Eggman was in his Eggcarrier, "I know sonic is after the emeralds, but I need to get close to them, without sonic knowing I'm there, maybe I should capture one of his friends and turn him against sonic, and get the emeralds for me" smirked Eggman, looking at pictures of sonic's closest friends "how can you get close to them, boss" said Decoe, "most of them can fight back, but one of them" said Bocoe, "you meant Chris"said Bokkun
That gave Eggman an idea "I will get Chris without sonic seeing" smirked Eggman, "but how?" They all asked "I will keep an eye on him, and then strike when he's least expecting it" said Eggman and set out to watch Chris in secret
"good luck in finding the emerald sonic, I know you been looking for it for days" said Chris "yeah, we have, Chris, I think we'll find it today" said sonic hopping aboard the x tornado, "it's to dangerous for cream and cheese to go, can you look after them" ask Amy to Chris "I will do that for you, Amy" said Chris standing with cream and cheese and saw tails take off with sonic and Amy in the x tornado
"Cream, cheese do you want to go to the park and get ice creams" said Chris, "yes please" cried cream, they walked to the park, as Eggman saw and kept his distance, "there is Chris, but he's with cream and cheese, I better not be seen yet" said Eggman quietly
Chris got to the ice cream stand and bought three ice creams and sat by the lake " thanks Chris " said cream, "chao, chao" said cheese "your welcome cream and cheese" said Chris, he thought it was strange to see someone that looked like Eggman serving them ice creams, but didn't pay to much attention to it
"Sonic, there's the emerald" said knuckles waiting for them, "it's on the cliff" said Amy "I will get it" said sonic racing down the cliff face " almost there" said Amy "I got it Amy, don't worry" said sonic tossing the emerald up to knuckles "good one sonic" said knuckles catching the emerald
"How is the day at the park for you, cream?" Asked Chris, "it's ok, can I get a balloon please Chris" asked cream walking a long a path with Chris, "sure Cream" said Chris walking over to the man holding the balloons, "can we please get a balloon for my friend"asked Chris "sure thing, boy" said Eggman in disguise, Eggman handed them some balloons, but Chris figured out who it was "Eggman, cream cheese run for it, " cried Chris knowing who it was,"you're not going get away" cried Eggman!,
Eggman had got in front of Chris and Cream, "you're not escaping kids" smirked Eggman, as Chris and cream were trapped, but cheese was able to escape Eggman, but Chris found the balloon strings had tied them up tightly, as everyone else ran when they saw Eggman flying in the air, but hadn't seen Chris and cream trapped,
"What the" they cried, as Eggman lowered a cage to put them in it, "I'm going to use you both to get the emerald from sonic" said Eggman, trying to get the heat of his real plan off him, "sonic will save us" said Chris protecting Cream, "not this time Chris" said Eggman putting them in the cage after hurting Chris, who protected cream
sonic heard the crowd running from the park on their way back from finding the emerald, "What's going on" said tails, as the rest caught up to Sonic after hoping out of the x tornado, "looks like trouble inside the park, tails" said sonic, "we should check it out, it maybe Eggman" said knuckles running into the park with Amy ahead of them, once inside, "chao Chao" said cheese landing on Amy's shoulder, "cheese, what are you doing here?" Ask Amy, "chao, chao" said cheese pointed up the path, "trouble, cheese, is that right" said Sonic understanding, cheese nods and sonic ran fast as he could
"you both are locked in my cage" said Eggman ,"That's Eggman," said knuckles "yeah, but something is up" said sonic, but a second later they heard two other voices they knew of crying out "sonic! Help us, if you can hear us" Chris and cream cried out from Eggman's direction, "that's cream and Chris" said Amy "I have seen a cage by Eggman, Sonic" said tails who flew up to see,
Sonic heard what tails had said and ran over to them, "Eggman release them now" called Sonic, "sonic" Chris cried holding a scared cream inside the locked cage, "only if we trade the emerald for your friends" said Eggman, as the cage was moving up to the Eggcarrier "no chance Eggman" shouted Knuckles,
Sonic looked at the cage and came up with a plan "tails fly up, and unlock them, the rest of us will distract Eggman" wispered sonic to tails "right Sonic" wispered tails, "hey Eggface, try to catch me" called Sonic winking at knuckles and Amy to be ready "I will Sonic, your be my prisoner too" said Eggman flying after Sonic
"Tails" Wimpered Chris seeing how close they were to the entrance to the Eggcarrier, "there the lock is broken, cream you hold one arm of Chris and I will do the other arm " said tails grabbing Chris "right Tails" said cream as they flew free in time before the cage entered the Eggcarrier
