Petra's POV

Petra wakes from another nightmare filled with Bill's face. She lays, staring at the ceiling wondering if she should just get up now or if she should even try falling back asleep again. The choice is made for her when she hears banging and the sound of things falling over from downstairs. She gets up out of bed, grabbing the shotgun from the hallway whilst she's at it.

As far as she knows the gun is empty but whoever has broken in won't know that. Shes probably being stupid, going to check the noise instead of hiding in her room and calling the police. Especially with an unloaded gun but she's currently surviving on very little sleep. Petra makes it down the stairs and into the living room when she finds someone holding a bag with Gran's stuff inside.

"Drop the bag!" Petra demands, turning on the light, she's fully awake and angry now.

The person jumps, dropping the bag to the ground and spinning to face her.

"Jason!" Petra exclaims in shock.

"Fuck." Jason mutters, looking away from the light and shielding his eyes from it.

"What are you doing? Huh? Breaking in in the middle of the night! And what are you doing with Gram's stuff?" Petra questions.

"Huh? Nothing, nothing." Jason says. "And I didn't break in, the front door was unlocked."

Oh Petra is going to kill Sookie. Their Gran has just been killed and she left Petra home alone and defenseless.

"Why are you trying to take Gran's stuff?" Petra asks again.

"I'm just taking my third, I need the money." Jason admits.

"Jason, Gran left you money, don't tell me you spent all of it already?" Petra questions.

"She did?" Jason questions.

"Right I forgot you weren't here." Petra lowers the shotgun. "Yes, she left you the rest of her money and me and Sookie the house and everything in it. Which means that stuff is ours."

Jason nods.

"Sorry for waking you." Her brother says.

"I was already awake." Petra shrugs.

"Bad dreams?" Jason checks.

"Blood dreams." Petra shudders.

"Damn vampires." Jason mutters.

Jason walks away from where he dropped the bag and Petra wants to scold him for it, and she would have if it wasn't for the front door opening. She lifts the gun as she turns but lowers it again when she finds Sookie…Sookie who is wearing a mans shirt. Oh no, she didn't.

'She did'

The whispers have never, not once, allowed her to live in denial, the bastards.

"What on earth is going on here? Why do you have the shotgun?" Sookie questions.

"Family bonding." Petra says.

Jason snorts before his eyes obviously catch what Petra has just seen.

"Huh. You went ahead and did it. My own sister, nothing but a fang banger. You saved it all these years for a fucking vampire." Jason scoffs.

"Jason." Petra sighs, knowing this is going to start an argument.

"Bill is a gentleman." Sookie huffs.

The whispers just seem to laugh and titter at that.

"He bit you!" Jason point out.

"He doesn't hit me, which is more than I can say for you!" Sookie yells.

"I tried to apologise for that, but you wouldn't let me!" Jason shouts back.

"Children!" Petra calls out, getting both of her siblings attention. "It's late, were all tired and not saying things we mean. Jason, go home. Sookie go to bed."

Petra knows both of her siblings mean the shit their saying. But she can not be bothered to deal with their fighting right now. She just does not have the energy for it.

"I mean what I said." Sookie huffs.

"Yeah me too." Jason grumbles.

"I don't care. Sookie bed! Jason out!" Petra snaps.

There is some grumbling but Jason moves first, heading out the front door. Petra turns towards the living room to clean up the mess Jason made of the place.

"Are you angry with me too?" Sookie asks.

'Yes'

"Not angry, just…I think your being stupid." Petra lies.

Gran just died and she's going round having sex. Petra knows everyone grieves differently but come on.

"I am not!" Sookie exclaims.

"Sookie, I don't even mean sleeping with a vampire. I mean letting him bite you in such an obvious place when we have a serial killer running about that's murdering woman who have dealings with vampires." Petra explains.

"I'll wear a scarf." Sookie offers.

"You do that Sook, you do that." Petra sighs.

"Oh, whoa, whoa, whoa! I'm paying you to cook, not to beat on customers." Sam says as he has to hold Lafayette back from going after three red necks.

Lafayette had called Petra after he'd had the snot beaten out of him by them. She had been pissed and offered to let the voices take control. The man had laughed but made her promise to keep her voices in check.

