The next day was different for Chris, Knuckles and Sonic was helping with his training
"What is with all the training knuckles? We have been out here all morning "Asked Chris, "we have to see what you can do with your new abilities, as your stronger with the emeralds" said Knuckles, as the three were in the backyard together, "but?" Said Chris worried as Sonic pats him on the back carefully, "that's why we are here beside you buddy" said Sonic calmly and softly "now focus on the power Chris" said knuckles, seeing Chris focus he's energy into the emerald and pushing a tree over without hesitation "what the?" Cried Sonic seeing Chris in surprise as knuckles saw as well "that tree was fully grown Chris, and a normal person wouldn't have been able to do that without a machine" said Chuck coming out to see how they were and to let them know it was lunchtime
Chris walked inside with Chuck, Sonic and Knuckles to see everyone else was there and eating lunch "I'm hungry" said Chris as he zoomed over to the table and knocked everyone's food to the ground "what, was that, Son?" Cried Amy in shock thinking it was Sonic and then seeing Chris in the mess of food "sorry Amy" said Chris in shock, "sonic, he is fast as you and really strong as me, and I don't know if it was from what happened from Eggman's base yesterday" said Knuckles, "yeah, this is strange how it just happened after the way he was yesterday" said Sonic helping Chris up, "sorry everyone" said Chris racing from away from Sonic and the others to his own bedroom
"Chris" cried Cream seeing Chris racing away upstairs crying hard, "Sonic you need to talk to Chris, he's probably not understanding how everything is happening right now, and probably scared from what yesterday was like," said Knuckles "ok Knucks, on it" said Sonic as he went upstairs away from everyone to Chris's bedroom door
"Why am I like this, I know Eggman did something to me, but why?" Cried Chris crying hard as Sonic came to Chris's door and opened it slowly, "buddy, are you ok?" asked Sonic walking over to Chris, who was looking down and sobbing hard and saw everything a mess from Chris who had hit everything in his room from his speed
"Um, Sonic, I just can't believe what is going on, but why did Eggman want me?" Sobbed Chris not looking up, "I don't know pal, but we'll get the answers as soon as we can, but I can help you through controlling your speed, and how to stop without crashing, I promise you" said Sonic softly, "thanks Sonic" sobbed Chris onto Sonic as Knuckles and Tails brought all four meals in
"Ella said Chris can eat here, we're we can help him slowly and with his speed," said Tails, Chris looked at everyone quietly, and ate slowly, and then yawned near the end of the meal "Chris get some sleep, we are staying beside you" said Sonic tucking Chris into bed, "thanks Sonic" said Chris sleepy, seeing Tails had come back into the room after taking the plates out to Ella.
