwen questioned.

"Yeah but I don't know. I've been slowly started getting into writing and... want to pursue that instead." Duncan responded.

"You do? Duncan that's awesome. Have you written anything?" Gwen inquired. "I'd love to read it."

Duncan nodded as he lowered his head. "Yeah but it's lame. You wouldn't believe what I'm interested in." He stated, looking embarrassed as Gwen waited for him to continue. "I'm um... into poetry and songwriting." Duncan mumbled.

"That's amazing Duncan. Really. You have to show me some of your work." Gwen stated, trying to cheer Duncan up. The idea of songwriting and poetry from Duncan had shocked her but seemed like a good fitting for Duncan's personality. It worked perfectly.

"Thanks Pasty." Duncan thanked, calling Gwen the nickname he used to always call Gwen by when they were in freshman year. "Now about college. Are you scared of college?"

Gwen furrowed her eyebrows at the question. "What? No. Why would I be scared of college?" Gwen lied. Unfortunately for her, Duncan saw right through the lie as he gave Gwen a look meaning he already knew what's up. Gwen sighed as she started explaining herself. "Fine. I am. It's because if I get into my dream college, I wouldn't have anyone and this this year, I've probably made two friends. I don't know how to make friends and I want to to my best in college and stuff but I also don't want to be alone." Gwen explained. "I normally sit alone during lunches in this school since those two friends have other friends. We're more like class friends."

Duncan patted Gwen's back as she expressed herself. "You'll make friends. Don't stress about it 'kay? You just relax and enjoy the moments we have now. I know you'll make friends and have the best college years." Duncan reassured, squeezing Gwen's hand.

"But what if I don't?"

"Gwen. You will." Duncan deadpanned.

Gwen sighed in both relief and annoyance. Relief because Duncan could always calm her down with his weird ways and annoyed because he isn't worrying as much as she is. "What about senior year? What am I meant to do then?"

"Well I was going to surprise you but I... got a scholarship for your school too." Duncan admitted. "Because of my writing."

"Oh my god really? Duncan! That's amazing! Good job!" Gwen shrieked.

Duncan awkwardly scratched the back of his neck. He'd never expected to get a scholarship. Moreover a scholarship for poetry and songwriting. "Yeah, didn't expect that either." He responded. "Ouch!" Duncan shrieked, holding onto his arm. "What was that for?"

"For not telling me you dork." Gwen laughed.

"So did it work?" Lindsay questioned.

Gwen shook her head. "No. Duncan knew exactly what I was doing and I looked like a creep. Way to go Lindsay." Gwen answered, glaring at Lindsay through the camera.

"I didn't think he would find out. I do that to Tyler all the time." Lindsay shrugged. "I guess you were just bad at it."

"Or maybe it's just so obvious. Gah, I was so stupid for actually trying that." Gwen stated, cringing at what she was doing. Luckily, after sometime without the sunglasses, Gwen finally got used to Duncan's toned arms and stopped swooning. Although she occasionally swooned once in a while. "Remind me to never follow your advice."

Lindsay placed her arms on her hips in hurt as she scoffed. "Fine! Don't follow my advice but I'll have you know that I give great advice." Lindsay retorted.

"Believe what you want. Anyways, did you finish the assessment?" Gwen inquired. "You know it's due today, right?"

Lindsay's eyes widened as her drink fell out of her hands and dropped to the floor. She completely forgot and only completed half of it. "Um... how mad would you be if I tell you?"

It was morning when Gwen drowsily woke up from the blaring noises of the television. It was Duncan watching some reality tv show from... Chris McLean? He was known for torturing campers and Duncan found it fun to watch. Since the volume was ear-splitting, Gwen decided to get out of her bed and make her way over to Duncan. He was sitting on the couch with leftover pizza on a plate next to him.

Gwen stood in the way of the television with her arms crossed and a scowl on her face. She was saying something but Duncan's eyes wandered down to Gwen's booty shorts.

"Put the volume down. I want to sleep." Gwen demanded.

Duncan nodded as he tried to find something to say. "I will but could you be a doll and get me those weights, Doll-Face?" Duncan asked. "Trying to build some more muscles. Just how you like it." Duncan winked.

"Fine." Gwen agreed as she walked off to get the weights.

While Gwen was fetching the weights, Duncan put on the sunglasses which was resting on the little table near him as he rested on the couch. His eyes soon wandered off to the behind of Gwen as it tickled his hormones. He watched as the hips swayed with a smirk.

Gwen was about to pick up the weights until she turned around to see Duncan staring at her with a cheesy grin. She knew exactly what he was doing so she picked up the weights and as Duncan watched how Gwen's hips swayed, Gwen made her way over to Duncan and 'accidentally' dropped the weights of Duncan's foot.

"OW!" Duncan groaned, holding onto his foot.