"Then I want a fucking raise." Lafayette snaps.

"Preach." Petra chuckles.

"I'll think about it."

'Lie'

"But until then, no trouble, okay? We're getting busy." Sam points out.

"Tara called. She ain't coming in." Terry informs as he hands Petra the order.

"What?, aw hell we're already short a waitress." Sam mutters.

"Don't worry Sam, we'll make it work." Sookie says smiling.

"We always do." Petra agrees as she heads over to her section.

Petra's feet are killing her and she's stuck serving the red necks that think her ass has a sign reading 'pinch me'. She's going to hit someone, the voices are pointing out that their trucks are right outside in the parking lot and would be so easy to tamper with. It's only her respect for Sam that is stopping her from leaving him short staffed, even if only for a while.

"Pet! Can you give this to them crackers, please? Don't touch the spoon." Lafayette warns.

Petra raises an eyebrow at the man, but he just smirks. She turns and heads towards the table.

'Hot'

They whisper and it confuses Petra for a second before she remembers that Lafayette has a blow torch in the kitchen. Then she smiles wide.

"Here you gentlemen are." She says as she rests down the gumbo.

She doesn't even care that her ass gets smacked when she turns away because soon enough she hears screeching and crying.

'Good'

"You have no right to touch me!" Petra hears her sister exclaim.

It causes her to turn so fast, she gets a little light headed. But once she sees what happened, fury rises up within her. Her sister's bitten neck is now out in the open whilst her scarf is in Sam's hand.

"You're a damn fool, you know that?" Sam scolds.

"What I do on my own time is none of your concern. Or anyones concern!. Yes! I had sex with Bill, and since every one of y'all's too chicken to ask, it was great!. I enjoyed every second of it. And if you don't like that, you can just fire me!" Sookie yells.

Petra truly wished her sister hadn't yelled all of that, but she can understand why she did. Small town people are always so judgmental, Petra remembers when everyone found out she also slept with women. That was not a fun time for her.

She sighs as she walks towards Sam who is now standing alone.

"My sister may be a fool, but you are an idiot." Petra hisses.

"Pet." Sam tries.

"No, someone is going round killing girls that get involved with vampires and you've just exposed her business to everyone present. If my sister dies because of this Sam, I am coming after you." Petra warns.

Things have been tense ever since Sam ripped Sookie's scarf off her neck. Sookie has been particularly snappy with customers, even the ones not in her section. It making life harder for her as she tries to keep her people happy and stay out of her sister's path. She does not feel like having a public argument with Sookie would be a good idea at this time and she just knows that's exactly what will happen if they bump into each other.

Petra has just finished putting down someones order when the door opens. Many look over to see who's arrived, Petra doesn't as it isn't her business unless they sit in her section. She changes her mind however when she hears the gasps around the room.

Turning her head, she finds three people entering the bar and grill.

'Vampires'

Her voices states as if that fact wasn't completely obvious. Their all deathly pale, event the dark skinned female.

"Get us three Tru Bloods." The guy, who seems to be the main instigator, orders.

"Y'all need to go somewhere else. This is a family place. Locals only." Sam warns from behind the bar.

And Petra really wishes she was behind the bar too. Instead she's the only one standing in the dining area and she's in her uniform. Her uniform that leave both her legs and neck exposed. She even has her hair up to keep it from getting into the food. She wants to hide herself, to move away, but she knows that will just bring attention to herself.

"Well, we just closed in on a place up the road, so that makes us official citizens of Renard Parish. We're the new locals." The vampire informs.

"My place, my rules." Sam states.

And Petra really wishes Sam would just give them the Tru blood so they could drink it and then leave.

"Discrimination against vampires is punishable by law in the great state of Louisiana. Personally, I don't give a fuck but…I…am…thirsty." The vampire says threateningly.

"You are not welcome here." Sam grits out.

"That shit only works in private homes." The black woman chuckles as she moves away from the booth where she'd been playing with a mans hair.

The man seems thankful for the woman to be gone but unfortunately her doing so brings her right up next to Petra.

"Oh! How nice to see you again, Sookie!" Petra hears but her focus is currently on the vampire taking a deep breath in front of her. "You are looking delectable as always."

