First let me say I do not own the properties of one piece, League of legends, or any other characters or properties you see in this work.
Hey everyone, Gorum141 here to bring you an new stroy! Thank you for taking the time to read this story. I've had a lot of fun bringing this adventure to life, and I'm excited to explore a new character and how he fits into the Straw Hat crew. He brings a unique dynamic to the group with his connection to ancient legends, his ice powers, and his deep sense of tradition, which I hope adds a refreshing layer to the usual One Piece action.
Before i get any comments i was ask to write this so no this is not a self insert im simply using my name but the description is that of the person requesting this.
Chapter One: The Search Begins at Shells TownThe sun hung low in the sky, casting long shadows over Shells Town. It was a quiet place, nestled under the looming presence of the Marine base, with its white walls and the towering figure of Captain Morgan overseeing everything like a tyrant. For Gorum, it was just another stop on his endless search for his old friend.
He had heard whispers—faint rumors, the kind that traveled through the underbelly of the world. There was talk of a woman matching Robin's description, linked to Baroque Works, a criminal organization operating across the Grand Line. He didn't have much to go on, but every clue mattered.
The townspeople avoided the Marine base, their heads down as they passed by the gates, but Gorum strode forward without hesitation. His tall, muscular frame cast a long shadow across the cobbled street, his red eyes scanning the area beneath his hood. The cold air seemed to cling to him, a natural aura that radiated from his control over the Kōri-Kuma no Mi—the Ice Bear fruit.
As he approached the gate, two Marines stepped forward, crossing their rifles.
"Hey! What business do you have here?" one of them barked.
Gorum didn't stop, his deep voice carrying authority as he responded. "I'm here for information."
The Marines exchanged glances, uncertain but unwilling to challenge him directly. Gorum was used to this by now—his imposing presence and air of quiet strength often spoke for him. Still, he had no interest in unnecessary conflict. He was here for answers, not to cause trouble.
"Information about what?" the second Marine asked, less sure of himself now.
Gorum's red eyes gleamed from under his hood. "A woman. Dark hair, tall, with an air of mystery. Have you heard of anyone like that?"
The Marines frowned, shaking their heads. "No one like that around here."
Before Gorum could press further, a loud commotion erupted from within the town. Shouts and cries of panic echoed through the streets, followed by the sound of something—no, someone—smashing through walls. Gorum's eyes narrowed as he turned toward the noise.
"That idiot," one of the Marines muttered. "He's causing trouble again."
The second Marine sighed. "Just leave him alone. That pirate's as dumb as a brick, but he's strong enough to beat up the whole base. He's after Captain Morgan's prisoner."
Gorum's attention piqued. A pirate causing trouble at the Marine base? This could be an opportunity to gather information, or perhaps even gain some leverage. He stepped past the Marines without a word, his gaze fixed on the source of the chaos.
As Gorum made his way through the town, he followed the destruction—a trail of collapsed buildings, broken fences, and debris scattered across the street. In the distance, he saw the source of the commotion: a young man wearing a straw hat, grinning as he swung his arm—stretched out impossibly long—through the air, smashing through yet another wall.
Luffy.
Gorum watched in silence as the straw-hatted pirate laughed, completely unfazed by the mess he was making. "Hehe! I'll find you, Zoro! Just hang in there!"
Zoro? Gorum had heard that name before. A notorious pirate hunter—if he was imprisoned here, it explained the tension around the base. But more importantly, this straw-hat boy clearly had a purpose beyond just causing random destruction.
Gorum stepped forward, his cloak billowing slightly as the icy air clung to him. "You there. Pirate."
Luffy stopped mid-laugh, turning to look at Gorum with his wide, curious eyes. "Huh? Oh, hey! Who are you?"
Gorum didn't waste time with formalities. "I'm looking for information. Have you heard of a woman—dark hair, tall, mysterious. Someone connected to Baroque Works."
Luffy tilted his head, scratching his chin. "Hmm, nope. Haven't heard of anyone like that. I'm looking for Zoro! You should join my crew and help me find him!"
Gorum blinked, taken aback by Luffy's sudden and straightforward offer. "Join your crew? You don't even know who I am."
Luffy grinned, completely unconcerned. "Doesn't matter! You look strong, and I need strong people! Plus, you seem cool—literally."
Gorum was silent for a moment, processing the sheer boldness of Luffy's offer. This boy—no, this pirate—was something else. His energy was infectious, his lack of hesitation both baffling and oddly refreshing. But Gorum had a mission, and no time for distractions.
"I'm not interested in joining a pirate crew," Gorum replied, his voice cold but not unkind. "I have my own goals."
Luffy's grin didn't fade. "That's fine! You can still help me save Zoro, though!"
Gorum considered the request. If this Zoro was important to Luffy, perhaps there was something to gain from helping them. Besides, Gorum could use the chaos as cover to gather more information from the Marine base.
After a moment, Gorum nodded. "Fine. I'll help you free your friend. But after that, I'm going my own way."
Luffy's eyes lit up with excitement. "Alright! Let's go!"
The two of them moved quickly through the town, following the signs that led to the Marine base's central courtyard. As they approached, Gorum's senses sharpened. He could feel the weight of the situation—the Marines were on high alert, and their leader, Captain Morgan, was waiting.
As they turned the corner, they saw him.
Roronoa Zoro, tied to a wooden cross in the center of the courtyard, his body bruised and battered. Around him stood several Marines, including Captain Morgan, who sneered down at the imprisoned swordsman.
"We'll get Zoro out of there," Luffy said, his voice serious for the first time since Gorum had met him. "And if they try to stop us, we'll fight."
Gorum glanced at Luffy, impressed by the sudden shift in his tone. There was more to this boy than met the eye.
"Let's go, then," Gorum replied, his blue eyes glinting as the air around him began to cool. A thin layer of frost spread across the ground beneath his feet.