Sonic and the others had returned that second with Eggman behind them "grr, what the" cried Eggman seeing Tails had Chris and Cream freed, "they are free" said tails "Eggman you loss" called sonic as Eggman flew away when he saw as tails landed with cream and Chris,"Thanks guys" said Chris , " no problem Chris, let's go home" said sonic picking up Chris with the others following him back in the x tornado
later at the manner, Sonic and Tails checked on Chris and Cream for cuts or scrapes, "we are glad you both are not badly hurt" said sonic, as Tails put a cream on Chris's arm, "yeah thanks to you sonic" said cream who was fine, "Sonic, Chris has some small cuts, but nothing to worry about" said tails finished the check up "ow, carefully Tails" cried Chris as sonic pats Chris on the back carefully
"it's getting late everyone should go to bed" said sonic "ok sonic, I have to go" said knuckles "ok knuckles" said sonic, as Chris walked to his room, but sonic followed Chris and walked out the door to Chris's Balcony then jumped onto the roof of the manner to sleep "night sonic" said Chris walking back to bed "night Chris, just call me, if you need me" said Sonic worried about Chris, "ok Sonic, no problem" said Chris making sure sonic relaxed and was able to sleep
Eggman looked at his robot for the plan, "I have to do my plan, sonic isn't going to see anything with his friend capture till it's too late" laughed Eggman, sending a robot to the manner quietly, "are you sure it's going to work" asked Bocoe, "your plans don't have a 0.6 percent of working " said Decoe, "don't judge the doctor's plan, he's better than that" said Bokkun, Eggman watched the robot leave and watched the screen at his lab
The robot reached the Thorndyke manner to see sonic asleep on the roof above Chris's room, and new to be quiet not to wake sonic up "turn invisible and go inside quietly, the object, isn't sonic, but the boy" said Eggman in a speaker, "right master Eggman" said the robot turning invisible as the robot came closer to the manner as Eggman saw the time, it was 5 to 11 at night and knew everyone else was asleep, or as far as he knew of
Chris was resting in bed but couldn't sleep as he was thinking about what had happened that afternoon with cream and cheese, "I'm glad I was able to take them to the park today, it was scary how Eggman surprised us, but I'm glad the others got there that second after finding the emerald" Chris thought to himself as he looked at his clock as it said 11pm on the screen, the robot landed on the balcony being invisible and quiet without waking Sonic up and was watching Chris in bed from outside
"I better try to get some sleep" said Chris lying back down on his pillow, but that second he heard he's door to the Balcony open and looked over sitting in bed, "Who's there?" He said quietly seeing his door open, but no answer, "sonic is asleep, I didn't wake him, as I'm still up late, and I saw him fall asleep an hour ago" thought Chris
But just then Chris saw a robot jumped inside his bedroom, then he jumped out of bed fast, "I better call Sonic's name" Chris thought fast as he tried to call out for Sonic, "Son" Chris tried to call for Sonic, the robot had gagged him and quietly tossed a sack over Chris, but knocked the bedside down that made a large thump, Sonic's ear twitched when he heard, and started to wake up
Tails had heard the noise as he peered out of his room "what is that noise " said tails seeing the robot flying in the manner , then heard a mumbling noise inside the sack, and spotted Chris's bedroom door broken down "get back here, let Chris go, your not escaping " shouted tails, Sonic's ear just twitched again, from tails shouting inside the manner
"What is that shouting , it's late" said sonic, then jumped into Chris's room to see the damage, and heard tails yelling out "get back here with Chris!", " I guess it's hero time" said Sonic catching up to tails, but the robot had got outside from an open window and with Chris still inside the sack and away from tails
sonic, there was a robot in the manner with a sack and I think Chris was inside it, as I heard a mumble and Chris's door was broken down , but it got away, but I tried to stop it " said tails, "grr, I should have been on watch" said sonic loudly, as everyone heard him speak and looked at the mess in Chris's room, "I had a funny feeling about Eggman earlier", sonic looked angry he wasn't there to help Chris
"Ugg what is the noise" said Amy, walking over to Sonic and tails, with cream, cheese, Chuck, Ella, and mr takaka behind her, "were is Chris?" Said Chuck, "he's in danger, but we will get him home safe" said Tails, Sonic looked at the mess, and turned to Tails "we need to get going to help Chris" said Sonic mad, "right sonic" said tails running to the x tornado " I want to help?" Asked Amy, "me and tails can do this, I want you to protect the others Amy, I know you can do this for me" said Sonic "alright sonic" said Amy as Sonic and tails took off in the x tornado