"You know them?" Sam asks at the same time as Petra whispers warn her.

'Behind you'

Petra turns so she's able to see the female vampire still, but she can now also see the third vampire. She hadn't even realised he'd moved from her view and was now standing close behind her. Her whole body is tense as both vampires seem to just be standing there breathing her in.

"We've met." Sookie admits.

"Malcolm." The female vampire eventually decides to speak up.

"Hmmm?" Malcolm huffs, not taking his eyes off Sookie.

"I think we found our new play thing." She informs.

"The hell you have!" Petra can't help it.

Her body is tense, and she's starting to feel like she's going to have to fight her way out.

Petra can't tell whose words get Malcolm's attention though as soon the vampire is turning around and taking Petra in.

"Now, now. I'm sure we can change that no into a yes real quick." The third vampire purrs.

"Hey! Get away from her!" Sookie yells.

"Why do you care what we do with her?" Malcolm asks.

He hadn't looked too bothered about Petra being their new play thing until Sookie spoke up and now he suddenly seems fully on board.

"She's my sister and she's under Bill's protection." Sookie states.

"Bill has already claimed you as his." The woman point out. "This one is completely available."

Petra physically can't move away when the woman glides a finger over her arm or she'll end up in the arms of the other vampire.

"You smell of moonlight and slaughter." The third vampire whispers to her.

'Sheriff'

The voices murmur.

Petra quickly starts thinking. It's been what, two? Three days since she sat on Eric's lap. So it's not like she can use the fact that she smells like him to her advantage at all. But that doesn't mean…what? What does it not mean?

'Introduction'

The whispers states.

Introduction? What the hell does…oh.

"So you've all recently moved to Louisiana?" Petra questions.

"Yes, my dove." Petra ignores the shudder that comes with the pet name.

"So, you've all introduced yourselves to Sheriff Northman right?" Petra questions.

And just like that, Petra's previous dwindling personal space comes much larger again, as the vampires pull away from her.

"What the hell do you know about that?" Malcolm demands.

"Bill didn't tell you?" Petra asks, faux innocence dripping from her words.

Petra manages to catch Sookie's eyes and think very loudly. Thankfully her sister picks it up. After all Bills supposed knowledge would be more likely to be heard from his claim than from her.

"Eric has shown a rather startling amount of interest in my sister…" Sookie trails off just like Petra instructed her too.

Let them fill in their own blanks.

"And Bill has been thinking about the best way to use that to his advantage." Malcolm chuckles.

"I told you Bill hadn't gone mainstream." The female laughs.

Petra keeps eye contact with Sookie and begs her sister not to defend Bill. Right now she needs them believing this or she may become a chew toy. Thankfully in the next second the door to the place swings open and Bill is walking through.

"What on earth is going on?" Bill demands.

"We were just getting to know the locals." Malcolm states innocently.

"What do you want?" Bill questions angrily, obviously not believing Malcolm's act.

"Join our nest Bill." The female pleads. "Let us share your little…claim and revel in the deal you make with the sheriff for this one."

Bill's face looks momentarily startled and confused and Petra would guess that it's only her and Sookie's staring at him so hard that stops him from asking what they're talking about.

"Alright…let's go." Bill agrees.

Petra will admit to being surprised at how easily Bill agreed to that. He's either playing them or has been playing Sookie…Petra puts her money on both.

"Bill…?" Sookie questions.

Petra sends Sam a look and her boss thankfully sees it and pulls Sookie back slightly. It will look protective to the vampires but Petra knows that it's to make Sookie snap out of it and go along with the fact the vampires are finally leaving.

Bill thankfully ignores Sookie and walks out with the vampires, leaving the place high with tension. No one moves for quite a while until eventually Petra's legs give out on her and she slumps into the table behind her. That has everyone moving. The customers are all talking amongst themselves whilst sending looks towards Sookie and Petra. Meanwhile Lafayette and Sam are rushing over to her.

They grab her by the arms and direct her towards Sam's office.

"Hookah, you good?" Lafayette inquires.

"I can't believe that worked!" Sookie exclaims as they enter the office. "Bill said you can't lie to vampires."

"Which is why we didn't." Petra points out. "We asked questions and skirted around the lie by telling half truths."

"Wait what?" Sam asks.

"But how did you know that stuff about them needing to introduce themselves to Eric?" Sookie questions, completely ignoring Sam.

"The voices, they seem to know more about vampire culture than just what's on the internet." Petra sighs.

"Girl, you is shaking." Lafayette point out causing Petra to look down at her hands.

Oh yeah, definitely shaking.

"I think I might pass out." Petra agrees.

"You should head home. I can handle the rest of your shift." Sam states.

"I don't feel comfortable leaving on my own right now. I can manage the rest of my shift just…could you give me a shot? I need something to soothe my nerves." Petra admits.

"Sure Pet." Sam agrees.

Eric's POV

"Who the hell is calling at this time of night?" Eric smiles at the sleepy disgruntled voice on the other end of the phone.

"Technically it's morning." Eric informs.

"Eric? Wh…how on earth did you get my phone number?" Petra asks.

"Not important, do you know what your brother has been up too tonight?" Eric inquires.

He hears nothing for a while and he almost checks to see if she's hung up on him but stops when she finally speaks again.

"Do you know you have three vampires in your territory that haven't introduced themselves?" Petra asks back.

And oh, isn't that fascinating. He highly doubts Bill told her about vampires needing to introduce themselves. But that also has him feeling…something. Not worry, he'd never worry over a human, but definitely something.

"I assume you've met these vampires?" Eric questions.

"They wanted me to be their new chew toy. I declined." Petra informs.

"Good." Eric hums. "But now on to why I called you."

"Right, my brother. I have to assume that if you're asking he was at Fangtasia." Petra mutters voice going back to sleepy.

It's a nice noise, calming. But he can also hear her breathing evening out so he knows he won't have long with her before she falls back asleep. So he pushes forwards.

"Yes he was, and it was most intriguing, he was going around asking for vampire blood." Eric knows he has her full attention when he hears her hitch in breath and heart beat rising.

"What?" Petra demands.

He can hear her shuffling out of bed. Perfect, he thinks.

"Just thought I'd let you know before your brother found himself in trouble. Goodnight Pet." Eric smirks.

"Like I'm going to be able to fall back asleep now asshole." Petra growls.

Eric cant help but laugh at that, before he's hanging up.

Petra's POV

Petra did not manage to go back off to sleep after Eric's call, the massive jackass. No instead she stayed up the rest of the night worrying about her brother's apparent drug problem, his very dangerous drug problem. Why couldn't her brother have just gotten into cocaine like other druggies? Why did he have to pick the one most likely to get him in trouble with vampires?

Petra would rather deal with the police, at least she knows she'd have been able to talk Jason out of jail. Petra doesn't believe her chances of talking Jason out of trouble with Eric will go nearly as well. She gets the feeling all she'll do is make the man smirk down at her with his stupid height, stupid face, stupid lips…what was she thinking about again?

See this is what happens when she gets no sleep. And it didn't help that when Petra's brain finally felt tired enough to sleep, Sookie had come back home, tracking in mud, with a gloomy expression on her face. Petra had asked what was wrong, Sookie had said Bill was dead. Petra almost celebrated but then her voices informed her he was alive. She'd told Sookie that but that had just made her receive a rant about why he didn't answer the phone then. And where could he possibly be if he wasn't dead.

Then because her sister was on a roll, she decided they were going to deep clean the house. And Petra, knowing there was no way in hell she'd manage to get back to sleep with that noise going on, stayed to help. Which leads to now, with Sookie cleaning out the stove as Petra cleans the table. Certain stains are being stubborn and despite most of the being centered around where she eats, she's decided to blame Jason for them.

The kitchen door opens and Petra sighs in relief when she sees it's just Tara. But she really does need to talk to Sookie about locking all the fucking doors to the house, even when they're in it. Especially when they're in it. Tara seems to spot Sookie first.

"Jesus Christ, what the hell are you doing?" Tara shouts as she quickly starts pulling Sookie out of the oven.

"Stop!" Sookie exclaims once her head is out, she pulls off the filter from around her mouth. "I'm cleaning. What does it look like? And watch your feet! I just waxed!"