Meanwhile the robot was holding the sack with Chris inside suddenly had landed on the Eggcarrier, as Eggman walked out to the robot "was your mission completed" ordered Eggman, "let me go" cried Chris inside the sack when he heard Eggman's voice, "Yes, mission is completed" said the robot dumping Chris in front of Eggman, "Eggman " cried Chris scared and saw he was on the Eggcarrier in the air, "sonic won't come for you this time Chris, good work capture robot"said Eggman, "no problem boss" said the capture bot as Chris gasped as Decoe, and Bocoe, held Chris up in the air
"Decoe, and Bocoe, carry my little labrat to my lab" ordered Eggman, "yes boss" they called out "I'm no labrat, Eggman" cried Chris scared on what was going on, "be quiet, brat" said Eggman out loud to Chris, as Chris saw the lab sign above them after entering the main door and down a hallway "Sonic please save me" Chris sobbed, hoping Sonic would find him
Minutes after they got inside, Eggman smirked as Chris was placed down on a bench by Decoe, and Bocoe, "I have plans for you boy, and sonic won't stop me" smirked Eggman, "no" cried Chris as Decoe held Chris's legs down and Bocoe held Chris's arms down, as Eggman walked around the bench strapping Chris's right arm down first tightly "no, that hurts" cried Chris watching Eggman strap the other straps down super tightly
"time to experiment on you Chris," said Eggman, looking at Chris , Chris was shaking seeing everything inside the lab "sonic please find me fast" Chris said quietly " Bocoe bring the trolley over, so we can get started with Chris" ordered Eggman "right boss" said Bocoe pushing the trolley over, "time to start" said Eggman grabbing the first kneedle off the tray, " what the" cried Chris getting blood taken from him, "Chris it's just the testing" said Eggman giving Chris another needle in his arm with a liquid, "No, that hurts" cried Chris feeling lightheaded all the sudden, "your almost done with everything, Chris" said Eggman, Chris cried out loud, "sonic!" Cried Chris in pain
Sonic and Tails had landed on the Eggcarrier and hoped out of the x tornado "let's get going, we need to find Chris now" said Sonic still worried about him, "we will find him, have faith, Sonic" said tails, as they both were racing to the entrance to the ship "I'm going to make Eggman pay if he touches Chris" yelled Sonic
Sonic and tails had just got inside , when they heard a scream, "sonic!", "that's Chris, he sounds in pain" said tails to sonic, "yeah tails, if Eggman hurts Chris he'll pay dearly" said sonic mad, as they looked for Chris inside the Eggcarrier
Chris was crying as he had blood work taken, and a skin sample, "arr! No way!" Cried Chris in pain, sonic and tails was now inside and heard screaming coming up the hallway, "that's Chris down the passage way" said tails behind Sonic, "yeah, we need to get him free" said sonic getting mad now, "you're being brave for such a little kid, but now for the last part" smirked Eggman, Eggman moved a machine over to Chris "time to brainwash you brat" smirked Eggman , Chris started to shake when he saw the machine near him and turned on"no, sonic help me!" Cried Chris,
Sonic and Tails reached the lab door as they heard two voices, "you're being brave for such a little kid, time to brainwash you brat" said Eggman's voice , then Chris's "no, sonic help me!", sonic looked really mad , "he's not going to brainwash Chris" said sonic, "stand back Tails" said Sonic "right sonic" said tails as Sonic spin dashed at the lab door as Tails stood back from sonic and the door
"You won't remember any" said Eggman as Sonic had crashed down the door at that second "Sonic" cried Chris scared, and trying to get away from the machine's scanner, as sonic heard Chris in pain, "were taking Chris back" yelled Sonic, " "you're not taking my labrat, he's staying" smirked Eggman set a trap on Sonic and tails as Chris saw, "Sonic look out" cried Chris trying to get up but couldn't, the trap missed them, "tails, I will keep Eggman busy, you free Chris" wispered sonic, as Sonic saw Chris crying on the bench and was chained down on the bench and a machine moving towards Chris , "right sonic " whispered tails knowing he had to move fast
"Eggman release Chris now, before I make you" said Sonic in a fighting position "no way sonic, he's my labrat now, and you're not going anywhere as well" smirked Eggman as he signed he's robots to attack Sonic, but Sonic started to fight the robots and keep Eggman distracted for Tails to get to Chris
Chris saw the machine moving closer to him "no please no" cried Chris in a scared voice " I don't want to be brainwashed, seeing tails flying to the machine, "don't worry Chris, I can stop it" said tails, pulling the override switch down, before it touched Chris "there it's disabled" said Tails as Sonic had kept Eggman distracted from tails, Chris saw tails brake it after tails had pulled the override switch down
Sonic looked at Eggman after defeating the last of the robots, "you lose Eggman, and stay away from Chris, do you hear me" said sonic angrily , Eggman had turned to see Tails had freed Chris from his chains, "I do as I please, Sonic" smirked Eggman flying away,
Chris, could bearly stand up, and felt weak all the sudden, "owe my, I feel weak" cried Chris, as Chris had fallen down onto the ground, "Chris" cried sonic running to Chris's side "buddy I'm here", as sonic had saw Chris had his eyes shut and didn't open them, "What did Eggman do to you Chris" said Sonic worried, tails was looking at the files on Eggman's computer, as Sonic picked Chris up into his arms
Tails suddenly spoke up, "Sonic come look at the files", Sonic walked over to see a file with Chris's name, "Sonic, I think Eggman made Chris weak as a kitten" said tails, opening the file, and the information showed up on what Eggman had done and gave Chris "what does it say tails" said Sonic seeing the file, "ow my goodness" said tails, "what is it tails?" Asked Sonic, "Eggman put some sorta liquid into Chris's blood" said tails shocked, "it's not normal for Chris", sonic looked at tails "it's something we know from our world" said tails knowing sonic saw a tube on the table, Sonic held a fainted Chris in his arms "looks like mobian blood" said sonic seeing the label on the tube, "you got that right, sonic" said tails worried
They walked back to the x tornado, still talking about it, "we don't know how that blood will effects Chris" said tails, "I know tails, you better call knuckles to come help us, he knows more about that sorta stuff said sonic , "knuckles come in" said tails on he's watch as sonic held Chris, knuckles answered tails " I'm here tails it has to be important to call me" said knuckles "it is knuckles, it's about Chris" said Tails, "what happened to Chris" asked Knuckles, "can you just meet us at Chris's manner, we need your help with Chris" said tails scared, "what is wrong with Chris?" Ask Knuckles, "Eggman did something to Chris" said sonic peering next to tails, then tails showed an out cold Chris " Eggman gave Chris mobian blood, and he's fainted" said tails, " ok, just move it as quickly as possible, tails, he needs help now" said knuckles on the watch, "will do knuckles" said tails as sonic just jumped into the x tornado with Chris in his arms
"we'll just have to keep him close to one of us, till we know what happened " said sonic feeling Chris start to wake up a little "S-Sonic" Chris's voice was bearly a squeak and looking up at sonic, "Chris, I'm here, it's going to be ok" said sonic still holding Chris in his arms, "we'll get you home safe" said tails, flying Chris home as fast as they could, Sonic looked at Chris, "I feel so weak, and scared" said Chris scared, "your safe little brother, now" said sonic keeping Chris as calm as possible, Sonic you're bond with Chris was as strong as the time, as our first time we meet a long time ago" said tails who could tell how close sonic was to Chris, "and sonic, you don't call many of your friends, Little bro" said tails, "I know tails, it's you and now Chris, I don't want to leave him alone, especially now after what Eggman did to Chris in his lab" said sonic holding Chris, Chris had fallen asleep on sonic again
Once they got Chris home, knuckles was waiting for tails to land, and made sure everyone stayed away, so they could get a sleeping Chris inside "thanks for coming knuckles" said sonic worried about Chris, "no problem sonic, I know you need my help with Chris" said knuckles seeing how bad Chris was as he kept everyone back
Sonic raced Chris up to his room and onto the bed, and now knuckles guarding the door, "knuckles, can please guard the door, we don't want anyone to worry Chris" said tails "no problem, I will keep his family out till you lot want them to enter" said knuckles , knowing sonic and tails were aloud into Chris's room, but knew, he was semi strict with Amy, cream and cheese, as he knew it wasn't going to be easy to keep them away
Knuckles turned to sonic, Sonic, I know what's going on I think" said Knuckles, "what is it, knuckles?"ask Sonic wanting to know, place an emerald beside Chris and take it away" said knuckles, as Sonic, placed an emerald beside Chris, Chris sat up stronger, then moved it away, Chris fell back on the pillow, sonic gasped "what happened?" Asked tails seeing, "remember Eggman was going to brainwash Chris, but we stopped that" said sonic, "yeah" said tails knuckles listened to sonic, "what if he was preparing Chris into a weapon and we only stopped the brainwashing part" said sonic, "he won't be able to stay here, without a emerald" said tails worried, "he's to weak to stay in this world, we can't leave the emeralds here, if we ever head home " said knuckles pointing out the problem "and we can't bring Chris's family to ours" said tails , sonic looked at Chris, "we'll have to bring him with us, we don't have a choice now " said sonic patting Chris on the back who was sitting up, knuckles and tails both nodded together with what sonic had said, then looked at Chris held up by sonic, they knew what sonic said was the only choice left they could only do, "if I have to stay with you lot, I will go with you" said Chris weakly agreeing with them