"I hope you mean the floor." Tara jokes.

"What do you mean 'you' waxed the floor? I waxed the floor." Petra huffs.

Okay not good, both her and Sookie appear to be snappy today.

Sookie ignores her and stays focused on Tara.

"Can I help you? I'm up to my elbows in Easy-off." Sookie states.

"My momma made hoecakes this morning." Tara informs.

It takes Petra a second to realise why that's such a big deal. Her mom is not a great person, druggy, alcoholic, refuses to seek treatment. And as a result has never taken care of Tara, it's always been Tara doing the taking care of.

"So?" Sookie questions, obviously not thinking.

"She cooked me breakfast!" Tara exclaims.

"That's great Tara." Petra says. "How sure are you that it's going to last?"

"Fuck if I know. But we went into the woods to get a four hundred forty-five dollar hoodoo exorcism last night, and you do not want to get me started on that!" Tara huffs.

"My Grandmother's dead!" Sookie suddenly huffs angrily. "At least you got someone to make breakfast for you. You ever stop thinking about what's happening with others before you barge in on them?"

"Sorry…I didn't mean…" Tara stutters.

"No!" Petra starts. "You don't apologise especially to her."

Petra can't believe Sookie.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Sookie snaps.

"It means that while the rest of us have been dealing with our grief, you've been hiding from it in the comfort of your vampires arms and teeth." Petra glowers.

"Teeth? You let him bite you?" Tara questions.

"So what? It means someone cared for me when everyone else left me high and dry!" Sookie exclaims.

"Is that what you think we've been doing?" Petra scoffs. "Fun fact, everyone has their own problems to deal with. You can't expect them to stand with you every minute of every day."

"You know what? Get out of my house." Sookie orders.

"Excuse me?" Petra asks, incredulous.

"Get out of my house." Sookie repeats.

Petra scoffs, throwing down the rag she's been using to clean with.

"I live here too. I own this place with you. You can't kick me out. If want time and space then by all means leave. But don't you dare for even a second think you can kick me out of my own damn house." Petra scolds.

"Fine, I will!" Sookie exclaims before rushing out of the back door.

The house goes silent for a bit before Tara speaks up.

"Who died and made her queen?" Tara scoffs.

"Bill apparently." Petra sighs.

Petra started her shift just before lunch rush began. Sookie was supposed to also be starting then. So that they'd have all hands on deck. Instead Sookie didn't show up and now it's after dark. So Petra and Arlene have been working a four person shift all by themselves. It has been an interesting day to say the least. And the worst thing about it is that Sam seems to be completely understanding towards Sookie not showing up all because Bill supposedly died.

Which is bullshit, they still showed up to work after Gran died. How on earth does Bill trump the woman that raised them?

"I'm sorry." I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I know I'm late." Sookie apologises as she rushes in.

Petra and Arlene share a look as Sam immediately starts in with the overly caring voice and not a hint of anger.

"Sookie, listen. I heard about the fire. I'm real sorry. How you holding up?" Sam inquires.

"He's alive!" Sookie chirps happily.

Yay, Bill's not dead and all is right with the world. Was that bitter? Does Petra sound bitter? She feels bitter.

"What?" Sam asks.

"Bill. They said there were four bodies and I thought for sure Bill was one of them." Sookie rushes to explain.

"He wasn't?" Sam checks.

"No! He's fine. In fact…he's wonderful!" Sookie is smiling so happily.

"Does that mean Tara and I will get an apology for you bitchy attitude this morning?" Petra inquires.

"Sorry." Sookie says offhandedly before walking away to help the customers.

The voices start up with their quiet whispers and mutterings.

"It's illegal to murder someone." Petra huffs under her breath. "Especially my own sister."

That has the voices grumbling.

"Pet?" Sam looks at her oddly.

"Gotta get back to work, bye boss man." Petra says before quickly getting back to her rowdy tables.

"Isn't she something." Petra hears as she walks back over to the bar with empty plates.

Petra looks over where Jason is looking and finds a woman waiting tables in Sookie's area. Damn, her sister isn't going to like that. Then Petra spots some of Arlene's tables empty too…oh no, this could turn real bad.

"She's with you?" Sookie huffs.

"I know you're pissed at me, but…I really want you to like her." Jason admits.

"Name and where'd you meet her?" Petra asks as she walks past to put the dirty plates in their spot to be washed.

"Amy and I met her last night but I feel like I've known her forever." Jason sighs with a dreamy look in his eyes.

Last night…he went to Fangtasia last night looking for V. Please tell her that his new hookup isn't…well…hooking him up. Amy walks over with a small smile on her face.

"Sorry about that. You looked really swamped and the natives were getting restless so…You're Jason's sisters right? I've heard so much about the both of you." Amy greets.

Petra wants to ask how, they just met last night. But she refrains. And thankfully the next thing she knows Arlene is present and looking down on Amy.

"Who are you?" Arlene interrogates.

"My name is Amy. Amy Burley. I'm with Jason." The girl smiles.

"With me." Jason agrees.

"And you must be Arlene with the beautiful red hair. It's so nice to meet you." Amy says.

Arlene doesn't drop her guard however and continues on, "How'd you know all the table numbers?"

"Well, I waited tables in college, so I just assumes clockwise. You know, table one, two, three, four, five. I think the guys at table five like you, cause they left you a really nice tip." Amy states and hands over the money.

And just like that Arlene goes from territorial pit-bull to happy as a clam at high tide.

"Sam, I think we might have found a replacement for Dawn." Arlene call out.

Petra opens the door and finds Arlene, Rene and Arlene's kids waiting outside.

"Hey…what are you guys doing here?" Petra inquires.

"Sookie didn't tell you? She agreed that you guys would watch the kids because my babysitter fell through." Arlene says, sounding slightly panicked.

"She didn't but I have nothing better to do." Petra gives the kids a smile but their too busy on their games to care.

"Where is Sookie?" Rene inquires.

Petra keeps the smile on her face even as the whispers start up. They really don't like Rene.

'Fake'

They whisper.

"She's just…" Petra trails off.

Currently having relations with Bill in her room.

"Here…I'm here." Sookie says rushing down the stairs, breathless and in just her nightie.

Good lord.

"Sookie, what's wrong? What took you so long?" Arlene asks in concern.

"I was out back in the yard." Sookie lies.

"In your nightie?" The boy…Coby? Asks.

"The cat got out." Bill's voice says from behind them and Petra tenses.

Sneaky bastard.

"Made friends with a squirrel." Bill continues.

"Mommy, look, it's a vampire!" the girl, Lisa, exclaims.

"Uh Sookie. You didn't mention that you had company." Arlene reminds.

"I didn't think I had to." Sookie states.

"She has a right to know who's looking after her children." Petra points out.

"Thank you." Arlene nods at her.

"Well, Bill is here so…are we going to have a problem?" Sookie questions.

"Ahh, take it easy Chere." Rene starts. "Mr Compton raised a couple of them little ones himself if I remember, yeah?"

'Liar'

'Fake'

"That's quite right." Bill nods.

'Murderer'

Petra watches in amusement as Arlene removes two silver bangles and places them on Lisa and…she's sure it's Coby's, wrists.

"Keep these on you, you hear? And um…stay close to you Aunt Petra." Arlene instructs.

"They'll be fine, I promise. Who wants pizza?" Sookie asks.

"Me!" both kids exclaim loudly.

"That's good, cause that's what we're having." Sookie smiles.

"You can eat pizza?" Rene questions Bill.

"Well, unfortunately no, but I understand it's delicious." Bill chuckles.

"Arlene's going to kill us." Petra decides.

"No…" Sookie shakes her head.

"We're feeding her kids sugar before she comes to pick them up." Petra points out.

"Okay…but not murder…maybe some light maiming?" Sookie suggests.

"At least I know I can out run you. Even with your long legs." Petra grins.

"I just have to trip you first." Sookie reminds.

"Traitor." Petra huffs.

"Whipped cream!" Bill calls out as he walks back over to them.

"Yeah!" Coby grins.

"Me too!" Lisa smiles.

"I hope you can finish this before you mother comes back." Bill says, making it clear he was listening to their conversation.

"No problem." Coby assures. "I ate a whole jar of mayonnaise once."