They had to tell everyone, "we need to tell them the plan, even if they don't like it " said knuckles, sonic nods letting Chris hold the emerald walking down the stairs to the living area with Sonic behind him , "are you ok?" Asked cream seeing Chris walking into the living room, with everyone looking at him, Chris just Shook his head in a no, "let him be cream" said tails, as sonic sat Chris down and sat next to him, as, Sam Speed, Nelson Chris's dad, Lindsey Chris's mum and Chris's friends Danny, Helen, Frances turned up too, with Topaz on request for the President
Knuckles got up, and started to talk "thanks for coming, we have to tell you all what happened in the past 24 hours with Eggman", "what happened?" Asked Topaz, sonic nods to knuckles to tell them
Knuckles continue to talk "Eggman kidnap Chris, and did something to him" as Nelson, Lindsey, and the other faces went pale hearing what knuckles said " we tried to see if he can coped to stand on his own" sonic showed everyone Chris how weak he was without the emerald and took the emerald away but he fell on Sonic's shoulder "what the?" Cried Lindsey seeing her son so weak,
"so what now?" asked Nelson seeing he's son got stronger when sonic gave the emerald back, sonic spoke next, " you saw how Chris is without the emeralds, "yeah we did" said Sam "he has to stay close to one at all times, that means once we find away to go home, he has to come to, there's no way he'll survive without an emerald with him" said knuckles , "but isn't there another way" said Nelson not wanting to lose his son "like the hospital" said Lindsey, they shook their heads in a no, " there isn't a medical place that could handle this stuff, we know of here " said tails looking at Chuck
"They are telling us the truth everyone, I can tell" said Chuck seeing Chris nodded to everything they said, "but dad" said Nelson, "son you don't want Chris to be stuck in bed for the rest of his life " said Chuck, Nelson and Lindsey both looked down sad "no we don't" they both said "they are the best ones to look after Chris, I know there is more to their story, but they don't want to scare you more" said Topaz agreeing with Chuck
Sonic helped Chris up and back to bed, while the others were still talking on what had happened "Chris, you looked tired" said Sonic helping Chris upstairs "yep I am , big bro " said Chris, sonic carried Chris the last little bit, then tucked Chris inside his bed "sonic can you please stay with me, I'm still scared Eggman with return for me, or one of his robots will" said Chris with a shaky voice, "I'm not leaving your side Chris, tails and knuckles too" said sonic
As Tails entered the room "everyone has understood now and left to head home, you're Grampa made sure your parents had gone back to their work and let you rest " said tails, Chris side in relief as knuckles looked outside on the Balcony "coast is clear tonight" said knuckles, seeing Chris fall asleep
"Sonic, Chuck said I could keep the master emerald here, so I can stay close to help Chris with anything, that needs to be done" said knuckles "that's good " said sonic, seeing Chris asleep and tails lying on one of the Mattresses on the floor, "we should get some rest"said sonic seeing knuckles shut the door to the Balcony "I will take the first shift to keep watch" said knuckles "right knuckles, let me know when it's my turn or you need me" said sonic "will do sonic said knuckles
Sonic looked down "I kind knew Eggman was after something when I battled him earlier this week, but I didn't know it was Chris, " said sonic, lying down on another Mattress "we all didn't sonic, it's not your fault " said knuckles, Knuckles saw sonic lying down to rest on the closest one to Chris's bed
"No, no, sonic help me" Chris started to have a nightmare as knuckles had turned to see everyone asleep "sonic wake up, Chris is having a nightmare" said knuckles tapping Sonic's shoulder, sonic woke up and wispered in Chris's ear "Chris I'm here next to you, it's ok", Chris relaxed and sonic curled up on the end of Chris's bed "I guess I will sleep here by Chris, he feels better, me being closer with him" said sonic to knuckles quietly "sonic you rest there, you're doing a better job, keeping Chris calm, I will stay on guard tonight" said Knuckles "alright knuckles" said sonic, see Chris was relaxed again