"I had to watch." Lisa grimaces.

Petra smiles at the kids whilst thinking about how much she'd hate having any of her own. She can be a great Aunt as long as at the end of the day she can hand back the kids to their parents.

"Bill, how come you can't have ice cream?" Coby questions.

"Hmm…you might say that I'm…lactose intolerant." Bill says.

"Just like my aunt Fern. Except she doesn't tolerate Mexicans." Coby nods.

Petra has to look away so she doesn't laugh at their serious faces.

"Aunt Sookie, is Bill your boyfriend?" Lisa inquires.

"Well…would you say that you're my boyfriend?" Sookie asks Bill.

"Cop out." Petra whispers.

Sookie pinches her, hard.

"Well, I suppose I'd have to ask permission from Coby and Lisa. Would it be all right with you if I was Aunt Sookie's boyfriend?" Bill questions.

"Do you buy her flowers?" Lisa asks.

"Why, no, I…I haven't yet." Bill stutters.

"Travesty." Petra shakes her head.

"Travesty." Lisa agrees whilst absolutely butchering the word. "You better. Rene buys flowers for momma all the time."

"Then I'll have to mend my ways." Bill nods.

"You do that." Lisa says, completely serious. "Then we'll talk."

"Can I see your fangs?" Coby suddenly blurts.

"I don't think that's gonna be possible." Sookie tries but Bill jumps in.

"Why, certainly." Bill agrees.

Petra watches as Bill turns around and when he turns back he's got on a set of fake fangs. Where did he even get those? Bill growl but because of the fake teeth it comes out lispy and causes Coby, Lisa and Sookie to laugh. Petra has to admit that the sight does make her smile.

Somehow, someway, despite all the sugar, they managed to get Coby and Lisa down for a nap before Arlene and Rene showed up. Petra had pointed out that them sleeping now could cuase them not to sleep later. Sookie had shrugged and pointed out it wouldn't be their problem if that happened. And well, Petra couldn't argue with that.

So by the time Arlene and Rene showed up the kids had been asleep for twenty minutes. Thankfully Arlene wasn't mad as she was too busy showing off her engagement ring.

"I know I've done it four other times, but it never gets old!" Arlene squeals.

"Oh, I'm so thrilled for you two!" Sookie exclaims.

"Would you be my bridesmaids for me again?" Arlene questions.

"Of course Arlene." Petra smiles and hopes to god for a different coloured dress than last time.

Seriously who thought neon green was a good idea? She looked radioactive.

"Oh girls, I love you so much!" Arlene exclaims.

Maybe you two are next, huh?" Rene tells Bill causing the atmosphere to go awkward. "I mean…when it becomes legal."

"Mommy, what's going on?" Lisa asks as she comes in rubbing her eyes.

"Sweetie, you're gonna be my flower girl!" Arlene informs.

Ad suddenly it's like a shock wave hits the house as Lisa squeals so high pitched that Petra feels her eardrums ringing. She also notices the way Bill twitches at the sound.

Eric's POV

Eric hears the moment Bill opens the door and realises there is light coming from upstairs. It's amusing to listen to the way Bill's footsteps stop before they suddenly speed up as he races up the stairs. Erica hears the way Bill walks slowly towards his bathroom door and he can't help the smirk that overtakes his face. It is just so much fun to mess with the vampire.

"I texted you three times." Eric informs when the door to the bathroom opens. "Why didn't you reply?"

"I hate using the number keys to type." Bill lies, poorly. "What are you listening to?"

"From my younger days. It's really quite beautiful is you know old Swedish. I have a favour to ask of you." Eric informs.

"A favour or an order?" Bill questions.

Eric finally opens his eyes to look at Bill from where he's soaking in the man's bathtub.

"Depends on how you look at it. Honestly, did you think you could keep them both to yourself?" Eric mocks.

"No, though it's been much easier to keep an eye on the two of them now. Considering Petra has consumed my blood too." Bill smirks at him.

The impudent little shit actually has the gall to smirk at him. Eric stand up from the bath, ignoring the way the water falls off his naked body. He steps out of the bath and moves so he's towering over Bill.

"And yet she's still not allowing you to claim her as yours, is she?" Eric taunts.
